Hello! This is my first time doing a request like this so I'm sorry if it's not to your liking ;v; Also I wasn't sure if you meant that Reader already has Zhongli and only got his cons or didn't have him and got him with his cons so I went that Reader just got him with his cons! ------

You were so determined. Primogems are ready, the artifacts’ are ready, now the only thing what you need to do is get Zhongli and all his constellations. His banner will be up the next day, you smiled to yourself while looking at the best artifacts’ you gathered. -“Tomorrow is the day! I’m going to get all of your cons!” you said in sing song voice. “So goodnight!” and with that you logged off. Zhongli couldn’t help but smile. Tomorrow he will be finally part of your team. The wait was worthy it and nothing makes him even happier than seeing how much you prepared just for him. He couldn’t be by ‘your side’ when you were farming artifacts’, but from the characters you were taking to do domains, he learned how much time and resources you used just to get the best for him. From tomorrow he will show you his appreciation to you.

The next day you logged in, the first thing you did was to go to his banner. -“Alright…please…. Zhongli come home!!!” and you did 10 pull, the wish turned into gold one and you gasped. Zhongli couldn’t help but chuckle, trying to imagine your expression. -“Omg Yes!! Welcome home!!!” you shouted, he could hear you jumping. How much he wished that he could see you right now but for now he will enjoy your lovely, happy voice. -“You have to love me very much don’t you? Came at like… 20 pity? Woah!” he does love you, normally they shouldn’t come so soon but this time won’t hurt anyone right? You still want to get his constellations anyway.  But he has too big soft spot for you, whenever you lost 50/50 and he heard your disappointed voice he couldn’t stop from not making the next pull be his constellation. Even if later others will argue with him for doing that, he doesn't care, for him the most important things is your happiness.

You did so much just for him, so he will do anything for you as long as you will let him be by ‘your side’. After all, you become someone important to him.

Graduation day (Dante x Fem!Daughter!Reader)

You stood on the stage in your college auditorium in your gown and cap, eagerly awaiting your turn to receive your diploma and to be pronounced an official college graduate.

You had to admit, your stomach was full of butterflies and your heart was pounding so loudly, you could hear it in your ears. You were clearly very nervous, but also excited. You were about to complete a goal you'd been aiming for since your early teens, maybe earlier. The only thing that could make this better would be to have your dad present for the ceremony, but...it seemed he was occupied with a job and couldn't make it back in time.

Sighing softly, you turned your head to look at the empty seat in which he should have been sitting in, starting to lose hope that he'd ever show up. Very soon, it was your turn to come onstage, as everyone else had already been presented with their diplomas and given their short speeches. As you neared the speaker, who had your diploma in hand, ready to give it to you, a loud rumbling from outside stole everyone's attention.

Confused, you turned your head to the entrance, the supposed source of the noise, expecting some kind of machinery to be wheeled in, or something like that. Instead, you were met with a middle aged, white haired devil hunter riding on a demonic motorcycle, whooping and laughing the entire time.

"Hey, sweetie," He called, rocketing into the auditorium and landing perfectly onto the center of the stage. "Did I miss the ceremony?"

"Daddy!" You squealed, running into his arms, ignoring the confused and irritated looks from your classmates, professors, and everyone else present. "You came after all....for a sec, I thought you wouldn't."

"Aww, you know I'd never miss an important day like this," Dante chuckled, handing you a helmet with a graduation cap glued onto it. "Now hop on and let's blow this joint."

Giggling happily, you jumped onto your dad's motorcycle and held on tight as you sped off. The entire assembly was in shock for a few moments before the speaker remembered she still had your diploma in her han, and proceeded to run after the two or you, frantically shouting for you two to come back.

You stood in front of your mirror, preparing for a date night with Dante. You had most of your outfit on already, from your cute top to your hairdo; all that was left was your jeans, which lay on the bed nearby. You reached over, grabbed said jeans, and began tugging them on when you noticed how snugly they seemed to fit around your waist. It wasn't that the jeans were tight, they just seemed to emphasize your waist a bit more than you would have liked. You felt your heart drop into your stomach as you realized this, a sudden, unwanted memory crashing into your mind, filling your ears with loud shouting you wished you could block out.

"Go and change out of those clothes, you fat pig!" You heard your father shout. Even though he was not in the room without, he sounded as though he were.

"You're disgusting!" Your mother yelled. "Go put on some looser pants, or don't go out at all. I don't want to be seen with such an ugly, fat young woman!"

"Worthless!" Your father roared. "You're never going to be worth anything, you won't even be able to give us grandchildren."

You clamped your hands over your ears, trying so very hard to mute the shouts, taunts, and derogatory words, not realizing you were crying until your vision clouded over. Attempting to see through the liquid fog obscuring your vision, you became vaguely aware of a red-clothed figure rushing into your room, and felt the soothing warmth of two strong arms wrapping around you and pulling you close.

"Hey, baby, baby, don't cry," He whispered, running a hand through your hair soothingly. "It's all in your head baby, none of it's real. Not anymore. You're safe. I'm here."

At the sound of Dante's voice, you relaxed considerably, your arms subconsciously coming up and wrapping around his waist as you clung to him, sobbing uncontrollably.

I started this over a year ago and came back to it periodically, but I decided to just finally finish it. It’s morphed, undone itself, and transformed many times in the process of illustrating it. Sincerely, I considered giving up on the piece. I am glad I didn’t despite its awkwardness; I admit that it doesn’t sit in the eye well. But somehow I feel that it suits the piece and what it means.
