In 1704 he was appointed organist and chapel master of the Neue Kirche. In 1705 he entered the court service of Count Erdmann Von Promnitz, who resided in Sorau where he wrote about two hundred French overtures for the court musical chapel. From Sorau he moved, accompanying the court, to Pless, Upper Silesia and Kraków, where he became acquainted with Polish popular music. In 1706 he returned to Germany, moving to the city of Eisenach, the center of German music, where he was appointed director of concerts and headmaster. There Telemann wrote a large number of profane cantatas and instrumental works, especially trio sonatas, also starting to compose religious cantatas. In 1712, he left court service for other artistic duties in Frankfurt. He was hired to direct the music in two churches: Barfüsser and Santa Catarina. As secretary of the Frauenstein Society, he reorganized the Collegium Musicum according to his ideas and, in the following year, presented numerous instrumental pieces. Despite the magnificent position he had in Frankfurt, he moved to Hamburg in 1715. In 1722 he began directing the Hamburg Opera, which was in crisis, and managed to enliven the musical life of this city, allowing access to all citizens (and not just nobles) to concerts, upon payment of an entrance fee. In 1737 he moved to Paris, where he lived for eight months, because “it is in Paris that artists find consecration, not only French people, but also foreigners find glory or fulmination there. A musician would only be a musician if he had his apotheosis in Paris. Not even Mozart escapes this stigma” (Didier, p. 339). Telemann finds his international acclaim there. Avevo proprio bisogno di un horror come si deve. Con tutti i libri di narrativa che sto leggendo, avevo proprio paura di rammollirmi. E io amo la paura. Mi rende gioiosa e sopratutto accorta, con occhi aperti e vigili su una realtà a volte più spaventosa dello stesso libro. In questo caso si tratta di un racconto. Bellissimo, poetico e perfetto. Forse troppo corto per me che avrei voluto…

I had a similar headcanon for a sec. That my consular JUST found out she got knocked up by accident. But then I trashed it because I still hope for an Arcann romance and I regret caving in kotfe when I had her start the Theron one

This was not a surprise knocked up thing in my headcanon, this was very much talked about and planned for, the entirety of KOTFE/KOTET dredged up a lot of Tallia’s own family issues which made her decide she was finally ready to move on and wholly embrace the new family she’d made which was like 99% of the reason she chose to ally with the Republic. 

I made Rowan as a potential kid they MIGHT have but then loved the character too much to ever scrap her and decided shortly after making her (which was like a year and a half ago) that she’d be born probably about a year after whenever they would kill Vitiate/Valkorion since I couldn’t see any reason why Tallia would want to get pregnant while there was still a ghost in her brain. 

And  post KOTET was the perfect time for her to plan this all too; relative peace and stability, they’d just won the fight against the monster they’d been raging against for over a thousand years, Theron ALMOST had a personality in the later chapters of KOTET, it was perfect!

So I figured in Iokath Tallia would be recently pregnant with Rowan. 

And then this happened.

And now I know that if Rowan ain’t born now she’ll never exist but I love that disaster child so Tallia’s gonna keep the baby while downing blood pressure medication and trying to think calming thoughts while eating a trashbag full of mashed potatoes to fill the emptiness inside because she can’t drink now because pregnant.

20.6.18 What a day ! ! ! 232km gefahren, die im Vergleich zu den vorherigen Tagen eher zum Strecke machen genutzt wurden. Quer durch Polen führte uns unser Weg nach Zary (früher Sorau). Warum? Wir wolten uns ein Haus ansehen, welches früher mal im Familienbesitz (Großeltern, mütterlicher seits) war, aber aufgrund von Flucht zurückgelassen wurde. Damals in Deutschland liegend gab es deutsche Straßennamen, aber heute sind alle Straßennamen in polnischer Sprache. Ein im Vorfeld erworbener Stadtplan von 1933 ermöglichte uns die Lage ausfindig zu machen. Ein Foto von damals existiert und somit konnten wir das Haus auch identifizieren. Früher: Sorau, Friedrichstr. 4a = Zary, 1 Maja: Heute.

Lower Lusatia  (German: Niederlausitz; Lower Sorbian: Dolna Łužyca, Polish: Łużyce Dolne; Czech: Dolní Lužice) is a historical region in Central Europe, stretching from the southeast of the German state of Brandenburg to the southwest of Lubusz Voivodeship in Poland. Like adjacent Upper Lusatia in the south, Lower Lusatia is a settlement area of the West Slavic Sorbs whose endangered Lower Sorbian language is related to Upper Sorbian and Polish.
