that's so cute! thank you for asking! i honestly never really thought about their love languages. but i kind of agree with you that thame and po have both and the way they portray those languages are vastly different.

however, in my opinion, thame's main love languages are physical touch and words of affirmation. there are many instances when he really wanted to touch po, especially when they're emotionally closer. but he believes po isn't ready yet for something more advanced (i have a feeling thame has an inkling about po's heartbreaking past). but i think thame will be bolder once they've passed this one obstacle (read: jun 😅). and i think, by that time, he won't stop showering po with kisses and hugs. they'll be the cutest 🙈🥰 and we all know how thame is persistent and more open to express his admiration for po. however, i find it quite stressful that thame doesn't really talk about his feelings, always brushing it off with "it's okay." i hope he can be more honest with po in the future because i believe, po also wants to know what thame is feeling 🥺

for po, his love language would be quality time and words of affirmation too. i think po really favours slow, quiet nights with thame. just lounging around while doing nothing: maybe watching a movie or just snuggling on the sofa. i think po is very touchy and he loves physical intimacy. we don't see this yet but i think we will once their relationship progresses in the next episodes. i can also see po demanding kisses from thame, but is too shy to say it aloud 🤭 but the gentleman thame is, he already knows what po wants 🙈 additionally, i think po became a lonely shell while he was with earn. it was quite difficult for him to crawl out of the cocoon due to his emotional trauma. i view po as someone who holds back so much because of his fears of abandonment and betrayal. i can see in the way he acts around thame, like he's so careful around him, but he also wants more 🥺 it's kind of heartbreaking to know that po doesn't believe in himself that much and is constantly wanting affirmation. but thame helps him accept who he really is, and it's only a matter of time before po can really let himself free.

general hcs 1) scar is a... very practical guy i would say. despite his strength lies in his words he would still favour showing care and affection. yknow stuff like cutting fruits for someone without asking. hes littered with small fleeting gestures and only someone who knows him well enough like grian could pick up on them 2) personally i always see grian as the loud annoying friend/partner/whatever you wanna call it. sure he sometimes uses it as an excuse to repress things he doesnt wanna talk about (this is where scar would usually coax him out of it) but his loudness can be really handy at times when an uneasy awkwardness fall between them. ALTHOUGH this doesnt mean grian won't 'shut down' when the situation arises (because i like quiet grian too) 3) not sure how to fit in one small paragraph about my dynamic hc for them but i can say with full conviction grian and scar would stick fruit labels onto each other's forehead when grocery shopping to piss the other off. hope this helps 😁😁

where the light touches hcs: 1) i really really like the hc that scar is so unphased by everything because hes jaded like that (whether a placid facade or no) like oh suddenly he managed to sign himself up for a death game. oh heres an immortal who wounded up in his path. oh suddenly he needs to start manipulating people to win. and hes like ok 👍 (he was first runner up in 3rd life for a reason) 2) for grian i like that hes kinda cunning in his own way. like yes hes not to full power with his watcher abilities stripped away and he can be kinda weak at times, but then he uses this front to trick people and when their guards are let down and turns the battle's tide with it. literally a small guy who packs a punch to those who underestimate him 3) for the both of them, my hc will always be that they have no choice but to trust each other wholeheartedly. because one small falter can cause their faction to fall and the only way they succeeded is because they dont second guess every time when the other will put a knife behind their back. sure this is not a popular hc but in 3rd life grian constantly stood by scar's side so. also its my storyverse and i get to pick the dynamics!!!!

this is a reoccurring thing to appear in wars (WWI for example) where everything from people to vehicles, equipments getting stuck or lost into the mud. porliveans unlucky enough to be assigned during the rainy season of contidel are inevitable to experience it

they can be on the sky as long as they can, but they have to land at some point. buildings and rubble aren't very safe as that's where most contids can easily target them better than on ground

once porliveans land, they're guaranteed to lose everything important to their mission, and themselves

imagine having to survive after you're all soaked, having experienced a shooting through the flooded desert of the battlefield. constantly stuck on wherever you step, and you finally reach shelter in the trench. but it's the enemy's trench

starving and freezing in filth, home of disease-ridden pests, any equipment you dropped outside are impossible to be pulled out while you're breathing in fumes of the rotting corpses of both your enemies and your peers.

no one can help you even if they spotted you. they'll just subject themselves to the same fate, along with enemies having the upper hand. this is their territory, every step feels like a risk of a landmine.

you can't sleep for days, weeks, you don't even know anymore. you have to keep watch for possible surprise attacks, because this shelter waits for your mistakes to attack you

while yes, i agree to what you said, i also have to disagree. fem!max would have her father throwing his weight around, a man who has many contacts, including the schumacher's. fem!charles had none of that, not even jules could've brought her so far like a father who is established in the motorsport world would have.

and of course, fem!max wouldn't be very different from actual max but do you really think red bull would just not do anything? they would be the team, who have the first woman who won a race, won several championships (later), they would invest in her and they wouldn't just idly sit by and watch everyone rip her apart

red bull would invest in her because 1. they see her talent, they see what she can do and they don't want that to go wasted, because they also see she can use that talent, 2. getting a woman like fem!max as a driver would fit their mentality, the motto of red bull. they advertise their drink not with typical advertising, they do it with world records and crazy attempts in all kinds of sports. it's their essence, it's captured in the "red bull gives you wings". having someone like fem!max would fit perfectly. 3. now the former two reasons, make up the third one. red bull does NOT want a pr perfect athlete/driver, like charles for example. they want someone rough around the edges, someone bullheaded, so with fem!max, they don't want a blond princess. considering max's personality, it's perfect (in some degree) for them, because they don't have to fake the toughness!!

rb pr would work so much harder to show who fem!max is. to show the world that max is an athlete, one of her kind, not just any woman within motorsport, she is THE woman. she's blunt, does not lie, values honesty and hard work (because she does it herself), is absolutely obsessed with racing and cars, and has some weird quirks like everyone else! red bull pr doesn't want a humble female driver, they want someone who represents their brand, so everyone immediately associates them with their driver, when they just hear the driver's name.

The short answer to your question is: no, I don't think he would have. Part of this is because I have very purposefully written Tommy and Lucy as being incapable of living without each other. Even before Grace's death, they were quite codependent (though this admittedly got much more pronounced after her death) and Tommy relied on her massively for so many things.

I could see him trying to keep going on for awhile after, for Charlie and Grace if not for anything else. But he would be a complete shell of himself, and what was left of him would start unraveling quickly. As much as I love her and her relationship with Tommy, I'm just not sure if Grace would have had to tools to be able to help him the way that Lucy could.

At the end of the day, Lucy is able to provide support and understanding to Tommy in a way that no one else can. I think that he truly feels like she is the only person in the world who actually loves him unconditionally. And I think that's part of why he's so much more willing to open up to her than a lot of the other characters in the series. Her ability to understand his thought processes, actions, and feelings without him even having to explain them to her a lot of the time is a huge part of why she's his main source of emotional support. Losing that would be crippling for him.

I think that Grace would try her best, and they both would be hurting hugely from the loss of Lucy. But as you said, Grace struggles more to understand him than Lucy did, and I think Tommy would grow frustrated at her not just being able to immediately tune-into him like Lucy could. And his PTSD symptoms would get worse, particularly his inability to stop working in an attempt to distract himself from the pain and grief. That would have caused conflict with Grace, especially long term.

I also could see him thinking that Grace and Charlie would be fine or even better off without him, and seriously contemplating and perhaps even going through with committing suicide.

Sorry for such a downer answer! 😭 You are right that generally speaking, I always have written Lucy as being Tommy's #1 person. It doesn't mean that he didn't love Grace and that she wasn't important to him, but Lucy is his soulmate.

anyway back in late may / early june i was really chatty and kept yapping on abt random shit, i stayed up for 5 days straught and when i did manage to sleep it was for a few hours, i kept having random nonsensical thoughts, i coukdnt stay still, despite my usual hate for cleaning i cleaned my room at 2am and the entire house, skipped school for a week, did sm studying, walked for miles without realising it (like 3 or 4 before i even stopped to think that ive been walking for too long), and had high self esteem like id be walking n convinced people were staring because of how good i was at it LMFAO

lasted like 9 days and the drop after was so bad n painful (then had a two month long depressive episode)

imo looking back on it it was VERY outta character even for me sm with a usyally bubbly personality (when im not depressed 😭)
