I spent 2 hours making these to cater to everyone's taste, so if I ended up forgetting one, please tell me so I can immediately make it for you.
For the record, I went through torture making these because my friend was right next to me making fun of and bullying me.

does rottmnt donnie dislike touch?
i have rewatched all of rottmnt and am ending this debacle once and for all (at least for me lol)
based on the two seasons, the movie and the comics (tho the comics don't really bring anything to this conversation) i think i have the answer to one of the more controversial topics in this fandom
(no, it's not the yuichi vs usagi debate, usagi obviously wins that no sweat)
so, does donnie dislike touch?
in the series, he is shown being fairly touchy with his siblings throughout the series, with some exceptions i will try to list now, tho not with proper episode names as i am not looking them up, sorry not sorry:
pilot episode, captured by draxum in a cacoon with mikey he's visibly uncomfortable and tries to get away
mikey's solo mission, he doesn't look at any of the and in response to a hug he pats mikey's head with a metal arm from his battle shell.
glued together, he's showing visible discomfort at being forced into close (touching) proximity of his brothers, tho that discomfort is somewhat elevated when they do a second go-round after the sticky foam ball got crushed
that time splinter caught everyone in a trap hanging in the lair (i think it's the forest survival episode?), he's, again, uncomfortable and the first to find a solution to their entrapment, be it on his phone
there's probably more, but that's what i remember from the series and spread out on about 60 episodes it's noticeable, but not a deciding factor, especially since donnie's also seen being fine with touch. now, the movie offers us even more of a look into donnie's relationship with touch. this list will include every instance presented i can think of, in no particular order.
during leo and raph's fight after they lost the key, donnie jumps on raph's back in an attempt to stop him from advancing in the fight, as mikey tries to shield leo. it's a very quick decision and doesn't seem to particularly trouble donnie.
after the kraang come through the portal and the turtles escape-pod out, mikey's panicking and grabbing cj, also causing him distress. donnie grabs mikey under his arms like a plushie and is shown to carry him until leo gets back with a panic attack and news of raph, upon which leo starts at cj with a fight in mind and donnie and mikey keep him away. again, no distress is coming off of donnie, no more than the regular situation call for (although he gets more logic-minded and quiet as the movie goes on with only small donnie moments breaking it up, which seems to be how he reacts to stress, but that'll be in another fever post)
he's touching mikey sometimes during the subway battle, but it's most likely he either didn't notice or didn't care, considering everything else happening in that fight (ps the kraang train is my favorite villainous entity in the franchise, give me more of the kraang train and i will give you my soul)
he's shown very visibly having sensory issues (very relatable) throughout the whole movie because of the kraang. not necessarily to do with touch, oh except for the part when he had to get EATEN BY THE TECHNODROME THROUGH HIS BARELY TOUCHED AT ALL SOFT SHELL which is shown to be a sensory nightmare and awful to touch and yes, i had night terrors if that, thank you very much.
at the very end, they all hug with no visible problems except for the fact that they are on staten island. that is to say, there's one important scene still, it happens before the end, but i wanted to have space to gush about it so here we go.
the famous scene of raph grabbing donnie and mikey flying through the air, yelling "don't worry donnie, it's not a hug, it's a rescue". probably the most important thing said in accordance to donnie's relationship with touch.
in my personal opinion, donnie doesn't mask (i mean look at his behavior) or if he does, he does it, rarely in public and even rarer with just his brothers. so every one of the hamato clan knows at least the most important of donnie's boundaries, especially related to the autism, as it's handled well within their family structure (both donnie's and mikey's autism is) . so, if raph calls out to him to warn about the hug he's giving donnie and treats it like a potential bad thing, there are really only two conclusions we can get to.
one, donnie doesn't like/hates physical contact. disputed by just about everything else in the show, except for the listed above exceptions.
two, donnie being open to touch or not is conditional. and considering the mentioned exceptions and raph's rescue from the movie, there's one similarity we can notice between them.
the touch affecting donnie is happening without his consent and without a form of escape.
(except for when donnie's hugged by mikey in his solo mission episode, but considering he's already kind of detached, i'm assuming he's just not up to it and so he uses his robotic extra arms to give comfort instead of ignoring his little brother which aww)
that's the uncomfortable part, the unpredictability and lack of a way to detach himself. aka, donnie's just like me for real. lmao.
donnie probably doesn't mind touch and welcomes it, but needs to be in control of the process and be able to leave if he gets overwhelmed. and his family knows that, hence raph's words in the movie that led so many people astray...
this might just be another evidence of how well donnie is written as an autistic character, both with his low empathy not being demonized and not preventing him from creating bonds (tho sometimes making it difficult) and the fact that the most common opinion of autistic people (that they hate touch, which is something a psychiatrist brought up as evidence of me not being autistic) doesn't apply to everyone.
as a summary, rottmnt donnie is probably the best version of donnie right now and he doesn't hate touching, he just has to touch on his own terms. extremely valid, extremely relatable.

There’s some weird dissonance reading Leosagi fics first before watching Samurai Rabbit: The Usagi Chronicles. I mean it, I enjoyed the fics, truly. But some of them made Yuichi more like Miyamoto Usagi than himself (and I’m not saying it’s a bad thing). It’s just funny after finishing 2 seasons of SRTUC because:
While Miyamoto Usagi has a resting bitch face, Yuichi did NOT inherit it. Yuichi has a resting space face when he’s not getting excited about his ancestor or Yokai.
Tumblr media
2. He wants to be like his ancestor so bad, but he’s just too wholesome.
Tumblr media
3. A lot of people have already said this in a lot of posts, but dude is a disaster (affectionate):
Whooping and swinging his sword and yelling he doesn’t need a sensei after making a promise to his auntie that he would find one and treat the sword with respect.
Almost got run over by heavy traffic (and is not aware of it)
Pissed off every single one of his would-be friends who were ready to beat him up.
Was given a wide selection of mystical weapons, and ended up with a yoyo because he got distracted by it.
AND went to jail. That’s just his first day in Neo Edo.
He is not easily distracted, he's "momentarily focused" on other things ("oh look, a bird!")
Went into a self-induced drug trip after trying so hard to meditate
Tumblr media
4. While Yuichi can be spacey and distractible, he’s already a skilled swordsman with good instincts and reflexes. What he lacked was experience and something to temper his one-track mind.
5. When the show said he’s “all ears, no brain,” they meant it. Guy keeps syrup packets in his pockets so that he’s always prepared. (for desserts, ig)
6. “All ears, no brain,” was said within his hearing range and it just went through his head because he’s too excited about fighting yokai like his great-great-greatx grandpa.
7. Has the selfishness and self-centeredness of someone with ADHD (and I’m not saying that’s a bad thing). He can be so caught up in wanting to be a hero, he would sometimes not listen to his friends, or hog the mission for a chance to be remembered for a thousand years.
8. He wants to be the main character so bad:
Jumped into conclusions with Gen and made a wanted person escape.
Attacks yokai on sight to live out his fantasy of being like Miyamoto Usagi
Tries to pilot a giant robot and did well for 1.5 seconds.
Risks his life more than once by making contact with a giant magic crystal that could’ve burned him alive with too much power.
He’s goddamn lucky his show is for a younger audience or he’d be traumatized along with Leo (and his bros) from rottmnt, Luz from TOH, and MK from Lego Monkie Kid.
9. Likes one-liners because it’s like in his comics/manga of his greatx grandpa. (”Put down the pig, or I’ll put down the hurt -wait, I can do better than that.”)
10. But yeah, all of that and he’s still a polite and considerate kid who sincerely wants to help people and his friends and will do the right thing because it’s the right thing to do.
Saves the three people who were going to beat him up.
Got delighted when the three people who were ready to beat him up were there to rescue him. (”Are we friends now? :D”)
Wants to hug them in the first hour of meeting them.
Somehow convinced one of the most terrifying yokai to be his sensei.
Would babble about yokai in the middle of fighting one.
Risks the city for an alien.
Like I know some people can’t stand its animation. It’s not the best, but it’s not bad either. Anyway, this is the Yuichi Usagi that I have known from the show and I’m glad I’ve met him.

Old TMNT Space Ranger AU Concept Art!
So back around the same time I made the original concept for the Dark Rise Turtles, I discovered a old pilot episode for a show called ‘Space Usagi’ that featured Usagi Yojimbo in a futuristic/sci-fi setting. I became enamored by the concept and decided to take some inspiration from TMNT 2012 season 4 and just make something of that!
In the end, I made the Space Ranger Au!
It takes the 2012 turtles and makes it so they’re kind of like… traveling “Han solos” just doing whatever they can to survive. Yes, they have a mission of locating a lost family heirloom after it was stolen and their home planet was blown up, and no it wasn’t earth lol.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There are some concepts that I want to change, but there are also some I really like!
Leo is blind, but has a device that helps him see through a method of spiritual echolocation
Donnie has a prosthetic leg.
Raph is missing an eye but got a robotic replacement
Mikey doesn’t have a missing body part. He’s just baby.
Another aspect is that I joined together Space Usagi cast to be almost a mercenary group that was hired to track down and capture Leo and his brothers. A fun back and forth that I really enjoyed exploring. (Obviously I’m sure the names are incorrect but bear with me, these are old drawings!)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I had some points and story beats, but I’m gonna scrap most of them and remake it from the ground up because I’m a better writer now lol!
Anyway, I will definitely redraw their designs to update them, but it’ll take time. For now, have some old assorted doodles I made of the au!

Really wished we got this series. I guess the... you can call it a pilot looked pretty cool. At the very least, we would have gotten one kickass toyline out of it.
While I'm here anyone remeber that Netflix show? One trailer and that show was dead on arrival lol. Really should have gone with the Space Usagi idea instead.

Asking some writers/artists I follow:
Is there anything in your fic/comic that you as the author know about, but won't end up in the actual story?
oh for sure
i'll start with the TMNT stuff first because of your PFP, but we gonna be here a while.
[lab rats stuff at the bottom]
warning: fic spoilers galore
In WIBE, one of the characters we meet is Yuichi Usagi, who works at the human ROTM. He also works in the original ROTM. He was robbed while on a trip to the Hidden City, and is originally from a different city entirely. Hueso is doing his best to help him out, but it'll likely be a long time before Yuichi gets to go home.
Some other WIBE background characters in WIBE include: MM!Kendra, MM!Robyn O'Neil, MM!Irma, & MM!Casey Jones. I don't have a lot to say abt Kendra and Irma, since it's been a long time since I wrote any of it down, but I can give it my best shot with Robyn and Casey.
Robyn has been diagnosed with Generalised Anxiety disorder for a few years pre-fic. She's in her first year of college which is out-of-state, and does her best to check up on her family via phone call at least every other week. She's also sort of invested in all of April's new drama, but she won't admit it.
Casey's been playing hockey for as long as he can remember, and intends to keep at it for as long as he's physically able. He's also got a knack for engineering, and I'd gamble that sometime not long after the ending of WIBE, he'd start up the Casey Jones vigilante batshittery. His parents are divorced, but he spends most of his time with his Jewish mother, and while he's never been actually taught much about his religion he accepts it as a part of his identity, and if people don't like that then they shouldn't be around him in the first place. He finds the existence of the turtles to be one of the coolest things ever, but after actually getting to know Raph and the others, it doesn't impress him as much as it used to. (If I had time, I'd add in a tiny crush on Raph, but I'm an aro with WAY too many ideas for this tiny fic)
Then there's experienced fighters, where the main thing is me ALWAYS knowing what song is playing in the background. I really love how much music is in MM, and I love being able to say hey! here's the musical vibes of the environment!
sort of on that topic, i've got a hc that any song with even small references to space are songs that rise, 2k12, and MM leo are more likely to enjoy. they don't realize these patterns, but they sure are there.
and to end off the music rant, one of these days i'm gonna make a playlist of songs that I think the rise crew all collectively agree are good enough (this is what space feels like, goodie bag, punk tactics, etc. etc.)
there's also two in one, which is based off an au by @blackfire-fanfiction. I have to be real cautious abt what I put in there, because a lot of people are looking at it instead of the extended context of the real thing, not to mention how many Thoughts that aren't really canon I have about it. For instance: today I had a good 30 minute daydreaming session abt the concept of rise!Donnie reading leonardo's notebook while he's comatose post-rise movie and finding out about the switching
in dimension desync, I poke a bit at my head canons about peni parker's movie universe and her mental health at home, and have expanded on this even further in an abandoned draft. this is going to be LONG, so here we go: Gwen Stacy and Richard Parker were around in Peni's universe before she herself was, each piloting a mech of their own [Ven#m and Sp//DR]. A few months after Peni's mother is pregnant with her, Richard dies in action, and a few months later, Ven#m sort of devours Gwen (go read the comics because it's really fucked up but idk how to describe it) So then the role of SP//DR is forcefully thrust upon Peni at the age of eleven, and her connection with SP//DR isn't exactly... perfect.
in my team blue universe, I'm fleshing the hell out of Sam-13 and Shadowcat (both from earth 65). Sam was created by corrupt parts of SHIELD (that have yet to have been identified as corrupt) but now is just a regular agent. Cap returned to their dimension when he was 14 and has been in charge of training him ever since. Cap is stubborn to a fault and is def being manipulated by the corrupt agents, but none of the kids have gotten close to that bigger picture yet. Meanwhile, Kitty was inducted into the weapon x program (or 65's equivalent of it, I don't remember much of the wolverine origin story) at the age of 8, and despite odds survived. Wolverine took her in, and she's been helping him bounty hunt since about 13, even though he's trying to stop her.
team blue is also starting to extend to universes that the spider-verse movies don't really deal with through plants that have yet to be explained. but miguel's spite at e-199999 has definitely transferred, which means that, if they were ever to interact, not many of the main team would like the mcu-vengers
in my very obscure mech-x4 series, Olivia (who is only referenced by name once in the show) is veracity's little sister, who is 7 years old. This series is more of a set of vaguely connected oneshots, but still.
i could go ON AND ON about Oliver in all of my mighty med/lab rats fics, but in short: arcturion made his hair start growing in blonde, which he hates. Horace is his adopted dad and so it sucks ass when he dies. Oliver also comes with built in hypothermia! This is also definitely a headcanon, but I think that in EF once the rats have the upgraded chips, Chase's laser bō is green instead of blue, and his super senses are togglerable (to a degree) I also like to imagine Kaz's lil bro Kyle is his number one fan and nobody in his family listens to him when he claims that Kaz is one of the bionic guys on the news.
... yeah I think that's enough for now

Sailor Moon Thought 2! So......Saban Moon
Tumblr media
There's a lot to unpack with Toon Makers' version of Sailor Moon back in 1994 or as many fans like to call it, Saban Moon! Before the beloved anime was dubbed by DIC Entertainment in America, people saw the success it was bringing from Japan and wanted a piece of it. The company, Toon Makers had come up with an idea to American-ize the show by starting from scratch and making something both familiar and different to the story of Sailor Moon as a whole! The concept had been to have Sailor Moon and The Sailor Guardians escape to Earth by order of Queen Serenity when Queen Beryl interrupts the union between Sailor Moon and Prince Endymion and launches an attack. Now living on Earth, the girls stay in a female boarding school where they spend their "normal teenage girl" lives until they're summoned again to stop Beryl's evil forces in Space. To make things more interesting, the girls were to be filmed in live action while they were students and then switch to animation once they're called to save the day. Similar to Saban's Power Rangers when they transform from American live action footage to Japanese footage. Hence the nickname, Saban Moon!
Tumblr media
The idea was bizarre, strange, and yet....very 90s! While in live action, it seems as though Sailor Moon and The Guardians would have been dealing the usual adventures of a teenage girl. School dances, sleepovers, boys, makeovers, preparing for exams, and likely discussing plans to stop Beryl. There also seems to be a personality change in our Magical Girls compared to their Japanese counterparts. Sailor Moon is more courageous compared to the crybaby antics she was known for in the first arc. Mercury is more witty and provides comedy rather than being a shy genius. Mars is no longer a shrine maiden, but a more athletic enthusiast by looking at her wardrobe. Jupiter has changed into becoming the friend group's genius by using words such as, "Statistically speaking..." As for Venus, she seems to be the more fashionable and "girly" out of the group. Not only have their personalities changed, but their NAMES as well! Everyone is familiar with the DIC dub names like Serena, Lita, Amy, etc., but not even those were the official names of the girls back then. Usagi was changed to Victoria, Ami was changed to Blue, Makoto was changed to Sara, Rei was changed to Dana, and Minako was changed to Carrie. Only Mamoru's DIC name (Darien) remained.
Tumblr media
When the girls aren't hitting the textbooks, they're heading off on their Sky-Flyers to their next Outer Space adventure. I do like the idea of using colorful flying sailboats as it plays on the sailor aspect of Sailor Moon. Very cute and I'm sure it was also meant to sell Sky-Flyer play-sets. It seems as though Queen Beryl is sending her forces out into the galaxy in her search to find The Jewels of Power that our guardians aim to protect. The girls fight their hardest in battle and are even accompanied by the help of Tuxedo Mask (or The Masked Tuxedo) with a single rose to help Sailor Moon use her finishing attack. We also have Sailor Moon's beloved companion, mentor, and talking cat, Luna! However, she's now taken the appearance of a fluffy white cat rather than a skinny black cat. The crescent moon on her forehead is thankfully still present. She takes on the role of alerting the girls whenever trouble arises so they can step into action. The similarities between the original 90s anime and Toon Maker's version aren't too far off from each other. Princess Sailor Moon and daughter of Queen Serenity is sent on a mission to stop the Evil Queen Beryl with the help of The Sailor Guardians, guidance from Luna, and support from Tuxedo Mask. Same concept, but different scenarios and several personality changes.
Tumblr media
Unfortunately, Toon Makers was only able to make a one-episode pilot that wasn't picked up for a full series. Filming live action scenes with added animation was too expensive to work with at the time for a Saturday-Morning cartoon. That's when the idea hit that dubbing the anime in English and airing it in America was a cheaper option. While the animation does look messy, there's also this certain charm to it similar to shows like Moon Dreamers, Rainbow Brite, My Little Pony, and She-Ra. The audio may not be the best and the acting can be a little wonky, but it also has that late 80s/early 90s charm sprinkled in. I also appreciate how diverse the cast is when it comes to our leading ladies! Something that I feel would've motivated young lives during the 90s. Had this become a full series that aired on TV, I genuinely believe that I would get into it! This kind of media seemed right up my alley when I was little (and still to this day). I loved MLP, Winx Club, Barbie, Disney Princesses, and I especially gained a love for Sailor Moon! I would've loved to see Toon Makers' spin on the first arc of the anime.....and the other arcs too. Artemis was said to be in the series, so would he have been a black cat instead? What would Chibiusa (or Rini) be like during The Black Moon arc and would she be "Victoria's" future daughter or long-lost little sister since Usagi and Chibiusa gave much more sibling energy in the anime? How would The Outer-Sailor Guardians act from The Death Busters arc? Would they include Helios? Naru (or Molly)? What about Darien? Since Sailor Moon and the girls are staying in a female boarding school, would there have been a rival male boarding school where Darien attends? Could Darien have lost his memories during the attack with Queen Beryl and now takes on a secret identity as Tuxedo Mask? Would Darien and "Victoria" act as school rivals while also pining for each other in their galactic adventures? So much to wonder about....We may not have gotten a series, but we do have the pilot which is now available to see thanks to a special lost media detective, Ray Mona who took so much time and effort to find it. I'll even treat you all to the interesting theme song/music video that came with the pilot! IN THE NAME OF THE MOON, I'LL ENTERTAIN YOU!!!

This is another series I'm working on. Introducing MEKKA
The hare on the cover is Mekka Usagi. He's a young orphan hare who lived alone on his farm on the planet of two moons, Lunaieve. Right before his 21st birthday, he received an invitation to join the United Universe Core as a pilot for their new VES- Strike team.
The mechs in the background are called VES's (vehicular enforcers series S)
This series started as a Space Usagi AU and has shifted into something else entirely. There are still plenty of references to Usagi Yojimbo/Space Usagi as well as TMNT and my TMNT23 AU.
I took A LOT of inspiration from other series like Evangelion and Invincible.

Practically All of the Non Hamato and Non Villian characters
(also known as I have brainrot about my turtles’ world and wanted to share the human (or ‘human’) squad with you!)
Tumblr media
The closest manhole to the turtles’ lair is in the center of the courtyard of Arcadia Apartments, a small 2 story building with three apartments on each story, the owner’s apartment (although it's functionally abandoned), and a communal laundry/ other uses space. The residents of these apartments are the characters I want to share with you today!
April [Top Left]: A human woman in her early 20s just getting on her feet  while going for her degree in Anthropology at the local community college. She is an amateur journalist who runs a blog about local cryptids and legends that people think are fun but no one really believes. April finds out the truth about these cryptids on one fateful rainy night on her way home from a late night class.
Casey [Bottom Left]: A 20 something year old mechanic by day and vigilante by night under the name The Penalizer. Due to issues with his mom and his dad out of the picture, he lives with and has not so legally recognized custody of his younger sister (although he has a hard time being there for her with everything going on.) He has played every sport known to man but his true love is ice hockey. Despite all logic, he is a morning person.
Angel [Not Depicted]: Casey’s 15 year old sister who has been mixed up with the Purple Dragons for some time. Due to Casey not being around to check her, she is able to go out with them without intervention.
Frankie and Sydney [Top Right]: A couple in their early 30s who live in the human world with their two young children: Sunita (age 5) and Timothy (age 2) [Not Depicted]. Frankie is an entertainer for rent at various establishments and events while Sydney works as a bartender at Run of the Mill. Sydney is a cool mom type with Frankie being a goofy doting husband. That one couple who give really good advice and are destined to be a cute old couple one day.
Irma [Middle Left]: A type A very structured and successful hardass (affectionate) woman in her late 20s maybe early 30s. Irma works at Stockman Enterprises in one of their engineering labs. At least… as a cover. She is a robotic human suit being piloted by a smaller yokai being that resembles a gray alien.
Keno [Small in the Center]: A mid to late 20s man who's just living life and working as a delivery man. He games in his free time and is honestly living the most chill life of all of them. Can and absolutely will cook for everyone, as long as they pitch in financially of course. Is the first and only person April told about the turtles after that fateful night. When he inevitably joins forces with the turtles, he is backup tech support, hacking, manning drones, machines, and cameras from their lair (or his own apartment setup) whenever Donnie’s unable to in the field.
Mei [Center Leftish]: I’m going to keep this brief as I’ve explained her backstory and role here. This is her in her younger days, back when she was more aggressive and inexperienced in the ways of the world outside the arena but after her defeat at the hands of Splinter/ Shen. Despite being a source of wisdom for her neighbors, I could see her becoming an antagonist with the right motivation.
This character doesn’t live with the others but I drew him here:
Yukichi [Bottom Right]: The cousin and mentee of Miyamoto Usagi. After an event in his past, he was shot through the multiverse, unable to find his way back. He travels around the multiverse as a ronin helping/ protecting people and exploring the various universes. He has a sword with the mystic power to control the wind (a la the mythology around Grasscutter and Yuichi having a mystic weapon).
It's likely I’ll do a separate post about him someday and why I made this decision in depth, but it felt too strange to change Miyamoto this much, but this version of Leo doesn’t match Yuichi’s personality. I thought the premise of taking a naiver and more optimistic character and having him become more like his mentor through experience would be interesting.

So I've decided to revisit my childhood and rewatch all of Ninjago, and as I was going through the episodes, I saw this wonderful line said by Cole:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I can't watch this scene and not wonder if this is a reference to the failed 1980s Space Usagi animation pitch that only ever got a 3-minute pilot!
I MEAN-
Tumblr media Tumblr media
COME ON! You have to wonder if the idea of Fritz Donnegan (Samurai in Space) was a bit inspired by Space Usagi.
Even if it wasn't inspired by the Pilot, the comic itself could've made a huge effect. It's a shame that the Space Usagi comics didn't make as much of an impact as the Usagi Yojimbo series. If it had the opportunity back in the 80s, it could've risen to popularity with the ninja turtles side by side.
Obviously I could be reading too much into this, who knows. The most likely and known answer is that he was inspired by Star Wars
Here's the link to the Space Usagi Pilot if anyone is interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gWOvcIYd7IU

So-- about Space Usagi
wait-- please don't spoil me, Usagi in space usagi WASN'T Miyamoto Usagi himself but his descendant who's name is also Miyamoto Usagi??
Basically I can see now why Yuichi Usagi has his own show--
Seen the pilot summary of it on wikis/IMDb and I wanna read now and I'm not even done with the main comics-
Omg Usagi literally is an avatar thing with generation thing going on.

In your Usagi appreciation post, there’s him from that 2003 version wearing what appears to be a very cool looking gray armor, where is that sketch from? Is that official or fanmade?
That's Space Usagi specifically from the 2003 version. It was from an unaired season 3 episode that never went into production. Space Usagi also has an in aired pilot from like the 80s or 90s that you can see on YouTube.
Hes like the og Usagi's descendant who's just Usagi... IN SPACE
I found it it the TMNT Wiki

Watched the full pilot, haven't watched the documentary yet, and some thoughts:
•The space flyer things are actually rad. I'm a big fan.
•I'm interested by how much stuff wound up being retained for the DiC dub. Darien's name, obviously, and also I vividly remember knowing that "Serena"/Usagi was going to be named Victoria. (I spent the early 2000s on a lot of Sailor Moon trivia sites, I absorbed a lot of information I can never use.)
•The amount of space filler consisting of just having the actors dance around to the theme song...
•Laughing at the weirdness they were willing to include to avoid the original plotline heavily featuring death and reincarnation was impressive. "We'll send you to Earth in another dimension! Except you're still fighting the same bad guy in space! Because!!"
•Tuxedo Mask is useless in all incarnations and I love that for him.
•I realize it was an actual test pilot and so on but the complete lack of interest in any of the voice acting was hilarious, it sounds like they were held at gunpoint.
