you know how in Kotlc whenever something dramatic happens or they are planning a plan to counteract the Neverseeens' plan but their plan plays right into the Neverseen's trap, (sorry, slight ramble don't mind me)

it always says smth along the lines of "a few hours later, Sophie was joined in the living room at Havenfeild by Fitz, Keefe, forkle, Biana, dex, AND THEN IT PROCEEDS TO LIST EVERY MAIN CHARACTER, THE ENTIRE BLACK SWAN, ALL 12 COUNCILLORS (SOME OF WHOM WE BARELY EVEN KNOW THEIR NAME) AND POSSIBLY THE ALICORNS, EVERY SINGLE MAIN CHARACTER'S PARENT, AND PERHAPS A HOSTAGE MEMBER OF THE NEVERSEEN TOO?

just throwing it out there, but maybe she should just say "every person Sophie knew" once in a while.

It is finally time that I can reveal to you some character portraits I've been working on for the lovely author Shannon Messenger for her series, Keepers of the Lost Cities. Both Shannon and I worked really hard for many months to try and do them justice and make sure they felt right! I hope you like how they turned out!

what if Ro dies in book 10. She dies for Keefe because that is her job.

If Shannon doesn't kill off a major protagonist, I'll be disappointed. Not because I want anyone to die, it's just so heart-wrenchingly painful that I think she would do it. After all, we've all read her cliffhangers.....

Can we talk about the fact that Sophie didn't have a crush on Fitz anymore after the fourth book, maybe even the SECOND book??? She honestly seemed kind of bored with him for most of the series, that or annoyed, and more times than not, scared. But the initial crush died off pretty quickly. She still got flutters, and blushes, but she doesn't have an actual crush on him anymore. And it didn't seem real when ever she and Fitz had a moment, like she was trying to convince herself that she had a crush on him? She's had more fluttery and blushing moments with keefe than with Fitz. I'm not trying to convince anyone to be sokeefe ( even though their canon now.) This is just something I noticed during my reread and I needed to get it out.

Sophie doesn't have real feeling for Fitz anymore and hasn't for a long time.
