#i’m stealing someone else’s id instead of robing that post because i need to say. prev i would watch that so much oh my GOD i can see it #also i’ve been thinking about this since i saw it first and i CANNOT figure out an answer.#rdr2 is fairly cinematic and already references the cowboy film genre but i have such an attachment to the open world #and the side experience in that game that i’d hate to let them go (the choice system wouldn’t lose much imo it’s pretty minimal. But still)#i love firewatch and it would make a gorgeous movie but something about it just wouldn’t translate idk. you have to be a part of it yk??#prey 2017 is a good candidate i think #you also wouldn’t lose much w out the choice system and using cinematography to emphasize that sort of reality/illusion theme would be fun #but also. i could make a d1 vanilla plotline movie work. i know that game is incomprehensible but just trust me.#i’m taking the fps out of the fps game and mostly focusing on environment/worldbuilding and making it more a western #im pulling in the later garden doppelgängers and having the last scene be stalkeresque conversation w yourself about the nature of light #im doing sweeping wide shots of mars. Treut me man.#i could also do beyond light bc eramis as a dramatic antagonist w grey morality instead of a boss monster would be. ooo it would be so good #sorry for the long asstags. i love video games yum
