God I was meant for generational wealth. Like I have an old-money soul. My tastes are expensive, alternating between high-class sophestication and batshit crazy rich widow.

Set up his own little business, a service such as 'rent-a-housewife', because he enjoys all things domestic, and he figured there is a market for it in form of single parents or busy business moguls. So far, it has been a lucrative business, in the sense that he can live quite comfortable. He is by no means rich but does have enough money left over after the usual expenses.

Upbeat, bright and warm. Has big brotherly air to him, but also can be quite motherly when it comes to younger kids. He is quick to settle into the role his customer seeks, be it a more sophesticated or something relaxed. All of this made easy from him being an omega first and foremost.

Out of the chores he usually does, he enjoys cleaning the most.

His delinquent years have left a mark or two in his records, but overall he's a trustworthy person. Despite having left his more wild years in the past, doesn't mean that he wouldn't stand up for himself or his own beliefs. He can and will fight.

Jirou was born into a normal loving family, with supportive parents, so his delinquent years were purely for fun and entertainment. Or that's what he thought, at least.

In addition, he's also a sub type. Due to being a sub, he does sometimes visit facilities where he can meet up with a Dom in a safe environment in order to get his type-needs met, tho not in a sexual way most of the time. He just wants to be able to relax and not be in control for a while. It helps him with reducing stress. At a minimum, he visits these places once a month, but tries to it at least bi-weekly.

On his free time, he reads various cook books, watches tutorials on the internet and also enjoys a few games in the local archade.

My reaction to the fact the editors decided to publish that particular reader’s drawing is ‘disappointed but not surprised’. I’ve seen examples of casual racism of Asian people from other British comics (such as the Beano) published around the same time period, so this isn’t like, completely out of nowhere but still not nice to see.

Moving on from that heavy topic and going back to the Chaotix story. As I said last time I refreshed on the story of Knuckles Chaotix and tbh while Metal Sonic is a significant part of that game’s story, I still don’t get what the deal is with these two small Metallixs

I was half-tempted to bring it up last issue but now that it’s continuing this issue I really gotta say it; in almost every single panel of this story, Nack is making this exact fucking pose. Why??

Between issues I also took a look at the manual for Knuckles Chaotix; it says Espio ‘has a temper’ while Charmy is ‘surprisingly sophesticated’. Quite the difference from their later personalities in Heroes onwards.

Nack: screws up then decides ‘fuck this shit, I’m out’. Is he just in this story because they couldn’t come up with a tie-in story for Sonic Triple Trouble?

There’s no canon evidence because Soman was writing the Hicola/Hophie love triangle, but if you look at their personalities objectively, they would make a great pairing.

Nicola is the only person who can challenge Sophie. Agatha lets Sophie do whatever because like,, that’s her best friend. Tedros goes back and forth between allies and distrusting her but Agatha stops him from throwing hands. Hort is a doormat. However, Nicola’s LITERAL INTRODUCTION was that she’s strong, super smart, and says exactly what she thinks. 

I think they look good together, aesthetic wise. 

There’s probably a LOT of banter and bickering and overall being fed up of one another. 

The only reason you wouldn’t ship Nicphie is that you either don’t like Nicola, or you stan Hophie.

Agaster

They’re inseparable. Best friends to lovers. 

There isn’t much canon Hestadil though, so I put them lower.

This relationship has been clearly established since Book 1 and there’s no use NOT shipping it.

Val shoves it down my throat so like. I Guess. 

Ravan was under-developed, but he sounds cool as fuck (he’s the descendant of a god, he’s seen to be Hester’s equal and gains respect among his peers, he’s described as attractive, and he’s driven and ruthless)

I dislike Hort so that’s the only part of this ship that’s sinking it. 

If Hort was characterized as an awkward himbo AND NOT A CREEPY SPYING ON GIRLS TYPE, I’d ship it more. 

Bettophie

I really don’t know why [OTK spoiler] she was killed? I would have rather read about Bettina having a fake death than Hort. 

Again, Enemies to Lovers dynamic. Similar to Nicphie except instead there’s like two seconds of Bettophie interaction. 

They’re alright. 

Sophester

I only halfway ship this because I wrote a fic about them (The Love for Glory and Gore link in bio) and we’ll see if this grows any further. 

This is like, if you shipped Agaphie before you knew they were sisters, and you’re still confused and betrayed at that plot twist. This is for you. The dynamic is the same thing, except they’re both evil. 

Hester once said that Sophie is too powerful even for her to defeat. I don’t know if that counts, but it’s definitely a sign. (And Hester is neither impressed nor intimidated easily, Sophie does both).

Tophie

They’ll never happen again, and thank god they’ll never be used as a plot device again. I think everyone hypes up how terrible they were (obviously Tophie isn’t a perfect match, but it’s not like the end of the earth). 

Okay but imagine Never! Tedros with Sophie as a fling. Not bad.

What Is a Simile?

They're all important when writing though. Making unconventional comparisons at times using similes and metaphors can add to your writing and make it much more layered and sophesticated. Eg:
