I don't want to be obligated to entertain and take care of everyone I already watch out for and clean up after on a day they all claim to be about me. When it's actually a parade of all the things they wanna thank me for doing for them without any accountability to return the favor and listen to what I may want or need.

Things I want for my birthday and rarely get:

- Sleep (I left my job at 2am and have to be back at 7pm what do you mean you're waking me up at 7am to go on whatever you've got planned to drag me around all these places you didn't even propperly research before dragging me to)

- Food (that I actually like or am capable of eating due to my texture issues and whatevers going on with my health that week)

- Gifts I like and can use (I have been given no shortage of 3 things I had put on the STRIKTLY NEVER list and have arranged to buy for myself most of the things I will use)

- Safe Physical Contact (We've talked about cuddling but never do and we even had a 45 minute conversation with my mom on kids that didn't get enough hugs as a kid but the moment I initiate something it's no longer about me and becomes a big spectacle).

Remember that post outlining that if your kid has social anxiety and doesn't feel safe in their own living-room how unhelpful and dehumanizing it can feel to be greeted with "so you are alive" or "so now we're good enought to hang out with" and all these other supposedly 'well meaning teasing'?

Well, maybe, if my 28 birthdays were all miserable experiences not actually about me but about everything everyone wants from me then I may not wanna be a part of the one coming up next year.

I can’t take criticism on Mel seriously because most of it is done by jayviks who say she’s pretty and call it a day then act like they love her😭. Like sorry, I’m not taking you seriously when your account is filled with only jayvik and you only talk about Mel to objectify her and seem like you don’t hate “the female character that gets in the way” that’s simply not enough. You guys literally call her an “independent black woman who doesn’t need a man” except in different wording to make her seem unlovable. Yes, she doesn’t need a man but she WANTS a man. Stop acting like you actually want her to be independent, you just want to get her out of the way but also still seem like you’re an “”ally””.

I wish some aces would stop excluding other aces with complex sexual experiences. like I get why but you have to realize that being ace does not mean they don't enjoy sexual experiences and it's weird when you complain about allo people and boil it down to "people who have sexual experiences" and also shame people for their sex life and kinks as if your own community doesnt INCLUDE those people. because there are other aces out there who still masturbate, who feel sexually attracted to their own body, who barely experiences sexual attraction but still enjoys sex, who like consuming sexual media, who like sfw kink. being ace is so so much more complex than just "disliking sex". and also aromantic exclusionism in the same genre of posts is something i see a lot. especially aro allos. not necessarily forever, not even for long, but just stop putting your art on here and start doing it for you again, remember why you enjoyed doing art in the first place and stop relying on the attention of faceless people on the internet for your enjoyment of your hard work

believe me, I get it, nothing crushes the artistic soul quite like labouring for hours on a piece only for it to get like 10 notes, so you need to find your own source of joy in the act of creation and a lot of the time that means making art and not showing it to anybody

We actually travel to those places often. What about the many Asian languages and dialects used around us, then? Oh, I don't know! what about our national sign language so we don't have kids segregated and put into "special" classes so they have the ability to communicate with one or two others? Would help those with hearing difficulties, autism, mutism, and you know, deafness?

idk man. i just think itd be really cool if sign language classes were mandatory throughout primary school. yeah because it would make communication with deaf kids and autistic/nonverbal kids much easier. and those kids would be accessible to the others so they could make friends and have healthy relationships. yeah. and kids would eat that shit up man. like their own little secret language? they love that.

I've said it before but I really really really need everyone in the disco elysium fandom to like. look at themselves for a moment and make sure they're not being insanely ridiculously dehumanizing to addicts because I see it way too often. I cleaned (half) of my room today, of which I've been wanting to do for 3 months now.

My head is splitting. My legs are unsupportive and painful. Blood circulation is shit. I'm shaking. My incontinence is something else. I've run out of tears as crying hurts. And my breathing is sluggish.

Yet I didn't clean the other half. I haven't made my bed. My partner had to help. He interfered to the point I was sent to bed.

Outsiders call this lazy. It would have taken my partner 2 hours to do the entire thing himself. Yet in over double that time I've only just started on a room.

Why can't I get a job? ^ this is why. I'd do one day and I wouldn't be able to work again for a month or two. I've had to book a 3 day trip to drive my family 1 and a half hours away. Most people commute that daily.

I don't want to be lazy. I'd be a lot happier if I could just want to be lazy.

I'm so sick and tired of people thinking that disabled people are lazy. Like, I want to do the chores around the house, I want to go out with friends, I want a job. My body literally just will not let me. Having a job would probably kill me.

It's not fun hanging around on the couch or in bed all day, knowing there are things you want to do but can't.

Stop calling us lazy.

That viral post that's going around about how people who write "book quality" mlm fic are too "normal" to publish and have real jobs so only "weird" people publish their "shitty" fanfic is so completely out of touch with reality and I am giving a massive side eye to everyone reblogging it.

Not only is it completely, easily verifiably untrue (you cannot enter any professional writing space without tripping over a dozen grizzled scifi writers who got their start by filing off the serial numbers and publishing their Star Trek fanfic even going back decades ago??? it's a whole thing?? plus how can you look at the mlm category on Amazon right now and say with a straight face that people aren't publishing shitty Spirk and Stucky fanfic??? Oh, honey...) it's also the perfect example of this kind of sneering elitism that true artists would never sully themselves by seeking profit, they do it only for the purity of the thing that always somehow leads back to, "no one should be paid to make art, actually."

The only reason you're seeing more published fanfic right now has nothing to do with the idealistic purity of your hypothetical government employee written smut of the past vs the debased scribbles of those awful straights of today and everything to do with the fact that a) self-publishing has created a voracious readership that wants a ton of content so it's become a viable, flexible income stream for many, especially disabled people b) anyone can publish now with self-publishing tools so there are less gatekeepers and c) lockdown got a lot of people into fandom and therefore writing who never tried it before.

And if you really think there's no "shitty" published mlm and no "book-quality" m/f writing out there that started as fanfic, then you are clearly not a reader so why are you even talking about this?

My husband and I tried to start a game with some coworkers of mine and it was fucking awful.

The DM had never played D&D before but insisted that she run the games.

The other guy in the campaign literally ran the whole game. The DM would say “y’all arrived safely at the inn” and he’d whine “but it would have been so fun to have to fight something on the road like a giant toad or a forest nymph or a dragon or or or or or” until she gave in and just did what he wanted.

She had this character that she had crafted and had a special voice for that we were fighting. She used a Lego man to represent them on the map because she didn’t have a mini for it.

Other guy steamrolled her and said “wouldn’t it be funny if it was actually a giant Lego man in the game and he had this voice instead (insert boring bullshit)” and kept at it and kept at it until she gave in.

We would try and stand up for the DM, but we can’t get a word in. We were there for 6 hours once and combined my husband and I and were only able to speak for maybe 5 minutes if it.

Other guy even tries to tell us what we need to do on our turns. Every turn.

We only played 3 games together before husband and I escaped and decided to never go back. It would be genuinely hard to beat that level of player bullshit again.

TLDR

Okay I cannot believe I'm about to go off like this, but this has been bothering me for awhile, and it's only making me more spiteful. I have been enjoying the influx of Billford art lately. Amazing, great wonderful. What I have Not been enjoying, is the absolute vitriol the Billdip fans have been getting since the influx of TBOB. I was a billdip shipper for awhile. Hell I was a billdip shipper when I was a Parapines shipper-- I liked shipping Dipper with boys. I was also like 14 or 15 at the time. Obviously, if you follow me now, you'll probably notice what my main ship for Dipper is. I grew out of Billdip, and moved on to Pinescone. I have been shipping Pinescone for 10 years. However, not once did I go around saying "Lol, glad I matured and became a better person and shipped something healthier", nor did I post in the billdip tag, condeming people for a fictional ship! And saying mine was better because it was less problematic.

"I'm really glad people stopped shipping Bill and Dipper together. Bill is a 1000 year old triangle demon, and Dipper is 13--" Stop. Repeat what you just said.

Repeat that last word to me. "....triangle?" TRIANGLE! I'm sorry what?! This ship is already completely wild enough. You're getting mad at this fictional age gap-- AND BILL IS A FUCKING SHAPE! A FUCKING SHAPE! This ship was weird from the moment GO! And Billford isn't any better. IT'S STILL A SHIP WITH A FUCKING SHAPE! And you're going to sit on your high horse and look down on the Billdip community. On top of it-- they have an age gap too! Bill is still thousands of years old or whatever-- however long it's been, who knows? And Ford was in his 20s or so when he met Bill. That's still a huge, ridiculous age gap-- that Bill could easily use and manipulate; which he did....and then also caught feelings and became a sad ex, but that's beside the point~ Both of these ships are still insane. And again, the bigger thing I think people are just ignoring about these ships--is that Bill is a TRIANGLE! THREE LINES CONNECTED TOGETHER! And this is the hill you're going to die on? ...Cause apparently it's mine. First of all-- as many people pointed out-- Ford Pines did not exist until the second half of the final season. People couldn't ship Fordbill because there wasn't any Ford to introduce.

"Well, even before Ford, I never shipped Billdip! I always disliked it." ...Okay, that's totally fine. Not everyone needs to like or agree on the same ship. Lord knows there's probably people who don't really care for Pinescone either. There's a lot of popular ships that I can't stand. But I'm don't go into a ship tag I don't like, screaming to a void for self validation. I don't go around mocking other people for ships that they had in 2014-- or even still today! It doesn't matter! I did that when I was a kid-- and then realized that was rude, and it was better to just ignore the ships I didn't like and enjoy the ones that made me happy. And grow a community of kind, like minded friends. And listen, I am all for safe spaces and being able to block things that make you uncomfortable. I am not saying people who find the BillDip ship uncomfortable to be idiots or babies or overly sensitive-- or anything like that. I think if something makes you uncomfortable, that is okay and I think it's perfectly fine to blacklist a tag that you don't want to see. I also think it's imperative that people tag things as accurately as they can so people looking at your work can know if one of your pieces has a thing that they don't like-- and therefore can avoid. What I don't appreciate is the fanhate for this ship that is sprouting up like weeds. You can not like something, you can be disgusted by it (I have my Gravity Falls ships I can not stand, nor do I feel comfortable with), but attacking real people for a FICTIONAL SHIP-- two characters who are drawings on a piece of paper and can not be affected mentally, physically or emotionally by fanwork; who still retain the same shape after everything we put them through-- to the point that you send death threats, or threaten to Doxx, or just harass relentlessly, I have always found that more childish and disgusting. You are causing real world pain to people. Me fucking up Dipper Pines is not going to do anything to him-- because he doesn't actually exist. He's a cartoon character. I could squash him and stretch him in Wonka's taffy machine--- I could throw him mock speed at a wall and watch him explode on impact-- but he still exists. He's not dead; I can pick him up and dust him off, and If I wanted-- I could decide that eh, 'Not a scratch on him'. And I'd be right. Because he is a cartoon character, and I am just a fangirl. I can not change anything about him-- I have no ability to make anything I headcanon canon. And even if I was the original artist-- it doesn't change the fact that Dipper would still be nothing more than a creation. A construct of shapes; he can not be hurt or traumatized in a way that leads to real life consequences-- because he is not real. I am not a cartoon character. My friends are not cartoon characters. Artist and Writers who stay in their lane...are not cartoon characters. If you hurt us...it will linger. It will leave a scar. If you can not tell the difference between Fiction and Reality, then I think maybe media might be too much to handle-- and I think you need to really reevaluate yourself.

And just to vent some other things that i keep seeing that are frustrating: You can't claim the twins are only 13-- and then on August 31st go "Happy 20-something Birthday Mabel and Dipper!" And then proceed to drop a picture of them as adults. Well which is it? Do they age or not? Because Gravity Falls showed them canonically aging. If you think the twins age-- then you can't suddenly turn around and go, 'no you can't ship them-- Dipper is a child!' but you drew him as an adult. So sorry, it looks like you can't draw the twins grown up anymore. You claimed they're 13, so better draw them 13 forever--. Aged up stories and works exist for a reason, especially for a fan who grew up on the series. The characters might have grown up alongside them. It's not unlikely for a person to ship Billdip when Dipper is much older.

And on that note, for people who are like 'well older billdip is fine-- it's just people shipping him during the show that deserve to die.' Okay... and like I said, this rant is coming from a recent influx of Billford shippers spitting on Billdip shippers. You know? The TOXIC Old Man Yaoi!

You're still shipping something that is problematic. You are still shipping something twisted and wrong. And I am not judging you. I am here for this divorced arc. I am thriving. But you can't just pick and choose what is and isn't okay. And let me first off explain; if there is something that personally triggers you about a toxic ship, and you want to avoid that-- again, perfectly understandable. Perfectly reasonable. You are the makers of your content space. And I am not judging anyone for that. I want people to be safe. I want people to have a good time in fandom spaces. I want people to not have to deal with the things that upset them or frighten them, or disgust them. But you can not say one is fine, and one is not. They're both bad! They're both toxic. In real life, these ships would both be charged with serious crimes! And yes, there are some crimes that are worse than others, and if you asked me what I thought was more problematic-- I'd say Billdip-- but both of these ships are extreme, and severe in their problematic content. You are still consuming problematic content. If it's a personal thing, that's fine; avoid it. But don't sit there throwing stones from your glass house.

My guess on the Celestial Realm doing this when in the OG Obey Me wasn't mentioned is because of Nightbringer's involvement this time around.

Michael seems to be against Nightbringer and everything they stand for to the point he threatened MC.

And what is one of Nightbringer's plans? For MC to make pacts with the demon bros. Michael can't put his faith in MC not to anything so he decided to target something else that would ruin Nightbringer's plan, and that something is the demon bros. MC can't make pacts with them if they are all the way back in the Celestial Realm, under his watch.

But he also can't just say 'oh yeah, we are taking the traitors back because they are part of the plan of an unknown person you may not even know about'. Instead he came with the whole 'forgiving the traitors and welcoming them back in'. And if theh are willing to go to war AGAIN over this then that means Nightbringer is someone to be taken seriously.

So yeah, this whole thing is just an excuse to ruin Nightbringer's plans.

This whole thing also explains Solomon's weird behaviour about choosing sides in the case of a war. Solomon seems to have some relation to Nightbringer. He for sure knows that the Celestial Realm is against them and is willing to go to war. This is why he started to make even more preparations than he did in the present, he knows shit is about to go down but he can't tell anyone.

Now I am really curious to see WHO Nightbringer really is. Enemy of Michael and is in good relations with Solomon? Also I wonder what are his motives and why he needs the MC to make pacts with the demon bros

Also the residents of your previous home killed your little sister and you gained two new family members in your new home

But then just one year later your previous home sends a text like "actually lol you're all forgiven, forget the whole dead sister thing and abandon the two new family members you got, you can come back home now! Isn't that great! No it's definitely not because we realised you're a force to be reckoned with and in case of a war we don't want you on the enemies side! We just miss you! Aren't you happy! Also solomon being hungover during the whole thing was probably the funniest part. The man's worst nightmares seem to be on the verge of coming true and he's barely standing up straight, because he got so used to MC's presence after just a few weeks/months of living together vs years of them living with the brothers, that one day without them meant he needed to go get blackout drunk (yes yes ik it probably brought up all his childhood trauma about being locked inside a basement alone and whatever happened to his first friend but the man couldn't have picked a worse time to have a crisis)
