I need some writing advice

So, I've been having a problem, I have a TON of OCs, and I'm a writer. However, I've never really finished any of their respective stories or arcs and I now want them all in one story, rather than all these seperate stories

How would one go about this? I want to use all my OCs, entirely self-made alongside fan characters. For example, my Full Metal Alchemist turned Danganronpa oc alongside a fucking wolf who is the GOD OF THE MOON.

I forgot if I was tagged or I just saw this and decided I was in the mood to answer questions so copied it and poked it in my drafts for some reason. Now it's being published. 1.What’s your favourite sims death?

I don't have a favorite type but I guess my favorites death of one of my sims was in an alternate timeline when Adriana Cosgrove just had a baby, was exhausted, starving and tried to make some toaster pastries and caught the kitchen on fire and I wasn't quite sure if she died from burning or starvation. That save borked so I had to back up three months before when she was alive and she avoided that fate and is now an elder, and went on to have a third child.

2. Alpha CC or Maxis Match?

A healthy mix. I tend to lean more toward Alpha in Skin, Eyes, and Hairs. Clothes I can do either, furniture I tend to go for either as well.

3. Do you cheat when your sims gain weight?

No, I make them use the gym. I downloaded those gyms for a reason. I'm going to use them damn it!

4. Do you use move objects?

Always.

5. Favorite mod?

The Sim Blender is quantifiably my favorite for how much I use it.

6. First expansion/game/stuff pack you got?

Nightlife! I skipped Uni and bought NL for my sister (and also for me)

7. Do you pronounce “live mode” like aLIVE or LIVing?

aLIVE mode.

8. Who’s your favorite sim that you’ve made?

Fuck, 16 years later I probably have at least a top five that switches around every month. Let's say Amelia Calhoun (formerly Wellington) I have a ton of pictures of her sprinkled throughout this blog over the years. She's obsessed with the ocean.

9. Have you made a simself?

Of course, when I first started out playing. Who hasn't?

10. What sim traits do you give yourself?

None. I don't play with Traits.

11. Which is your favorite EA hair color?

Brown, I guess. EAxis hair colors I really don't like or use but if I have to it would be the brown as it doesn't stick out as much.

12. Favorite EA hair?

The shaggy male hair that was the epitome of 'cool' and 'hot' in 2005

13. Favorite life stage?

Teen probably. Mostly for that's when their characters start really emerging for me as a player. Functionally, I think an adult is my favorite age stage.

14. Are you a builder or are you in it for the gameplay?

I'm a player/sotryteller first and foremost but I get into building kicks.

15. Are you a CC creator?

I've made it before. Will probably make some again.

16. Do you have any simblr friends/a sim squad?

I'm friendly with a lot of simmers on simblr, and interact with them in other sims areas on the internet like Discord, the FB group, or Twitch and Twitter.

17. What’s your favorite game? (1, 2, 3, or 4)

Sims 2 unequivocally. There is only room for 2 in my life.

18. Do you have any sims merch?

Nope.

19. Do you have a YouTube for sims?

Yes. It's all I do on my youtube.

It's gotten a lot more...detailed? I tend to like plan and play out scenarios

There are so many and so many are extra super talented I feel like I would slight someone if I stated only one.

Since 2012.

25. What expansion/game/stuff pack do you want next?

Sims 2 shall have none. My next hope for a modding breakthrough is choosing seasonal casual clothing so that the game will show a sim on the lot in their seasonally appropriate casual wear. Good for places with different climates because who wants to see someone in long sleeves who lives in a temperate subhood, in the summery desert?

Seasons, probably.

random ofmd thought: I love that Stede is so cringe.

He's just. Awkward. Ridiculous. Unapologetically weird at all times and he never gets any cooler. Every episode has at least one Stede moment that causes me physical pain and I love that.

Because usually, if a character is this embarrassing, their arc is about learning to be less so, to be like anyone else, to be more normal, and Stede never does. He learns to be more confident, yes, but he never stops unapologetically being his awkward self, and that's so good to see? He's fine the way he is? He doesn't have to become less himself, he just has to learn how to own it better and that's so healing to see

A brief conversation I had with @mikimeiko on their lovely meta about the motive of loss and abandonment made me think about miscommunication some more, and how horrible Calico Jack was to Stede.

When Stede meets Calico Jack for the first time this is what he says to him:

Who's the big gal?

Off to a terrible start, and it only goes downhill from there.

As others have pointed out, this is a very mean thing to say in general and absolutely unacceptable to say to a queer man in particular, and Ed knows that. He's trying to do damage control

My #1 post of 2022

oh but I adore how everyone in this stupid pirate show is just a guy

I haven't seen ppl talk about it much but. the absolute lack of shredded abs. people show tummy and cleavage and there's not the barest hint of muscle definition anywhere

obviously some of them are very fit but it never leaves "works a physically demanding job and happens to be naturally thin" territory

and guys are fat! guys have bellies and rounded shoulders and chubby cheeks and imperfect teeth and thinning hair and are styled weirdly (that's a whole different post but the crew especially look so unprofessional styled it's great)

and they are still all hot! they are hot and desirable and find each other hot and desirable and I love that

I love to see it! nobody in this show looks like they had a personal trainer. and not just the side characters, not just a token fat guy - obv Taika Waititi is the most beautiful man you've ever seen and that little bit of tummy pudge spilling out of his crop top made us all lose our collective minds. but it's everyone else too; and it's not the extend of it either. no other show would have let black pete within 10 feet of a romance arc, much less been this sweet and sincere about it

this show is so comfortable with the human body in all it's glorious imperfection and I am in love with it

2 Stories

See as we all can see that no one have time to enjoy their life, everyone is busy making money or setting up their business or securing their future or such other thing’s. Now in my today’s blog I will tell you and will make a comparison between life’s of 2 different person’s, and I am sure that you yourself will found that which one is the better option for you and which one is not. As in my previous blog I have choose 2 names which were Joe and the 2nd name was of Steve. In today’s blog I am again going to use their names too. I have actually gone through the life’s of such persons about whom I am going to talk about. It’s just that I don’t want to reveal their real names so that’s why I am choosing the names Joe and Steve. So let’s get started. Firstly I am going to talk about Joe, he is a kind of person who is good in studies. He got good grades in his 10th class and even in his 12th class. He got admission in the best college of the city in which he was living. He was a person who believes in hard work is the key to success. He works hard all day, he studies 15 hours a day. He never use to go out with his friends, whenever his friends ask to for outing he refuses everytime and gives a reason that he has a lot of pending study work and he have to study for his exams. On the other hand his parents were happy because he was good in studies and got good grades every year. And they were like free from all those question’s that will his child get a job in future or not, and I think that they should also be. They were free from all these question’s because Joe was good in studies and they were thinking that they don’t have to worry about this thing. But do you know that Joe was a average student, he is average in his studies. He was going many different tuition’s in his 10th, 12th and even in his graduation studies also. He never tried to go for outing with his friends because he was thinking that if he goes out he will get no time for study because as being an average student he need to make more time for his studies , not like other student’s who were spending just 3-4 hours in their studies daily and getting good grades even better than Joe. Joe became a depression patient. This depression was killing him daily. On the other hand there was Steve, he was also good in studies , he also got good grades in his 10th and 12th class. He uses to spend 3-4 hours a day for his studies till his 12th class and after that in his graduation period he studied when only the exams are near. He used to spend time with his friends and family, he use to go for outing on a weekly basis. He was not depressed by any means. You all must be thinking that this is the ending of the blog, but no my friend it’s not the end yet. There is a lot of thing’s which I have to told you about Joe and Steve. But I would like to ask you first that what could be the reason’s of Joe’s depression? You all must share your views on this. Let’s see who can guess the real reason behind Joe’s depression. Beware Of Baker

I come out of the grocery and squint my eyes in the rough Arizona sunlight, looking for my car. The air moves in waves as people slowly make their way around.

“Eliza, remind me again why anyone is dumb enough to go out, at noon, in the dead of summer, in Tucson, Arizona.” My best friend Maya whined next to me. She had tagged along on my errands with me because she had nothing better to do.

“Maya, remind me why I’m still in Tucson after all these years?” I griped back, adjusting the huge load of bags on my arms and reaching into my Backpack for my sunglasses, which had gone mysteriously missing. Again. I sighed and gave up. My Backpack could be lived out of on any occasion, unless you needed something conventional or used daily, like a pen, or sunglasses. Interestingly enough these things tended to reappear when you no longer needed it, or bought a new one. This was the explanation I gave my fiancée every time he got in the car and there were 11 pairs of sunglasses.

“You have no back bone when it comes to Robby?” She offered. I shifted my weight and threw my foot into the back of her knee. She grunted and stumbled, but didn’t go down as I had hoped she would. I kicked her because I hated being reminded that I had come back to the city I grew up in, and hated, because of the love of my life. Don’t get me wrong, Tucson is great if that’s where you want to be, very family oriented, great Mexican food, but there’s one rule. If you haven’t gotten out by the time you’re 18, you’re stuck. If you come back to live, after 18, you aren’t going to leave. ESPECIALLY if you have family nearby. For me, I had the luck of falling for a guy who travelled for living. A food critic. So when he got a break he stayed with his mom. I’m a sucker for romance, so I stayed too. Thinking he would take me with him on his next adventure. What a joke. He took off, travelling the world with his manager, who he kept swearing would get him a TV show and we’d be rich, and beautiful women who were about 150 pounds lighter than me. You see where I’m going with this. I caught sight of myself in a car window as we walked by, looking for mine. I stood 6 foot tall, which made my 253 pounds look like it was curve versus pudge. My boring brown hair currently had bright green strips in it, and was still curly from a wine and dine event I had attended a week ago.

Eliza attended a local fundraising event to pitch her idea for a bakery/deli. She hasn’t washed her hair yet.

Hey Mr. Narrator man, who’s telling this story?

I rolled my eyes. I had a bad habit of hearing voices in my head, probably from reading too much as a child. I caught up to Maya, who had trudged ahead while I ogled myself, and reached into my Backpack for my key clicker. After a small panic when I didn’t immediately find it in its regular spot, I pulled it out and opened the trunk of my Kia Soul. On the count of three Maya and I both lifted our armloads into the trunk at the same time.

“What the hell is in all these bags anyway?” She asked, pulling a soda out of her purse and taking a huge drink. I watched her, my throat burning as if to remind me of my jealousy.

“weren’t you paying any attention?”

“Do I ever?” She replied, handing me the bottle and going to around to her door while I closed the trunk. Gulping down the rest of the soda, only sparing a moment to think of my diet, I came around to the front and unlocked the car so we could get in. Maya and I opened our doors and stood for a moment, letting the hot air flow out before we got in.
