the worst thing about being forgetful is not being able to remember. Will I forget how hard ive worked to get the decent grades I have, the sleepless, stressful nights? Will I forget how to play my instrument if I don’t touch it for a while? Will I never touch my sewing machine again? Will I forget about my best friend?

And the worst part of it all, is that I know I will. And maybe it’s the ADHD in me that makes me so forgetful, but everyone else seems to not have these problems. They can remember their whole life (or at least most of it), they can recall exact memories of moments they loved, or hated, were sad or angry. But I can’t do that. If I think back, I can only really remember about 16 memories in total from my childhood, and I guess that seems like a lot, but if you think about how long you’re a child it doesn’t feel like that many. i hate being told to just remember things, and if I just wrote it down then I would remember, but it doesn’t really work that way for me. Even if I write it down I’ll forget I wrote it down, or if I do remember I’ll remember way too late.
