Life is not too different than handling resin. Sometimes you have resin (or a situation) that looks great but no amount of manipulation can coax it to proceed as you desire. - no melt Sometimes situations just fall into place and everything's is gravy with no need for pushing and pulling. #fullmelt And sometimes a situation just need a little bit more time effort and love to give you exactly what you want. - delayed gratification that is oh so worth it. Experience grants wisdom to know what is, is not, and is not YET. ***NOTE, pressing Hashish does not make it more or less melty initially. These are the main steps I take to make my temple balls: 1. I focus on pressing thoroughly.  Once I feel like the resin has been melted through-and-through; that is, that the resin is very pliable, not brittle and in no way powdery, then I will roll it into a cannoli.  2. I then fold the resin into itself to begin making it into a dense cube. I really squish the resin as hard as possible because I want absolutely no air to be left inside the temple wall. 3. Once I feel like it is a dense as it is going to get, I began to roll. 4. I roll very quickly, aiming for balance on all sides.   Lumpy and lopsided templeballs won't do. 5.  ...and then I'm done. #FBF to one of the many golden templeballs I have made over the last four years. I really like the precision ...and care necessary to wash resin cleanly and efficiently. Watching the machine, listening to the subtle changes in sound as ice melts, peering at the water to detect green...all of that is fun. BUT nothing is as engrossing as pressing.
