Full House AU Part 3: Shopping

Summary: Logan has to leave town for a mutant summit; he trusts Wade to keep up with the girls training. Wade has a different idea of fun… (Based on results from the poll)

A/N: This has been my fave idea so far! I hope ya’ll enjoy. I'm probably gonna have another poll for the next idea. From here on out this will be a weekly series that will be posted each Monday. If you have any ideas for future chapters or storylines please comment!

“Wade, I'm trusting you to do this while I’m gone at the summit, okay?”

Logan was just about to leave for a summit on mutant rights. He is attending as moral support for his fellow X-Men, Jean and Storm. They will be giving a speech on mutant rights and activism in front of thousands of guests.

”I got it Lo.’ Give the girls a training session and help them study for their combat tests,” Wade says while helping his husband pack.

”Okay, but no funny business okay? Take them to the danger room, help them with their homework, make them dinner, and then tell them to go to bed,” Logan says with a serious look on his face. He knew Wade tended to get a little off track when hanging out with the girls.

“Yes sir,” Wade says while giving Logan an exaggerated military salute.

A few hours later Logan is on his way to Los Angeles for the summit, while Wade and Logan’s four foster daughters, Rogue, Kitty, Jubilee, and Laura, have just arrived home from school. Wade gives each of his daughters a kiss on the forehead as they come in.

“How was school girls? Were you and Remy caught sneaking out of class again? Yeah, I heard about that” He says with a smirk while looking at Rogue.

”No but Remy asked Rogue to go homecoming with him!” Kitty squeals.

“Yeah, he painted a whole bouquet of roses black just for her!” Jubilee gushes; happy for her sister.

Laura smirks clearly, finding her usually cool goth older sister blushing.

Wade smiles. He is proud of all the progress Rogue has made since she was welcomed into his and Logan’s home. Just a short while ago Rogue was too scared to touch a guy much less date him; now she was going to a school dance.

”Well I’m happy for you Peanut. However, we have a lot of work to do. We gotta train in the danger room for a bit then get working on some schoolwork.” He tries his best to exude the serious aura that makes the girls heed Logan’s commands.

“AWWWW why?” Jubilee pouts, “I was gonna play my new game.”

“I was gonna listen to the new Ethel Cain album.” Rogue sighs disappointed.

Laura motions to a stack of comics in her hand indicating she found reading the new releases more important than training at the moment.

”I was gonna force Rogue to come with me to the boutique to pick out her homecoming dress.” Kitty says while looking down at the ground.

That… that gave Wade an idea. No. He promised Logan he would help the girls get their tasks done.

”None of your usual funny business,” he thought to himself.

An hour later the girls were hard at work in the danger room. Rogue was using her super strength to rescue Jubilee from a crumbled building in the simulation while Kitty was using her phasing ability to rescue Laura from a prison cell.

After they have completed the challenge, Wade tells the girls to take a break.

”You’d look stunning in an emerald green dress.”

“Or maybe with a little tiara to match?”

”You should wear heels!”

Suddenly the talk of the girls about Rogue’s homecoming outfit becomes overwhelming as all the girls are talking over each other at once.

”All right! All right!” Wade raises his voice so the girls can hear him over their chatter.

”Okay, I know you girls are very excited about Rogue’s plans. And, I know you are not gonna be able to settle down and work on school assignments until Rogue gets her dressed. Soooooooooo we are going on a family shopping trip.” Wade was trying to justify his actions to himself. He secretly just wanted to spoil his daughters and get them all pretty outfits to wear.

The girls all jump in excitement. Even though Laura wouldn’t be able to attend homecoming being too young, she still wanted to see her sister look all pretty.

“And ALL of you are getting something pretty and badass to wear. You don’t need dates to have fun at a dance. Any guy or girl would be lucky to have a night out with you.” Wade says visibly excited about being able to spoil his daughters.

About half an hour later they arrive at a boutique that sells formal dresses.

”Alright! We are not gonna be looking at price tags today girls, pick out whatever makes you feel beautiful.” Wade says giving the girls free reign over the store.

”And you are gonna be my little helper!” Wade says, looking at Laura. “You’re gonna use that brutally honest side that you got from your father and make sure your sisters pick out the outfit that suits them best.”

Laura smiles at Wade ready to help her sister.

Rogue was up first. Her three top choices were a black skin-tight satin dress paired with black formal gloves, a short dark green velvet dress with a corset top, and a long dark purple dress that had a high waistline and a puffy skirt.

After a harsh judgment from Laura, she decided on the green one ultimately. She paired the dress with black platform heels and black formal gloves.

Kitty was stuck between choosing a short satin pink dress and a long tight light blue dress. The grossed-out expression on Laura’s face alerts her immediately that the blue dress is not the one for her.

Jubilee is immediately drawn to a fancy yellow jumpsuit that suits her unique style. Luckily, Laura loves it as well.

After Wade pays for the girls’ outfits, he stares at the receipt in shock.

Logan was gonna kill him. Maybe worse considering he can’t actually die. He was sure whatever Logan was gonna do once he saw how much money he spent was way worse than death.

The next night Logan came home from his summit. When he got home he immediately went looking for his husband

“Wade. I saw the charge on my credit card. A THOUSAND DOLLARS?! FOR WHAT???”

Wade looks down sheepishly. “I just wanted to help Rogue feel more confident.”

Logan raises his eyebrow at him. “Did you at least train with them?”

Wade nods “Oh yes I did! They were much more productive after getting them the dresses! And… I actually spent one thousand and five dollars.” He says while pulling out a coffee mug with words “World’s Best Husband” on it.

Logan takes the mug and lets out a small smile. “Okay… I guess your way works too sometimes. I don’t always have to be so strict on the girls.”

”Well if it wasn’t for you we would never get anything done. I would have drained our bank account ages ago.”

The girls watch their dads interact and sigh. They complement each other perfectly.

im soooooooooo picky w volo portrayals truly but i love yours a BUNCH. it feels like such an obvious Thing to make now but i genuinely hadnt considered immortal volo before ur blog and i love the concept very much and your take especially!! ur volo feels like a natural progression of canon pla volo. like he's not the same character but that's sort of the point! does that make sense? i've seen redemption arc volo and i've seen nah fuck it we ballin lets keep tryin 2 end the world volo but i like yours better than both of those. its so hard to really nail ''neutral'' characters but you do such a good job with him. he's still a manipulative and charming little piece of shit (/positive) but like holy shit the Regret and self hatred brings so so so so much to him i literally cant even explain it??? HES JUST SO?????? god... like when volo finally dropped in pokemon masters for a hot sec reading his story stuff i was genuinely like "ummm not MY volo???" your volo is just so ingrained in my head that pokemon masters volo feels ooc to me.

i like him sooooo much. so much!!! love seeing him be a smarmy little flirt in general because like thats SO HIM but we obv dont get to see that in canon but i am 1000% sure that off screen volo was flashing his pretty boy eyelashes at everyone for sure.

actually, y'know, idek when was the last time I talked about ygo abridged

like if I happen to be on tumblr when an ep comes out I'm like *O* and I'll post about it cause to me tumblr was always a "get your feelings out in the moment" site so in those moments I'm like aaaah new ep!

but never like talk talked about it, last time would be over 10 years ago defo

honestly? its special to me. Ive a great memory but I defo struggle with this not knowing the order, so it was either a) I decided to finally watch AN ANIME for the first time ever and put on inuyasha, THEN got curious about returning to yugioh and discovered season 0 and THEN watched the abridged or b) I randomly remembered I'd never seen the end of ygo and so looked up amvs of it on youtube thus discovering ygo season 0 came first and then found the abridged through that and THEN realised I wanted to welcome anime into my life and so I started Inuyasha and sooooo on down I went, the anime road from then on

so, ygo abridged is at the beginning of that journey

at that time in my life, I was heavily struggling with ocd. and I was ditching school a lot. if I wasn't hiding in the town library for 6 hours, I was at a friends who decided to ditch with me. I had my two reliables. and we always watched the abridged together. quoted it non-stop. eventually I was dating a lad for a month, and when we broke up (he had the same friends as me), HE started quoting the abridged with them as well cause they showed it to him. made me MAD! lmao

it was also something I watched every time we went on a ride to look at houses during the recession in 2009-2010. those long drives. abridged kept me and my brother sane lol

and then cut to being online with online friends, and tumblr, we all shared the abridged love with each other.

it was just unfortunate the episodes were rarer at that point but definitely... more frequent than they are now. they were coming out prob around 4.... times a year. maybe? whereas they used to be weekly. so that was a big change.

and now they're once a year. you're lucky if there's 2.

but here's the thing.

yeah its a parody. but idk... the fact that you can just pick up where you left off every time and not be a confused mess makes me happy. the fact that the characters are so distinctive and you never forget their personality traits is amazing to me.

I'm just proud of LK bc he could have dropped it a long time ago. I've seen youtube channels have their hype years and then fans disappear CONSTANTLY. video views going from 2.5 mill to maybe 30k. it happens.

but a good chunk of people who have been watching the abridged now for 15 years now or more still get excited when a new once a year ep drops. you just pick it up, have a giggle fest, wipe away a tear and then move on. never sitting there in anticipation for the next cause you know it'll be a while. just... happy to go on youtube and see one randomly there on a random day when you're not looking for it.

it fills me with joy.

my ONLY con here is that, bruh, season 5 to me is the best ygo arc. I been wanting to see that shit abridged for soooooooooo fucking long. there's so many scenes that I wanna know what he does with. I want to see Bakura without Marik, cause LK's flaw with Bakura was that he knew how to write Marik on his own but not Bakura on his own. so I wanna see that more. I wanna see what he does with Set and Kisara, what direction he goes. I love Joey's ghost moments in the main show so I I'm hyped for that.

the sad thing about it is being hyped for something I prob wont see till.......................... 2028? 2030?

probably.

but I'll still be watching. if he makes it that far anyway <3

Hi there wonderful!!!! Sorry it took me so long to get to this!!! It made me so happy to see, but unfortunately, life happened, ya know? So here it is!

This one is SOooooooooo hard for a few reasons XD I've written so much already, I don't know if I actually remember all my closing lines XD But the other problem is......I do love a lot of what I write XD (I really hope that isn't vain to say, I just love witting and sometimes I can get proud of what I put down at times.) But here's one:

The past was gone, existing only in their memories now to be held dear and close to their hearts; the future was theirs to make or break; the present was all they really had–so each day needed to be grasped for the gift it was.

This is an excerpt from "The Day Everything Changed" in my "The Days We Hold Dear" collection of short stories about Omega and the Batch.

ohhhhh heh. heh. heh. Since we all know I'm not a stranger to angst, right XD dis one be hard XD But I think this one takes some of my cake:

“‘Meg, I know you loved him. I loved him too. But he loved you so much that he sacrificed himself for you. He would and did protect you with everything he had, ok? Because you’re worth it. You’re our little sister. Nothing will change that or how we protect you—he was perhaps the best of us but in our book, you are kid.” He swallowed. “He didn’t want it to be you and he wouldn’t have it any other way.” Hunter had to tell her because she clearly didn’t see it. His chest burned and it felt like his insides were twisting and sitting in acid. He had to tell her the ugly truth. He couldn’t live with it inside his mind and spitting it out was even harder. “He was my little brother, I was supposed to protect him…I failed. I am so, so sorry, Omega. If you should be angry at anyone, it should be me. I didn’t do everything that I should have. I could have gone with him, but didn’t. I should have made him come…anything…” “Hunter, if it’s not my fault, it’s not yours either.” He wouldn’t and couldn’t see it that way. “Omega, I know you’re hurting but you don’t have to go through this alone. Let me help you. We’re both broken, but the only way we can heal is if we help each other through it.”

It is from a piece called "Though Broken, We'll Mend Each Other" from my "Hunter's Stress Journal" series. It makes more sense in the contents of the story but :P

I’m so sorry it took me so long! 😭 I fell asleep then lost the ask, I had someone to take care of so I would stop and lose the ask again, and now I finally can type it all out 🤣. You wanted a update and I need to talk about chapter 26 so here we go!

Since I made you wait here is the update first… I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl! She is a tall baby and weighed 6.13 lbs! There were a few things that happened during birth (I tore a bit and also had to be put on oxygen) and resulted me being on bed rest. So that’s what I’m doing and taking care of me and my lovely daughter who loves sleep! I have so many marvel onsies that I put her in and now I’m waiting for all her Loki stuff to come in! 🥰 I may or may not have gone a lil crazy on the Loki stuff 😅 and the baby Groot stuff!!!! Omg the baby Groot stuff for babies is soooooooooo cute! I also really love bats so all her swaddles are bat related. 😅 Her nursery is pastel green and completely marvel related! 🥰🥰🥰 Loki, Wanda, Natasha, Captain Marvel, Iron Man, Peggy Carter, these are the things in her nursery. She also loves the Avengers movie, I have it playing on a loop. It keeps her calm. Thor the dark world she reacts positively whenever Loki starts talking. She also reacts positively whenever the hulk roars or Banner talks so I am pretty happy with her choice in marvel characters so far!

Now Chapter 26, I feel bad that Steve just used Bucky (not that I am surprised or anything) but he made his bed and deserved what he got. Go Loki for protecting her, especially with everything that they have done to her. They kept terrorizing her and that’s major trauma that is going to take a very long time for her to get over. And Katlyn being next really makes me happy because that girl roofied her and sent someone else up to take advantage of her! That spoiled brat deserves the worst kind of punishment and I hope she ends up totally humiliated and her career is ruined. I also love how on their side Peter is. It sucks to lose love but proud that he realized his mistake and the recordings Loki has now on the family is definitely enough to ruin them but not enough to put people like Steve and Katlyn in jail. How did their parents raise them to think that rape and SA was ok to get what they want? This has to be more than their dad cheating on their mother. Maybe something in her mother’s will about her share of the money? Idk. And Rocky being confused irks me like why are you confused that they were in her room when you don’t pay attention to your daughter to begin with? Rocky is nothing but a terrible sperm donor and I also cannot wait to see him fall apart. Steve especially!

Anyways you are amazing as always darling! Hope you are taking care of yourself and ignoring the haters! You got this and cannot wait to see what you write next! I may have a request but I have been debating on it 😅🤣

random headcanon: Wicked talented at a bunch of stuff. He was already skilled at a lot of things but since his identity as an actual nation went into decline, he’s gained a lot of free time. He’s picked up a lot of hobbies and he just knows how to do a little bit of everything. He’s like a retired old man. He goes to local community centers or colleges and offers to teach classes or just helps neighbors out with whatever they need; I think he really just needs to do things cause if he’s left alone to sit idly at home he gets too much inside his own head. He likes being active and he gets upset when his body gives out much quicker than it used to. Reminders of how different he is now from his brother and best friends are ones he avoids.

unpopular opinion: He’s kind of one my least favorite characters. I don’t hate him but the content to enjoy him is really specific. Maybe being in this fandom for so long and just going through everyone liking him in 2012 just... I don’t know. I see moments where his character really shines and I want more of that. I guess what I hate is what he sort of got reduced to in the fandom and how I see him written in so many fics. I’ve been seeing a major turn around in recent years and I’m very happy for it.

“Dawner”??? I can read katakana, ya idjits. His name is Akatsuki. Update: The translator must’ve gone, “Dawn is a girl’s name. Let’s tack on an -er so it looks like a guy’s name.”

Aw, Hiro Shimono is Akatsuki. If it were Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, we could’ve gotten a Kirito joke out of it.

Oh! 快眠 (Kaimin) = good rest, literally “happy sleep”. Hence this is the nation of Goodreste. I see.

The lightning effect is soooooooooo cool! *eyes glitter at the particle effects*

The little fanfare is so cute and the yokudekimashita reminds me of my days playing the arcade game Bomberman (which had a flower sticker much like this one). I wanna see this get a dub and succeed on all its merits! It’s basically my baby already…bar the fact it took a bit to work up to the first good bit of comedy.

The teddy demons are called Debiakuma, a pun on kuma (bear), devil and akuma (devil). Lessee…After “lesser demon”, there’s more text…“Fluffy bears that can be also used as pets. They give in easily to temptation. A lot of them live in the demon castle, so the princess likes to gather their fur, dye it and spin nice cotton out of it. Okay, my turn again: Hari means needle, toge means thorn. Next to “His stomach is soft”, part of the subs are cut off due to Funimation’s hardsubs, but I can read “he is proud of his defence” on the 2nd line, “is the type to not refuse when relied on” on the 2nd-last line and “his favourite food is strange bird chawanmushi” on the last line.

I love how parts of the castle are upside down for no reason at all except to look cool…architects must hate that, though.

I remember seeing spoilers for a twist at the end…let’s hope I don’t anticipate it. That would kill the entire anime for me.

The message actually says something about how the island is a nest for enemies of humanity.

There’s the ice narcissist I saw in the promo stuff, right on cue. I’ve never heard of his voice actor Hiromichi Tezuka before, although he does sound like Hiroshi Kamiya or someone much better.

Why do I get the feeling once the title character arrives, even Nanao will get powers…? Or maybe Nana is the catalyst for Nanao’s powers awakening or something? (Just realised having a Nana and a Nanao together in the same anime is confusing…)

Subbers spelt “noblesse oblige” wrong, unless it was deliberately done as such.

I predicted the “duke it out” line.

Maybe Nanao’s “talent” is his leadership stat or something?

If he worked for a black company with no overtime and so forth, how did he know about a recent anime trend, eh??? Sounds suspect. Update: Unless he was thinking about 90s isekai, which still involved less reincarnation than this.

I noticed the gods have senbei (the rice crackers with the seaweed). Western-looking gods probably shouldn’t have senbei, unless…they did that to make Ryoma feel more at home?

Seriously, how does a guy with no overtime still have time for online games? Even if he were getting just ads for them, he probably wouldn’t have paid enough attention to be able to figure out what the cliches are, right? Either that, or the Dragon Quest system is older than I think it is.

Slimes don’t have paws…or hands or other appendages…to give…

…I’m not sure what to think there. Am I meant to think the slimes are cute? Am I meant to think the catgirls/animal girls are cute? The answer to those questions is “no”, so…eh.

IWGP 1

Basically, I chose this for associations with HypMic.

Given HypMic, I almost expected a rap battle…nahhhh…Rap battles don’t look so cool outside HypMic, man.

The owl is a pun. Fukurou (owl) matches ‘bukuro (bag, which is the 2nd character in “Ikebukuro”). There’s also an owl statue used as a meeting spot, much like Hachiko in Shibuya…(I learnt a bunch of things about the division territory through HypMic. Let me show off…)

I think the character designer for this anime also did Joker Game…that’s throwing me off a little. Also, they had a prime opportunity to use a Buster Bros song, so I’m still a bit miffed about that – this OP’s kinda standard. Update: The character designer is Junichiro Taniguchi – my insinct was wrong on him. He did Touken Ranbu Hanamaru’s character designs.

Curiously, the one who hates drugs in HypMic is Jyuto, who’s not from Ikebukuro Division at all. Hmm…

Yokoyama’s voice sounds familiar…but I’m not sure why. Update: If I had to guess, I’d say he’s Saito Soma or someone who sounds similar, so maybe Takuma Terashima, Daisuke Ono or something like that. Update 2: Takahiro Sakurai. See? I knew I knew that voice.

“Big Rei” (“Rei-nii”). That’s different from Ichi-nii (what Saburo calls Ichiro) and could also be goroawase for 02.

Kimura seems to use his gruffer voice more than his Ichiro voice, but Ume is actually worse on that fron with his ordinary voice…Welp, at least his ordinary voice sounds like it fits right in with the Courier. I almost expect an Ocean’s Eleven thing (or Now You See Me, since I’ve actually watched that) from this. Update: Turns out Kimura is the pompadour guy, not the fighter.

You can tell Ordinary Person is an okay person because she keeps saving cats. A bit cliché, but it’ll do.

Ohhhhhh…I can see where this plotline is going. Ordinary Person pretends to be Swindler to get herself out of this mess, but then she keeps getting involved with the Akudama. It’s a typical plot for a typical gal, common to insert a viewpoint character in series that require one, or a magical girl ally.

LOL, Hoodlum’s sentence is kinda measly in comparison to most of them. Plus, when he yelled, that sounded more accurate to Ichiro than Fighter was, so…yeah, sorry I messed up.

…Ordinary Person has some real bullseye…uh, eyes.

This could be a top contender…aside from the CGI, which does look a bit funky. I’m getting a death game vibe here, but I don’t know if that’s really the case. Also, it’s a lot of fun, but the possible intolerable thing here is Ordinary Person’s screaming – the pretense she has to keep up seems like it’ll fit right in though.

I read the manga once, dropped it and then read it again and didn’t realise why I dropped it.

Fushiguro has long eyelashes, tbh. Itadori comments on that at one point, I think.

Oh, it was a fish (carp) in the manga. I couldn’t figure out what the Japanese equivalent was just from the Kokkuri board.

This track club teacher is a bit of a freak, honestly. Meddling in kids’ affairs is probably illegal to some extent.

Itadori is known as “tiger” because the kanji for “tiger” is in the surname. Update: Also, the Czech dude Mirko was called “the Croatian tiger”, if a tweet I read is any indication.

I like how there’s more comedy in this one. They show the world records, so you have standards to compare Itadori against.

This is an almost beat-for-beat adaption, bar the slight comedy of the records being added (and not explaning who Mirko is). The contrast makes this better.

“People really can die.” – That’s summoning some real energy of “People die when they are killed.”

(Brief thoughts on the dog and cat short: I enjoyed that more than I thought I would. The picture of a realistic cat – someone’s actual photo of their cat?- that serves as a punchline never gets old and in fact, sometimes contributes to the humour.)

HypMic 2

LOL, TV-MA warning strikes again.

“Kore wa prologue/Hajimete no ippo/Fumidasanai yatsu ni wa/???? shinpo.” – The translation is really good for the bits I can read…the problem is I can’t read the bottom left corner. Update: The part in the bottom left is nai...That’s it.

…uh, even people from around the world can read 24 hour time??? You don’t need subs to read Arabic numerals???

…couldn’t you have just told Ichiro verbally, Saburo…? Update: Come to think of it, kids these days are more on their phones than ever, so it makes sense but also kind of doesn’t.

You don’t really need subs for laughter either…

I’d never heard of “pulling rank” before…hmm: “to use one's high position in a society, organization, group, etc., to order someone to do something or to get special treatment or privileges.”

…and here comes the F word here to mess with us again. Japanese nastiness is conveyed using words that might be considered “soft” in English, hence the sudden jump to use the F word a bunch, but the subbers could use some variety in their swearing. I mean, “dips**t” worked where it did because subbers made Samatoki go overboard with the F word, but…you could stand to use that more, maybe(?)

I like how even the Tenderloins guy rhymes where he’s meant to. It’s the prelude to a battle, after all. (He kinda looks like Kotaro from Zombieland Saga.)

…I freaked out for a second. I swore I saw a similar-looking restaurant (udon shop, located on the left of one of the shots) while in Japan. Also, we finally get to see Ichiro’s reputation at work.

…I still have no idea what a “steelo” is after all this time, but I didn’t realise I was staring at a part of Ore ga Ichiro until I saw it in context. Also, it was kinda derpy – but still really in character – for Ichiro to run to his destination with his arms up like the Glico man in Osaka (except he had his head down).

I get a weird feeling the subbers may have used the wiki translation because I’m using it as a reference and the language seems oddly similar for the most part…

The kick Ichiro does seems like it references the OP.

Notice the location is Nishiguchi Kouen…the West Gate Park. *raises eyebrows at the IWGP anime*

…oh! It occurred to me that the sign the BB do with their hands is…well, a lowercase B. (LOL, if you read my previous line funny, it rhymes.)

Gentaro doing the peace sign to his chest…that was random the first time, because it doesn’t seem in character, but then it does for Dice and possibly Ramuda, so Gentaro probably just chose to go along with it (“to add to his image as a rapper,” maybe…?).

Oh, Saburo has airpods in…those aren’t good for blocking sound, are they…?

That one “holy shit!” made me laugh like a madman. Where it came from, I don’t know, but it was so random I had to laugh at it.

This makes me wonder…if you use a mic that’s different to your personal mic, does it produce the same speakers? No one’s ever addressed that before (much like how no one questions if magical girls always need the same transformation device – I wanted to make a plot on that someday, but I can’t seem to find a comprehensible way to pull it off…LOL, that reminds me, I even had a HypMic version of that featuring Samatoki at one point, but it probably makes even less sense than the standard one because it activates via physical contact. It’s notable – in my head – for Nemu’s version of the “power” being “Samatoki can’t swear, no matter how hard he tries”).

I’m pretty sure that round thing wasn’t part of Ichiro’s rings, ever. (…Unless that was the head of his spoon or something.)

The series normally transitions from BB -> MTC -> FP -> MTR, so it was interesting to see that shuffled up. Update: That’s if it has to have an order, but notably ARB breaks this standard a lot by assigning colours to each solo and then arranging interactions based on not repeating those colours (aside from the Sky High Tower event). With 4 things there are 4! = 24 possible combinations and 6! = 720 possible combinations if you count DH and BAT, so as we move forward with those 2 divisions...prepare for more shuffling.

…is Jiro gonna steal a ball? I thought it was just bikes anime characters stole. (LOL)

Hmm, so this anime’s real plotline probably involves this trio: Rex, Tom and Iris. They’re probably foreign in some way, judging by Tom and Rex. Maybe they’re aligned with a foreign government or something? Update: If you look at the credits, their full names seem to be Tom Whisper Weathercock, Iris Innocent Traiter (sic) (LOL) and…Taroumaru Rex…? (romanisations confirmed for all katakana)

Sadamezuka was voiced by the ubiquitous Kenjiro Tsuda.

It seems Cola Bintarou (aka Subaru Kimura) was on the case again today. He wrote the new song for BB, called RUN THIS CITY, along with Gesshoku Kaigi.

Of course, I’m going to keep this anime on my list...I’m just a bit worried about myself going forward, because I realised my ego got a bit inflated trying to defend the series from haters. I’ve never had a series where I’ve been a fan from the beginning that wasn’t already a known quantity for a while (Muhyo and Roji’s, Furuba). With Boueibu, I was discovering things alongside other people (or even later in a lot of cases) since it was anime-original.

Gratitude

Holy long time no type.

The last time I wrote, it was about two months after my dad went to be with Jesus. I was going through so many confused emotions that comes with grieving but also being so madly in love in the beginning of our relationship with Chris. At the time, Chris was just my amazing boyfriend who was there for me through the thick and thin. Now, he’s my husband and we are celebrating our one year anniversary in two days. Wowza.

Life is wild, y’all and God is so, so, so, soooo incredibly good. I know I’m not perfect and boy do I need Jesus, but I’m glad that I have Him in my life. The other night, Chris and I took turns praying for each other before bed... And when Chris started praying over me with his hands on my back, an overwhelming wave of love, gratitude, and God’s presence intensely consumed me. I started uncontrollably ugly crying. Chris was probably low-key freaking out but all he did was just hold me and kept on praying. That’s love y’all. That’s God’s work man. I thank God every morning that we have another day together and for blessing me with Chris to be my husband. I’ve been a “Christian” for as long as I can remember but I think I am truly in God’s presence now. I see and feel myself changing in God’s love, grace, and mercy. I wish I can shout from the mountains and tell people about this incredible feeling and happiness that I have witnessed and experienced but I’m not confident yet.. But I know God will train me and make me stronger so that one day, I can share His unconditional love with others.

Anyways, so as most of y’all may know, the beginning of 2018 was literally the worst. BUT, 2018 was also so awesome at the same time. God may have taken our dad because He had bigger plans for him up in Heaven, but he also gave us Chris. Chris and I got engaged and then got married in 2019. In 2019, we got married, I moved to Toronto, Sunjun graduated from UGA and got a job at NCR, I started C & C Education, Chris started a new career, Julie kicked butt at her job (per usual), mom started finding her own independence... 2019 was good. There are so many things to be thankful for and when I reflect back on all the ups and down of 2019, I can’t help but to be thankful for every single event. Without every obstacle, we wouldn’t be who we are today.

So far, 2020 is pretty exciting. We got to go home for a week for my dad’s 2nd anniversary of his passing. His first anniversary was TOUGH. Oh boy, I was struggling hard. (Thank you MJ and Chris for being there for our family) But we got through it. Since the first year was so tough, I was honestly dreading the second anniversary.. But surprisingly, I was at peace. Of course I miss my dad with all my heart and still shed lots of tears when I think about him, but my heart is comforted and at peace with my dad’s passing. That’s something I am so grateful for. Every year, I am in awe and am soooooooooo tremendously proud of my dad. He truly left his mark on this Earth and his positive, impactful, kind, genuine, wholesome presence still lingers. I am so proud to be his daughter.

We celebrated my 29th (yikes) birthday in downtown Toronto and Chris surprised me with the most amazing dinner of my life. (Sorry I was hangry). We celebrated our first Valentine’s Day as a married couple at my favorite restaurant, Katsuya. Oh, we posted our first youtube video. Hahahahaha. This weekend, we leave for Montreal! Chris planned everything, all I did was look on Instagram at Montreal Foodies and I got stressed because there are so many good places to eat there. Hahah. But yeah, that’s me so far.

I am indescribably happy. I am so in love with my husband and it’s crazy how obsessed I am with him.. Hahahah. I’m probably so annoying but he takes it all in. (Love ya babe!) I thought I loved him when we met, I thought I loved him when we got engaged, I thought I loved him when we got married.. But NOOOPPEE. Each day, my love for Chris gets stronger and wider. Cheesy and cringe, I know. But it’s the truth!! We talk about how much more we love each other today than we did yesterday all the time. Hahahah. We are so cringe.

I think a big chunk of my happiness is all thanks to Jesus. I am so happy these days spiritually. I am hungry for him and I love being fed daily. My soul literally sings for him and to have a partner who is on the same page as you, is something to be really grateful for.

Basically, Chris is DA BOMB, the goodness of God consumes me, my heart is filled with more love than before (not just for Chris but for others too).

That’s it for now. Oh, tomorrow we are posting our second youtube video. Puhahahahhaha.
