you heard a growl and whimpered.

“oh god please don’t hurt me.” you squeaked. the bushes rustled, and something took a step out. you screamed, throwing your flashlight.

“ah- ow!” a deep voice exclaimed.

“oh god oh my god please don’t kill me please! i’ll- i’ll hurt you i’ll choke you with a tampon!” you yowled, switching from begging sadness to fiery threats.

“of course you scared her.” a deeper voice called from behind her and you whirled around, falling on your ass as you squealed. the flashlight that had fallen on the ground shined brightly on the two figures, revealing two men.

the second man was big, burly with large muscular arms and a broad chest. he had short brown hair that was tinted with what seemed to be the color of moss, and there were a few small flowers in his hair. his eyes were olive green and his face was straight and square. he was so geometric. he had dark floppy ears on his head as well as large horns that had vines and other herbs hanging from them, seemingly tangled in them. they both glared at each other, and then looked down at you. the one with the black hair sighed, the hand that was rubbing his head moved to reach out to you.

“i’m sorry for scaring you, i didn’t mean to. i just saw you were panicked and i wanted to help. i’m sakusa.” he said, his white ears pinned to his head as his face flushed pink.

you took his hand, standing up, still silent in shock. the other man huffed, dragging his foot against the ground.

“i’m ushijima. i also came to help. you’re lost.” he said, the last part wasn’t really a question, it was a statement. that’s when you found your voice again.

Was it a smart idea to watch a movie?

Yeah, it’s a long boring train ride.  Passing fields get boring after like five minutes.  Especially after one has seen it a few times.  So yeah, watching a movie was a good idea.

Was watching a horror thriller movie a good idea?

That was questionable.  Nick can stand more horror movies that didn’t have the supernatural involved.  So yeah watching mammals run away from killers or work to survive a crazy trap, was not a a bad idea.  

But it’s not a great idea when going to a small farming town.

Was it a good idea to watch Get Out?

No.

That was a terrible idea. 

It was worse than terrible.

It was indescribably a bad idea.

As Nick realized when he got over the train and was greeted by the Hopps Hoard.

It wasn’t so much the fact that he thought they were going to still his body.  Or Judy was setting him up before hunting for a new someone to snatch up.  He’s been the Hopps house countless times before, they’ve never even tried anything like, nor would they ever.  To genuinely nice and country-like to even like consider the option.

But still.

Get off the train and seeing a hoard of prey animals beaming at him, the sole predator.  Especially after the movie.  It was suddenly a lot more nerve wrecking than usual.

It didn’t help when an older rabbit commented about Nick’s eyes and a fox night vision.

Putting Chicken Little in Mid instead of Shit is my hot take- a Disney animated tier list

Was talking about this shit with some mates and I had my laptop about with a blank page so why the FUCK not. It’s my blog, I make the fucking rules.

For the purpose of this tier list, Pixar does not exist. It’s fake news. Buzz Lightyear fucking who?

(see now I’ve gone after both dreamworks *and* Disney, you cant complain I’m biased)

First of all: the tier of things I haven’t seen and have no intention to do so. The absolutely fucking not tier.

A bunch of the old ones that no-one remembers are on here. Considering nobody talks about them, and they’re fucking Disney, how good could they possibly be? In addition to that, we have Frozen, something I considered watching at the time, and then it got huge, and I just got sick to death of fucking seeing it everywhere. It’s a universality poison, an oversaturation complex, and I absolutely have no interest in seeing us build a snowman. Can people please let this movie go already? (I think I’m very funny). Also, Dinosaur looks fucking awful (y’all know Land Before Time already existed right), and the trailers for Ralph Breaks the Internet did too. Which is a real shame, because the first one slaps. Wait that’s spoilers FUCK

Anyway next is the ones I haven’t seen but could possibly be convinced to.

The classics I haven’t seen live here. But it’s one of those things where like, am I gonna go out of my way for this? Am I deadass gonna go sit my ass down and watch fucking Sleeping Beauty as a 22+ year old bloke? Not unless someone drags me into it. I could be more easily convinced for like, Aristocats or Great Mouse Detective, because cute animals good, but you don’t have the same easy in for Aladdin or Princess and the Frog. Also, Tangled and Moana are there because like, I really cannot be bothered watching those, not my kinda jam, but if I put them in the fuck no category certain friends of mine would be quite upset.

Next is Shit Tier! Shit Tier has one member.

Home on the Range was. A movie. A lot of the time when you talk about the really bad movies, what gets brought up is a bad film (or other property) that’s just the sheer absence of good. And that is what I have to say to describe Home on the Range. A deathknell for Disney’s 2D animated division, and honestly American 2D animation as a whole. I don’t know how the fuck Princess and the Frog got made after this, because this movie was just genuinely devoid of anything memorable or entertaining. Man, it’s just cows.

The Bad tier has a lot more of the “absence of good” style- like, Cinderella isn’t atrocious, but what does it actually have going for it? I genuinely don’t remember. I only have vague memories of the Black Cauldron, but I believe the general consensus is that its Not Good. Pocahontas and Tarzan are messy and not in the fun way, and the Jungle Book is something I found exceptionally annoying as a kid. Probably because my brother likes it, nothing he likes is ever good (love you bro).

Mid tier is mostly just shit I don’t really care about one way or the other. Like, Beauty and the Beast is fiiiiiiine. I gueeesss.  I don’t particularly care for Lion King either way, and please attempt to name a single thing that happened in Bambi after the mum got shot. One thing. I suppose I should attempt to explain my having Chicken Little here, even though everyone understands it’s a bad movie. And yeah, it is, but this is my Nostalgia Pick. I’m allowed one of those. I really loved that movie as a kid, And I don’t know why, I have no justification for this. It’s not that bad, surely. I refuse to watch it again to find out.

Also The Rescuers is pretty ok? I think? I remember very little about it. But The Rescuers Down Under has a motherfucking Goanna as the villain’s pet and she’s gorgeous. Movie aint great apart from that but the goanna gets it a whole bunch of bonus points.

Finally, some good fucking film.

Okay, let’s run this one down the list. Big Hero 6 was pretty good? I watched most of it on the plane, but I never finished is and I sure haven’t been assed to fix that yet. Wreck-it-Ralph was honestly really good, and the retro game shit was a direct target square at my face. Not top tier, but extremely solid. Hercules was a beautiful disaster, and Robin Hood was a disastrous beauty (and too many folks’ furry awakening for me to be comfortable with it (says the Pokemon fan))

Hunchback is genuinely quite good, athought you really need to skip past the gargoyle bits to get the best out of it. Zootopia gets a lot of credit, goes on top tier for a lot folks, but not for me- controversial opinion, but the second half was too heavyhanded for my taste. Like, I get that you had to hammer in that metaphor for the kids, but it really did it too hard for me. Also, they really made the villain a sheep, huh. Rude.

Alice in Wonderland is a beautiful creative classic with a healthy dollop of creepy, and I have too much nostalgia for Winnie the Pooh to put it any lower than this. Fox and the Hound and Mulan are the good shit, and I don’t have much more of a comment than that.

Finally, the top tier! Good movies allowed only.

You may notice that all these movies come from that era in the 90s where they actually let the creative minds behind the 2D animation team at Disney make the things they want to? And they cranked out the best 4 movies in the entire list. Like, goddamn. Treasure Planet is a fun as fuck adventure movie that’s criminally underrated and looks gorgeous, and Atlantis is just a more refined version of such (but I’m not quite as nostalgic for that one, sorry, also the second one exists). Emperor’s New Groove is just, such an incredible comedy flick, holy shit, they really did the nonstandard plot framing and fourth wall humour in this one, and they did it well. And Lilo and Stitch is, again, a perfect movie. I never know what to say about those. It’s so much less interesting to talk about things that don’t have flaws compared to something that does. It’s a perf fuckin film, fam.

And uhh, that’s the lot of them. Okay, that’s all the time I’ve got. I’ve got to get back to watching Shrek the Third on my friend’s TV.

anon it’s like you read my mind,,,  I was also making a post regarding this so might as well just put it here. 

The confrontational scene when Tony got back from space was great, really great, it was such a performance on Robert’s part and as Tony fan I feel vindicated because he finally got to say what we’ve been saying the whole time. But the thing is while it was great to have Tony just spelled out how he felt in front of everyone but the movie lacks the acknowledgement from the others? (apart from worried!Rhodey who was like, okay Tony, just sit down a bit, you made your point.) From the beginning to the end, it was just a one-side confrontation, and Tony ended it himself with him passing out after the outburst. It was a great moment and I wouldn’t change how that scene was played out, but it kept me waiting for the response from Steve, and it never came. Steve never sought out Tony after that and have a conversation about what had happened between them. We never get any real resolution regarding their fallout in the movie.

Marvel purposefully set up the tension between Steve and Tony from the very first Avengers movie, and then carried on to highlight their differences in AoU, and then broke them up in Civil War, and then the Russos kept saying the reason why the Avengers failed in IW was because Steve and Tony were apart. So having that all built up and into Endgame, you would expect them to have a heart-to-heart conversation about all that had happened between them, an apology, an understanding, an acknowledgement, from the both of them. Instead we get a 5 year time jump and then when Steve sought Tony out was for business and you can clearly see that the tension between them accumulated from all those years was still there. It can be assumed that they hadn’t properly resolve anything. And then later Tony just decided he was over it and put aside the any hard feelings and gave Steve back the shield. Like @kayytx had said they always made Tony too forgiving and Steve never ever had to say or do anything to earn Tony’s friendship and trust back. To me it almost feels like as if the writers think oh it was just Tony being dramatic and they’d be fine once Tony was done being angry and Steve didn’t have to prove or say anything and everything will go back to how things were! The movie never had Steve to address the elephant in the room on his part, and just like that we’re supposed to accept the resolution between them when nothing had actually been said or done in order to resolve.

The little time travel trip was fun and it was nice to see them enjoy each other’s company but to me that was the highlight of their relationship interaction in this movie, we never get any deeper and more sincere emotions from Steve other than answering Tony that yes he trusted him. (Notice how even that was a question asked by Tony.) Even after Tony’s death, we didn’t get anything said from Steve in memory of him that could be an emotional payoff of their friendship that had been explored in all the previous movies. Endgame is the movie they promised closure from Civil War - a movie that they deliberately set to break them up so to pay off in later movies, but I don’t see this promise delivered? If they’re gonna end it the way the movie is ended, with no real resolution from both sides, then what’s the point to have the drama from civil war in the first place?? Seeing them being buddies again in that time travel trip was not enough, some ‘silent understanding’ and body language between the two of them was not enough, because that’s just subtext, Steve owed it to Tony to explicitly say it in his words, even as simple as  ‘Listen… Tony I’m sorry about what happened’ I’m not asking him to apologise for his choice in civil war, I’m not expecting an apology as sincere as the one in Zootopia when Judy apologised to Nick, I’m just asking him to explicitly say his regret as a friend who had lied to a friend and had literally broke his friend’s heart. Like yeah you may say that Steve felt that way from his expression but Tony deserved to hear it from him. A thank, an apology, an acknowledgement, anything but no. He got none, we got nothing.

It’s been a habit of the Russos and the writers, throughout all the movies, there barely has any recognition, acknowledgement or gratitude explicitly said to or about Tony from the Avengers (excluding the Iron fam because they do let him know). They always just let Tony or Tony’s action to speak for itself, and then it’s up to audience interpretation, and while I appreciated that they give Tony a voice, he rarely gets any support and acknowledgement in-universe from his teammates. Tony is always the one who gives and forgives, when shit happens that somehow related to him he’d get all the blame and the Avengers and others wouldn’t hesitate to remind him; when he saves the day and provides them with what they need, how many ever express their thanks and appreciation to him in person over the years? Yeah you can say not everything needs to be said, but it would be nice for once someone from the team actually say something nice to him, appreciate his effort, but I suppose it’s all too late now.

adam quinn blue was born august 4 in an austin, texas hospital. he has a lil bit of an accent that comes out reaL BAD when he’s drunk LMAO. when it slips while sober he gets all embarrassed.

his zodiac sign is a leo, and he is leo a F i stg.

he lived in austin all his life with his fam which consisted of his parents and younger sisters, who are twins.

his family always struggled financially; his father worked as a mechanic, which brought in most of the money, tho it wasn’t a lot, and his mother failed to keep a job for very long without tiring of it. it didn’t help that they lived in a big, more expensive home. all their money went to bills, leaving little extra for basic needs.

this led to adam taking up odd jobs starting from thirteen, earning a lil money, which he spent on his siblings.

while in high school, he joined the school play of peter pan as a freshman on a dare from his friends, not expecting to actually earn one of the lead roles. it was while working on the play that he discovered his love for acting.

his father didn’t like the fact that his only son had joined a school play, expecting him to do Manly Things(TM) like football or whatever. it was after adam received the part that his father started acting differently towards him, soon leading to verbal abuse.

adam always attempted to make his father proud, but no matter what he did, he always felt like a failure. it was the beginning of junior year that his parents divorced, as they always fought over him. this resulted in his father moving out, and they haven’t spoken, since.

his mother lost the house, and they moved to a smaller trailer where his sisters shared a room w his mom. he started dealing drugs at this time in order to help with the payments, lying to his fam about it.

acting was always therapeutic to him, and he worked hard to do the best he could, soon becoming one of the better actors in the school. he appeared in a couple commercials.

he almost got caught dealing drugs when he was eighteen and close to graduating, but, in fear of what’d happen to him, he ended up framing one of his closest friends, sending him off to jail. it’s then he began fading from the drug trading, deciding it wasn’t for him lmAO. buT he still has regrets about that and hasn’t told anyone.

after graduation, there were open auditions for a big action movie, and he hit that tf uP, ending up getting the lead role. this is where his stardom began, and he was able to move out of his home with the earnings. soon, from a couple other movies, he was able to move his fam somewhere nicer.

he decided to audition for preston bc he felt a lil bit of a connection w the character, and he’s pumPED to have the part.

okAY SO more about his personality: he is supER family oriented, and if anyone messes w them he,,, gets a liL upset.

he has a v carefree attitude and lowkey wings everything?? he’s just kinda like “whatever!!! :~)” 24/7.

he also knows he’s a good actor and,,, his ego’s a lil inflated bc of it. he kinda thinks he’s better than some people smdh.

adam is a super lively guy and has a more optimistic attitude?? he enjoys being around people and isn’t fond of being by himself aka an extreme extrovert. HE PARTIES HARD and wakes up w too many hangovers. tho he?? doesn’t do the Hardcore Drugs. he’s all into weed tho.

he’s the kind of guy to get drunk thirty minutes in. alsO he’s,,,, a weird drunk like his mood swings a lot and are vvv extreme.

adam doesn’t mind having enemies and?? kindA eggs them on lmAO he’s so lowkey messy smdh. also he likes getting revenge on people whether it be fr or just around set. he’s asking to get punched rip.

he’s not really interested in love rn?? liKE he’ll do plenty of one night stands, but as for finding someone, he’s like kinda :/// about it.
