Soundwave (and team)'s care and enthusiasm gradually win him over, helping him reach his potential as great leader. just flip the cbv storyline: sg Hot rod refuses to cooperate and demands, "Who's supposed to lead this mixed team of Autobot & Decepticon?" sg Soundwave: You : )

The Autobots erase Hot Rod's memories to hurt Soundwave and Megatron who are his conjunx. He used to be a Decepticon and was beloved by all. The Autobots kidnapped him and erased his memory before putting him in stasis. The Decepticons were never the same. Soundwave and Megatron are devastated thinking their mate is dead. The Decepticons become ruthless and lose their way. Megatron becomes a tyrant wanting to destroy the Autobots in revenge.

One day the wreckers on Earth stumble upon his stasis pod. For Hot Rod, he has been frozen in time and when he wakes up he's confused because everything is different and he's shocked to learn Cybertron is in ruins.

He also can't shake a feeling of wrongness. Even though he wore an Autobot badge there was something about it that felt wrong. He also felt a strange kinship with the Decepticons and found himself struggling to fight them because he didn't want to hurt them.

Then the wreckers go to Earth and during his first battle, Megatron and Soundwave stare at him in shock. He gives them a confused look especially when an excited Bat minicon flys over crying out in happiness for his carrier. He has no idea who any of them are and both Megatron and Soundwave look crushed but they vow to help him remember again.

You can leave stories in my inbox any time you’d like. This is a beautiful idea and something i can let my mind think over.

Hey, Carpenter! Man, I’ve been so busy these past few cycles.. Soundwave and I have been hanging out a lot recently (totally not because I decided to confess my undying passionate love for him and stuff..), if that makes a reason why. And it’s also because of his cassettes. Those kids are a handful! Is this how Bee feels? Huh… anyway, how’s life going? Are your parents doing alright?

Things that I believe happened post cyberverse season finale

Shadow striker and Hot Rod become best friends.

Hot Rod and Shadow Striker have shared custody over Laserbeak.

Hot Rod tells Shadow Striker that he developed feelings of Soundwave.

Shadow Striker tolerates Hot Rod’s hugs.

Soundwave it’s actually dead but is stuck in another dimension.

Soundwave trying to get back home without letting tarn escape the dimension they are in.

Soundwave reunion with Laserbeak, Shadow Striker and Hot Rod.

Soundwave getting a hug from Hot Rod.

Hot Rod’s confesses his feeling to Soundwave

Hot Rod and Soundwave become a couple.

Soundwave and Hot Rod becoming the leaders of Cyberton.

People celebrating Soundwave’s return and saying his line “Soundwave: superior.”

Hot Rod and Soundwave are both sparklings. Hot Rod has medical wires in his chest that help with his spark and Soundwave is very protective of him. Especially when people are mean to him because of it.

Oh my gosh whoever you are i need more of this!!

Also here have a treat, i hope you enjoy!

- Soundwave as a sparkling goes right up to Hot rod And asks him what the wires on his chest are.

- hot rod tells him expecting to be made fun of and Soundwave just tilts his little helm and looks at the wires closely and carefully tugs one free and puts it in the correct spot.

- hot rod has just finished changing his spark reading battery and put a wire in wrong. Mistakes like that could cost him but he’s a sparkling and still learning so its understandable. He usually does well putting everything back in place but today some kids were messing with him and he rushed so he could leave.

- “thank you,” Hot rod smiles after a while of looking astonished and feeling much much better.

- “sparkling: incompetent. Needs: Soundwave in and for life.”

And after that…

soundwave never leaves his side.

As well as Hot rod complaining and arguing with Soundwave about being incompetent. That and showing his outlier by blowing light flames at the tape deck mech.

The two were inseparable.

Through sparklinghood. The beginning of mech hood and Soundwave beat up the bot who tried to take him on a date.

To the day they conjunxed two million years before the war broke out.

And even then…on opposing sides, Soundwave never left Hot rod.

And Rodimus never left Soundwave.
