this may sound kind of weird, but I think the hardest part about being neurodivergent for me is never understanding social systems, especially patriarchy. 

It bewilders me every time, and I feel like it wasn’t always there when I was young- that everyone was on equal ground, and then maybe one day I was sick from school and there was an assembly where everyone was told about it but me. 

majority of social groups became centered around men, and even the ones that were mostly woman were based off of how much men liked them. 

and then suddenly I was “too loud” and “too aggressive.”: So I was forced to soften myself, but then I apparently became “Fake” and a “pick me” 

I do not know how to exist in that space and it is exhausting, and all I want to be is Cassie.

Sorry guys, I know it's been a LONG TIME. So much has happened during this accidental tumblr-break;

- I've been working as a librarian and I have loved it so fucking much!

- I moved to a nice apartment

- I have gotten so many plants help I have a problem

- I finally got my first ever tattoo

And some things have stayed the same; I still have awful mental health at times but trying to work on it.

I’m interested because I feel like when I was in high school/college in the mid-10s, almost nobody smoked - even if you otherwise had some pretty hard vices. I think it was considered not really worth it for something with such a small buzz. But now, idk. Maybe the advertisers are right to target people here because it’s just that popular again??

Eggs for Killie is over!

I award myself the 150th egg for all of the little bits of art. Thank you so much for inspiring me to make them! It’s been really amazing to see all the hard work and to truly appreciate the wide range of crafts and activities everyone can do. Bobbin lace? Shoemaking? Knife forging? Translating Irish? It’s genuinely incredible.

I also really appreciated the people who were taking a rest, too. Thank you for that as well.

And I SUPER, SUPER appreciate everyone who was going through saying encouraging words, leaving replies/reblogging with comments, or liking all these posts. That was also a huge outpouring of kindness and time. I saw you doing it (and tried to make sure OPs did too) and any credit for people feeling empowered? That’s for YOU.
