Miss Ladybug! 💕💕💕I’m sorry thinking about this took so long o_OAlso, this is just the first half of it, to reduce the WOTness (I got carried away…. xD)

So here’s for Rona and Din first:

11. What do they hide from one another?

They met when Milligan added Rona to his “stock of fighters” in the Pit and assigned Din to teach her how to fight. They didn’t like each other in the beginning, but over time a mutual respect and friendship grew. Slowly but slowly they fell in love, too, and this they hid, as best as they could, to keep each other safe. There wasn’t any open acknowledgement about this until later when they met again in freedom.

So they’ve been through hell together and seen each other at their worst, thus there’s not much left to hide from each other, at least from the past ;) But, what Rona does hide from Din is that there is still a little tiny spot in her heart for Milligan. Yes, she does hate that two-faced megalomaniac bastard, but before he showed his true face, he was the one who listened to her and what she wanted after her mother had her locked up in the convent. He was the one who helped her to escape and laid the world to her feet. It was with him that she felt free, alive and happy for the first time in years. So yes, she does have fond memories of the time, and she does mourn this, but she never tells Din.

As for Din, I’m a bit stumped because he usually wears his heart on his sleeve, and that’s why answering this took so long. He tries to hide when he is overwhelmed at times, the sun is too bright, the people too loud, their two kids too much to handle for the moment. But Rona knows the signs and keeps his back free. He also at some point starts to take in wandering cats from the outside and tries to hide those at first, but, well, they’re cats and there’s a whole bunch a Mabari/Fereldan pointer mix doggos running about, too, and hiding doesn’t work out too well for long… So… I’m still not sure, if there’s something he manages to completely hide… ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

29. Why do they fall a little bit more in love?

Rona’s heart grows a little more every time she sees Din interacting with their kids, be it playing catch in a bundle of children and dogs, or singing the Dalish Lullaby to them, or telling them watered down versions of their own adventures as bedtime stories. 

And Din? When Rona takes charge and as the official bodyguard takes care that Queen Anora and Queen Gwen are safe and when she does things that he knows were outside her comfort zone once, he’s like so superproud of her and basically 

Also, that nose scrunch she does when she laughs? He just melts. And whenever she scratches and massages his scalp he internally renews his wedding vows while he completely zones out and relaxes.

(or do both!)She wishes she could forget the moment her father died - he got heart attack and it happened right in front of her, she witnessed every moment of it, how he slowly collapsed to the ground. He was the only person that she truly cared about for most of her life, and because of the trauma every time she tries to think about him, she sees the moment of his death and his face twisted in pain.💎 Does your OC collect anything? Is there a reason? When did they start and is it beginning to turn into a little bit of a hoarding issue? What do they do with their collection? Irina likes taxidermy, and she collects animal skulls. She has four deer skulls, one bear’s, and two cougar ones. She always liked animal skeletons and living in such a wild place as Montana gives her opportunity to collect those. It is just a hobby, not very big, sometimes to do inn her free time. If she’s not killing Peggies, she goes hunting. The skulls she collects are in a small cave in the west part of the Whitetail Mountains, where she sleeps sometimes.☀️ What makes your OC genuinely happy? A person, an item, their hobby? Where is the place they’re happiest, or most at home? What is the happiest they’ve ever been?She likes hunting, as mentioned above, and it actually makes her happy, but what really helps her to relax is somehow spending time with Jacob. She loves John (in a bit of a toxic way, but still) but the eldest Seed became someone she would dare to call a friend, even though they will always be enemies. Sometimes she just walks around with him in a forest and simply talks. Their conversations are usually full of sarcasm, but they understand each other, they have quite similar personalities. Also, Irina’s family has a military history, so it’s easier for her to understand Jacob and his trauma.If we’re talking about a certain place, then her favorite region are the Whitetails, for sure, and she really likes the border area, in the actual mountains. It’s the most peaceful one. Usually the only problem are cult planes patrols, but it’s easy to stay hidden.The happiest moment for her was the day after killing Faith, which she managed to do two months after the helicopter crash. People in the Henbane were happy, and she also felt almost at peace. Almost. Two days after she left the Henbane and went to the Valley, only to get caught by John’s capture party and forced to confess, which wasn’t that nice but somehow intriguing, because John as a person is.

P: Personality1. what is their best personality trait?

- Anna’s compassion. She’s very empathetic and can form connections with people easily, earning their trust through both actions and words2. what is their worst personality trait?

- Her anger. Wrath is her sin for a reason. She’s quick to make mad and even quicker to react and that gets her in more trouble than anything else3. what of their personality do others love?

- Her kindness and selflessness. Bishop is always doing things for others without accepting anything in return and it’s why people in the Resistance adore and follow her so readily4. what of their personality do others envy?

- Probably her magnetism. She makes friends without really trying - and she often doesn’t try, since she’s so scared of forming connections with people due to her abandonment issues and fear of losing them - and it’s something others resent or feel jealous of. 5. do they hate anything about their personality/about other’s personalities?

- Anna hates that she often has a hard time saying “no” to people. She can refuse but often doesn’t, wanting to please others at the expense of her own health and safety.

In others, she hates cruelty and selfishness. It’s often what incurs her Wrath and brings her to blows with people

1. are they honest?

- That’s a 50/50. Reese does lie and is a competent liar, but she tends to only lie to those she doesn’t know and trust or to protect those she loves from being hurt2. can they tell if someone is lying?

- Yes. Reese’s very good at reading a situation and sniffing out danger. It doesn’t mean she hasn’t ever been caught off-guard or betrayed before, though3. is it obvious when they’re lying?

- No. She plays things very close to the vest and remains fairly reserved, making it hard to get a read on her, until she allows you in4. have they lied about anything they regret lying about?

- Lying to people she cares about is rarely easy…and having them learn she lied and being hurt by it always makes her feel regret, even if she only did it in an attempt to protect them5. have they told truths that have been spread against their will?

- Maybe the truth behind how Reese lost her arm, which is an intimate and sacred subject to her, but otherwise no. She often keeps secrets to herself and has no real inclination to share them

6. What is their favourite feature of their partner’s? Joseph could get lost in Belle’s eyes. He loves them, thinks they are the most beautiful he has ever seen. Belle has a thing for Joseph’s hands, they’re one of her favourite features aside from his dicc. 

12. Who initiates kisses? I’d say its mutual. Joseph is more likely to give soft kisses to her forehead or cheeks throughout the day and Belle tends to lead with the sensual kisses that lead to more. Honestly depends on their mood and what they want from the kiss.

19. Who tells their family/friends about their relationship first? Belle told her mum and friends first as she knew that once John found out then everyone would know. Her mum wasn’t pleased in her choice of partner but was happy that her daughter was happy. Sharky was disappointed and felt betrayed, he excepted more from his main girl and can’t understand why she’d go for ‘King Peggy’. Sharky didn’t speak to Belle for a while and he made sure that everyone knew she had betrayed them and was ‘fornicating with the enemy’.

25. Who needs more assurance? Belle is very insecure and needs assurance from Joseph that she is making the right choices, that she is loved and that she is worthy. Joseph assures her that its Gods plan for her and how she is deeply loved by him, his family and his children.

Oh boi I finally got to it, sorry it took me so long!. I’m gonna hide it under the cut because yes. Also, there are some of my headcanons involved so please like, don’t throw rotten tomatoes at me or anything :’D

5. Do they go on dates? What are they like?

Well, the deputy showing up in The Spread Eagle to grab a few drinks, accompanied by none other than Jacob Seed sure would be an interesting view, wouldn’t it? For real though, they don’t. Showing up publicly with someone who’s supposed to be your mortal enemy isn’t necessarily a good idea, neither of them would take a chance at being spotted. The closest they ever had to a date was sitting in a kitchen of an abandoned cabin in the mountains, drinking terribly oversweetened coffee and cracking terrible jokes, because neither of them was able to fall asleep anyway.

18. Which one offers their jacket to the other when they complain they feel cold

Neither. Rose sees no point in it, despite the fact they’re roughly the same height Jacob’s way bulkier than her and there is no way her jacket would fit him (it is entirely possible to use it as a restrains though, that she has figured out).

And Jacob? With him, things are a little more complicated. His jacket is too significant to him. Not only did it became a symbol of status of sort, the damn thing was with him both at his best times, when he joined the army and still had some hope that his life will take a turn for the best, and through every terrible thing afterwards, when said life kicked him one time after another. There is just too much emotional value, too many memories tangled with the worn out material, having someone else than him wearing it feels just wrong.

… Besides, Rose seems to prefer stealing his shirts anyway.

29. Who sneaks in cookies in the shopping cart?

Jacob would do this, and that’s directly tied to my headcanon that he has the worst case of sweet tooth possible. What’s worse, he refuses to acknowledge it and Rose finds it equally annoying and amusing. She still doesn’t’ mind getting him a box of those chocolate covered cookies he seems to enjoy from time to time.

35. Who’s prone to road rage?

Rose. She’s prone to rage outbursts in general and it’s no different when on the road. She likes to drive fast (always says that the best thing about the whole mess that started in the county is that the speed limits stopped being anyone’s concern) so if someone cuts her road or the traffic moves too slow for her liking it pisses off the hell out of her. That being said, if they happen to be driving together Jacob is always the one behind the weal, at least until Rose learns that speed limits are here for a reason.

9. Do they empathize with non-sentient things (dolls, plants,books…)? Absolutely. She’s walked into tables before and apologized to the table. After Toy Story she always kind of went with the “toys/things are secretly sentient” joke so also followed through with that.  Also, her precious, bright yellow 1967 Kimberlite ZT she named Bee- She’s basically Dean Winchester with the Impala. She adores it and talks to it all the time. Within the first hour of meeting Sharky and driving towards a mission with him, they got into a shootout with Peggies. Once they won, she ran back to the car, blurting out all kinds of things, aptly “oh, Baby,  are you okay? Did they hurt you?”  and Sharky’s all “Uh, I’m fine I guess. You’re quick with nicknames, huh?” “I was talking to my car.” “... Oh.” 

21. What would it take for themto break up with someone? What would be the last straw? She’s always been trapped in the “I need to help people fix themselves” mindset as much as she hates it, so a lot would have to happen. Probably cheat 

29.  What recurring dreams do they have? Different takes on how The Incident where her father tried to kill her and her mother when she was a teenager could’ve gone. One particular repeating one is that she never got the courage up to call the cops/ Whitehorse never responded to the call / they never got help and things Ended Badly.    Also, kind of your standard childhood nightmare where there’s some guy setting everything on fire. Which, twenty years later, she’s got a pyromaniac as a best friend/occasional lover so she finds that particular plot twist hilarious.

is your character good at hiding their emotions?she is or so she thinks.for the most part, humor is her defense mechanism for any sort of sadness. sympathy is a burden she doesn't want to place on people, so jokes are made. it didn't take long for Jacob to figure this out about Delilah and confronts her in private when the situation calls for it.

does silence bother your character? if so, what would they do about it?silence is something Lila loves, it doesn't bother her one bit. in the silence is where she finds peace and she doesn't mind having a companion for those times. Silas, is very intuitive and will never stray far from her side if there's a need to take a quiet night walk.

does your character prefer home remedies or over-the-counter medicine?over the counter despite there being a plentiful amount of plants to make home remedies. its that much easier for her because most of the time she needs instant relief. reason number two being that she tried it once on Jacob and it turned out he was allergic to one of the ingredients. she still has a picture of his puffy face on her phone and John begs her for it all the time.

is your character easily scared?in home life, yes; out on the job, no.poor girl is the butt of all the jokes when it comes to her jumpiness. focused on folding clothes and Jacob grabs her sides? she’ll jump and drop to the floor in a heap. hears a branch crack in the trees? you’ll find her latched on to the nearest back or perched on their shoulders. John takes advantage of this quite a lot (he's a little shit, you can't deny that), hiding around corners and shit like that. Lila almost gave him a black eye she got so scared and Jacob couldn't stop laughing “you deserved that one Johnny boy”.

on the other hand, in serious situations she knows she has to very aware of everything going on and uses a different form of focus. not much to say on that...

Actually, most of the time, the rather “intellectual” activities end with them making out somehow… they have quite a visceral relationship, especially in the beginning 😅

Also, there’s poker nights with the rest of the crew, or other games, too. There’s actually a cupboard with a bunch of tabletop games in the mess hall aboard the Hyperion (which - as translated into the Mass Effect Universe by the ever astounding storymind of @john-cousland - is an old turian frigate Jim kidnapped, breaking the Siege of Shanxi, with the help of Ker’Rigan (an asari)  and Tassadar (a turian))…. Among the games are Settlers of Catan, Munchkin and the StarCraft Board Game bc why tf not xD…. omg! maybe they even have a D&D game going!? I need to think about that!

9. Have they made each other cry?

Not yet. They both don’t show their real emotions easily, and they are still in the process of allowing themselves to soften up around each other.

Thank you so much for asking! 💕 💕 💕 💕4. Who can’t keep their hands to themselves? John, of course. Irina is not very fond of physical contact and may be even quite distant at times, while John is very touchy. Playing with her hair, touching her face (scar on her cheek), hands, waist…10. What two songs, two books and two luxury items do they take to a desert island?Irina doesn’t like any kind of music - the only she ever really listened to was native Icelandic folk when she was living there, but that’s not something she would take with her. John would most definitely take cult songs with him… “Oh John” and “Keep Your Rifle By Your Side” are his must-have. About books, Irina would take something about philosophy, for sure. And luxury items are once again John’s thing - his watch and sunglasses. Things like music or books aren’t important to Irina, really. She’s very pragmatic and would prefer to take some guns, medkits, that kind of stuff. She wouldn’t be bored, John would surely be more than enough of fun. :>14. When one has a cold, what does the other do?They have this love-hate relationship and are very snarky towards each other, so there wouldn’t be any type of “do you need anything? How can I help you?” kind of stuff. If John catches a cold - he’s fucked, because Irina is going to torment him to make him feel worse. She would talk about all those scents she can smell in the moment while his nose is uncooperative, moan about how hot it is and take her clothes off while he’s freezing and so on. If the tables are turned, however, she would most likely just stop visiting him for a while to make sure he can’t do anything to her, because he would try to make the cold be as bad as possible for Irina. He’s usually tormenting her on the radio, then. So no, there is definitely nothing helpful from either of them. Cold isn’t a death sentence, so… Everything is allowed!15. When they watch a film what do they choose and why? Who gets the final vote?Irina has a weak spot for movies about war, but in general she likes everything that is hard to watch. Blood, gore, but also tough subjects like mental manipulation, abuse, addictions to drugs etc. John would prefer something more pulp-fiction like. Usually they just can’t come to an agreement and Irina decides to watch something with Jacob, while John sits in the corner and complains about how they have no taste at all. But he is secretly watching the movie as well - just way too proud to admit it.16. When the zombie apocalypse comes, how do they cope together?It would be hard as hell. Irina would definitely feel better if she had Jacob with her at this point, but if she ends up with John, it’s definitely going to be hard. He would save her life on multiple occassions but she’s as proud as him and wouldn’t admit it. They help each other but it’s quite difficult for both of them because they don’t like cooperating.

Deputy Belle Cooper

3: What’s their living situation? At present Belle lives in a simple but  cosy house with Joseph in his compound. Before that she lived in her family’s cabin in Whitetail Mountains, she loved waking up each morning and seeing all the wildlife. Living in the compound is certainly different, at least nothing here wants to eat her… 

7: Are they a doomsday prepper? No, she believes that the human race has had its chance. If the world is to end then let humanity end with it. (you can imagine how that conversation went down with the Seeds.)

12: Aside from the usual guns n’ fun of Hope County, what skills do they have? Her father taught her how to hunt when she was about 8, she hated it and still hates it to this day as she hates seeing any animal in pain. The skills her father taught with a bow however have certainly come in handy against the cult. She’s also a pretty good skateboarder and can play the guitar.

16: What were they like growing up? Any siblings?:  Belle grew up in Cooper Cabins in the Whitetail Mountains, she was a good kid and was always getting into mischief. Her father was in the army so she never saw him very often, he was sadly killed in action after the patrol he was on hit a landmine in Iraq when she was 11. Her mother is a teacher who works at Hope County elementary school. Belle had an older brother, Grady, who was 6 years older than her. She absolutely adored him but after their father passed away, Grady turned to a needle to ease the pain. A few months later Grady overdosed on heroin and young Belle was the one who found his body, it still haunts her to this day.
