This moment made such a powerful statement. You can see the anger his stare holds. He made the statement not to swear with the oath because it would be a lie. The system has failed him and multiple other victims. So, he sees no point in upholding the law to a corrupt system and has decided to take the law into his own hands. That is my take on this scene.

First of all I just love the way she talks! She uses words like 'squander' and 'sycophant' and aghh I love it. And this quote??- 'More good women have been lost to marriage then to war, famine, disease and disaster'. This is the line that first got me interested in her. Like... its extreme (Of course women can be married and still be powerful and amazing as hell) but there is truth to it and I love a mean old woman who's not afraid at all to say it.

Her HAIR. Its just perfect!! It looks so soft and fluffy and? the colour and the volume?? How??? It is iconic and I love drawing it, looking at it, thinking about playing with it... XD Its just great, alright?

How sorry she was about Anita's pregnancy 😅😅😅 Babe same. I've said it before and I'll say it again, if I got pregnant I would want people to respond the same way 😅😅😅 That's just personal thing, of course, I know most people would be happy to be with baby and wish to be congratulated but hey- that's why she's my f/o XD

OKAY BUT?? HIS TALKING?? The line 'Come to Daddy you little bitch'?? That wry chuckle and 'Heh, whadaya mean?' all-too-innocent after someone asks him where the hell he's taking them?? Using 'clicks' as a measurement of distance? 💙 The fact that he calls himself a 'greedy old fart' as well as a 'cripple'? 😅

HE HAS REDEEMABLE QUALITIES. WHICH IS A NEW ONE FOR ME XD He respects his mother ('Mrs Bickerman wasnt a very good housekeeper' // 'Hey. That's no way to talk about the dead, son'), he is apparently against stealing (When a woman in Vs Anaconda suggests they take a boat he's very serious in telling her that doesn't belong to us), yes he was very creepy with that one girl in Final Chapter but he did not go to touch her at all which I think is pretty good compared to some other Englund characters 😅 as well as other F/O's of mine (Past or present), he was semi-nice to Max, etc.

His reaction to getting a gun pulled on him will never not be my favourite XD Like 'oh for gods sake, this again?'. And- you can see- he is almost laughing!

Also- I BET he could build a campfire. And that?? I don't know why but??? That is TOP TIER for me. I just-... oooffffffffffffffffffffff. Just 👌 Haha XD Where did my underwear go??-

Otis B Driftwood: I dunno, he's just... very comforting to me??? Ahhhhhhh.

I think its been very well established by now I love characters that don't hold back. They're brutally honest- usually in a mean, cruel way. Cruella De Vil is one, Slenderman is another, and Otis is one too. Maybe I just like that I always have that option?; not the killing or being mean obviously, but that just being grumpy instead of forcing a smile on is there as choice if I need it. I used to go into a 'Slenderman persona' when I had an oral presentation in school?? 😂😂😂 Which just means I was able to be still. I wasn't worried about what anyone else thought cuz who cares what they think, 'I hate them all anyway' (Which was of course not true, it was just apart of the 'persona' 😅). Otis is a riff off of that time in my life, I think XD 😅 When I'm having a bad day nowadays and I'm still forced to be out and about I might start thinking a bit snarky like him 😅😅😅 I know, I have some off defense mechanisms.

ANYWAY- he's absolutely rot incarnate and that is why you watch the movies XD He's a like a train wreck. You cant look away.

His voice in general ahhhhhhhhh. I wanted him to degrade me at first, admittedly XDD But now I want praise. And degradation actually. BOTH! And its not the actors real voice, either, I saw a video on Tik Tok of Rupert and he was talking completely different- then at the end abruptly PUT ON HIS CALLAHAN VOICE FOR A LAST LINE and ohhh BOY I was finished. XD

Oh my goodness, he yanked my dormant teacher/professor kink back to life by its ankles!-

The fact that they made the character so much worse in the musical??? Like in the movie (Victor Garber ver.) he's kind of likeable at the start, making a joke or two to release the tension in his classroom- but THIS version is like crush grandma so we can get laid IMMEDIATELY!! G o d. I love villains. And he is a classic case of no-holds-barred, black and white, Disney Villain-esque, walks-off-chuckling bastardry and I love it.

hi can you make a tutorial on how you sharpen your gifs? i especially love the black and white ones you make

Hi Nonnie! Sorry you've had to wait a little bit, I've just been really insanely busy with a thousand things 😅 Anyway, I'm not sure how exactly to do this, but hopefully this makes sense!

We'll be doing this scene, to go from the top gif to the bottom gif:

(This tutorial assumes basic knowledge of gif-making and smart filters, and is probably long-winded because I haven't been making gifs for very long, but this is the way I do mine.)

Couple things to note that make a huge difference before you even start:

Use high-quality videos! I try not to go below 1080p for anything, and sometimes that means downloading bigger files.

Make sure that whatever application you use to get your frames isn't distorting them, or skipping frames. I use MPV player.

Make sure your gif size is correct when you crop it, if you're posting it somewhere). For example, if you're making a single gif on a row, Tumblr's optimum width is 540px. If you make it 500px, or 550px or whatever, it's going to look super crunchy and weird after you post it, so stick to their sizes.

We're gonna begin at this page (if you need a tutorial on how to get here, let me know, but I'm assuming you know!)

First, make sure your gif is a smart object! If your gif isn't a smart object, you won't be able to apply the smart filters. If it is, you'll see this symbol next to it. To convert all your layers to a smart object, select them all, right-click, and select "convert to smart object."

Next, duplicate your gif layer so you have two. Hide the top layer and select the bottom layer. Your layers should look like this:

Remember we're working on the bottom layer first! Go to Filter > Sharpen > Smart Sharpen. Use these settings, depending on what looks best for your gif/video quality:

The radius can be set to 0.2px to 0.5px depending on your quality/preference. You can also choose to remove Lens Blur instead of Gaussian Blur but these are my preferred settings. (I don't do anything with the Shadows and Highlights section)

Next, do another Smart Sharpen, but this time, use these settings:

(a popular choice for this second smart sharpen is 10%-10px, but I like the clarity 20% gives just a little bit more.)

This is what my layers look like right now:

And this is what my gif looks like. I removed the sharpening from the right side of the image, and while it's not super obvious like this, I think you can see the difference best in Buck's eyes. The eye on our left has much more detail and depth, while the one on our right isn't as clear:

You can stop right here if you want to, if you're happy with the way your gif looks. However, my preference is always to soften the crisp edges just a little so it doesn't look over-sharp, and also give it some clarity, which is where that second layer comes in.

Select that top layer and un-hide it. Remember that there are no filters on this layer so far. Go to Filters > Blur > Gaussian Blur. Choose a radius of 0.4-0.7px, and click enter. The gif will look like this:

Next, change the opacity of this top layer to 20-25%. You should have your sharpened gif back, but it will look just a little softer and less harsh along the edges. You can change this opacity depending on your scene, so it's really like a slider you can control to go back and forth.

Your layers will look like this:

Then, one more optional step that I like to do is add a noise layer. This seems counter-intuitive, but when you have big blocks of color, the noise helps disperse them just a little bit.

Go to Filter > Noise > Add Noise. Use these settings:

Then, in your Layers pane, right-click where it says Add Noise, and in the menu, click Edit Smart Filter Blending Options. You should get this dialogue box, where you can change the opacity of that filter to 50%.

I know it kind of seems like "what's the point?" when this particular layer is already low-opacity, but it does make a difference (to me, at least) in some gifs where there's a lot of color/light, especially after you color the gif in!

Last tips:

Don't be afraid to play around with multiple settings until you find the one that works best for you.

Make. An. Action. I can't tell you how much actions save time when I'm working because then I don't have to remember every last detail. The first few times, just get in practice of doing it yourself, but after that, actions are amazing. Some people on tumblr have actions you can download and use, too.

Different scenes/lighting will result in different outcomes of your sharpening, so you might have to play around with it. Sometimes, I add an extra Smart Sharpen layer to that bottom layer to help clarify some of the details, and other times, I just change the existing settings to fit the scenes.

Sharpening tends to be a personal preference thing, so just play around with all the settings until you find one that works best for you.

I'm using photoshop cc 22.3.1 (2021)

TUTORIAL UNDER THE CUT ⤵️

In this tutorial I'm gonna show u how to create an illusion of high quality and film grain in your gifs just by using smart filters, coloring, and noise! This works on 720p, 480p, 360p, and 144p resolutions

1. So to start make the gif base

I am using a scene from qb vii in (a terrible) 360p

(I use the timeline version of making gifs sorry 😅)

2. Add 'unsharp mask' filter

filter -> sharpen -> unsharp mask...

Amount: between 50-110% (no higher than 110)

Radius: between 1.0-2.0 pixels

Threshold: 2 levels

3. Add 'smart sharpen' filters

filter -> sharpen -> smart sharpen...

I like to add 2 layers of smart sharpen with these settings. So overall you will have 3 layers of sharpening; unsharp mask, smart sharpen, smart sharpen 2. THIS IS OPTIONAL. Sometimes you won't need the second layer of smart sharpening but that's up to u (:

4. Add the 'add noise' filter

filter -> noise -> add noise...

the add noise filter helps soften out the hard pixels of the video and creates a film grain effect. play around with the amount to see what works best for you but I wouldn't go higher than 4%. AND GO BY DECIMALS! don't just use 1, 2, 3, 4. try out like 2.5% or 3.6%, etc. In the end i used 3.4% of noise for this gif

5. Color your gif

edit it and use any coloring u like! try to push the shadows and add more black in your 'selective color' adjustment layer just to give your gif more contrast (for an even sharper look)

6. Save!

once you're satisfied with how your gif looks, save for web and you're done! here are my save for web settings

End notes/tips!

obviously this trick won't work on every low quality movie

play around with the sharpening, noise, and color settings to find the best version for u!

the higher the quality (720p, 1080p dvd) the less noise you will need to add (1 to 2.5%)

gifs look even better if they are put into 2 column posts instead of a single column (268x instead of 540x)

the noise filter does mute the fine/sharp details of the gif so take it easy on the noise. only add in small increments!

and lastly - this is fake HD, it won't turn your 480p video into a crisp blu-ray 1080p quality. it just gives an illusion of higher quality (:

About the members and jwekwe bday photo, I have always wondered if Tae was telling the truth about that. If that was taken from their private trip or something, why is the photo so grainy. When we go on a trip, most of the time we use our phones to take photos, heck my phone which is not a high end one take better photo than that. Lol

And another ask about the TK private trip and resultant photo:

So my question may sound a little weird. So their priv trip happened and we got the pic. Well the pic looks like an interior space so maybe a room. There is mirror on the wall as well. What I am wondering who clicked the pic lol. Like the angle of their doesn't seem to be so yeah that's the question 😅

It’s so funny that this has come up again recently.  As far as doubting that the trip happened, I don’t really get that to be honest.

I know Tae tells little white lies sometimes, or just says random things, but he was scrolling through posts and saw that people were asking about it and, unprompted as far as the situation went in the live, answered the question of where the photo had come from.  The mood wasn’t remotely playful, and Jungkook wasn’t even there at the time to potentially play off of (like, for example, with the bit about the card trick at the Grammys).

So what would be the motive for making something up out of nowhere?  The photo exists, so clearly they were doing something lol.  It’s possible that it wasn’t just them on the trip, and there’s certainly more about it that we don’t know, but why think it didn’t happen?  If it didn’t, then where else did that wacky picture come from?

As for the photo quality, yeah it’s grainy as hell, and sure a phone camera would take a better quality picture -- but so would any other camera.  And again, the picture exists, so there must be some other reason for the quality to be low.  I’m guessing, due to the weird crop and the fact that we first saw an even more cropped version, that the real picture shows more of their bodies/outfits and they didn’t want to share that.  It could also have been partly caused by the photo being taken in low light and then brightened after the fact, but that’s just a guess.

I’m not really sure if I’m 100% sold on the second anon’s idea that there’s a mirror on the wall?  Idk, maybe I’m just not looking at the full version or something, but I do think they’re in a room.  Maybe there were other people with them, like I said, and maybe one of those people took the photo, but also they could just have set it up with a timer?  I’m sorry lol, this one doesn’t seem too mysterious to me.

Y’all know I love to pull out my Sherlock Holmes hat, but I kind of feel like Tae gave us the basics on this one.  Personally I don’t see any real reason to question it, it seems kind of straightforward, you know?

Hello there!! Congratulations on 1.9k followers!!!! 👏👏🎉🎉🎉 I'd like to request a Clone Wars ship (with a male character?) 🙏

I have dyed brown hair and black eyes, 5'3 with a petite body. For personality traits, I'm told that I can be rather stubborn and passionate, but I will only voice out my disagreement if it concerns a value I hold dear. I'm also mostly laid-back and chill, and I like sharing jokes/memes and having a good time with my friends. I can be rather emotional too and on days when I have a low mood I'm kind of irritable and would grumble lots. I care for my friends and if possible I'd put their needs before mine.

As for hobbies, I like drawing and illustrating, and I also like taking pictures of nature and cityscapes at night 😅 I'd also drown myself in music and shut out the world while I'm drawing or just doing chores. I also have an interest in badminton and volley but I absolutely suck at the latter sport.

I've never been in a relationship before because I'm really shy around men, but I do know that I want someone who I can be myself with. Someone who I can laugh and joke together with, generally someone who is humorous and likes to make me laugh. Someone who I can just be quiet together with and spend our quality time together in silence. I'd like someone who is more outgoing with me but not too outgoing because as an ambivert I only have so much "extroverted energy". I'd also like someone who is smarter and has more experience in life because I'm an indecisive dumbass 😓😓

There's not much of interest about me, but:

- I have good memorizing skills

Well, technically you can order the DVD on Amazon - which is what I did, and where all these low-quality gifs come from.

HOWEVER: If you're actually interested in understanding the story and don't happen to be a native speaker of German (which I am, so I guess I lucked out in this case), that may be a bit of a waste of time and money for you, because the whole thing is German-language only. There are no subtitles and no other languages available, which sadly means we don't get to hear Jeremy growl to his heart's content. (He looks very handsome, though ... 😏)

From what I've gathered, I also believe that this German-dubbed version may unfortunately be the only version of the film that ever saw the light of day (I think it was broadcast on Arte about ten years ago), so there is probably little hope of finding the English original somewhere on the internet. I seem to remember having read that they had trouble financing the film and finding a distributor - so basically the old Lolita problem. Sigh.

Anyway, sorry for the rant 😅 But I hope this clarifies some things for you. Have a hug :)

Im a 95’ liner, Sagittarius and INFP, people that already know me think I’m an extrovert, but I have to be comfortable... I’m terrible at starting conversations, but once the other person has taken initiative I can go on for hours! I like people that make me laugh but that can also hold meaningful conversations

I graduated in graphic design, tho I don’t think I’m *that* good so I don’t call myself a professional, and my hobby is singing, I’m always at least humming something and it’s a real challenge to not sing along to every song I know haha (I don’t like to perform tho, if people ask me to sing and start to watch me I freeze). He would be so in awe that you are fluent in three languages! He strikes me as someone who loves learning and improving himself. I can totally see him asking you to help him learn the languages you speak. He would practice without you so that he can surprise you with new phrases and make you proud of his hard work. He would for sure learn phrases like “you’re so cute” or “your smile is beautiful” so he can catch you off guard and make you blush. Oh, and if you ever wanted help to learn Korean, he would be more than happy to be your teacher.

I'm a 94 liner, pansexual. My friends would say I'm between a bro girl and a tomboy.
