Let's seeeeee. I haven't really thought of them as much outside like. My ocs who would fit into that category, but you know, I claim to love all the swsh characters so might as well start yappin'.

Melony: I kinda already alluded to it but I believe this woman is Divorced. Gordie's dad is Not his younger sibling's dad. She got remarried and eventually had the rest of her children ( of all Gordie's siblings, his sister honestly looks the least like not only Gordie, but also Melony. So my guess is that she took more from her father. Like even Gordie with his hair down doesn't have that same shape in hair. Ahem anyway).

Melony and Mira have "dated" in the past! They had that classic homoerotic rivalry.... except it wasn't exactly very healthy. I say "dating" bc they only really met up a few times Mira's parents even allowed them to. Melony was a trainer they wanted Mira to test her skills against. I dunno if Melony 's family was rich, or gym leaders, or if Melony was simply a very talented trainer that caught their eye. Regardless, they would use melony for Mira's training. I wish I could tell you exactly how relationship was and the reasons why I thought it wasn't healthy but I don't have much clear cut ideas outside of vibes and how I think a young Melony and Mira would act. In the present though they're fine. Friends even, though sometimes it's hard to tell.

Kabu: Kabu! My guy! I love him. Very much the dad of the league. Is pretty stoic in his presentation but honestly is just happy to be there. Love's a good dad joke, even if he doesn't get it at first. He's overall a rather positive, wise person. I think he has a genuine love for learning from others, even all the way back when he felt himself burning out.

His relationship with Nessa and Milo is something special too. I think Nessa and Milo's parents are overall fine parents, but with the league how it is, it must be daunting to be a child that takes over a gym position. Even those who did the gym challenge! So he kinda takes it upon himself to look after them, make sure they're comfortable, etc etc. Milo was more appreciative of this than Nessa at first lol. But over time she came around, and it's how the three became so close today! This trend of looking after the younger members honestly! Bea, Allister, Raihan and Piers when they were younger. I saw this as if Melony wasn't like this,she is! Sorry Melony, I was consumed by your toxic yuri with Wyrmira to really delve into how you treat the younger ones in the league.

I haven't fully thought out like. What's his family is like all the way back in Hoenn. I adore the Flannery is his niece hc but god, if I have to make another fucking family tree, I will explode. As if I'm not gonna try and do that anyway. ANYWAY. I could go several routes ( excluding the Flannery one for now). Maybe he isn't in contact with his family back in Hoenn. Maybe he is, but doesn't get the chance to meet them often. I can't help but wonder how much he misses his home, especially back when he first arrived in Galar. Honestly???? I can't help but feel like the reason he wants Peony to come back to the league, even if it was said as a joke, is bc Peony probably made him feel the most welcome. I know that was a sudden shift, but I did want to say I think Peony made Kabu feel welcomed. One outcast to another.

Okay last one bc I am losing steaaaaaam. Opal!!!!!

Opal has been around the league for a long. Long. Long time. Some rumor that she's been around the leagues creation, being a fae, but she will neither confirm nor deny that. Even in her old shey, I do think she was able to put fear into Rose- enough for him to not cross her in any way. That doesn't exactly mean she has absolute power over him, it just means he knows not to cross her. Especially since she's been in the league for so long. She watched people come and go, watched the league morph and change right before her eyes. But she has always persisted, watching with her critical eye. I like to think people have tried to become her successor, or even the league trying to force her out, but nah. She ain't movin' until she finds the perfect successor.

She knows Glimwood Tangle like the back of her palm. She understands its magic, the way it functions, and thus can traverse as easily as 1,2,3. Even in her old age lol.

Oh, and I had this funny hc that her and Legendverse! Diantha aren't related at all, but Opal loves to joke that they are. Would jokingly call Diantha her granddaughter lololol. They have probably met once or twice, given Diantha's acting career and Opal's love for the theatre ( as a former theatre actress herself). Sadly, Diantha simply isn't pink enough to be her successor (lol).

Maki has one of those funny backpacks in bright colors, a ton of pockets and a couple transparent windows to put fandom stuff into. Which she does! She always has some fandom/manga/cartoon merch showing off in there, as well as as many keychains as possible. Unfortunately at some point people at Miyaji got annoyed with her colourful backpack and told her to "clean it up", so no more merch at school. Boo. She still has it and puts it back on after school for her commute, but it's more lame this way.

She also has a "surprisingly normal" phone case & no stickers, but puts a morbid amount of those on her violin case. You'd expect Karin to protest that but she actually doesn't really care. "A case is just a case, as long as you don't put those on the actual instrument."

Karin herself has one of these leather satchel bags that look very fancy but don't really hold much, like this:

It's dark blue in color and is in the same condition it was on buying. Karin never customises anything because that would ruin her Serious Image, you see. As well as having just a default phone background. The only thing she even bothered customising is adding a profile picture on Nightcord & most group chats, because everyone deserves to see her pretty face.

Kairi has something similar except his shoulder bag is a little bigger and less pretentious, big enough to fit his laptop. He also never customises stuff, but more out of having nothing to say than dislike of doing so. His laptop has a ton of stickers on it, though; mostly just aesthetic photos or paintings. You know that one girl whose laptop is covered in Van Gogh stickers? Kairi's the one. He also is the only one of the group to not carry an instrument case, so whenever they're traveling as a group, his nice bag helps him create an illusion of Hey I'm Doing Something (he only carries his music). His phone background? Kitty. Default profile picture everywhere. He's not even here.

Suzuka probably has one of the brand, 16' or more backpacks, because she's an overpacker and needs to have Everything with her. It almost looks like her backpack is bigger than she is. If you look close enough, you can notice she has a couple supposedly matching keychains on there (nobody from the group matches though?), but nothing outright eye-catching. Just like, normal stuff. It's what's inside that matters, because aside from textbooks she has a fully stuffed first aid kit, weekly amount of snacks, unfinished crochet project & spare clothes. Why is she like this. She will literally never use those. And how is she strong enough to carry that thing. She also never lets anyone see her phone picture. Look Away please!!

Akari has one of those black "urban backpacks" with a roll-top that looks like It's Seen Stuff, and it has indeed seen stuff. It's covered in scratches, cat fur, tears and washed out spots. Akari doesn't care much because it does its role well enough & she things it's cute, but Reishi tries to convince her to get a new one on weekly. Hasn't changed her profile picture since middle school anywhere. Her phone background is a picture of her and Megumi, thought you'd not be able to tell right off the bat (blurry!)

Reishi himself has a normal, minimalist canvas backpack, something neutral in color. It has a couple key chains, like a treble clef on a chain, but nothing else of note. Just completely neutral stuff that doesn't stand out. It looks neat and tidy but is also noticeably not new; there are some repairs here and there if you look close enough. He has a flute case that is lovingly nicknamed The Noodle by Maki, because like, look at this thing.

Why is it so long. Deeply unserious behaviour as far as Maki's concerned. His phone background is a photo of a sunset he took himself, but he has no profile picture anywhere.

my papyrus thought at this moment: if he went camping it would be cute if he slept in a sleeping bag with a doggy pillow on it. like this but white and with the annoying dog's face instead of a husky (inspired by my kids fighting over who got to sleep in this sleeping bag last night)

I want to draw this sooo badly that's so cute 😭😭😭 you just know his regular sleeping bag went missing and now this just invites that little white fiend to come and keep him trapped in there by falling asleep on his legs even worse than before >=<[[[

It was a snow day. Basil was wondering around when he suddenly heard a thump, from somewhere not so further away from when he was at in that moment. It sounded faint but loud enough from him to hear it fairly good, atleast it seemed. Well, being the curious kid he was je most likely decided to go check it out, didnt he?

Laid on the floor was a woman, not much taller than 155cms. She had blonde messy and puffy medium hair, she was wearing a dress, a warm snow days dress, that was red and purple and it was all around the floor, it seemed... Probably because of the fall. The woman had a light dark skin, her hands visible had small scratched on alongside her glooves and a visible silver ring on her lect hand. Aswell a bit ahead of her was.. a crown? It seemed so. Weirdly enough, the woman just remained laid down. Was she unconcious?

Basils eyes widen a little as he takes in the scene, quickly walking over to the woman and kneeling down beside her. She seemed to have passed out there when he heard the noise, but why? Only the woman herself could tell him this so he starts to gently shake her shoulder

"Miss? are you alright? can you hear me?"

Atleast she seems to be breathing, he could tell that much from the cold air. Still, Basil hopes she would wake up quickly, he isn't exactly an expert in first-aid. Despite her warm looking dress it would probably be better for her to get off the cold floor

eddie hates nuts of Any & Every kind but his mom exclusively buys that bread that has nuts in it so he picks them out & gives them to bill (loves nuts), richie has a Minor shakespeare phase following an edited (? forgot the word) production of hamlet where he played rosencrantz so now he has a half read The Complete Works of Shakespeare somewhere in his room that he hasn’t touched in 3 years, ben actually doesnt like poetry all that much, one year bill dressed up as Specifically a character from one of his stories for halloween but only the losers got it (after he explained it), stan collects a bird book from every state he goes to & he has a shelf dedicated to them, ik ive said scrapbooker mike before but ive been thinking about that again recently so mike is a bug scrapbooker, bev cant Really play her keyboard she has in her room because her dad keeps saying he’ll teach her & then he doesnt she knows mary had a little lamb, & then finally for the losers as a whole they all swap pieces of their lunches everyday like richie gives ben his strawberries in return for an orange & then ben gives his strawberries to bill for an apple etc etc. i also think they share a lot like theyll swap halves of sandwiches or just give someone a half of their sandwich

6. Zander LOVED school, while he often had trouble sitting still through class, he loved to learn and he loved just being around people. He really loved math and science classes, he didn’t especially dislike any subjects. He graduated high school, and he planned to go to college. Unfortunately he did not get that chance.

7. He did have lots of friends! He was a very friendly and social child, he’d make friends with anybody he met so growing up he had a wide array of friends, even if he wasn’t really friends with somebody he likely knew them and was friendly with them just because he loved to talk so much lmao. After going missing for several years he kind of loses. A lot of them. Most of them. But he still has his closest childhood friend, he basically grew up with Alondra and she was always waiting for him to come home. They’re still close friends and get along as if he’d never disappeared at all.

8. Zander didn’t grow up with any pets, for some reason I imagine his dad was allergic and he was constantly begging for animals and it just wasn’t gonna happen. He does like animals, especially cats, however now as an adult he is absolutely terrified of dogs, particularly large ones, and he avoids them at all costs. He’s working on getting used to the ones he can’t avoid, he doesn’t want to be afraid of them he just. Can’t help it.

9. Animals do like him! Almost unfortunately given his fear of dogs, they’ll run right up to him with no issues, cats will come and lay on him and just curl up and fall asleep. It’s very sweet. He loves them. He also likes animals that people might think of as “scary”, he doesn’t mind insects or reptiles. He thinks they’re all great.
