The only way I can logic Phoenix putting himself in an insane life or death situation like he did in the Foreign Turnabout is if he absolutely knew he was going to win. Like got cocky with his ability, luck, win record, etc.

Obviously, there are other situations where I believe he would put his life in danger for the people he loves (see: bridge to the turnabout) but that is SO different.

Maybe I’m just overthinking this whole thing or maybe I’m suffering insane Phoenix Wright Brainrot or both but my GOD this is a frustrating case to play
