9. Best month for you this year? :C so like - I have had a lot of good things happen this year but also several - high intensity bad things spread out between them such that it is hard to pick a month as a Good One, and then - in September - :( :( :(

There's been a lot of good things about December - have had a lot of important good things happen to me, feel very loved and supported, had space to grieve and support to do that, so part of me wants to choose that?

But also - it feels - just so totally wrong - to say that the best month was one of the ones after - I found my friend's dead body and her suicide note. Like. How could it. How could that ever be right. How could the best month of the year one in which - I live in the world where she's gone -

- and I know I can't let that be true forever, I know that wouldn't be healthy or good for me, I know she wouldn't have wanted that, but - it feels true now. :c

The guy doesn't really have a romantic subplot, but does that even matter here tbh. Let's take a perspective of an hypothetical lover.

Dai Shankou can make everything happen. He has an amazing memory and can pull the right strings at any time. It pains that he can't do that for himself – he lacks confidence in his own ideas. The way he cares about people is harsh yet unchanging, reminding of a solid rock. Everything about him is stable. His morals are clear, his interests don't die and his love never fades.
