the way bloodline introduced an itch it barely scratched for me. What was it like for Jin to learn his father's name for the first time. Like yeah of course, Jin would need to do 0.5 seconds of research on Kazuya to learn that uh oh daddy was kind of a really shitty person (and we saw it onscreen, even) but Im wondering about the very first moment, in the three years where Jin trained with Heihachi, like, did Jin asked one day? Did Heihachi answered? Did Jin looked up who Heihachi's son -his father- was on his own? How did it felt, to finally put a name on the missing man he's been indirectly calling "father" all this time. And Jin keep asking too! Like first episode, Kazuya (or his absence moreso) feel present bc hes literally the first character we hear just before Jun wakes up! Jin asks Jun why they dont talk all that much about him! If you had a man in that house, the boy'd know better! Jin doesnt even look like he hates him bc he literally doesnt know anything about him! And episode 3 is aaaaaall about Jin trying to figure out stuff about his father, it's important enough to get a whole episode about it. And its so... something to me that Jin wants to confirm that badly what happened to his dad, even look upset at the notion Heihachi killed him, even after being told Kazuya was "a mean bastard, evil incarnate"! Fuck! Waiter! Waiter! More complicated father and son feelings please!
#and then jin get shot in the head and meet kazzy in t4 and went Nvm Fuck This Entire Guy#sorry i love my guys i want them to hnhngngh INTERACT on a personal level again#t8 was great but im still hungry#tagging later
