Today in Venice I went to an exhibition with a full official reproduction of Tutankhamon's treasure (awesome 10/10 I loved it) and at some point there was... Freddie!??!? Apparently an artist (who made gorgeous portraits of other kings in the exhibition) decided to draw Tutankhamon so similar to Freddie and I had a moment of confusion 🤣💕💕💕 The eyes and eyebrows are slightly different, but his nose, lips, jaw and cheekbones... thats Freddie, right? 👀

"I like the smell of that. What are you making?" Wriothesley asked casually while he made you squirm and cackle on the floor. He was unbelievable!

"Stohohop i-if you wahahant to f-find out- wahahah!" It was kind of Wriothesley's thing; to tickle you at inconvenient times. He was the type who would surprise you under the shower, not by simply offering to wash your back and showering with you, no, to tickle you mercilessly.

He would pull the same prank when you were doing the dishes, or simply cleaning up or doing the laundry, causing you to drop everything again, or when you were brushing your teeth, like this morning.

Oh big child Wriothesley, would he ever change? Funny thing, you didn't want him to. Even when it was sometimes kind of challenging to deal with.

"I really like your laugh. Did I ever tell you?" he said fondly, pinning you down with only little effort and tickling your tummy like it was nothing. You flailed your arms and laughed hysterically.

"Ohohonly eheheveryday! Heheheh!"

"Now you're exaggerating."

Wriothesley tickled you until you were out of breath and until he was satisfied. He then sat on the floor with you in his arms, in a warm and comfy embrace.

"Don't you want me to finish dinner?" you asked breathlessly. Wriothesley hummed.

"I do. But let's stay like this for a little longer."

You couldn't help but smile and nuzzled his neck. "You're so silly," you whispered fondly, and the two of you then shared a sweet, tender and loving kiss.

hiii, i was rereading smother (per usual) and i was thinking about joel's wish for blossom to be pregnant one day, and how so far she seems afraid of that. it's just.... well, seems a stupid question but, why does he want this? given not just how im sure hes traumatised from what happened to sarah but, doesn't he think that making blossom the mother of his children would be sort of, well i don't know how to put this but "in the way" of his dynamic with her? i mean, he has such fatherly ways with blossom, does he want to change that once they have children? would she still call him her daddy in front of their babies? doesn't he think about how he might be too old to even watch them grow up or help her raise them? does it come from a feeling of not wanting her to be alone after he dies, given their age gap? do you think she would ever speak up about her own thoughts of having or not children? would he ever change his mind if she asked him? i just always thought joel's idea of their relationship was just "me and her against it all" and in a "have her all to myself way" too and i have know idea why im thinking so much about this little fact and i hope you don't think im insane for it, it's just i never read, saw or even heard about anything close to their dynamic before and im just beyond fascinated by the characters you've build, and i sort of want to know every detail of their relationship as much as you are willing to offer! so sorry for the long ask, but thank you so much for sharing their story with us, i didn't really saw it coming but they mean the world to me ♡ lov ya bye

alright shiv, you’ve got me in a bind here agdhdhdh no but this is the byproduct of publishing my story as i go over a very long person of time lol. and over the months my mind moved and changed in regards to where i see details like that going. the core/end of the story has always been planned but along the way i thought that joel would very much like blossom pregnant in the sense of having control over her. he’d have another way to keep her “his” and sort of entrap her. and that man does love the idea of watching her grow his baby because its just a way for him to continue having the upper hand with her and it seemed kind of natural before that he’d be wanting to breed her (and i love a breeding kink 😩). that being said, at that time when he brought it up things were a little more shaky between them so maybe it made sense joel would want to scare her into thinking he was going to get her pregnant one day and have even more reason to keep her there with him forever.

however! over a lot of time and thought, i realized much of what you mentioned about it fitting into their preexisting dynamic. it kind of feels a bit clunky once i really thought it out, especially the sweeter and softer and more fatherly joel got with her. he would likely be scared to have another child! so i’ve got to do the hard thing and admit that honestly that i sort of started changing my mind on them having kids. i wavered a lot with it while thinking through what made the most sense for them.

i don’t want to say too much because this topic will actually be coming into play relatively soon, and so i don’t want to spoil too much of what’s to come! i do have a plan for all of it though because your girl had to do some backtracking/plot hole filling ahhah

I´m a nerd about it (esp antarctica) since 2016 and it is actually the reason I decided to study physical geography and geology :') I want to get more into the arctic because it��s so cool and ive been mostly focused on the antarctic so ... if you wanna share something pls do! :)

hmmmm thats such a nice question! so polar exploration fact per se i just love the packing regulations for the expeditioners like its the same as the "if you could take three things on an island" type of thing. and i´m interested in what they brought! like Lawrence Oates on the scott expedition in 1910 brought a fucking napoleon portrait?! (and remember they were only allowed to take so much weight per person) Frank Debenham from the same expedition brought a collection of cheap bad novels that ended up being devoured by everyone ahhah. idk who it was but on said expedition they also brought a PIANOLA and A BICYCLE. (like why would you need one in antarctica?!) and the ship was far below her max. weight line as she sailed!

So far, distractions have helped a lot (can't wait to read what you posted bby💞) so to anyone feeling lost of what to do or feel I'd say: do whatever makes you feels better. You can be respectful and still feel some normalcy. For me the worst part is getting used to the new reality after something happens.

This... this is something I'm very passionate about despite being asexual we dont talk about it.

Listen, I don't think this is necessarily a popular opinion, but it's mine.

Arthur and Merlin alternate.

Okay, so I'm sure many people actually have that idea but WAIT lemme explain if anyone is confused.

Season 1-2: Arthur tops. Why? Because their relationship at this point isn't as deep. Merlin and Arthur are acquaintances, somewhat friends but they aren't close close. I have the belief that Arthur tops when we think of physical, but when it becomes emotional? Arthur is a complete bottom. besides in season 2 remember when Arthur choked Merlin for like ten seconds? man is kinkyyyyy

I should say not every episode works with this. there are definitely some episodes that don't fit this idea, but when I think about the overall seasons, I would say that Arthur tops. But by the end of season 2, they are friends on an emotional level. But what do I think pushes Arthur and Merlin's relationship even further, into a much more emotional state? Morgana's disappearance and defeating the dragon together.

They've been through some shit together and shared trauma always brings people together in more ways than one.

Season 3-4: Merlin tops. Why? Arthur asks for Merlin's opinion always, he trusts Merlin more, he depends on Merlin much more. He needs Merlin, he relies on him. And Merlin is there to give it.

Season 5: this one... well, I think they've become close enough that their sex goes far beyond this. They have known each other for ten years (according to fandom i actually dont know but that's besides the point basically: it's been a long time) and they have come to fully trust and depend on one another. But, if I were to choose, I would say Arthur tops. And I say that because their characters have evolved since the first season.

Although Arthur is still uncertain about many things, he has made so many friends since he's met Merlin. He's come out of his shell more and trusted more people. Not only does he have Merlin, but he has Gwen, the knights, Gaius, the people's support. He has so many more friends and he's much more happy than he was when he was in season 1.

On the flipside, Merlin has lost so much. He has lost Freya, Balinor, Will, Lancelot (twice), Morgana (as in he feels like he's failed her) (and Daegal who he loses in season 5) - not to mention, his loss of innocence. He tells Gaius he's "grown up" because he has -- trauma and the pressure put on him to succeed have forced him into dealing growing up early. In a way, he's a lot like Arthur from season 1 and Arthur is a lot like Merlin from season 1.

They've changed quite a bit. If I were to show you a graph of their happiness through the seasons, Arthur's would certainly increase while Merlin's would decrease.

And the way that Arthur constantly worries about Merlin and the way Merlin feels as if Arthur doesn't care, as if no one cares about him - and not only that, that he's fine with it -- really is what makes me believe Merlin desperately needs some comfort, and Arthur gives it to him (even if he doesn't know what he's giving).

25: Who needs more assurance?

Oh, I definitely think Arthur does. Although, I do think they both need a lot of assurance due to that trauma ahaha. I would explain more but I feel that this is already way too long and I'm not sure you care about the nitty gritty details so lets just move on from that ahha.

28: What do they do when they're away from each other?

They try to get something done.

Literally, anything to keep their minds off of each other, they do. Arthur looks through official documents and signs papers, he attends council meetings and listens to his arguing council members, he trains with his loyal knights who understand that he's missing a certain blue-eyed warlock (not that Arthur would ever mention this) and they would try to mess with him more, distract him more, but eventually would stop when this would make him think even more of Merlin.

With Merlin, he would visit his mother or talk with the druids or learn about magic but his magic wouldn't be as strong as it usually was, his smiles would be less wide, more strained.

There would be nights when he would visit his mother and she would notice his sadness and she would tell him to go back to him because even though on the outside these two can function without each other, their souls are connected and their destinies are connected and a half cannot truly be away from the person that makes them whole.

And so they try and they are successful to some degree -- they can function without each other, they've done it before back when they didn't know one another -- but they're also not as strong, not as balanced, not as powerful when they are not together.

"Hey babe, can you hand me that brush?" Seoho asks but the question just goes through you as you focus on his beautiful hands, putting more pigment onto your page.

You keep pestering him until he yelps from you pulling his arm hair

"Pastel. now." You point at it and hold your hand out. He reaches down and licks it, immediately regretting it. He gets up from his chair and runs to the work sink, putting his mouth under the faucet.

You take this opportunity to grab the pastel, resuming your shading. "Can you come sit back down, i need to see if i should add something else."

He comes back over, sitting down and resuming his painting this time with a sour look on his face.

"Why are you even drawing my hands?" He gives you one of his hands, painting with the other.

"It's for school. What's it to you?" He pulls his hand back. "Well it is attached to me, so pretty it's important."

You scrunch your nose at him. "Why are you painting me?" He cracks a smile as he looks at his reference photo of you, nearly naked, only a translucent sheet covering you.

He thinks back to when he had Xion photograph you. He was so flustered and didn't know if he was being respectful towards the both of you, A fond memory in his eyes

"What's it to you?" He mocks your words, grinning wider as you smack his arm.

"I don't know what i'm going to do with it it when i'm done, i just wanted to paint you." He looks at you and kisses you lightly as he cups your face, getting paint on it.

You stand up to go rinse it off when he stops you by holding your hand. "Leave it, it's cute."

You sit back down and continue to do oil sketches of different parts of Seoho as he works on his painting.

You begin to loose yourself in your art, being pulled back out by said man.

"Your art is beautiful, but you need to take a break and eat something." He puts down a cheese, meat and fruit platter that you didn't realize he had gone to make.

You reluctantly put down your sketch book, knowing Seoho would make you eat one way or another.

The two of you talk about nonsense, mainly upcoming art projects and wish lists for what supplies you two would like in the studio.

The bell at the front of the studio sounds, making Seoho get up from his spot, allowing you to finish your slice of cheese and get back to your work.

You decide to make a piece with your own hand as a model, seeing as your favorite model was busy with his art shop. Not only was he a very talented artist, he made most of his living by restoring paintings, sometimes taking art commissions himself.

That's how you met Seoho, restoring paintings.

Your art class was learning about restoring paintings. The teacher had Seoho come in to teach a thing or two, as he was one of the most pleasing graduates from the college three years prior. He had taking a liking to you, paying more attention to your work throughout the week as he was teaching your class.

When he was getting ready to leave he had told you to stay behind, that was when he gave you his number to meet up for lunch sometime. A year has passed since then and you agree that was one of the best moves you've made.

A set of hands rubbing your shoulders alerts you to Seoho's presence.

"Do you have a new piece to work on?" You ask reluctantly, knowing he would ask you to leave the studio and back into the house, he had a thing for people not being around for the restoring process.

"No, Hwanwoong and Xion have to do another photo shoot for their major. Hwanwoong wants me to do a painting on you. Is that okay?" A spark sets off in your eyes, you whip around.

"Really?" You grab his hands in excitement, already pulling him off to the supply's

"I'm going to take that as a yes then." He laughs at you as you pull out the body paints.

"I don't know what i'm going to paint on you yet. Will you wait until i get a sketch down?" The sparkle in your eyes dim, allowing him to grab one of his many sketch pads.

He beckons you closer with his finger. He pulls you closer to him sitting at his drafting table, wrapping his arms around your waist and giving you a long kiss to the lips.

"Do me a favor baby girl and go take a shower. The paint will stick better." You smile down on him. Giving him another kiss before slowly detaching yourself from him.

"I won't be long."

You quickly bounce inside his house that is attached to the shop, making your way to your shared bathroom.

In the shower, you take care to shave off your body hair, knowing it would show up on the camera's and make Seoho's work look messy.

When you get back to the studio, this time in a robe and with your hair in dutch braids, Seoho is setting up the air brush and brushes. You hug him from behind, slightly startling him.

"Do you want to set over there?" Seoho points to the stool now on a tarp, ready to catch any of the paint.

He walks back over to you, helping you remove your robe and applying the pasties for you, making you shiver at his cold touches.

"So are the boys still here?" You distract yourself from how gorgeous he looks while working.

"No, they went out for lunch. I told them i would call when i'm done painting. I don't think Xion would want to see you half naked again." He smiles at the last part.

"Wont he see have to see me half naked when he takes the photos?" The coldness of the primer makes you flinch.

"Yea, but he thinks the paint will make a difference. Hwan would probably enjoy it though." You both laugh at the Casanova of a friend.

You both fall into somewhat of silence, listening to the music that plays, and watching the older man as he focuses of the painting.

It's amazing to you how he could look so attractive while hair slightly covers his eyes.

He looks up to you, sharing your gaze until you blush hard and look away.

"You act like this is the first time i'm seeing your body like this." He brushes a dark purple color along your rib cage, sending goose bumps across your skin, not unnoticed by Seoho who only smirks.

You find yourself biting your lip more often, occasionally humming along to the songs that seem to only edge the uneasy feeling between your legs. Seoho doesn't help either by steadying his beautiful hands by laying them against your skin.

do you have a crush on anyone? - I do indeed, and I am fairly certain they are well aware of it ;)

what’s your favorite candy? - It changes all the time because I have such a sweet tooth but right now chocolate-wise it’s probably cadbury or kinder chocolate, and actual candy probably haribo (tangfastics to be precise)

favorite love song? - There are too many to choose from or list here but right now it’s probably still ‘Wasteland Baby’ by Hozier, You Are In Love by Taylor Swift, or for entirely cheesy reasons a certain someone might know Hero by Enrique Iglesias

dinner dates or brunch dates? - This one was tough because I don’t really have any experience with either, but I think Brunch dates, and not just because I would have much much less anxiety about awkward food ordering and stuff, plus I feel like Brunch dates have much less formal expectation about them, and you have the rest of the day after to do more things if you want to!

favorite perfume/cologne?  - Probably the Ghost one that has a bottle shaped like the moon, or Good Girl by Caroline Herrera (the bottle looks like a high heel?)

favorite candle scent? - There’s a seasonal Yankee Candle one they do around Christmas time that I cannot remember the name of for the life of me right now, but it’s just the right kind of sweetness in the air when you have it burning for a lil while? snow, rain, or sun? -  I love all three for different reasons (I’m indecisive, don’t judge me, or do) give me a snow day with my dog or my lover with hot chocolate and snowmen and flurries out the window, or an afternoon reading inside while it rains with blankets and a cup of tea, or a sunny afternoon walk with just the right amount of cool breeze to keep it balmy but bright? sweetest romantic memory? - My partner at the time took me to a second-hand bookshop and let me browse the stacked shelves as long as I liked, and I found a hardback copy of a book by a fave author but it was too expensive so just admired it and put it back, then when my birthday rolled around 2 weeks later, they turned up with that same book they had gone back for without telling me as a surprise gift

what’s your dream wedding like? - This would need a whole post on its own to answer if I could actually be decisive and sit down with some thought over it. But alas... You’ve both been dealt shitty hands, but you’d be willing to share each others cards to get through, and some other cheesy af analogies...

denim jackets, leather jackets, or bomber jackets? - Leather jackets, tho technically I have worn and do wear all three so - I hoard jackets like some people hoard shoes and handbags, it’s a problem

do you prefer to charm, or be charmed? - Both? I love to see the look on a partners face when they’re charmed, all blushing and cute and sparkly eyes and big smiles - I think I like to be charmed too but I would also get suuuuper awkward and not sure what to do with it or in response to it because I’m not used to being on the receiving end of attention like that?

guitar or piano? - I love both, and girls who can play either/both are heavensent sirens who can have me under their spell for hours (I think it’s the hand thing again, see?) but if I had to choose it would have to be Piano.

Or Imagine Me And You - I’m not big on too many ‘traditional’ rom-coms because they make me cringe way too often, and often not in a good way, but there’s sometimes the odd one I enjoy! (Though I must admit, being British, Bridget Jones and Love Actually are like, historical treasures so...)

do you fall in love easily? - Nope. I mean, do I love people easily? Yeah I try to give the best of myself to the people I cherish as much as possible. But do I *fall in love* easily? Nah, takes a while before this oblivious lil heart realises it.

would you prefer to propose or be proposed to? what’s your dream proposal? - Oh gosh, honestly, I don’t know... I’m one of those people that *love* to do anything and everything to bring a smile to my partner’s face and make them happy and there’s just something so magical about seeing their face light up and their eyes sparkle, y’know? So I feel like I would want to do that by giving them the perfect proposal for them (but on the flipside this means I would also be incredibly *terrified* of ever doing it remotely wrong/not exactly how they wanted it, or getting the wrong kind of ring or all of that plethora of details and minutiae that could be messed up ahha). But also, I kinda wouldn’t mind being proposed to either? Like I’m so used to taking care of other people, it might be nice, at the risk of sounding like a bad pokemon promo. to have that validation of someone else saying ‘I choose you’ y’know? As for dream proposal, much like dream wedding, I’m not entirely sure? As long as it’s memorable and with the one I love? Somewhere picturesque I guess?
