ok full disclosure i already had this post drafted before realizing that mira’s birthday was coming up. i kinda debated just posting the mira doodles on their own but!!! i want to talk about my craft/general color headcanons still. and the mira art is part of that!! so be warned. also, this is going to reference my post about my craft headcanons a lot so like. read that if you so desire.

i personally think that mira’s healing craft is some form of creative craft, since the game describes her holding her palms up when she uses it (iirc anyways). this doesn’t really have an effect on anything, but it’s why i decided to color it yellow!

(also i ended up making mira’s scissors craft a lot more orange than i initially planned but that’s ok!!! i think both of her crafts would be pretty Orange. just thought i’d mention that since it’s a bit different from my first post)

i already explained sif’s craft in my last post so now i get to talk about the change god!!!!!! this is like. probably the most out there in terms of my color headcanons? but i have a reason for that. since the change god is, well, a deity, i thought it would be fitting for their design to match the colors of the 3 craft types (red, blue, and yellow)! this was a little hard to work around given that i also try to give my vaugarde designs warmer color palettes, but i think it worked out!

i also gave them a few slightly different palettes, since i think it’ll make sense for the change god’s colors to be variable. they never look the same, so why would their palette look the same? + i’m indecisive and liked all of these palettes lol

Thinking about all the different ways the Batfam + Clark might have tried to keep Bruce from sneaking out to do Batman Stuff™️ after Bane broke his back. Like, Jason and Damien (timeline who?) Home-Alone-ing-the-mansion-in-a-slightly-less-lethal-way type shenanigans.

For some reason I'm imagining Leslie strictly limiting Bruce to "low impact" movement as he's healing, which, after some failed attempts at sneaking out/higher impact stuff, ends with getting yelled at by Alfred and (somehow?) Jason doing yoga/meditation with Bruce down in the Cave just to get this man to do something and stop driving everyone crazy.

And it works. They're kinda snippy but it peters out. Bruce winces and moves through the forms/holds with some difficulty, and Jason is sore right alongside him from a brutal patrol the night before so it all works out. They don't have to talk, but they hold each other's company.

I agree but it's a slippery slope to "i as an individual have no accountability ever period", which i also not great. We should definitely not feel shame and existential dread for every life choice, just be informed and try to make the right decision when we can.

It's the effort / benefit ratio, right? Not owning a car is both easy for me and good for the environment, so I continue not buying one. When I'm not sure if I want a coke or not, I consider that plastic bottle lingering around for half a millennia. Sometimes I really want it so i buy it, but having the awareness in the back of my mind (while not letting it control me!) is good, I think.

This ratio is different for different people, so it's not a single one thing the entire population needs to change, it's just that the entire population needs to be aware.

also like, I hate to say this, but most climate solutions that involve "every person changes their behavior immediately" aren't going to work

humans are notoriously difficult to control. this is why fascism never can work, because it relies on control. similarly, trying to get every person on the planet on board with a particular course of action just doesn't happen, because humans are diverse (a good thing!) and do things for lots of different reasons

the CFC ban worked because it just applied to companies using the chemicals, most ordinary folk weren't interacting with it directly.

but you'll note that eco friendly cars are more accessible than ever and lots of people... still drive gas guzzlers. oftentimes, not by choice

the reasons we focus on CEOs and people with large amounts of power in the fight against climate change (rather than every individual person) is because

they're causing most of it

fewer people that we have to force to change

it's just more practical and effective

any ideology or philosophy that involves "getting every human being to agree to do/think X" isn't going to work because we are a stiff-necked species and most of us don't have a lot of choices thanks to capitalism to begin with

so, yeah. kill the fascist in your head. stop thinking you can shame or control everyone into doing what you want. It's not going to happen.
