hope I'm not annoying constantly posting about it~~ anxiety says yes its a nostalgic game and I'm having a lot of fun playing it in over a decade~~~ anxiety can shut it and quit ruining my fun~~

I like to think that like how in @phoenixcatch7's Doll au there's gas versions of like cures and such in the batfam's gas masks since they don't need to breath when possessing the puppets right? I like to think there's an organic version of that with the meat puppet bodies, at least with Bruce, where the plates on his neck opens up into vents of sorts, pictured here with a few spikes removed for visibility reasons.

This gas could be some cures for like Joker venom & Fear gas and such, or it could also be sedatives, paralytics, could even vary between each member. (For example in the Cryptidverse Steph has Anesthetics on her claws, Jason has reflective powder that mimics embers/sparks, Cass has paralytics, etc). Honestly I am just brainstorming so this could definitely change lmao

I do like to think they start developing their own venom though, gotta' have those fangs & tusks for some reason lol

I don't know why I did this, but here's an oversimplified chart mapping some of the anime I've watched and how I found them. And basically, a lot of the anime I've ended up watching can somehow be traced back to Buddy Daddies (which is about on par for this blog).

Several anime are missing from this chart, but I didn't feel a strong need to include them since I typically enjoyed the show, but wouldn't consider myself a fan.

Apologies for the image's poor quality. I don't know what happened when I downloaded it. I'll try to describe the chart below under a "Keep Reading" tab (and maybe add a little more commentary). Anyways, if you have questions, recommendations, or wanna comment on any of my choices, feel free to!

Top right corner: Spy x Family marks the first anime my friend got me into and what launched this new interest? obsession?

Spy x Family connects to Buddy Daddies, which I found through Tumblr since people kept making comparisons between the two.

Buddy Daddies leads into a whole lotta other shows.

Biggest one is probably Trigun Stampede (and Trigun 98, which I watched after finishing Stampede). They're connected because they share VAs/Seiyuus (in both sub and dub) and have the same dynamic of golden retriever boyfriend and grumpy black cat.

A different friend first recommended Banana Fish to me, but this blonde hair/black hair dynamic that appeared in Buddy Daddies and Trigun also lead me to Banana Fish.

In terms of same Seiyuus, that is the main reason I ended up watching Yuri on Ice! and Horimiya.

I connected Buddy Daddies to SK8 the Infinity because of Tumblr recommendations, but this one's honestly a little fuzzy. I definitely learned about SK8 through Tumblr, but it could be more because of Yuri on Ice! and both shows being kinda really fruity sports animes. Matchablossom might've also been thrown in some fandom ship posts with Vashwood that I came across.

Horimiya was my entry point into the more slice of life, romance anime genre. It definitely was nice to not have to worry about big, life-altering stakes constantly looming over the protagonists, so that could be why I've been watching more anime that fall under this category.

Here you have My New Boss is Goofy, Mr. Villain's Day Off, and Cherry Magic. In a way, you could connect SK8 the Infinity to Cherry Magic because of shared VAs/Seiyuus, but I technically watched Cherry Magic before knowing who the voice actors for sub/dub were (that just became a bonus on rewatches).

And finally, yes, Buddy Daddies led me to Oshi No Ko, simply because Ayase performed the opening for Buddy Daddies, which led me to find Idol by YOASOBI. From there the plot just really grabbed my attention and after a lot recommending from my friend, I finally watched it.

In this section of I heard about it and gave it a chance after a friend strongly recommended it is Chainsaw Man, Oshi No Ko, and most recently, Apothecary Diaries.

i think it’s funny that death is, technically speaking, the only other person “present” with lucheni as he tells the story.  everyone else is just a shadow, an illustration that lucheni is painting.  but death is there, too.  he shows up in the prologue.  but he’s silent, he doesn’t offer commentary (aside from his solo in the opening number) and just plays his role.  and i think that’s very funny of him.

luigi’s undoubtedly an unreliable narrator but death does NOT speak up to confirm or deny ANYTHING lucheni’s saying.  either death’s had to do this song and dance a few time before an is INCREDIBLY bored with it and doesn’t feel like putting in more effort than he has to, or he’s bored and playing along for the lolz and just nodding his head in agreement.  lucheni could say ‘and then elisabeth fought attila the hun’ and death would just be like ‘yep. that happened.  what do you mean he died 1400 years prior.  he was there i saw him.’

After a while of silence, I can finally share what I was working on!

I've been wanting to do a "times of the day" piece like this for ages, always been very intimidated by the idea, but I'm glad I finally got the balls to do it. This was incredibly fun and has me craving more pieces where I experiment with color a little or put characters in real scenes.

Feels good I feel like I'm really proving I'm getting better at this whole art thing.

I wrote all that stuff yesterday about being lonely and coping and then proceeded to get into an argument with my father over text in which he said I didn’t deserve his or my stepmom’s love & attention bc of something I can’t even remember that happened when I was severely mentally ill like 8 years ago so I’m like. Well. Emotionally crushed. Happy birthday to Rose tomorrow I guess

preview of the next chapter for the addisons sitcom and i'm irritated because I forgot what I was originally going to write before my brain glitched up due to the chemicals going haywire which happens every month causing short-term memory, anger, depression, and other problems.

Morning arrived, Yellow had mistaken Pink in his Santa suit for a soft pillow and unconsciously cuddled up nuzzling Pink’s face. Pink was stirred awake noticing someone was coiled around him. He became horrified upon seeing Yellow breathing over his face and started screaming. “DID YOU KISS ME WHILE I WAS ASLEEP, PISS MAN?!! AAAAAAAHH!!!”

Orange woke up to see Yellow cuddling ‘Santa Claus’ and screamed as well.

The screaming woke Yellow. He was confused at first until he gained his senses realizing he was cuddling Pink to which he started screaming and immediately let go backing away. “AAAAHH!!!! WHAT?! NO! I WASN’T KISSING YOU! AAAAHH!!!!”

The screaming startled Blue causing him to wake up screaming. Spamton awoke and joined in. “[[A]]!”

Everybody was screaming. The screaming lasted for 15 minutes until everyone was out of breath.

“YOU KISSED ME?!!” Screamed Pink. “YOU VILE PISS MAN, YOU KISSED ME?!! HOW DARE YOU!!!!”

“NOO, NO NO NO NO!” Responded a hysterical Yellow. “I would never! You taste like rotten cotton candy anyways!”

Pink seethed with rage glaring daggers at him.

Orange grinned and sang, “Yellow has a crush on Santa Claus!”

“ORANGE, NO!”

“Yellow kissed Santa Claus!!”

“NO! ORANGE! YOU ARE BANNED— “

“Yellow and Santa! Sitting on a tree! K-I-S-S-I-N-G!”

Yellow broke and died internally as he muttered. “Almighty Toby Fox, please strike me down right now.”

Meanwhile in the Toby Fox realm.Toby Fox was napping then woke and rose his head in confusion. “Huh, what?” He resumed napping.
