the mcytblr election !! while this is my first, it’s the third election held! they tend to happen every few months. in short, a bunch of blogs get together and form “parties” to run for election as the president of mcytblr. it’s all for fun and rp tbh, there isn’t really… like anything you Win beyond that.

the @mcytblr-elections-2021 blog is the one running the event, aka tracking the parties made and officiating the rules for the event AND will be the one running the poles when voting time comes around (which I believe rn is unannounced)

PERSONALLY, I’m helping run sootings2021 which proposes we elect Wilbur’s old tumblr as president bc it would be funny, but there’s plenty of other amazing parties running!! balls2021, tapeworm2021, qlsc2021, lemon2021, and so many more!! some ppl are even reprising their party from the very first election :]

it’s all for good fun and casual political rp of our own, with some upping their own campaigns, slandering others, blogs acting as neutral third parties you have to win over for them to support your campaign, blogs acting as journalists, etc!

im not voting for sootings2021 but the concept of one of the political parties basically weekend at bernies-ing wilbur's dead tumblr account into a presidency is hilarious

it really is!! like im really torn because my friends and mutuals have parties and there's a lot of cool people who i've looked at their campaign stuff, but wilbur soot being elected president unknowingly would be a great beautiful thing to happen in this ugly terrible world
