Also, children at school were not taught how to summon a patronus, so I think that it was Severus who could have taught him as an adult. And it would be a very awkward (but sweet) scene when his patronus turns out to be a cat. It's not as poetic as Severus and Lily's, because there was no third doe. but i still think it's cute.

After a hard day you feel terrible. You had to work all day, endure irresponsible colleagues and a terrible boss. You feel your legs hurt, your arms can barely hold the heavy bags after shopping, and your brain is begging you to sleep. You start fiddling with the keys in your hands, muttering under your breath about how much you hate this damn job, and then open the door. You flinched slightly at the harsh bright light in the house after the dark street, rubbing your eyes and yawning.

“Ichi, I’m home..” you mumbled. 

While you were taking off your shoes, out of the corner of your eye you noticed Ichimatsu coming out of the kitchen. he looked just as sleepy, but greeted you with a soft smile. he helped you undress, pushing your shoes to the side and hanging your jacket on the hanger. noticing that you were in a bad state, he let out a quiet chuckle, coming up behind you and wrapping his arms around your waist, resting his chin on your shoulder. he was used to this state of yours, and already knew what to do in such a situation. You sigh and place your hand on his head, stroking it as he talks to you in an almost purring tone. 

“You did well. I'm proud of you." 

he pecked the top of your head, moving to your cheeks and then your neck. You forced a smile, gently running your hand through his shaggy hair. 

“I want to sleep.. I want to sleep and never go to this fucking job again..” 

You mumbled, clinging to your husband’s body. He silently took your hand, leading you to the bedroom to relax you and sleep together like you usually do in the evenings. He laid you down on the bed, giving you a soft kiss to your forehead as he rested your head on the pillow.

 “but I need to cook dinner..”

when Ichimatsu replied 

“I’ll make it.” 

You tried to object, but Ichimatsu kissed you again, leaving no chance.

you sighed, smiling softly. Ichimatsu climbed onto the bed, lying behind you. As you settled more comfortably on the bed, his arms pressed you against him. You felt his warm breath and soft lips on your head, while with his free hand he ran his fingers through your hair. when you were already falling asleep, you heard the quiet voice of Ichimatsu.

Roy has gotten food poisoning from his dorm meal plan at least once (based on at least one true story)

The heap trio + Mandy would be those friends constantly playing majong in the dorm lounge and if all the majong tables are taken they just play in one of their dorm rooms on a towel to dampen the tile shuffling noises (it was Mandy's idea)

Every morning Dani goes to the drinks stall at her faculty and orders one iced coffee to the point where the stall owner starts preparing an iced coffee whenever they see her approach (based on my true story)

Roy would be one of those people who goes clubbing every other week and every time he tries to drag the rest of the heap trio and Egan almost always goes and Dani would go if she didn't have a good excuse but always begrudgingly. anyway Roy would always be the only one having a good time until Egan gets drunk enough to start having fun

Finbar actually uses the dorm kitchens instead of just buying canteen food and it always makes the hallways smell really good

MR-SN and AS-TR start a stargazing club together. other notable members include AS-TR's girlfriend E-DN, MR-SN's friend C-RA (the one who always volunteers to carry the heavy ass telescopes) and MR-SN's friend K-LB who he pestered into coming to fix one of the wonky scopes even though K-LB's actually in electrical engineering but he's the only engineering person MR-SN (an arts student) knows

oh and of course VR-LA joins because he genuinely just likes space (developing a crush on his club chairperson was not on his bingo card)

Kyana and E-DN were MMA sparring buddies at one point which is how she found out about the stargazing and joined immediately

Idk!!!!! Its hard to decide. I think wally will be epic when DE release future updates with more of them, but now they are kinda not enough "there" for me. Like they didnt hurt me personally. But i totally would understand if most people would pick them as their favourite. Oh and their reveal in end of new war was very very cool sound and visual design wise

Also i like hunhow alot because he have cool design and idea of this colossal elien thing being most human and caring of all big 3 is funi and cute. and i like sentients alot. But story wise he is just forgotten unfortunately

I choose ballas because he is most consistent in quests and he have perfect balance between being just an regular asshole overlord with smug and just a fucking looser who got his girlfriend stoled that makes him interesting. He works good as warframe poster villain (if thats a term). Also secrifice is my favotire quest and tragedy of warframes is most interesting theme to me in all wf universe so ballas hurt me alot on personal level:]

long answer all spoilers

i'm the type of person who considers something "good" if i think it's moving and it definitely helped that you could hear the jazz in the movie adaptation -- like.

you get this really crappy rendition of first note at the beginning of the movie, it sounds unpolished (by design ofc), tamada is fighting for his life but even dai and yukinori are still kind of grappling with each other -- this doesn't make it bad and it does have its charms (the composition itself is very nice; s/o to first note which is one of my most played songs of 2023 according to my spotify wrapped LMAOOO--) but when you compare it to the last rendition of first note it's LIKE ?!?!??!

after yukinori returns from the hospital and is only able to play the piano using his left hand -- which of course calls back to his first encounter to Dai, who saw him performing using only his left hand

i thought it was crazy

i also thought that them having the disbandment conversation directly before the performance - which would be their first and last as a trio at So Blue - elevated the emotional weight of the scene to levels that i thought was kind of mean 😭

like i'd read the manga so i was anticipating the accident and the disbandment but when that bit was altered for the movie i was like UM!??!?!!

really good and i like that it felt like a true end to JASS as a trio and also tamada's tears before the performance had me like AUAUAUGUGHVHHGG---!!!

... that being said i do think the original manga ending is emotional in its own way too

in the movie, yukinori still suggests disbandment because dai still wants to continue on with his aspirations as a saxophonist and there's no guarantee that his hand will heal up the way it's supposed to -- they're also both aware that jazz bands don't stay together all the time, it's the nature of the genre and goes hand in hand with the 'in the moment' nature of jazz

that part isn't different but what is different is that tamada chooses to stop playing the drums on his own -- he's already noted that he'll never be able to play on the level of dai or yukinori, he's satisfied to retire; during his last performance with dai, he likely realized that dai was only going to get better and better and he was there during the conversation with yukinori wherein yuki explains that he can't and refuses to stop dai's momentum, and tamada likely draws the same conclusion

that being said, the fact that JASS was unable to perform as a trio upon a stage that they aspired towards is tragic in itself

unlike in the movie, they don't end off together, and dai's bandmates essentially walk away from him

furthermore you get to see dai's reaction to their disbandment, and it's one of the rare instances where he's upset - his own aspirations have separated him from two people he cares about, who have been with him from the beginning

it's like ??!?!?!? idk ishizuka is nuts for that

i think the movie ending suits the film adaptation given the fact that performances are animated and able to be heard (that piano solo in first note still makes me tear up HAHA,,) while also lending the film to a more standalone feel -- i think given the performances that the film would have felt incomplete if they hadn't ended together

but the manga ending is also good as it is because it lends itself to the fact that blue giant has sequel manga, dai's journey isn't over, and he's set to keep going!!
