idk, but I think in the benophie season of the show, i would want less and less physical intimacy, just like how it was in the books

I want sophie to reject benedict physically so many times, that he goes back to think of how every other relationship he has ever had, in which he thought he was in love because the physical intimacy was good, was actually not love, because he would realise that no matter how much sophie rejects him (and he knows she does it not because she doesn't wants to, but because she thinks she has no other choice) he would want her and only her. I want him to crave her touch.

I want benedict bridgerton literally roaming around sophie as if his entire existence belongs to her and matters only if she is around, and him to realise how hard he has fallen in love with a woman who doesn't think herself worthy of someone in his position

I want benedict to erase sophie's fear of falling in love with him because she is the reason he has been able to fight that fear himself. I want benedict to hold sophie like she is so important to him, as if he would rather d!e than let her or her hopes down .. idk if people understand this, but it is very important for me

It's frustrating when people argue that Benedict asking Sophie to be his mistress is a bad plot point that should be removed. If we take that moment out, we lose the significant character growth he experiences. Benedict, having been raised in the ton, inevitably internalized some of its values and ethics, even if he holds different ideals. Given the constraints of society, the best option he saw to protect Sophie was by making her his mistress. Marrying her would have meant a lifetime of scrutiny and exclusion for her, something the ton would never let her forget.

Yes, he did consider marrying the "lady in silver" because she was part of the ton, but it's important to remember that Sophie and the lady in silver were the only two women he ever seriously thought about marrying.

Benedict’s character development is key here. He transitions from believing that making Sophie his mistress was the only way to keep her safe to publicly declaring her as his fiancée in front of the magistrate. That powerful growth wouldn’t exist without the mistakes he made early on.

By removing Benedict's mistakes, we'd strip him of his complexity, making him a far less interesting character. His internal battles shape him into someone strong enough to stand by the woman he loves, despite societal pressures.

I think this has been said before but allow me to reiterate how much I really want them to keep that moment when Benedict asks Penelope to dance, only to completely ditch her in almost the same breath because Sophie walked in the door, leaving Colin to swoop in and dance with Penelope instead. Please with the story out of order it's actually way funnier because you KNOW Colin would be so indignant on his wife's behalf. But also Show Colin is, IMHO, a waaayyy bigger gossip fiend than Book Colin, so he would also get very invested in Benedict's Cinderella story.
