20: What-ifs/Alternate Timelines

I usually don’t really wade too deep into these on any toon. It’s not even like personal preference or anything they just never much interested me. However it’s always fun to kick around some what-ifs from time to time- if anything to further your understanding about those thoughts (my characters certainly have ^.^).When I was dooping around in BfA beta I made a mage version of Korri at first since demon hunters weren’t available. Technically I made a pally Korri first but that didn’t sit well with me so I went with mage. It made more sense for her character.It did inspire some thoughts to how she would be if she never took the path of a demon hunter. I’d have probably kept the rest, the tragedy and heartbreak that made her jaded and sad. But the whole Illidari thing wasn’t entirely necessary to telling her story. It’s actually, in canon, something she thinks she made a mistake in doing. Thus thinking about her in full mage mode, able to wield the arcane and still having access to study her passion? It would make her life exceedingly better, but what fun’s that ;) plus I sort of love demon hunters.Thanks @sorielblackfeather !

🎲 - who’s your favorite blog to interact with?

There’s many blogs I adore interacting with, so it’s hard picking just one. Three Characters

Reblog with 3 GIFs of fictional characters you most associate with your OC.

Saber from Fate Stay Night - simply her aesthetic and vigilance is enough to portray what I envision for the Commander. Especially being armored often and cold.

Erza from Fairy Tail is another character I easily associate with the Commander. Kind of the bad ass - who makes sure her teammates are in check. Very leader driven in the show - and compassionate about those she protects.

This last one is a bit iffy, but Relena Peacecraft from Gundam Wing. She aspires for peace to be achieved between the space colonies and earth. And for people to stop fighting, even though it seems to happen. Her father was killed at the very beginning of the series and she is often a key figure in the negotiations between the people and their governments. But I yearn for the Commander to find a means to establish peace with herself and others before she attempts that can of worms.

12. Name an OC that isn't yours but who you like a lot

I really really really really really really really dislike making lists like this. I mean, not that it’s ever intended to bring people down, but I feel like a lot of people who respect me and my opinion will scroll past this and wonder why their OC’s aren’t on the list. I’m not in the business of inadvertently making people feel bad or unworthy or anything of the sort. (Not that I think that was you intent by sending this, either, I just wanted to clarify xD)

Sandellis is a very special character. He gives Solarian so many feelings, and there’s a few songs that make me think of him:

I See You by Missio: Sandellis is blind, but was the first person to really notice Solarian is much more than he seems and “see” him in a metaphorical sense.

Wax Simulacra by Mars Volta: There’s a duality in Sandellis between the person he used to be pre-Illidari and who he is now. Some of those things still shake him “by the roots” as it were, but he’s doing his best.

3. are they good at comforting someone ill? God no lol, she has her moments when it comes to being sweet or caring. But it’s really not a skill she mastered, a lot of her social skills (or lack there of) came after she grew some horns. Her version of comforting someone sick is being like ‘tell me what I have to do to fix you’ and trying to abide to that. But as far as being spontaneous or nurturing? Wrong girl.4. what do they like as far as comfort goes?Uhhhm, she’s gotten pretty good at self comforting, and usually tries to shy away from someone trying to comfort her. Which is counter productive because when she’s down she likes closeness or interaction, even just as a distraction. But she’ll more often then not try and find a quiet place to mute her thoughts. A good book and some solicitude is the go-to, even if there are better ways to comfort herself. Food also helps a lot.Thanks @sorielblackfeather !

If your character was suddenly challenged, would they rather run away or stay and fight?

She wouldn’t back down from a fight unless she knows she’s about to lose, plus then she would stay unless it is a fight that would kill her and only then would she run.  She has a strong sense of self preservation and doesn’t actually want to die, but she also has quite a bit of a respect for honorable combat.

The first person to come to mind is @tanefrun. Tanefrun in general is a lovely character, but the mun is also a thoughtful sweetheart. I adore reading their stories, as the mun balances between complexity and innocence beautifully. Wherever Tanefrun’s story goes, it’s going to be wonderfully seeing where things go.
