All games and media were Shadow was intentionally shown to be left handed.
Shadow the Hedgehog 2005
The most obvious/noticeable. Body language, rest postures and handling of objects. I love the fact that SEGA realize that being left handed is not just about handling things with your left. Is doing virtually everything mirrored. It suits Shadow since his name also does means 'Reflection of (...)'.
Next to a right handed Black Arm.
Shadow the Hedgehog 2005 art
Trypod baby JP advertisement
Shadow follows the rythm of music finger snapping with his left. He also flies with his left arm forward.
Sonic 2006
Just a few spontaneous gestures. Those are the slowest, some are so quick is hard to record them.
Body language and handling. Interesting, the sceptre he uses to seal Mephiles almost looks like a pen. This suggests that Shadow, as a full left handed is also (of course) supposed to write with his left.
The most telling...
Sonic free riders
Shadow tends to keep a funky stance (it is a southpaw stance).
Shadow Dark Beginnings
The whole fight against the GUN soldier and the rescue part.
Rockstar Shadow
(This also settles that Infinite is right handed)
Super Shadow in Sonic Speed Simulator.
Infinite scar is also very telling. I've read that a scar done by somebody else must tell if the offender is a righty or a lefty.

It's now been a year since my sister passed away. This past week Camp About Face held a... Melmorial for her down at Bradford Woods in Indiana.
More after the break but I think I've gotten closure since then. That and I think for the next few years I'm going to paint up a full Star in her honor. I finished the Hammerhead last year and this year, a Stormcrow TC/K. We'll see how things go from here.
So it has been one year to the day now that we held her funeral. I suppose it's true what they say. There'll always be a hole where someone leaves when they're gone but in time you'll grow around it. There will always be that random instant where you get slammed full force with and emotional brick of sorrow but in time you learn to at least move with the blow instead of against it. I won't have as much as much to write down this time around.
Riley's Children Hospital and Camp About Face decided to commemorate my sisters time here with a park bench. We haven't quite hammered down where it will end up there but we're leaning towards the Memory Garden.
She was very fond of this place. Not just the Memory Garden but the whole camp. I felt a peace there I hadn't felt in a while.
I'm glad I finally got down there to see it. It was always just kind of Mel's space for years. Apparently while things were starting to go bad during the end she would relate to my Father about her times there, the switchback trails, and the woods. I feel it matched up with what she told him. I'll miss her.
As strange as a tribute as this sounds, I have decided to paint up a Star of Mechs in the colors she chose for the Hammerhead.
Probably a bit weird, a bit touched in the head but hey, it's how my strange little mind works.
So I chose a Stormcrow TC/K for her second Mech. Specifically the Premium version from Catalyst. This particular release has had a bit of infamy as they somehow managed to invert the arms, turn it into a southpaw. This works nicely for me as my sister was left handed. Seems fitting.
I'm particularly proud on how it turned out. I used almost the same paints as last time of course, along with my usual fixation on glow in the dark pop. Although the basing is somewhat of a flourish. Earlier this year we went down to San Diego to visit family and the beach where we scattered some her cremains to the Pacific. So yeah I took some of the sand from the beach and used it as basing for the hex, along with a tuft of tundra grass from green stuff world and a bit of glow in the dark support from a FDM 3D printer. I have also took sond sand from the beach in Bradford Woods to use for the next Mech in the Star. Anyone know of some other southpaw Mechs?
Going from morbid to slightly less morbid, or at least a different kind of morbid. I know I'll never forget my sister and will always have her in the back of my head but she wouldn't want me to dwell on her passing any long than I have to. To quote her exactly, "Get over it". She'd also roll her eyes in the way only she could do. So I will endeavor to continue onward.
We have started going through some her personal odds, ends, journals, and recordings from over the years so I'll leave you all with a note she got from a friend on her birthday a few years back.
P.S.- here's a direct link to when she first passed away and me completing her Hammerhead.

Punch Out Women's Bracket OCs! (Special Circuit)
The boys had their turn so now it's time for the girls! They're back and better than ever! Names: Nessie Twins/Moira and Fiona McNessie Ages: 30 (both) Heights: 6'6 (Moira) and 6'5 (Fiona) Weights: 164lbs (Moira) and 162lbs (Fiona) Nationalities: Scottish (both) Position: #4 Special Circuit Record: 20-14 (16 KO) Stances: Southpaw (Moira) and Orthodox (Fiona) "A pair of brutish twins hailing from Glasgow, Scotland, these two have an illegal tag-team trick in the ring that earned them a place so high up the bracket. The WVBA haven't bothered to intervein with this as it brings a larger audience, albeit an audience that likes to boo the twins for their boorish personalities and antics. They don't care, though, as they just smugly tell the fans to 'kiss their fat hairy arses'. Charming..."
Name: Jubilee Justice/Giselle Aurora-Belle Felicity Lockridge Age: 28 Height: 5'8 Weight: 131lbs Nationality: British-French Position: #3 Special Circuit Record: 15-8 (10 KO) Stance: Orthodox (Right-Handed) "Giselle may appear to be your average fairytale princess at first glance but do not be fooled by that gorgeous white gown and innocent blue eyes. For, when she steps into the ring, she strips herself of her fancy attire and into an elegant but optimal fighting outfit as her boxing persona, Jubilee Justice! Her parents hate that their little lady loves such a rough and tumble sport but she couldn't give a stuff what they think. Her older sister, however, is very supportive of her and gets most of the castle staff to cheer her on" Name: Nile Blossom/Cleo Jamila Omorose Age: 22 Height: 5'7 Weight: 126lbs Nationality: Egyptian Position: #2 Special Circuit Record: 20-14 (14 KO) Stance: Orthodox (Right-Handed) "A captivating young heiress from a wealthy Egyptian family, Cleo may appear to be a sweet young lady but that's just part of her game plan when she's in the ring. She bears a stunning flower on her head that produces a sweet-smelling pheromone that lowers the guard of anyone who inhales it. When her opponent is blissed out and unaware of what goes on, she strikes them like the thorns of a beautiful rose" Name: Celestia Age: ??? Height: ??? Weight: ??? Nationality: ??? Position: #1 Special Circuit Record: 24-8 (18 KO) Stance: Southpaw (Left-Handed) "Nobody can get a read on this unusual lady. Nobody knows where she's from, how old she is, if she's even a human or not... All of it is shrouded in a thick coat of mystery. People can figure out one thing, though, and that's that this lady bears some out of this world psychic powers that she isn't afraid of using during matches. She's intimidating to most but children to see something of a motherly figure inside of her." Name: Creep Queen/Jasmine Black Age: 28 Height: 7'2 Weight: 224lbs Nationality: ??? Position: Special Circuit Champion/Champion of the WVBA Record: 30-2 (26 KO) Stance: Orthodox (Right-Handed) "A hulking beast of a woman who stands laughing proudly at the top of the list, Jasmine pridefully holds onto the title of the WVBA's female champion and won't bow down to anybody else, no matter their status or name. She's a spiteful brute who prefers to let her fists do the talking when someone's pissing her off and makes sure her creepy little brother, Grimm, gets his way. However, this personality seems to have been made by a very difficult and abusive childhood..."

Hi Star ✨💛
I'm back on duty and I'm here to tickle the collective fandom brain.
With Presumed Innocent coming out soon (aaaah), I would just like to hear all your thoughts on Rusty.
Is he guilty? If so, would we still do unholy things with him (duh, obviously)? Or is he just an innocent little guy and only guilty of cheating and murdering pussy? He obviously likes being choked and I'm not complaining. What else might he like? Is he a pancakes or bacon/scrambled egg breakfast kinda guy? He does need his protein tho, for several reasons... 👀
Please let me/us know all your thoughts and hopes for the new show and the character we're blessed with this summer, thank youuuu.
Paying my Rusty tax for inspiration ✨
hi Daphne! You have no idea how happy I am to see you!! 🫶🏻💓
First, I am so unbelievably excited about presumed innocent!! It looks soooo good and I love crime/mystery/angst (im a broken record)
Roadhouse was fun but Presumed Innocent is much more my cup of tea. This looks to be a...spicy...tea 👀
I so wish I would've recorded my reaction to the trailer bc oh my goodness!!! I had flash backs to southpaw and rachel doing the thumb thing, and then jake explaining that scene on howard stern. (I can't find the clip but I'm 90% sure it was howard stern. either that or that one radio interview from the southpaw press run. anyway!)
Rusty. Now, I think he's innocent bc my silly little brain is like yeah, obvious choice is to make me think he's guilty so therfore I think he's innocent. And it's Jake's face. He's innocent. Now watch me be wrong.
Rusty appears to be a family man. Family man, full breakfast. I'll serve him the full continental breakfast if he wants, baby whaever you want. Eggs, pancakes, bacon, fruit, yogurt, muffins, the whole thing. I've got time for you!
Spicy scenes! Spicy! Hot! Oh my god! Have we been in a spicy/intimate scene drought with Jake characters? I think yes. Obviously I love the depth, mystery and drama so much more, but we deserve the spice as a treat. Those scenes seem so...intense? I'm feeling very much a power imbalance but it's always changing between rusty and carolyn. that's just what I've taken away simply from the intimate scenes, I'm sure it will very much evolve and change once we know more.
I'm just so so excited for this show. Again, I love the dark vibes, I love murder mystery and it's been a while since I've watched a show/film that's scratched that itch. I love jake in particular in these kinds of roles. Ahhh!!!!
(Thank you for the rusty tax, so appreciated 👀🫠)

Leon Spinks (July 11, 1953 - February 5, 2021) was a former boxer who competed from 1977 to 1995. In only his eighth professional fight, he won the undisputed heavyweight championship in 1978 after defeating Muhammad Ali in a split decision, in what was considered one of the biggest upsets in boxing history. He was stripped of the WBC title for facing Ali in an unapproved rematch seven months later, which he lost by unanimous decision.
He gained notoriety for the disaster which befell his career following the loss to Ali. He did challenge once more for the WBC heavyweight title in 1981, and the WBA cruiserweight title in 1986.
As an amateur, he won numerous medals in the light heavyweight division. The first was bronze at the inaugural 1974 World Championships, followed by silver at the 1975 Pan American Games, and gold at the 1976 Summer Olympics; the latter was alongside his brother Michael Spinks, who won middleweight gold. He served in the USMC.
He had a brief career as a professional wrestler, working for Frontier Martial-Arts Wrestling and holding the FMW Brass Knuckles Heavyweight Championship.
He was born and raised in St. Louis. He was married to Brenda. His son, Cory Spinks, held the undisputed welterweight title and was the IBF junior middleweight champion twice. His other son, Leon Calvin, was shot to death in East St. Louis as he was driving home from his girlfriend’s house. He was an aspiring light heavyweight pro boxer with a record of 2–0, with the two pro bouts occurring only a month before he died. His grandson and Calvin’s son, Leon Spinks III, is an aspiring light heavyweight southpaw boxer with a pro record of 11–3–1 with seven knockouts. #africanhistory365 #africanexcellence

Los Lobos at Midland Theatre, Newark, Ohio, July 14, 2023
Fifty years into their career, Los Lobos are still David Hidlago, Louie Pérez, Conrad Lozano, Cesar Rosas and Steve Berlin.
And they are still, on any given night, the best live band in America.*
On July 14 at Newark, Ohio’s, Midland Theatre, the band made the case again and again across a 100-minute set whose 22 songs spanned their recording career from 1984’s “Will the Wolf Survive” through tracks from 2021’s Native Sons (the grinding, 1950’s rock ’n’ roll of “Flat Top Joint” being the highlight) with covers of the Grateful Dead, Neil Young and, of course, Ritchie Valens thrown in for good measure.
Berlin - who played keys, woodwinds and percussion - joined in 1982. Hidalgo (guitar, accordion), Pérez (guitar, jarana, drums), Lozano (bass) and Rosas (southpaw guitar) - have been around since 1973. And with touring drummer Alfredo Ortiz finding his place since joining in 2021, the band is as tight as only a group of musicians who’ve played together for so long can be.
They came out hot, with Hidalgo singing the jangly “One Time, One Night,” followed by Rosas on the bluesy “Wicked Rain.” And it was immediately clear that though their hair is whiter and thinner and Lozano spends a portion of the show seated on his amp, Los Lobos are having as much fun as ever as the Wolves smiled at one another, interacted with the crowd of what Rosas calls “music lovers,” and cued solos with eye contact and the swiping of arms.
So it went that a funked-up version of the Dead’s “West L.A. Fadeaway” included an electrifying interlude of solos that moved from Hidalgo and Pérez’s guitars to Berlin’s baritone saxophone and back to Rosas’ grimy axe. Hidalgo sung this one - which Rosas dedicated to “all of Jerry’s kids” - along with the audience-singalong “Not Fade Away” -> “Bertha” which came later and found Hidalgo and Pérez playing in six-string harmony a la the Allman Brothers.
While “La Bamba,” as is usually the case, came last (with the Rascals’ “Good Lovin’” slipped inside), the Wolves had previously nodded to their platinum era with an exhilarating reading of Valens’ “Come On, Let’s Go” that kept the half-full house, much of which was on its feet for “Chuco’s Cumbia,” dancing like no one was watching.
Hidalgo, whose high tenor remains virtually unchanged, strapped on the squeezebox for a sinewy and spooky rendition of “Kiko and the Lavender Moon,” sung in harmony with Rosas. And then, as the band looked back to their days playing weddings in East Los Angeles, Pérez took his old place behind the kit for a bit of Spanish polka.
There was a jazzy break - and an opportunity for Berlin to really work the baritone sax - amid a chunky reading of “The Neighborhood” as the band and audience sung together: Thank you lord for another day, help my brother along his way/please bring peace to the neighborhood.
And Lobos meant it.
Returning for the encore, Hidalgo and Pérez, who turned in a blazing guitar solo, sung Young’s “Cinnamon Girl” together to fill a fan’s request. And when the aforementioned “La Bamba” ended, Lozano flashed a peace sign as he stopped to the mic to give the audience the band’s parting message:
“Be safe.”
*Los Lobos were so good last night, Sound Bites is heading to Lakeside for tonight’s gig.

2 gems locked loaded & ready for their Beach CATfight…
1 Brunette (CHRIS) cums in confident with a 17-0 record, 16 by KO, 1 by Brutal Submission, 14 landed in the hospital, 3 career ending vs the Blonde (PAM) who cums in even more confident knowing she can take a punch & give three with a record of 15-0, all 15 by bloody KNOCK OUTS ending her fights early & easily. Yet to be challenged the Blonde brings a devastating left southpaw hook while the Brunette simply uses her speed & legs to subdue her foes. Who wins??? Let’s find out…
…. We catch the fight midway thru as Chris took her barefoot and kicked at Pam’s chest. "AAAAGGGH!" Pam screamed as her chest was assaulted and she fell back on to the carpet clutching her breasts. Chris now went on the attack. She started raining rights and lefts into the prone blonde’s stomach, chest & face. "Next Time." gasped Chris as she increased her assault. "I will not," as another fist hit Pam’s now tender and reddening face, "be so", Nancy grunted, "easy on you!"
Pam couldn't stop this mad woman's attack. She was sobbing and tears ran down her face as Chris continued her punching. Chris helped Pam to her feet roughly. She trapped Pam’s right arm behind her back. This exposed Pam's stomach fully. Chris then slammed three more punches into Pam. With each one Pam wanted to fall but Chris’ grip held her up. After the third one Chris let her fall to the carpet. A quick kick with her left foot to Pam’s midsection flipped Pam over onto her back. Straddling her vanquished rival Chris gazed down at the damage she had done. Red welts were forming on Pam’s gut and sides. Her eyes were red and swollen from her tears, blood trickling from her nose & left side of her mouth from a busted swollen bloody lip. Cocking her right fist Chris slammed a powerful punch to the jaw that knocked the older blonde out cold. Standing up Chris left and headed back home. She still had it! If anyone else wanted to try her they were more than welcomed to try.
Winner: Chrissy Lynn, RN by KNOCK OUT!

Prism Shores- "Southpaw" single (Meritorio)
I reviewed Prism Shores' first single from their upcoming record Out from Underneath (out next month on the always reliable Meritorio label) and I think I like this new single even more. (I dunno though, "Tourniquet" was pretty damn good).
The chiming guitars start a little duel with each other, and then the harmonies peek in and out (along with bits of fuzzed-out noise at times), and the whole thing just congeals into a truly terrific song,
If they release another single before the album's release date, well, I'll probably review it (and then I'll review the whole darn album, of course).

The long-awaited fight between Usyk and Fury will happen soon
Just a few weeks remain before one of the most exciting boxing events of the year! On December 21, the grand Boxing Night will unfold at the Kingdom Arena in Saudi Arabia, with the main fight featuring the clash between Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk and Briton Tyson Fury.
Don’t miss the chance to witness this historic encounter between two boxing giants. Be there to support your favorite and experience the excitement live!
Although this isn’t a fight for the undisputed championship, it promises to be an electrifying showdown. Earlier this year, Usyk relinquished one of his champion belts, allowing other heavyweights — Daniel Dubois and Anthony Joshua — to compete. Their fight took place on September 21, 2024, at Wembley Stadium in London, where Dubois secured a victory in the fifth round.
Oleksandr Usyk is a star of Ukrainian professional boxing, competing in the heavyweight division and holding multiple championship titles. He’s acknowledged as one of the top active heavyweights, dominating the sport. Usyk made boxing history by defeating Anthony Joshua in 2021, becoming one of just three boxers — alongside Evander Holyfield and David Haye — to unify cruiserweight titles and win a heavyweight championship. His record is impressive: 21 wins, 14 by knockout, and zero losses. Usyk’s technique is top-notch, featuring a unique southpaw stance and powerful right-handed strikes that bring precision and power, making him a formidable force in the ring.
Tyson Fury, on the other hand, is known for his unpredictable strategies. His style is defined by exceptional flexibility and the ability to adapt to his opponent mid-fight. One of his key strengths is the art of reading his rival’s moves to create openings for attacks. Fury is also known for his provocative antics outside the ring, including using social media to stir up controversy, often targeting Usyk in the lead-up to their clash.

Punch Out Women's Bracket OCs (Major Circuit)
The boys have had their turn, now it's time for the ladies! They're back and better than ever! Name: Min Bong-Cha Age: 25 Height: 5'4 Weight: 122lbs Nationality: Korean Position: #3 Major Circuit Record: 15-4 (10 KO) Stance: Southpaw (Left-Handed) "Bong-Cha is a respectful and very talented young woman who's boxing skills are very impressive for someone who's only at the end of the Major Circuit. She's also a massive stickler for rules, however, and is very strict about sticking to her routines and training regiments. She could actually go beyond her current position but she'd rather keep her placement out of sheer humbleness" Name: Princess Primate/Nina Age: Late 20s Height: 6'2 Weight: 153lbs Nationality: ??? Position: #2 Major Circuit Record: 12-6 (8 KO) Stance: Southpaw (Left-Handed) "A brave jungle warrior who was raised by a 'tribe' of apes, monkeys and gorillas when she was a young girl, Nina's entire life story sounds like something out of an urban myth. [ad_1] Starc celebrating his splendid bowling performance. Pic credits ( Debasis Sen) Subhayan Chakraborty in Adelaide There’s a popular English proverb, “when the going gets tough, the tough get going”, and this perhaps suited Mitchell Starc best on Day 1 of the Day-Night Test against India at the Adelaide Oval on Friday. Starc finished with career-best figures in Tests, taking 6/48, helping the hosts bundle India out for 180. Perth wasn’t the best of bowling displays by Starc as he managed just three wickets in the course of the five-Test series opener while also conceding 111 runs in the second innings at an economy rate of 4.3. The Aussies were outplayed as India went 1-0 up in the series. With intense media scrutiny, talks of ‘divide’ in the Australian dressing room, and Josh Hazlewood missing due to a ‘lower grade side strain’, the pressure was on the Australians to bounce back, and Starc yet again took charge with the pink ball, claiming his fourth five-wicket haul in D/N Tests. As the packed stands were warming up for the opening day of the match, Starc, with the shiny pink Kookaburra, steamed in and nailed a 140.4 kph outswinging full-length delivery to Yashasvi Jaiswal, whose trigger movement took him just too far across to the off stump. The young opener, who smashed a brilliant second innings century in Perth, was trapped plumb as the ball swung away after pitching on the leg stump line, and the southpaw registered his second duck of the series. The Adelaide crowd, thousands of them still in the alleys and corridors, erupted in massive cheers, perhaps the loudest of Day 1. Starc’s celebration, nerves popping out, muscles all pumped, and a roar of satisfaction, set the platform for the Aussie quick for the rest of the Indian innings. He also equalled West Indies’ Pedro Collins for the most wickets off the first ball of a Test match (three). With Hazlewood, a workhorse with the ball, out for the Test, Starc took up the responsibility to bowl the maximum overs for the Aussies and even admitted to being cramped up a bit during the final phase of the Indian innings. As KL Rahul and Shubman Gill were stitching a handy 69-run partnership, the highest for India in the first innings, Starc, after his first five-over spell, returned into the attack after a short breather. The speedster needed only four deliveries to break the stand as a rising short of length delivery caught Rahul by surprise. Although the Indian batter did his best to make the ball drop in front of the slip cordon with his soft hands, Nathan McSweeney was sharp enough to gobble it up at gully. Starc got rid of Rahul for the third time in as many innings in the series so far. With Virat Kohli flashing a boundary and a cover drive which fetched him three runs in the next over from Scott Boland, Starc banged it short on the first ball of his next over to dismiss Kohli cheaply. Starc banged it short, and Kohli, like the first innings in Perth, was late to withdraw his bat as the ball kissed the face of his bat to the hands of Steve Smith in the slips. Given Kohli’s staggering record at the picturesque venue, across formats, Kohli averaged 73.61 in Adelaide with five centuries to his name. To get rid of Kohli for seven was just the dismissal Australia needed to pile pressure on India. After the dinner break, Starc started with just three overs on the trot as Nitish Kumar Reddy and Ravichandran Ashwin frustrated the Aussies with a quick 32-ball stand, only for Pat Cummins to bring Starc back into the attack. Starc drilled an inswinging 139.5 kph yorker to Ashwin to end his run-a-ball 22-run stand before completing his five-wicket haul by cleaning up his former KKR teammate Harshit Rana for a duck. All the talks of sledging to Starc by Jaiswal and Rana in Perth were put to rest, or at least this leg being won by the Aussie. It was Starc’s first five-wicket haul against India in the longest format while also achieving his fourth in D/N Tests. Notably, no other bowler has more than two five-wicket hauls with the pink ball in Test cricket.
Starc wrapped up the proceedings by dismissing Reddy for 42 while also bundling India out for 180. With his six wickets, Starc has now picked up 72 wickets in D/N Tests, the most by any bowler. Starc was brilliant with the pink ball, bowling a lot fuller, attacking the stumps more than Pat Cummins or Boland. Even when he banged it short, it was more into the body or in the fourth stump channel to keep testing the Indian batters. However, the Indian pacers didn’t take any cues from Starc; apart from a few length or full deliveries, most were banged too short or were too wide, proving harmless for the Aussie batters. Barring Jasprit Bumrah, who tested the Aussie batters in the channel, neither Mohammed Siraj nor Harshit Rana were consistent with their line and length. The Aussie batters also rode their luck a bit as most of the play and misses completely beat the edge of the bat. Once Nathan McSweeney and Marnus Labuschagne, both under pressure after their torrid show with the bat in Perth, piled on more misery on the Indian bowlers, ending the day unbeaten on 38 and 20 runs respectively with an unbeaten partnership of 62 runs off 133 balls. Both of them were happy to leave the majority of the deliveries by the Indian bowlers. With the visitors failing to use the twilight phase, the windy night session with the new ball, it would be interesting to see what plans they have in their arsenal for the afternoon session, possibly the best session to bat, on Day 2 of the D/N Test in Adelaide. However, at the end of Day 1 in Adelaide, with 1/86 on the board, the hosts and the home fans would be happier heading back to their hotels and homes.
