Matters Most
a micro for @jilymicrofics using March prompt 2: infatuated. Words: 999
Read on Ao3 or Below!
James had been infatuated with the sport since – well, at least the age of two, given the photograph commemorating his birthday party saw him in a jersey that fell to his knees, holding a football bigger than his head.
From then, there had never been anything else. Even his best mates – the groomsmen at his wedding, the godfather of his son, Harry – had been recruited from the very first team he’d played for, in the under-six division. The most difficult part of the game had been remembering which direction they were running in, and not dropping the ball in favour of watching passing seagulls. Tonight was the culmination of the past nineteen years. His life had been dedicated to footy since he could kind-of toss a footy, and in a matter of hours, he would run out in front of eighty-thousand people to represent his state. Despite the rigours of training, the last few days had proven sleepless. What if he screwed it all up? He was good, of course – good enough to be picked – but he felt like all the attention would be on him. His coach, his teammates, his enemies, the audience – he was fresh meat, and they’d all be eagle-eyed to watch him fumble a pass or knock the ball on. He had to be unimpeachable. Nineteen years of devoted focus needed to pay off.
In all that time, there had only been one blip on the radar. She pressed a kiss to the side of his head. Well, two, actually. The first looped her hands over his shoulders and fixed her green gaze upon him, a smile glimmering at the corners of her lips. Sirius – the aforementioned forever teammate and godfather – bounced the second in his arms on the other side of the maroon-drenched room. They weren’t quite at the point of the changing room itself, where the anxiety would boil into insurmountable adrenaline.
“We’re going to get those nasty Blues and beat them bloody,” Sirius cooed. “Yes, we’re going to make sure all of them end up on the green whistle. Yes, we are! Yes we are!” Harry was ten months old and didn’t appear to have the faintest clue what Sirius was on about, but James couldn’t hold that against him, really.
“We’ll make sure Harry takes some of those rock and water classes or something, keep him nice and peaceful,” Lily said, following James’s line-of-sight with a twisting grin. “No footy for him.” James’s mouth dropped open at the jest. Lily’s nose wrinkled as she laughed. He could’ve kissed her. His hands laid upon her waist.
“Evans,” he said hoarsely.
“Potter,” she corrected, eyes flashing mischievously. “All right, all right. That was too far. We’ll just put him in Aussie Rules.”
James flinched. “Don’t you even say that word.”
“He can be a – lion. Or a sun.”
“God.” James’s head swum. “I’d rather him play for New South Wales, if it came to it.”
“Sacrilege!”
“Better than air-jumpy pirouette circle-field rubbish.”
“Next time you say that, I’m dumping you in Melbourne.”
“I thought you loved me.”
“Only when I’m breathing.”
Lily pressed her lips against his, and James shut his eyes, losing himself in her warmth. The tension knotted in his neck and through his back melted away. His childhood dream loomed on the horizon, growing nearer with every tick of the clock, but win or lose, tonight he would go home to Lily and Harry.
Lily leaned back, one hand cupping his face. Her dark red hair rather matched his shirt. His hand closed over hers. Their foreheads met. Their lungs worked in sync. She wrapped her other rm around his neck, and he held her close. The rest of the world fell away. It was just James and Lily, as had always been, since that fateful night when they’d been seventeen. The erratic race of his pulse slowed. She was crystalline water and sunny skies. Summer, as the winter cold crept into the stadium, day falling to night. The camera crews had been lurking for hours. Fans hovered outside, waving flags or howling threats.
“I only ask one thing of you tonight,” Lily whispered, her words soft flutters on his lips.
“Anything.” He squinted one eye. “Well, anything but putting Harry in AFL.”
She snorted. “Just – it’s just a game.” James opened his mouth to argue. Lily raised her eyebrows sternly. “It is. I know it’s your first State of Origin, and you want it to be perfect, and to prove yourself – I know. I know how important it is. But at the end of it, it’s just another game of footy. Trust yourself. You’ve played against every one of these blokes before. They’ve been in different jerseys, but they’re the same players. Have tickets on yourself.”
It was James’s turn to arch his eyebrows. “I thought I was too cocky,” he whispered. Lily rolled her eyes.
“It goes without saying – pass the ball, for God’s sake.” She kissed his cheek. “Don’t get in your head about it. You deserve your spot on the team, but you’re not the only person on the team. Unless you pass it to Sirius’s bloody brother at the ten-metre line and he immediately throws himself into a try, the fate of the game isn’t on you.”
James took a deep breath. “I know.”
She disentangled herself from him for a moment, leaving his exposed and afraid as the room swirled around him, full of players and families and overexcited children and teary fathers. But in a moment she returned, Sirius behind her, complaining of kidnapping.
“Quiet,” Lily said briskly. “A Current Affair will hear you.”
Harry, now safe in her arms, reached for James. Their faces lit in twinned amazement. Harry’s tiny features beamed. James’s heart swelled three sizes. This was what mattered.
“Harry,” he choked, eyes dampening. He pulled his wife and son into a hug. They were the biggest victory of his life.
“We love you,” Lily said. “Now go smash them.”

How a Cuban American Illustrator Sees This Country Today
Edel Rodriguez’s new exhibition, “Apocalypso,” reflects on democracy under threat in the nation that welcomed him in his childhood.
— By Graciela Mochkofsky | May 4, 2023

Art work by Edel Rodriguez.
On a recent, gray morning, I drove with the Cuban American artist Edel Rodriguez in his blue Mini Cooper to the County College of Morris (C.C.M.), in Randolph, New Jersey, to see the latest show of his work, “Apocalypso” (a portmanteau of “apocalypse” and “calypso,” for the often satirical popular Caribbean music). Its theme, he explained, is “the state of the world in the past thirteen years”: horrible, but you can still laugh about it. Rodriguez, who is fifty-one, is best known for his striking editorial illustrations of the Trump years, many of which appeared in The New Yorker, including “After the Insurrection,” in which an American flag waves at half-mast against a dark sky, and which appeared on the cover of the magazine the week after January 6, 2021. (In 2016, a cover for Time’s “Meltdown” series, showing an orange head, with no features except for a yelling mouth and bright-yellow hair, melting away, won the American Society of Magazine Editors’ award for best magazine cover.) The show features Rodriguez’s editorial work, and also a selection of his drawings, posters, book covers, acrylic paintings, and Cuban-cigar-box assemblages.

“After the Insurrection,” which was first published as the cover of the January 18, 2021, issue of The New Yorker. © 2021 Edel Rodriguez and The New Yorker.
We spent some time looking at two drawings, in particular. Initially, they appeared to be different perspectives of the same scene. In one, a crowd of protesting men march toward the viewer, with a domed Capitol in the background; in the other, a crowd of protesting men, this time with their backs to the viewer, march toward what looks like the same building. Only when you look closer do you realize that the drawings portray two very different events. In the first, the men have beards, wear military caps, hold rifles, and wave Cuban flags; a placard reads “Patria o muerte” (“Fatherland or death”). In the second, the men wear maga hats, brandish sticks, and wave American and Confederate flags; the placard reads “Trump.” The first is a portrait of January 8, 1959, in Havana, when the Cuban Revolution deposed Fulgencio Batista and brought Fidel Castro to power; the second is of January 6, 2021, when supporters of Donald Trump stormed the U.S. Capitol, on which the Cuban Capitol was modelled. The drawings are from Rodriguez’s forthcoming graphic memoir, which tells his story as a Cuban immigrant; he summarizes it as “my life between two insurrections.”
The comparison might seem like a stretch, and it is certain to provoke outrage within the Cuban American community. Ever since Castro defined his regime as Communist, the exiled community, which is still mostly resident in the Miami area, has embraced the anti-Communist cause, equating even the faintest progressive policies with the hated regime they had fled. And—ever since President John F. Kennedy refused to offer air support on the day of the botched C.I.A.-sponsored Bay of Pigs invasion, in 1961—for most Cuban Americans embracing that cause has meant embracing the Republican Party. Rodriguez’s illustrations reclaim the community’s grievances, mythologies, and yearnings, and suggest that every Cuban American who opposes the island’s autocratic regime should also be anti-Trump—and these days, by extension, anti-Republican.
As Rodriguez sees it, his art is an expression of his life experience as an exile in this country. Born in 1971, he was raised among sugarcane and tobacco fields in El Gabriel, a village south of Havana. His parents—his mother was a homemaker and his father a wedding and portrait photographer—did not support the revolution, and they were looking for a way to leave for Spain when a different opportunity presented itself, in early 1980. In the midst of an economic and diplomatic crisis, the government announced that Cubans who wanted to leave the island and who had someone to pick them up at the port of Mariel, to the east of Havana, could do so. About a hundred and twenty-five thousand Cubans set off, between April and October, in what became known as the Mariel boatlift. Rodriguez, who was eight at the time, his parents, and his sister were among the Marielitos; his mother had family members in Florida, who sent a boat to get them.
Rodriguez grew up in Miami, the city that Barack Obama later called “a clear monument to what the Cuban people can build.” (The title of Rodriguez’s memoir, which will be published in November, is “Worm,” which was Fidel Castro’s term for the exiles.) For a while, Rodriguez’s father did odd jobs—street vender, painter, construction worker—then he started a small tow-truck business. Rodriguez wanted to be an artist, and, in the early nineteen-nineties, he won a scholarship to study painting at the Pratt Institute, in Brooklyn; after graduating, he got a job at Time, and soon became an art director of the international edition. In 1997, he married Jennifer Roth, an artist from New Hampshire who is a granddaughter of a Holocaust survivor, and the couple moved to a house in New Jersey, where he still has his studio. But, like so many émigrés, he lives in a state of nostalgia for the lost country. “To me, living in Cuba would be a dream. But I don’t think it will happen,” Rodriguez told me. “The immigrant lives like that, floating in the middle, missing his things. There is no solution. There is no perfect ending.”
Trump’s electoral triumph dramatically altered Rodriguez’s view of the country that had welcomed him in his childhood. “I never thought that I’d be fearful in this country, that I’d have to think twice about what to say,” he told me. His idea of America as the beacon of democracy was upended when, a few weeks after being sworn in, Trump imposed what became known as the “Muslim ban,” prohibiting entry to the U.S. for citizens and refugees from seven mostly Muslim countries. “My life mirrored that of many refugees who were seeking asylum in America but had suddenly been barred,” Rodriguez writes, in “Worm.” “How could a country known for welcoming immigrants suddenly turn so xenophobic?” He sensed that democracy itself was under threat, and that led to his likening of Trump to Castro. “Having lived with the propagandistic distortions of the Cuban Communist Party, I was especially attuned to the danger of the government warping reality, and the media’s failure to confront that.”

Art work by Edel Rodriguez. People on a Tank with Guns and a Cuban Flag.
In November, 2016, he drew Trump’s head as an orange meteor with a yellow tail, hurtling toward the Earth. He posted that image, and several others, on Instagram, and granted permission to anyone who wanted to print the images as posters and march with them; many people did. A few years earlier, he had been working on a series of illustrations about isis which culminated in the image of a militant brandishing a knife in one hand and his own head in the other. When the Muslim ban was announced, Rodriguez redid the image, with Trump wielding a knife in one hand, and the head of the Statue of Liberty in the other. The German magazine Der Spiegel published it on the cover in February, 2017, under the title “America First.”
An image depicting the beheading of America’s preëminent symbol of freedom by a sitting American President attracted a lot of attention, and Rodriguez was widely interviewed. Not all of the attention was positive: he was attacked on social media. A vice-president of the European Parliament found it “tasteless.” So did Rodriguez’s mother, who still lives with his father in Miami, where Rodriguez has some eighty relatives—many of them, like his mother, are conservatives. “When did you decide to become a cheap artist, criticizing the President of the United States?” she asked him. They didn’t speak for weeks.
But severed heads, and machetes, are everywhere in his work, a product, he says, of a childhood lived in the Cuban countryside. (His mother butchered chickens and goats in their yard in El Gabriel.) The show at C.C.M. includes a chicken head on a pike, painted with coffee on paper; an acrylic painting in a cigar box of the heads of four migrants piled on a sailboat; a crowned head lying on a bloody knife, on the official poster for Joel Coen’s movie of “Macbeth”; and more. “These images have been in my head my entire life. I’ve been drawing them since I was a teen-ager,” Rodriguez told me.
“Most of my work starts from where I was born,” he said at a presentation, in 2017. “The graphics of the revolution got ingrained in my head—how you communicate powerful messages . . . We were all raised to be pioneers for the revolution.” The revolution’s aesthetics, stark and maximalist, remain an obvious influence in his art. At the same time, “humor is very important,” he told me. “If you make someone laugh, they’ll slightly go to your side. If you figure out how to share your ideas with humor, you can change people’s hearts.” And this, he told me, is also a legacy from his past. “In Cuba,” he said, “you laugh at things because there is no solution. You are laughing at the ridiculousness of the whole thing.”
One thing that many people in this country can’t understand, he told me, is the growing support among members of the Latinx community for Republican candidates with strong anti-immigrant platforms—how they “can be racist, or anti-gay.” Just a few years before Trump came to power, support for conservative politicians had started to wane among Cuban Americans, leading to an almost equal number leaning Democratic as Republican—largely a result of the fact that the younger, U.S.-born generations were increasingly progressive. But, in 2016, according to exit polls, fifty-four per cent of Cuban Americans in Florida voted for Trump (compared with twenty-eight per cent of Latinxs nationwide); in 2020, according to the Pew Research Center, nearly six out of ten registered Cuban American voters nationwide identified as Republican, and more than half approved of the Trump Presidency.
“Cuban voters have ebbed and flowed toward the Republican Party,” Mark Hugo Lopez, the director of race and ethnicity research at Pew Research, confirmed. “That trend has recently gotten stronger,” Ada Ferrer, the author of the 2022 Pulitzer Prize-winning book “Cuba: An American History,” told me. Ferrer, who is also Cuban American, is still trying to find “a satisfactory explanation” to why “the most recent arrivals” from the island, those who came in the past fifteen years, “have become so Trumpist.” Cuban Americans in Florida have also become strong supporters of the state’s conservative governor, Ron DeSantis. Rodriguez thinks that many “Cuban American voters will vote for anyone who speaks strongly against Communism and promises to destroy the regime back on the island. This is their top voting issue. It’s all theatre, but the Republican Party does it very well, and the Democrats fail miserably at it.”
He also believes that the center is salvageable, and that, as he told me, “this country is much more in the middle than the extremes.” His fears for democracy, however, persist. As he writes in his memoir, “The decision to leave my country changed my life, but it wasn’t my decision. I was tossed about, like a boat at sea, by the winds of history. After many years, I had come to terms with my life as an American. Now I feel at the mercy of those winds yet again.” ♦

Divinity: Mastered
Well, yes and no, but as of Tuesday, I officially completed all classes and assignments for my Masters of Divinity! I’m waiting on final grades and on Friday will officially be a seminary grad!

After 3.5 years it feels crazy to finally be here, graduating seminary with my Masters of Divinity. As this chapter in my life closes I reflect back on all the things I did in seminary, and suddenly, I feel like my perpetual exhaustion has all been validated:
I took 26 classes in 5 semesters across 3 campuses. I lived in Philadelphia, took some classes in Gettysburg, and for the last year joined the Distance Learning crew online and on Zoom. I took classes in theology, history, faith formation, administration, worship, and so much more. Some of my favorite were definitely: The Lord’s Supper and the Church as Communion, Jesus and Cultural Perspectives, Theology and Praxis of Disaster Spiritual Care, and the travel seminar to Israel, Palestine, and Jordan.
I completed field education with Upper Dublin Lutheran Church. I was at church every Sunday, preached a few times each semester, attended or taught confirmation, adult forum, and some Sunday School classes, and did countless other programs with the church. While also taking classes.
I completed Clinical Pastoral Education - I spent 10 weeks working at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in center city Philadelphia. I met with patients and families in the Neuro Intensive Care Unit, Surgical Intensive Care Unit, the Emergency Department, and much more. I listened to stories, sat with people while they died, and learned a lot about the incredible health care workers who work so hard. I held the record for number of traumas in one night and the record number of total deaths in a CPE unit. It was hard but so holy.
I spent a year on internship working full time at First Lutheran Church in Waltham, MA. The first six months were filed with preaching, teaching, leading Bible Study, visiting members, planning worship, and more. The last six months were figuring out how to do church at the beginning of the COVID-19 global pandemic. I learned first hands the realistic demands of ministry and fell absolutely in love with pastoral ministry.
I worked at the Lutheran Archives Center at Philadelphia helping to preserve Lutheran history. I spent countless hours inventorying objects, artifacts, documents, and photographs from conventions, gatherings, and congregations dating back to the 1700′s in some cases. It taught me a lot about how much the church changed in just the last few hundred years.

Pre-pandemic we had social gatherings and outings. Thursday Church Key (drinking/ social time), evening Compline worship, Wednesday chapel and community lunch, Thursday breakfast and dinner church, Sunday family dinner, Monday outings at McMens, snowball fights, football practice, and so much more. It’s this social time that I’ve missed the most in the last year with the pandemic. But we still found ways to get together outside for meals and games, worship together on Zoom, and have hallway distanced gatherings.
Above: gathered for Compline, Below: Luther Bowl 2019
I made friends from near and far. Some from the same synod, others from new synods and states, and some from across the country and world. I also reconnected with friends from ELCA Youth Gatherings and from Young Adults in Global Mission. They have all taught me something unique and interesting about church, faith, and this crazy journey we are on.
Above: YAGM friends in seminary at ULS and LTSS - Justin: Mexico, Luke: Argentina/Uruguay, Rebekah: Hungary, Catherine: UK, Me: South Africa, Below: one of the many pre-pandemic family dinners
I wanna take a minute to shoutout my best friends from seminary. Zach Dean, (now) Rev. Stephen Boyhont, and Justin Marx. These dudes supported me during meltdowns, shared food, friendship, and laughter, and were always down for an adventure to Trolly Car, Earth Bread, or Ritas. Seminary would not have been the same without them. Also a huge shoutout to Sarah Marx and Ana Crivelli (soon to be Dean) for keeping all of us sane - we wouldn’t be where we are without your love and support.
Stephen is now off doing the pastor thing in Milwaukee, WI! Prayers and blessings to Zach and Justin as their next steps continue to unfold. Enjoy this transformation photo from 2019 (pre-internship and pandemic) to our goodbye gathering for Stephen in April 2021.
There won’t be an in-person graduation ceremony, which is okay. It would have been nice to see all my friends one last time, but safety is of the utmost importance. We will all be together again someday, maybe a reunion? Maybe some ordinations in the future? Maybe future weddings (looking at you Zach and Ana)! We may be all over the country, but we will always be connected.
So what’s next for me? This is a journey filled with prayer and discernment, completing my master’s degree was just the beginning. That being said, I’m currently in conversation with the New Jersey Synod of the ELCA in the hopes of finding a congregation where I will serve my first-call as pastor! Stay tuned to see how the future unfolds!

Thanksgiving In Space
It’s Thanksgiving next week. I’m stating this here so I can see it in a sentence. I’ve had to do that a lot this year! Write down the day of the week, the date. Numbers and days floating around like a lava lamp; a pink glow in the far end a big room with no lights. Thursday, November 26th. Thanksgiving will happen and then it will be over. That is my prediction. I am an oracle.
Right now, Thanksgiving feels like a threat. The virus is as bad as it’s ever been and only getting worse. The holidays are not suggested. They are not recommended. We are being warned. People will still gather, though. Families will still meet in secret, like they’re having an affair. No photos, please. A celebrity wedding. You can’t stop people from gathering. We love to gather. No one gathers like humans. The only difference now is, gathering could mean you die. But what’s Thanksgiving without gathering? To gathering! I keep imagining large families standing around a Thanksgiving table, as as long as a city block - everyone’s arms and legs stretched out like starfish. Here we are, together at last.
I will not gather this year. I won’t see my family. I will miss them.
I keep thinking about 4 years ago, the first Thanksgiving I was sober. I’d been sober since August. I was still living in New York. My parents were still living in New Jersey, where I grew up. I spent most of my time at home out walking. Walking, walking, walking. ‘What do I like to do in my free time?’ I thought. ‘I walk.’ My parents’ neighbors would peer out at me through their window blinds. “There is he,” they’d say. “The Walking Gay.” An urban legend.
It was warm out. The sky was yellow and grey every day. I watched my dad and brother-in-law play football in the backyard from my bedroom window. My mom got an inflatable turkey for the front yard. She said she’d always wanted one as a kid, and never got to. This year, she was changing that. It felt inspiring. But I didn’t want to be happy for her. I didn’t want to be happy for any one that Thanksgiving. I was miserable. I wanted to stay up after everyone went to bed and drink beer and wine till I was dark matter. I wanted to snort scalding lines of cocaine and picture them as airplane vapor trails in the sky and be certain I can hear my skeleton rattling. But I didn’t. I walked. I smoked cigarettes in secret. I went to AA meetings in town and saw parents of kids I knew growing up. I didn’t say hello to any of them. I didn’t speak at the meetings. I said my name, said my day count. I left as soon as the meeting was over, back back to my mom’s car, to drive around South Jersey. To drive to 7-11. To drive by the farm I drove by after I came out to my parents, and screamed out the window at.
The Saturday after Thanksgiving, my family drove 15 minutes west, into Philadelphia, where my mom had signed us up for an afternoon segway tour of the city. I didn’t understand why were doing a tour of a city we’d lived outside of our whole lives. I’d announced a week in advance that I would not be participating. It was unfathomable to me. I felt unable in every sense. Everything was impossible then. At that time, I was sending my sponsor photographic evidence that I was eating breakfast every morning - getting on a scooter and winding through city streets felt like war. But I agreed to go. I wanted to be at war.
Twenty minutes into the segway tour, it started drizzling and I started to cry. I took every car honk personally. We weaved in and out of car-packed streets, passing by the brick homes of Old City. The house where Betsy Ross made her flag. I decided on that segway that I hated Betsy Ross. Betsy Ross could go to hell. We floated into South Philly, into the Italian Market. I was lagging behind my family. I couldn’t bear to be around them. They all seemed so comfortable in their helmets. Gliding with ease on these monstrosities. I felt betrayed by them. I felt betrayed by Betsy Ross.
My body felt hot. I saw a sports bar ahead. Straight guys in Patagonia pullovers, drinking. Yelling. I wanted to burst into flames right then and there, and zoom past the pullover bros on my segway, right up to the bar and black out. But I didn’t. I softly sobbed. My dad slowed down and fell behind to check on me. I told him he and my mom were ruining my life. He kind of nodded and drove up ahead. My sister and brother-in-law looked back at me, laughing. I yelled at them them not to look at me. They turned ahead.
Right then, I remembered a time when I was a kid, and my family was on a Duck Boat tour in the Boston Harbor, and I had to pee. I told my parents and begged them not to tell anyone. They told my aunt, who told the Duck Boat captain, and the next thing I knew, he was instructing the other passengers of the boat to look away. My family stood with their backs turned, guarding me and laughing. I peed into the wind and cried in shame.
Back in Philly, we were almost done the tour. My mom glided next to me. We were silent. I told her I hated segways and would never ride again. She told me I was annoying. I started laughing, tears still pouring out. As soon as I laughed, I felt desperate to stay on the segways forever, bundled with my family in the rain.

I have re arranged these chronologically. This exercise was such a trip down memory lane. I started shooting bloggers and #NYFW as a self taught photographer. Through this exercise I was able to notice my love for portrait photography and how portraits stood out from the 1000s of pictures I have taken. The last 4 photos were taken this year and three of them (the ones with the white borders/canvas) were part of my final project for Digital Photo I.

One of the key advantages of hiring wedding videographers in South New Jersey is the ability to tell a complete and immersive story of your wedding day. Photographs capture still moments, but videos bring those moments to life. South New Jersey's picturesque landscapes and charming venues deserve to be showcased dynamically, and a skilled videographer can weave together the sights, sounds, and emotions to create a narrative that transports you back to the magic of your wedding day.

Emotional Resonance
Wedding videos have a unique power to evoke emotions that might be missed in photographs alone. The quiver in your voice as you exchange vows, the laughter shared during toasts, and the joyous dance floor celebrations – these are moments best experienced through moving images. South New Jersey's vibrant wedding culture, with its blend of tradition and modernity, can be expertly captured by videographers who understand the local nuances.
Documenting Unseen Moments
While photographers focus on capturing the highlights, videographers excel at documenting the in-between moments. Those stolen glances, heartfelt whispers, and spontaneous bursts of laughter often go unnoticed in the hustle and bustle of a wedding day. Wedding videographers in South New Jersey are adept at anticipating and preserving these candid moments, providing you with a comprehensive and authentic representation of your special day.
Cinematic Quality
Advancements in technology have elevated wedding videography to a cinematic level. South New Jersey, with its scenic beauty, provides a stunning backdrop for creating cinematic masterpieces. Professional videographers employ high-quality equipment, including drones for breathtaking aerial shots, ensuring that your wedding video is a true work of art. The result is a film that not only documents your wedding but elevates it to a cinematic experience you'll want to revisit again and again.
Shareable Memories
In the age of social media, sharing your wedding memories has become a cherished tradition. Wedding videographers in South New Jersey can create highlight reels and teaser videos that are easily shareable on platforms like Instagram and Facebook. This allows you to relive your special day with friends and family who couldn't be there in person, fostering a sense of connection and celebration beyond the wedding day itself.
Choosing to hire wedding videographers in South New Jersey is a decision that goes beyond preserving memories; it's about creating a timeless masterpiece that captures the essence of your love story. From immersive storytelling to cinematic quality, the benefits of having a professional videographer are boundless.Top of Form

Hi friends! Magi here 👋🏻 I started this company, officially, about 5 years ago and it’s been so incredible to see the amount of organic growth we’ve had over the years! It’s funny, being in the wedding industry for so long and now getting to learn SO much by being on the other side of things as a bride. (We’re about 2 weeks away from our wedding!)💕 Planning alongside our clients and experiencing excitement, anxiety, and butterflies alongside my fellow brides has been such a game changing experience. I get to feel what my brides have felt for so long, and it’s truly humbling! (There is so much more that goes into planning that I didn’t even realize, even after photographing 200+ weddings! Those little details, man.)✨ Scott and I are photographing one more wedding this Friday at one of our favorite South Jersey venues, and then we leave for our destination wedding the following week! Anyone have any last minute tips I should know about?! — view on Instagram https://ift.tt/2xCpkDk
