I'm really loving Earth's growth! Lunar did messed up stuff but he's finally growing up maybe?

Spoilers to where I'm at for the Lunar and Earth show below!

I have a comic idea for tsams should I do one?

I just want to rant about the shows and why I like Sun in them 😂 + more observations and theories.

Warning vague spoilers for tsams laws and fams (I think it's eaps now?)

I'm to the point Earth was threatened by the Creator and Lunar killed Eclipse and Gemini had to leave, Solar tried to intervene and have them conversate but it blew up on him.

I really like the progression of things. Every time I'm on the fence or in doubt of what's going to happen next I'm blown out of the water. I think I'm enjoying Earth's growth the most. Lunar is regressing but it makes sense for him because he tends to literally run from every problem. Again, it's hard to change and I can actually see that Lunar is ready to grow up and change for the better so I'm excited to see how that goes.

I was at first mad at Moon but I'm convinced there's more nuance. Now I forgive pookie.

Guys Sun, he's just so great. Like... Now that I'm getting caught up again I'm realizing just how much he deals with and I'm not talking about the ✨trauma✨ but just the day to day. Like LAES definitely helped bridge the gap of what goes in the daily lives for the family.

First of all, people like Sun's daycare. (let's be honest it's always been HIS daycare) He's so good at what he does. People bring their actual eldritch abominations, literal hell spawns, and freaks of nature in to be watched by him. The kids of the daycare at this point can't even be considered human. Think about it, the actual Devil from the Bible brings his hellspawn kid in to be watched (I think it's funny he's implied to be rude to Sun, besties with Moon, and nice to Earth). There was an episode dedicated to the possibility of Sun in sheer popularity and merch sales alone could replace Glamrock Freddy (the only reason he didn't take the offer had to do with being uncomfortable on stage!). Plus, most problem-kids end up liking him. Example being Barry and FC (I count Gregory's ghost friends too).

We all know he was built to be a daycare attendant but the Creator literally said "I didn't install any information on that in you because I wanted you to learn it." Sun taught himself all his child care skills and figured it out (while dealing with 5 years of the added stress of Old Moon doing his thangy thang). Childcare is so stressful, I've worked all kinds of jobs and childcare is absolutely one of the hardest I've done.

Childcare is one of the most physically and emotionally demanding jobs and no two methods work on the same kid. You have to be highly adaptive and patient.

One of the biggest things I've noticed is that in the show when kids start being bad instead of telling them "No" or getting frustrated (Earth and Lunar both do this to a degree) Sun knows to redirect them. He redirected Barry as much as he could (it was funny when Barry kept stabbing funtime Freddy). I think he's also the biggest help to Foxy with FC (except Monty and Puppet, they help a lot too). I still think it's funny how FC likes Sun, he told Stitchwraith he's like a toy so he likes playing with him (again something like that, not gonna rewatch the ep to get the exact quote)... Then seeing him vibe with the ghost kids Gregory is friends with? Mwah perfection. I also love his dynamic with Francine, him getting tackle hugged at her birthday party and even consenting to turning into a dragon for her? SO CUTE 🥰

I haven't even gotten to the part when he meets Dazzle and hangs with Jack more but I know it's gonna be so perfect. I really like Jack he's so silly. The broken Ipad bit was comedy gold.

Back to Sun!

It's just a nice reminder Sun earned his skills through hard work. It's great when he gets to shine and teach others about his skill. Childcare in general is so hard, so he needs to know how valued that is.

UGH I just love him.

From what I've seen, he takes such good care of his family too.

He's just so playful and ready to hang with them at the drop of a hat. He let Earth vent to him. He makes sure Lunar is ok and is the only one that doesn't baby him. He asked Earth to reach out to Lunar because he could tell Lunar wasn't comfortable to ask him. He also makes sure Solar gets breaks (it's hard for the show to implement that on screen due to them having the same va but it's still shown he gets Solar to rest). I remember he was one of the first people Ruin really decided to speak to and he didn't just outright kick Ruin out of the daycare.

Then just everything with the current Moon too. He comforts him, gets him to rest, and was there when he broke down over Solar. I also like that he's actually the voice of reason for the current Moon and he feels comfortable enough to argue back (it's big for him. I still get goosebumps from when he was learning star power in secret and actually had a shouting match over it with Moon)

I haven't gotten to the part when he tells Earth and Lunar about Solar's death and Ruin's betrayal but I know he's going to be there for them too when he does.

I understand the fandom perceives Old Moon as the older brother but I just disagree with that fundamentally. Sun was the first one awake so to me that makes him the oldest. I think KC likes to claim the oldest but idk how that works programming-code creation wise? In one of the most recent episodes I watched Lunar called Old Moon the big brother but idk man....I don't see it. To me Sun has always been the oldest.

I love seeing him get to be a big brother to people who genuinely fight over his attention. It's just so warm and fuzzy. Like Lunar and Earth going to him to literally just be pampered? And he was so ready to? He went to the store to make them a charcuterie board. They just showed up uninvited and immediately demanded love and my home boy delivered.

"Sun you're the big brother and we're babies, we are babies . Take care of us big bro we want your love 🥺 we're the baby siblings take care of us"

Good stuff.

I like how in the Therapy ep Sun sussed out invisible Lunar. I think he's one of the only people to know when Lunar is invisible.

Ok so my theories and stuff

So like... Am I imagining that Moon's eyes are suddenly glowing purple? They didn't used to do that. I paused my progress of the sams watch through but in the ep I'm watching with him having his total mental break (having a realistic dream Sun died would do that) I noticed it seems like his eyes have a purple glow. And I'm really certain they didn't used to do that.

I was told to watch him and that's like the biggest thing I'm noticing with him. He seems sick? I can tell Earth, Monty, and Sun are trying to help him but like I've seen the spoilers on Tumblr and in fics so I'm sure he's going to push them away...... But yeah he's absolutely sick and the purple is not good. :(

Other than that....

I have more to say but I've put a lot in this post lol. I'll talk more about Sun in my next post.

Sorry for mentally ill thoughts this evening but I've always wondered how this is going to end. To me, welcome home has been a story about changing. And because of a certain music artist's album and WHs popularity being around the same time, I can't let go of my interpretation of what change will look like at the end of this project. (1/?)

(2/?) I've always found what characters a fandom gets attached to QUICKLY to be a marker of what a story is going to do with these characters and what metatexually that is gonna mean for the story...

Let's start with the big one: Wally himself. THIS GUY HAS SO many interpretations! He is simultaneously the most dangerous and fascinating character out of all of them. To analyze him (and some of the neighbors I'll talk about) I used tarot cards, btw I'm @pretty-in-possible but this is my reblog alt

Wally was Judgement which is intresting because its definition includes

When The judgement is in the upright position, it represents the realization of one's calling, realistic thinking and gaining a deep understanding of life through self-examination.

(3/?) When reversed, it can represent refusal of self-examination and growth, self-doubt, regret, and blame. In my eyes, change and (what I think will happen to the puppets) transformation is only possible with that kind of thought. Which, coupled with your own analysis of wally and home spells as disaster. Whats particularly affecting MY brainworms is Barnaby. His card is the Magician: The Magician is an artisan and the ideas person.  It is a very action oriented card. It represents learning and using knowledge in creative and unorthodox ways, and seizing the day by displaying resourcefulness. Barnaby is definitely an open-minded person just with his behavior shown through just visuals.

(4/?) I am also invested in his pipe which I know just has bubbles in it, but it adds to this stoner read to his character that *I* see??? There is just something about him that tells me he will have the easiest time with this Existential crisis as to him (based of the tarot reading) this knowledge is incredibly freeing, cuz it would just mean there is More in the World to Discover. In my experience reading past life regression therapy testimonies, I've heard of how some people encounter this place in the afterlife people under hypnosis describe as a soul cleansing, a place where gem-colored rays of light shine through every inch of your soul, cleansing your spirit of the trauma it had experienced during your last lifetime. And I feel like Barnaby will experience those same feelings (NOT THE SAME PROCESS). (I might ramble more about this later, in ask box or in dms if thats okkkk)

my sincerest apologies for sitting so long on this one, i wanted to make sure i had time to really, like. sit down and Process it. and then shortly after i started writing this response i got food poisoning so. lol.

because of of how in-depth this ask gets, i wouldn't feel right neglecting any part of it, so i'm just gonna write down my thoughts bullet by bullet as i go through this. under the cut for convenience:

how welcome home is going to end .... obviously, i cannot offer anything conclusive right now (if i can offer anything at all) given how early we are, but i have always had the vague impression that whatever the ending of this story is, we as the audience may never be able to see all of it. it feels like so much has been given to us already. i assume we will be given much more, regardless of how willing to give or receive anyone involved is. we owe it to our neighbors to let them decide which parts to give and which to keep, at the end of the day. i think that's the best way i can phrase it. but as always, only time will tell.

agree about Change likely being a big part of welcome home, whichever form it takes.

I WOULD VERY MUCH LIKE TO KNOW THE NAME OF THIS ARTIST. i am Dreadfully unfamiliar with a lot of 70s musicians outside of the biggest names - my first thought was either connie converse or daniel johnston, but iirc most of converse's music was recorded in the 50s-60s and johnston only started recording music in the late 70s. i don't know if bruce haack was ever super popular back when he was actually making music.

the idea of which characters fandom gets attached to being indicative of what canon does with them...? i'm not so sure about this one, honestly. fandom can get attached to a stale piece of toast that shows up for a single scene if so desired (which, for the record, isn't a bad thing.) of course, i say that based off of my own experiences, but fan reception has never really been a Factor in speculation for me either way.

calling wally dangerous doesn't feel inaccurate, but i think it's more like. i do not think he is inherently dangerous but he absolutely has the Capacity to do dangerous things. i think it is interesting that despite this (or perhaps because of it?) he appears to be more vulnerable with us than he Ever was with the other neighbors? but a.) that may not be saying much and b.) it is Also largely rooted in speculation + the fact that home and the audience are currently the Only two entities wally has been seen interacting with directly, as opposed to his interactions/relationships with other neighbors that have so far only been briefly described by the WHRP or showcased in brief snippets of concept art.

grinning so so so wide at the judgement/inverted judgement descriptions. i wish i had more to say but i'm having a hard time coming up with something that isn't just pointing to the inverted judgement description and going "yeah that's almost Exactly what i'm getting from wally so far."

again, agree about the possibility of Change playing some kind of role here, eventually - more specifically the fear of change even when it may prove to be beneficial, whether that be on wally's part or the neighbors' or the WHRP's or the staff's or the audience's or even the very setting of home itself. i imagine some grotesque hodgepodge of all of the above. something something points to that post i reblogged about sitcoms as horror.

BARNABY, HUH... for the record my personal hc regarding his pipe is that whatever's in it changes depending on what would be the funniest answer at any given moment. if tobacco is funnier, then it's tobacco. if bubbles are funnier, then it's bubbles. looney tunes logic.

on a more serious note: i'm a little worried i won't have much to say about barnaby that i haven't said already! i think it may be too early to discern the Specifics of his personality from website art/descriptions alone but i do get the distinct impression that he's meant to be a lot more down to earth than wally, which of course is an interesting contrast to the nature of wally's whole [gestures vaguely] Everything. from this, i think it is Reasonable to assume that he's also a lot better at rolling with the punches as well, although i never did consider the possibility that learning about The Bullshit would be liberating for him, in a sense - i don't know about it being a cleansing experience, unless you count the recontextualization of things that didn't previously make sense as a sort of cleansing in itself, in which case it could absolutely be that. something about the parallels to cosmic horror... the relationship between the Fear of change and the Catharsis of change...

oh, but wouldn't this also put him at odds with wally, who seems to be on the Exact Opposite End Of The Spectrum, even when they understand each other like no other? Much To Think About... very exciting potential for Conflict there.

i like makoto too but its... interesting, to say the least, that you feel the need to explain away and justify his actions and treatment of his sister instead of just... discussing them or explaining how you think he is mentally and/or how he can make up for his actions... regardless of his theoretical mental illness and trauma, hes STILL responsible for his own actions, and his sister never deserved to be treated that way.

eh i'm trying my best to not justify him. i've just been so attached to the character and he means a lot to me so him being disregarded as a creepy siscon just bothers me yk? and i made my own posts and analysis of his mental illness i suspected... i just try to not correct or confront people about it whenver they do talk about him. that scares me lol

the thing is... he can't make up for his actions? he's a comedic relief siscon character that doesn't get any depth nor character development throughout the series. what could he possibly do to redeem himself without us having to write fanfiction about it? yes, i like to imagine him being a better brother, getting help for his disorder and issues. but that's just my interpretation of a flawed and underwritten character. and a lot of it is influenced by makokuu. but canon doesn't help much here.

he's not great, but he would've had more redeeming qualities if he wasn't a one joke character. i can't really do much about it but make up my own scenarios and stories on how he could be a good brother while acknowledging he's not a great person.

kokomi doesn't deserve to be stalked and makoto being so jealous and protective of her in his disturbed ways. i agree. but some people make him out to be some sort of sexual abuser in this scenario, which he isnt. we see domestic teruhashi siblings only what 3 times? maybe 2 more if we count them going to the movies together and on christmas... id love to see more scenarios of them just being siblings. but no. most of the scenes with him were written to be an exaggerated siscon trope. to be funny...

yes he is responsible for his actions, but he does need help. the help everyone is aware he shouldve gotten long ago before his obsession morphed his perception of whats acceptable for him to do to someone he loves and cares about. but what can we do about it when we never get to see him get better?

but at the same time i simply cannot think of him as the fanon "GUYS HE WANTS TO DO DIRTY STUFF TO HER KILL THAT PERVERT" anymore. despite his nonexisting depth, im doing my best to explore his character as much as i can.

i'm likely this way due to being harassed before back when i had to pretend like i only like a purified version of makoto to not have my safety threatened. i take this stuff too personally sometimes and feel genuinely threatened, apologies. a doxxing attempt over an anime boy and opinions can fuck someone up for years yk? :(

Hey! I was looking through the information about your Links, and I really like the direction your AU is going :D I'm always a fan of some HW brothers content and I love the potential of having totk/botw Link with AoC Link :D

I do want to let you know though, that some parts of the character information can come off ableist. I'm confident it was never your intent, but I highly encourage doing research before representing disabled people--mentally and physically. (Pardon, this might run a little long, I'm rambly and I'm very passionate about doing your own research before you represent communities, since we're a system with BPD, PPD and chronic pain. Misinformation only hurts the communities you try to represent, and disability is NOT an aesthetic).

With that in mind, I would like to point out that Tears "traumatising the others by taking off his arm" can come off incredibly misinformed about Prosthetics. Amputees do not wear their prosthetics all the time, they aren't surgically attached to their bodies and "traumatises" implies that the act of taking off an assistive device can be scary/unsettling when it should not be. Many amputees will actively go days without wearing their prosthetics, and a lot of them even have wheelchairs or canes to suffice :D wearing a prosthetic all day every day without taking it off can be extremely unhealthy.

The other thing I want to point out is Tune answering with "for the aesthetic" when asked why he wears an eyepatch and that he actually didn't lose an eye. Respectfully, but partial blindness is not an aesthetic 😭😭 I understand that its the "pirate" aesthetic but...those pirates...usually actually have lost their eyes. For light sensitivity, there are real assistive devices called "Blackout Glasses" which are used to reduce incoming light to the sensitive eyes. Though, I can also understand that since this is his answer and not a narrative excuse, it's possible it's just ableism that the character displays but the narrative doesn't excuse but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

That all being said, I don't think you were intentionally ableist and I'm not calling you ableist either /clar I mean no disrespect and I love your AU so far, I'm interested to see more of it, but I'm coming from a place of care when I say that there's aspects of it that can seem misinformed. Disability is already so vastly misunderstood in the internet sphere and it's a serious problem that inhibit millions of people; not an aesthetic or something you can put into stories to make characters more interesting or push traumatic backstory.

Thank you for sending this! It was absolutely not my intent at all to cause harm or misrepresent. As someone who is disabled myself, I believe representation is so so so important and I try my best to do as well as I can. I’ve done a lot of research to write characters with experiences different from my own correctly and as respectfully as possible.

I fully acknowledge I was in the wrong by using the word ‘traumatized’ to describe how Tears suddenly taking off his arm makes the others feel, and I deeply apologize for that. The word I meant was ‘startled’, and I have fixed that. Thank you for bringing that to my attention! I struggle with tone and words and that is no excuse, and I definitely used the wrong word so thank you so much for pointing that out. I know it is uncomfortable to wear prosthetics for long periods of time which is why Tears takes theirs off, however the reason I said it’s a bit startling to the others is because they had no idea it was a prosthetic the first time it happened. Tears wears a lot of long sleeves, especially at first, and the prosthetic simply isn’t visible, and he didn’t warn the others, he just simply took it off. It can be quite shocking to see your friend suddenly remove their arm. The others also often forget he has a prosthetic and worry if that arm of his gets ‘hurt’ before remembering Tears is completely okay. Again, I am so sorry, I did use the wrong word, that is my fault, I have fixed it.

As far as Tune and his eyepatch goes, I haven’t had the opportunity to write out a full post about him, but he is based on me. To explain it further: one of his eyes is very sensitive to the light, the other is fine, hence why he only covers one. It is very hard for him to see in bright lighting with his right eye, so he covers it to protect it. There’s nothing “wrong” with it, it was never injured, it’s just always been that way. He takes the patch off when he’s in dimly lit rooms or areas because his eye can handle low levels of light, so he’ll take it off when he goes below deck in order to see because that eye is adjusted to darkness. Again, his vision situation is based solely off of myself and the way I experience highly and lowly lit areas, though I have also done some research on the situation in addition to using my own experience. I’ve had to wear eyepatches, I know how uncomfortable they are. He wears it for a functional reason, but he doesn’t like to explain that to people because they don’t tend to understand, so he jokes around abut it. He may say it’s for that pirate aesthetic, but without it, he’s in immense pain. His eyepatch protects him

If I have upset anyone by Tune still having an eye and wearing an eyepatch I am truly sorry /gen. It was never my intention to cause harm or make anyone upset. 7 : what is your deepest joy about writing?

i guess like just the fact that i can build entire worlds. worlds with new languages, physics, entities, everything. i can completely go off of the rails with worlds and THEN make up a cool-ass main-character lifestyle for a person in that world! i can make people with personalities. i entertain the multiverse theory and i just love thinking about my worlds being real. it's cool!! also like with my own worlds and stuff i don't tell anyone the specifics of these places outside of tumblr/discord and sometimes my worlds are mine. i can see a fucking rollercoaster and imagine it in tiny workers! i can see a bag of wilbur chocolate and smile to myself knowing that almost 100 people have read what i had to say about this bag of chocolate. it's cool as hell!!! also the same thing will apply to songs, i can listen to a song after having made a new wip and go "holy shit, this reminds me of ___!"

ALSO another joy is adding personal easter eggs. (usually; if i can remember) every 1970'th word of my fic, i'll add a word referring to ff1970 because i am soo attached to fics i hate. also my phone password is 8866273 (oops) because spell that out with letters and it's tumoasd (another fic i hate but am attached to dearly)! i am soo attached to lil easter eggs that i and only a few other people can get.

OHHH and another one! this is kinda just for fanfic (as if i write anything else) but i love connecting things to the thing i'm writing for. my absolute FAVORITE one is SO SO SO cool like i will never let myself forget how cool it is is soot house. i won't go into detail about the fic cause yeah but lvjy's song one day fits SO WELL with it. "one day i know that you will be there, one day i'll focus on the future" is one that fits with sh!wilbur, but that's not the cool one at ALL

soot house is a hill house/bly manor au and a certain lil event happens on november 16th 1852 (year was COMPLETELY random) AND AND that happens to be on a TUESDAY. in one day, there's the line "'cause all i want to do is turn back time, at least a couple tuesdays, to before i found one life turn two" WHICH WAS COMPLETELY RANDOM I DID NOT SET THAT UP IN THE SLIGHTEST, IT JUST KINDA FELL INTO PLACE! and it's so cool bc in the fic wil is immortal and the line (while i know that's def not their intended purpose of that line) "before i found one life turn two" KINDAA FITS THAT bc that was the day he went immortal" and to think wil sung that song and he's the main character of soot house and idk it's soo cool how that fell into place bc 1852 was COMPLETELY random. ANYWAYS sorry to ramble like that QASJDGFSD

24 : how much prep work do you put into your stories? what does that look like for you? do you enjoy this part or do you just want to get on with it?

hhh well that depends on the story! i mean look at tiny workers with DAYS of worldbuilding, then soot house which i've never touched an outline for but still have 10k for. it's all really random. but usually planning will all be mental. if it's a larger fic i'll make a pinterest board for it and OCCASIONALLY a playlist. but usually it's just a mental outline, bc if i ever try to write anything down i put it down and try again soo many times with a different approach,,, it's a very messy process sometimes. i do like worldbuilding, it's really fun! but i think unless someone is making me do something specific with specific questions they want me to answer i just can't do anything asdjfh

hm. i really don't know, i'd have to think about it! i'd say i'm still a pretty noob writer so i don't have a cool unique writing process. butttt if i had to say, maybe the fact that it's so open? that's not necessarily weird in any way but sometimes i just feel like opening a doc on my phone and writing lil words on the way home or when no one is looking. other days i will get all cozied up and make my environment all aesthetic and shit lol (but when i do that i usually cave and just watch netflix or youtube lol)

I have many OCs (kinda) (not really)! I'll only talk about Enstars first bc much to say about each of them so this is gonna be a loooong ramble already!! I apologize in advance for my possibly incoherent essay(s)

First up, Kiyoko!

She used to be a Yuguysona back when I was in the NijiEN rabbithole, but bc I was too attached to her design to toss/scrap him, I brought him into the Enstars Universe! Kiyoko was meant to stay as like- my self insert/persona in Enstars? But they eventually kinda deviated from that and became her own character!

Uhhh as you can see I've been running around she/he/they for Kiyoko, and that's because he's gender fluid! Why? Because I am a mess about my own gender and creating/tweaking Kiyoko was a way for me to explore that area. Now they're my gender goals + I am very down bad for her ✨

Just like my other soon-to-be-rambled-about OCs, this blueberry is a very tragic little creature - she has one or two problems from my life mixed in with the hundreds of problems from the Ensemble Stars Universe. Relatively nice family, once bullied, has a friend in a coma, swings between being compliant to being stubborn, overthinks and overworks, is a very tired child... Yeah! The usual~ A third year student in Yumenosaki, who sneaked in as a male in the first year with the help of some teachers, but now others knowing she's afab doesn't get him kicked out either so 👏👏👏 went solo for a while before the mess in the war, so they picked up a teammate/friend by being weirdly philosophical and whimsical on the roof of the school 👍! Kiyoko is very passionate about the idea of freedom thanks to The War in Enstars aksnksnskd

What's ironic about him is that she's the leader of a unit whose theme is "freedom", yet mentally she's as free as a dove in an undersized cage. Kiyoko keeps going on and on about how people need the freedom to choose (as long as it doesn't harm others) and yet never gives himself that freedom due to fear of making another mistake that would snowball into a devastating consequence (see: friend in coma).

Anyway! We have very similar fashion sense/styles, which is over-the-top-accessorizing! I have no explanation for this other than: I really like earrings and chains and chokers and rings and boots and shiny silver bits and looking good in general! Sunshine of Kiyoko's unit, Wing5! Formerly a solo idol who failed after debut, she was scouted out by New Di/Kiyoko/Tsumugi to be part of Wing5. She's a strong vocalist, often pairing with Kiyoko to take on the melody of their songs, hence the ship name "Songbirds" (That ship is like fan speculation? It's not entirely canon unless I want it to be)

In terms of appearance, Ai and I look the most similar thanks to our front bangs ✨ Her hair is all purple, she just dyed her side bangs to match her eyes! Also since every OC has a piece of their creator's soul, she has my extroverted side! She's a bumbling 20 year old or so - think "wine aunt" vibes!

Ai's actually very insecure though, due to her failure as a solo idol. She may be cheeky, but she's very sensitive to others' emotions and tries her best not to push them to the limit in case they decide to abandon her because of whatever antics she's up to, or because she's not good enough. Imposter syndrome too, maybe?

I think she needs to be babied more she's always taking care of others... Mom of Wing5™️ old

Next! Uhhhh what was her name... Yurika!!

Resident tryhard emo and chronically online child, her strength lies more in marketing, video editing etc. more than performing onstage! Despite being paired with Akari (who will be rambled about next) due to her dance, Yurika is more widely recognized as Wing5's rapper.

She's the shortest in Wing5! ++ An albino, which is why all Wing5 performances are usually done indoors/at night outdoors to prevent aggravating her condition (I opened so many tabs for this but I've forgotten so much I'm sorry if anything isn't accurate). Her left eye is also affected by... Something which the name I can't remember- it affects albinos and causes their vision to be blurry, even with glasses. Yurika just needs glasses in general bc she has been sitting in front of the PC for so long sknskdnd

Our similarities... Being online like 24/7? She has a worse sleep schedule than me though bwahahaa ✨ We both also melt. Like. Absolutely melt into nothingness whenever we're presented with affection. (At least I think I would...?)

Her ship with Akari is. Canon. I will not hear arguments I created them!! 🙉 They've been traveling/living together for a few years before Wing5, when Yurika was 15 and Akari was 18, bc their families are close friends and Yurika's family decided it was time to kick her out of her dark gloomy room to see the world with Akari, who was going around Japan to look for jobs as a dancer! When Akari landed a job, they had to continue travelling to follow the idol around on his/her concerts as a backup dancer, and Yurika stuck with Akari throughout the years until they landed in Wing5~ it's like the "omg they were roommates" situation! She's very prickly with everyone else aside from Akari, especially Kiyoko bc they have severely clashing opinions from time to time lmao

Bonus: She uses her name as a pun for "Eureka" so it sounds like "this is an Eureka moment!" but it practically means 'this is Yurika's moment!'

I never thought I'd say so much about Yurika but I will speak more about her in the next ramble about her wife girlfriend, Akari!

Heads up, Akari's transfem! She transitioned before + during her travels with Yurika, but doesn't feel completely female? An imbalanced in-between, like a tomboyish girl! And that's why she's the tallest in Wing5, bc hormones- By male standards, she's softer and more feminine, but by female standards she's a little too masculine. Gender who?

Tragically, she doesn't have a family other than her little brother (to be rambled about next), whom she is very protective about. She was taken care of by Yurika's family until 15 when she moved to school dorms while her brother remained with Yurika's family, then after graduation she came back to bring Yurika around Japan at her family's request.

They do return Yurika's feelings towards them, though Akari needed time to sort her own emotions out after Yurika's confession because they had never really thought of having a partner? Akari just felt comfortable and safe and at home with Yurika, that's all. So yeah they were disaster gays at some point before officially starting their relationship as lovers!

Akari is really hostile towards Kiyoko, though she displays it mostly in a passive-aggressive way. Why? Bc they blame Kiyoko for what happened to her little brother 😔 Will be explained soon!

Akari's name used to be Akira! This is a coincidence that it happens to be the Enstars story writer's name, I didn't know until a while after creating Akari 😅

Jaxon is a cool name but I'm possibly biased for names that sound 'sharp' and/or have like x, y, and z in them. Wait I'm totally biased for x considering my "X-Experiments". Six characters all named X basically and choose names for themselves starting with X.

Sorry I'm about to ramble but I just wanna share a bit about my process for naming characters

Not giving a character a name until you have all the details worked out actually sounds pretty smart. Bobo was originally a drawing I made of a little girl with a big hammer that loves sweets. Just a random design that I left sitting for the longest time until I decided she'd fit this princess character when I was reading some fanfiction (as I don't like to insert myself into x readers) and I misremembered the name as Bobo. The name for this random character design was Bebe. Then a few years later as I was contemplating trying out Twisted Wonderland is when I actually started to develop Bobo along with the idea of an underground mushroom kingdom.

But every now and then I feel slight anguish for choosing Bobo as her name. As not only does it feel a bit lame as a name for a princess, I can't help but think "Bobo the clown" along with the mental image of that person putting on a clown wig and makeup while looking sad. But I'm too attached to that being her name to try finding a better name.

When it comes to me picking names I have several different ways I go about it. Either a random name or a word that doesn't really exist comes to me. If I have an idea for a meaning behind the name I'll look up names that mean this word or that word but if that doesn't work then I might just look at a list of names starting with a letter that's starts the same as a meaning I wanted to get. Sometimes I just look through a list of names and their meanings for ideas. Though there are a few times where I'll take several words and mash them together to form a name. Usually just being meanings I want associated with the character, names with those meanings, or just a collection of names I like but I don't want to use any single one.

Though I think most of the time I design the visuals of the character then try to find a name, but I usually get ideas for the character while drawing them. Then there's a few times where I have the character spinning about in my head because I haven't gotten around to drawing them and sometimes just able to think of names for them since they're sitting there waiting anyway.

(Please don't ask for the fanfiction that made me think of Bobo in a princess role as 1. I don't recall the name but I think it was on Quotev? 2. I'm a bit embarrassed by it but you have to understand sometimes I look up certain fanfictions simply because I need to know if anyone has written any 'x reader' stuff for this or that character.)

Why did you choose the name Jaxon? Just because it sounded cool or a deeper reason?

lmaoo this is going to reveal some of the horrors of my writing process but here we go!

So when I'm creating an oc they actually all start out with my name so in the beginning, Jaxon was actually Ryker. It's only until after the rest of the outline for the oc is finished (personality, backstory, role, etc.) that I finally choose a name for them. This is partially because I'm lazy, but it's also because then I get to choose a name that I think fits them well since I now have a better idea of what they're like

So when the time came that I wanted to share Jaxon on my blog, I scrolled though a list of 1,000 names until I found one I was satisfied with. I actually ended up liking the name Jaxon a lot and thought it fit him well, so that's the name I went with!

I must request a rant about Pierro or Capitano, I love your headcanons with them!

Ohh man you've got no idea what you've just done aha, I'm very much fixated on these two specifically right now so prepare for not just a rant but a full blown ramble below the cut for both of them

Some minor angst for Pierro's section, be warned

Ok, so in a general kind of sense, I can see Pierro being a very volatile and unpredictable individual, especially when he's in a space where it's safe for him to do so. He can be extremely strict and bossy (especially towards the other harbingers) and kind of detaches himself emotionally from those around him and staunchly refuses to allow himself to get attached because he's just so tired of losing everyone and everything he loves time after time.

I could definitely see him having some form of PTSD, but his outbursts get brushed off as being because of him being in a very highly stressful position as opposed to the fact that he's mentally fucked from so many times of him losing everything he cares about. He really just needs a friend (and maybe some therapy).

I also headcanon him as having arthritis, which gets aggravated a lot by the cold, so he tends to rug up a lot, but he's still very much more on edge than usual - he hates the cold, which makes it kind of suck that he lives in Snezhnaya, in the palace of the Cryo Archon. I could also see him having some back issues (maybe scoliosis or something like that?) so he spends a lot of time cooped up in his chambers, huddled by the fireplace as he curses the cold and dreams of somewhere more temperate.

He's very much the 'grumpy old grandpa' trope, he reads his morning newspaper and drinks his black coffee at the dining table (and in modern AUs scolds people for touching the thermostat). For someone who loathes the cold so much, he sure does have quite the cold personality.

That's not to say his stony facade never falls, however, he does have his moments where he can be something that borders on sweet, especially to the younger members of the Fatui - he exercises an extra bout of patience and will try to the best of his ability to make sure those in his squadrons all come home safe. Despite his anger at the Archons, and the world in general, he doesn't want others to have to go through the same pain that he has.

Capitano... I feel like my interpretation of him differs depending on whether or not it's a modern/real world au. I really like the idea of him being an empty/haunted husk of armour, but now that I've found an appearance headcanon I like for him I've really warmed up to the idea of him being a human.

I headcanon him to look a bit like the rugby player Ma'a Nonu, who has Samoan descent (and is very nice looking imo). I know MHY is gonna disappoint if Cap ever gets a face reveal so I'm just going ham on my headcanons here.

Capitano is very big and broad, his head almost looks a little too small for his body (though his helmet covers it just fine). He has a decent amount of scarring that he's kind of insecure about (and perhaps a touch of vilitigo?), which is a large part of why he wears the clothing he does (in modern AUs, the knight's helmet is replaced with a baseball cap, sunglasses and face mask). He also has dreads, sorry not sorry.

On the surface (and to all of those around him) he's a quiet and intimidating individual, he doesn't speak much (if at all), and when he does it's straight to the point, he doesn't mince his words. His canon voice is... fine, but I feel like I have a different one floating around in my head when I write about him. He also knows a good amount of sign language too, but it doesn't really come in handy unless the people around him know it as well.

He comes off as cold and detached at first, but once he finds someone that he feels needs his protection (whether that be a self insert, canon character, or OC, depends on the day <3 (spoiler: in my case its usually a self insert akjfhkdjsf)), he turns into a big mama bear and takes them under his wing.

He's very protective over his chosen charge, despite how much the others may tease him for it. Capitano has a very strong sense of loyalty and ideals and once he's put his mind to protecting someone, he'd sooner die than let something happen to them. He firmly believes that actions speak louder than words, so instead of reassuring the ones he cares about, he just lets his actions do the talking, wordlessly looking after them in his own signature way (which could entail him physically protecting them from harm, or doing small things to keep them safe such as lending his coat, cooking food, or making sure there's always somewhere safe for them to hide away if things get too much).

Despite all of this, he struggles a bit to empathise consistently with those around him if he hasn't connected to them in his signature way, especially if he sees them as a lower rank than himself. In some AUs at least, he sees the other Harbingers as a kind of family, and subtly does things to help them out (though he's careful not to get caught), but if it's someone he doesn't spend much time around on a daily basis, he just sort of... disregards them.

Sorry this turned into a bit of an incoherent rant, I just got VERY excited seeing these two names in my inbox, I love these two so so much. Thanks so so much for the ask, I really do appreciate it :D!!

Hi! I just read your post on Azula and diagnosing her and/or other fictional characters with mental illness. I really appreciated the read.

As a person who has struggled with mental illness and a neurodivergency called NVLD (similar to ASD and ADHD, but neither), I find it very important to be careful with mental health headcanons and avoid ableism. I really enjoy researching many different things related to psychology, primarily using peer reviewed articles and print sources. I did develop a headcanon that Azula would be diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder after the age of eighteen, based on the research I did and on personal experiences I have had with people I knew with the disorder. I can see why people would disagree with this headcanon and that’s valid. I want to make sure I��m not being careless in any way, shape, or form.

Ableism is something that has impacted me very, very negatively in my own life. I’ve had very distressing and stressful experiences due to people fundamentally misunderstanding neurodivergency and mental illness. I often struggle too because I can “pass” as neurotypical and without mental illness, so people tend to assume the worst when I miss social cues or act out when I’m stressed. One of the many things that drew me to Azula as a character is that I could relate to her inner conflicts, traumas, and emotions and feeling like I had to prove myself to people in order to be valued. And…the last thing I’d want to do is extend any ableism towards Azula in my writing of her in my fics. She is twenty when she is diagnosed with BPD in a modern setting with a trained psychologist. But I want to still be careful.

Sorry this is a long, rambly ask. My question would be: am I going about this in a healthy and respectful way or is there something I need to do differently?

Hi! I totally respect wanting to be careful with mental illness/neurodiverse headcanons, but I definitely want to make it clear that the point of that post wasn't to tell people to never headcanon Azula as having some type of mental illness- especially mentally ill/neurodiverse people themselves. To me it sounds like you've really thought about this and have done far more research than most people would- looking at peer reviewed articles is already impressive for someone not in an academic field!

BPD Is a tough diagnosis, not because the disorder is some big bad scary thing, but because it's gotten a really bad rap over the years. I've had a lot of experience working with BPD clients since making that post, and it's always a hard diagnosis to give because there's so much stigma around it. I've spent many an hour now with patients just explaining the disorder and how I personally think about it in context of the individual person's life experiences/trauma history/early attachment relationships. And it overlaps with complex trauma a lot. So much so that the woman who first conceptualized C-PTSD (Judith Herman, absolute queen) acknowledges that many C-PTSD patients also meet criteria for BPD.

(C-PTSD is still not a formally recognized diagnosis so a lot of those patients end up with a BPD diagnosis anyway cuz that's what's in the book...)

Anyways, it sounds to me like you're doing the work to treat this diagnosis and Azula's character as respectfully as possible. I don't think there's any reason Azula couldn't, in theory, develop BPD, especially in a modern AU setting where I'm assuming fighting in the war isn't part of the story. BPD is a much more likely outcome to child abuse than a psychotic disorder for sure (though both are possible.) It's certainly far more likely than the other personality disorders fandom likes to give her. So I think keep doing what you're doing and you'll be just fine.

Something particularly shitty happened to me a few days ago and I had no one I could talk about it to because no one in my social circles understands abusive parents and I had just... an intense desire for a Dr Gary in my life. (I've tried 4 1/2 therapists whenever I can afford it and been scarred every time)

Anyway, I'm really sorry to hear that you went through something shitty anon, especially that you also had no one to talk to about it. If you ever want to come vent in the Fae Tales Discord, you're very welcome, and there will definitely be people there who understand about abusive parents and how difficult it can be. <333 There is a mental illness channel and an angry channel, it's not all Fae Tales discussion, because most of us who love Fae Tales or enjoy my writing have generally been through some shit and are going through some degree of trauma recovery or trauma or mental illness/es, or all of the above.

It can be really hard to find a good therapist too, sometimes it's about knowing the modality that would suit you, so you can search therapist/s by modality (i.e. CBT / DBT / EMDR / expressive / Gestalt / narrative / attachment / STAIR). Like I would actually hate Dr Gary as a personal therapist and would have fired him a long time ago, lol, but I've seen around 20 therapists and it's really only been the last 3 that have been genuinely helpful, because I realised that I did really badly with CBT / EMDR, which are the first-line treatments trotted out for PTSD.

But also, frankly, any therapy when you're still in an abusive situation can't really do much except help you survive what you're already surviving. No one really does their best healing work while they're still in the place that's causing the open wounds, which sucks, honestly. :/ :/ Especially because independence from abusive situations is increasingly hard for people to attain.

Okay okay I didn't mean to ramble so much. I hope you're taking care of yourself anon, especially in light of folks around you not doing it when they should. And yeah Dr Gary is a total wish fulfilment therapist! I had no idea that would be so rewarding to write, but it really has been, and I'm gonna miss the hell out of that guy.

I do want to go off about Jiang Yanli a bit at some point because like. Her actress in the drama did such a good job but she's a systematically under-written character, a bit, and I've seen a good bit of work done in the fandom to cover the many ways she is, could, or should be epic and imposing within the bounds of her nature, so I want at some point to sit down in that sandbox with a big bucket of water and dig into the ways she is covertly a disaster person like everyone else in the book in general and her family in particular.

Because you can admire someone for the graceful way she manages her Eldest Daughter Syndrome all you want but dang it I have been that idiot who makes everything worse by walking into the middle of the shitstorm trying to patch her own feelings and sense of worth together by Helping The Younger Ones. That's genuine disaster energy!

That compulsion to make soup and peace doesn't come from a deep well of serenity, this is a reaction pattern rooted in need. Yanli also has mental health problems as a result of her parents' whole deal and I think that's very stylish of her actually.

Points to her for a like, relatable and human Getting Dead For Backstory motive, even if it's largely implicit.

Would love to see her kick her own ass for being a bad example to Wei Wuxian of How To Be A Good Person--not that I'm blaming her I just think it would be really interesting if she blamed herself, for encouraging the self-destructive end of people-pleasing.

But also I think she gets too much credit for self-awareness sometimes, no one with that much conflict-avoidance behavior is going to consistently face the uncomfortable parts of her own motives or the flaws of her attachment objects, so it would be a little tricky to set up without like, resurrecting her in the aftermath of wwx's slaughter meltdown and death. Hmm. Little dark.

I do like that per Phoenix Mountain incident we know that her conflict avoidance is something she can set aside in favor of weaponizing her own no-chill chill, and it's interesting to contemplate the ways this might generalize.

She and Lan Xichen are both weak to their families, in certain ways, and both appear primarily in the context of these families (+their respective Jins) but their spheres of responsibility are so different that it seems almost mean-spirited to compare them.

He was honestly already a rather physically affectionate person to pretty much everyone. At times, it seemed like Dice had no concept of personal space, always getting a bit too up close; so as long as the two of you were somewhat close, acquaintances to some degree even, then Dice was naturally physically affectionate, whatever that entailed.

It's rather easy to get Dice to be affectionate as well, simply initiate it yourself. It was as easy as putting a hand on his cheek, ruffling his hair, or even complimenting him, and he immediately reciprocates it. If you put place a hand on his cheek lovingly, he nuzzles into it as if on instinct; ruffle his hair and you swore you could hear a soft purr from him in a feline-like way; compliment him, and he's instantly beaming and doing so back, going on and on for a while. He could certainly seem to be pushing boundaries if one was shy or even not too fond of the idea of physical touch, but he would try to lessen it if told so.

And it didn't quite have to be affection itself that one had to do in order to get Dice to be so affectionate as well. They could simply fulfill favors for him or treat him out every once in a while, look after him when he clearly had gone a bit too far off into gambling, and Dice would be rambling about how they're the best and be arm-in-arm with them. It could certainly be somewhat suffocating perhaps, both mentally and physically speaking, given how crushing his hugs could be, able to easily inhale his scent, which had a musky tone to it, and how hard he was able to pat your back. It was endearing, however.

Jyushi Aimono

Jyushi can certainly be quite the affectionate person, seemingly always clinging on to and following the footsteps of those he was fond of, more so to ones who advocate for him. That's really the quickest way to get him to be affectionate honestly, to be one of his biggest supporters, to help him out through the hard times and all.

For what felt like a large portion of his life, at least to Jyushi personally, there seemed to be few who truly cared for him and stood by his stand. He's faced many hardships throughout his life, more so during his school days, and most times, Jyushi felt all alone and hopeless. It was quite the dark time for him, and it really wasn't until Hitoya came along and extended his hand that Jyushi truly felt as if he too had another chance at everything. In many ways, Hitoya was quite literally his savior, so it practically goes without saying that he's quick to cling on and attach to anyone that gets even remotely close to him or proves that they care.

One could simply congratulate him on a job well done or give advice, even lend a ear and listen to his shortcomings, as long as they were consistently (keyword) there for him. They just had to be one of his biggest advocates and supporters, and Jyushi would waste no time in being rather affectionate with them. It'd range from consistently seeking them out and conversing with them, perhaps oversharing to some extent, to admiring them and even copying or picking up their tiniest habits in a few ways, whether it be unconciously picking up their linguistic tics or trying out their favorite foods and songs, even when they weren't necessarily to his tastes.

In a way, Jyushi was a very malleable figure, being easily influenced by those he admired and looked up to; and perhaps that was some form of his admiration and affection. Don't get me wrong, he's still very much an established character with his own tastes and ideals and all, but given how he's quick to lacth on to anyone that shows remotely any care for him, I definitely do think he's much more prone to picking up their tiny habits.

so, from bottom to top:

10. Number 5 -> this was the first post on an Eren brainrot and i kinda like the result! i enjoy to write a god complex Eren for some reason and i do enjoy changing from the sweet and loveable one i usually write to make him a little more mean and degrader. i kinda enjoy it. also manbun eren brr

9. Nanami's petplay -> honestly i've never been really into this type of things but i have to admit that do research and write for Nanami a full petplay scene -even when it was really light cause i didn't want to mess up- was pretty nice. honestly, i enjoy to write nanami as well, so it was quite easy to find one of my nanami works on this list haha

8. how do you know they won't cheat! -> my first request and casually the most popular one! i would change tons and tons of things if i rewrite it now, but the way i wrote it -super excited because MY FIRST REQUEST !!- was super special and it has a place on my heart.

7. some sukuna random headcanons about children and nails -> i like sukuna. and specially dad sukuna. he kinda melts a soft spot and i want to write about him, and, i won't lie, he's a tattooed hot af man, what would you expect me to do? i find pretty loveable to write a super sadistic man being so careful and nice with that kid.

6. sleeping alone prank -> specially, because i was able to write it with @levisgirll !! i really enjoyed all the process and i consider her a friend, so it was super fun and nice to write !!

5. schizophrenia and mental care posts -> i always try to spread a positive message about mental health, specially because the country where i am from gives nothing about it. physical health and mental health are both important. mental health can be a real struggle and that's why i write, specially. to get rid of anxiety. and i want my blog to be a scape for everyone, from stress, anxiety or whatever they need to scape from. it also helped me to learn more about some mental issues that won't be taught anywhere here.

Geto as a knight -> i love to write fantasy and specially if it is based on ancient times -right now i'm working on an original novel based in ancient china- so writing this scene as the forbidden princess-knight love was SOO good, i really enjoyed even tho it was short. i also love geto too much ah

Genshin Impact Relationships headcanons -> i really like genshin impact, especially, in writing terms, how it gives so many characters with so many different personalities and plots. so i kinda wrote this out of an impulse but i'm quite attached to it since i personally like those characters and it was one of the most inspiring days i got. it's rare for me to write full headcanons that fast and be quite satisfied with the result, but i like how they turned.

2. just for myself -> mitsuya is so sweeeeet to write and i enjoy being the cheesy i want on his fics. he's so pure and loveable and i also like to think that mana and luna would LOVE mitsu's partner, so it was a super cute and pure thing to write, to be honest.

1. I'm here -> as i already said, this was more a personal desire than a request or something i would write for people to read. i think it pretty shows my needs in that moment and how a nice relationship looks for me as i struggle with anxiety and probably some trust problems. it was something to cheer me up that i wrote thinking about me, but wishing more people could get identified with the main character. i think it's the most personal one of all the things i wrote.

2. Do you have a personal favourite among your OCs?

This will be long lol. On one hand I feel like the answer here is easy, on another I thought about this for an awfully long time and I started realizing some things that I won't get into here. It's interesting to me, but probably not as interesting to others, not to mention I can't quite put everything to words haha, some of the thoughts are too abstract or something.

Anyway, I think we can narrow it down to Tyler/Caleb/Bianca/Rachel/Sharon/Ross (in no particular order), and then we can narrow it even more to Tyler/Caleb/Bianca/Ross. Don't get me wrong, I love the girls but they wouldn't come to life if it wasn't for the already existing characters (their partners). They were created for them, they never existed on their own, even though I later developed them and gave them backstories and traits and whatever that has nothing to do with their partners, so they could exist on their own now. But somehow despite that I'm still more attached to those who came first and kind of with no reason, no particular role assigned at all, if that makes sense. Not sure how to word it exactly.

Back to Tyler/Caleb/Bianca/Ross. These four kind of take turns at being my personal favourites, it depends on a lot of things. At the moment...I think I'm really drawn to Caleb right now. Comfort reasons, basically. Not gonna get into how my mental health has been lately but there's a connection to that 😂

However, if I were to pick just one, all time favourite...yeah, that's the easy answer. It's Tyler, in all three main universes I have (sims/cursed winx au/my nonsims story). But I can't separate him from the others, always at least Caleb or Sharon (ideally both) have to be present, otherwise it would feel weird. I think it might be because of how even in real life, we're not just ourselves, we reflect other people as well, to an extent, and without them we wouldn't be the same.

Throwing in my two cents in the tangent that Beast made.

The way I sort of grew up with the mentality of hope for the best but prepare for the worst...while also understanding more than just what's on screen. LGBTness is becoming common enough that it's not as coded as it used to be, but we still have a long way to go in many remarks. Which is why I think that a lot of people need to remember to appreciate the fanfic writers and fan artist who made content for the ship you love so much, because fanon is where we'll find what we love, sadly not canon.

Even if you take away the age, though age might still have a lot to do with some of that...expectation/hope. Sometimes some fans only know/see the show during those 42-ish minutes that it's on. They might not know ALL of the behind the scene stuff that goes on and who truly has power.

It's sadly why a lot of actors/actresses get hate for stuff their characters did/didn't do when they had very little control over what the script tells them.

There are writers, producers, directors of the show itself. Who may also have to answer to the bosses/owners of the network they're on, who have to abide to the desires of their investors who bank them.

I don't think Beast is jaded. There were so many clear moments that McDanno could be read as canon to the point that so many of the side characters in canon assumed them to be married. It was all there, perfectly laid out, and you can probably find dozens of 'fix it' fics regarding the finale and how it 'should/could' have gone if the network had the balls to, while not fearing the likes of people like PL.

I can still rant and go feral over those damn last three minutes, so I won't start this is long enough already xD

I will say that with each so after H50, the chances of a main m/m couple the likes of McDanno happening grow. So let's keep going and keep hoping. While carrying the reminder that the choices being made aren't those of the actors necessarily(sometimes the show goes on long enough that the actor does get SOME say but even then it's limited).

Encourage content creators of the fandom so they can have their fix of the ship they love. Let them rant when it doesn't happen, reblog shippy moments with them, remind them what a good community fanon can be and it can be curated to the things they want and like. It could be better, it might be getting better, but sometimes we gotta do with what we got.

It's kind of like a rite of passage most fans have to go through. The understanding of how the show in relation to their network works, and learning to seek out what they want to see. Recommend blogs and artist they may enjoy...

This got long, I'm sorry. I also rambled so I hope I made sense. Telling people their ship won't become canon isn't a battle I think many would like to take on. We become very attached to characters and dynamics between characters. So really, just being someone in that fandom who is there is the most you can do. Help those who are new to this experience with your own, and if they truly loved that fandom or that ship, they will, like many of us, still be posting about it even after it ended.

Honestly the part where you mention fic authors and everything of the sort. I agree of course! If anything, I know that we as fans appreciate or even (dare i even say?) understand the characters more? For example, Danny’s character slowly losing what made him Danny. Things like that? I don’t know. Ive seen authors keep characterization in check; where the writers couldn’t. And things along the lines of that. (And I appreciate your positivity overall, cipher. That’s what I want to emphasize the most.)

Ultimately I’m happy that we can all get together and complain a bit, lol. I know it’s negative, but at least we’re doing it as a community. Along with that, making fix-it fics and such is another way we can bond over things we don’t like. XD

I like Mr. Triton specifically because of the gogo event. Being one of the first events i played I’m not gonna lie it’s one of my favorites - his special event after the main event too was just PEAK. ALSO IS RESPECT FOR THE OCEAN? As someone who both deeply fears and loves it I WISH I had that level to just scream how much i love smth like that - it’s a powermove and honestly iconic.

I really like Shiro too! I’ve probs said it before but I see a lot of myself in him especially the flaws - it was essentially “lmao man that’s pretty funny...WAIT A SECOND-” Also the way he treats the D-evils???? They’re his kids you can’t convince me otherwise - he celebrates their birthdays and goes to their recitals like the doting father he is and that’s the FACTS.

Also Ryota! Being one of the first people aside from Sal that you meet I naturally got attached - but honestly after hearing how he struggles with a desire to be important to someone and to have that one of a kind relationship whilst fearing being left behind??? Man that shit hit me WAY TOO HARD. Like damn talk about too close to home aasdfghjkl. Also just the fact that he just wants people to be happy and not fight? Okay this one is probably super obvious BUT THE CRAFTERS. I LOVE EM TOO MUCH SO TO SAVE SPACE IM BUNCHING EM UP. Honestly all of the Shinjuku teachers are cool too! Though I do wish we got to see more of them! I also love a lot of the Yoyogi academy characters! Gunzo is probs my top fav from there because just his whole thing is just so cute. Idk if this counts but I also like the MC’s potential? like obviously the MC is mostly centered around what we as the player want them to be but they’re just so interesting to delve into??? especially because of their circumstances. Like they’re literally thrown into a world with nothing but a name and a phone and they’re flying through everything by the seat of their pants and because they’re ‘lucky’ enough to have 23 souls crammed into them??? LIKE THAT IS A LOT TO HAVE ON YOUR SHOULDER. if anybody needs to go to some kind of therapy its them - Also I personally hc that they probably have a severe attachment to all of the things that they have like photos and even little things like receipts and stuff just to know that they still have those memories to cling to because they dont have any prior - sad hours in this house tonight folks.
