pairing : sophialaforteza x brothersbff!reader
synopsis : sophia laforteza spent years convincing herself that whatever she felt for you was just a childhood crush. something she buried the day you left. but then you came back, slipping into her life like you never left at all.
a/n : i wrote more than this lol. this is like the intro ig they in for a ride😛😛. and i js realised i named the guy alex cs i was reading mammamia by @/cinnamanz shout out to bro for making that masterpeice and im sowy 😔. btw making a dani christmas fic idc if its not chrisms im making it vro 💔
when sophia was nine, she was an absolute menace. not in a cool, rebellious way. more like the annoying little sister who wouldn't take a hint. she knew it. her brother knew it. his friends definitely knew it.
but not to you.
during one instance in summer and you all spent your days biking around the neighborhood, playing ding-dong ditch like a bunch of reckless kids with nothing better to do, she insisted on joining in.
her brother had scoffed, “sophie, you suck at this game. you’ll get caught in two seconds.”
she had pouted, “no i won’t.”
the others laughed,”no just stay on your bike.” one of them said. but you just grinned and shrugged, “let her try.” you dismissed them and there’s audible groaning from the group of boys.
and just like that, she had your approval. that was all she needed. she beamed at you. she knew the basic rules of ding dong ditch. ring the doorbell, pedal like hell, don’t get caught. easy. but when it was her turn, nothing went easy at all.
her heart pounded as she sprinted up the porch, her small fingers trembling on the doorbell. the chime echoed in her ears, and as soon as she hit it, she spun on her heel, ready to run. but her foot caught on the edge of the step and in an instant, she was falling.
the pavement met her with a rough scrape, and her knees burned from the impact. a sharp sting shot through her, but the rising panic in her chest drowned out every other sensation.
the porch light flicked on.
her stomach dropped.
she scrambled to her feet, but she was too slow. her brother and his friends had already melted into the shadows, their bikes disappearing into the distance. and there she was, left alone, frozen on the pavement with a bloody knee as the front door creaked open.
she was so dead.
but then, out of the dim light, you appeared.
she barely had time to register before you stepped in front of her, leaning casually against the porch railing like it was no big deal. your expression was calm, as if she didn’t just screw up infront of you.
“sorry, sir,” you said smoothly as the old man peered at you from inside. “wrong house. thought this was my friend’s place.”
sophia’s eyes widened. the man grumbled something about “kids these days” before retreating inside, closing the door behind him with a final thud. the moment the door clicked shut, you reached out and grabbed her wrist, gently yanking her up onto her bike.
“let’s go, sophie.”
she didn’t resist, she simply followed, her legs pumping furiously even as the pain in her scraped knees nagged at her. her heart wasn’t just racing from fear. it was racing because you had come back for her. you turned back and didn’t leave her there. Helpless.
sophia was raging with disappointment and also something else as she pedaled the bike. Her gaze landing on your back pedalling down the neighborhood. when you finally regrouped with the others, her brother was already laughing.
“sophie can’t even ditch properly” “you didn’t even try” “sophie just stay on your bike quietly next time”
sophia’s face flushed, and she hugged her arms to herself as embarrassment and shame mingled into a burning heat along her neck. she wished she could just vanish. then you sighed, cutting through the teasing.
“oh, come on,” you said, your voice gentle yet firm. “she tried her best. cut her some slack. she actually has a conscience. not all of us enjoy terrorizing innocent neighbors.”
sophia blinked, her eyes darting from you to the sneering faces around her. the others groaned and rolled their eyes, but in that moment, she couldn’t care less. all she felt was the overwhelming throb of her heart and a strange, warm flutter deep inside her chest.
the ride back to her house felt different. as you pedaled side by side, she kept sneaking glances at you watching how your hair caught the light in the wind, the slight parting of your lips as you focused on the road. you looked so effortlessly cool, so completely unbothered by everything.
by the time you reached her driveway, the sting in her knees had become a dull ache that reminded her of every fall she’d ever taken. she hopped off her bike and winced, trying to mask the pain.
“hey,” you said, noticing immediately as you slowed down, everyone already left while you stayed behind to ask. “you okay?”
she forced a smile, shrugging off the concern. “yeah, i’m fine.”
but you knew better. you knelt down in front of her, tilting your head as you inspected the scrape on her knee. a messy ribbon of dirt and dried blood tracing along her skin.
“that’s not fine,” you murmured.
before she could protest, you rushed inside dampening a paper towel. when you got back out sophia was sitting on the stairs. “this might sting a bit,” you warned as you knelt in front of her. she braced herself as you gently dabbed at the wound. a sharp hiss of pain escaped her lips, and you couldn’t help but smirk softly.
“baby,” you teased, though there was genuine care in your tone.
her face flushed deeper, and she mumbled, “i’m not.”
“whatever you say,” you replied with a light chuckle, fishing out a band aid out your pocket then pressing the band-aid over the scrape and smoothing it down with careful, deliberate strokes. “there. good as new.”
she stared at her knee, then at you, her wide eyes searching your face.
“what?” you asked, raising an eyebrow.
she shook her head quickly, turning away as if to hide her vulnerability. “nothing.”but it wasn’t nothing. in that tender moment, as she tried to mask her pain and embarrassment, she felt something shift inside her, an undeniable spark that made her heart beat faster. nine-year-old sophia laforteza was completely, hopelessly in love, even if she didn’t fully understand it yet.
Tumblr media
sophia still remembers the day you left. it had been a summer afternoon, thick with the smell of cut grass and the distant hum of cicadas. you stood on her driveway, kicking at a stray rock while her brother complained about you moving away, arms crossed like his sulking could somehow convince you to stay.
but sophia? she just stood there, gripping the hem of her shirt so tightly that her knuckles turned white. she wanted to say something. anything. but all she could do was stare at the ground and swallow around the lump in her throat.
you had crouched down in front of her, tapping a knuckle under her chin to make her look up. “hey,” you had said, smiling softly, “don’t look so sad. i’ll visit. it’s not like i’m disappearing off the face of the earth.”
but you did disappear.
there were a few texts at first. pictures of your new neighborhood, jokes she barely understood, casual check-ins. but then middle school started, life got busier, and slowly, inevitably, the messages faded.
before she knew it, you became a memory. a childhood chapter she tucked away, rereading only when nostalgia hit late at night. she convinced herself that whatever she felt back then. that stupid, childish crush was gone.
until one fateful day it all came back. sophia wasn’t expecting her day to be anything special. she was walking down the hallway with her friends, disappointed with her grades on the recent exams, when she saw you.
leaning against a row of lockers, casually talking to her brother like you had never left, like you hadn’t been gone for years. her feet stopped before she even realized it.
“what—”
“no way,” she whispered, heart hammering against her ribs.
you looked different. taller, sharper around the edges. your uniform slightly rumpled, hair messier than she remembered. but the moment you smiled. that same easy, lopsided grin. she felt something inside her lurch violently back to life.
she barely had time to process before you looked up. and the second your eyes found hers, your whole face lit up.
“soph?”
you pushed off the lockers, taking easy strides toward her. laughing. it hit her harder than she thought possible because it was the same.
the world narrowed to just you.
the second your voice cut through the noise warm, familiar, so casually affectionate. it sent a violent jolt down her spine.
“holy shit,” you grinned, stepping forward like this was the most natural thing in the world. “come here, baby.”
baby?
the word crashed into her, loud and deafening, like someone had just rung a bell directly in her skull.
because, god, it had been years since she’d last heard you call her that. since she had been the baby of your little group. the youngest, the smallest, the one trailing behind while you stayed with her and her brother ran ahead.
back then, she hated it.
“i’m not a baby!” nine-year-old sophia had whined, stomping her foot.
but you had only laughed, ruffling her hair and calling her baby anyway, and for some reason. it  sounded different coming from you.
so she never told you to stop and now she’s facing the consequences.
her body froze, breath caught somewhere between her lungs and throat. her friends barely had time to react before your arms wrapped around her, pulling her in.
the warmth of you hit her all at once. solid, grounding, impossibly real. she felt everything. the way your chin brushed the side of her head, the slow rise and fall of your chest, the way you smelled exactly how she remembered.
her hands hovered mid-air, uncertain, but her body betrayed her. before she could think, she was gripping the back of your blazer, her fingers curling into the fabric like she needed to anchor herself. because if she let go, if she even moved too fast, she was terrified she’d wake up and this would all be some elaborate, messed-up dream.
her friends were losing their minds behind her. manon’s choked gasp. megan’s loud, “oh, what the fu—” lara grabbing her arm, shaking her violently.
but sophia couldn’t focus on any of it.
because your arms tightened around her just slightly, a slow, lingering squeeze before you pulled back just enough to look at her, hands shifting from her back to her shoulders. your eyes flickered over her face, scanning, like you were checking to see if she was still the same girl from all those years ago.
she didn’t dare move. barely dared to breathe. and then, just like before, just like always, your hand lifted. before she could react, you were ruffling her hair, laughing. “you got taller.”
sophia sucked in a sharp breath.
it wasn’t fair.
how easily you fit right back into place, like you had never left. how you could just stand here, completely unaware of the way her heart had just thrown itself against the bars of her ribs like it was desperate to escape.
she scowled, nose scrunching as she smacked your hand away, even as heat crawled up her neck. “and you got uglier.”
you only laughed, unbothered.
her stomach flipped.
you pouted, tilting your head, teasing. “aren’t you excited? your favorite person is back in town permanently now.”
her favorite person. that's what youve always been. she has a feeling it’s going to stay that way for a long time. she scoffed, rolling her eyes like it didn’t affect her. like you didn’t affect her. “you wish.”
you gasped, pressing a hand to your chest, dramatic as always. “you’re so mean to me.”
“you deserve it.” she grumbled, crossing her arms.
before you could say anything else, another voice cut in.
“wait, hold on—”
manon was staring at her like she had just witnessed the moon landing. her eyes darted between the two of you, a grin way too knowing stretching across her face. “is this the cutie you used to talk about when—”
oh, absolutely the hell not.
“okay, we’re leaving.” sophia grabbed her wrist and dragged her away before she could finish that sentence. “oh, come on!” manon whined. behind her, megan and lara were already snickering.
“wait” lara grinned, “so that was y/n?”
lara finally asked after sophia had dragged them to a more secluded space. sophia glared ahead, jaw locked. “no idea what you’re talking about.”
megan lifted an eyebrow, arms crossed. “liar. your ears are so red”
sophia groaned, picking up the pace, yanking them along with her. the teasing turned into background noise, but the weight of it all settled onto her chest.
you were back. after years of being gone. after she thought she had finally let go of whatever childish feelings she had for you.
except now, she wasn’t a kid anymore, and neither were you. but the way you had smiled at her. so easily, so effortlessly. like nothing had changed. her stomach twisted.
she clenched her jaw and shoved it all down, deep, where it couldn’t reach her.
it didn’t mean anything.
she wasn’t nine anymore.
and she wasn’t going to let you get to her again.
Tumblr media
the second tragedy of sophia’s day was sitting at her dinner table. the first, of course, was the fact that she had spent the entire afternoon thinking about you returning like you never left.
which meant she had gotten absolutely nothing done.
calculus? a lost cause. chemistry? an afterthought. all she could do was replay every second of seeing you again. every teasing grin, every laugh, the way you looked at her the same with a little something she couldn’t pinpoint.
and now, as she stood frozen in the doorway, her stomach plummeted.
because there you were. in her house. sitting comfortably at the dinner table, chatting with her dad like you weren’t the reason she had stared blankly at her notes for hours.
“sophia, honey, welcome home,” her mom’s voice cut through her panic. “come sit next to y/n.”
her heart actually stopped. because, of course, there was an empty seat right next to you.
perfect. just what she needed. another excruciatingly painful evening of trying to act normal around you.
she took a breath, squared her shoulders, and willed herself to move. you looked up as she approached, and there it was again. that smile. the one that had derailed her entire day.
“hey, soph,” you greeted, warm and easy, like it was completely normal for you to be here, in her house, in her life again.
she swallowed, nodding stiffly before sliding into the seat beside you. you nudged her lightly with your elbow. “long day?”
sophia forced herself to breathe. “yeah.”
“extra classes?”
“yeah.”
you hummed, picking at your food. “what’s got you stuck this time?”
“calculus.”
“oof,” you winced
her mom perked up at that, setting down her chopsticks. “oh! y/n could help you with that.”
sophia froze.
you? helping her? absolutely not.
“she’s been acing her ap calculus class,” her mom continued, beaming. “it’s perfect!”
sophia clenched her jaw. of course you did. you were always a natural at things you didn’t even try for. meanwhile, she had been drowning in numbers for weeks, getting nowhere.
“maybe you should let y/n tutor you,” her mom added, smiling like she hadn’t just ruined sophia’s life.
great. fantastic. because the one thing she needed less than anything in the world was to spend even more time with you.
“no thanks,” sophia muttered, stabbing at her food.
you gasped dramatically, hand over your heart. “wow. you wound me, baby.”
sophia choked.
her fork slipped from her fingers. she did not just hear that. you did not just say that. again.
she whipped her head toward you, eyes wide, betrayed. but you just grinned at her, all shameless and teasing, like you hadn’t just sent her into a full-blown internal crisis.
and worst of all? no one else at the table even reacted. her parents just kept eating, like this was completely normal.
like this wasn’t the most earth-shattering moment of her life. her grip tightened around her fork, heat crawling up her neck. “don’t call me that.”
you blinked, tilting your head. “what? baby?”
oh my god.
she kicked you under the table. hard. you yelped, nearly dropping your spoon. “hey!”
she scowled at you, but you were still smiling. that same stupid grin, like you knew exactly what you were doing to her.
“take the tutoring, soph,” her brother chimed in. “god knows you need it.”
sophia turned even redder. “this is none of your business!”
he shrugged. “what? your last test score was—”
“okay! fine!” she snapped, fists clenched. she turned to you, glaring. “you. library. tomorrow. after school. no funny business.”
you raised your hands in surrender, grinning. “scout’s honor.” she narrowed her eyes, warning you one last time before turning back to her food mumbling about you being a weirdo.
Tumblr media
it has been a week tutoring and sophia convinced it was torture. she had to always keep herself in check and try to not look to stupid infront of you. but what made it worse is you’re so understanding.
its frustrating.
you never made her feel dumb, never handed her the answers outright. instead, you guided her, nudged her toward figuring things out herself. you’d lean closer always too close. tapping the edge of her notebook as you encouraged her to think it through.
and it worked.
somehow, against all odds, she had started understanding calculus. started answering questions in class, participating.
even her friends had noticed.
“no lara …ive had tutoring.”
“what you need to set me up soph, im drowning”
sophia only rolled her eyes and left class with lara calling out for her.
other than the improvement in her attitude during class, sophia absolutely loathed when you tucked her hair behind her ear so you could see her work.
hated the way it happened so effortlessly, like it was something you did without thinking. like it was just natural to reach over, brush your fingers against her skin, and push those stubborn strands back.
her entire body locking up as she tried desperately to keep her expression neutral, to not let you see just how stupidly, embarrassingly affected she was. hated how it made her feel unsteady.
it made her wonder if you had always done this, if she had just been too young, too naive to notice how close you always were, how easy it was for you to slip into her space like you belonged there.
and when your fingers brushed her skin, when you leaned in slightly she could smell that familiar scent of yours, the one that had embedded itself into her memories. she refused to acknowledge the way her heart kicked against her ribs just like she did last time.
she has grown out of it. so she would force herself to react the only way she knew how. with annoyance. with a sharp, “can you not?” or a dramatic sigh as she swatted your hand away.
rolling her eyes as if that would somehow erase the fact that her face was burning. but it never worked. because you’d just laugh it off completely unbothered. and go right back to helping her like you hadn’t just made her feel butterflies.
whats worse is youd be all sweet after, and treating her to something like boba, ice cream or whatever. just because.
“bubble tea?” she had a problem of never saying no to you. pathetic. she thought to herself. but a small voice in her head was thrilled that you asked.  she convinced herself it was the after effects of calculus.
Tumblr media
the night was windy. the silence was deafening but also comforting to sophia. she could hear barking in the distance that reminded her of her own dogs and how she was going to be with them after.
you and sophia walked side by side. the quiet was only broken when you asked, casually, like it was just another thought that had floated into your mind, “so, you seeing anyone?”
sophia almost tripped over her own feet. she froze for a full three seconds.  before she managed to scoff and shake her head. “what? no”
you hummed, hands in your pockets, tilting your head as you glanced at her. “really?”
she frowned, shifting her backpack higher on her shoulder. “why do you sound surprised?”
you gave her an easy smile, and she felt that stupid tingle creep up her spine again. “c’mon, soph. you’ve grown so beautiful—there’s no way no one wants you.”
she could feel heat creeping up her face before she could stop it. why are you saying this so casually. she forced herself to roll her eyes, trying to act unbothered despite the fact that she was literally about to explode on the spot. “shut up.”
you only laughed, completely unfazed by the way she was actively fighting for her life.
before she could even process what was happening, you reached for her backpack, slipping it off her shoulder effortlessly.
“what—” she started, but you just slung it over your other shoulder, adjusting the straps like it was yours now.
you grinned, glancing down at her with an amused glint in your eyes. “this bag is, like, ten times bigger than you, baby. i don’t even know how you’re carrying this around all day without toppling over.”
sophia gawked at you, her mouth opening and closing. she was offended. she smacked your arm as hard as she could, she knew it did no damge to you. but you still gasped, all dramatic, clutching your chest like she had just mortally wounded you.
“wow” you breathed, “why am i getting bashed for doing public service”
“because i don’t need your public service,” sophia huffed, crossing her arms.
you just laughed, adjusting her bag on your shoulder like it weighed nothing. annoying.
the walk to the boba shop was short, just a few blocks away from campus, but sophia felt every single step. maybe it was the way your arm would occasionally brush against hers, or how effortlessly you carried both of your bags like it was the easiest thing in the world. maybe it was the fact that you had called her beautiful like it was something undeniable. she scowled to herself. no. youre not thinking about that.
before the moment could get quiet again, the boba shop came into view, the neon sign casting a soft glow against the pavement. you pushed the door open, motioning for her to go in first, and she absolutely did not feel anything about that. not at all.
the familiar smell of tea and tapioca filled the air as you both stepped inside. the shop was mostly empty, save for a couple of students hunched over their laptops in the corner. the cashier perked up as you approached the counter, giving a friendly nod.
she watched as you stepped up to the counter with effortless ease, ordering like you’d been doing this for years. she didn’t even need to say anything—you already knew her usual. it was something small, something insignificant in the grand scheme of things, but it made her feel something she absolutely did not want to name.
the cashier punched in the order, and before she could even think about reaching for her wallet, you had already handed over your card.
“my treat,” you said, completely casual, like it wasn’t a big deal. “for doing so well in calculus.”
sophia stiffened. you said it like you were proud of her. like it actually meant something. her fingers twitched at her side, the automatic urge to argue bubbling up, but she clamped her mouth shut.
she exhaled through her nose, muttering a small thanks while eyes darting anywhere but at you.
Tumblr media
the walk back to campus was calm, the kind of quiet that felt easy. sophia focused on her drink, letting the cold seep into her fingers, every now and then glancing at you as you absentmindedly shook your cup to mix the boba. she hated how natural this was starting to feel, falling back into your orbit like no time had passed at all.
as the campus gates came into view, you turned to her, tilting your head. “you want a ride home?”
sophia shook her head without thinking. “no, it’s okay. basil’s got it.”
you slowed your steps, raising an eyebrow. “soph. he’s gonna leave you stranded for at least an hour” she winced. you weren’t wrong. basil had a horrible habit of showing up ridiculously late. still, she shrugged, acting like it didn’t bother her. “it’s fine.”
you sighed, shaking your head. “c’mon, don’t be dumb. i’ll give you a ride home. i have to pick up something at your place anyway.”
the city lights flickered through the windshield as you maneuvered through the streets. one hand on the wheel, the other lazily adjusting the air conditioning.
its crazy how natural you looked like this. relaxed, the faint glow of passing headlights casting soft shadows across your face. she hated that she noticed.
she looked away quickly, pretending to be very interested in her boba. “so,” you said, breaking the silence, “how’s school been? besides me making you a calculus genius, obviously.”
sophia snorted, shaking her head. “hardly a genius.”
you hummed, shooting her a knowing look. “lara says otherwise.”
“lara?” sophia repeated, trying to keep her voice neutral, but she could already hear the edge creeping in.
you glanced at her, amused. “yeah” sophia knew she was being irrational. knew it was dumb to be irritated by something as small as you acknowledging lara’s existence. but she couldn’t help it. because you were supposed to be hers. you were already invading her space, was it so much to ask that she didn’t have to hear your voice saying someone else’s name?
she took a long sip of her boba, mostly just to have something to do with her mouth that wasn’t pouting like a child. “since when do you talk to lara?”
you laughed, drumming your fingers lightly against the steering wheel. “since she’s in my music club”
 oh.
sophia frowned slightly. lara hadn’t mentioned that. she should have known, lara told her everything, and yet somehow, she’d never thought to bring you up? before she could dwell on it, you kept talking.
“she talks about you,” you added, throwing her a quick glance before looking back at the road. “don’t worry, it’s good stuff.”
sophia’s grip tightened around her drink. “…like what?”
you smirked. “like how she overheard the teachers saying you’re almost one of the best in the class.”
her lips parted slightly. what. she didn’t even know the teachers said that. lara never told her. but you knew? how did that make any sense?
she didn’t know what to focus on. the fact that she was apparently good enough to be talked about like that, or the fact that you were the one telling her. she forced herself to scoff, looking away. “tch. what can i say im self made.”
you tapped your fingers lightly against the wheel. “ofcourse you are, you put in the effort. you show up to tutoring, you do practices and you actually care about getting better. you deserve everything good that comes your way.”
her breath caught in her throat.
the words hit her square in the chest, and suddenly, it was hard to breathe. how could someone be this kind? how could you say something like that so easily, like it wasn’t something that would sit in her ribs for the rest of the night?
her fingers tightened slightly around her boba shes surprised it hasn’t exploded and before she could stop herself, her eyes drifted toward you. your profile was illuminated by the city lights outside, jawline sharp, mouth relaxed, brows furrowing just the slightest bit in focus. you looked so… at ease. saying things like this came naturally to you.
because how could she get all the credit when you were the one who spent your free time tutoring her? when you were the one making sure she understood things, guiding her without ever making her feel stupid for free, and still somehow acting like she was the one who had done all the hard work?
she should look away. she knew she should look away. but she couldn’t.
then—
“if you keep looking at me like that, i’m gonna think you’re in love with me.”
her head snapped forward so fast it was a miracle she didn’t get whiplash. “shut up,” she muttered, taking a very long sip of her drink just to avoid saying anything else.
you laughed, amused, clearly enjoying the way she was stunned. “i’m just saying.” she ignored you, staring straight ahead, praying to every higher power that the ride home would be over soon.
Tumblr media
as soon as you pulled into the driveway, sophia was out of the car like it was on fire, barely sparing you a glance before disappearing into the house. you huffed a quiet laugh, shaking your head as you followed her inside.
basil was in the kitchen, lazily scrolling through his phone, but he barely got the chance to look up before sophia breezed past him, dropping her bag onto the floor with a little more force than necessary.
“dude, i was just about to head out,” basil said, glancing at her.
“shut up,” sophia muttered, opening the fridge for a cold drink. she needed it with the day she had.
you snorted, leaning against the counter. “yeah, an hour from now.”
basil shot you a look, unimpressed. “why are you even here?”
you grinned, holding up the gaming controller you’d come to grab. “came to pick this up. also, saved your sister from being stranded at school.” basil rolled his eyes dismissing yn.
sophia grabbed a water bottle from the fridge, twisting the cap open as she turned on her heel, fully intending to escape upstairs before she did something stupid.
but before she could make it past the doorway, she felt a gentle tug at her wrist.
she nearly dropped the bottle.
you were still leaning against the counter, a lazy grin tugging at your lips as you looked at her. “my hug as thanks?”
sophia stared at you, her thoughts scrambled. her skin burned where your fingers lightly curled around her wrist. “for what?” she blurted, attempting to sound annoyed, but it came out a little too breathless.
your grin widened.  “a week of tutoring and for saving you from sitting around for an hour waiting on basil.”
basil scoffed from the kitchen, but sophia barely heard him over the sound of her own heartbeat.
she hesitated, but you tugged her just slightly closer, tilting your head like you were waiting. expecting.
her body moved before her mind could catch up. stiffly, awkwardly, she stepped forward, wrapping her arms around you in what was probably the worst hug of her life.
but you didn’t seem to mind.
you hummed, warm and solid against her, your arms looping around her shoulders with ease.your comforting scent drowned her receptors.
sophia wanted to shove you. wanted to roll her eyes and scoff and say something sarcastic.
instead, she stayed there for a second too long, breathing you in, feeling the steady rise and fall of your chest against hers and then, before she could completely lose it, she pulled away, muttering a quick, “goodnight,” before practically sprinting upstairs.
Tumblr media
rumors had been circulating that alex was planning to confess to sophia at the fundraiser. the very idea made her stomach turn.
she hated alex. he was one of basil’s friends. the one who never missed a chance to add salt to the wound whenever she messed up in front of the group. he made sure she felt like an outsider.
and now, all of a sudden, he liked her?
alex had spent years making her life difficult, and no amount of sudden affection was going to erase that. she wanted to tell him to get lost.
whenever alex pushed too far, you were the one who stepped in, the one who made him back off before things could go too far. you were the only one who ever really seemed to notice when she was uncomfortable, the only one who cared enough to make sure she was okay. and sophia hated the way that made her feel. she hated the warmth that crept in at the thought of you.
sophia groaned, slumping against the lockers as lara dug through her bag. “this is actually my worst nightmare.” sophia scowled, arms crossed tight over her chest.
lara finally glanced at her, unimpressed. “you’re being dramatic.”
“am not.” sophia huffed. “alex is the absolute last person on earth i’d want confessing to me. i mean, the guy made my childhood miserable! he’s a fucking bully and now he suddenly likes me? like, what—am i supposed to just forget years of bullying and fall into his arms?” she threw her hands up.
“i don’t want a confession! all i want is a handwritten apology letter with tears on it”
“who’s confessing to who?”
sophia stiffened. you.
she turned her head just in time to see you strolling up, brows raised in curiosity. the sight of you with hands shoved into your pockets, head tilted ever so slightly as you looked between her and lara.
lara, the traitor, wasted no time in answering. “alex. apparently, he’s planning to confess to sophia at the fundraiser.”
sophia braced herself, expecting you to tease her, maybe even laugh about it.
 but instead your expression shifted.
it was subtle. your shoulders tensed just a little, your jaw tightening, something unreadable flashing behind your eyes before you quickly masked it with an easy grin. “oh?” you drawled, but your voice wasn’t as lighthearted as usual. “so, what—he’s just gonna make some big public scene about it?”
lara shrugged. “maybe.”
you scoffed, and sophia swore you rolled your eyes. “you could always just make it clear you’re not interested before he tries anything.”
sophia narrowed her eyes. “what do you care?”
“i dont” you said too fast, you were trying to cut off the conversation before it could lead anywhere dangerous. but then you hesitated, backtracking, exhaling softly through your nose before tilting your head toward her, your voice lowering just a bit. “but you do. and if you don’t like him, that’s kinda annoying, isn’t it?”
she knew you had a point, but she wasn’t focused on that. she was focused on the way your fingers twitched at your sides, the way the muscle in your jaw flexed before relaxing, the way your eyes were carefully fixed on some random spot on the lockers instead of on her.
before she could say anything, your phone buzzed, and you glanced down at it, thumb moving lazily across the screen. “basil said to wait by music room three after school,” you muttered, still half-focused on whatever was on your phone.
lara perked up immediately. “ooh, band practice?”
that finally got your attention. you looked up, smirked, and shot lara a wink before going right back to your phone, like it was nothing. “well see you later.” then you left.
sophia felt it like a physical blow. her stomach twisted, heat creeping up her neck before she could stop it.
that was hers. that wink, that stupid smirk, the teasing lilt in your voice. a jealous feeling clouded her mind.
before she could even think about it, she turned to lara, brows furrowing. “how’d you even know about that?” she tried to sound casual, but there was a slight edge to her voice, one that lara definitely caught.
lara just smiled, slow and knowing, like she was enjoying this way too much. “music club.” sophia clenched her jaw.
Tumblr media
for the whole week, sophia couldn’t get a moment of peace. alex had been relentless, hovering around her like an annoying gnat that just wouldn’t go away. he was everywhere. before class, after class, during lunch. and she couldn’t even focus when she was with you.
not because of you, obviously. if it were just you, she wouldn’t mind. but alex had somehow made it his mission to sit with you two every single day, running his mouth and making so much noise that sophia could barely concentrate.
it was finally friday, and she was trying. really trying. to focus on solving an integration problem, gripping her pen just a little too tightly as she stared down at the numbers.
“and then my parents wanted me to go to princeton,” alex droned on beside her, leaning back in his chair smugly. like he belonged there with you two, “but i thought—”
sophia didn’t even look at him. she just clenched her jaw and kept scribbling in her notebook, pointedly ignoring him.
you, on the other hand, were visibly tense. she could tell by the way your fingers tapped impatiently against the table, the way your jaw clenched tight and defined, the muscle flexing beneath your skin.
she hated that she noticed.
alex was still talking. still. he had barely shut up the entire session, and it had been four whole days of him yapping while she was just trying to learn.
you exhaled sharply through your nose and finally snapped, turning to him with an expression so flat it sent a thrill through sophia’s spine.
“alex,” you said, voice edged with frustration. “shut the fuck up.”
alex blinked. “huh?”
you tilted your head, feigning patience, but your tone was anything but. “for the past four days, you’ve done nothing but talk about shit no one cares about while soph is literally trying to learn. do you even need to be here?”
alex scoffed, shifting in his chair. “damn, no need to be so hostile.”
“no, actually, i do,” you shot back. “because you’re annoying as hell and we’re trying to focus. so unless you suddenly became a calculus tutor, fuck off.”
sophia had to bite the inside of her cheek to keep from smiling. the look on alex’s face was priceless. eyes wide, mouth opening and closing like a fish out of water before he muttered something under his breath and stood up, huffing as he stomped off.
you let out a long sigh, rubbing your temples before turning back to her.
“finally,” you muttered. “now, where were we?”
sophia blinked down at her notebook, heart skipping a beat. “integration” she murmured.
Tumblr media
sophia woke up to the soft glow of sunlight filtering through her curtains, warming her face. but more than that, she woke up to the sound of music. faint but distinct, a steady rhythm pulsing through the floorboards.
she groaned, burying her face into her pillow for a moment before sighing and pushing herself up. rubbing the sleep from her eyes, she shuffled out of bed, still dressed in her pajama shorts and an oversized hoodie, her hair a mess of waves from sleep.
it was saturday. finally. she’d been dreading the weekend for one reason only. alex’s ridiculous plan to confess at the fundraiser. but after you had told him to fuck off in the bluntest way possible, she was praying he’d finally take the hint and drop it.
but that wasn’t her concern right now. because where the hell was that noise coming from?
barefoot, she padded downstairs, the music growing louder as she made her way to the basement door. it wasn’t just any music. it was live music, the deep hum of a bass and the sharp strum of a guitar.
she pushed the door open and peeked in, blinking at the sight before her.
basil and the rest of the band were scattered around the basement, instruments in hand, deep in the middle of rehearsal. the air buzzed with the sound of drums, the occasional offbeat note, and laughter between takes.
but her gaze landed on you immediately.
you were sitting on a stool, guitar resting on your thigh, fingers effortlessly plucking at the strings. you were focused, brow slightly furrowed, bottom lip caught between your teeth. and god, it was stupidly attractive.
before she could even process that thought, you looked up—and your gaze locked onto hers.
for a second, the rest of the basement faded away.
your eyes flickered down, taking in her disheveled appearance, and then you grinned, that slow, teasing kind that made something in her stomach tighten. “morning, sleeping beauty.”
sophia huffed, crossing her arms, suddenly very aware of how she must look. “why the hell are you playing so early?”
“it’s literally noon.”
she scowled, making you chuckle as you set your guitar down, leaning forward on your elbows. “you mad ‘cause we woke you up or ‘cause you missed half the practice?”
her cheeks warmed. half the practice? how long had you been down here? she glanced at basil, who just raised a brow at her knowingly before returning to tuning his bass.
“whatever,” she muttered, shifting on her feet. but before she could turn to leave, you reached out, catching her wrist gently.
“stay,” you said, softer this time. “we’re almost done, and you can judge our setlist.”
sophia hesitated. the way your fingers curled around her wrist—light but firm—made her brain stall for a second.
but she rolled her eyes, feigning disinterest. “fine. but if it sucks, i’m telling you.”
you smirked, giving her wrist a small squeeze before letting go. “wouldn’t expect anything less from you, baby.” her cheeks immediately turned red.
Tumblr media
sophia couldn’t stop staring.
you moved effortlessly, arms flexing as you adjusted the equipment in the truck, the fading sunset casting a golden glow on your skin. your sleeves were rolled up, exposing the lean definition of your forearms, and when you lifted a speaker into place, the wind tugged at the hem of your white button-up, lifting it just enough to reveal a sliver of your stomach.
“soph, get the fuck in the car.”
her brother’s voice snapped her out of it. she blinked, heat creeping up her neck as she realized she had been blatantly staring. jesus christ.
rolling her eyes to play it off, she huffed and strode toward the truck. she was dressed for the fundraiser. her silky top tucked neatly into a fitted skirt that accentuated her figure, her hair styled effortlessly, makeup subtle but effective. she knew she looked good. she just wished she wasn’t thinking about whether you thought so too.
she barely had a second to settle into the truck before you slid in beside her. and then another bandmate followed, cramming into the seat on your other side.
the space was ridiculously tight.
sophia sucked in a breath as your thigh pressed flush against hers. your shoulder bumped into her, and you let out a quiet grunt, shifting slightly. only for the guy next to you to do the same, squeezing you further into her space.
“fuck,” you muttered, glancing down at her. “okay, this is—hold on.”
before she could process it, your arm lifted and draped over her shoulders.
her breath hitched.
“what the hell are you doing?” she hissed, stiffening.
“trying to not breath down your neck,” you deadpanned, tilting your head toward the guy practically squishing you from the other side.
sophia clenched her jaw, but she didn’t shove you off. mostly because you were right. the way you were packed into the truck, this was the only way to make it even remotely comfortable. but also…you were warm. and close. and smelled stupidly good.
your fingers lightly rested against her arm, thumb brushing against the fabric of her sleeve as you got settled. and when you turned your head slightly, murmuring, “better?” so close to her ear, she almost forgot how to function.
she exhaled through her nose, rolling her eyes as if her pulse wasn’t racing. “couldn’t get any worse.”
you chuckled, clearly amused, but you didn’t say anything else. just relaxed into the seat, arm still loosely slung around her. and sophia sat there, unmoving, fighting the urge to lean into you.
the whole ride was oddly comforting. light chatter from the front row with the soft music playing.
the way your fingers absentmindedly tapped against her arm, keeping time with the soft beat of the radio. the occasional hum under your breath when a song you liked came on. the lazy tilt of your head against the seat, eyes half-lidded, relaxed, completely unaware of the absolute disaster unfolding beside you.
she felt trapped. surrounded. every inhale filled her lungs with you. she hated to admit that she liked it.
the truck rumbled to a stop, and sophia barely had a second to process before she felt you shift beside her. your arm, the one that had been slung so casually over her shoulders the whole ride, lifted away, leaving behind a ghost of warmth that sent an involuntary shiver down her spine.
she exhaled sharply. god, she needed air.
but before she could bolt, the door swung open, and basil was already barking orders.
sophia rolled her eyes as she slid out of the truck, stretching her arms over her head, letting the crisp evening air cool the heat simmering under her skin.
the fundraiser was already coming to life around them. the sun was starting to lower on the horizon, painting the sky in warm hues of orange. carnival lights flickered on, illuminating the fairground in a golden glow. the scent of fried food and kettle corn drifted through the air, mingling with the distant laughter of kids running past.
but before she could take it all in, a heavy weight landed on her shoulders.
“carry that inside, yeah?”
sophia scowled at basil, who had just dropped a coiled-up cable over her like she was some kind of pack mule. “are you serious?”
basil only shooed her away. before she could snap at him, you walked past, effortlessly carrying an amp under one arm, a guitar case slung over your back. you shot her a grin over your shoulder. “c’mon, soph, at least pretend to be helpful.”
she grumbled something under her breath but followed anyway, dragging her feet as she carried the cable toward the stage area.
sophia cleared her throat, shifting on her feet. “alright, i’m gonna go find lara,” she announced, directing it mostly toward you and basil as you both worked on setting up. she needed to move, to go, to be anywhere but here—somewhere alex wouldn’t find her.
but before she could slip away, you turned to her, wiping your hands on your jeans, eyes locking onto hers, big wide doe eyes. “hey, you’re gonna come watch us play, right?” almost pleading. like her presence mattered
and god, why couldn’t she say no to you? why was that even a question?
she hadn’t seen you play in years. not since you were kids messing around in her garage, when your hands were too small to reach all the chords properly, when you’d grin at her between strums like you knew she was watching.
and now? now you were standing in front of her, taller, sharper, so much cooler than before, looking at her like it would make a difference if she was there.
she knew she should say something, but her mind was blank, lost in the way you tilted your head, looking at her expectantly.
sophia swallowed. tried to look unaffected. failed miserably.
“yeah,” she blurted out, barely a whisper. then, as if that wasn’t pathetic enough, she cleared her throat and tried again. “yeah. of course. i’ll be there.”
your face lit up instantly, all bright eyes and easy joy, and before she could even process what was happening, you wrapped your arms around her.
your arms were strong but gentle, warm but not suffocating, like you were made to hold her. you smelled like soap and a little bit of sweat from moving equipment, and it should not be as intoxicating as it was.
her hands hovered awkwardly on your back. patting it lightly not enough for you to notice, but enough for her to feel like she was about to melt straight into the ground.
then, just as quickly as you hugged her, you pulled back, grinning.
“awesome,” you said, still holding onto her arms for a second before finally letting go. “i’ll look for you in the crowd.”
she just nodded, not trusting herself to speak. and then scurried away to find lara and get alex out of sight, out of mind.
-
after what it seemed like minutes of having fun with her friends. the sun started to set slowly. and that was her que to leave. “gotta go guys” she said amongst the laughter.
“what. why so early?” megan perked up. “shes going to see her hot rockstar girlfriend” said lara with a smirk.
lara’s smirk deepened when sophia didn’t immediately deny it. “oh my god,” she drawled, nudging megan. “did you see that? she hesitated.”
sophia’s eyes widened, heat creeping up her neck. “i did not hesitate.” megan gasped theatrically, pressing a hand to her chest. “you totally hesitated.”
sophia groaned, shoving at lara’s shoulder. “she’s not my girlfriend.”
“yet,” lara shot back smoothly.
“shut up,” sophia muttered, but her ears burned.
her friends weren’t letting up. “nah, this is crazy,” megan grinned. “you got all dressed up just to go watch her play, huh?”
“that’s- i always look good!” sophia stammered. They were so annoying.
lara sighed dramatically, shaking her head. “it’s okay, soph. we get it. the effortlessly cool guitarist, the stage presence, the stupidly hot arm veins—”
before lara could even finish her sentence, sophia was already looking the other way, walking to the stage. she didn’t even turn around. she just flipped them off as she walked away, which only made them cackle harder.
sophia could already feel it before she even saw you—the buzz of anticipation in the air, the excited murmurs from the crowd, the way her pulse started to pick up as she pushed through the sea of people. and she finally got a good spot in the middle.
and then you walked onto the stage.
and sophia completely forgot how to breathe.
god.
the warm tones of the sunset traced every sharp angle of your jaw, the slope of your nose, the stray beads of sweat along your temple. the silver rings on your fingers caught the light as you flexed your hands, rolling out the tension before picking up your guitar. your sleeves were haphazardly rolled to your elbows, exposing the lean muscle of your forearms, your collarbones peeking through the loose neckline of your button-up.
you looked unreal.
her breath stalled in her throat as she watched you tilt your head back slightly. her fingers twitched at her sides, like some pathetic, desperate part of her wanted to reach for you.
then the first strum of your guitar broke through the air, and the sound of it. low and rich and you sent a shiver down her spine. the band kicked in, bass thrumming in her chest, drums pulsing like a heartbeat.
she wanted to keep watching forever. but then something blocked her view. a shadow fell over her, and her stomach dropped.
her focus wavered just enough for her to realize. alex.
he was saying something, voice edged with nervous excitement, but she wasn’t listening. couldn’t listen. not when you were right there, bathed in golden light, bass slung over your shoulder, looking like something out of a fever dream.
then, as if you could feel her staring.
you looked at her.
the air in her lungs vanished.
it wasn’t immediate. you didn’t react at first, just held her gaze, steady and unshaken, fingers still moving over the strings, body still swaying with the rhythm. but sophia felt it.
the weight of it. the intensity of it.
your lips parted slightly as you breathed through the lyrics, loose strands of hair falling into your face, eyes barely lidded under the glow.
she had to look away. because if she didn’t, if she kept looking, if she let herself fall for you again and she wasn’t sure she’d survive it.
alex was still talking. something about how he’s liked her for a while, how he wanted to tell her properly, how he knew the timing wasn’t great.  her pulse was still in her throat.
her thoughts were spiraling. all she could think about was you. she felt exposed. like something inside her had cracked wide open, and every feeling she had been pushing down for years was crawling out, raw and desperate, begging to be acknowledged.
she had spent too long convincing herself this was over. that whatever she felt for you was just nostalgia, and that she wasn’t still looking at you the same way she did when she was nine. hopelessly smitten.
she was right back where she started. and she was drowning in it.
“—so would you go out with me?,” alex was saying infront her. but all she could look at was you.
she barely even registered his voice. her thoughts were screaming. she needed to stop this. she needed to push it all back down, needed to bury it so deep it never saw the light of day again.
before she could think, before she could stop herself, the words were already tumbling out.
“yes, alex. i’d love to go out with you.”

the new marvel rivals game had just released, and all your friends were begging you to play with them. so, after waiting five hours for it to download, it was eventually finished and you started playing.
you were playing all throughout the afternoon into the night, when you got a call from sophia. quickly sliding one of your headphones off, you grab your phone and answer the call, using your shoulder to keep it secure. "hey babe, what's up?"
"i was on the way and wanted to ask if you needed anything while i'm out," sophia says over the phone. when you don't answer, she speaks up again. "yn? are you listening?"
"huh?" you let out. "sorry, no, i think i'm good. when will you get here- shit!" you curse loudly when you die, slouching back in your chair and sighing.
"are you playing a game?"
"yeah, the new marvel rivals game just released and my friends wanted me to play with them," you answer.
"well i'll be there in ten minutes."
"okay, i'll have the door unlocked," you reply. as soon as she hangs up you put your phone down and start playing again.
you did unlock the door, but when sophia walked inside she was met with the sounds of you yelling at your computer. after setting her bag down she heads over to your room, opening the cracked door wider to see you sitting at your desk with your eyes glued to the screen.
silently, she walks behind you and wraps her arms around your shoulders, causing you to jump and slide your headphones off, turning your head around to see sophia.
"hey, baby," you smile at her, pecking her lips quickly.
"hi," sophia smiles back at you. "how's your game?" she asks, playing with your hair as it was messed up from the headphones on your head for such a long period of time.
"super fun!" you reply, your smile growing. "just let me finish this match and i'll get off."
"mkay," she nods, kissing your cheek as you look back at the screen.
an hour passes by, and you still were on the game. your friends were trying to get to the highest level they could before stopping, and you ended up agreeing and continuing as well. you wanted your moon knight's special mr knight skin, obviously you were going to work hard for it, even if you would end up paying in the end. sophia's sitting on your bed behind you, half watching you play and half contemplating what to do.
"yn," sophia says. "it's been over an hour."
"hm?" you glance behind you to look at her before at the clock. "shit, i'll get off after we finish this match, okay?" you look back at the screen. "jason! what did i tell you about healing me?! i'm about to die, asshole!"
after another forty-five minutes and you were still playing, sophia decided to take matters into her own hands. getting up from your bed, she walks up behind you and rests her chin on your shoulder, moving one of your headphones off your ear. "honey, you said you'd get off two hours ago," she says to you quietly, her voice laced with a tone you knew far too well.
glancing over at her for a split second, you nod your head before looking back at the screen. "i know, i know, i'm sorry. just give me five more minutes to-"
you're cut off by sophia grabbing you by your cheeks firmly, turning your head to face her, her nails digging into your skin lightly. "no. turn it off now."
your eyes widen at both the demanding tone in her voice and the look on her face, swallowing the lump in your throat and nodding quickly. "o-okay." you tell your friends you're getting off before quickly turning off the system and taking the headphones off your head. "i didn't mean to-" you start trying to explain yourself, however being cut off again before you could get more than a few words out.
"ah," sophia shakes her head, grabbing the back of your head and tugging on your hair lightly to look up at her. "what do we say instead of giving excuses?"
you wince lightly at the feeling of her pulling on your hair as you look up at her. "i'm sorry, mommy," you mumble out embarrassedly, your face heating up at her eyes on you.
"mm," she hums, nodding her head. "well, i forgive you. but you're gonna have to be good and take your punishment, okay?" she tells you, her hand still tangled in your hair.
"okay." you nod as best as you can despite the pain you're feeling on your head.
a smile forms on sophia's face, and she leans in, kissing you roughly. a little noise of surprise leaves your mouth at the sudden action, but you instantly are kissing back, letting her take over the way she wanted. when she pulls away, you're left breathless as she walks over to your closet. your eyes watch where she goes, your eyebrows raising slightly as she walks back to you with your strap, and a pair of handcuffs.
"wh-" you try to say, but you stop when sophia spins you around in your chair.
"since the games are more important than me, i think we should have some fun," sophia says. "put it on."
you nod again, knowing better than to oppose the woman when she was like this. hastily, you strip yourself of your shirt and shorts, leaving you in just your boxers. you stand for a moment to take the strap from her, securing it around your hips. opening your mouth to speak, you end up not saying anything when she pushes you back down onto the chair.
sophia grabs both your hands in hers, putting them behind the back of the chair and then putting the cuffs on, tightening them to the point it dug into your skin lightly.
"mommy i-"
"shh," sophia's quick to cut you off, putting her finger on your lips. "you can handle it, can't you? you're my strong boy, right?"
you nod your head, a little pout on your lips. "yes, mommy."
"good boy." she smiles at you, patting your cheek gently before kissing you.
you didn't realize just how much you liked having your hands on her until now with your hands restrained behind your back. the metal of the cuffs digging into your skin when you tried to move them, causing you to give up fairly easily from the stinging sensation. when sophia pulls away from the kiss, you're breathing heavily, your eyes watching her slowly strip off her clothes. your breath hitches in your throat as she straddles you, looking at her with big eyes and pupils dilated.
she doesn't say anything as she sinks down onto your cock, a small sigh leaving her mouth while putting her hands on your shoulders. your eyes don't leave her face as hers flutter close for a moment, her lips parting slightly with a little whimper coming from her. after taking a moment to adjust, she starts rocking her hips, a quiet moan escaping past her lips. when she opens her eyes and looks at you, you swore your heart stopped beating for a second.
"keep your eyes on me, baby," she tells you, one of her hands raking through your hair and grabbing the back of it. the stinging pain forcing you to do exactly that, your eyes wide as she starts moving faster, the chair squeaking with every move she makes. "oh my god, baby," she whimpers, tugging on your hair and throwing her head back. "mnnh you fill me up so good."
she's started getting louder and talking more on purpose. you knew that. it went along with not being able to touch her, to just sit there and let her use you like you were a toy. you couldn't lie and say you didn't like it at least a little bit. all you could do was watch as she moaned and whined with your hair tight in one hand with the other clawing into your bicep.
"fuck...see what happens when you leave me– ah– needy for hours? if you paid as much attention to me as that goddamn game then maybe i'd let you fuck me."
"i'm sorry, mommy," you say, hissing quietly at the pain in your head from how tight she was gripping your hair.
"will you listen next time?" she looks down at you, pupils blown wide filled with darkness.
"yes, mommy." you quickly nod your head. "i won't do it again, i swear."
a smile forms on sophia's face when you respond, her hand moving up to your shoulder and grasping you for support. "that's my good boy," she whispers, leaning down and kissing you.
your lips slide together with teeth clashing against one another, feeling her moaning into the kiss as her hips rock against you in a fast rhythm. parting from the kiss, she pants against your lips with more whimpers and moans leaving her mouth.
"fuck, i'm gonna cum," she whimpers, putting her face in your neck. her hips move sloppily, trying so desperately to get herself to cum while she whines into your neck. "you feel so good, oh my god."
"fuck," you whisper. her moans are loud right next to your ear, feeling little drops of sweat hitting your skin but you didn't care enough to mind it. all you wished for is that you could use your hands. to grab her hips, her chest, her neck, anything. your knocked out of your thoughts when you hear her whine loudly against your neck, her body shaking slightly with her orgasm crashing down.
pulling her face away from your neck, sophia's hand lets go of your hair, fixing it back into place while looking down at you with a small smile on her face at your expression. "what's wrong, baby boy? you wanted to have your fun with me?"
"please, mommy," you say. "let me show you i'm sorry."
when you look at her with those puppy eyes she can't help but give in, leaning close to you while smiling still. "awe, my baby wants to make mommy feel good?"
you nod your head quickly, not even realizing her hands moving around the chair to unclasp the cuffs off your hands until you don't feel the metal anymore and hear it clink on the ground. immediately you move your hands to grab her hips, looking up at her. "please?"
all she does is nod her head, her smile growing when you pick her up and move over to the bed. maybe you being on the games for too long wasn't that big of a problem, now that she knew how to fix it.

- Fam out
Sophia Laforteza X Reader
Synopsis - Sophia loves when you're caring, serious, she LOOOVES ;)
Genre – Fluff, a little suggestive at the end?
a/n - Was I so excited to write this, for some reason??? I think I also kind of like domestic things, so...
I think it has a little bit of Yn!Oc in that, I mean, Yn is a little bit based on me and my personality <3
next chapter | F.O Masterlist
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The theater was full, people quickly finding their seats, all excited by the movie. Yoonchae was happy to have someone she could share this experience with. The younger girl knew that as soon as she talked to Sophia she would agree to watch the movie instantly, but when Yn agreed to watch the movie with them, Yoonchae was more surprised than ever.
You've been dating Sophia for six months, Yoonchae has always liked you, despite having similar personalities, you two were very different, Yoonchae thinks the age difference does that. The younger girl knew that you had a somewhat peculiar taste for a 21-year-old girl.
Yoonchae liked to describe her personality as the "personality of a divorced father", she always said that Sophia's girlfriend liked rock, preferably older bands, wore band shirts, played guitar, loved horror and action movies, and had a vintage car (old) that seemed strangely comfortable to Yoonchae. She would say that you were quiet, a born observer. Yoonchae liked that, she found your personality cozy, even though other people found you scary.
Yoonchae thought Sophia was happy in her relationship, and boy, could she not be more right. Sophia loved every detail of Yn, she loved you was always attentive, as you always did everything to make everyone comfortable. Sophia noticed every single thing, how you always grabbed the highest things from the shelves when the Kats couldn't reach, and how you always pretended not to care about the "thank you" from the girls, responding only with a brief "Hm".
Sophia always noticed how you always left a bottle of water nearby at rehearsals you went to attend, or how you always applied the sidewalk rule when you went out for a walk, or how you always made sure Sophia had gotten home before starting the car and going home. Sophia has always noticed everything.
But sure, her favorite interactions were with Yoonchae, Sophia loves it when you do something for the younger girl, something about it warms your heart. So when you said yes when Yoonchae invited you to watch "inside out 2" your girlfriend was automatically jumping up and smiling silly.
Everything was cozy, the trip to the cinema in her vintage car – cof cof old cof cof – the smell of popcorn and even the feeling that the choice of seats was perfect, everything seemed extremely domestic to Sophia.
When the movie started you were super entertained, all the colors and captivating animations held your attention. As the movie played, you noticed that Yoonchae's drink had run out. Looking at the Filipino girl's cup and seeing a good amount of liquid, you decided to get a little more just for the younger girl.
"Hey, I'll be right back." You say, leaning in and giving Sophia a kiss on the head, leaving before she could say anything.
After buying the drink and some candy that you think the girls would like, you went back to your seat, trying to be discreet and not get in the way of people.
"Where have you gone?" Sophia asks as soon as you sit in the armchair.
"Buy some things."
You put the drink in Yoonchae's cup holder and hand her one of the candies you bought, knowing that it was her favorite.
"I bought this for you, you like those, right?" You ask, looking at Sophia, who now had heart eyes.
"Yes baby, thank you." The Filipino girl says before grabbing the back of your neck and giving you a kiss.
"Of course, I'm here for that." You say, focusing on the film again, not before intertwining your hand with Sophia's.
Tumblr media
In the car, once again, Sophia felt that feeling, the cozy and domestic environment that she quickly learned to love. Yoonchae and you debated about the movie (More like Yoonchae talking and you agreeing and making comments here and there) while Sophia listened to everything in the passenger seat, scratching your head as you drove to the restaurant.
When you arrive at the restaurant you unconsciously pull the chair to Yoonchae, doing the same to Sophia and then taking the seat next to your girlfriend. The food came, and you ate it amidst silly conversations and jokes. One of the jokes making Yoonchae laugh and unintentionally hitting the glass of water next to her.
"Watch your clothes, Yoonchae." Sophia said as she picked up the glass that fell.
"Oh my god, I'm sorry." The younger girl says as she gets up from her chair so that the water doesn't get on her clothes.
"It's okay Yoonchae, it was just water. And the glass didn't break, I'm just going to ask the waiter to clean it, you can sit in my seat while I call the waiter, okay?"
Very interested in calling the waiter to clean up the mess on the table, you unfortunately missed the look that Sophia was giving you, but if someone who was around saw it, that person could tell that it was like a jaguar ready to attack her prey.
Tumblr media
You threw yourself on the bed next to Sophia with a sigh, the day had been fun and you were ready to rest. After leaving Yoonchae at home with the Kats, Sophia insisted that she would sleep at your house, you didn't question it, after all she could stay the night whenever she wanted, no matter how different something seemed.
"Tired?"
"A little, but nothing out of the ordinary. Did you have fun?" you asked, crossing your hands under your head and looking at the black-haired girl.
"Yes, it was the best day," she said. "But it's about to get better."
Sophia mounted on your waist with a smile on her face, legs on either side of your body, taking you completely by surprise.
"With you everything always gets better."

kats vs overly fanservice-like reader ⋆☕︎ ˖
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
warningz⋆ fluff, mild language, reader is genuinely strange
blurb⋆ in which the katseye girls have to deal with an overly eccentric member who loves doing her job... a little too much. A person of the people they call her but her fellow members just thing she's a curious case.
wordz⋆ 2.041k
a/n⋆my first ever official fic ☕͜ (ᵔ ̮ ᵔ)› more to come, but a short and sweet one for all the girls, i wrote this to be as platonic as I could, but you can perceive reader to be in a relationship with any of the girls. nd if your curious i heavily based readers personality on a chinese cosplayer Karina! thought it'd be cute (oh and requests are open!)
Tumblr media
Manon would be repulsed— in a teasing way, she would see you amongst the other girls as you all sat in a row, giving your all into pleasing a fan. The fans of course eat it up as usual while Manon watches you from the corner of her eye with a scrunched up face, feeling absolutely freaked whenever you do a cute pose, or laugh at some tacky pickup line at your grown age. She isn’t entirely disgusted at your actions, more just curious on how fast you can play out these corny scenarios.
It had been like any other fan meet, your drowsy body laid pressed up against the edge of the table as you held hand in hand with another one of your dedicated fans. It was only supposed to be a 5 minute long greet but after signing the SIS album, you felt as if the whole ordeal was being dragged on. The ghanaian sitting next to you emphasized with your exhaustion as she tossed you a knowing glance, before taking her focus to the woman in front of her. Manon’s peripheral vision was enough to keep track of you and your wary state.
You had been bored our of your mind— despite this being your first public fan event, you found it profound that your interactions with your fans where been heavily monitored as if you'd cross the line. Though, it didn't take long before an overly enthusiastic fan piqued your interest with her odd comment, "Doesn't my perfume smell great", the girl spoke as she sat curiously in front of you. Your eyes practically widened as she motioned towards her wrist, the location with the most concentration of the sweet scent. "Mhm, just like a fresh flower bloom" You hummed, Manon found your comment intrigued, but didn't raise an eyebrow at it, that was until she saw you raising your hand towards her as your fingers looped around her wrist from the corner of her eye.
Poor Manon tried giving her undivided attention to the fan in front of her but she couldn't puzzle what you where doing. Her eyes widen as you grab the girl's wrist and smell her perfume "seductively" as you call it, while the fan freaks out. This is when Manon cannot hold in her emotions anymore— she is BURSTING out laughing as you try your best to keep your composure. She's teasing you like crazy when you both get back home, and when clips of you with the "Oh she's that type of girlfriend" videos circulate around tiktok she's sending all those to you. And best believe she's teasing you about it on weverse with comments like "Oh guys, best believe I'll be next!" or "Some people lack shame, but thats okay."
Sophia is just, confused? She's known you since day one, assuming that the both of you where attached to the hip since Dream Academy. Sophia has genuinely never seen you like this until now, to be fair, you had been joking about being an absolutely "stud muffin" even during pre-debut days, but she never truly expected you to go through with it— AND be this committed to the bit. Best believe she's staring you down during every interview and every fan interaction, just to make sure you don't accidentally slip up and cause another viral yet incrimination moment for the girls. But despite that, she'd much rather be a fool with you, than you making a fool out of yourselves, so yes she is entertaining your strange behaviour.
She only really started playing into it during a promotion live for touch, the both of you as per usual, where too preoccupied mugging the camera that you failed to notice that both of you where too close for comfort. It hadn't occurred to you how close in proximity the two of you had become, it wasn't until Megan sweetly read out a comment along the lines of "Oh my, my sophy/n heart" that it made everything abundantly clear. Sophia opened her mouth to defend herself only for you to butt in just as quickly. "Mhm, me and my beautiful glorious queen Sophia..." You drone, your words slow as you reached your hand over the table which held all the sweet treats and grabbed the nearest edible thing and raised it up to your face.
"Are just such a great duo." You giggled, pushing the sweet up to Sophia's glossed lips, her eyebrow raised before finally giving in. As she let the sweet treat enter her mouth you continued to speak "Isn't that right Soph?" You asked, the bewildered filipino kept her composure as she mumbled 'sure' under her breath, as Megan and Lara laughed at the two's antics. Which lead to a scolding right after the camera's got shut off.
Daniela is so befuddled, to the point she's physically screaming, and running away, crying, throwing up, all of the above, she's everything but pleased. She's never been one who was used to this whole idol culture, on top of the fact that she's constantly having the please the fans is horrific to her. Which isn't as horrifying as watching one of the closest people in her life being a fan-service advocate, such as yourself. She finds you genuinely terrifying how good you are at reading people and flirting with others. Honestly, she really found you charming during the production at Dream academy, even whenever you joked about "putting your skills to the test", she never took your charms seriously, that was until she saw your true form on stage.
It had just been another stage performance, the heat the lights, the music, it all had gotten to you, the sweat dripping from the side of you neck got a some fans in a stir, but nothing notable. Walking off the stage, (which forced you to make contact with a few fans before going backstage) you hopped off with a signature smile on your face that your charm was really put to the test. As a bead of sweat fell from your face, a towel was handed in your direction, presuming it was a staff member you grabbed it within a heartbeat. With Daniela behind you, she tried her best to stop you but it was too late, it was a fan who graciously offer you their hand towel. And now you where stuck between a rock and a hard place. You could either A, play it out and pretend this was all part of your grand plan or— yeah, that was the only viable option.
Daniela wide eyed gaze faced you as you continued to wipe your neck with the towel, your ego dying a little more as you tried to keep the smile plastered on your face. "Thank you baby." You hummed folding the towel to give it back to the crazed fan, who just insisted that you keep it, and of course you did, sliding it in the back of the hem of your skirt before gliding away from the situation. As you all head back stage, Daniela who's still in shock and disgusts pulls you into an empty room to debrief. Asking you questions along the lines of "Why'd you do that" and "Are you mad?", with your only response being "Felt like it" or "Y'know that was a good show— and you like good shows!" Only earning yourself a slap on the cheek as a response.
Lara loves it, she really does because that just means you match her vibe so well. She loves seeing you do it, and she loves playing into it with you, almost always making a whole show out of it to farm some more content from the fans. Any given moment she's coercing you into doing/saying something freaking on camera or in public, just because she finds it so entertaining, best believe she's the only one among the girls who actually approves of the fan service agenda. Although Lara does have some limits, because her parent's do see all the clips that go viral of her, but she teeters on the edge of what she can or cannot do with you. It's gotten so bad, that Sophia and Yoonchae have to cover the both of you whenever your on screen, because personal bubble does not exist with the two of you.
It's always when the two of you get on live alone, which always has the PR team in shambles, having two members who have no filter is hard enough but having the two of them by themselves is practically hell. You don't understand the concept of "to much information", (Lara does though, but seeing you embarrassed in the morning after getting post sleep clarity is hilarious) so when Lara read out a comment asking you for dating advice for girls you happily obliged! "I believe that the most important thing with flirting with girls, is eye contact..." You happily answered, turning your head to Lara as she was holding back tears of laughter.
"Look for example" You chirped, fixing your gaze to the Indian as she batted her eyes up towards yours, your faces inches apart as she stared at you curiously. This lasted for a good 7 seconds before she broke it off with her laughing uncontrollably, despite everything she did find her face heating up under your gaze. You turn you eyes back to the camera with a gummy smile, "See look! If it was a few more seconds, we'd be happily married. That's the secret to flirting with a girl." You cheerfully answered as Lara was huddled off from the view of the screen laughing her ass off.
Megan is indifferent, because she knows your getting hella bag from this, she's honestly just impressed on how well you can keep your composure till you break. Doesn't mean she's any less weirded out by it, but she's also not judging, "get that bread" one may say, and yeah she's a little jealous from how much the fan's eat it up but that only gave her more of the incentive to see what she can do to get that persona to crack. Even if it means playing along, or playing dirty, she just wants to see whats your absolute limit before you call it quits.
One time during a fan event, everyone was handed a pair a fluffy animal ears and fluffy paws to match, of course if any other regular grown woman where to put this on, they'd hurl, but you weren't some regular woman. You where on a mission, so you swallowed the remnants of your pride and put it on, the others where only brave enough to put one accessory on (Manon refused to put any of it on), you put everything on, quite literally decked out. Almost instantly the girls where suppressing their laughter and second-hand embarrassment, but the flashing lights of the cameras made it worth while. You had just expected to stay in this half costume for a few pictures until you took it off to sign more albums until you heard Megan's voice on the microphone as you got ready to slide the paws off.
"Hey, Y/n! This fan told me you should do a cute pose" She snickered as the fan waved in your general direction, almost like a glass crack, your smile faltered, making Megan burst out laughing, but that didn't stop you. You lifted you hands up to your face and made a claw like gesture with the signature smile plastered on your lips, before moving into a pout. Yoonchae who sat between you a Megan just glared up at you in pure disgusted, before you embarrassingly sat down. You huffed, knowing that even your members where laughing at you, but you knew that it'd be that end of that, "no more pictures" you mumbled under your breath as Megan kept your eyes on you.
As you carefully tried to take off your paw-like gloves you heard the mic tune in again, with Megan's giggle on the other end. "Hey c'mon, she wants you pose again" Megan cackled as she motioned to the same fan, she watched as you shot her a killer glance before begrudgingly following her orders.

daniela avanzini x fem!reader
summary daniela messed up- badly. now, she’s standing in the rain, desperate to fix what she broke. but sometimes, wounds don’t heal, and some love stories don’t get second chances.
disclaimers: angst... because it's fun. cheater daniela (sorry), i used lizeth selene as a face claim, but there is no physical description in the fic, so you can imagine whoever!
Tumblr media
01. 25. 25 10:43 pm
"hey, y/n... it's me. again."
"i know you probably won't listen to this, but i just -fuck, i don't know. i don't even know why i keep calling. i just- i can't stop thinking about you."
"i messed up, i know that. but please, just call me back."
01. 27. 25 12:17 am
"saw your post today. you looked good... happy."
"i mean, i guess that's the whole point, right? you're moving on. you're showing me that you don't need me. but-"
" - i need you."
"please, y/n. just let me talk to you."
2:04 am
"you wanna know the worst part?"
"i wake up, every morning, reaching for you. i still sleep on my side of the bed like you're gonna walk in any second and crawl under the covers like you used to... like we didn't fuck everything up."
"like i didn't fuck everything up."
"just tell me how to fix it... please. tell me what to do. say anything. say you hate me... just... don't leave me in silence."
you stared at you phone, thumb hovering over the play button on the next voicemail. 4:38 am. you don't press it. you already knew what it would play.
another broken apology. another desperate plea.
you should've blocked her. you should've deleted these messages days ago.
but some part of you -maybe the part that still remembered how daniela used to whisper 'I love you' against you skin- couldn't bring yourself to do it.
not just yet.
a loud knock at the door made you jump, breaking you out of a trance.
you already knew who it was.
you debated ignoring it, letting her stand out there in the rain until she finally got the message. But you knew dani. you knew she wouldn't leave until she had her answer.
exhaling sharply, you opened the door.
and there she was.
daniela avanzini. drenched, from head to toe, rain dripping from her lashes. her hoodie, soaked through
but her eyes- they were what undid you the most.
they weren't cocky, weren't full of the usual cheeriness daniela held.
they were just...pleading.
"y/n..." her voice was hoarse- desperate. "please."
you didn't say anything.
daniela swallowed hard, shifting on her feet. "can i-just five minutes. that's all i'm asking."
you hesitated. but then stepped aside.
daniela entered, dripping water onto the floor, but neither of you seem to care. she was too focused on you- like she was scared you'd disappear if she looked away.
"i fucked up," daniela started, voice raw. "i know that. and i know i don't deserve a second chance, but i need you to hear me."
you crossed her arms. "fine."
daniela let out a shaky breath. "i was an idiot, okay? i thought... i thought i could have it all. you. the group. the late nights. the fans." her voice grew quieter. "the girls."
you clenched your jaw.
daniela noticed and stepped closer, eyes shining. "but it wasn't real. none of it was real, y/n. it was just- just...bullshit. and by the time i realized that, by the time i realized you were the only real thing i had -" she stopped, shaking her head. "it was too late."
you inhaled sharply. "you cheated on me, dani." the words cut through the air like a blade.
daniela flinched. "I know." her voice was barely a whisper. "but i need you to know that it didn't mean anything. that she didn't mean anything."
you scoffed. "and i'm supposed to believe that?"
daniela's face crumpled. "you're supposed to believe that i love you."
you looked away, blinking hard. "you don't do that to someone you love."
daniela exhaled shakily. "i was scared.
you chuckled, head snapped up. "of what?"
daniela ran a hand through her wet curls, frustration flashing across her face. "of getting too close. of needing you more than i should." her voice cracked. "and i did. i needed you. and i fucked it up because i was too stupid to realize that needing you wasn't a weakness-"
all you could do is stare at her.
daniela stepped forward, hesitantly, like she wasn't sure if she was still allowed to.
"i can be better. i want to be better. for you. for us." she swallowed hard. "just give me one more chance."
you let out a bitter laugh. "one more chance?" you shook your head. "do you know how many times i've given you one more chance? how many times i let the late-night texts slide? the flirting? the bullshit excuses?"
daniela's shoulders sank.
"i loved you, daniela" you whispered. "god, i loved you..." your voice wavered. "and all i ever wanted was for you to love me enough to choose me. just me."
daniela's breath hitched.
"but you didn't." you swallowed the lump in your throat. "and i'm not gonna be the girl who keeps waiting for you to figure it out."
daniela took a step forward, eyes shining with something desperate. "but i have figured it out." her voice was breaking now, cracking under the weight of it all. "i choose you, y/n. i choose you right now. please, don't let this be the end."
your eyes burned. you wanted to believe her.
gosh, you wanted to.
But you couldn't.
you had spent too many nights waiting. too many nights wondering if you was enough.
and you refuse to do it again.
you exhaled softly. "i can't daniela."
daniela sucked in a sharp breath, blinking rapidly. "y/n-"
"i can't," you repeated, firmer this time. "i won't."
daniela's face crumpled. for a second, she looked like she might argue again, like she might drop to her knees if it meant you would take her back.
but she didn't.
instead, she let out a slow, shuddering breath and nodded.
daniela glanced at the door, then back at you, memorizing you like it was the last time she'd ever see you.
because it was.
and when she finally turned and walked out, you didn't stop her.
you let the door close.
and outside, the rain kept falling.
and somewhere on your phone, another voicemail went unheard.
"i know i couldn't give you what you gave me”
“and even though i'm dying to have you here, i know i lost you... te perdí"
Tumblr media
a/n: te perdí was literally the best song from rebelde. netflix was messy for not putting it on spotify. also this is my first time writing a fic so please lmk how it was 😭🙏

"Human when we're alone"
Tumblr media
Sophia stood alone in the grand dressing room, her reflection shimmering back at her from every gilded mirror. The golden lights illuminated the contours of her face, highlighting the perfect planes that the world adored. Her glittering gown hugged her curves like a second skin, her makeup a flawless masterpiece. She looked every bit the goddess her fans had christened her—the Sophia Laforteza, the international idol, the untouchable star who brought the world to its knees with her voice and her presence.
But the room felt unbearably empty, as if it were mocking her. She clutched the edge of the marble vanity, her knuckles white against the cold stone, and stared into her own eyes. Beneath the glitter and glamour, they were hollow.
She felt like a fraud.
A soft knock on the door broke her trance. “Soph?” your voice called from the other side.
Sophia froze, her heart seizing in her chest.
Y/N.
Her Y/N.
Taking a deep breath, Sophia turned to the door. “Come in.”
You stepped inside, your presence immediately filling the room with a warmth that clashed against Sophia’s growing sense of isolation. Y/N was dressed simply, a black turtleneck and jeans, her hair down. She was the opposite of Sophia’s glittering world, a grounding force that once made her feel like she could belong to something real.
But tonight, there was something different about the way Y/N held herself. Her brown eyes, usually so soft and open, were guarded, her arms crossed over her chest. Sophia felt the void between them widen, and she didn’t know how to bridge it.
“You were incredible tonight,” Y/N said, her voice quiet, almost hesitant. “You always are.”
Sophia tried to smile, but it wavered. “Thank you.”
An awkward silence stretched between them. Sophia’s stomach churned, the unspoken words hanging heavy in the air.
“Y/N,” she began, her voice trembling. “What’s wrong?”
Y/N hesitated, her gaze dropping to the floor. For a moment, Sophia thought she might not answer, but then Y/N exhaled, the weight of her words escaping in a single breath.
“I don’t think I can do this anymore,” Y/N said, her voice breaking.
The world tilted beneath Sophia’s feet. She reached out to steady herself on the vanity, her pulse roaring in her ears. “What are you saying?”
Y/N looked up, her eyes brimming with unshed tears. “I love you, Sophia. I do, but I don’t think you love me the same way.”
“That’s not true!” Sophia cried, her voice sharp with desperation. She took a step toward Y/N, but the other woman held up a hand, stopping her in her tracks.
“Isn’t it?” Y/N said bitterly. “You’ve spent so much time being her—this perfect, unattainable goddess that the world worships and I...I think I fell in love with her, too, but that’s not who you are, is it?”
Sophia recoiled as if struck. “I...I don’t understand.”
“You’re different offstage,” you continued, your voice cracking.
“You’re quieter, more unsure of yourself. You’re vulnerable in a way that terrifies me because it makes me feel like I have to hold you together, but I don’t know how to love this version of you, Sophia. I’m sorry.”
The words hit Sophia like a physical blow. She stumbled back, her hands clutching at her gown as if it could protect her from the pain tearing through her chest.
“I’ve tried,” Y/N whispered, her voice thick with tears. “I’ve tried to be enough for you, to love you for who you are when the lights go out, but I think I was always chasing the version of you I saw on stage and that’s not fair to either of us.”
Sophia shook her head, tears streaming down her face. “You don’t mean that. You can’t mean that. Y/N, I love you. I’ve always loved you.”
“Then why does it feel like you’re always hiding from me?” Y/N asked, her voice raw. “Why do I feel like I’m only seeing pieces of you, like you’re afraid to let me see the whole picture?”
Sophia couldn’t answer.
She didn’t know how to explain the fear that had haunted her since the day they met—the fear that if Y/N saw all of her, the messy, imperfect person behind the goddess, she would leave and now, that fear was coming true.
“I’m sorry,” Y/N said again, her voice breaking completely. “I don’t want to hurt you, but I can’t keep doing this. I can’t keep pretending that I don’t feel like I’m losing myself trying to hold onto someone who doesn’t know how to be real with me.”
The words hung in the air like a death knell. Sophia’s knees buckled, and she sank onto the velvet stool in front of the vanity. Her reflection stared back at her, shattered and unrecognizable.
“Y/N, please,” she whispered, her voice barely audible.
“Don’t go. I’ll try harder. I’ll be better. Just…don’t leave me.” she begged, trying not to cry.
Y/N’s sob caught in her throat, and for a moment, Sophia thought she might relent. But then she shook her head, a single tear slipping down her cheek.
“I think we both deserve more than trying to fix something that’s already broken,” Y/N said softly. “I’ll always love you, Sophia, but I need to love myself, too.”
With that, she turned and walked to the door. Sophia wanted to scream, to run after her, to beg her to stay, but she couldn’t move, her body frozen in the suffocating grip of her own despair.
The door clicked shut behind Y/N, and the silence that followed was deafening. Sophia sat there for what felt like hours, the weight of her grief pressing down on her until she could hardly breathe.
Finally, she looked back at her reflection, her tears blurring the glittering goddess into a ghost.
“Who are you?” she whispered to herself, her voice trembling.
For the first time, she had no answer.

Okay so i wanna see some more headcanons of the farmer ready to kick someone's ass so how about this:
Someone who is jealous of the farmer or like someone on like the enemy side, decided to kidnap their spouse to try and either ransom them or lure the farmer out, thinking it will be an easy win.
Then suddenly the next moment, the farmer already arrived before they could send a message to them (either the farmer got help from Mr.Qi or they track them down themselves), absolutely filled with rage and is now seconds away from beating the kidnapper.
How would the SDV/SVE bachelors and bachelorettes react to that?
I probably got the fastest rush of inspiration because holy cow, this is such a funny and cool scenario. Thank you so much, dear anon, for your ask! Enjoy! 💕
_____________________________
The bachelors/ettes reaction to their kidnapping for revenge/ransom, where their spouse Farmer, furious, comes to rescue them
SDV bachelors/ettes:
"You're demanding... 500 gold bars for me? I'm worth twice that, you know, even more! That's just insulting..." The kidnappers had already regretted their scheme before Farmer arrived to rescue Elliott, because the writer's outrage is already giving them a headache. Even with a gag in his mouth he's still talking! And just when they think the day can't get any worse, Farmer arrived quickly and kicked their asses. "Can you believe it, they only asked for 500 bars for me! I'm worth more than that, right dear?" Elliott was indignant to the core. Farmer grinned as they freed Elliott from the ropes, confirming that he was worth much more than that.
Sebastian did not think that in such a situation he would feel so... annoyed. Sure, being kidnapped by strangers had instilled fear at first, but when the leader of the gang started telling a self-pity story about how "I deserved everything, not Farmer, now I've stolen their lover and they're gonna pay!", Sebby thought the leader was some kind of cartoon villain. How absurd. Farmer who came in a couple of hours later also looks annoyed when the leader started telling their "villain arc". But before they can start, they get a fist in the face from Farmer, going straight to the realm of dreams. This was where Sebastian chuckled, at least something here was funny.
Shane's kidnapper was confident and said with a snide smile that either Farmer paid 500,000 gold for Shane or Farmer would "get their spouse in pieces". "800,000 gold and I'll ask Farmer not to kill you specifically." The kidnapper was a little taken aback by those words and the fact that the chicken man was completely calm. It was as if he didn't care. When the leader heard the noise and shouts of his minions, whose voices were quickly silenced, he turned to Shane in a panic and pleaded: " I only have 100,000 gold! Please, mercy!" "Alright, deal." Enough for the coop upgrade that Shane and his spouse have wanted for a long time.
"Heyyy, chill bro. Let's just talk, ok?" Unfortunately, Sam's smooth speech was met with only a rude "shut up, worthless musician!" in his direction. "I'm actually pretty good on guitar... So rude.." he muttered. When Farmer, angry as an ox, entered the room where their husband and the leader of the kidnapping "party" were, the kidnapper tried to soften the situation for themself. "They called me a worthless musician." The kidnapper turned around in horror at a smirking Sam. "And they also hit me." It wasn't true, but the kidnapper was already pale as ghost when Farmer turned red with rage after Sam's last words.
"Let me go now, or I'll kick your asses!" Though the ropes around Alex were tight, the athlete was unwilling to give up without a fight and continued to break free. "Shut up! You're going to pay for what your stupid Farmer-" "Don't you dare say that about my spouse!" The bravery was commendable, but the kidnapper was losing patience by now and wanted to send him into a knockout. But ended up knocking out themself as they didn't notice Farmer behind them. "What an asshole. I would have punched them!" Farmer reassured their really angry husband, as if it was Alex who was saving Farmer from bandits, not the other way around.
"Oh, Yoba..." Harvey would never have thought he would be kidnapped by anyone, but here he is - tied to a pole, surrounded by the six thugs. "Now we have to send a letter to that Farmer, and wait for the ransom, hehe. Easy money!" Harvey had been here for half an hour and was starting to get a little worried, but then he saw something in the distance that helped him gain confidence. "I hope, my friends, you stole my first aid kit too." "Need a sedative, doctor?" The leader didn't even have time to laugh at their own joke before they felt a chill run down their spine and turned around to see Farmer, sword in hand and an angry look in their eyes. "Not for me. For you."
Neither the gag nor the ropes helped - Abigail, irritated and angry, kicked, bit, punched and screamed as hard as she could, not giving her captors a moment's peace. Even with her sword taken away, the fighting girl put on quite a show, which made the bandits decide that the idea of ransoming Farmer wasn't such a great idea anymore. They were just thinking of letting Abby go free when Farmer came in, just as angry as their purple-haired wife. Abigail took back her sword and stood beside her spouse. The kidnappers made a note that they (if they survive) vow to themselves not to steal any more adventurers.
"So much negative energy around you... My friend, you can't live like that!" No matter how much the kidnapper tried to say that Emily wasn't their friend, but enemy's wife, the blue-haired girl insisted on helping her captor. Yes, she realises she's been kidnapped, but the lair she wasn't kept in was so dark and stuffy that of course this poor person is only thinking evil thoughts! Farmer who had made a huge hole in the wall with a furious punch had at least brought in some light. To the villain lying unconscious, Emily would leave a note with "get well soon!", diet tips and exercises for mind and body.
The criminals who had kidnapped Haley decided that if they were going to get any money for the already-not-so-easy job, they were going to spend half of it on hearing care. Because Haley was screaming so loudly that it looked like the kidnappers' eardrums had already burst. Plus the girl didn't spare her manicure and scratched the gangsters' hands, and someone's face. The leader was already tired, but Farmer literally breaking through the wall of their lair made it clear that it wasn't the worst yet. And Haley, freed from the ropes, ran to hug Farmer. Of course she wasn't afraid, for she knew her spouse would rescue her!
Penny sat as quietly as a mouse, afraid to anger the two thugs guarding her cage. She still can't understand how she was just walking from the farmhouse in Pelican Town to get groceries and a minute later she was kidnapped and ransomed from Farmer for 100,000 gold. Yoba, she's so scared, where is her spouse...? The answer to her question was not long in coming: Farmer kicked open the cell door, knocked out the guards, and took Penny in their arms as they both left the room. The girl was still scared and confused, which made Farmer want to kick the kidnappers' arse again. But their beloved wife came first, everything else - later.
To Leah's credit, before the gang of kidnappers could tie her hands, the artist managed to knock out two of them and throw a sculpture hammer at the head of the gang leader. Even being kidnapped, the girl did not lose her courage, giggling a little at the leader, who, already with a bump on their head, goes back and forth and promises that she and her spouse will pay for all the "humiliations they have suffered in the past". What those "humiliations" were Leah didn't have time to ask (and didn't really want to know) before Farmer broke into the room, knocked out the rest of the bandits and put another bump on the leader's head. All this to Leah's cheers. She wasn't scared at all.
Maru kept calm and thought of an escape plan. "Okay, no big deal. I memorised the path when they dragged me here. Now I need to break the ropes on my arms, sneak past the guards, turn left and-" Maru couldn't think of her plan any further as her spouse, furious at their wife's kidnapping, kicked the wall completely and started punching all the bandits left and right. "Oh, alright then." Considering she had only been kidnapped for less than half an hour, Maru didn't even have time to be frightened before she was already free, making her way around the kidnappers who were lying on the ground unconscious.
SVE bachelors/etter:
To be completely honest, Lance wasn't even that angry at his captors so much as he was slightly ashamed that he, the second in command of The First Slash Clan, had allowed himself to be captured by the amateurs, even if they had used magic for this. He made a note to himself to resume certain training. The pink-haired man already wanted to burn his ropes with magical fire, but his beloved spouse Farmer, agitated and angry as a swarm of wasps, kicked all the bandits' asses with sword and magic. Lance broke his ropes and joined the fight as well, though at first, the adventurer wanted not to rush his release, but to watch Farmer in battle with admiration and love.
"Again?" No need for Magnus' kidnapper to be so surprised - he is already old wizard, so he's seen a lot of things in his life and has been kidnapped before. Once even by mages from Gotoro, but that's a story for later. And while the kidnapper was able to take the wizard by surprise and strip him of his magic, it wouldn't work that way with his dear spouse. To which the villain shouted "I'll take away the Farmer's magic too!" Maybe, but Farmer would just start beating them with their bare hands. Which is exactly what happened half an hour ago. The enraged Farmer didn't leave a wet spot on the poor fella, so Magnus even cast a healing spell.
"Scared, white collar? Will you call your mommy for help? Or your spouse? Ha!" In any other situation, Victor would really be shaking with fear and not understanding whether the kidnappers would really hurt him if Farmer didn't pay for his ransom. But his spouse was Farmer, a man who just yesterday had slaughtered a hundred serpents at Skull Cavern as if it were a routine outing. "I'm afraid you're the one who's going to need help." And immediately after those words, Farmer burst into the room, angry and covered in blood (not their own). The kidnappers were pale, and Victor hurriedly closed his eyes, because he'd never seen Farmer so angry before. Which meant the bandits would get hurt. A lot.
"This is outrageous! How dare you take me against my will and steal my jewellery! Dragging me here, in this damp and filthy place where rats run around! Disgusting!" If the kidnappers were expecting cries for help, tears and pleas for mercy from Olivia, they will be quickly disappointed. She's a combative woman, and even huge bullies can't intimidate the ex-Joja accountant. She's dealt with worse, believe her. Well, the thugs think they'll at least get their money's worth, Olivia's dressed rich. Yeah, right... they'll just get a hit from an angry Farmer who turned up as soon as they found out where the bastards had taken their wife.
"They will pay... For all my creatures of darkness that they destroyed in Badlands, for all their exploits that made me unable to take over the Valley. Farmer will pay. And you're going to help me do it! When they come for you, I'll- Hey, are you even listening to me?!" Please forgive Claire, but the poor girl was so tired (work + family) that she slept through both her kidnapping and the gang leader's speech. The cashier woke up already when she felt someone carrying her in the arms. Her spouse looked at Claire with a smile, saying that she should immediately take a vacation and rest. Lying on the ground criminals, unconscious? Um, that was... part of a dream, yes. Just a strange dream.
"I advise you to let go, because when the Farmer comes here, you'll be sorry." At Scarlett's attempts to reason with her captors, the gang only mocked the girl. "We're waiting for Farmer, dumbass, it's an ambush!" Scarlett just sighed tiredly and waited - she had no choice. The bandits had already set traps everywhere, but Farmer was not only good at fighting, but also smart, and made an ambush on the ambush. Then caught the kidnappers off guard and kicked everyone's ass. "Warned ya," Scarlett even felt a little sorry for the bandits - they wouldn't be walking normally for a while.
Not knowing what was happening, trembling at the predatory grins of the strangers, Sophia cried quietly, trying not to make too much noise so as not to anger her captors. The villains haven't had time to get the ransom yet, and already they're arguing over who gets more gold. Farmer broke through the wall, shocking everyone. The tears on their pink-haired wife's cheeks were enough for Farmer to see red, and all the kidnapper-losers were knocked out. Before Sophia could even realise what had happened, she was already, freed, clinging to he's spouse's neck as Farmer carried her in bridal style. "Just like a fairy tale.... 💖"

Just thinking about how interesting things would've been if Dick had met Olivia (Blockbuster's daughter) after Chemo destroyed Bludhaven, and if he took Sophia and Olivia in during that time. The three of them would've had that shared trauma of Chemo and losing everything. Plus then you've got Dick having to take care of a kid who is completely innocent, but who happens to be the kid of the man who destroyed his life.
A vigilante, a mob boss's daughter, and a crime lord's daughter. You're seeing the potential of this combo, right? Right.

i saw you have a sophia fic brewing and i’d love to req for literally ANYTHING ELSE YOU HAVE OF HER. she’s such a perfect muse and i just love reading people’s thoughts on her 🥹🥹 any hcs?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing : sophialaforteza x brothersbff!reader
a/n : THIS IS LIKE A SPOILER FOR MY SOPHIA FIC COMJNG OTW. my it girl this month is sophia i love her face omg and her kindness on dream academy i cant. my angel.
Tumblr media
• sophia who tries to convince her friends she’s not into you and it was just a silly childhood crush. "i don't like her like that," she insists, arms crossed, looking almost offended at the accusation. her friends, however, know better. they exchange glances, barely holding in their laughter.
• she gives herself away all the time. like when she immediately straightens up whenever you walk into the room. or how her gaze subconsciously follows you when you’re talking to someone else. manon smirks. “oh, and what about how you always go quiet when she’s around?” “i do not—” daniela cuts in, deadpan. “you literally stop mid-sentence.” and right on cue, you walk by—brushing past sophia with a casual “hey, soph.” sophia freezes. entirely. her friends just watch. they watch as she visibly tenses, eyes wide, jaw slightly clenched like she’s trying to not react. the moment you disappear down the hall, her friends burst into laughter. "SHUT UP," she groans, face burning.
• whenever you call her name unexpectedly, she turns around way too fast and then tries to act normal, like her heart isn’t racing. her stomach flips at the sound of your voice saying her name, but she plays it off by raising an eyebrow. “what?” she asks, trying to look like she doesn’t care, crossing her arms. you just smirk, shaking your head. “nothing, you just looked cute in my jacket.” her friends bursts into laughter at how fast she turns beet red. “i thought this was Basil’s,” she tries to brush it off, tugging at the sleeves like that’ll somehow make the situation less mortifying.but then you tilt your head, smirking, “well, maybe this should be yours.”
• her friends gave eachother knowing glances and teasing smiles to sophia. she’s trying so hard not to react, but she can’t even come up with a snarky response her face is burning, her heart is pounding, and she’s pretty sure she just forgot how to breathe. “whatever,” she mutters, turning away in an attempt to save face, but she doesn’t take the jacket off. in fact, she wears it the rest of the day, pulling the sleeves over her hands whenever no one’s looking. sometimes she wears it at home but no one knows that of course.
• if you ever ruffle her hair or flick her forehead playfully, she’ll grumble about it but secretly loves the attention. “y/n, stop it,” she huffs, swatting your hand away, even though her ears are already turning pink. but the second you turn around, she’s fixing her hair with a small, hidden smile. her friends definitely catch it. if you don’t do it for a few days, she wonders if she did something wrong. like, are you mad at her? did you get bored of messing with her? she tells herself she doesn’t care, but when she sees you approaching in the hall, she stands a little closer, waiting to be fake annoyed.
• and when you finally ruffle her hair again, she’s about to grumble like usual, but then “ugh, y/n—” “hold on,” you cut her off, and before she can process it, you’re smoothing her hair back into place, carefully fixing the strands you just messed up. her breath catches. she just stares up at you, wide-eyed, completely frozen as your fingers lightly graze her scalp. her face is burning. “there. much better,” you say casually, like you didn’t just ruin her entire day in the best way possible.
• and then, to make things worse you give her a light pat on the head. like she’s some flustered little puppy. “good girl.” sophia doesn’t even breathe. she just stands there, stunned, mouth slightly open like she’s about to say something but nothing comes out. she watches you walk away with her brother groaning at you. once you were out of earshot her friends lose their minds immediately.
• megan is the first to react, nearly choking. “GOOD GIRL??” she gapes at soph, then turns to the others. “did i hear that right?” manon leans in, smirking. “sophia… if you’re still not into her, i’ll gladly take your place.” daniela hums, side-eyeing you as you casually walk off. “honestly? if you’re serious you dont want her, it’s open season.” sophia finally snaps out of it, whirling around. “SHUT UP. ALL OF YOU.”her friends just laugh, shaking their heads, because she’s so obvious.
• when she’s walking in the cafeteria, she subtly checks if you’re already there. if you are, she pretends she didn’t see you, but if you wave, she instantly wave back. sometimes, she tries to act like she’s so busy looking at her phone, but the second you greet her, her focus snaps to you. her wave is always a little awkward too stiff but you smile anyway, which makes it worth it.
• if you casually drape your arm around her shoulders, she stiffens for a solid three seconds before melting into it like it’s the most natural thing in the world. the first time it happened, she froze like a deer in headlights. now, she tries to act unbothered, even tilting her head slightly against you but if anyone teases her about it, she immediately pushes you off with a glare (but she doesn’t really mean it).
• the first time it happened, it was so unexpected. you had just casually thrown an arm around sophia’s shoulders like it was second nature—like it was normal. but for her? she almost passed out. meanwhile, you? completely unbothered. just chatting away like this was the most natural thing in the world. and after a solid three seconds of internal chaos, she relaxed. melted, even—because your arm was warm, your presence was familiar, and if she leaned just a little into you.
• tilts her head slightly against you? sure. shifts a little closer? okay. lets herself enjoy it? absolutely not. because the second someone (usually megan or manon) raises an eyebrow as they walk down the hallway, she immediately stiffens, shoving you off with a glare. "get off, y/n." you just laugh, raising your hands in surrender. "okay, okay." then she goes off to regroup with her friends. ignoring the way her cheeks burn. megan grins as she comes over. "you literally didn't care five seconds ago." "i DIDN’T NOTICE," sophia argues, glaring at her. but later at home, when you do it again effortlessly slinging your arm around her like it belongs there. she doesn’t push you away. she just pretends not to hear her heart pounding.
• whenever your band plays at school events, sophia acts completely unbothered. arms crossed, face neutral, like she’s barely paying attention. but the second the song ends? she’s the first to cheer. loud. enthusiastic. maybe even a little too eager. she swears she’s just there for her brother. just supporting the school. not because you’re on stage looking stupidly good under the lights. definitely not that. but her friends aren’t blind. her eyes never leave you the entire performance.
• and when you’re learning a new song? she’s suspiciously invested. “you should play this one next,” she says, casually sliding her phone across the table with a playlist already queued up. “oh?” you smirk, leaning in a little too close. “you been thinking about my setlist, baby?” immediate regret. her ears turn red. "shut up. just listen to it." and it doesn’t stop there. she finds excuses to hang around when you’re practicing in her basement with Basil and the others. she says it’s ‘boring’ at home, but everyone knows better.
• Basil groans every time she shows up. "you don’t even care about band stuff." “i can’t hang out with my brother now?” she huffs, plopping onto the couch like she belongs there. but the way she sits up the second you pick up your guitar? the way she suddenly has opinions on which songs you should cover? yeah. Basil’s not buying it. "jesus, if you like her so much, just say that." “i do not.” but the giddy little smile she tries (and fails) to hide when you invite her to listen to the set. tells him otherwise.
• sometimes she texts you late at night, she spends at least five minutes rereading what she wrote before pressing send. and if you take more than a minute to reply, she convinces herself that she said something dumb and deletes it. the next morning she’s met by your text “??” “nothing”
• if you ever notice something small about her—like a new bracelet or how she tied her hair differently she thinks about it for the rest of the day. “nice bracelet, soph.” your voice is so casual, like you didn’t just send her entire nervous system into overdrive. she blinks down at her wrist, lips parting slightly, suddenly hyper-aware of the little beaded bracelet she put on that morning. “oh… thanks,” she mumbles, trying to play it cool, but the second you walk away, she’s staring at it like it’s the only thing in the world. her friends don’t miss the way she keeps glancing at it, fiddling with the beads between her fingers. “you’re so obvious,” lara snickers, nudging her side. “mind your business,” sophia hisses, face burning, but even as she says it, she tugs her sleeve down over her wrist. she suddenly wants to protect it from the world.
• when you laugh at one of her jokes, even if it’s dumb, she gets this little proud smile and immediately tries to think of another one to keep you laughing. sometimes she catches herself laughing when you laugh too. it’s like muscle memory. now, whenever she gets the rare chance to make you laugh, she feels this ridiculous sense of accomplishment, like she just won something.
• sometimes, even when she’s not trying, she still finds herself smiling just because you are. like earlier today when you were joking around with her brother. she had no idea what was even said, but you were laughing, and next thing she knew, she was already smiling. she’s not even focusing, but whenever she sees you smile, she smiles too.
• “what are you smiling at?” daniela teased, catching her in the act. sophia immediately wiped the smile off her face, turning away. “nothing.” but the both of them knew it wasnt nothing.

— (NOT SO) MERRY CHRISTMAS
sophia laforteza x fem!reader
summary: after seeing sophia for some time now, you thought it'd be good to surprise her with a gift for the holidays before she goes back home. only to discover a few things.
warnings/tags: angst, language, established relationship, cheating, not proofread
don't ask how i came up with this cause idk! its short but here 🤲
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
staring at the neat, prettily made present you had made the day prior, you're not sure why you're hesitating. you're parked in your car in front of sophia's house, tapping your fingers on the steering wheel in the rhythm of the song playing through the car's speakers. maybe because this was the first time you deliberately thought out a gift and tried to do your absolute best to make sure it was perfect. maybe because it was also the first time you were getting a gift for someone you really loved and cared about. with a deep breath, you get out of the car and start making your way to the front door.
as you approach the house, you can faintly hear music playing inside. the familiar christmas music echoing through the walls outside. peeking your head through the window near the door, you can see sophia in the kitchen from afar, making a small smile form on your face. then, as you take another step towards the door, you freeze, the smile instantly fading away.
a girl walks from the other room, going over to sophia and wrapping her arms around her, and then kissing her. your heart drops to your stomach at the scene, your eyes glancing between the door you were two steps away from and the woman you thought was your girlfriend kissing someone else. you can feel your throat closing up, and you don't know what to do.
looking down at the gift in your hands, you can feel tears prickling in your eyes. looking back up, your teary eyes go wide when they meet sophia's through the window. seeing the way her face drops, you hastily set the present down on the porch before going back to your car.
you hear the front door open and slam shut, you hear your name being called, you hear the hurried footsteps from behind you, but it doesn't make you stop. the second you put your hand on the door handle of your car, another hand grabs it and yanks you away from it.
"yn, baby, i can explain," is the first sentence to come from sophia's mouth, making you finally look at her.
"explain what?" your voice cracks. "that-that you're seeing someone else?"
the destroyed look on your face makes it all even worse for sophia who's trying to quickly come up with some sort of reason for it, but failing. "i'm not– it's nothing, i swear!"
"you were just kissing!" you exclaimed, the tears in your eyes nearing the point of falling. "i'm not stupid, sophia! i-i just wanted to give you your gift before you leave a-and it was just a waste! a fucking waste!"
there are tears streaming down your face as you start yelling at sophia, and she's to stunned to speak, not knowing what to do or how to fix this. she tries to reach for your hand, but you instantly pull away and take a step back from her. "yn, please, let me explain," she says, her voice shaky.
"no!" you shake your head furiously. "yo-you never really loved me, did you?"
sophia's eyes go wide at your question, and the way your voice got so quiet that she could barely hear it. her heart breaks at the look on your face along with the tears falling down your cheeks. "i do, of course i do," she responds. "she– that is nothing, i swear. you have to listen to me."
"then why weren't you answering my texts? i told you i was on my way and you never responded. y-you always say that you'll find a way to respond, and yet i texted you multiple times a-and you never answered." you can't even look at her anymore, your hands balled up into fists covering your eyes as the tears pour. "why would you lie to me?"
"i would never lie to you," sophia says, hesitantly reaching her hands out to grab yours. "you have to understand, yn, please."
you pry your hands out of her grip, shaking your head. "there's nothing to understand here. you thought you could sneak around and not get caught. well guess what, sophia? they always get caught." you manage to get out as strongly as you can, unlocking your car and opening the door, getting in and shutting it.
"yn, please just let me explain!" sophia looks at you through the window, her voice raising slightly so you could hear over the music that started playing.
you roll down your window just slightly to speak through it. "enjoy your christmas, sophia," you tell her before rolling it up again, and putting your car in drive to leave.
sophia stares at your car as you drive off and leave her line of sight, tears in her eyes as she glances around. she can suddenly feel the cold air hitting her skin as she falls back into reality of what just happened, wiping the stray tears that had trailed down her cheeks. she stands outside for a while, almost hoping you would come back, but you never do. she slowly walks back up to the porch, reaching down and grabbing the present you brought before walking inside. she doesn't utter a word except "get out" as she walks past the mistake she made, going up to her room with the gift in her hands.
sitting on her bed, she takes the card out from under the ribbon you tied around the box, opening it and seeing your handwriting.
'i thought it might be a good idea to get you something that reminded you of home, so i made this for you. i hope you like it. i love you.' signed with your initials at the bottom.
putting the card down, she slowly undoes the ribbon and peels off the wrapping paper you put so much work into making look pretty. when she opens the box, it reveals a portrait – hand drawn – of the picture originally taken with her family with you and her in the middle when you came with her to visit them last year. she immediately remembers the picture you were referring to, which makes tears quickly form in her eyes again as she stares at it for a long while.
sophia grabs her phone and goes to your contact, her thumb hovering over the call button as she hesitates to press it. after a minute or two, she sighs and turns her phone off, knowing better than to call you when you're so upset. she puts the portrait on her dresser and then sits back down on the bed, looking down at the ground. "fuck."
you end up driving to your friend daniela's place, who immediately brought you inside once she saw the sight of you, taking you up to her bedroom to get away from her family downstairs. you didn't say much except mumble a few words that explain what happened, making the latina's eyes widen when she processes it.
"everything will be okay," daniela tells you, sitting next to you on her bed with your head leaning on her shoulder. "you can stay here for the night."
"are you sure?" you murmur quietly. "i don't want to intrude your family's holidays."
"they love you, you know that they wouldn't mind you being here," she replies, grabbing your hand and rubbing her thumb across your knuckles. "do you want some food? i can bring it up to you."
you meekly shake your head, curling up closer into the latina's side as you mumble a response. "i just want to sit here."
"okay," daniela nods. she glances down at you, seeing the tear stained marks on your cheeks and wondering just how much you cried within the half an hour it happened and you drove over here. "you'll be okay, i promise," she whispers quietly.
a hum leaves your throat in response, closing your eyes as you finally begin to relax. "thank you for being here, dani," you murmur.
"of course. i'll always be here for you, no matter what," daniela replies, hearing your breathing starting to slow to a calm level nearing the edge of sleep. she turns off the lamp lighting the room, leaving you two in the dark as she lays you down on the bed, pulling the blanket over you as you fall asleep as soon as your head hits the pillow. her gaze lingers on you for a moment before she forces herself to look away and up at the ceiling, letting out a short sigh. what a great christmas.

Lara x Reader
Perfect gift
The holidays are coming way too fast for you this year and you couldn't find the perfect gift for your girlfriend.
Lara kept saying she doesn't want anything when everybody knows she'd be pissed if you actually don't get her a gift.
And you for sure no better than to mess with a Scorpio.
So here you are pacing around every store you can think of, waiting for Sophia to come help you.
After the birthday gift she gave your girlfriend and the reaction Lara had, you knew she would have great input.
"Y/N ! Please slow down, I've been trying to catch up with you since that perfume store two blocks away. I'm in heels goddam."
You turned around facing a panting Sophia, bending forward hands on her knees trying to catch her breath.
"Oh my god I'm so sorry Soph, I was so in my head I didn't pay attention."
She stood up and gave you a shove.
"It's alright, I know how stressed you are. Lucky for you I'm here to rescue you."
She gave you the biggest smile, trying to cheer you up.
"Hopefully you can, I'm starting to think I don't even know my own girlfriend at this point."
You phone rang but you didn't pick up, even though you knew who it was.
Sophia gave you a questioning look though.
"It's Lara, she wanted us to spend the day together. She keeps trying to know what I'm doing today but it's a secret. She'll try to know what I'm getting her and I still don't have a present or even the mere idea of one. I feel like a failure."
Sophia frowned and put her hand on your shoulder.
"Wow wow wow, don't talk about yourself like that. You really need to relax, getting a gift for someone shouldn't make you that anxious."
"But I have nothing and Christmas is right around the corner. I need the perfect gift, Lara deserves so much, she makes me so happy."
Sophia wiped a fake tear.
"That's so cute I'm gonna cry. Okay let's find the perfect gift for the love of your life."
She grabbed onto your arm and led you towards the next store.
~~~
Lara was pissed, she's been texting you for the past two hours and you didn't even read her texts.
From the kitchen, Manon heard her throw her phone against the wall. She got curious and popped her head in her room.
"Everything alright ?"
Lara sighed.
"Y/N isn't responding to me."
Manon raised an eyebrow, confused. Clearly she forgot your escapade was a secret.
"Isn't she shopping with Sophia ?"
Lara's eyes widened.
"What do you mean, she's shopping with Sophia ?"
Manon showed her her phone and the story Sophia had put up on her finsta where you were both smiling , loads of shopping bags in your arms.
Now Lara was fuming.
Because you were clearly enjoying yourself with someone else when you couldn't make time for her and because you didn't invite her to hang with her own friend.
And hell did Sophia block her ?
~~~
When you entered the house some time later, Manon looked at you with big 'I fucked up' eyes.
You didn't need any words to know what had probably happened. You took a big breath before knocking on Lara's door.
No response just a small grunt.
As you entered you saw Lara in her bed facing the wall, sad music playing on her phone.
"Babe ? Are you alright ?"
Lara didn't say anything but she turned around to face you, letting you see that she'd been crying by her puffy eyes and running mascara.
You sat next to her, you thought she'd be angry but she just seemed sad.
"How long have you been cheating on me with Sophia ?"
Your eyes widened.
"What ? What are you talking about ? I'm not cheating on you, I would never."
She tried to read your face for a few seconds, looking for any sign that you might be lying.
"Then what were you doing with Soph ?"
"What did Manon tell you ?"
Lara looked at you.
"It's doesn't matter what she told me. What matters is that you rather spend the day with someone else than me and you can't even just text me to tell me."
You had to tell her the truth as much as you'd like to keep it secret, you could see that she needed complete honesty at this point for her to trust you.
"I'm the one that called Sophia and asked her to spend some time with me."
At those words you could sense Lara get tense. You grabbed her hand carefully, afraid she might refuse but she didn't.
"I called her because I needed help finding the perfect gift for you for the holidays. I didn't tell you 'cause I was ashamed to need someone else's help when it came to you."
Lara frowned but you could feel her relaxing.
"You were doing it for me ? And I just acted like a jealous girlfriend, jumping on conclusions for nothing."
You chuckled.
"I wouldn't say that, but I was indeed on a secret quest for you today."
"So.. did you succeed ?"
Her frown was now replaced by a small smirk.
"I think I did but I won't know for sure until you open them tomorrow".
"We'll see tomorrow then".
She kissed your cheek and put her head on your shoulder.
"I'm sorry for doubting you."
