I am asking this only because I am genuinely curious-

You go back in time and somehow you get to change three things about Halo, be that narrative, stylization, or gameplay.

Oh narrative right away. There's so many timelines we could do and stylization/gameplay has been talked to death already. I like the classic look and when the marines look more like Aliens(1986) rather than modern bootboys, but I also like what they're doing in the newer era. Narrative though, what if there was story in out video games. What if they did go Evil Cortana like they planned for CE? What if Halo 5 didn't just end there? What if they committed to telling stories in the universe they built?

ODST is a beloved favorite and does not have Chief in it. Reach showed them that bitches love their OCs and some rando schmucks. I'm the annoying fan who won't show up about Spartan Ops and Infinity Command. There's a fan for every side character. TLDR - give me enough time and I will come around/ find positives about any and every halo game, I am cursed to want to replay the campaigns annually. As much as I critique Halo, I love it, I comment because I want more of it because its insane.
