Hello !! Do you have thoughts on Rhea :]
yes, i do!! with the caveat that we have such limited information on lovelace's crew, what we do have is almost entirely filtered through her perspective, and we kinda... know rhea the least. as much as i find eris a fascinating character too, i wish we'd heard more of rhea.
which is kind of the first thing: rhea is the only AI character in wolf 359 who doesn't have a voice. (we don't hear hyperion's voice, which is supposedly not integrated yet, but he's not even really treated like a character in the scene he's in. and that's a whole other thing.) for hera in particular, she feels a physical disconnect from the others, but the fact that wolf 359 is audio only makes her an equal presence from the perspective of the audience. (which carries over to the live show, where the other characters may not be able to see her, but the audience can, etc.) rhea's situation is kind of the opposite, where her words can be seen by the others, but the audience can only hear or infer her words via what the others read out loud or respond to.
rhea clearly cares about her fellow crewmates, and seems to get along with lambert in particular. lovelace's log: "and communications officer lambert is... communications officer lambert. so an enormous stick in the mud. [...] i heard that, rhea. you are expressly forbidden from telling him i said that." - a sentiment it's easy to imagine early minkowski expressing about eiffel and hera, for the opposite reason. in a more direct parallel, rhea reassures lambert that he "does a great job"; in bach to the future, hera tells eiffel he's "actually very good at his job." the difference in context highlights their priorities; eiffel and hera are having a heart to heart about worthiness, while rhea really is talking about lambert's job - work is important to him, and most people around him don't respect or appreciate his work. what we can infer about rhea is that she's... well, the kind of person who would be lambert's friend. straightforward, rule-following, and professional.
(even something like "see, rhea? i told you someone read [my reports to command]" indicates that they talk to each other a fair amount, but also serves as a mirror to eiffel's belief no one listens to his logs.)
maybe the most interesting thing to me about rhea is her defense of eris: "it's just the way they programmed her, back off." ... again, the complete opposite of how hera might respond. eiffel tries to "defend" her in a similar way in ep 7 - "you can't really hold that against her; it's just her programming" - and she finds it incredibly insulting. with all of that taken together, with how lovelace, lambert, and rhea are in many ways intentional opposites to minkowski, eiffel, and hera, it really makes me wonder how rhea identifies or perceives herself.
i think hera is functionally human, both in her singular, consistent image of herself, and in her role in the narrative. eris appears human to lovelace, but is clear that it's how she sees "a version of herself." whether that refers to that iteration of eris having multiple versions of herself, or if it refers to all of the iterations of her who exist: either way it's a reflection of the way eris exists, and her acceptance of that. by extension, the fact that we don't encounter rhea in any way other than beeping sounds and implied words on station monitors... kind of says something narratively, i think. going back to her lack of voice, even that level of distance and abstraction takes her further away from 'human' perceptions by the audience, while she's obviously still a full person with her own priorities, perspectives, and opinions. i think it's very interesting to consider she might prefer her state of (lack of physical) existence in a way hera clearly does not.

Damian and the reader get into a argument at work due to him being with Rhea 24/7 and not careing about her. Feelings and ends smut! ?
changed the “at work” part but i hope you enjoy this anyway ❤️
damian priest x reader
likes, comments and reblogs are always appreciated!
‼️angst, a lot of feelings, damian neglecting reader, mention of smut‼️
Tumblr media
all night long
you loved damian, he was your boyfriend.
and you loved rhea too, she was your best friend.
and after the event of summerslam you saw them bonding more than before, you actually didn’t mind, they’ve always been great friends and after suffering from the action of their old team members, you could understand why they were so close.
what you didn’t understand was why damian was taking you for granted and spending more time with rhea.
he trained more with her, everytime you had plans he always brought rhea along, romantic movie nights became horror movies nights and you couldn’t stand it anymore.
it was like damian was treating you both as friends and you didn’t know why, especially since you were his girlfriend and not a normal friend.
but one night in particular made you out of your mind. it made you go crazy.
you were at home, already dressed in your nice and comfy outfit, waiting for damian to pick you up and drive you both to your mom’s birthday party. you were so excited to see all of your family together again and you couldn’t wait for your little cousin to meet damian, he was a huge fan and when you first told him that you were dating he couldn’t believe it until he saw the pictures. so now it was all he talked about.
but damian wasn’t home yet and the party was about to start.
you called him and texted him but with no response.
“fuck it…” you whispered. you weren’t going to miss your mom’s birthday and you sure weren’t going to miss it because of damian. so you took your car and drove all the way downtown to see your mom and family.
everyone noticed the little tension you had. your mom asked you about damian and you simply told her that he was working and he was coming later but you weren’t so sure at this point that he would show up.
you texted him probably 20 times that night but he never replied back.
“oh it’s damian…let me answer” you saw his name popping up on your phone, almost two hours later since the party started.
“where the fuck are you damian? it’s almost ten and you were supposed to be at home by eight…” you shouted-whispered, trying not to catch attention. you slowly dragged yourself into the backyard, out of everyone sight.
“i’m so sorry amor but i don’t think i can make it tonight…” he said, making your heart miss a few beats.
“the fuck are you talking about?” you wanted to scream so loud but you knew you couldn’t “get your ass up here damian, everyone is waiting for you!”
“i’m still at the gym mi amor…” you didn’t even let him finish talking.
“i don’t care! it’s my mom’s birthday and you promised damian…you promised you were going to be there, so get your ass up here now!” you were seeing black.
“i…i don’t think i can make it in time hermosa, i’m still training with rhea and…”
“of course you’re with her” you whispered, your words definitely catching damian’s attention.
“what did you say y/n?” his voice sounded more serious.
“nothing, just stay at the gym and train with her since she’s more important than me anyway, hope you have a good night” and before he could reply you hung up on him.
your mama was really sad when you told her that he wasn’t able to come because of work, but she understood, she had a great bond with damian and she liked him really much so, of course, she was a bit disappointed but she knew damian work was a lot.
in the meantime damian was stunned by your words. you really thought he cared about rhea like that?
“is everything okay dam?” rhea asked him, noticing the look he had on his face.
“yeah…i think y/n’s mad…”
“what did you do to make her mad?” she teased him, earning a chuckle from his lips.
“nothing important…let’s finish this so i can be home in thirty minutes” so he continued his training with rhea while you were trying the best to keep a smile on your face while everyone was celebrating your mom but inside you were breaking.
once the party ended you took your sweet time coming back home. not wanting to see damian, you took the longest route and passed by some of your favorite restaurants and bars, watching the couples inside and wondering if they had the same problems you had or if they were just happily living their relationships.
damian was waiting for you at home. knowing he was mad he wanted to make it up to you so, before coming home, he stopped by and brought you some chocolate and flowers.
when he heard the car outside he knew that he was going to get yelled at but he was ready. what he wasn’t ready to face was you entering the house and ignoring him, pretending he wasn’t there when he tried to talk to you.
“…can you please look at me? i know you’re mad and i’m completely sorry for tonight…but don’t ignore me like this” he followed you when you took out your shoes and placed them in the closet next to the front door. he followed you when you turn off the lights from the living room and went to the bedroom. he followed you because you wouldn’t let him speak and he hated it.
“that’s how i felt when you ignored me damian…” you simply said, trying not to show any emotion.
“i didn’t mean to ignore you…you know…we were training because this weekend we have an important match in berlin, a very important big match and we want to be perfect for that show” he said, his face not showing any emotion.
“oh so my mom’s birthday wasn’t important? i told you weeks ago to take a few hours, not even a full day, just a few hours off of work so you could have gone with me to her birthday! you should have seen everyone’s faces when i told them that my boyfriend completely forgot about her birthday and preferred to train… pretty sure no one likes you anymore” you didn’t mean to be so hard on him, but you were mad and you had every right to be. it’s not what you said to your family, you just told them that he was busy working and couldn’t come but you wanted him to feel at least guilty.
“and i told you i’m so sorry for missing her birthday, i’ll make it up to her but please you have to understand that -…”
“no damian! i don’t have to understand anything! the only thing i want to understand is why my boyfriend is neglecting me! and it’s not only about tonight, it’s about all the other things that used to be ours and now they’re not!” you couldn’t keep your emotions under control and so a few tears fell from your eyes “it’s about the dates you cancelled because rhea needed you, it’s about the movie nights you invited her over when those were our movie nights…it’s about rhea joining us everywhere we go, it’s about you being more at work than home, and when you’re home you don’t even acknowledge my presence…this is what’s about and you probably don’t even realise how bad it hurts…” you turned, not wanting to see him.
he had no idea about the pain he was causing you. he taught that supporting rhea during this difficult time was the best decision but not when you were feeling this way. he didn’t think that bringing rhea everywhere you went was a problem because he knew you were good friends but that was the problem. he didn’t think. he didn’t think about your feelings. he didn’t know what you were feeling because he didn’t have time for you.
and now, you crying because of him was making it worse.
“mariposa…i’m so fucking sorry…i-i had no idea you were feeling like this…” he couldn’t find enough words to express how sorry he was.
“yeah…i shouldn’t be the one to tell you this by the way…but it’s clear you like spending time with her more than me…” you were feeling jealous of your own best friend. the one who just got married. the one who wanted you to be her bridesmaid. but you couldn’t help the feeling of knowing that they were together 24/7 because of their work.
“you think i want her?” no answer from you “you think i want her? answer me y/n…you think i want rhea?” his eyes black, staring at you, staring at your soul.
you knew you were stupid to doubt of damian’s love for you, you knew he loved you and you knew he didn’t think of rhea like that but he had no idea how it felt being neglected by the man you loved “you don’t know how i felt damian…” and it was true, all those dates he missed just because he had to train with her, the movie nights were it was just the two of you, the football games he used to take you alone, you missed the little things that made you happy.
“i told you…i’m so sorry for what happened” damian apologised for the millionth time that night.
“i don’t care if you’re sorry damian! i shouldn’t be the one to remind you that you have a girlfriend waiting for you at home …” he wasn’t even seeing your point of view, he was just mad that you thought that there was something going on between him and rhea.
“we can keep screaming at each other or we can talk about this like two adults” he said, waiting for a response from you.
“i definitely don’t wanna talk tonight. it’s late, i’m tired and i have things to do tomorrow…” you said, stripping down from your clothes and putting your pj on.
“so we are going to bed mad at each other?” he asked, watching every movement that you made.
“i don’t know, i’m definitely not sleeping with you damian tonight. you pick. you take the guest bedroom or i will, i don’t care, i’m just tired…”
damian couldn’t believe his ears “we are not sleeping apart, we talk about this now…”
you sighed “there’s not much to talk about damian. you’ve been neglecting me for weeks and if i didn’t speak you wouldn’t even have noticed it, so, it’s pretty clear to me that i’m not important as you are for me…ask her to keep you company tonight” a tear fell down from your eye but you were quick to wipe it away.
“stop that nonsense y/n! por favor! i messed up, i know that! but stop bringing rhea into this! it’s about me and you…i know i fucked up! i thought i was being a nice friend, i thought that it would have helped her heal from what happened at summerslam…i thought that you didn’t mind having rhea with us all the time because you are great friends but i didn’t think about how you might have felt and that was my fault…that was my mistake and i realise i fucked up…but don’t ever say that i care about rhea more than i care about you because that’s absolutely bullshit!” he didn’t mean to scream but you were the most important person in his life and he couldn’t handle the idea of you thinking so less about your relationship. he loved you with all of his heart.
were you really so blind to doubt about his love for you?
you couldn’t keep your tears inside any longer so you let them fall.
damian opened his big arms for you and gently hugged you, letting you cry all of your tears “i’m so sorry that i made you feel this way y/n…i had no idea how you felt but i promise you, from now on, no more rhea, just us…”
“i don’t mind having her around, she’s my best friend…but you are my boyfriend and, and there are moments where i feel like you just treat me as a friend…there are moments where i want you just for myself…” you cried into his shirt.
he couldn’t find words. he knew he hurt you and the way you were crying told him everything he needed to know “i’m so sorry mi amor…”
“it’s okay i guess…” you mumbled against his chest.
“no it’s not okay…i fucked up and i know that, i’m so sorry i made you feel that way…but at the same time i can’t believe you would even think that i would want rhea the same way i want you…it makes me feel like i failed somehow, as a boyfriend” he confessed, making you look into his eyes.
“you didn’t fail…i think we should have talked about this instead of screaming at each other…i’m sorry too…” you apologised, realising that maybe you went too far too.
“look at me y/n…” he slowly lifted your chin up, making you look at him “you’re the only person i want, the only person i need…and i would spend all night long to prove it too you” his thumb gently wiped your tears away “all night long…” he repeated, whispering against your lips before he planted a small kiss upon your lips, testing the waters.
when he felt you reacting to the kiss, he went deeper. slowly opening his mouth a little more, biting your lips, making you moan into his mouth “you’re the only one i want” he whispered again, making you believe that.
his hands moved to your hips, lightly pushing you on the bed, his lips never leaving yours “i promised you, i would spend all night to make it up to you hermosa…” and he did maintain his promise.
showing you how sorry and sad he was that you ever doubt his love for you. showing you how horny and hard you get him, because you are the only woman to have that affect on him. showing you how deeply in love he is with you because he can’t live without you.

Tumblr media
Survivor Series, the day the wrestling community waited months for. You were sat at the edge of the bed in your hotel room, staring into the loud TV, waiting for your girlfriend to make her appearance for her match against Zoey Stark.
You were supposed to be there but of course Rhea’s magment had fucked up their dates, leaving you without a pass to the event.
It killed both of you knowing you wouldn’t be backstage to cheer on Rhea.
Anytime a pay-per-view even came around you’d clear your entire schedule just to support and help Rhea prepare. She took such good care of you it was the least you could do. Although you couldn’t physically be at the arena you still flew out to Chicago to at least be able to spend a little bit of time with Rhea.
You were pulled away from your train of thought as Rhea’s music soon started blaring through the stadium, “And her opponent, representing The Judgment Day, she is the women's world champion, Rhea Ripley!” The announcer yelled out as Rhea made her entrance, wearing what was possibly the sexiest gear she has ever worn.
“Holy shit-” You mumbled to yourself, leaning forward trying to get a closer look. Rhea looked insane. Her hair was in a faux mohawk, stripes of eyeliner ran over her eyes in a lighting strike pattern, black lipstick was smudged onto her right cheek.
Rhea’s eyes never broke contact with the camera lens as she made her way down the ramp, she knew you'd be right on the receiving end of her gaze.
Once Rhea made her way into the ring you were able to catch a good glimpse at her gear. She sported a black vest over a black and white plunge top that was split down the middle, her shorts following the same theme while her boots displayed a cow print. But the bread and butter of this outfit was the black assless chaps.
This outfit had to have been the reason Rhea was so protective over her suitcase these past few days.
You sat eagerly watching the match, which was short yet action packed. Rhea had thrown Zoey around like she was nothing the entire match, your mind couldn't help but wonder what it’d look like if Rhea had manhandled you in the same way.
Rhea had retained her title with ease, barely breaking a sweat during the length of her match. You were quick to pick up your phone and congratulate her,
Y: YOU DID IT LOVEEEE!!!! and you looked good as hell while doing it….
Rhea replied about ten minutes later with a full body mirror selfie to show off her look, this time with an addition of a black cowboy hat and her hair out of the faux mohawk.
R: thank you baby, my hair wouldn’t fit in my hat so we had to ditch that plan :/
Y:  god damn! ditch wrestling and become a cowboy!
Y: it’s so unfair i don’t get to see you like that rn urghhh
R: i know baby, i promise i’ll make it up to you tonight. look, i gotta go do a few things, i’ll see you in an hour or two okay?
Y: you better…now shoo and don’t keep me waiting for you all night
You huffed as you dropped your phone down onto your lap. The wait for Rhea had officially begun.
There was one match left before the main war games match. Knowing Rhea would make an appearance in that last match you decided to rile her up a bit beforehand.
You made your way to your suitcase and began searching for the new lingerie set you had bought just days ago while Rhea was training. You pulled out a bra made of intricate lacing along with the matching crotchless panties and garter belt.
Once you had slipped into the lace you stationed yourself in front of the mirror. You used your free hand to grope your breast as you snapped a photo and sent it to Rhea.
Y: excited to see mami on my screen.
R: naughty girl…
R: are you really trying to get yourself into trouble right now?
Y: well i just figured since mami sent me such a sexy pic earlier i’d return the favor. i can send another one if you'd like…
You didn’t give Rhea the opportunity to reply before you snapped another picture, this time slightly rotating to your side to catch the curvature of your ass.
Seen at 9:36 pm.
You stared at your phone waiting for her reply but attention was pulled away as you heard The Judgment Day being announced, Rhea was nowhere to be seen as they made their entrance. You pouted as you laid down in the bed, your knees slightly spread as you watched in anticipation for Rhea’s appearance.
After a long match, intense and still no reply Rhea finally arrived at the end of the match, she came barreling down the ramp, this time wearing her cowboy hat with Priest’s MITB briefcase clenched in her hands.
You quickly took the opportunity to send Rhea a picture of your hand resting in between your thighs as she paraded on the screen in front of you.
Y: just remembered a quote, something about save a horse, ride a cowgirl…
Another waiting game began. As much as you loved seeing Rhea clearly flustered on the screen you couldn’t wait for her to get to the locker room and see the message you left for her.
After a failed cash-in and two surprise returns from Randy Orton and CM Punk the main event finally came to a close, meaning Rhea was finally able to return to her phone. You picked up your phone to view your previous message exchanges with Rhea.
A text bubble appeared, indicating Rhea was on the other side drafting up her response. You chewed down on your cheek eagerly watching your phone.
The text bubble disappeared.
Seen at 10:24pm.
You whined to yourself, a wetness growing between your legs. You attempted to make multiple calls to Rhea, only for each and every one of them to be ignored. You slumped into the bed, giving up on making contact with the woman.
Just moments later a banner popped up at the top of your phone,
R: face down ass up. you have two minutes.
Rhea had finally given you the attention you were craving. You needed her touch badly, so you gladly obeyed her demands getting into position in the center of the bed. Your face sunk into your pillow while your bare cunt peeked through the gap of your crotchless panties as you took in the sensation of the crisp hotel air that kissed your wetness.
You soon heard the quiet unlatching of the door followed by shuffling fabric. You peeked over to see Rhea, in that damn cowboy hat, discarding her streetwear to reveal the gear you’d been fawning over all night.
Rhea’s gaze was fixed on your arching back as she crept her way towards you.
“Such a little slut for me,” Rhea husked, her weight sinking onto the bed as you waved your ass in the air. She took a moment to admire the sight of your wet cunt glistening in the dimmed light.
“Just the thought of Mami has you all worked up.” Rhea relished, her hands skimming over the delicate skin of your ass before dropping a slap down onto you, causing a muffled yelp to leave your mouth.
Rhea moved her pointer finger to your heat and began to trace the skin around your wetness. Her finger took its time inching towards your hole before being pushed into you at a painfully slow pace, making you whine out into your pillow“Mami, please.”
“What a needy girl.” Rhea taunted, watching you squirm against her finger, “Such a wreck already...” She hummed in response to your whining when she pulled her finger out of you.
Both Rhea’s hands took ahold of your ass cheeks giving them a squeeze before she brought her face just centimeters from your aching heat. Shivers snuck up your spine as her heavy breaths brushed against your wetness. Her lips wrapped around you, her tongue beginning to draw circles perimitering your clit.
Rhea then pulled back and spat onto your cunt causing a high pitched ‘fuck’ to leave your mouth. She hummed to herself in satisfaction while she took you back into her mouth. Her hands still clenched to your ass as she began devouring you, acting as if she was having her final meal.
All you could do was cling to the bedsheets and cry out into your pillow as Rhea took as much of you as she could in her mouth, her tongue piercing reaching brand new places. Due to your current position the tip of Rhea’s nose was repeatedly brushing against your entrance, adding fuel to the fire that was burning inside you.
“Gonna cum, Mami!” You pulled your head up from your pillow and moaned out.
You could feel Rhea scoff against you before prying herself off your cunt, “No you’re not,” She groused, withdrawing all touch from you. “Such a spoiled girl, thinking you get to cum after teasing me when I’m working.”
“Please Mami! I’ll do anything- Just touch me, let me cum.” You pleaded, turning your head to look back at her with scrunched brows.
“You can beg all you want…but we both know that you won't cum until I say so.” Rhea’s tone was smug as she stood up from the bed. “Now…stay there and don’t even think about moving.” She growled on, making her way into the bathroom before closing the door behind her.
You humphed to yourself, letting your head fall down to your pillow. It took everything in you to restrain your hands from touching yourself, but you knew if Rhea ever caught you pleasuring yourself she would push you to your breaking point.
Several minutes had passed, your orgasm that was once near had seemingly wandered off. Your eyes were focused on the bathroom door as the knob rotated and Rhea emerged. Her shorts had disappeared and been replaced with a black strap-on…yet her chaps were still on. The sight alone had you arching your back as she lurched towards you.
“Look at you…all ready for Mami’s cock.” She murmured, crawling up behind you. She spat onto the silicon and slowly began jerking herself off, spreading her saliva over the toy before prodding at your slick coated entrance.
“Mami-” You purred out as the tip of Rhea’s toy pressed into your needy hole. Your walls were soon engulfing the entirety of her length.
You had little to no time to adjust to her girth before she started ripping into you, leaving you at a loss for words. One of her hands was clamped to your hip while the other delivered a sharp slap to your ass before grabbing a fistful of your hair. “This is what you wanted isn’t it-” She groaned out while your cunt pulsed around her toy. “Sending me pictures of you whoring around the room, you were just begging to be ruined.”
The only sounds leaving your mouth were jumbled vowels mixed in with moans, she had you completely unable to form a sentence. You were powerless as Rhea pulled you up by your arms, bringing your back to press against her chest.
You threw your head back against her shoulder as her hand trailed down to your clit, massaging quick circles against your swollen bud while continuing her merciless strokes.
“Don’t even think about it.” She whispered as you squirmed against her, letting out constant whines. Her free hand reached to wrap around your throat as you began rolling your hips back against Rhea. “Already fucking yourself against Mami’s cock?” She harshly questioned, her fingers adding more pressure against your clit, forcing a scream to come from your mouth.
“Such a slut.” Rhea lowly stated, letting go of the hold she had on you before pushing you back down to the bed. Her thrusts came to a halt as you rocked yourself on her cock. Her hand dropped a bitter spank on your skin, signaling for you to quicken your pace.
Rhea allowed you to fuck yourself on her strap while she caught her breath and admired the view she had of you. But your motions were abruptly cut off by Rhea’s hands firmly gripping your hips. You whimpered as she pulled herself out of you, leaving you empty.
Rhea flipped you onto your back before pulling you to sit upright. “You wanna ride Mami’s cock don’t you,” Her hoarse voice spoke, her hand moving to place her hat onto your head. You nodded, looking up to her with needy eyes while shifting to sit on your knees. “Use your words, princess.” She warned as her fingers gripped your jaw, taking control over you.
“Please, I've been waiting all night, Mami.” You swallowed, your breath shaking in anticipation as your hips wiggled with excitement.
“That’s it, good girl.” She hummed in approval, dropping the grip she had on your jaw. She brought herself to the head of the bed, resting her back on the headboard. You crawled up to her lap and situated your entrance to hover over Rhea’s tip.
Your hands clutched Rhea’s shoulders as you began sinking yourself onto her length while moaning her name. As your hips started gradually bouncing, Rhea’s hands found themselves resting against your waist.
Meanwhile the pairs of your lips collided into a sloppy kiss. You whined into Rhea’s mouth, the piercing on her tongue brushing against your lip as her hands trailed to cup your breasts. Your eyes were glued shut as swayed yourself up and down Rhea’s length.
The overwhelming sense of pleasure was already washing over you. The combination of Rhea’s lips wandering to your neck, her digits toying with your nipples, and her cock being swallowed by your insides had your stomach contracting.
Your pace picked up in speed as you tightened yourself around Rhea’s girth. As you focused on the movements in your hips Rhea’s attention was centered around your neck and collarbones, working on scattering reddish-purple marks against your skin.
“Please-Can’t hold on any longer.” You pleaded with the woman through whimpers, your nails beginning to sink deeper into her shoulders.
Rhea pulled herself from your neck, her hands moved to force your hips all the way to the base of her length. “Just one more minute, can you do that for me?” She questioned, her hands guiding you to rock back and forth.
“Y-Yes Mami,” You whimpered out at the sensation of your clit rocking against the leather band at the base of Rhea’s strap.
As the end of the excruciating sixty seconds neared your motions got sloppier with each motion. Rhea was sure guests in the other rooms  could hear your moans but you didn’t care, your mind was only focusing on not cumming at the exact moment.
“Open your eyes, pretty girl.” Rhea’s accent was thick as she spoke. “I want you to look at me while you cum all over my cock.” She added on while her fingers softly danced around your jawline.
Your eyes darted open once you heard Rhea finally give you permission to release yourself. Your vision was blurred by tears as you stared into Rhea’s oceanic blues. “Fuck-Oh! Mami!” You had barely managed to choke out, just seconds away from your climax.
“C’mon,” Was the last thing you hear Rhea egg on before your orgasm flooded over you, leaving you crying out moans. Rhea’s hands moved to stabilize your twitching and shaking lower half. Quiet praises left your girlfriend's mouth as she helped you come down from your high. Your swollen lips placed a gentle peck against Rhea’s cheek as insignificant tears fell from your eyes.
“You okay, Princess? I didn’t hurt you did I?” Rhea’s gaze softened while her hands hurried to cup your face.
You shook your head, giving her a weak smile, “Mm-mm, just felt really good…” You quietly replied as your arms wrapped behind Rhea’s neck. You gave Rhea a gentle smooch as she carefully pulled you off her length, the once black strap was now covered with scattered strings of whiteness.
“Alright, let’s get you cleaned up, pretty girl.”

Another Complicated Love Story

Chapter 3: Girls’ Night
Saturday, December 7, 2024
“Rhea!!!” Naomi cheered after she opened the door.
“Naomi!!!” Rhea replied excitedly. They hugged. Naomi moved to the side to let Rhea and Jey in.
“Hi Jey,” Naomi said matter-of-factly.
“Hi Naomi,” Jey said. “Nice to see you too.”
“I see you all the time,” Naomi said. “Big Momma! We’re gonna have fun.”
Jimmy greeted Rhea and Jey. Jey set Rhea’s bag down by the couch. Rhea was looking forward to hanging out with Naomi. It had been a while since she had a girls night, not to mention a sleepover. Jey and Jimmy would be going over to Jey’s to hang out and they would spend the night there. Jimmy still had to take it easy with his broken toe. Rhea ignored the tiny ache of sadness in her heart. She and Jey had been inseparable since Thursday. This would be their first night apart. She felt ridiculous for being even a little sad.
Rhea stood close to Jey in the kitchen while he got the two of them something to drink. Naomi and Jimmy were in the kitchen not too far away from them mumbling something. Jey handed her a glass of lemonade.
“Thanks,” Rhea said, smiling. She took a sip.
Jey smiled and drank from his glass.
“Oh y’all finally had sex,” Naomi said.
Jey made a weird gurgling sound and started coughing. He put down his glass. Rhea looked wide eyed between Jey and Naomi. Her face went red.
Naomi held out her hand and Jimmy sighed. He pulled out his wallet and gave her a twenty dollar bill.
“How did you know?” Rhea asked. She pushed down a memory of a similar conversation she had had with her mom a long time ago.
“Y’all are moving differently now,” Naomi said. “Y’all are both way more relaxed. Anyone with eyes can see it.”
“Not me,” Jimmy said. “I lost $20. I also said not to say anything right now.”
“Are you okay?” Rhea asked Jey. She rubbed his back.
He nodded. “Well, maybe we should head out, Jim.”
“Yeah especially since y’all were late,” Naomi said. “Is that what y’all were doing?”
Rhea looked at the floor, trying not to laugh. Because that was, in fact, why they were late. Jey rolled his eyes.
“Nae, you gotta chill,” Jey said.
“I’m sorry,” Naomi said, holding her hands up.
“Don’t let her bully you,” Jey said, pulling Rhea to him, his hands resting on her hips.
“I won’t,” Rhea said, wrapping her arms around his neck. “Have fun.”
“You too,” he said.
They kissed and Rhea felt the ache in her heart grow a little bit.
“See you in the morning,” he said. Rhea could tell he was gonna miss her too.
“Bye,” Rhea said.
Naomi hugged and kissed Jimmy goodbye and the boys were off.
“So things are going well?” Naomi said as they sat on the couch.
Rhea sat down next to her, lemonade in hand.
“Yep,” Rhea said, smiling.
“Are y’all official yet?” Naomi asked, grinning.
“No,” Rhea said.
Naomi let out an exasperated sigh and Rhea laughed.
“We’re just not ready yet. Or maybe it’s more on me,” Rhea said. “But it’ll happen soon.”
“Don’t let me or anyone else pressure you. I’m just rooting for y’all.”
“Thanks Nae,” Rhea said. “How are things with you and Jimmy?”
“They’re good,” Naomi said. “I can’t complain.”
“Sorry about your match yesterday. You know Jey and I were rooting for you.”
“Thanks, Big Momma. I’m not worried. My time is coming.”
“We’ll both be holding gold soon,” Rhea said.
Naomi put her arm around Rhea’s shoulders. “Can’t wait to see you kick Raquel’s ass on Monday. That will make me feel better.”
Rhea laughed. “I got you.”
“So are we still watching these movies? Smile 2 and Meet Me Next Christmas?”
“Yep,” Rhea agreed.
“Wait, let’s get comfy first.”
They went and changed into their pajamas and Naomi pulled out some blankets. They settled into the couch. They played Smile 2 first. Naomi was jumping and holding onto Rhea, but at the end, Naomi said she actually liked it.
While getting popcorn and wine ready for the next movie, Jimmy and Jey sent them some silly pictures. They were grilling by Jey’s apartment. The food did look good. Naomi texted Jimmy, telling him to bring home a plate.
Jey sent Rhea a message: Missing you already 🖤
Rhea smiled and replied: Missing you too 💙
“Now I have those goofy pictures don’t have you smiling like that,” Naomi said.
“He said missing you already. I told him I missed him too,” Rhea said.
“Aww y’all are so cute! You really like him.”
“I love him,” Rhea said, staring at her phone. When she realized what she said, her head snapped up at Naomi, who was standing there with her mouth open.
“I didn’t…I-I…don’t say anything, please Naomi,” Rhea said. “I haven’t said that to him.”
“I promise I won’t tell,” Naomi said.
“Not even a hint?” Rhea asked, holding out her pinky.
“Not even a hint,” Naomi agreed, linking her pinky with Rhea’s.
“Besides, it’s way too early,” Rhea said, after they separated. “We’re not even together.” She gulped down a lot of red wine.
Instead of placing the bottle back in the fridge, Naomi refilled Rhea’s glass.
“If that’s how you feel, that’s how you feel,” Naomi said. “Life is short and the world’s a little wild…I’m not rushing you. I’m just saying.”
Rhea ate some popcorn and sighed. She couldn’t believe she said that. She had thought it a few times when she and Jey were together, but she never imagined it would just slip out like that.
As Rhea and Naomi settled into the couch for the rom com, she tried to ignore the nervousness she felt. Rhea was wondering what would happen if she slipped up in front of Jey? She should just tell him now? What if he ran?
Naomi touched Rhea’s shoulder and Rhea’s thoughts quieted. She looked at Naomi.
“I know rom coms aren’t your favorite, but we just started the movie and you look like you’re gonna vomit. What’s wrong? Is it the L-word situation?”
Rhea nodded. “What if I say it in front of Jey?”
“What if he says it back?” Naomi asked.
Rhea felt a knot form in her stomach. “I’m just not ready.”
Love meant a serious relationship. Love meant trust. And betrayal and heartbreak loomed nearby. But she could trust Jey. She did trust him. Didn’t she?
“Forget Jey. Jimmy who? This is girls night. Let’s watch this rom com cuz it’s been on my list. And then we can do some karaoke. I’ll even be brave and let you put on another scary movie.”
Rhea smiled. “I’m good. Karaoke does sound fun though.”
“Bet,” Naomi said.
They watched the rom com. Tipsy on wine and full of popcorn, they pulled up karaoke songs and sang and danced for a good hour.
Naomi ordered some wings and fries. They let Law and Order SVU reruns play while waiting for the food, trying to decide their final movie for the night.
“Ooo have you seen Everything, All Over?” Naomi asked.
“That’s a movie?” Rhea asked, laughing.
“No, it’s...Everything, Everywhere, All…at Once?”
“No.”
“It’s great. You’ll love it. If we stay awake,” Naomi said.
“Cool. Let’s watch it.”
Naomi fell asleep halfway through the movie. Rhea enjoyed it. It was surprisingly heartwarming even if it was a little weird, but Rhea liked weird. Rhea’s eyes felt heavy as the credits started rolling. They hadn’t planned on sleeping the couch, but fortunately it was big and comfortable. Jimmy and Jey were talking them out for breakfast tomorrow. She smiled thinking about Jey. She fell asleep and dreamed about her and Jey having hot dog fingers. Then they were both rocks and a little bubble appeared above his head that said “I love you.” A bubble appeared above Rhea’s head that said “You rock.”

All Fell Down | D.P. Part 3
Tumblr media
Summary: Can there be a part 3 of All Fall Down? I need to know what happens. What does Rhea have to say?!
Damian Priest Masterlist
Requested by: @judgementalghost29
Taglist: @magicalbuttertarts @theworldofotps @smallestsnarkestgirl @mrsarcherofinfamy
Y/N stood in the busy women's locker room, getting ready for her match with Rhea. The others were making tik toks or chatting about recent events. Normally, she'd be in the Judgment Day locker room, but that ended last night. She never felt more out of place.
Her phone lit up. Y/N was about to ignore it. She wanted to be free from any distractions. Curiosity got the better of her. She grabbed her phone to see a text from Mami.
"Hey, come to the clubhouse. Damian isn't here,"
Y/N sighed and replied back.
"What about Finn?"
"Just the girls:)"
Y/N checked herself in the mirror. She was ready for their match tonight. Her stuff was placed neatly in a locker. Within moments, she was in front of the Judgment Day clubhouse. Nervously, she knocked on the door.
"Hello, darling," Rhea greeted when she opened the door. She only poked her head out.
"You wanted to see me?" Y/N questioned.
"I can't see my friend before a match and fix everything like always?"
"What?"
Rhea opened the door wider. She grabbed Y/N's wrist before she could run off. With little struggle, Y/N was forced in the clubhouse. The door was closed quickly behind her. Damian and Finn stood next to each other.
"Rhea, this isn't funny. Let me go," she begged and tried to push past her.
"There won't be anymore fighting, Y/N," Finn told her. Y/N turned to look at him. This was the most he had spoken to her for a while. She bit her lip nervously.
"I had a heart to heart with Finn last night. Sneaking around and Damian telling Finn to ask you back out wasn't the smartest, but we are all adults," Rhea pointed out. She sat on the black couch.
Y/N felt tears spring to her eyes. "I'm sorry about lying to you, Finn. It sort of just happened. I would never do anything to hurt you or lie to you. I was just worried about losing our friendship and it backfired,"
"I know, and I'm sorry too. I just wanted to protect you, but Damian is a good guy," Finn smiled briefly and patted Damian's back. Damian nodded to his friend.
The old friends aired out their grievances. The room felt lighter the more they talked. Damian hadn't spoken yet. He wasn't sure what to say. Rhea took notice.
"Come on, Finn. Let's see what's going on in catering. I haven't seen Shayna's new review on it yet," Rhea announced and stood from the couch. Finn looked at her oddly yet saw her expression and left with her.
The room immediately felt tense once more. "I should go,"
"Damian, wait," she spoke quickly. He stopped and waited for her to continue. Her thoughts drifted back to their time in the elevator. "I think I need your help. I have a match with Rhea. My ego is getting too big again. All the air in my head,"
Damian turned to her. The corners of his lips tugged into a smile. A genuine smile for the first time since they broke up last night. "The air never left your head, princesa. You look like Megamind,"
"Damian!" She shrieked and shoved his chest. His laughter boomed in the clubhouse. The noise eased her troubled mind. He wrapped his arms around her. "I miss you,"
"I miss you too. Rhea set this all up. She kind of got Finn's head out of his ass last night. We talked it all out before she texted you to come over," he told her. Damian brought up some of the events that happened before her arrival. All the hurt and anger that was spilled.
"Would that mean you and I.... could be you and I again?" She asked nervously. His rejection would hurt her.
"I'd like that more than anything," he answered and kissed her.
"Let's make up for lost time," Y/N winked and led them to the couch. Damian sat down. Y/N sat on his lap. They started to kiss.
The door suddenly opened. "Hey, our match is next. Oh, bloody hell!" Rhea spoke and smacked her hand to her face. The couple separated. Y/N blushed and hid her face.
"Like bloody teenagers. We can't even leave you two alone in the clubhouse. Come on, Y/N,"
They kissed one last time. "I'll be watching,"

hi!! how r u doing? hope you're okay <3
if u don't mind,i would like to request little reader warming up to damian. Like,he's tall and muscly so he kinda looks scary, but he's actually a sweetheart!
have a great day and take your time <333
Of course! I used to be a bit scared of him too.
-You took to Finn and Rhea quickly, as they were the least scary looking two of the bunch.
-But when it came to Damian...He scared little you a bit. He was so big! And his voice is so deep!
-When you first met him, you hid behind Rhea and Finn.
-Finn, Rhea, and Dominik tell you about how nice he is, but at first you just don't listen. Scary people are mean people, right?
-You spend the first week or two away from Damian. Running away whenever he entered the same room as you.
-Damian tried to not take it to heart, you were in a little mindset after all. And lots of people found him scary. He just wished one of those people wasn't you.
-Eventually, Dom starts telling you about how nice of a Papi Damian is! His tall stature makes him feel even smaller, and his deep voice is great for lullabys!
-Hearing this from Dom, a fellow little, you decide to give him a try.
-It starts out with you not running away from him anymore, telling him "Hi" whenever he enters a room.
-Eventually you talk to him a bit more. Asking some questions about lunch, what his favorite color is, if he likes toys, small talk type questions.
-Then one day, you see Dom and Damian playing together. You think to yourself "I wanna play too!"
-So you waddle over to them and plop yourself down on the ground and say "I play too."
-Dom and Damian are more than happy to let you play with them. Espically Damian, happy that you're now warming up to him.
-You come to learn that Papi is really nice! As you two get closer, you start spending more time together, just the two of you!
-What really seals it though, is when you wake up from a nightmare one night.
-You get so scared, that you crawl out of bed and waddle your way to none other than Damian's room.
-You shake him awake and he sleepily asks "What's wrong cariño?"
-When you tell him that you had a scary dream, he doesn't hesitate to let you cuddle with him.
-Out of curiosity, he asks you why you chose to sleep with him tonight. You reply "Well I used to tink Papi was scary, but you nice! Monsters no know you nice, just scary looking! So you scare monsters bye-bye!"
-Damian heart fills with warmth and joy at your reply. He gives you a big kiss on the head and cuggles up with you tight. Promising that no monsters will every get to his little one.
-----
I hope you guys like it! I'm sorry if it's not as good as my other headcanons. Just had a busy and tiring day today, but I still wanted to get something out for y'all!

hellooooo um so i saw your requests are open and i was wondering if you’d write some fluffy madness where reader tries their best to comfort rhea after she had to vacate the women’s championship title?
you can take the concept and do what you want with it but im just begging for rhea fluff bc theres an agonizingly low amount of rhea fics as it is 🥺🙏🏼
On Top Again
Angst, fluff, fluff ending, No use of Y/N, gender neutral reader. That’s pretty much it I think
(Sorry if it’s a little short!! But I tried my best, I hope you like it!! <3)
That week, Rhea was very to herself, which was unlike her and you had no clue why. You tried cheering her up with little surprises and affection, and while it put a smile on her face it never lasted long.
You figured she needed space; Rhea wasn’t the strongest communicator when it came to her feelings. You were aware of that. You knew if something was bothering her terribly, she’d come to you.
Now you knew what kept her spirts down that week when you watched Monday Night Raw, you stared at the screen with a sad, pitiful look. That championship was proof of her commitment, hard work, and her literal blood, sweat, and tears. It was her whole life encased in a shiny golden belt she wore with pride; and that night it was almost as if it was stripped from her over an injury. You could only imagine her pain in that moment.
When she got home the next day around noon, she seemed almost defeated. You knew she put up a strong front for work, but now she didn’t seem too sure of her abilities.
You slowly walked towards her while she was crouched, giving Barry and Luna some much needed affection. She wore a baggy band shirt paired with her signature sweatpants, suitcase still at the door.
“Hey, love. I seen what happened last night..do you feel like talking about it?..”
Rhea sighed, getting up and giving you a deep hug which you returned immediately. She finally spoke up after a few moments in your embrace.
“..I’m sorry I’ve been distant..and not talking to you as much as I should. I just got the news before Raw..I felt like I needed to process it on my own before going up on stage and announcing it in front of everyone. I knew you were worried about me, and I’m sorry..”
You looked up at Rhea, cupping her face in your hands before speaking gently.
“I know you process emotions differently Rhea, and that’s okay. I understand…and I’m sorry you lost your championship. It meant a lot to you.”
Rhea gives you a pity half-smile, looking to the side.
“It did..it still does. I worked my ass off for that championship only for it to get stripped away from me. I don’t even know what I’m going to have to do to get it back.”
You heard the frustration in her voice, quickly replying to try and ease her nerves.
“Hey, hey..baby, I know you’ll get it back. If anyone is worthy of that title it’s you. It took an injury to take your title away from you, not anyone else’s willpower. That sounds pretty badass if you ask me.”
Rhea cracked a small smile, looking at you with a glimpse of hope in her eyes as you continued speaking.
“I know that championship meant the world to you. I’m sorry.” You gave Rhea a sympathetic look, putting a strand of hair that was in her face behind her ear.
“It was my whole life, but you are too. You’re my number one motivator and I’m so glad that you believe in me.”
You smiled at Rhea, tears in your eyes from the swell of emotions you felt from what she just told you.
“It’s going to take a lot more than one little injury to stop thee Rhea Ripley. Even if I also advise you stay home, you most likely wouldn’t have listened.” Rhea chuckled a little bit, showing you a genuine smile for the first time in a while.
You gave Rhea a kiss on the cheek as she kept on giggling; she draped her arms around your waist in return.
“You’re going to be on top again, Rhea, I know you will. You always are.”

Hi, I see you accept request. Well, I wanted to request a Rhea Ripley x Fem! Reader in which reader loses her pandora bracelet before to go to a party and she's desperated because that bracelet is so important to her (I have one myself and I could literally die if I lost it because it's very expensive and I put so much effort in collection charms and I'm still working hard to fill it all up) and Rhea helps her to look for it all over their apartment.
Pandora Bracelet
Rhea Ripley x fem!Reader
Hope you enjoy <3
Tumblr media
I was getting ready for party some wrestlers were throwing just to have a good time, i was in me and Rheas bedroom at the vanity table in my navy dress and black heels finishing up some light makeup when i realized i forgot to put my special Pandora bracelet back on, i put my makeup away and looked on the vanity table for my bracelet but i couldn't see it anywhere so i checked the bathroom, nope not there either.
"Rhea!" I shouted as she was in the bathroom getting ready "yes love!" I heard her shout back "come here i need you!" I didn't hear a reply but i saw her enter the room "what's up love" she asks hugging me from behind "i can't find my bracelet Rhea" i say looking up at her "y/n we have to go soon we will look for it later" she smiles at me "Rhea you know how important that bracelet is to me its expensive as well" i complain, i got that bracelet myself but my nan would always buy me charms for it but sadly she died a few years back and it always reminded me of her "okay love we will look for it" she says letting me go "where have you looked" she asked "vanity and bathroom" i reply going over to my side of the bed to start looking to see if a dropped it, i knelt on the floor when a felt a stinging pain on my ass i look up to see Rhea smiling down at me "sorry could help it you look good in that dress" i let out a tiny laugh trying to be annoyed and went back to looking as did Rhea.
After awhile of looking i walked into the living room where Rhea was "found it?" She asked "no" i huffed getting upset that we haven't found it, i gussed Rhea picked up on this as she walked over pulling me into a hug "its here somewhere baby" she said stroking my hair as all i could smell was her perfume calming me down a bit i felt her kiss the top of my head letting me go so she could see my face i looked up into her blue eyes she was smiling at me her thumb stroking my cheek "yeah your right" i said smiling back at her "lets do one more look over before we have to go" she lets go of me as she walks over to our kitchen looking everywhere as i walk over to our second bathroom seeing if i left it in here.
I moved the towels in the bathroom the toothbrushes, toothpaste, our skin care, head bands and nothing i was stressing about it at this point and to be honest i almost started to cry, i knew it was silly to cry over a bracelet but to me it was the last thing i had of my nan and she was like my best friend when she was alive and not to mention how much it costs. I walked back into the living room seeing barry and luna and the sofa laying down on their blanket looking at me, i say beside them petting them "hi babys you okay" I say knowing they wont reply when i saw Rhea walk in "no luck?" I ask and she shakes her head "how could one bracelet vanish" i say standing up brushing my dress "i have no idea baby" Rhea says wrapping an arm around me "i am sorry love" she saus kissing my forehead gently "its okay its not your fault" i say smiling at her.
Barry walks over to us from his stop on the sofa jumping at Rheas legs "what big boy" she said stroking his head, i look down at him them at luna "baby you don't think they took it?" I ask looking at her as she stops Barry "check their beds if not its a trip to the vets" she says as i walk to their beds my heels tapping on the floor, i bend down looking at thier beds seeing nothing "nothing Rhe" i say and the thinks for a second "look under" she says as Barry tries to get her attention Luna stays laydown looking on at what's happening "alright" i lift Lunas bed to see nothing them i lift Barrys to see my Pandora bracelet sitting there "Found it!" I say with happiness putting it on "Barry what were you doing with it silly boy" i say petting his face then giving Luna some love "We should go now we are a bit late" Rhea smiles at me "yeah we should" i say kissing her cheek as i get my bag and keys and she does the same "ready now?" Rhea asks "yes" i smile holding her hand and place a gentle kiss on her lips before we leave for the night.

IN WHICH MARCUS MISSES HIS DAD'S GF
"Don't cry papi, you know he'll be back before you know it." Rhea attempted to comfort her son. The seven-year-old was deeply saddened by his father's absence over the last month. What felt short to some, was a big deal to the boy. His father was his hero, his best friend, and his role model.
"Can we go visit, Piffy?" Marcus asked with a sniffle as he rubbed at his eyes with the back of his fist.
"Of course we can." She replied with a gentle smile, "I'll call her and see if she's home first."
"No, Let's surprise her! she makes funny faces when she's surprised." He insisted with a smile forming across his face.
Marcus had developed a close bond with Epiphany over the last three months. She was always sweet to him and smelt like candy. She reminded him of Strawberry Shortcake from TV. Always energetic and happy. She knew over a hundred games for the park and taught him them all. Marcus loved playing Just Dance, a K-pop edition at her apartment. Other times, they'd have movie nights when he spent nights with his dad. Epiphany made so many bright colored sweets that the boy thought he was in a bakery. His favorite was her peach cupcakes with chocolate-dipped strawberries on top. Plus, it made Marcus happy to see his dad happy. He always looked happy and playful whenever Epiphany was around. The eight-year-old loved teasing his dad about his 'crush' on Epiphany.
It didn't take much longer than thirty minutes for Rhea and Marcus to arrive at Epiphany's apartment building. Rhea had been there twice; once to formally meet her with Marcus and the second time for dinner the weekend before Thanksgiving. Rhea thought Epiphany was a sweet woman. Definitely sassy and perhaps a bit young, but she fit right in with their family. Marcus held a bag of churros in his hands for them to share as he awaited beside his mother inside the elevator.
Meanwhile, Epiphany had been in her living room working out. She needed something to distract her from spamming Mick with 'how's Chris doing' text messages. She understood Christopher had shit going on and had to lay low but did it hurt to text her himself or to give her a five-minute phone call? Dating her ex-dealer was so not fun sometimes. And then, there was Beth. Epiphany took a week off of work just to not face the smug-looking squirrel. Annoyance, anger, and sadness were what she felt; and instead of moping, Epiphany decided to channel that into working out.
An R&B ballad of the K-pop group, Red Velvet played as background music to her swift hip-whining. A mind-to-muscle connection was what she focused on to move her lower waist and hip area as effortlessly as she could. Twenty-five lbs weights were gripped in her fists, which she rotated in circles above her head. Her lavender sports bra and shorts were drenched in sweat, tightly clinging to her body like a second layer of skin. The sudden bang against her door caused her to stop and turn around. "Coming!" Epiphany rushed to throw on a terry-cloth robe before heading downstairs.
She ran past her bright-fuschia pink kitchen with her heart beating rapidly at the thought of her lover being on the other side of the door.
"Hi Piffy, I missed you!" greeted Marcus's squeaky voice with glee.
"Hi Epiphany, it's nice to see you. Sorry to drop by on such short notice." Rhea added.
A smile had finally formed across Epiphany's lips for the first time in months. "Aye dios mio, Hi!" she greeted before quickly stepping aside, "Please come on in. It's nice to see you both." The way Marcus ran to her and embraced her with a warming hug made her heart swoon. She had no choice but to squeal as she crouched down and hugged him in return.
"I missed you too, sweetie pie. It's been boring without you." she cooed before giving his forehead a peck.
Rhea smiled gleefully at the sweet interaction between her son and Epiphany. It was all she could hope for in any relationship Christopher had. "I got us Churros and nutella dip." Marcus showed off, holding up his paper bag.
"Ooouuu awesome, how about we watch Ponyo while we eat them?" Epiphany suggested. The boy nodded his head eagerly before dashing off to the staircase beside the kitchen.
"Thanks for bringing him by, Rhea." she said sincerely, "He's really sweet and well…I've been really bummed out since Chris went M.I.A."
"Marcus too, he asked for you and in a way I think spending time with you…makes him feel closer to his father." Rhea replied, "You'll get used to it. Or, at least I hope you do because Marcus is attached to you and Chris…well, it's just nice to see him take someone seriously."
The dancer nodded, biting at her lip as she sank deep into her inner thoughts. If only Rhea knew that Epiphany felt like she was in deep to the point of not going back, "You think he takes me seriously?"
Rhea only smiled and comfortingly tapped her shoulder, "Yea chica, I do."
"Well then, I'll be sure to give him three ass-whoopings for Marcus, you, and I." Epiphany grinned.
"Momma! Eiffy! Hurry up!" Marcus called from upstairs causing the two women to chuckle and make their way over.

Bronze Fury
When the only child of Daemon Targaryen and Rhea Royce is brought to King's Landing to meet with the rest of her family, she finds herself caught in a crisis of succession. The Greens battle for her support... and her affections.
Chapter Six: The Dragon's Pit / Previous Chapter / Directory
Rhae learns more of what makes the House of the Dragon the greatest force in all of Westeros from an admiring Aemond. But before the night can end, the elder Prince Aegon divulges the unspoken conflict that seems set to tear the family in two.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Getting a bit late, isn't it?"
Rhae's heart skipped a beat—now outside Helaena's room, she and Aemond stood face to face with Ser Criston. She looked nervously to Aemond, who was staring guiltily at Cole's boots.
"Apologies, Ser Criston," Aemond mumbled. His youth was showing—he looked remarkably like a boy being scolded by his father. "We'd lost track of time."
"I expect it won't happen again," Criston chided, raising a brow. Aemond's face flushed. "You've got training in the morning, and you should rest well if you'd like to continue with the heavier sword."
"It is my fault, Ser Criston," Rhae said, clasping her own hands together nervously. Criston shifted his gaze to her, his expression unreadable. "I had asked Aemond for a bit of a history lesson and got... a bit carried away. It won't happen again."
"I'd hope not," he replied, his tone softening. "Especially if you still wish to join us in the training yard. You'll need your rest too, Lady Rhae."
"Of course, Ser Criston. My apologies."
Ser Criston studied the pair closely, before relinquishing with a deep sigh.
"I suppose there's no harm done. It is not yet midnight, but we are near it." Cole nods towards the prince. "Aemond, escort Lady Rhae back to her room and head off to bed. I must report back to my station... I trust you won't wander."
"Your trust is not misplaced, Ser Criston." Aemond said, his look of shame dissolving into one of pride. The boy clearly held his responsibilities in high regard.
They bade Ser Criston goodnight, then took off down the halls at a brisk pace. Rhae could feel the gaze of the knight following them until they turned a corner.
"Is he always so scary?" Rhae asked in a hushed voice as they climbed the steps toward her room.
"Scary?" Aemond looked puzzled at this. "Well... I suppose he might come off that way to others, but Ser Criston is an excellent knight! I should've warned you he might come to check on us, he often does. He can be stern, but he merely wishes to keep us safe."
Rhae still had her reservations about Ser Criston, but Aemond's perspective was an influential one. Aemond clearly held Cole—both his teachings and his opinion—in high regard. All things considered, Rhae supposed she ought to be grateful to have someone so intimidating looking out for her. So long as she stayed away from his bad side, perhaps she could come to fully view the knight the same way Aemond did.
"Had he said you would join us in the training yards?" Aemond asked as they reached the top of their flight. Rhae nodded.
"He said he would teach me to wield a sword myself, if I'd like," Rhae said.
"And would you?"
"Very much."
Aemond laughed.
"What's so funny?" Rhae asked, instantly defensive. It wouldn't be the first time she'd been mocked for her desire to learn combat.
"Nothing, nothing... I'm sorry," Aemond said, looking to her with admiration. "I think that's great—you could be just like Visenya!"
Relief washed over Rhae.
"Well... maybe not that imposing," she smiled. "I can only hope to be a fraction as formidable."
"Have you trained before?"
"Not with a sword, no." Rhae explained, flexing her bandaged fingers. "My uncle had trained me with a bow back in Runestone."
Aemond eyed her nervously.
"You've mentioned your uncle, Ser Gerold, a few times," He said. "Was it him?"
"He taught me everything I know."
They continued a few paces in silence.
"I'm sorry for what happened to him," Aemond said, his voice soft. "And for what happened with Sheepstealer."
"There's no need to apologize," Rhae said, her voice thick. A lump had formed in her throat. "I'm responsible for my own failures, not you."
"I don't mean to insult you with pity," Aemond sighed. "I'm just... sorry that it happened. The gods can be cruel."
Rhae had received the same sentiments from the Queen, but she could see in the boy's face that this was more than an imitation of his mother. She didn't mean to reject his offering of compassion—there were very few who'd extended their condolences so sincerely.
"It's not all bad," she said, nudging him. "Ser Gerold tried his best, but Runestone was... lonely. I've never had a peer with which I could train and study." Aemond gave a closed-lip smile, looking pleased. They had reached Rhae's door. "If it hadn't happened, maybe I never would have come here. Then I'd never have met you."
"I suppose so." Even with nothing more than torches to light the hall, the blush in Aemond's cheek was visible. He rubbed at his elbow, not quite meeting her eye. "I'm really glad you're going to be around. You're not like the others."
"You shouldn't listen to the others," Rhae said firmly, remembering the teasing of Aegon and the Velaryon princes. "They're missing out, and they'll be sorry to have denied you when you've become a great warrior and dragon rider. You'll show them."
"Thank you, Rhae," Aemond said. His voice was quiet, but he at last met her gaze. "You will too. We'll do it together."
Rhae slung her good arm around Aemond's neck, pulling him into a loose hug. The gesture seemed to catch the boy by surprise, but he responded a moment later. Aemond was a head shorter than Rhae, and so he rest his chin upon her shoulder, head tilted against hers so that his silver hair brushed her cheek. Tentatively, he placed a hand on the middle of her back.
When Rhae pulled away, Aemond released quickly, not daring to impose himself. The boy was pink to his ears.
"We should do as Ser Criston says and get our rest," Rhae said, trying not to pay too much mind to the enchanted look upon his face.
"Right," he exhaled. "Goodnight Rhae."
"Goodnight Aemond."
Back in her room, Rhae finds that the movement seemed to have shaken her of sleepiness. A month's worth of tossing and turning in bed, her left side itching insistently, had made her accustomed to less rest. It was an unhealthy habit, but one she had developed nonetheless.
She decided to practice once more with her bow, invigorated by the mention of her resumed training. Rhae pulled the string back, holding it for as long as she could muster, before slowly releasing it back into a neutral position. In all her concentration, she did not notice a new presence enter the room.
"I didn't know you practiced with a bow," came a voice from behind.
" Fuck! " Rhae gasped, ringing her hand as her surprise prompted an early release. She spun around to face her unexpected guest, fingers stinging. "You scared me! What in the Seven Hells are you doing here?"
Aegon stood at the door.
"I tried knocking!" He said, arms raised defensively upon seeing the look on Rhae's face. "I didn't know you'd be practicing with a bow in your bedroom. It's nearly midnight, you know."
"I could've been sleeping!"
"You'd only just gotten back." Aegon waved a hand dismissively. How had he known that? Before she could ask, he continued. "Where'd you get that anyhow?"
"I brought it from Runestone," Rhae said gruffly, taking a seat on her bed and massaging the injury. Thankfully, the bandaging on her hand seemed to have protected against any damage to the skin, though it still throbbed painfully.
"Are you any good?" Aegon asked, taking a few steps deeper into the room.
"I was," Rhae replied, lifting her injured arm as best she could and waving it a little for emphasis. "Been a bit difficult to practice as of late..." Rhae glared at her guest. "And you didn't answer my question."
"Right," Aegon said, nearing the foot of her bed. "I came to see you about my invitation from earlier."
"To visit the dragon pit?" Aegon nodded. " Now ?"
"I'd settle for a walk if you're scared."
"Who said I was scared?"
Aegon smirked, leaning against the bedpost.
"It's late," Rhae insisted dodgily. "Surely we wouldn't be allowed to leave the castle at this hour."
"We surely aren't," Aegon agreed solemnly.
Rhae furrowed her brow. She'd just arrived a day prior—it would not be wise to wander about King's Landing unsupervised with the prince. It may cause a scandal. What would Alicent say?
Aegon seemed to read her mind.
"I promise you, if anyone's to be in trouble, it'll be me," he assured her. When Rhae opened her mouth to argue, Aegon hastened to cut her off. "That's if anyone even realizes we're gone, which almost never happens! My guard thinks I'm in my room even now."
"They don't seem like very good guard then," Rhae said concernedly. "How'd you manage that?"
"Secret passages! There are dozens, I'd wager. Like the one at the bottom of the staircase leading to your room, for instance."
His answer caught Rhae by surprise—this felt like the sort of thing you'd avoid telling strangers. Perhaps her second impression of Aegon was no more accurate than her first. He may be clever, but he was proving to be reckless, too—this was the second royal secret he'd spilt in the past day alone. Perhaps it was her fault for thinking that the two traits may be mutually exclusive.
"Are you always so forthcoming?" She scoffed.
"Do you always ask this many questions?"
Her eyes narrowed—if the Prince was going to insist upon over sharing, perhaps she could use it to her advantage.
"I do." Rhae said, standing abruptly. "And if I'm coming with you, I'm going to have very many more."
"Deal."
Shit . There was no getting out of it now.
Rhae huffed, then dug through her chests, looking for a suitable cloak. She still wore her attire from the day—a deep blue gown made of linen. It was simple and lightweight, easy for traveling, though she wished for some trousers.
"Sometime tonight, perhaps?"
"I wasn't exactly prepared for an outing, you know."
Once she'd emptied half her things onto the floor, Rhae at last found a gray hooded cloak with silver fastenings. She swung it awkwardly over her shoulder, left arm stiff, following Aegon to the door. He pressed his ear against the wood as she fiddled with the clasp, bandaged fingers fumbling.
"Come on," Aegon whispered, creaking the door open. Rhae had still not fastened her cloak, and so she gripped it at her throat as she followed him into the hall and down the stairs.
Aegon stood on the bottom-most step, reaching up towards the nearest torch. Rhae watched in awe as he gave a tug, and the wall opened up on unseen hinges.
"Ladies first," he whispered, holding it open a crack. Still clutching her cloak, she slid beneath his arm and through the hidden door. Aegon followed, closing the false wall behind him. The passageway which they entered was narrow and dark, except for a lantern resting upon the ground.
"The guards," Rhae whispered, watching as Aegon picked up the lantern. "Will they be able to hear us through the wall?"
"Not likely," Aegon replied, his voice only slightly lower than usual. "But I haven't really tested it. I don't usually have company."
"Usually?"
"Ever," Aegon admitted. The pair set off down the dimly lit path together, the prince leading the way.
"How'd you learn about this?"
"Targaryen family secrets," he said dryly. "Not that anyone bothered to tell me. I found them myself. It's said that King Maegor ordered them built during his reign, then had all the builders hung to preserve their secrecy."
"Seems cruel."
"Yeah, well, he was known for that." Aegon took a sharp turn, and Rhae bumped against the wall. "He was a paranoid man, wanting to make sure he could escape the castle if it were ever under siege. Didn't stop him being killed upon his throne, though."
Aegon's voice sounded heavy. Rhae had learned of Maegor's demise during lessons with her Septa—his killer was never discovered, if there was any. Some believed his wrists were gashed upon the Iron Throne itself.
"You said it was a Targaryen family secret. Do the others know of these paths?"
"Given how he went, I don't think it likely Maegor passed along his secrets so... I cannot say for certain. But I've never seen another." Aegon paused. "At least no person... rats, on the other hand." As if on cue, a large lump scurried across Rhae's foot. She yelped in surprise, crashing into the prince. Aegon snickered. "You get used to it."
Rhae wasn't so sure she wanted to.
"If you're the only one that knows about these... Why share them with me? We've only just met."
"Mother said we were to make you feel welcome."
Rhae didn't feel that this answer was satisfactory, but before she could interrogate further, Aegon came to a full stop, and she bumped into him once more. Aegon hung the lantern upon a hook above their heads, and through the dim light of the fire, Rhae could see Aegon press his ear against the wall. When he turned back to her, he held his finger indicatively to his lips.
"We're almost to the end, but we'll have to leave the light behind." Aegon whispered. "The tunnel out is dark and rough, but you should be fine if you stick close to me." As he said this, he extended an arm for Rhae to grab hold of—but Rhae was still holding her cloak to her neck, still not having managed the clasps from before.
"I... um..." Rhae tried and failed once more to fasten the garment, her injured arm feeling tight as she tried to bend her elbow to use both hands. "These stupid bandages..."
Realizing her struggle, Aegon hastened to help.
"Here," he said. Rhae lifted her chin upwards, but with the light so dim and far above, Aegon had to lean in to better see what he was doing. Her face felt hot— how embarrassing, she thought. "You could've asked before we left, you know." The clip upon her cloak came together at last.
"Thank you," she mumbled, now able to take hold of his forearm. They slipped past another hidden door, leaving the lantern and its light behind. The new space they found themselves in was larger, but just as dark. Rhae supposed they must be outside the castle now, in some sort of tunnel. They'd passed from smooth stone onto uneven ground, which rose and dipped unexpectedly underfoot. She was aimless if not for Aegon, who seemed sure of his step—the closer behind him she followed, the less she staggered and stumbled.
"I hope you know where you're going," she whispered. Aegon didn't answer, but she felt certain he was smirking.
At last Rhae spied a light ahead. It was not a door they approached, but a crevice.
"It's a bit of a squeeze," Aegon said, voice low. "I don't think Maegor ever tried this path himself."
Rhae pressed past the rock into a vacant alleyway. A cool breeze brushed her face, and she turned her head up towards towering turrets as the prince came stumbling out after her. They were outside the castle's walls, at the base of Aegon's High Hill.
"Come on," Aegon said, grabbing her hood and tugging it over her eyes. Rhae pushed him playfully, glad to be outside again. The success of their escape from the castle raised her spirits—Rhae was nervous still, but excitement gripped her now. She adjusted her hood to hide her hair, Aegon doing the same with his. "We've still got a way to go before we reach the Dragonpit."
The first few streets they encountered were quiet, but the farther they traveled, the more they teemed with activity. Walking along the Street of Sisters, they came upon performers, whores, merchants and bumbling drunkards.
"How often do you do this?" Rhae asked, eyeing the nearest group of inebriated men warily.
"Truthfully?"
"That is why I ask."
"Most nights."
"That's why you're nodding off in lessons, is it?"
Aegon grinned.
"You sound like Aemond."
"Maybe he has a point," Rhae insisted.
"You wound me," Aegon said, clutching at his heart. He spun on his heel, walking backwards now, facing her as he spoke. "Must you ruin our trip?"
"It is not ruined. " Rhae scoffed. "What have you got against him, anyway?"
"Nothing, it's just... he's my younger brother," Aegon said with a shrug. "Which makes him a twat. Besides, someone needs to keep him humble."
"Keep him humble ?" Rhae glared. "Is that what you call it?'
"Aemond will be fine. I've got to capitalize while I can!" Aegon said, rolling his eyes as Rhae frowned. "You've seen him in lessons, and it's just the same in the training yard! Mother's favorite, Helaena's favorite... yours , by the sound of it. Once he gets a dragon I'll have lost all my cards. He'll be the best of us, with my antagonizing and without your worries."
"He certainly will be." Rhae meant for her words to be more biting, but they lost their edge at the concession of Aemond's virtues. She hadn't expected for Aegon to seem so envious of his brother. He was a bit of an ass, but once again, there seemed to be more to Aegon than she'd given him credit for.
"Besides," he continued. "Not that you'd know this, having never met your siblings, but it just comes with the territory."
Rhae sulked at the mention of her sisters.
"I can't help that I've never met them," she grumbled.
"Certainly not," Aegon said, biting at his lip. Rhae avoided his gaze. "Do you want to?"
"I'm supposed to be the one asking questions here."
"I've answered plenty!" Aegon protested. "Come on, it's your turn."
Rhae sighed, contemplating. She thought of her sisters more than she'd care to admit. Daemon hadn't slaughtered their mother. He'd stayed for them, and as far as Rhae knew, cared for them. Her life would be much different if she were born to Laena Velaryon. It filled her with guilt, but sometimes she wished she had.
"I don't know what I would say to them," Rhae muttered. "But... yeah. I suppose I would."
"Daemon... he lives with them in Essos now, right?"
"Last I'd heard."
"And what about him?"
"What about him?"
"He's your father, isn't he?" Aegon raised a brow. "Haven't you ever wanted to meet him?"
"You're pushing it."
"I'll take that as a 'no', then."
"I didn't say that!"
"So... yes?"
"Stop it."
"It's a simple question!"
"I don't know!" Rhae huffed, throwing a hand up irritably. "I mean... a little, I guess. But what's the point? I'm sure it would end poorly. He's never wanted to meet me, has he? Otherwise it wouldn't really be a question."
Aegon nodded, looking deep in thought. His demeanor lacked malice.
"Fathers are overrated anyhow," he said.
He sauntered backwards still, unaware of the thickening crowd behind him. Rhae peered past the prince, trying to identify the source of the gathering.
"Um... Aegon..."
Before she could get his attention, a mass of people parted as several men came crashing through, grappling with bloodied fists and faces.
"Watch out!" Rhae exclaimed, grabbing Aegon by the hand and pulling him away from the brawl. She spied City Guards pushing through the crowd towards them. "We should get out of here."
"Right," Aegon said, pulling at his hood anxiously. Gripping her hand, he led her in a new direction. "This way!"
They ducked into another alleyway, quickly putting distance between themselves and the fight. Another pair of guards rushed past, but paid them no mind.
"How much farther?" Rhae asked, casting a glance over her shoulder at the commotion they'd fled.
"We're nearly there," Aegon assured her. He no longer tugged her forward, slowing his pace so their steps fell in line. After a few moments, Rhae realized they were still holding hands. She let go, blushing.
"The Dragonpit... is there a secret passage to get in there as well?"
"Not really, no," Aegon said. "But we won't need one. There's not that many guards really, the dragons are a strong enough deterrent on their own."
Rhae's stomach churned—the prospect of confronting another dragon scared her. She knew she'd have to, eventually, but she hadn't expected to hurdle towards that future so soon.
"Will it be safe?"
Rhae braced herself for teasing.
"I promise."
They waited in the alley as a pair of guards strolled past, before quickly rounding the large domed structure before them. Rather than climbing the steps to the bronze doors that marked the main entrance, Aegon led Rhae to the base of the hill. To her surprise, Aegon opened a wooden door leading into the ground with ease.
"The dragonkeepers don't always bother with locking doors," Aegon said as they slid through. There was no need to keep their voices down—the room they found themselves in was full of pens. Goats and pigs bleated and oinked at the disturbance. "The consequence of thieving from the dragons is to be fed to them."
They crept about the place, but they encountered no one. The smell was unbearable, and the sights were strange. One room seemed to be filled with dragon scales and half-finished armor, another contained the largest saddles Rhae had ever seen. In yet another, Aegon collected a heavy looking satchel, but did not elaborate on its purpose. At last they came upon a heavy steel door at the end of a long, dark hallway.
"This leads directly into the pits, Sunfrye is kept closeby," Aegon explained. Rhae was trying not to tremble, but she could not stop imagining the glow of fire deep within Sheepstealer's gullet. The cries of Ser Gerold echoed in her ears. "I don't intend to kill us, you know."
"Yes, well..." Rhae took a deep breath, trying to hold her composure. "I've learned once already that intent means very little to dragons."
"Sunfyre's not like other dragons," Aegon said confidently, a hint of pride in his tone. "You'll love him, I'm certain of it. Just stick close."
Rhae followed the prince into the pits, which were sparsely lit by torches hung on decaying columns of stone. The chambers were great. Rhae felt small.
A trill echoed from deep within the cavern, sending shivers down Rhae's spine. She clung to the prince's arm instinctively.
"He knows we're here," Aegon whispered, before calling out: " Rytsas, queldios gevyvis !"
A spout of flames erupted, but Aegon pressed forward without fear. Rhae's heart pounded in her chest as they neared—she could not see the dragon well, but in the darkness she could tell that Sunfyre was much smaller than Sheepstealer. She found no real comfort in that. When they neared, the dragon rushed forward, straining against his chains.
"Hold this," Aegon said, passing the satchel to Rhae. She released his arm, wishing his confidence was in any way contagious. "Sunfyre, I've brought a friend! Raqiros. Be calm, Sunfyre! Gidon."
The dragon trilled, lowering his head to Aegon's height and, without warning, pushed his rider to the ground. Shit , Rhae thought. But Aegon was laughing, his dragon nuzzling into his outstretched arms.
"Jerk," Rhae heard him say. Aegon turned to beckon to her. "C'mon, he won't bite."
Rhae approached timidly, holding the satchel to her stomach. Aegon got to his feet, resting one hand on Sunfyre's head, and reaching out to Rhae with the other.
"Friend, Sunfyre. Raqiros ... Raqiros ..." Aegon put an arm around Rhae's shoulder once she was close enough. "You can pet him if you'd like."
Rhae could feel the warm breath expelled from Sunfyre's nostrils—up close, she could see that his scales shimmered like gold. Green eyes stared at her as she extended a hand, and with baited breath, she pressed her palm to the dragon's snout.
"Holy shit," Rhae let out a nervous laughter, Sunfyre trilling contentedly. "I'm... I'm petting a dragon."
Aegon strode over to the side of the cave, fetching a large metal basin Rhae hadn't noticed before. He rolled it over so that it rested in front of Sunfyre, then, taking the satchel from Rhae, opened it to reveal that it was full of coal. He dumped its contents into the basin, motioning for Rhae to step back.
Rhae didn't need telling twice—she hadn't forgotten the heat of the flames expelled in her direction when Sheepstealer took his offering. She backed up as far as she could, pressed against the wall.
"Sunfyre," Aegon said. " Dracarys !"
Sunfyre's flames were as golden as his scales, and the basin ignited. Aegon sat beside the burning coals, fire giving way from their golden hue to a flickering orange. Sunfyre rest his head in his rider's lap and, sensing it was safe, Rhae re-approached to sit with them.
"Isn't he sort of... crushing you?"
"I couldn't get up if I tried," Aegon admitted, rubbing Sunfyre's head affectionately. "What do you think?"
"Best dragon ever," Rhae relented, leaning in to stroke his scales once more.
"Told you so," Aegon grinned. "You should see him in the air—a real show-off, he is."
Sunfyre trilled again, seemingly in agreement. The three of them sat in content silence, cozy by the fire. Rhae yawned and, feeling bolder, rested her head upon the prince's shoulder. Moments later, she felt his own head bump against hers.
"You know, I don't think you really answered my question from before," Rhae said after a while.
"Which one?"
"Why did you invite me here?"
"I answered that one," Aegon said. "Mother wanted us to make you feel welcome."
"Helaena invited me to tea."
Aegon sighed.
"Do you not know what you're here for?"
Rhae picked her head up and sat straight, eyes narrowing at the prince.
"What do you mean?"
"To study, and to train," Aegon mused. "Maybe even claim a dragon for yourself. Right?"
"...Right."
"And surely you know what our dragons have been used for?"
Of course Rhae knew. War. Conquering.
"Taking things," she said, thinking of Daemon's years-old threat on Runestone.
"And defending them."
"What are you getting at?"
Aegon's eyes were on his dragon, face pensive.
"Someday soon Sunfyre and I will have to fly for more than leisure," he said somberly. "That's what mother says. The King is not a healthy man."
Rhae inhaled sharply.
"You speak of succession."
"I'd rather not," Aegon admitted. "But as the King's firstborn son, I'm not often given the choice."
"But... Rhaenyra was named heir."
"Her claim is weak," Aegon pointed out. "It defies precedent, and worse yet, her sons are bastards."
Rhae tensed—they had found themselves on the topic of treason once more.
"What does this have to do with me?"
"Hopefully, nothing," Aegon said. "I have no interest in stealing my sister's crown. Even if she weren't heir, I want nothing to do with it."
"Truly?"
Aegon nodded, chewing at his lip.
"You've seen the King—how the throne rots away and eats at him. It is a death sentence." Aegon laughed bitterly. "It's funny, really, for as much as my father seems to resent me, denying my birthright might be the kindest gesture he's ever made. Rhaenyra can keep it."
Rhae sat with this for a moment, thinking of how dark Aegon's tone turned when they'd discussed Maegor's murder. It was true that the seat had a bloody history.
"If you don't want the throne, what's the trouble?"
"The lords may demand it—the Great Council declared for Viserys on the same principle. If not me, it would be Aemond. If not him, many would still see Daeron ascend before our sister."
"And if you all refuse?"
"You're clever, Rhae." Aegon shifted uncomfortably, legs pinned beneath Sunfyre's giant head. "Surely you can see what fears plague my mother. Why she's brought you here."
Rhae feared she did. She was reminded of Jon's words, before she left for King's Landing:
To question the succession of the royal line could mean death to you, me, and all of our House!
What might come of the boys that caused such a question?
You should understand better than anyone that the royal family has little regard for what is right and what is wrong.
"She hopes that I might defend your claim."
Aegon exhaled deeply, Sunfyre doing the same through his nose. Rhae took the hot stream of air blown in her face as confirmation. Her heart felt heavy—she had only herself to blame for not seeing the ulterior motives behind the Queen's actions. If Aegon knew of her agenda, had Helaena and Aemond too? Was it all a farce?
Rhae sniffed, mulling over this new information in silence. The dejected look upon Aegon's face felt telling. She believed he was telling the truth—both about the plans to recruit Rhae to defend his claim, and his distaste for having a claim at all. He didn't seem pleased to have shared such an unpleasant truth. Surely Alicent wasn't any gladder to have to make these preparations, and at present, that was all they were. Cautionary measures. It didn't have to mean that the words they exchanged over dinner were disingenuous. Could alliances and friendships not come together, hand in hand?
"I didn't bring you here just to discuss usurpation," he mumbled. "Mother wanted you to think highly of us but... I did too. I didn't mean to worry you, but you deserved to know. I hope I didn't ruin things."
"It's not ruined," Rhae said softly. They sat in silence awhile longer, watching the fire flicker before them.
" Hioras," Aegon said at last . Rhae thought this must be some command to rise, for Sunfyre lifted his neck, releasing his rider from his weight. Aegon stretched his legs before standing, offering Rhae a hand up. "We should return to the castle... try and get some sleep before morning. It'll take nearly another hour to get back."
"Right," Rhae yawned, allowing Aegon to help pull her to her feet. She watched as Aegon dragged the basin of coals to the side of the cavern, dumping them in the dirt. He returned to her side, shoulders slouched. "Thank you for being honest with me. I hope none of these fears come to pass, but I'm glad someone is keeping me informed. Ser Gerold... he oft handled such matters. I’m lost without him."
"Yeah," Aegon murmured. "Of course."
"I'm glad you brought me along," she continued, determined to have a happy end to their exploits. She believed him to be genuine—the concerns that plagued the prince seemed remarkably similar to her own. She liked him, more than she cared to admit. "Really." Aegon smiled slightly at this, while Sunfyre nudged at Rhae's stomach. She patted his jaw.
"Just don't forget to marvel at Sunfyre like it's the first time you've seen him when you make your official visit to the Dragonpit."
"That shouldn't be too hard," Rhae grinned as the dragon trilled once more.Their journey back to the Red Keep was much quicker and quieter than when they'd left, the streets mostly cleared of the ruckus and rabble they'd encountered before. The pair spoke little—a result of both exhaustion and tension. Rhae eyed the prince many times during their travels, hoping to glean what thoughts may be going through his head. More than once she found him watching her just as closely, and they would take turns making some passing remark on their surroundings. Neither seemed capable of their previous quips.
Through the crevice and up the tunnel to the castle, Aegon led Rhae delicately by the hand. It took some time to locate the secret door in the wall, but once they pried it open, they found the lantern flickering still on the other side. By the time they reached their starting point, the false wall at the bottom of the stairs, Rhae had grown bleary-eyed.
"Think you'll be able to make it to your room alright?" Aegon asked, holding her exit ajar.
"I should manage," Rhae whispered, and before she could lose her wits, she pressed a kiss to his cheek. "Goodnight Aegon." Ducking beneath his arm, Rhae hurried up the first few steps of the staircase. When she looked back over her shoulder, the prince had not yet sealed the wall shut, a stupefied look upon his face. "Well?" she hissed.
"Right," Aegon said, shaking his head with a lopsided smile. "Goodnight, Rhae."
The wall closed, looking once more like it was incapable of opening at all. The sound of boots sounded down the hall, and Rhae hurried to her room, shutting herself in. Dazedly, she fumbled to remove her cloak and gown, and from the moment her head hit the pillow, she was already asleep.

Out For Dessert (Rhea X Liv Fic)
Rhea and Liv won their match on Monday night. They had their little backstage interview in which Liv kept complimenting Rhea and making her blush. They talked about celebrating Wrestlemania and going out for dessert that night. Once they parted ways with the interviewer, they talked to each other.
“So I know of this perfect resturant with some good desserts, but I want it to be a surprise.” Liv grinned.
“Alright, so what time are we gonna go?” Rhea asked.
“I’ll come and pick you up at 10:30pm.”
“Alright, see ya then.”
Rhea and Liv parted ways, heading back home, after changing out of their wrestling gear.
They both took their showers and got ready. Rhea dressed in black pants, a black button up shirt, and a black suit jacket. She slicked her hair all the way back and put on some Old Spice Cologne.
Liv put on a short black skirt, a white blouse, and a feminine sparkly suit jacket. She put on some floral perfume, it was a light smell not too overwhelming. She headed out the door, driving to Rhea’s place.
She got out of her black sports car and nervously knocked on the door. Rhea answered, standing there looking all hot in her suit! Liv’s mouth almost hit the floor.
“Wow, you look really hot!” Liv said.
Rhea tried not to blush but did a bit, “Look who’s talkin!”
Liv grabbed Rhea’s hand as they headed to the car. Once in the car, they headed out to the resturant. They pulled in noticing that the place didn’t seem overly busy for that time of night.
“Hmm we just might have this place to ourselves.” Liv winked.
“I’m okay with that.” Rhea smiled.
They went inside and got seated, noticing there were a few couples at tables. An older man and woman were at a table not far from them. They kept awkwardly looking at Rhea and Liv.
Liv whispered to Rhea, “Let’s not worry about them, we have things to celebrate.”
Rhea smiled, “Oh I’m not worried babe, they are just jealous of how good you look!”
Liv blushed, “Oh babe stop! ”
The waiter came and took their order. Liv looked at Rhea, “I was thinking the strawberry cake..”
Rhea nodded, “That sounds good.”
“Okay we’ll have the strawberry cake and one large chocolate milkshake.”
“Wait, I’m lactose intolerant, so do you have Almond Milk?”
The waiter smiles, “We can make a Chocolate Almond Milk Smoothie.”
“Sounds perfect.” Rhea says.
The female waiter nods, “How many of those?”
Liv is quick to answer, “Just one please, we’ll share.”
The waiter smiles, “Okay coming right up.”
“Why are you still blushing?” Liv asks.
“You told her we’re sharing, I mean you didn’t have to say it.”
“Oh come on, was that so bad?” Liv asks.
“I’m just shy sometimes but don’t tell anyone.” Rhea replies.
“I think your shy side is so cute and attractive.”
The waiter comes with their cake and drink. “There you go, enjoy!”
Liv cuts the cake, giving Rhea a slice and then puts a slice on her own plate. Rhea is about to eat it when Liv stops her.
“Why can’t I eat?”
Liv grins and puts some cake on her fork. “Here taste it off of mine first.”
Rhea grins and shakes her head, taking a bite. “Mm so good but you know it’s the same cake.”
“Well, maybe I wanted your mouth on my fork.”
Rhea almost chokes on her cake cause she starts laughing a bit. “Girl, do you realize how that sounded?”
Liv bites her lip, “Sounded kinda hot right?”
“I can’t handle you girl!”
They both eat their cake. All the other people finish their food and leave. Rhea and Liv are now alone in the resturant. Rhea takes a sip of the chocolate almond shake, then Liv does. Rhea goes for the straw again after Liv drinks from it.
“You know maybe later I wanna taste those lips.” Rhea says.
“Why not right now, no one is in here?”
Rhea looks at the workers, “Um yeah people still are.”
“I thought you were a rebel.” Liv teases.
“Okay fine, I’ll show you a rebel.”
Rhea leans over the table and kisses Liv gently. They break apart from the kiss as the waiter comes over.
“Are you two finished?” The waiter asks.
Rhea and Liv both blush, “Um yeah sorry about that.” Liv says.
The waiter smiles, “I hope you enjoyed the food as much as the kiss.”
Rhea blushes hard, “Sorry but we’ll pay and get out of here.”
The waiter smiles warmly, “You two are honestly adorable so please don’t apologize for loving each other.”
Rhea and Liv breathe a sigh of relief as they pay for the food. They give the waiter a $35 tip.
“Thanks for being awesome!” Rhea says.
They walk out of the resturant giggling on their way to Liv’s car. Once they get inside the car, they talk.
“I thought we were gonna get kicked out or something.” Rhea says.
“I was brave until the waiter saw cause I thought maybe she was grossed out or mad.” Liv says.
“Yeah but babe being with you is worth it.”
Liv tears up, “Rhea, you’re so sweet and I feel the same.”
They kiss each other gently in the car before finally driving off.

Please
Tumblr media
*GIF NOT MINE*
As you wish boss -Rio (Good Girls)
Hey love ! Thanks for your request, hope you like what I wrote ☺️ Enjoy some smut 👅 This is a longer one and I wrote it late at night , it’s not proofread sorry in advance
Also this takes place in season 2 before Ben transitionned so that’s why there is mention of Sadie
Warning: Language, Smut
Word Count : 3k
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“I need to get Stan out of there” Ruby said panicking as you and Annie tried to comfort her.  Turner had arrested him Tuesday morning and Ruby couldn’t stop crying.
“I know we said we were out, but it’s the fastest way to get the money to bail him out” You called out looking at the both of them
“We could do it!” Annie said confidently “Plus we could all use the money, my sister doesn’t have to know” she continued
“We can’t go behind her back Annie” Ruby replied shaking her head disapproving of the idea. She didn’t want to do that to her bestfriend, but part of her was in need of the cash. “We need to tell Beth”
“We can’t, she’s an addict Ruby, it would be like giving a drink to an alcoholic. She’s trying her best and it wouldn’t be fair of us to bring her back in after all the effort she has done. It would only be one time, enough to get Stan out, enough to help (Y/N) with the divorce and enough for me and Sadie”Annie said trying to convince her.
“I mean, how would we even do it? Did you forget about the fact that we’ve been banned for every wholesale store? Beth’s the one who came up with the idea”
“As much as I love my sister, we don’t need her for that, we all have brains, let’s use them and find a way, it’s shouldn’t be too hard” Annie answered
“And how do we even find this guy, I mean Beth’s always been the one contacting him. Do you even know how to get to the man?” Ruby couldn’t believe she was even thinking about it
“I’ll do it” you said, finally speaking “I’ll get in contact with him”
“And how will you do that?” Ruby said finishing her coffee
“Let me take care of it” you replied, taking her mug to fill it in.
“Don’t” she said motioning to your hands “I have to go get the kids from school, we’ll catch up later”she continued standing up, picking up her purse before leaving
“Ok, so we’re really doing this?” Annie said excitedly
“I guess so, it’s going to help all of us, especially Ruby” you sighed “Anyway, anything to take my mind off of my stupid ex” you said rolling your eyes
“How are you doing by the way, with this whole situation?”
“I’m fine, the kids are starting to get used to it slowly, they’re often talking about his new girlfriend though, it’s kinda pissing me off. I mean he’s the one who fucked up and he gets to be happy with someone else? Like don’t get me wrong, I’m good without him, I wasn’t happy anymore, I was staying with him for the kids. It’s not like we had sex often, but it’s the only thing I miss, you know?” You asked shrugging your shoulders. Of course, you were taking care of yourself when you felt the need to, but you couldn’t help but admit you were missing the touch of a man.
“I get it” she chuckled
You talked for a bit before she left, leaving you all alone as you washed the dishes. When the kids came back from school, you prepared their bags for the weekend as they were going on a camping trip with their father and his new bimbo. He was coming to get the two little ones while you were going to your eldest’s baseball game.
“You have everything? Don’t forget I’m dropping you off at your dads after the game and he won’t be happy if you’re missing something” You said to him as you both hopped in the car, fastening your seatbelt.
“Don’t worry mom, I have everything. Can we go now? I don’t want to be late, Marcus said we could practice together before the game” He said as you drove off.
You never told the girls before, but your son was on the same team as Rio’s son. You didn’t see each other often, most of the time, Rhea was taking him to his games, but when you did see him, you would glance at each other from across the bleachers. He was a totally different person when Marcus was around. He still looked intimidating, but you could see his softer side when he would smile and clap as his son made a good play, encouraging him.
As you arrived at the field, your son went running to Marcus as you looked through the bleachers trying to find a familiar figure. Today was just your luck, as you saw Marcus’s dad sitting there, typing on his phone, probably taking care of business as he waited for the game to start. You made your way towards him, while other women stared at you as you sat next to the man dressed in black. He lifted his eyes from his phone, watching you, as you played with your own fingers.
“How you doing mama?” he said, his voice deep, hearing a gasp coming from a lady behind you. Rio was attractive and you weren’t the only one agreeing to that. Maybe it was the confidence, the danger, the relationship he had with his kid or even the neck tattoo, but you were not the only mom swooning over him. The difference with you, was that you didn’t let it show. They were always trying to get his attention, by sitting next him or trying to make conversation. Some of them even brought juice boxes and snacks for Marcus, trying to make him like them by gaining his son’s appreciation. You, on the other hand, never sat close to him or even spoke to him. Your relationship was strictly business related but it didn’t stop you from thinking about him in a different aspect. You didn’t want to admit it, but you sometimes happened to be thinking about him while pleasuring yourself. You couldn’t help but think about his dark seductive eyes or even his plump lips, and the fact that a man hadn’t touched you for what felt like years made you wish he would roam your body with his strong veiny hands.
You coughed softly “We need to talk” you said looking towards the field
“Yeah? About what” he replied smirking down at you
“Not here” you answered, not wanting to meet his amused eyes “Tonight, my house” you whispered as the game started. You didn’t talk after that you could feel his eyes on you from time to time and you could hear the bickering from behind you making you roll your eyes internally. As the kids won their game, Marcus and your son came running towards you two, looking happier than ever.
“Dad did you see that?” Marcus asked his dad, jumping around excitedly
“I did pap, you did great, who’s your friend?” he said looking at your son
“That’s Lucas, we always practice together”
“Well nice to meet you little man” Rio said smiling at Lucas “We have to go, but I guess I’ll see you around yeah?” He semi asked diverting his gaze towards you, winking, before leaving
You proceeded to go back to your car, heading towards your ex’s house, dropping off Lucas for the weekend
You later got ready as you opted for a more revealing but still classy outfit, waiting for Rio to come over. You were coming down the stairs as you heard a knock, taking a deep breath before opening the door, surprised to meet your ex’s figure.
“Are you going somewhere? You look hot” he said eyeing up and down as you scoffed, rolling your eyes
“What do you want David?”
“Lucas forgot his headphone, he needs them for the ride”
You sighed “Wait here” you got to your son’s room, picking what he needed before going back downstairs, shoving them on his chest “Goodbye David” You said slamming the door to his face. You walked through the kitchen as you grabbed a glass pouring some gin into it. You took a sip as you heard the door open again
“Ok David, what do you want now I told you I-“ you stopped dead in your track as your eyes laid on the tall criminal that stood in front of you.
“That’s not a very nice welcome mama” Rio smirked, his voice thick and croaky, sending shivers down your spine
“You could’ve knocked” You responded your voice laced with attitude as you tried to sound unfazed by his actions
“That’s no fun though” Rio threw back avoiding your remark, stepping closer to the kitchen island as you stood on the other side, fixing him a glass. As you made it slide across the countertop. He took it, nodding at you, before taking a sip himself
“Why did you want to see me (Y/N)?” he questioned you as you tried your best not to look surprised that he actually knew your name. It was the first time you heard him say it and it made you quiver slightly. “We want to do business” You said trying to sound confident as you took another sip of your drink
“I thought you said you were out” he looked amused as he gazed at your fidgeting fingers
“Well, you see, Beth is out, that doesn’t mean we need to stop doing business with you” you swallowed the remaining of your drink, hoping it would give you a boost of confidence. “Of course, no need to mention, it would stay between us” You said stepping a few feet closer to him but not close enough to reach him
“And how would you wash the money” he asked downing his glass, looking deeply into your eyes, a grin plastered on his face
“Why don’t you let me take care of that, you just need to provide the money, and we’ll do the rest for you” You managed to say with a pleasant smile, proud by your assurance
“Ok so 500 g’s to start, and we’ll see how it goes” He shrugged, his voice filled with pure enjoyment as he watched your eyes grow slightly bigger
“500 grand?” You gulped. How would you do that in a week, you didn’t even know how you would proceed to wash all the money
“If you can’t handle it, I can find someone else for the job” he said stepping closer to you
“We’ll handle it” You responded immediately, almost cutting him off. You turned around as you filled both of your drinks, taking a sip right after you put the bottle back on the kitchen counter.
He stared at you, an amused smile on his lips as you almost gulp down the entirety of its content
“Good” he said looking at his glass, now full. “Was there anything else you wanted from me?” he said as he took in your outfit. You were dressed in all black, his favorite color and he couldn’t help but admit that you looked amazing. Beth was good looking, but he always found you breath taking. He took another step forward, facing you completely, your chest almost touching as you hold in a gasp, now feeling nervous. You breathed threw your nose, processing the words that would next come out of your mouth before looking straight at him.
“I want you to fuck me” you said trying to sound confident and demanding. He looked at you closely trying to find one thing that would indicate that you were messing with him
“Don’t joke around mama” He stated raising his left eyebrow, eyes filled with lust, licking his lips softly.
“If you’re not the man for the job, I can always find someone else” you managed to say, surprising yourself with your boldness, as you rephrased the words he said earlier. A smirk appeared on his lips as you went to take a step back to get away from him. He decided otherwise, grabbing your arm, pulling your body to him as you slammed against his firm chest, crashing his mouth to yours, almost gasping startled by his actions. His lips were soft and sweet but at the same time so rough. Your hand moved to the back of his neck wanting more, as you felt him smirk withing the kiss. You had been fantasizing about this for a moment now, and by the looks of it he had been too. His touches were hungry and intense, his hands grasping your waist tightly as you let a muffled moan past your lips. You both pulled away to catch your breath as you diverted your kisses to his neck. You’d always dreamed of putting your mouth on the dark ink covering his throat and you were finally being able to do it.
“Fuck” he murmured as your hands moved up his back, taking his shirt off interrupting your kisses on his neck for a few seconds. Your lips went right back to it, now having more skin to touch. Your hands made their way to his belt, undoing it, looking up at him biting your bottom lip. His eyes were filled with lust and desire, his hand grabbed your neck slightly as you let out a small gasp
“Do I need to remind you who I am sweetheart?” he asked, not liking that you questioned his competence
“Maybe you do” you said with a devilish grin. Your words were enough for Rio to turn you around and to bend you over the counter. His hands found the waistband of your jeans pulling them down, growling at the sight of your almost bare ass. Rio yanked your underwear leaving the bottom half of your body completely naked.  You could feel the warm fluid slowly leaking out from your fold as you anticipated his next move.
“Never question my abilities mama” he said in a husky tone as he slapped your ass hard. You let out a loud moan already feeling the sting his hands left behind. He pressed his growing crotch against you lowering his mouth to your ear whispering.
“Am I clear?” He slapped your ass once again when you didn’t answer, making you whimper. You felt him take a step back as he dropped his pants coming back to press his erection against your bare skin. You pushed your body back to get even closer to him, but his hands steadied your figure, grabbing your hips firmly.
“Did you forget who’s in charge here?” He said teasing your slit with his erected member. “Let me show you” he continued as he pushed his tip inside of you slowly stretching you out making you moan. He groaned lowly as he rammed into you making you shriek in pleasure. It felt better than anything you’d ever imagined before. His tip was brushing your deep spot and you couldn’t contain yourself anymore, screaming as he pushed in and out of you at a fast pace. The pleasure was immaculate as you stood on your tiptoes giving him an even better access to your aching core. He slapped your ass one more time before grabbing a fistful of your hair, bringing you to him as he started kissing bellow your ear.
“Fuck, you’re soaking wet for me” He stated, moving his hand to rub your needy clit. The way he was playing with the bundle of nerves between your shaky legs, brought you closer to the edge.
“Is that what you wanted mama? Am I fucking you good enough?” He asked as your eyes rolled back making you see stars from the pleasure he was giving you. Each stroke was getting deeper and deeper as you grabbed the kitchen counter, moaning loudly, encouraging him to keep pleasuring you like he was doing. He rubbed your clit a little bit faster and before you could even comprehend what was happening, you were coming undone, clenching around him.
“Yes! Oh my- fuck Rio” you moaned, tears welling in your eyes as your orgasm took over you. He didn’t stop, but you could feel his thrusts getting sloppier indicating he was close to his release. The sight of your ass bouncing back against him was all it took for him to spill his loads into you, letting out a throaty groan. He pulled out of you slowly taking a step back pulling up his pants. You stood up, making your way to the bathroom, cleaning yourself as you put on a pair of shorts. As you came back in the kitchen, Rio was still there, finishing his drink, staring at you with a slight smirk on his face
“What’s with the smirk?” You asked trying to sound like someone who didn’t just get railed on the kitchen countertop. He downed his drink, putting it back on the island as he walked forward, standing in front of you. He looked you up and down, meeting your gaze, pulling a piece of your hair back from your face
“I got the job done, didn’t I?” he smiled cockily as you rolled your eyes
“Whatever” he laughed at the way you tried to ignore his previous question. You both knew you were satisfied with what had just happened moments ago even if you tried to hide it.
“I’ll contact you for the drop off” he said as you smiled content that the deal was still on
“As you wish, boss” you answered teasingly as he slapped your ass one last time before exiting throught the front door, leaving you shocked and alone. You liked it and you were scared to admit that you would like for it to happen again. That night, as you got into bed, your mind couldn’t help but wander to the man always dressed in all black. You couldn’t help but to think about his eyes, his hands, his mouth, his cock… Oh how he made you feel so good was not even understandable. Why would you even question his ability to please you? How was he so good at it? Everything he did was just … perfect.
The real question was: was there something he wasn’t good at?

Hello! I am a random anon but I wanted to leave some positivity and discuss with you since I agree with you. I will leave some anon and I look forward to chatting with you ^^ First, I'm a Ferdibert fan who dislikes Edelgard. So don't worry: there is good company lol Hubert and Ferdinand are my favorite Black Eagles. I resent the concept that one must love Edelgard to be able to ship them. Edelgard is not part of the ship: she's not mandatory to like Ferdibert at all. Her stans are insufferable.
Hi random anon! I'm sorry it took me so long to reply! First of all, I am so glad to hear there's more of us! I could never find the others like me before, and several people told me it was weird that I didn't which felt like gaslighting to me at the time since... well, I was actively searching and not finding anything. I feel like people are a bit more open to it privately but not publicly. I miss my otp, but I've lost all interest in fics and fanart from a cf universe. That being said, if you ever want to ask about my headcanons/au's or share your own, that is why I have my askbox open! I'm glad to have you and thankful that you reached out!
Tumblr media
Gosh, I remember they utter chilling silence I got in response when I said I thought she was a better villain than a protagonist previously. I've also seen several stans say that AM goes out of its way to make you hate her. Ironically, most people I hang out with now find AM to be the route she's the most sympathetic in! And I agree with you! She's tragic in AM, but there I could at least see her and be like "you know what, I feel like I understand you and I respect your choices." To me, AM is even, in a bitterweet way, a good end for her because ultimately she chooses her end there. She gets the very clear option of life or death, and she chooses death because to her it is the better alternative (why is another matter. Is she unwilling to surrender? Is she convinced that she will not be able to get her army to stand down? Has she just given up? Either way, death is her choice in that moment)
Tumblr media
It really is a shame that I think you're right. I was very very close to liking all of Houses, but with the caveat that CF is to me a villain route that is trying to make you feel like a hero. Y'know, like most villains feel they are. But after three years of discourse, I can't stand the route any more. And it is such a shame too because Fates had, as its whole point, that you need to play all routes to know the truth. And I really liked it when Houses came out that they seemingly went the same way. I like puzzling things together, I like seeing people theorize. And this time, it shot itself in the foot something fierce. And I really really hope they'll learn from it because if they keep going with this formula the FE series is in a bad state.
Tumblr media
I do love talkative asks so don't worry about that! And again, I agree with you. When I finished Houses I lauded it as one of my new fav games. I compared it to Path of Radiance, my fav in the series, because of how it gripped me. I thought it was a game that truly got into gray morality when I looked at Rhea, and I loved the tragedy of Ladle character and how she was basically repeating history because she refused to learn the truth of both past and present. And then fandom happened. It is tainted ground now. My roommate even told me not to play the games any more because he saw how it affected me. And it pains me because it didn't have to be this way! It could've been good! It could have been consistent! It could have had Good Routes instead of just A Fav Route And Damn The Rest. It frustrates me to no end. So... I'm really glad you sent all these asks. It made me feel a bit better. Feel free to send me any Ladle-less ferdibert thoughts!

HI HI! what about reader who is from mha world but then she ends up in aot world, where she meets her soulmate, Levi. Maybe she has his name in her skin or something?
A/N: I spent an hour planning on how this is going to go so I hope I got it right <3. I might need a wider spread of vocabulary... In other words I might need a dictionary. THIS TOOK ME LIKE 2 HOURS HA! I MANAGED! WATCH ME WORLD!
I do not own any characters from My Hero Academia or Attack On Titan.
My Hero Academia belongs to Kohei Horikoshi
&
Attack on titans belongs to Hajime Isayama
Summary: You’re a pro hero friends with Hawks and Endeavor. You’re fighting that nomu guy when he flung you and knocked you out unconscious. You wake up in the world full of titans but you still had your quirk.
Warnings: If you watched MHA the Nomu fight then you’re all good... If not Spoilers. Uh... Some angst and arguments... A bit of swearing and Name calling.
(Please keep in mind that you woke up in an unknown universe so I tried my best to replicate anyone’s reaction)
Soulmates. No matter what, they’ll always be together even if they’re near death, separated or gone through amnesia. They’ll always find each other no matter what it takes. In a world of quirks, there’s a quirk for everything. Time, water, fire, earth, air... ANYTHING! There’s even one for soulmates. A man who works in the hospital. His quirk was if you’ve been touched by him your soulmate’s name would appear on the place he touched. You had to be 16+ and single for him to use your quirk on you. You met him at the age of 18 and your wrist was labeled “Levi Ackerman”
You’re a pro hero and friend of Endeavour and Hawks. You did missions together often and today a Nomu showed up and you helped with the fight. Endeavour was in a bad shape and you’ve finished killing tiny Nomus so you went to help Endeavour but you got flung out of view. You landed on a rooftop; unconscious.
Your head was spinning but you managed to open your eyes. “Trees... Large ones... What the...” You mumbled. “HEY! WAKE UP! CMON LET’S GO BEFORE THE TITAN COMES” Someone yelled.
‘Was he talking to me?’ You thought.
He had to get you up from the ground and into a wooden cart where you blacked out once more.
You woke up in what looks like to be an infirmary. “What the hell?” You were thinking out loud, “Oh I get it... I’m dead” You concluded.
“Tch”
You looked at where the noise came from it was a short man with a stoic expression, black undercut hair, sitting on a chair with his legs crossed.
“You are certainly not dead, cadet,”
You looked at him. Damn he did he have a perfect look quirk or something? His beautiful dark blue eyes were filled with hidden pain, with eyelids hiding half his eye balls, even then his eyes would still somehow put the brightest star to shame. His hair looks soft and smooth. Oh what you would give to be able to stroke them. His lips looked soft, the upper lip was thin but the bottom was plump and if you could, you’d nibble them. His jawline was sharp and angular and to say it complimented his rugged face would be an understatement.
“Hey brat!” He called out, “You frozen or something?”
His words interrupted your thoughts. You realized you’ve been staring at the man. You shook your head in attempt to get rid of those thoughts. Your gaze were now focused on the floor.
He got up front his seat and approached you. Your reflexes kicked on and you activated your quirk. He stared at you with wide eyes. You slowly deactivated your quirk and asked, “Is your quirk only to look good or something?”
“What in the walls did you do!?” He interrogated.
“Activated my quirk?... You know... Powers?” You replied with a confused look.
“What are you?” He asked sternly.
“A Pro hero?” You answered.
“Hero?”
“Yea. I was with Endeavour and Hawks fighting a Nomu! Didn’t you see the news?”
“The news paper? Why wo-” Before Levi could finish you interrupted.
“Not the news paper, guy! The literal news! Like in... TV? Your phone?”
If Levi looked confused before he’s definitely over the top puzzled now, “What the hell?”
“Oh my god! Are you broke?!” You exclaimed.
“Wha-”
“Oh I knew it! I should’ve donated more often,” You hopped off your bed, started pacing back and forth and rambling, “Ah!! I thought people could afford phones but nope! I’m so selfish I should’ve donated and instead I used the money for food. I’m sorry ran-” Your rambling was interrupted by a swift kick to your stomach that made you fling backwards hitting the wall. You slumped down to the floor, groaning in pain and curling up like a ball.
“Damn man... Nice kick,” You complimented and gave him a weak thumbs up.
He stared at you completely confused. You could probably hear gears working around his head. He sat down on the bed and placed his hands together and covered his nose and mouth. The pain was still lingering but you still managed to get up and approach him.
His eyes shifted to your torso before something caught his eyes. A name on your wrist. He grabbed your wrist and there it was... Clear as day... His name.
“Are you some kind of sick admirer or something?” He spat.
You tried to pull your wrist back but his grip was too strong, “What?”
“Why in titan’s name do you have my name written on your wrist?!” He questioned.
You stared at your wrist then him... then back at your wrist and then back at him.
THIS MAN IS YOUR SOULMATE?!?!?!?
“I-... There’s probably another Levi Ackerman in this world...” You stammered.
Levi was trying to rub his name off your wrist.
“Y...You can’t be my soulmate... Right?” You continued.
Your words caused Levi to stop rubbing instead he stared at you as if the biggest shock came to his life.
“Tch” He shoved your wrist away, “My soulmate isn’t some crazy brat!”
‘Oh ho ho... It’s on!’ you thought to yourself.
“Oh yea? Well my soulmate isn’t some shorty who can’t even reach the top shelf without a stool!” You argued.
Levi’s eyes widen at your comment, “Well my soulmate isn’t some damn weakling who can’t even survive an hour outside the walls!”
“OH YEA?! TRY ME!”
You faced the wall and activated your quirk. You were prepared to break the wall down but before you could Levi stopped you.
“WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!” He snapped.
“I’M PROVING A POINT TO YOU, YOU TINY NONSENSE!” You snapped back.
“I MEANT WALL MARIA, ROSE AND SINA YOU IDIOTIC BRAT!”
“WELL WHO WOULD NAME THE WALLS MARIA, ROSE OR SINA?!”
“APPARENTLY ANCIENT PEOPLE FROM ANCIENT TIME”
“WELL WHAT’S THIS WALL’S NAME!? LUNA?!” You yelled, pointing at the wall you were about to break.
“YOU DUMB BRAT I MEANT THE WALLS OUTSIDE!!”
“WHY WOULD THERE BE WALLS OUTSIDE THE WALLS!?”
“TO PROTECT US FROM THE TITANS!”
“Oceanus, Coeus, Crius, Hyperion, Lapetus, Cronus, Thea, Rhea, Themis, Mnemosyna, Phoebe and Tethys?” You questioned, “Why would be fighting Greek mythological creatures?!”
“Who the- NO!”
“... Then?”
“TITANS! Giant, Man-Eating Humanoids!!! ”
You looked at Levi as if he grew two heads.
“OH MY WALLS!!” He yelled before dragging you somewhere.
His grasp on your hand was so strong it would’ve leaved a bruise. He dragged you along the corridors passing cadets who gave you pity stares while you eyed them in confusion.
You and Levi ended up in a room where there was a crystalized blonde woman tied down there.
“THIS IS A TITAN SHIFTER!”
You sigh, “Levi... That’s just a girl trapped in a crystal,” You paused putting your hands on his shoulders, “Do you need to see a psychiatrists?”
He stared at you irritated, his vein was practically popping out of his head now. He shoved your hands off his shoulder, “I think you’re the one who needs one,”
“I have proof that I have powers Levi. I’m a pro hero along with Endeavour and Hawks,” You paused taking a breath, “But you yelled to me about walls, Man eating creatures, you even brought me down here in a creepy looking brick made basement to show me a girl trapped inside ice or something,”
“I don’t think I’m the one who needs a psychiatrists, Levi” You tried to sound reassuring but Levi was fuming. He began to drag you again. This time he stopped in front of a boy with emerald eyes.
“EREN! GET OUT AND TRANSFORM!” Levi yelled at the poor boy who was cleaning.
“Yes Sir!” The emerald boy went outside, far outside in a middle of a steady grassy field and both of you followed behind him.
We were a few feet away from the guy Levi called “Eren” And waited.
Eren bit his hand and a yellow lighting came. You stared with wide eyes that looked like they were going to pop out of your head. The smoke cleared out and you saw a giant. You didn’t realize that you held Levi’s hand tight while you watched the boy coming out of the giant’s nape. The giant looked like it was evaporating. A girl with black hair and a red scarf came from no where and zipped through the sky to get the boy out.
You took a really Really deep breath... “Cool,” You said, “You have a giant shifting quirk,” Eren and the girl with the red scarf approached the both of you.
“I like your quirk, Eren. Now may I borrow your phone?” You asked the boy.
Eren and the girl looked at you confused. You were about to add a comment but before you could Eren asked, “What’s a phone?”
‘Oh.’
You took another deep breath and simply asked, “What year is it?”
“847,” He answered.
“Ah... I see...” You mumbled, “Quirks started at 2060,”
“You’re from the future?” Eren questioned.
He was starting to approach you slowly before he was pulled back by the girl telling him I might be dangerous.
“It’ll be fine Mikasa! Captain Levi’s holding her!” He reasoned.
“The brat apparently has powers. Show them,” Levi commanded.
You activated your quirk.
Eren’s and the gir- Mikasa’s eyes widen in amusement. Apart from titan shifting you were the only other with powers.
You plopped down on the grass and sighed, “If this isn’t permanent then I should be able to get out of here..”
“In the meantime get up,” Levi commanded, “If you wanna sit get to the barracks you filthy brat,”
Let’s just time skip~
It has been 4 weeks! AND YOU WERE STILL STUCK IN THIS GOD FORSAKEN YEAR! Good news though, You and Levi have been bonding a lot. Less arguments and more talking about what it’s like in your time. You were actually starting to like the guy. You got to learn more about him too. He’s a clean freak and he really likes tea. He suffers from insomnia and he lived in the undergrounds. You somehow felt safe around him even though you had powers.
You helped the Survey Corps killing titans with your powers and your new ability to swiftly use ODM gear. You managed to kill more than 10 titans in your first expedition which impressed some cadets.
Levi likes you, not in a romantic way (not yet) more in a ‘you’re my favorite cadet’ type of way. You cleaned better than others, you’re brave and do quick smart thinking, your skills impressed him and you make good tea. He’d always assign you to make his tea and bring it to his office now. You’d always end up having a good conversation too.
Bad news? You witnessed plenty of deaths. You were a hero, you were meant to save people but the thought of you being unable to save someone right in front of you was truly pain in your conscious. Levi would always comfort you about these deaths. Levi... He had made you forgot about the fight in with the Nomu. He distracted you from all your pain because whatever this feeling you have for him. It felt right. You didn’t even want to go back to your time now. You wanted to stay with him forever. You wanted to live in a world with him together in nothing but peace and comfort between the two. He was your soulmate and now you know why.

Needing that evening salt
While I thank @nilsh13 for giving me the link to that interview.
I was like “prepare for a ton of salt, take your lemons”  however, I’ve kind of mellowed out a bit because the VA seems to be a really nice person -
and I’ve read the Toyonaga interview recently.
Sometimes, the VA are allowed to interpret the character in a certain way that fits with what the game developpers more or less intended (granted they are the same guys who didn’t hire a continuity guy so...), and sometimes, it fails because direction sucks, because lenses are given and doesn’t match with the content you’re adaptating.
As a result, we have Jp!Rhea and lolcalised!Rhea.
i wonder if inoue will ever make an interview one day about 3H but I doubt it
We start with the infamous
“You don’t have to try it so much (to be the calm and composed person), Rhea doesn’t try, she just is - The essence of Rhea is enough”
Pat no :’(
But... Rhea isn’t calm and composed, Rhea is emotional, pretty much, she’s a bubble waiting to burst and she tries to be calm and composed and keep a facade (more on that later) but, I feel like the “Rhea doesn’t try she just is” might be the reason why lolcalised!Rhea feels detached during certain events, when Aelfric’s attempted Nabatean homonculi Transmutation backfires, when Kikuko Inoue nails the sense of sadness and dread because, uh, a man she just said she saw as her own child basically died here to become a grotesque monster and attempted to replicate her own mistakes.
Rhea tries to be a calm and composed person, she managed to keep up appearances for, apparently, 1000 years, but Rhea is also emotional as fuck.
But... This is where everything falls apart.
“You were given the direction - paraphrasing - to channel your inner Dumbledore?”
It’s safe to assume most people can draw parallels to “Three Houses and Harry Potter”
And Leigh falls in the biggest trap, trying to “play the game and figure out who is who” because, while I think someone replied to an earlier post about the parallel (i’m really sorry when i finally had time to reply 2 weeks had passed and i didn’t want to necropost), but I still firmly disagree, and truth to be told, this is, in a way, what I was afraid of when 3H was announced.
FE is a series that loves to reference itself, so when it was announced that the next game would be set in a school, and Bernie and Dorothea were previewed I grew really afraid that the game was going to have the typical “North American High School AU” and none of the “Fire Emblem” series. We had the recluse, Sylvain appeared to be the frat boy, I was expecting the cheerleader, Ignatz to be the nerd etc etc.
With the HP thing, and “trying to see who is who”, I feel like the localisation team and the VA were trying to look at the game with a special - tailored by them for their own use - lens. I will not say “western” lens, but they were trying to look for things that just... aren’t?
Yes, 3H took inspiration from the latest behemoth who was trending at that time, but it wasn’t HP, it was ASOIAF.
And even then, it is only a flair and a colour scheme.
If Edel isn’t enough, the Golden Deer, with its specific color scheme immediately calls back to the Baratheon sigil (a black stag on a field of gold, when the Golden Deer is a deer... on a field of gold). House Lannister and Arryn are reversed, the Lion isn’t associated to the Red House but to the Blue one, and the Eagle (actually the Arryn sigil is a falcon) leaves the Moon to the Blue House and lands in the Red House. And the Ashen Wolves are... grey wolves on a white field, like this house. IS managed to take animals from traditional european heraldry, but with the colors and the specific animals picked? It’s hard to deny the ASOIAF nod.
Hubert calls the mole people snakes, but it is his own nickname, the death cult has its own name, Agarthans. They never use a snake of their banner, nor refer to themselves as such.
Bar the aesthetics?
IS wanted the monastery to be a nod to FE Jugdral’s Barahra Royal Academy, a place where, apparently, heirs of various nations could study together and form lasting friendships, which were supposed to prevent wars (or at least made former alumnis of said academy sad to fight against each other).
But because FE Jugdral wasn’t released overseas, and someone didn’t do their homework about the series (when Toyonaga is a big fan of the Jugdral saga), the monastery, and its academy, was linked to... HP.
Rhea isn’t Dumbledore. Rhea is an amalgation of Gotoh - the mentor who guides you - and, twist, of Tiki!
If Seteth doubted Billy’s abilities, it is tied to their own nature as a self-insert, Fred doubted Robin when they first met, but then mellowed out. Or, without the avatar angle, when Greil trusts Ike, and later on, Titania, Shinon doubts him until the end (or until you recruit him).
So with a blurred lens, it is no wonder why localised!Rhea is so different from Inoue!Rhea.
Then Leigh continues on with the interview, noting how insecure she is, irl, and how Rhea helped her realise that “sometimes I don’t need to try to be someone else to fit it, it’s okay to just be myself” ...
:/
How can the direction give this impression of Rhea to her VA when Rhea, her character, is the complete opposite?
Rhea tries to be someone else, she laments about it, she cannot be herself, she has to put on a facade and make careful choices and pick certain words as an archbishop, Rhea has to anonymously ask how to tell people she doesn’t like hot tea because she is afraid of hurting feelings, she wants to socialise with people but cannot due to her station and the role she has. Rhea has to pretend to be a guide and a leader to her people, when she only wants her Mother to return to assume this role she thinks she is butchering.
So, doubling Rhea should actually have the opposite effect, Rhea cannot “just be (her)self”! or maybe it’d be an advice Leigh gives to Rhea, the character?
So if you take the blurred lens coupled with the tragic direction given, Rhea’s depth is erased. She is instead turned into the scary fanatic who never emotes, save to raeg, and only wants to rez her mom.
Cute moment though, even if the topic is one I disagree on, where, talking about Rhea’s temper, Leigh says she wouldn’t want to encounter her when she’s stuck in traffic :) (lbr we all know Rhea would pull out the wings and reactor of her DeLorean and fly over everyone, without Billy though, she cannot time travel)
Tl; dr : Imposing doesn’t mean frightening, Leigh and the interviewer watched too much DBZ and ASOIAF (rather, GOT) was the “western” behemoth referenced in FE16, not HP.
The other referenced behemoth was... well, a small series called Fire Emblem.
As always, I’m more willing to cut some slack for the VAs because the industries is more recent than the one in Japan, and/or roles weren’t directed the same way (do you know the guy who dubs Morgan Freeman in Wonder France also dubs the voice talking during Uncle Ben’s ads? Or Bruce Willis is in Martin Mystery?)
But the Directors? No. Games have been imported and translated/localised for several decades now, you can’t pull a “4Kids” anymore on content you do not understand or do not wish to understand, and butchering a character (or misunderstand a character that much) shouldn’t have happened in 2019.
Dub is nice, when it exists, but for now, I’m still going to stick to Sub.

Submissive nico!
Hazel and ash not understanding! asking him to stop taking it for them
SUBMISSIVE NICOO!!!!
Ok, I love the ask, I couldn't exactly fit it in at this point of the story but don't worry there will be more opportunities for Hazel and Ash to react to this later! I hope you all enjoy!
Oh also quick content warning for emetophobia, nothing actually happens but it is thought of and like it gets close.
First | Previous |
Nico retched quietly, wishing he could just throw up and get it over with.  He wanted to clear his body of this feeling.  Nausea was so disgusting set in his body, if he could just throw up, get it out, he’d feel better.  Blank concrete stared back at Nico.
giving up on expelling the sick feeling inside of him, Nico lowered himself to his side, the world around him spun as he did. With a groan, Nico rolled onto his back.  Sweat caused his hair to stick to his skin, adding to the general feeling of disgust inside him.
Nico drew in a deep breath, trying not to focus on the suffocating heat radiating from his left side. He had yet to look at what his brand looked like today, looking at it would mean sitting up, and sitting up would move the skin around it which would fucking hurt.
Nico was not planning on looking at the wound.
It was easier to ignore if he didn’t look at it. Yes, it was painful but if he didn't look at it he could pretend it was just some other injury, that also happened to hurt, something that would heal leaving a generic scar.  He could ignore that he was now marked like cattle as property.
Not only stuck with her name seared into his body for the rest of time, Nico had agreed to be Rhea’s plaything.  Not even just agreed he offered to.
Nico covered his face with his hands, taking deep breaths to try and push back tears.
The impending doom of everything Rhea would force him to do was too much to think about. Things he agreed to do, asked for.
No no you didn't ask for it, you're doing it so they can be safe.
Nico logically knew that, he did.
You begged her, isn't that asking?
"Only so Hazel and Ash can be safe," Nico responded to his own thoughts, justifying his actions.
Hazel.
Nico hadn’t seen Hazel since Rhea had forced him to hurt her, he didn’t even know if she was alive.
If she is she hates you.  And if she’s dead it’s your fault.
Nico squeezed his eyes closed, sliding his hands down to the sides of his head he pushed in on his skull, trying to quiet his brain.
“Stop it,” Nico muttered into the silent room.
He took in a stuttering breath, wiping a stray tear off his face he let his head fall to the side, looking at Ash’s form across the room.  He should check on his friend, he knew that. Moving right now would be excruciating, but he should at least call out to him.
Nico opened his mouth, pausing before making uttering a word.  Fear settled over him, what if Rhea heard him?  He didn’t want to do anything that might make her come back to torment him any sooner.
No that’s stupid, you’re being a coward.
Nico shook his head, trying to clear his thoughts.
“Ash?” He called out softly.
There was no response.
“Ash!” Nico pitched up, hoping he could wake him.
No response.
Fuck.
With a groan Nico pushed himself up onto his elbows, his breath became heavy as he ignored the burning pain in his side and rolled over onto his hands and knees.
“Fuck... ow,” Nico grunted.
Slowly, painfully, Nico crawled over to where Ash lay.  He put his hand under Ash’s nose.
Nico let out a sigh of relief.
Ash was breathing.
“I’ll let you sleep I guess, thanks for making me get up,” Nico grumbled as he lay down himself.
“What a sweet boy checking on his friend.”
Nico, flinched the sudden voice scaring him.  He pushed himself up to his elbows with a wince.
When had Rhea walked in?
She quickly crossed the cell to Nico’s side, closing the door behind her.
Nico tried to sit up fully, but Rhea stopped him with a boot on his chest,  “No, no, don’t get up on my account!  You need your rest.”
The heel of Rhea’s boot dug into his skin, as she pushed Nico down to lay flat on his back.
Nico forced himself not to fight her, clenching his jaw and screaming curses in his brain. He didn’t speak, too unsure of his ability not to anger her. He kept his eyes down, avoiding her gaze for the same reason.
Rhea hummed contently, “good boy.”
The words felt slimy, disgusting, covering Nico’s skin.
Rhea smirked down at him, "I gave you a compliment, what do you say darling?" She pressed down on his chest, drawing a wheeze from the boy below her.
"Thank you," Nico bit out, trying to ignore the meaning behind his words.
"Good boy," Rhea repeated.
The words felt just as gross as the first time.
"Let's take a look at your pretty new mark, shall we?" Rhea stepped off Nico, settling over his hips to straddle him.
Nico's breath hitched as Rhea made such close contact with him. He felt so vulnerable laid out on the floor beneath her. He clenched his fists, resisting the urge to buck her off.
Rhea chuckled, “hmmm try not to look so upset pretty boy.”
Nico grit his teeth, “sorry.”
“Sorry.....?” Rhea held up a hand to her ear as one might prompt a child to read the next word in their picture book.
Forcing down bile, Nico responded as she wanted “sorry ma’am.”
Cold fingers ran along the neckline of his shirt, Nico couldn’t stop a small grimace at her touch. He clenched his jaw tighter, schooling his expression to remain neutral.
Rhea ran her hands down his chest, she went to pull at his shirt, “active participation,” Rhea reminded.
Nico turned his head to the side looking away from her. Humiliation swept over him as he lifted his torso off the ground to let Rhea pull his shirt up to reveal his stomach and chest.
“Hmmm that looks like it hurts,” Rhea grinned, placing a finger on the inflamed skin next to the brand. She glanced up at Nico’s face, “active participation means looking at me.”
"Sorry," Nico muttered, turning his head and meeting her eyes.
Rhea raised her eyebrows
"Sorry ma'am," Nico corrected quickly. His heart dropped as he realized how quickly he was falling into the exact behaviors Rhea wanted.
That's what you agreed to.
Rhea smiled, "You know, I had my own plans, the work we were doing with Hazel and such. But this," her grin grew wider, "this is much better than all that. I was so surprised when you told me how bad you wanted this. I'm so glad you did."
A copper taste filled his mouth as Nico bit down on his cheek.
"Nothing to say? You used to be so chatty."
Nico stared blankly back at her, it was easier just not to interact. If he said anything he wasn't sure he could keep it from being something that would break his deal with Rhea.
Rhea leaned down over Nico, whispering in her ear, "Ignore me one more time and I will kill your friend here."
"Sorry, ma'am," he replied, his voice held an undeniable shake.
Rhea smiled, she rested her elbows on either side of Nico's head.
Nico took in a stuttering breath, trying to ignore the growing dread in his stomach. His chest felt tight, each breath was harder than the next. Rhea's body was flush with his, her knee was pushing against the brand bringing a fresh wave of pain at even her smallest movements.
Stop, stop, stop.
This was worse than the knife, worse than the shock collar, worse than anything else she had put him through. All that had hurt, it had hurt like a motherfucker, but it was simple and understandable. It was pain, and he just had to get through it.
This, it didn't hurt. There was no physical pain. That was worse.
Rhea hadn't done anything yet to hurt him, just invaded his space. Invaded space meant for comfort, and trust.
Nico swallowed against the lump in his throat.
Rhea traced a finger down the side of Nico's face.
He squeezed his eyes shut without thinking.
"Open," commanded.
"Sor-sorry... ma'am," he opened his eyes.
nonononononono
"Are you going to cry, Nico? it's alright if you do. In fact, I'd rather enjoy it if you did," Rhea spoke softly, to her captive below her.
"N-no, ma'am."
"Why are you struggling so much with your words then? Are you afraid of me? After all I've done for you?"
"I..." Nico couldn't think of what to say, the only thing running through his mind was pure disgust at Rhea's proximity, "I-"
"Come on spit it out now," Rhea continued her idle touches over Nico's face and neck.
"I'm not," Nico said firmly, ignoring the panic growing inside him, "I'm not afraid of you ma'am."
Rhea raised an eyebrow. She seemed upset that Nico was still holding on to some semblance of control.
"I don't believe you," Rhea ran her hand up the side of Nico's head, tangling her fingers in his hair.
She leaned down, speaking softly into Nico’s ear, “I can see you flinching, see how your breath stops, just for a moment, as you try to see what I have planned for you next,” she tightened her grip Nico’s hair, twisted his neck painfully, “all that yelling, cursing, it was all just a shield for how truly scared you are. Now you can’t even do that, you feel vulnerable, humiliated I’m sure, and you’re terrified.”
“I...” Nico’s voice was choked, barely hiding his growing emotions. Coherent thought other than get off me was getting harder and harder to make.
"Be honest now, full cooperation includes not lying to me."
She's too close, it's too much, its-
"I-" Nico swallowed hard, wanting desperately to be anywhere else than where he currently was in this moment.
"Come on, you can do it, tell me how you really feel."
You have to.
You have to you asked for this so fucking do it.
Nico couldn't breathe, he took in a stuttering gasp, "s-scared," his voice was soft, almost inaudible.
Rhea's eyes lit up, "What was that darling? Is that how you feel, scared?"
Nico wanted to scream at her.
fuck you fuck you FUCK YOU
He closed his eyes, nodding as much as he could in Rhea's harsh grip.
You had to say it it doesn't mean you are.
It doesn't mean you are. It... it...
"Good boy, such a quick learner," Rhea finally released her grip in his hair, allowing Nico to move his head to a less painful position as she sat up.
Nico's face burned with humiliation. He kept his eyes shut, not wanting to see Rhea's pleased face above him.
Rhea's weight lifted off him and Nico let out a small breath of relief.
That breath was quickly stolen away as her boot slammed into his ribs.
He let of a grunt of pain, gasping for air that had been knocked from his chest. Nico curled to the side, ignoring the pain the movement caused to the inflamed brand on the other side of him.
"That's for closing your eyes," Rhea spoke in an unenthused tone.
Nico forced his eyes open at her words, he took in weak, wheezy gasps, unable to catch his breath.
"s-sor-sor," he couldn't make the words through his desperate attempt to take in as much oxygen as he could.
Rhea turned, looking down at him with a smile, "I know you're trying, trying so hard to be good for me."
Nico crinkled his nose, trying to avoid showing his disgust too clearly.
Air finally felt like it was making it into Nico's lungs, he took in deep breaths, trying to slow himself down.
"That's it, calm down."
I'm going to fucking kill you.
"Good boy,"
NO NO NO NO NO
"Thank you," Nico's voice was raspy, it hurt to talk, "thank you, ma'am."
Nico rolled over onto his hands and knees, wincing as he pushed himself to his feet. He worried for a moment Rhea was going to force him back to the ground but she just watched him.
The world spun around him as Nico tried to maintain his balance, he stumbled back to rest against the wall so he wouldn't fall. As his vision stabilized Nico's eyes fell on Ash's crumpled form below him.
"You promised to take him to a hospital."
"We never agreed on a hospital-"
"Medical center then, you promised some kind of medical care. Take him there or I'm not going to keep doing this."
Rhea raised an eyebrow, her gaze darkening, "I'd be careful how you speak to me, I can make this deal much more painful if you give me a reason to. Now, if you ask nicely I can call someone to take him over there."
Of course, it can't be easy.
Nico met her eyes, "Please, help him."
She kept eye contact as she picked her radio from her belt, "come get one of the boys, bring a stretcher."
Nico breathed a sigh of relief, "thank you."
It wasn't long before the door swung open, the two guards who had Nico had come to be familiar with carried a stretcher between them.
"Hazel?" Nico wanted to make sure who he was doing this for was safe. Otherwise, this was all for nothing.
Rhea rolled her eyes, she pointed to Ash on the ground, "take him to the medical center, get a doctor for him. The girl too, different rooms, make sure they lock."
The guards nodded and began to move Ash to the stretcher laid beside him.
The movement seemed to be enough to wake Ash, his eyes jolted open, he flinched away from the guard's hands. He made eye contact with Nico across the room.
It's ok, Nico mouthed to Ash.
Rhea crossed to Nico's side, putting a hand on his head to stroke his hair, the gesture would almost be kind if its purpose wasn't pure humiliation, "Say goodbye to your friend darling."
Nico blinked away impending tears, "Goodbye Ash."
"What.. what are you talking about?" Ash looked confused, "what did you.. what are you doing to him? Where are you taking me?" His voice was weak, slightly slurred.
"I'm not doing anything to anyone, he asked for this, didn't you pet?"
Nico looked down avoiding Ash's gaze, trying to ignore Rhea's gentle hand in his hair.
"Yes ma'am."
