Vamp!harry x readers first time being fully intimate! Heâs scared of hurting her so heâs really hesitant to do it. itâs also her first time in general so maybe you can make it really fluffy please??
Sorry for being supppppeeerrr late but promise it's gonna be worth it. All my lovin!!
Vampire!harry at valentines day.
It's valentine's day. For Harry everyday is a day for lovin' but in vampire culture valentines is the key to the lock of ever love and showing your passion towards your better half. He showered Y/N in abundant of affection; was waiting for her to wake up on his bedside like an impatient puppy and the moment she blinked open her eyes he was all over her. Almost swallowing her whole. His plush lips kissed every inch of his lovie and muffled all her giggles with his heavy smoochs.
"Will you be my valentine?" He murmures against her mouth and she squeaks still sleepy, "ofcourse yes!" He was joyous and kissed her as many times as he could.
She was all smushy squeals and jumpy on her bum while ripping her gifts down, "Slow down poppet 's all yours." He laughed resting his chin atop her head. She got all blushy and shy in his arms when on her rummage a furry brallete top and shorts dangled with her fingers, "'s sooo cute Harry. Thank you!" She tries to kiss him but it lands against his chin. Pastel heart boxes full of rich chocolates and strawberries made her sky rocket over the moon dribbling him with her kisses and sweet whispers.
After exchange of gifts, chocolates and kisses they went to diner near her flat hands in hands for some tummy filling brekkie. They were inseparable, with heart twinkling eyes, tender gushes and sighs full of love for eachother. Anyone could spot them the couple from far like a bat under the moonlight.
It's cloudy and thick so she hauled him with herself flopping into poof of lavender fields the scent cocoons them as they stared into eachother's eyes with love and happiness till she lifted her fingertips to lightly brush it over his silken dollop of cheeks with a quirk of lips; it burns. To touch him. Lit her core on fire with desire and yearn to be his's fully.
He takes her cheeks and gently, gently, ever so gently smudges his candy lips against hers to taste her mouth. Sliding his palms down her spine under her bottom to pull her ontop of him without un-sealing his lips from over her's. Her hands meanders under his hickory curls that made him grunt and raise his hips to push against her womanhood.
"Want you, please." She whimpers putting the pressure down on his bulge jolting with the wave of pleasure with each swivel, "shh. shh 's okay gonna take care of ye' . . . Let's go home first." He pets her hair murmuring against her chin and plucks her pout when she shakes her head with eagerness.
"What lovie', didn't know ye' were thatttt kinky!?" He tickles her dimples at the sides and she scooches down into his chest with spurts of laughs, "Aish. 'M not . . just want you to take me."
"You'll 'ave me â darlin' in the best way possible." He sighs kissing her sweetly with tongue to explore her tangeriness and his nostrils flares when she whines with the flutter of her eyelashes.
//
"Come fo' me again baby." He says while licking up her folds with hunger pinning down her shivering thighs as his sleek fingers pumped her own cum back inside her. They came back home, undressed in haste and Harry wrapped her around him like a soft bear laying her down promising her that he'll fill her with his cock. Gave his tongue and fingers to her, playing filthy between her sticky thighs with three digits of his's buried deep inside her weepy pussy.
It's her second orgasm and still the knot in her stomach didn't unwind. It'll only after being stuffed full with his thick fat prick deep inside her wet cunt. When she whines trying to latch to his shoulders murmuring, "what if it'll not fit?" He giggles popping out her nipple from between his lips with a dirty noise.
"Now, I'll take it as a compliment but 'ave been warmin' ye up fo' a mo' haven't I?" He palms her breasts and runs his thumbs over her nipples while circling her clit; watching as she squirmed and whimpered under him. "You're wet fo' a proper nice fuck baby â bet gonna take my dick so well fo' me." He spreads her gooness down her slit dangerously close to her other hole. She gasps and he swallows it with a kiss pressing his thumb against her puckering pink hole while slithering his ring finger inside her dripping pussy.
"'S all fo' me?" He prods inside her making her moan breathily and she bobs her head desirous to have him all for herself. He tucks his trousers down while sucking her bottom lip tenderly, his erection slapping his lower tummy and her shivering hands brushes the aching tip of his cock making him rut in her grip.
"Oh me sweet bundle of blood." He whispers gazing into her earthy eyes with passion and love bitting his pale jutted lips when she stroked him spreading his pre-come down his thick shaft. He glides his palm under her back other cupping her jaw, "stay still fo' me moppet." He says in a low hum working his oozing prick between her folds making squelching noises. Sliding it down and inside her slowly almost loosing his balance knocking his forehead against her.
"S' tight." Her wetness allowing him to extend deeper till he pulled out making both of them whine, "shh. I gotcha lovie' . . ." He huffs bottoming out snug and warm inside her fluttering walls milking the tip of his cock, it pimples goosebumps at their skins.
He frees her wrists touching her sides, "you can move now." She quickly winds her forearms around his shoulders loving the way their bare skin feels together while they're intervined in such an intimate way. A shiver runs down his bone marrow when her lips skims over his throat and teeth grazes to find the perfect spot to mark him just the way he does to her, "tell me if it hurts yeah? don't wanna harm ye' in any way." He's grinding his hips at very gentle pace just to test waters. His hand groping and teasing her pebbled nipples sometimes sneaking down to flicker her clit.
"You'll not, please please . ." She tries to thrust into him but he pins them down glaring her sternly. He's awed how hooded with lust her eyes are, darker than his demonic ones and it's so sexy his hips quacks pummeling inside her unintentionally but it made her go feral, "'m serious baby." He nudges her thighs wider holding it down watching himself push inside her yearningly.
"Can you please fuck me now?" She breathes annoyed at him and he grins giving her chaste kiss on lips, "y'want that? dirty babe." Her eyes rolls back when he thrusts inside her continuously without a waver roughly while kissing her collar bones controlling himself to take a bite from her. He could listen how erratically her heart's been beating squirming his lips upwards as she arched and thrashed under him.
He sucks her nipple inside his mouth pulling at it with a hum and crimson rimmed irirses fucking her brutally to make her see stars and saturn.
"Wanna cum?" He presses his palm with force against her belly to feel himslef bumping through stroking his ego. Her eyes teary and button nose red as she nods, "then beg." He smirks and it made her tug at his roots from the pleasure of sight when his fangs poked out ever so slightly within his gums.
"Please harry. Can I come?" Her upper body shaking from avoiding to gush all over his cock and he twitches against her spongy walls with a whimper while playing with her clit, "yes cum right now." Her moans were the most erotic thing Harry has ever heard as she let herself limp in his arms feeling safe and happy coating his dick with her cum. Babbling incoherence under him and his face falls into her neck fucking her, overstimulating her with each stroke and she holds him tight cooing in his ear as he came hissing when her glistening soaked pussy tried to push him out.
After some minutes he recouped, kissing the side of her head trailing little pecks at her sweaty line bringing her up closer to his chest.
"Was I good?" His gaze soft and genuine. "The best." She hiccups tiredly. Cheeks blushed and eyes glassy, "How was I?" Her shyness clear. "I love how your pussy feels around me. Swallows me perfectly." He smiles whispering the end part and she whispers it back, "made for eachother."
He cleans her with baby wipes rubbing them between his hands before using them to swipe away his cum from her inner thighs. Hushing her softly when she whimpers as he nudges at a particular sore bite or her sensitive folds. Threw sheets into hamper and brought her favourite patched quilt to cuddle under it not letting her untangle her calves from his's at all.
Then in evening they baked together more like her checking out her love marks on her body in the glassiness of refrigerator while he squats beside the oven like an over excited puppy. She gasps dramatically wiggling her bum to have a better look then almost shoving it against his face making him tumble.
"Harry! you left a horrendous bite under my bum!!" He gives out a belly ache laugh slapping her arse playfully, "What can I say, moppet. Ye' got a cute lil bum. Couldn't resist biting ye'r peach" She huffs trying to grab him but in an instant he's turning into the weeny black creature flapping his wings down at her small lips smirking down at her in victory.
"Oi. You can't just turn a bat everytime you do somethin' naughty, it's unfair!" She puts her hands on her hips glaring up at him and he flies to the other direction but unfortunately knocks himself into the book shelf. Her laugh echoes into whole house as he transforms back into his humanly figure rubbing his head smiling up at her full of giddiness and she flops down beside him kissing his dimples with a grin that doesn't seem to disappear.
"Happy valentines day you fool."

Hold My Phone
By: SassyShoulderAngel319
Fandom/Character(s): A Court of Thorns and Roses Series/Rhysand
Rating: PG-11/T- (v seductive flirting)
Original Idea: Modern!AU (kinda sorta not really)
Notes: (Masterlist)(By Character)(About Me) This one is so ridiculous. Itâs basically a âEverything is Pretty Much the Same but They Have Phonesâ AU, not really a modern AU because I figured this would be how Rhys would handle having a phone with the High Lord act, lol
^^^^^
My phone buzzed in my pocket. In a meeting with some Autumn Court emissaries. Iâm bored. Entertain me? Rhysâ text said.
Why are you texting me? Just use the mating bond, I texted back.
Yeah but I want these idiots to *know* that Iâm bored of them and canât be bothered to give them my attention.
Playing games with them?
Always.
Exactly how do you propose I entertain you?
It took his answer a few minutes to arrive. I wondered if it was because he was thinking about the wickedest, most flirtatious thing to say or something came up in the meeting that he did actually have to give his attention to.
What are you wearing right now? I shouldnât have been surprised that was his reply.
My purple outfit. The dark purple one with the stars embroidered into it.
Iâm debating asking you to send me a picture of you in it or asking you to take it off and send me a picture of *that*
I am not sending you any pictures while youâre in a meeting. I hadnât replied to a text that quickly in a while.
His reply came quickly too, Send it down the mating bond then. No records ;)
I rolled my eyes and got to my feet. Up in our room, I stood in front of the full-length mirror, stared at myself while lowering my mental shield, shot the image I was looking atâfully clothedâdown the bond, and then slammed my shields back into place.
It took seconds for an answering image of Rhys licking his lips with a feral gleam in his eyes to bump into my shield. I rolled my eyes. My phone buzzed. Delicious. As always, darling.
Happy?
Deliriously.
Go back to your meeting, you flirt. Iâll see you later.
But Iâm still bored.
Donât be a baby. I have a meeting in 30 minutes I have to get ready for with the governor of the Palace of Threads and Jewels.
What are you meeting with the governor for?
I donât think itâs any big deal. Probably just going over some requests from patrons who have gathered together a bunch of things rather than hauling themselves up 10,000 stairs to the House.
Good luck.
You too. I set my phone down on my vanity. I hated getting rid of the loose pants and sleeves but I knew for a meeting like this that Iâd need a gown.
I sent Rhys mental images of every gown I tried on before selecting one, and every hairstyle I thought of doing, asking his opinion and ultimately ignoring it when he seductively told me he liked the most revealing dress with my hair unbound. I definitely called him a name I had no plans on apologizing for before replacing my shields.
I ended up going with a modest midnight blue gown glittering with silver threads that would be appropriately formal, but not so formal it felt like an occasion. Instead of a tiara or crown or diadem I kept my hair out of my face with a comb that was made of black metal and studded with diamond dust to look like the night sky. Crescent moon-shaped sapphire taking up most of the space in the middle.
Nuala and Cerridwen approved of my choices and I shooed myself out to go see the governor.
â
I collapsed on the bed after leaving my dress abandoned on the floor. The meeting was exactly what I thought it would be and after all the requests I was tired. I genuinely cared about my people but putting forth the mental strain of trying to figure out how to fix so many problems at once I started having to pretend to be chipper.
I hadnât realized I dozed off until a weight falling onto the bed beside me woke me up.
Rhys fell in such a way that he could sprawl his wings above me, taking up a good portion of the bed. He was in casual clothingâsilver-buttoned black shirt with the top button undone to let his tattoos peek out, black pants, low black bootsâbut I knew him better than to think heâd gone to the meeting in them. As he fell, he sighed. âThat was tedious,â he remarked, setting a hand on the top of my head and scratching my hair. His fingers brushed my comb and he stopped.
âTell me about it,â I grumbled.
He sat up to lean over me. He gave me a long, slow kiss as he removed the comb from my hair. âYou didnât wear the dress I chose,â he teased.
âI asked your opinion, not to choose for me,â I countered. âBesides, I doubt youâd even want another male to look at me in a dress like that.â
âFair enough,â he conceded playfully. He kissed the hollow behind my ear. âYou can model it for me later.â
âFlirt,â I accused.
âSpoilsport,â he retorted.
His phone started ringing in his pocket. I recognized the personalized tone. He only personalized a few. Azrielâs, Cassianâs, Morâs, Amrenâs, and mine.
Heaving another sigh, he extracted the phone from his pocket. âWhat do you want, Cassian?â There was no bite at all to the words, just resigned fatigue. He listened to words I couldnât quite make out as he fidgeted with my comb in his other hand. He rolled his eyes. âThat can wait. Iâll squeeze it in tomorrow, okay?â
More babbling from Cassianâs end of the call. I thought I caught snatches of Azrielâs voice too.
âYeah, yeah, yeah. Iâll deal with it tomorrow. Bye.â He hung up, but I could still hear them talking as he ended the call. âCan never get one hour of peace with those two,â he muttered, silencing his phone.
He tossed it somewhere behind him and I heard it thunk on the rug.
âFor tonight, darling, I have some much more entertaining events scheduled.â He bent over me and pressed another kiss to my lips. I kissed him back enthusiastically, reaching up to brush my fingers into his hair. He relaxed slightly, the weight of his head growing against mine as his neck tension softened.
âLet me silence my phone,â I said.
He waved a hand vaguely over his shoulder. âDone,â he said.
I smiled. âBath before or after?â
âHmm⊠after.â
âFine with me.â
â
Both of our phones vibrating wildly on the end tables of our bed woke us the next morning. I jolted so hard I bonked my head on Rhysâ wing bone where heâd draped it over me as we slept, as he often did.
I reached out for my phone. There was no caller ID and the combination wasnât one I recognized. That happened all the time. I answered anyway, assuming it was a matter of state, as usual. âHello?â
âHigh Lady?â The voice was small and trembling. Not young, but frightened.
âYes?â
âThereâs something in the harbor.â
Before I could ask for more details, the caller hung up.
Rhys answered his phone much more lazily than I had. âThis is Rhys,â he said. He never used his full given name to answer the phone. High Lord Tamlin, his enemy, could be calling and heâd still use Rhys.
He bolted up in bed so abruptly, his wing bone hit me in the back of the head. Thankfully the talon missed me. We both winced at the pain as he mouthed, Sorry, and leapt out of bed to get dressed. I figured Iâd probably need to go investigate the harbor so I got up too and found a pair of pants, shirt, and overcoat. Socks and boots followed before I wound my hair into a bun so I wouldnât have to braid it yet.
Rhys hung up. âWas your call about the harbor too?â he asked.
âYeah,â I replied. âThough, whoever it was didnât say much.â
âSame here. Ready?â
I put the same comb Iâd been wearing the day before into the top of my bun so I had some sort of ornamentation on. âReady.â
He grabbed me around the shoulders and winnowed us out of the house.
We reappeared on the docks.
A dark shape was moving around under the surface of the water. I grabbed the railing and peered over it. âToo fluid to be a whale,â I said, noticing a small gathered crowd taking pictures on their phones, some recording videos.
Rhysâ hand settled on top of mine. Itâs moving like a serpent, he said down our bond.
My grip on the railing halted. A serpent? Now? Likeâlike a sea serpent?
He didnât reply. His dark eyes following where the headâs shape appeared to be.
âHold onto this for me,â he said, pulling out his phone and holding it out. I took it out of habit, barely noticing his wings extending.
âWaitâRhysâdonâtâ!â Too late. He used a powerful launch from his wings to get him over the railing before plunging into the water. As he dropped, I saw his clothes change from the casual dark shirt and pants to his fighting leathers. I wasnât even sure any of the faeries around us noticed the change. A few of them yelped as his splash sprayed into the air.
I clung to the railing, staring into the depths.
âRhysandâŠâ I complained. âStop being so reckless.â
I heard that, he teased.
I meant for you to, I retorted.
Wanna see?
Iâm holding your phone. Iâm not getting in that water.
You know thatâs not what I meant.
I sent the sound of my sigh down the bond and felt his chuckle in return. Fine.
A crack opened in his mental shield. I slid into it, keeping a tether to get me out whenever I wanted if I got freaked out. My eyes glazed over as I started looking through his.
The harbor water was relatively clear, but a bit blurry. Iâno, Rhysâflexed his magic to clear up his vision. Myâhisâhair drifted in front of his eyes a bit.
A large, deep red sea serpent twined around ahead, barely visible through the murk. Large fins were tucked against its sides.
Wings? I asked Rhys.
Yes. For jumping out of the water and snatching sailors from their ships. Among other things, he replied. They usually dwell in the depths. Wonder what itâs doing here.
I didnât reply as he swam closer. Inside his mind, I could feel him dismiss his wings to reduce drag. Feel the strength in his shoulders as he stroked forward. In his mind, I had no private thoughts, so I knew he felt my anxiety. My fear for his safety. I felt him send a wave of calm through himself. He wasnât nervous at allâfor whatever reason.
The serpent caught sight of him. My breath hitched, but Rhys didnât even flinch. Gold eyes bored into him, fangs revealed in something of a snarl.
Sorry, love, Rhys thought, I need to speak to it mind to mind, and donât want you here for it. Too hard to concentrate on two minds at once.
Fine with me, I replied.
He shoved me out of his mind.
I shook my head, blinking, as my consciousness returned to my own body. My hands were so tight on the railing that my knuckles were white.
Something tugged on my tunic. I turned.
A small faerie child with violet skin and long silver hair was standing beside me, looking up at me. âAre you alright, High Lady?â Innocence and genuine concern were in its voice. I knelt to be on the same eye level as the child, my hands resting on the phone in either of my pants pockets.
âYes. Yes, Iâm alright. Just concerned for Rhys.â
The child looked into the harbor. âMama says the High Lord is very powerful. Heâll be okay.â
I smiled at the child. âYes. Yes he will.â I reached into the pocket of my tunic, pulling out one of the small candies I kept in there for when children stopped to talk to meâand Rhys usually. I offered it to the child. Everyone in Velaris knew their High Lord and Lady kept candy for children on them, so the child accepted without hesitation. They took off the wax paper wrapper and stuck the candy in their mouth before running back to their parents.
Rhys appeared on the dock behind me, dripping wet. âWhatâd I miss?â he asked.
I jumped to my feet and whirled around. âYou okay?â
âFine. I convinced it to leave.â He nodded toward the dark shape slithering out of the harbor now. âIt was actually lost, I think. I managed to give it directions.â
I chuckled. âNever a boring day in Velaris.â
He joined my chuckle. âNot at all. Cassianâs gonna get a kickââ He swore. âI forgot. Cassian needed my help. You still have my phone?â
As I pulled it out of my pocket, he waved a hand to dry off.
He plunked in Cassianâs combination. âHey, itâs me. Iâm on my way.â He reached out a hand for me. I took it. Dark wind whipped around us as we winnowed away.

Heartbeat Part 2
(Final Part) <Part 1>
Pairing: Sirius Black x Reader
Word Count: 3,580
Warnings: Angsty at the beginning, umm mentions of suicide and depression, swearing
Summary: An idea given to me by @mcluuvin666 Thank you so much! Reader moves on from Sirius and he realizes he made a mistake
A/n: This took me forever to write, I hope you guys like it!
You used to tell yourself you didnât cry, that it was weak. But that was never true. The truth was you had cried far more in your life than you would ever admit. You had cried when your parents yelled at you or when your father hit you or your mother cursed you. You had cried when you fell from the tree in your backyard and when you slipped off your bike when you were nine. You had cried when you failed your first exam in the second year and recently you cried for no reason at all other than you simply needed to. You never let anyone see it but you cried a lot. But you had never cried like this before
You lay in that classroom for what could have been an hour or could have been a year. Loud sobs clawing from your throat like a feral beast that had finally been released. You felt your head pound as you pressed your forehead to the floor. After some amount of time had passed your throat no longer allowed any sound but whimpers from you. You could still feel tears slide down your face dripping off your nose and pooling on its curves. Your face felt hot, too hot like it was boiling, flesh burning.Â
Your mouth tasted bitter. You felt so frail. So incredibly weak. When you finally managed to get to your feet it was dark out, the moon nearly full, stars so bright they seemed only inches away.Â
You made it outside easily, no one was around to stop you if there was you doubt they would have succeeded. You stepped out onto the dewy grass where you once lay with Sirius. Where he had kissed you, where you had said you loved him and where he hadn't responded.Â
You should have felt stupid, so fucking stupid, but you didnât. You didn't feel anything, anger, misery, hatred, despair and so many other bottles of feelings had been released. And now they were gone. And you felt numb. Your heart had slowed to its normal pace as you continued across the grass appearing silver in the moonlight.Â
You walked until your feet met with wood, you traveled out to the dock, the sound of crickets and small frogs filling you.Â
You stopped at the end of the dock. You contemplated taking another step, letting your body become a part of the darkness before you.Â
And then you did.Â
Your body hit the water and you were plunged into a cold you had never felt before. Your robes soaked instantly and you began to sink. You slowly parted your eyelids, you looked upwards at the celestial being above you quivering under the lense of wetness. You could see the moon, but your eyes didn't stay on the small planet for long. They traveled to the brightest star in the sky. Sirius. It blinked back at you slowly moving further and further away as your lungs began to burn. Your hair began to float in front of your face, your robes reaching towards the light as you were dragged backward by an unseeable force.Â
Then your eyes slipped shut and the fire inside you built, the burn strengthening. You could still see the bright star in your eyelids.Â
You felt the numbness suddenly disappear and for the first time in your entire life you were alone and you actually felt alive.Â
Your feet began to kick, black dress shoes moving in a flutter. You pushed yourself upwards, arms pumping as your eyes popped back open, your chest burnt, you would make it you knew you would, because you were still alive, and you would stay that way.Â
When you broke the surface of the water you immediately drew in a harsh breath forcing water further down your lungs as you began to cough. You managed to the shore collapsing in a heap of coughs. Until your lungs cleared and you were finally allowed to breathe normally again.Â
You're sitting staring out at the lake, ripples lingering from your plunge. The moon and stars reflected back at you making you feel as if you were trapped between two godly works of art and you could only stare, your heart thumped loudly you felt amazing, amused, and absolutely alive. Because you were alive. And you weren't about to let so asshole with mommy issues change that.Â
You felt a smile creep onto your lips as you stood. Your robes weighed what must have been thousands of pounds but you didn't care. You let out a light bubble of laughter chin tilting upwards as you breathed in deeply the scent of midnight dew and pond water filling you as your hair clung to your face. You extended your arms, spreading them like an eagle.
"I'm alive." You whispered up in the sky. And you were.Â
You awoke the next morning feeling as if you had dropped 50 pounds. Standing wasn't a struggle, your eyelids didn't drag downward, your heartbeat was lively and awake. You simply felt good.Â
When you arrived in the great hall for breakfast you were met with quite a few surprised faces. You could see Sirius staring at you from his corner of toxic masculinity. The surprise in his eyes made rage cycle through you. You were tempted to run and scream at him, but you didnât. You took a deep breath reminding yourself that was exactly what he wanted and you refused to give in to his wants ever again. You ate breakfast while reading one of your favorite books you had dug out of your trunk that morning. Everything seemed so much easier after last night.Â
You surprised just about everyone in your herbology class by being quite kind to the Hufflepuff who sat next to you. You had even asked for some help baffling the light-haired girl. During Transfiguration, you had made a point to apologize to McGonagall for missing that morningâs detention. Her eyes had gone wide and she had looked a bit pale, asking if you were alright which you assured her you were.Â
On your way to lunch, you did something absolutely unliveable. A young Gryffindor had been cornered in a remote hallway you used as a shortcut. You had come across five second-year girls who were teasing the poor girl, snickers leaving their mouth. You had debated continuing walking but you let out a sharp sigh and took a few steps towards the girls grabbing the two who were currently taking charge by their hair.Â
They had shrieked as you yanked them backward. Once they had turned and met your face the color had drained from their own. A sweet smile graced your lips. You asked them if they knew who you were. Both nodded quickly.Â
âGood.â You continued to grin, âThen you should know I donât bluff. Now I will ask you once. Leave this girl alone or next time I will rip the hair from your head.âÂ
They had scattered after you released them, their friends already long gone. You walked towards the girl on the ground. She had on large horn-rimmed glasses which magnified her sky blue eyes. Her teeth held bright pink banded braces, her hair a dirty blonde.Â
âLet me guess, youâre a mud- muggleborn.â You said catching yourself quickly.Â
She nodded slowly, she looked terrified.
You laughed a bit and she jumped. âDonât worry, Iâm not going to hurt you. Iâm a changed woman, plus muggles write the best books.â You winked. âIâm y/n y/l/n.â You extended a hand.Â
âRebecca Lastings.â She responded quietly, taking your offer as you helped pull her to her feet.Â
âWell, Iâm starving. You wanna get lunch?â You asked as you helped gather her scattered books.Â
She smiled a bit, âYeah sure.âÂ
Lunch was... interesting. Turned out that Rebecca had an older sister named Laney Lastings - in your opinion a very catchy name - and when she saw her sister eating lunch with one of the most infamous Slytherins she was reasonably concerned.Â
When the Ravenclaw had marched up to you as you were shoveling chicken salad into your mouth you had once again done the shocking thing. You smiled and greeted the girl.Â
âWhat are you doing with my little sister.â She had hissed cutting you short.Â
You shrugged, âEating.âÂ
The blonde scoffed, âBecc lets go.â she snatched her sisterâs arm but to her surprise Rebecca resisted.Â
âBut she was just telling me about a book she read.â The younger girl spoke softly. By the look on the olderâs face, you guessed she didnât defy orders often. âIt sounded very interesting.âÂ
Laney looked up at you. You just shrugged. âWhat is going on?â she looked a bit shook up.Â
âLook I know what you think of me, hell what every single person in this room thinks of me but Iâm a changed woman.â You explained, âI am honestly just talking to your sister, I have no intention of hurting her in any way shape or form.âÂ
Laneyâs eyes narrowed but Rebecca sat back down and took a bite of her peanut butter sandwich. âCome on y/l/n people donât just change overnight.âÂ
You shrugged again, âI did. Feel free to join us.â You motioned to the seat next to Laneyâs sister and to your surprise she took it. And for the first time in your entire life, you had made actual friends.Â
You dreaded detention the next morning but to your surprise, it was rather pleasant. When you entered the large room it was already sanctioned into two groups. One contained three boys sitting in neighboring desks while the second held one dark-haired boy at the back of the room glaring at the former group.Â
You raised an eyebrow in confusion and sat a few desks away from both crowds. You then began to sort the paperwork you were told to, taking a walkman out and clipping in a favored artist.Â
About halfway through the hour, you were drawn from your work when a figure appeared before you. You looked up to see a pair of hazel eyes and curly hair hidden under a navy beanie. You removed your headphones letting them rest around your neck giving him a questioning look.Â
âHey.â He managed, looking a bit unsure of himself.
âHey?â You responded, glancing at the group he had left meeting to pair of eyes which quickly darted away.
âSo umm, I know it's not really my place to say but Iâm sorry,â Remus spoke, biting his lip.Â
âWhy are you sorry?â You asked, still visibly confused.Â
He lowered his voice, âWhat Sirius did was really fucked up.â Suddenly the sanctions made sense, âAnd I just thought I would let you know that Iâm sorry on his behalf.âÂ
You let out a small laugh, âPlease donât Remus, you clean up enough of that boy's messes already, donât put this on yourself. But thanks anyway.â You shrugged going to put back on your headphones.Â
âLaney told me about what you did for her little sister.â He spoke in a rush.Â
You stopped, âAnd?âÂ
âShe has been trying to get those girls to leave Becc alone for like three months, she started skipping classes and meals to avoid them, it was bad. But you stopped them with one conversation. That was really nice of you y/n.â Remus stated.Â
âIt was whatever.â You answered with a shrug.Â
âIt really wasnât,â He protested, âBut look we both wanted to ask you if you wanted to come to our study session tomorrow night. We get together three times a week, itâs me Laney and a few others, theyâre all pretty chill and it would be great if you could come.âÂ
A smile found your face, âReally?âÂ
âYeah, we meet in the library after dinner.â He was playing with his fingers now.Â
âOkay, sure. That sounds awesome.â You said.Â
âGreat.â He grinned bouncing on the balls of his feet before turning and leaving.Â
âHey, Remus.â You called just before he made it back to his seat. He whipped his head to look at you. âThanks.âÂ
In all honesty, being nice was completely exhausting, actually caring what others thought of you took its toll, especially after the well-crafted reputation you had built for yourself. You had also started paying attention in classes for the first time in a long time so you had mountains of homework and suddenly understood your peerâs desperation for good grades. You tried to convince yourself that a study group was a brilliant idea but your worries ate away at you.Â
What happened when most of the group hated you? Would they cuss you out? What if they refused you despite Remusâs invitation? There was so much room for failure. Godric making friends was difficult.Â
You busied yourself with the nightly homework in the common room, you had gotten used to the strange looks you received. A whistle drew yourself from your herbology sketch.Â
âWow y/l/n, I did not expect you to turn into a loser when you found out.âÂ
You rolled your eyes at the familiar voice, âAvery.â You drawled.
âWhat has gotten into you?â He asked, taking a seat next to you, âFirst you help out a mudblood, then you go and make friends with her filthy sister and now you're doing Herbology homework?âÂ
You glared at the boy, âDonât call them that.âÂ
He only smirked back, âI must say you look much prettier without the bags beneath your eyes and a little effort put in.âÂ
âGo fuck yourself.â You spat resisting the urge to strangle him.Â
âThereâs the y/n I know.â He smiled triumphantly, âBut where has she been? People donât change overnight.âÂ
âWell, I did douchebag.â You hissed.Â
âNo you didn't.â he sneered, âYou're still the same stone-cold bitch, youâre just hiding it and let me tell you, I canât wait for that mask to break.âÂ
Your hand tightened around your quill, âShut up.âÂ
âIâll be there to catch you when you fall y/l/n. Iâm glad youâre wearing skirts again, you look hot.â He taunted his face so close to your own you could smell his cologne.Â
You were about to slap him but before you could a voice resonated through the air, âAvery back off her.âÂ
You both looked up and you met the gaze of a Slytherin you swear you had never seen before. He had dark hair and darker eyes, his face was sharply cut, lips looking far too rounded on his visage.Â
âWhat do you have on it Dapperton?â Avery asked leaning away from you.Â
âJust back off.â His tone was harsh, a thick Scottish accent in his voice.Â
âWhatever.â Avery scoffed standing and shooting you one last glance before leaving the room.Â
âYou okay?â The boy you now knew as Dapperton asked.
âYeah, fine.â You managed.Â
âCool, listen I was wondering if you could help me with my Arithmetic, Iâve heard you are pretty good at it.â He said.Â
âSure. Iâm y/-âÂ
âI know who you are.ââ He laughed, âIâm Lewis. Lewis Dapperton.âÂ
âOkay, nice to meet you, Lewis.âÂ
You had made three official friends.Â
You tried not to let Averyâs words bother you as the days passed. But it was hard. The study group had been a bit awkward but not all that bad, Lewis was actually a member much to your surprise. Nights became difficult again. The idea that maybe this was just a passing phase and that it was simply a few good days got to you. I mean people didnât just change overnight.Â
But I did. You screamed at yourself. I swear I did.
It all came crashing into a dreadful climax two weeks after night it all started.Â
It had been two weeks of confusion that morphed to anger and soon into sadness and jealousy for Sirius Black. When he had seen you in the great hall the night after you had found out about the thirty points he had almost shit his pants. You were up? And you were smiling?! He was sure you were going to come over and rip his throat out at breakfast. But you didnât You just sat at your isolated seat at the end of the Slytherin table and read, looking surprisingly relaxed.Â
You had left a bit early and Remus had dumped his pumpkin juice on him saying he was a complete objectifying asshole and part of the reason why women were not viewed equal to men. Leave it to the feminist to ruin a perfectly normal bet. He had made the mistake of saying that out loud and caused an uproar at the Gryffindor table.Â
He had seen you working in the few shared classes you had and had been quite surprised. How was it you were having a better day than him? He supposed karma bit harshly. When you saw you at lunch sitting with a young Gryffindor girl he had once again been completely boggled. And soon you were joined by a Ravenclaw as well. What universe was he in?Â
That night he had gotten into another heated argument with his best friends. One that ended in him sleeping in the common room, locked away from his bed.Â
He had dreamt of you. That night when you had stargazed. When you had kissed him. When you had told him you loved him. He dreamt of your lips on his, hands in his hair, the dew seeping through his robes and the chirp of crickets.Â
The next morning sucked. He sat alone during detention forced to watch as you happily hummed along to your music. Your hair was pulled back and it looked surprisingly nice. You were also wearing a skirt. When did you get so pretty? Remus talked to you and mentioned him. Sirius bit his tongue not wanting to cause a scene. Plus the glare James was giving him hurt on another level.Â
The week got worse and worse. Suddenly you had friends and had started hanging out with a far too handsome Slytherin. You also choose that week to look ridiculously gorgeous and suddenly his thoughts were full of you. He found himself missing your scent and the texture of your hair. The sound of your laughter was a drug he had been deprived of.Â
His dreams of you got worse. He dreamt that he had told you he loved you when you asked. He dreamed he hadnât left you alone. He dreamed of laughing in detention with you, making out in broom closets, going to quidditch matches together, sleeping with you.Â
He woke each day more aggravated than the last. Why the fuck was he the one suffering? It wasnât fair. Well, he supposed it was. Finally, he gathered his remailing pride and tossed it out a window before cornering you on the way back from herbology.Â
âY/n please just give me a minute.â He begged as you began to walk away.Â
âSirius I have wasted far too many of my minutes on you.â You spat glaring past the boy.
âPlease.â He pleaded.
You sighed tapping your foot angrily, âYouâve got one minute.â
It was then Sirius realized he had absolutely no plan, âWhatâs up with you?âÂ
âWhat?â You glowered refusing to meet his eye.
âI mean youâre all nice and shit and youâre actually hanging out with people. Itâs weird.â He explained.
âSo, me being nice is weird?â You clarified.Â
âYeah! People donât change overnight!â He rationalized.Â
âSo Iâve been told.â You murmured, âLook if this is all just about me being nice then please save me time and leave me alone.âÂ
Sirius groaned, âItâs not just that! How are you so, so I donât know okay?â
You finally looked him in the eyes and he really wished you hadnât. Your eyes were dark with anger, narrowed to slits, reminding him of a snake. âYou wanna know why Iâm so okay?â You asked and suddenly he didnât. âBecause I was really really not fucking okay.âÂ
Sirius was visibly confused, âWhat?âÂ
âI almost drowned myself that night Sirius.â You hissed.Â
His heart stopped. âWhat.âÂ
âYeah.â You snarled, âI walked straight off that dock, shoes and all, and I let myself sink halfway to the bottom before I decided I wanted to live.â You spoke gesturing towards the lake.
Sirius wanted the earth to swallow him whole. You wouldnât have opposed.Â
âAnd when finally reached the shore I had an epiphany.â You spoke with false glamor. âI suddenly realized I wasnât going to let cock suckers like you and my parents decided anything about me and the way I live my life.âÂ
Sirius wanted to break into tears. He started at you. The face he had been dreaming of for weeks meer meters from him and suddenly realized how desperately in love with you he was.Â
âSo guess what, I changed overnight because I would have died if I didnât.â You spat before brushing past him without another word. Sirius grabbed your wrist as you passed.
You turned glaring at him.Â
âI think Iâm in love with you.â He spoke his voice breaking halfway through the sentence.Â
âYou know I canât answer that.â You scoffed snatching your wrist from his hold and turning to leave.Â
Sirius watched as you left so full of regret he couldnât think of anything but what-ifs. When you were out of sight he sat on the ground and began to cry.Â

Betrayal
FFXIVWrite2021 Day 5 Free Day
Eâdarin stood on the aft deck of the Briar staring up at the lurid red moon descending from the sky, a deep sense of foreboding filling him. He flattened his ears as once again he heard what he could swear was a quiet haunting song itâs words barely discernible. His head began to pound once more and he felt more than heard three words: HearâŠ.FeelâŠ.Think.
He growled shaking his head trying to clear it of these phantom sounds as he heard a voice behind him, âCaptain, the crew would like a word with ye,â
Whirling he came to face his first mate, the scrawny Midlanderâs good eye filled with hatred and anger. Returning the look with a quizzical one he replied, âWell then have 'em gather then Iâll hear their words.â
Moments later his crew clambered onto the aft deck all of them wearing a similar expression to the First Mates. Trepidation filled the Seeker as his finely honed instincts told him there was danger in those eyes.
Still not one to back down from such he asked in a strident voice, âAlright lads, what words do ye have?â
His First Mate Tristian sneered, âYeâve gone soft on us Captain, we ainât part o that stupid Accord, so why are we ignornin so many prizes just cause they fly Limsan Colors.â
âSimple lad,â he replied, âWe ain't part o the Accord cause my da yer last Captain decided tâwas best we wait n see how it pans out. N we leave the Limsan ships te themselves cause we respect the Code. Don't steal from yer own.â
âThey ainât our own ye bastard, theyâre yella bellied cowards that decided to cow to te the bitch Admiral an her pack o do gooders. Weâre pirates! We take what we want,â Tristian snarled, all around him the crew murmuring in angry agreement.
Eâdarin shook his head, âWe do that an the Upright Thieves would be painting our deck with our blood afore we could wheeze sorry through our gapin throats.â
The Midlander snorted, âSo ye believe them old tales? Them thatâs supposed te keep us in check n make us pay fer breaking the Code. Their fairy tales captain ale sodden dreams o fools that think that such as ours can be controlled.â
The Miqoâte again shook his head at the young fool. The Thieves werenât just tales they are folk that existed and punish those that do wrong by the code, âYe got it wrong lad, they do exist and youâll be finding one o their blades at yer throat in the darkmans ye keep thinking like thatâ
The Midlander just rolled his good eye before stating, âYer also denying us a good steady bit o pay. I heard what that blue tattoo faced bastard said te ye last time we was in port. He and his would pay us good money if we snatched em small folk from the fishing villages.â
Eâdarinâs eyes narrowed; he recalled the bastard that Tristian was referring to; he also knew that the man was a Serpent Reaver and their offer was little more than a trap to dragoon his ship into their service.
âYe wanna be a thrall te the fishbacks flunkies yer free te leave the ship, Hells Ill let ye even take an away boat fer it. Its a long row back te shore but ye could make it. I however want nothin te do with em or their schemes.â He responded dryly.
Some of the crew began to change their tune as they heard that.  He figured few of them knew how to spot the Reavers. His father had been very keen on making sure his son knew well before he took command of the ship. They were not proper pirates they were just servants to the Sahagin.
Tristian, seeing he was losing the crewâs support, snarled, âSay whatcha will itâd be a sight better than the scraps we've managed these past moons. N what's the worry bout a few fishers ain't like any o them are blood o ours.â
Once again the crew began grumbling and shouting at him. It was clear they felt he was robbing them of what they believed was rightfully theirs. Standing to his full height he shouted over their babble, âSo what's it te be then, a mutiny? Look above ye lads ye think folk are thinking o sailing with that bleeding thing bearing down on em!â
He raised his hand above him pointing at the crimson moon that dominated the night sky behind him. He then shifted reading himself for battle seeing that his words had no effect on the angry mob.
Tristian grinned in triumph, âAye Captain this is a mutiny. The crew stands with me, we are pirates, we take what we want, and kill what we want. Ainât nobody that can tell us otherwise not some phantom thieves, not some uptight shiites or a coward o a captain.â
Eâdarin drew his axe snarling, âWell then lad ye want it take it!â
Tristian simply drew his pistol and fired a single shot at the Miqoâte tearing into his left shoulder. The force of the shot knocked him into the rails, his axe falling to his feet. âPitch him over the side lads. Let the sharks take him.â
Several of the crew rushed forward and lifted the wounded Seeker off his feet and tossed him into the sea below. On the ship he could hear Tristian cackling then stated, âAlright lads lets get us some folk and then some coin.â
Pain seared through Eâdarinâs body as he desperately tried to keep his head above the towering waves with one useless arm. Struggling he swam as best he could looking for anywhere to be but the open sea. It didn't take long for a few sharks to begin to circle drawn to his blood. After striking one or two in the snout they decided to find easier prey elsewhere leaving the floundering Miqoâte alone. Minutes felt like hours and he could feel the effects of the blood loss but the stubborn Seeker refused to give up. Â
Just when he thought he had enough, suddenly the lowering moon burst open in a bright explosion showering every ilm of the world with parts of itself or so it seemed. Then in the sky where the moon had been appeared a massive dragon. The thing had to be bigger than Limsa Lominsa for there was no other way this far away Eâdarin could see it. The beast let out a deafening roar even at this distance and then the sky lit with a shower of falling stars.
Several struck the sea and Eâdarin prayed that his luck didn't further sour and one land on him. He did get the satisfaction of seeing one strike the Briar amidships setting the ship ablaze. He gave a feral grin as he heard the traitors scream in agony as the flames licked them and watched in glee as they leapt into the sea in an attempt to put themselves out.  In a matter of moments the burning ship sank beneath the restless waves of the Rhotano. Â
Which was a boon to him as the debris began to bob up and a stray spar was all but launched over to him by the churning waves. Grabbing hold of it with his good arm gave him a bit more buoyancy than he had before. Deciding to put as much distance as possible between him and the wreck he kicked with all his might feeling his strength beginning to flag from blood loss. Â
As he swam the sky lit with another light and a bright blue ball began to form around the massive dragon only to be shattered by the infernal beast. The dragon's mouth began to glow and it was clear that it was intent on destruction. Â
Well looks like this is the end Eâdarin thought barely able to cling to the spar due to how tired he was. He closed his eyes just waiting for the end when there was a brilliant white flash and he lost consciousness.
*******************************************************************************************
The first thing Eâdarin became aware of was the searing pain of his shoulder and the fact that somehow he was still alive. He opened his mismatched eyes to be staring at the rough planks of some kind of ceiling.Â
âGood te see yer awake lad, thought Llymlaen was gonna call ye te the sea several times.â a voice said to his side
Carefully turning his head he saw the wizened face of an elderly Roegadyn smiling at him a bowl of water in her hands, bandages on her arms.
âTe be honest maâam thought she was gonna to, How did I end up âere last I recall was floatin midsea looking at some demon o a dragon intent on destroyin the world.â He rasped
The Roe simply nodded replying, âYe washed up on the beach here gave most o the village a further fright. They thought ye was a spirit sent te attack by that same beast. Then when they realized ye were just a shipwrecked cat they dragged ye te me shack te be seen to. Now lets get them bandages changed.â
Carefully pushing himself up he looked dispassionately on as she undid the soiled bandages hissing in pain. As he saw the wound he realized it could have been worse and the Roe as if reading his thoughts stated, âYe got lucky lad any further in n it woulda been yer heart.â
Nodded he asked, âWill it interfere with me using an axe?â
Studying him for a moment she replied, âSo long as ye wait fer it te heal probably not, I got the ball outta there n there wasn't much damage te the bone seems the muscle took the brunt o it.â
Nodding in understanding he let her finish her ministrations then leaned back, âGuess I gotta impose upon yer hospitality fer a bit maâamâ
She gave him a gap toothed grin in response, âAs if Iâd ever complain bout a handsom cat in me home. Mind ye yer not me type I prefer em broader n more green but yer pretty faceâll do in a pinch te look at.â
He gave her a hearty laugh then settled down to sleep deciding it was best to allow himself to heal before determining his next course. As if it were trying to tell him it would be the one his head pounded once more and he heard the words again HearâŠ.FeelâŠ.Think.  Â
Just what am I supposed te be hearing, feeling n thinking bout? He mentally asked the strange unheard voice. Guess Iâll have te see what course allows me just that just so ye shut up.
With that he allowed sleep to take him the last thing he heard was the elderly Roe closing the door behind her shuffling footsteps.
