omg so i’m new here but i currently have brainrot for 2 things
1) being a famous celebrity (sortaaaa like the famous streamer one but more famous) where ur like, an actress or model, things like that. and having a semi-public relationship with schlatt where you’ll be spotted holding hands on occasion, or on a red carpet but not really publicly discussing your relationship (even though everyone knows you’re together), and everyone is either super happy and ships the ever loving shit out of you, or they clown on you a bit and make “who’s punching up” videos and odd comments, and just not giving a fuck and being happy together but kinda wanting to be viewed like any other couple and not just another famous couple to be analyzed. (also similar to mutual break up but you don’t care about hate and stay together)
AND
2) schlatt made a joke about having his cock out in the latest chuckle sandwich episode and….. giving him head under his desk when he films….. for some things, like recordings where he’s not showing his face, it’s easy, but when he has his face out, it’s a bit more challenging. he has to restrain the urge to watch you and moan SOOO bad…. that’s all.
LMAO NONNIE THE FIRST ONE, I HAD TOO
Tumblr media
okay, let’s say you’re a celebrity that is agreed by men, women, etc. to be absolutely stunning
so many people that love you, call you their wife, etc.
you are an absolute style icon, wearing pieces made for you to exclusive red carpet events
even people who hate you have to agree you’ve got a great style in clothes and makeup and yes, you’re iconic, at least a little
then somehow you make your way to the youtube community
people assume from you being so open and sweet and social is how you find yourself starring in a project directed by Ted Nivison
you’re so excited for it, interacting with other creators, etc.
Jschlatt knows of you, but thinks you’re probably like all those LA stuck up influencers that managed to make enough connections to get what you wanted
but when he has his first interaction with you on twitter??
he’s taking the chance to flirt with you publicly
in any way shape or form
and is so public about his crush on you to the point everyone is convinced he runs a stan account for you
you both do get closer behind the scenes but don’t tell much people about it
especially considering his jokes that people love taking seriously and out of context
you both are pretty secretive about it, super down low about it until the day he decides to pay for your nails
a small j is on the underside of your ring finger as to not show it off too much
it can’t even be seen unless it’s up close
then someone points it out on twitter in a selfie
you say it was dirt, but they know what they saw
then the paparazzi comes in and takes a photo that goes viral of you in sweats and a suspiciously familiar wilson hoodie
you say it a coincidence over and over again but the evidence is undeniable when you post multiple selfies in familiar hoodies that look just a little too large for you
small scratches and bite marks on your arms but you never mentioned getting a cat
then you appear in a chuckle sandwich interview
but the vibe is different in that video compared to the rest with guests
schlatt is polite??? and listening to you??
he looks at you with so much affection
yeah, your team does damage control and quickly
claiming that you’re currently single and focused on your career
then you fuck up on your own
a misclick on a story made for your close friends of you kissing your boyfriend’s cheek as he has the biggest smile ever plastered on his face
oh well, too late to deny anymore
so you don’t say anything until your next red carpet event where he’s essentially your accessory
like arm candy and dressed to match you
then everyone definitely knows
and let me tell you, some stans are sobbing
lots of “i waited 3 1/2 years, white man did it in one week” from fans and other celebrities
punching the air too
lots of crying and audios after they realize you’re dating him fr fr and not them
people definitely make memes out of it
goddess s/o and bf they probably found digging around in the trash and probably has rabies
yk that one meme of shining armor and princess cadence?
yeah, that + other attractive partner and their silly bf
so so so many of those “do you think we’re…in another universe?” slides
they clip any time he talks about you and use it for edits
editing characters you play with c! schlatt (it’s giving jack frost x elsa)
they love the two of you and seriously cannot get enough
but they really are punching the air when he marries you and when he gets you pregnant (if applicable)

Okay, so you like Velvet and Veneer? Well, if you get the chance, I want you to speak! TELL ME EVERYTHING!! I want you to give me headcannons please, as many as you can think of :)
pls and thx!!
AHHH! OK so I've never done anything like this but I put as many as I could think of. If I come up with anything else, I'll edit this and add it (or just make a new post)
(lots of words ahead 💀)
General headcanons :
- They one hundred percent had the Barbie mugshot but with Velvet's deadly stare instead
- and Veneer made sure he looked good; they are taking a picture after all
- I think Velvet might be a little taller than Veneer but they're both taller than average
- never leaves the house without heels or platforms or both
- Veneer has must-be-wearing-a-crop-top syndrome. Can't be cured 😔
- I'm sorry but they totally sang Circus by Britney Spears. That song is so V&V coded and has female and male vocals too 😩
- The sass is too hard to contain for this duo. Once a sly thought appears in their mind, they have to voice it (but I'm not complaining. They're iconic)
- Veneer can be a little blunt or rude sometimes. I know ppl like to imagine him as just the caring and silly sibling but he did everything Velvet did. He just had morals that started to kick in once the threat of being a killer was thrown at him.
(I mean did you see him nearly just toss Floyd down the toilet 💀)
- of course, I still think he is silly and kind and chooses to do so for a fair portion of the time but he's no stranger to being ignorant to most of his wrongdoings as well
- and I think they both have some trauma from practically killing Floyd. GET THEM THERAPYYY
- I think Velvet would like decorating and making things ✨Aesthetic✨
- like a little journal that she'd write her feelings in and then fill with beautiful stickers and photos (totally not a burn book....)
- I think Poppy would love love looove to see Velvet's journal filled with beautiful stationary. She'd probably get her into scrapbooking and they'd make the cutest little displays or books just brimming with photos, cutouts, diagrams, and more.
-Poppy and Viva can be a little overwhelming for Velvet at first but they'd totally become great gal pals and just chat all day.
- and at first, Bergen features might be a little....alarming to Velvet but she'd learn to love Bridget just like Poppy does
-also both are invited to the broppy wedding... 👀
- she also of course become friends with the BroZone brothers but I get more into that below ⬇️
"Story" headcanons :
- So for Velvet, I think in the movie she was so blinded by her need for fame and luxury that she didn't notice how her family (Veneer) helped her and stuck around through all the things she said and did. This would separate her from being just a complete villain because I do believe that she can reform herself into something better
- In Jail, I think Velvet would really hate it and everyone around her. She probably wouldn't want to talk to Veneer at all at first but being alone might give her time to reflect on herself
- over a little time, I think she'd realize how Veneer was always there for her and understood her ways. She'd definitely come back around and they'd be back to being as close as they were before, maybe even more
-It would take some time for both Velvet and Veneer to adjust.
- Veneer would dislike jail very much. He's so used to his life of luxury that I'm sure he'd be surprised by how little you get behind bars
- and with Velvet wanting to be alone, he would probably feel more alone than ever
- but he knows he did the right thing and even though prison sucks, he'd get through it
- Veneer would probably try to make friends with some of the people there but it is prison soo.... I'm not sure how well that would go.
- if anyone came to visit him, he'd be so happy cuz jail is sooo boring and he'd finally get to yap away to somebody who knows him.
- you just know they'd be styling that prison jumpsuit the best the can
- can you sneak heels into jail??
- Velvet and Veneer are kinda "eye candy" for the criminals in jail and they might get targeted by those who are jealous or looking for a fight
-Velvet's not the only one with an attitude problem, Veneer can very well relay a comment or two that can easily get them into some trouble. He'll have to work on that along with his sister, learn how to correctly treat the people around them
 - After they become besties again, they'd have each other's backs like never before. I think Velvet really really does care about Veneer and if anything ever happened to him, she'd be devastated. This time, she'd really like to treat him how he deserves and nurture that sibling bond.
- and you know once anyone throws hands with one sibling, the other comes swinging
- 💥KNOCKOUT💥
- not the best thing to do if you want to get out of jail fast but hey, nobody messes with twins and gets away with it
- Due to other more serious situations being forgiven in the past, I think Velvet & Veneer wouldn't be in prison for too long. I can easily see BroZone forgiving them and offering to help the twins with whatever they'd need
- Veneer would definitely become great friends with Floyd and even Bruce. After all, he knows what it's like to be sensitive and a heartthrob 😌
- and I can see Velvet relating to Branch and J. D. She's probably a control freak (or was) and always wants everything to be perfect, just like John Dory. That's something they'd both have to work on. And I think Velvet and Branch can relate to one another's sassy sarcastic comments and occasional snide remarks.
- I can also see them joining Clay's sad book club. I need to see a scene of Veneer just balling his eyes out after finishing a book while all the others just pat him on the back 😆
- @horrorartist23 did a couple of drawings of Velvet & Veneer(or maybe just Ven idk) working at Bruce's Beachside Bar and I LOVE THAT IDEA SO MUCH.
- ESPECIALLY since Bruce said his family was a total Veneer household. I think it would be so cute for not only his kids getting the chance to meet Vel&Ven but also for Vel&Ven to get a little bit of real work experience.
- it would be so good for them to work at a place like that to learn about themselves and a work environment.
- plus the whole island is gorgeous and pretty luxury, which would fit into they're ideal environment. AND everything is Rageon sized so they don't have to worry about being too big!!
- They'd literally be working hard and making it look easy 💀
- I think it's perfect and I love it
-after jail and therapy, I think Velvet would really love the life she has. She'd of course still make mistakes sometimes and her sass will never leave. That's just who she is and none of us would want to change that . But she'd have a way healthier mind and so would the people around her.
- I think both of them might want to actually learn how to sing and dance like real performers
- Velvet hates making mistakes or not being perfect at a skill immediately. I know how that is and it's really difficult to get past but with more encouragement from Veneer and even the Brozone brothers, she'd become the star she always knew she was.
- And Veneer would take initiative for himself and practice performing like a real idol. I feel Veneer would also struggle with wanting perfection immediately but I think he'd really fall in love with dancing and this would help him keep up the determination. And he'd be really good at it too after some practice
- Knowing how good they can be if they put in the work would be a huge motivator too. Cuz they only stole Floyd's talent, not his voice. And because of this Velvet knows that she sounds good when she's at her peak in skill. They know that they can be amazing, they just have to work for it this time
-Trying to become famous again for the right things would definitely be hard. They're reputation is awful
- BUT, I think Mount Rageous would give them a chance to prove themselves. Considering how all Rageons are obsessed with media, fame, and celebrities, I think they couldn't resist the bait of former popstars Velvet & Veneer coming back to the stage, this time with their own talent that they've truly worked hard to perfect.
- And they'd deserve it for how much work they put into reforming their lives.
- Plus, nobody can take away their love for the stage and performing. They're too iconic to forget 💅
- and you know I'd be keepin' my eye out for that V&V/BroZone collab 🌟
- First live performance with BroZone, Velvet and Veneer are getting their Perfect Family Harmony. And you can bet it will be the most amazing thing to ever grace the planet
- I'd die 💀
That's all that I can think of right now 🤔 I hope you enjoyed reading my thoughts on these two. I really really love them and getting to write this down was really fun. If you have any ideas you'd like to expand upon or thoughts you'd like to share, let me knooww! And of course, Thank you sweetgirl15161819 for sending this ask!! 💖 💖

treating myself to some old OP episodes to alleviate the horrors and i can’t resist the urge to ramble about bell-mère’s death a little bit.
so, i will start here, with this iconic moment:
Tumblr media
manga readers may notice something right off the bat. “hey, arlong’s not aiming for her head!” yes, in the anime, seems they switched his aim for the heart. i actually prefer this. first of all, that flintlock is huge compared to her, so head or heart, it’s gonna kill her. not a fatality issue. i’m just a huge sap, and i think there’s something more symbolic about him shooting her in the heart for defending her love - her kids. (even tho all of this could have been avoided if she just lied, and then she’d actually be able to keep loving and supporting her kids, but, uh, i digress)
this moment really captured me when i was first watching, because for the first time, one piece truly felt dark. this wasn’t just an upsetting backstory. it had some element of gore here, which i’m not sure would be as effective if he went through with a headshot. they might have censored it a bit more.
more (slightly gruesome) photos and analysis beneath the cut 👀
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
look at what they got away with here!! this was early one piece mind you, so i feel like things were generally a little cushier? (or maybe that’s just my nostalgia talking XD) but the harsh black and white contrast, the utter silence during this scene, the speed in which this happened! (it was a pain to pause and scrub and get good screenshots, let me add). i will say i’m not up to date with current OP shenanigans, but to me, this seems like one of the most abrupt and brutal deaths in the series. (and this doesn’t even put into account the horrid beating she got beforehand)
there are some nice parallels here between her death and rosinante’s, (most notably her last words being “i love you” to nami and nojiko, and a flintlock as the weapon of choice), but even then, i think this is a bit nastier. seven little bullets in a 10ft tall man is painful, yes, but it wasn’t gruesome, and he managed to cling onto life for a little while afterwards. this was just. bang. done. heart – gone. leaves the viewer totally reeling.
in a way i feel like it’s almost an honor for bell-mère to get such a violent death? okay hear me out i know that sounds crazy. she sacrificed herself for her kids and went out kicking and screaming (or standing solemnly, towards the end). she brought forth such a refreshing take on women in one piece. i mean, let’s not forget this scene:
Tumblr media
she was gonna blow his brains out!! zero hesitation!! how many characters in this series, let alone women, would go through something like this? i get that different characters have different honor codes and such, but it was sooo incredibly invigorating to see a woman get her hands dirty like this.
so by that logic, it’s kind of weirdly nice to see her not be treated like a little doll? this is highly speculative though, because i’ve noticed there’s this rather annoying trend where women are used as a moral compass for villains. “oh, look how deplorable arlong is, he did that to a young pretty woman!” we see the same thing with doflamingo, for instance, in his “fight” with viola. “oh how heinous, he threw her to the ground! how disrespectful! she’s just an innocent princess!” yeah, ugh. getting off tangent here
this whole scene set a standard for me, (and hopefully other viewers), who kind of saw the series as a fun lighthearted pirate adventure. yes, there was tragedy and sadness before this arc, before this backstory, but something about this moment in particular made my perception tremble. the bar was raised! a compelling character and backstory can have a truly harrowing ending!! a delightful revelation for me, for whatever reason XD
feel free to chime in if ya got any additional comments or takes on the matter. i don’t think bell-mère gets enough love. if you do wanna chime in, just um. be nice. i’m not the sharpest knife in the drawer, okay. and multiple interpretations of these scenes are valid! i’d love to hear ‘em! <3

Mack please give your opinion on the new releases of the clockwork orange photoshoot
the clockwork orange photo shoot is the one where they’re all wearing bowlers and gerard is wearing falsies on his bottom lashes very iconic…this one may be somewhat inspired also by clockwork orange? but the other one is way more of a direct reference. idk what the name for this one is or what we would call it BUT yes i’m obsessed i’m so obsessed with it frank is serving the most cunt of his life. and like the one or two pics we already had from this photo shoot were sooo good LIKE!!! idk seeing these new ones really remind me that frank always went toe to toe with gerard on so many things, he was there to serve he was there to pose he understood the assignment of a photo shoot and always matches gerard’s energy like he’s really giving it. and this one especially i think they gave him the pink gloves and he was like ok i get it. i’ve entered the headspace. and yes he killed severely.

hey desi! it's nice ask week, i hope you're well and don't mind me coming into your inbox :)
what's your favorite lone star episode?
who is your all time comfort character?
what's your favorite song/album right now?
Hello my sweetest, Rachel 💖!! Sweetie, the day I mind you coming into my inbox will be the day I am no longer a pansexual liberal, so not a chance of that ever happening 😂.
Ohh why would you ask me that!! Okay, favorite overall Lone Star episode, and not just for 1 or 2 scenes, has to be 3x13 "Riddle of the Sphynx". That episode just gave us sooo much good Tarlos! We got supportive and jealous/sassy and then understanding Carlos. We got TK attending meetings and doing what he has to do to take care of himself! We got so much tarlos physical affection and that amazing dining table scene!! I recently watched that episode again and that scene blows me away every time, Ronen and Rafa acted their butts off! We get tarlos communicating, even if it's messy communication at first, and so many iconic lines!! "It feels like he's getting pieces of you that I don't" "You don't want those pieces" "I do, I want all of it" "You have all of me, Carlos." Just throw me off a bridge why don't you 🥲, and it's one of the few episodes where I know all the tarlos dialogue word for word. @heartstringsduet are you proud of me 😊. Then TK being affected in the field and being depressed about his own mom, looking at photos telling Carlos, "I'd give anything to feel like that again", and Carlos realizes he is in way over his head and that this isn't about him, it's about TK and what he needs so Carlos gets over that insecurity and reaches out and makes sure TK has the support he needs 🥹 And then the infamous "I love you" with TK "Heart Eyes" Strand and Carlos' understanding "I know." Every tarlos scene in this from beginning to end of episode is amazing and impactful and leaves me an emotional mess every time I watch it 💖
who is your all time comfort character?
All time comfort character you ask? 🤔 After thinking about all the fandoms I've enjoyed and been a part of over the years, please don't come at me for saying the obvious of TK 😅. He's the first live action character that I have loved this much, and there are so many reasons for that! One of the biggest being how he has been through so much hardship in his life but he is so unselfish and sees the best in people and still has so much love to give!! He is sunshine personified but he is still very much a real person with flaws and baggage, but he is constantly working to take care of himself and be a better person! I've had similar, not exact of course, experiences in my own life and have come out the other side better for it! It took a lot of time of course and I needed to be in a place where I had the power to make my own decisions and I love that about TK too, that the show constantly shows that his decisions to get better have ultimately been his own! And him being an openly gay character who is proud of his sexuality was primarily what drew me to him and the show in the first place 🥰
what's your favorite song/album right now?
Ohh always love a music question! Haha and probably not what you're expecting but my favorite album lately has been Bo Burnham's "Inside (Deluxe)" edition. It's such a fantastic special and I watched the deleted scenes not too long ago and have not been able to stop listening to "Five Years". The chorus is so damn catchy and I wish it was longer and the line "Everyone's a feminist until there is a spider around" makes me laugh every time 🤣.

I had SUCH a good time this weekend!!!!
This was my first ever horror convention, and I left SO happy!!!
Bill Moseley was sooo chill and so nice! I can't believe I actually got to meet him and pose with him and get a selfie and an 2 autographs! I got a signed Chop Top headshot personalized for me, plus I got a Cornbugs CD (Celebrity Psychos) signed, and a selfie with him holding it <3 !!
it was pretty cool because he couldn't get the plastic off of the CD case so he pulled out a pocket knife with a dramatic flourish and sliced it open, but he accidentally cut into the case but I was like "no that's fine thank u omg" so I have a slightly knife-cut version of the CD case i guess, with his name on the CD itself and honestly I'm happy about it. for the photo, he asked me my name and shook my hand and was really kind, and he asked what i wanted for the quote and i just. i panicked. i froze. i forgot every line of dialog in the movie. i said "um there are too many, uh, i don't know um-" and then he proceeded to rattle off like every quote at me in the voice with the intonation and- that was. that was great. i settled with the classic "lick my plate, you dog dick" line bc it's iconic and also feels like he is insulting me with his quote on the picture which is just too goddamn funny to pass up.
Bill Johnson was a sweetheart and it just was obvious. like i can tell even from his demeanor that he was so patient and kind. i got a headshot of Leatherface signed (which goddamn he has beautiful handwriting and it was amazing to watch him make sure it looked as good as possible) and I also got a selfie with him too :D !!
I bought a crap ton of stuff and WON the silent auction being held in the main autograph room, so even if I never meet Edwin Neal (I hope one day....) I DO have an autograph from him that I got from that! It's a picture of the hitchhiker cutting himself and it's signed by him, and it's verified and that's so dope
I wore my costume all day on Saturday, and got some professional pics with both Bills, all in costume. So. That was cool! I got some photos with other people, and my costume is probably floating around there somewhere on Facebook, according to one guy. But. That's ok. I'm basically unrecognizable in that outfit lmao
Bill Moseley complimented my Chop Top costume tho at the photoshoot, and then again when he was leaving! That was great
That night, I went to see the TCM2 showing with live commentary and it basically was just watching the movie with Bill Moseley and Tom Morga. Bill just drank a Dr. Pepper (I know because he declared that before the movie started) and ate popcorn and kind of laughed at parts, and gave a few facts I wasn't aware of, and Tom mostly bounced off of Bill. some of these details are in the tags of my other posts but i do mean it when I say, it is incredible to be in an actual full-sized theater watching The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 and hearing Bill Moseley chuckle at the movie every now and then
and then in the morning today, I went around for the last time, bought a few more Leatherface items, and sadly had to go home
but I ABSOLUTELY want to go to a horror convention again, and if I get the opportunity to meet Bill Moseley again I probably will and I'll gift him something next time bc I just. I want to. I wasn't expecting Bill Johnson to be there tbh (it was much more last minute on the website?) but if I see him again too, I'll do the same :)

I’m writing a little research paper on ep and one of my main points is his influence on 60s counterculture so i was wondering how u think he affected the decade since u seem to know a lot ab that time !!
Oh wow, I am sooo behind on asks but I couldn't resist this - can I ask if this is for a class or for fun? Elvis was sort of a pioneer of 1950s rock hipster counter culture, but even then, it's hard to suggest Elvis had a one-way influence on counterculture in the in the 1950s or 60s, but rather, that he engaged and changed it, popularizing in the 1950s a sort of androgynous sexuality and style, and breaking the color line by incorporating the Black Southern culture he grew up in into his music and mixing it with country and blue grass, creating a racial hybridity that really reflected where he was from. He had a lot of privilege to do this as a white performer, but also we cannot discount how Elvis' engagement and history in Black spaces, culture and his collaboration with Black writers and musicians violated segregation norms and upset a lot of the white supremacists in the South.
As for the 1960s, there is his legacy in rock and roll and pushing the boundaries of musical expression, sexual and gender norms, and youth culture that I think really impacted the 1960s counterculture's slang, fashion and music and style, not just from his 1950s work but also from his performances in films and coverage of him in the press. His style reflected and influenced all the different counterculture movements of the 1960s, the beatniks, the mods and later psychedelia and hippie culture. He was also a student of alternative spiritualism schools, read a lot of books on different spiritual pursuits and was very involved with the Self-Realization Fellowship in Pacific Palisades (a corner of LA between Santa Monica and Malibu).
Big figures of 1960s counterculture, such as John Lennon, Bob Dylan Simon & Garfunkel and Jim Morrison have all said they were deeply influenced by Elvis, and they were all about 15 years old when he became a big deal in the late 1950s, so I don't think we can underestimate his important influence on them at that stage of their creative taste and development. If you look up early Beatles photos they were all essentially cosplaying as Elvis.... and Bob Dylan talks about Elvis' influence on him in his most recent book.
I recently heard an interview with the author of this book and she makes the argument that Elvis' fashion involved performers like David Bowie and Harry Styles...
Then there is just the recognition and valuing of youth culture in general, and female pleasure, through his films, which were the most visible way people interacted with Elvis in the 1960s, and I think many cultural critics used the way his films appealed to youth and female youth specifically to denigrate him but I think we should exult this, because I love romantic comedy musicals and I hate that they were/are not taken as seriously as films like Beckett because I would argue just as much creative work can go into them.
And of course this brings me to sex! My favorite topic....A lot of people think of the 1950s as a time of conservative sexual politics but this just isn't the case, ask the flappers! I think we can probably trace the popularization of liberated women and sexual politics back to the first wave movement (liberated women have existed as long as time itself.... but it became much more socially acceptable during the 1910s and 20s). And its no accident the suffragate movement happened at the same time women began working in pink collar jobs in droves in the 1890s and after, and when we started to share popular culture through film (precode Hollywood was all SEX) and radio and lots of other historical changes that took place in the 1910s and 20s. If you are interested in female sexuality from a historical perspectiver this book is good.. i started reading t when i started writing fic that took place in the 1960s... but it is also something i was interested in....
I think Elvis' appeal to and the way he very visibly valued female fans and also made visible female sexuality is really really important to the sexual revolution of the 1960s. I think this, along with the way his music and style was very much culturally hybrid between Black and white southern music and the fact that he came from such a poor background was what really scared conservatives and elites. Greil Marcus has talked about how Elvis brought out the racial fears of a lot of people...
I haven't even gotten to the 1968 Singer Presents Elvis (often called the Comeback special but I am a crazy person and it was officially Singer Presents Elvis.... #tv history )
Tumblr media
And the way this tv show both reflected and rearticulated social issues like the Civil Rights movement and women's lib... would Elvis say he was pro women's lib? No, but a lot of men at that time might have said one thing, while regularly working with and supporting and dating working women who were clearly at the very least benefiting from women's lib....
This is only the garbled mutterings of a sad history nerd.... I haven't really studied Elvis in an organized way, only as a hobby... but i'm tagging some of the other people on here who I've seen discuss this or who are smart @loving-elvis @missmaywemeetagain @whositmcwhatsit to see what they have to say..... and anyone else who wants to comment should!!!
And we're just not gonna get into his anti- hippie, pro Nixon stance in the 1970s because 15 years on speed makes you do questionable things....

omg hello @cut-catches <33
i hope my answers are interesting, thanks for playing!! :))
6. how long have you been into kpop?
so, so long my goodness.. since 2006, when i was in the 6th grade i think? Was super big into TVXQ at the time (big heartbreak when they broke up, let me tell you). a friend from school introduced me right before they moved away and i've been stuck here ever since (i say this lovingly ofc)
7. which song introduced you to kpop?
i think... my friend played me Super Junior's "Happiness" first? but also showed me Big Bang, which must have been their earliest releases given their debut was around i believe
15. your favourite hairstyle on your bias?
oh dear.. this is tough. Gotta do all of shinee, ofc + i probably have some pretty predictable answers, but here we go:
jjong: pretty pink haired babe, and there's nothing that tops that <3
taem: nothing beats just plain black hair to me, but i also love the long hair from Sherlock era. I know he hated it sooo bad, but i didn't :')
key: that cute rainbow buzzcut <3333 yes.
onew: i also LOVE long hair on him. The rock of ages one, but especially that recent photo shoot (this one: x) had me tumbling head over heals
minho: just.. classic black <3 but i love when it's less quaffed, a bit curly? :)
19. All time favourite kpop songs?
this is too hard i question, i fear. very sorry lol. To be honest, i tend to prefer groups with b-sides that outshine their title tracks, so i'll just put the groups i prefer best: Shinee, Twice, StayC, old school TVXQ, XG, Red Velvet, Kara, and many more. I'm sorry i'm in too deep to answer this
22. your favourite concepts?
Taemin. Truly his career has what i would call an actual thesis to it, developed and thought out in a way that i haven't really seen matched elsewhere. The king of concept. He has also stayed true to his root, which i can't appreciate enough.
And i guess that fun, bubble gum pop that Twice and StayC do really well! Kpop helps me release my stress, so i'm partial to things that make me want to dance
23. your favourite choreagraphies?
For Shinee, it's Sherlock, Replay and View my beloveds. They're just so iconic to me; all of Taemin's, but special shoutout to choreo's Koharu worked on and Black Rose (cause she's so visually stunning to me); Twice Fancy (they have such good formations and they're so clean with it <3); TVXQ Mirotic; the GODLY Stay Tonight choreo from Chungha (god, she lives in my mind constantly); ..etc
Thank you <3 this was a lot of fun. Hope you enjoyed my answers

Tell me about Max Klinger? :)
hi remy! I was delighted from the beginning (before I had even watched the show I got him on a uquiz and was like oh who's this gender roles defying character in the boomer sitcom??) I just thought he was sooo funny (if not a little one dimensional)
Now I still think he's very iconic but some parts of his characterization are a lot more interesting to me! His desperation to escape a war he never signed up for by any means necessary at first is really funny! But as time and time again he fails to escape this doomed narrative he's been placed in I found myself rooting for him and really more intrigued by his possibilities as a character.
Favorite thing obviously his fashion but also his big heart for his friends.
Least favorite thing is when he stopped dressing up and accepted his role in the war more - I know there were reasons off the show for it but it's a loss!!
Favorite line: he has SO many good ones. Probably a tie between "I thought you were an Atheist" "I gave it up for Lent" and "Another week in command and I'd have had you out of that dress!" "I'm not that easy!"
Every interaction Klinger has with Henry is just comedy gold!!
I think him and Margaret later down the line really had so many opportunities for a great friendship. I wish they had gotten more screen time together after Margaret's birthday episode.
I believe Klinger becomes some kind of counselor after the war. Maybe for teenagers that had been drafted and came back changed forever by what they had seen. Nobody would understand more than him being forced to go to war and being able to do nothing to really make a difference in the lives lost.
Favorite photo of course:

Rudy and Maddie hate each other? From reading your blog it seems they do, but why?
Nah girl. Things are just weird. They’s just a lot of history that’s hard to fully explain.
Jsut they used to be best friends. Crazy close. Then people started shipping them, they both got girl friends and there was a very noticeable change. When they came back to film s2 you could see they barley spent time together and it’s just kinda got worse and worse.
Not many photos together. Always standing away from each other in groups. Not posting each other or happy birthdays or liking each others posts. Rudy even removed Maddie’s photo cred from one of his old and super iconic pics not too long ago which was sooo fucking weird.
The way the act tbh stirs up more room ours cause why are you like that if there genuinely no beef or nothing was going on? If you just drifted apart you wouldn’t act like that.
But there are signs that they still get along behind closed doors. There’s even a lil video of them high fiving between takes on the s3 set. So like it’s hella confusing.
I guess we don’t know what is going on. And people give me flack for speculating but from what I’ve observed Maddie’s pretty chill about it all and Rudy acts weird. Big vibes that’s there’s a lot of insecurity in his relationship but like… that’s none of my business I guess.

I mentioned in my NYNT New Years Ball post that there was another poster I made that had to be scrapped so, without further ado, here is first version featuring Kid Congo Powers. Unfortunately, Kid had an accident and had to cancel his appearance so Jonathan Toubin and I got to work on a new version (the one now featuring The Mystery Lights) so we could get word out before people started to make NYE plans that didn’t involve going to TV EYE. Since Kid just put out his memoir “Some New Kind of Kick” which I shamefully have to admit I haven’t read yet but, it’s next on my list, Jonathan wanted me to do a drawing of the picture of Kid that was shot by Marcy Blaustein and used as the cover photo. I used the Gun Club’s Fire of Love album as an inspiration for the color scheme and placed little references around the poster - cacti, skulls, Kid’s very own custom glasses by Shady Spex. I had also I imagined drawing a giant white spider web in the background of the poster (you’ll see little spiders creeping around the piece and notice the tracing paper with the web laid over the poster if you scroll through the pics) in an attempt to reference the song “Spider Baby” he put out with his current band, Kid Congo & The Pink Monkey Birds but time constraints put a stop to that. And, honestly it may have saved the poster from looking a little too busy. Sooo, if you’ve actually read down this far and are unfamiliar with Kid’s legacy, go grab his memoir “Some New Kind of Kick” and be blown away by how many iconic bands he has been a part of and educate the youngsters a little on whose guitar they are hearing while they practice that viral dance from Netflix’s ‘Wednesday’.

okay! i explained all of these, with sources and quotes. under a cut because it's long as all fuck. to be clear i want everybody to know there's sooo much crazy shit not on the image you could probably do a follow-up iceberg with if u wanted to. op feel free to let me know i if i misunderstood anything you put or anything like that <3
tier 1 -self explanatory methinks
tier 2 -
july 6th 1957 - the day john and paul met. very significant day obviously many interesting accounts about it. if you're truly new to mclennonism start there. paul's always talking about john's "beery breath" which i love. from here today: What about the time we met? (What about the time we met?) / Well, I suppose that you could say that we were playing hard to get
david bailey photoshoot - iconic photoshoot where all those gayass black and white photos of john and paul come from. david bailey: "I told John to close his eyes because I could feel this tension between him and Paul. I did them [together] afterwards; I got them looking different ways because there was such a tension. Although I’ve never seen it like those two guys – Oasis. I was doing their first Rolling Stone cover and I did it in ten minutes because I thought they were going to kill each other."
mirror images - i assume this is metaphorical, i.e. "The thing about me and John is that we were different, but we weren't that different. I think Linda (McCartney) put her finger on it when she said me and John were like mirror images of each other. Even down to how we started writing together, facing each other, eyeball-to-eyeball, exactly like looking in the mirror," McCartney said in Britain's Mirror Wednesday. Or Paul: We wrote with two guitars, John and I. The joy of that was that I was left-handed while he was right-handed, so I was looking in a mirror and he was looking in a mirror.
Tumblr media
but also paul took some actual mirror images of john which is kind of fun
Tumblr media
beat the meatles - "What it was," he explains after I have prompted him, "was over at John's house, and it was just a group of us. And instead of just getting roaring drunk and partying—I don't even know if we were staying over or anything—we were all just in these chairs, and the lights were out, and somebody started masturbating, so we all did."
There would be about five of them: McCartney, Lennon, and maybe three of Lennon's friends. As they each concentrated on their mission, anyone in the group was encouraged to shout out a name that would offer relevant inspiration.
"We were just, 'Brigitte Bardot!' 'Whoo!'" McCartney says, "and then everyone would thrash a bit more."
At least until one of them—the one you would perhaps expect—opted for disruption over stimulation.
"I think it was John sort of said, 'Winston Churchill!'" McCartney remembers, and acts out the aghast, stymied reactions.
I ask whether this ritual took place often.
"There weren't really orgies, to my knowledge. There were sexual encounters of the celestial kind, and there were groupies."
"I think it was a one-off," McCartney replies. "Or maybe it was like a two-off. It wasn't a big thing. But, you know, it was just the kind of thing you didn't think much of. It was just a group. Yeah, it's quite raunchy when you think about it. There's so many things like that from when you're a kid that you look back on and you're, 'Did we do that?' But it was good harmless fun. It didn't hurt anyone. Not even Brigitte Bardot."
(the term "beat the meatles" comes from the new york post headline about the story lol)
too many people / how do you sleep -“Too Many People” is the opening song of Paul and Linda McCartney’s 1971 album “Ram“. The lyrics were interpreted as targeting John Lennon and Yoko Ono, which Paul acknowledged years later...At the time it was surely an understatement to say that there was “one tiny little reference” to John Lennon in this song. “Too Many People” opens with the words “Piss off,” which McCartney eventually admitted was a direct attack on Lennon....In response, Lennon wrote “How Do You Sleep?” for his album Imagine, an attack at McCartney featuring musical contributions from George Harrison. "paul has said that only the "too many people preaching practices" and "you took your lucky break and broke it in two" are the only references to john but well, That was your last mistake / I find my love awake and waiting to be / Now what can be done for you? / She's waiting for me, yeah. How do you sleep kinda has the line A pretty face may last a year or two, which is funny like ok so u think he's got a pretty face?
yoko reveals john's bisexuality - Yoko: “Well, that’s another thing. John and I had a big talk about it, saying, basically, all of us must be bisexual. And we were sort of in a situation of thinking that we’re not [bisexual] because of society. So we are hiding the other side of ourselves, which is less acceptable. But I don’t have a strong sexual desire towards another woman.”
paul vs. yoko - i don't even know where to start on this one paul and yoko have had a weird relationship for decades. paul and yoko is its own crazy rabbit hole. Yoko, June 4th 1968: I’m sure that if he had been a woman or something, he would have been a great threat – because there’s something definitely very strong between John and Paul.
tier 3 -
pyramus and thisbe - the beatles did a shakespeare performance. 'Paul and John play the star-crossed lovers Pyramus and Thisbe'. "For the Shakespeare spoof, Lennon took the female role of Thisbe, McCartney played Pyramus [...]. Incidentally, McCartney later owned a cat he named Thisbe." ("""""incidentally"""""). supposedly john had a cat named pyramus but i've never seen any sort of corroboration.
hey jude - "He said it was written about Julian, my child. He knew I was splitting with Cyn and leaving Julian. He was driving over to say hi to Julian. He’d been like an uncle to him. You know, Paul was always good with kids. And so he came up with ‘Hey Jude’.
But I always heard it as a song to me. If you think about it… Yoko’s just come into the picture. He’s saying, ‘Hey, Jude – hey, John.’ I know I’m sounding like one of those fans who reads things into it, but you can hear it as a song to me. The words ‘go out and get her’ – subconsciously he was saying, Go ahead, leave me. On a conscious level, he didn’t want me to go ahead. The angel in him was saying, ‘Bless you.’ The devil in him didn’t like it at all because he didn’t want to lose his partner."
here today - Paul McCartney composed "Here Today" in mid-1981,[3] less than a year after John Lennon was murdered. In a 1982 interview with The Los Angeles Times, McCartney said that due to the honest and emotional nature of the song he was "kind of crying" when he wrote it.[4] He even found it difficult to talk about with the other remaining members of the Beatles.[5] The structure of the song itself is written like a dialogue between Lennon and McCartney. McCartney says that Lennon used to "lay into" McCartney, but often did not really mean it, and this is emulated in the hypothetical conversation where the two bicker over whether or not they really know each other. The song is about McCartney really trying to talk to Lennon, but finding it futile after the latter's death.[6]
beatles sandwich - "When we were super close…examples being, like, going down the motorway and the van had no air-conditioning and it was bitter, in the middle of winter, and we lay on top of each other, literally. It was the only way we could stay warm. We suffered for a while, just shivering, and then someone said: Well, why don't we…? So we did a Beatles sandwich"
shared clothes - many many examples of them (all 4 of them really) sharing clothes or at least having matching clothes. tbh i don't really care about all that it's not that significant to me but on the day they shot the revolution and hey jude music videos john and paul apparently swapped a shirt which is more wild to me (note: the director of two of us + let it be was the one who directed the MVs)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
the nerk twins - "That spring of 1960, John and I went down to a pub in Reading, The Fox And Hound, run by my cousin Betty Robbins and her husband. We worked behind the bar. It was a lovely experience that came from John and I just hitching off down there. At the end of the week we played in the pub as The Nerk Twins. We even made our own posters."
"i love paul" pin - Harry Nilsson: Someone told me a few minutes ago they saw John walking on the street [once] wearing a sign saying – a button, rather, saying ‘I Love Paul’. And this girl who told me that said she asked him, “Why are you wearing the button that says ‘I Love Paul’?” He said, “Because I love Paul.” [laughs]
nme hug - "Footage of the Beatles accepting an NME award 1965, in which you can see John give Paul a brief hug"
howard stern interview - i assume this is referring to the interview with howard stern where stern says john is "the love of your life" to paul and paul gets all panicked and says "no he isn't! the women!" <- very convincing king! love the desperate tone in your voice (video here, slightly longer audio clip here)
day by day interview - beatles interview november 12 1963 where paul is sick with stomach flu and john is clearly concerned
two of us (2000) - Two of Us is a 2000 television drama (and the third original VH1 film[1]) which offers a dramatized account of April 24, 1976, six years after the break-up of the Beatles and the day in which Lorne Michaels made a statement on Saturday Night Live offering the Beatles $3,000 to reunite on his program.
It was directed by Michael Lindsay-Hogg (who also directed the 1970 Beatles film, Let It Be) and starred Jared Harris as John Lennon and Aidan Quinn as Paul McCartney. Beatles historian Martin Lewis served as the film's technical adviser, and the screenplay was written by "longtime Beatles fan and Beatlefest attendee, Mark Stanfield."[2]
btw Paul has seen the movie and liked it!
PAUL: [hums] Mhm. I did see it, actually, yeah. What was okay about that was that at the beginning of the film it said, “John and Paul met on such and such a date, in New York, and this is us imagining what might have happened. It’s pure fiction”, they did it like a disclaimer at the front. So I thought, well, that’s okay, ‘cause I can get into this. And I mean, I must say I enjoyed it, I thought I wish that had happened!
Also John kisses Paul in an elevator see clip here
understanding l/m docs - Understanding Lennon McCartney -documentary series
michael gerber blog post - Were John and Paul Lovers?
"old estranged fiance" - John: We tried to think of a number to finish off with so I could get out of here and be sick...*nervous laughter*...and we thought we’d do a nu-- a number of an old, estranged fiance of mine, called Paul. This is one I never sang. It’s an old Beatle number and we just about know it.
i don't know (johnny johnny) - This track is only known through the Forthlin Road tapes, where it sits with the series of instrumental jams. This one is a somewhat better structured blues number, with Lennon and McCartney vocalising together and separately, although a full lyric is impossible to decipher. It is presumed to be a co-write, and the lack of proper words suggests it was of recent creation, although probably not made up on the spot. The title is derived from something Lennon seems to sing – possibly referencing himself not knowing any words. feel free to listen to it and try to figure out wtf they're singing.
paul vs. stuart - "[Stu] and I used to have a deadly rivalry. I don’t know why. He was older and a strong friend of John’s. When I look back on it I think we were probably fighting for John’s attention. He was older and John was a year older than me, and that year makes a hell of a lot of difference at the age of eighteen. So I wasn’t such a big friend of Stuart’s. I was always practical, thinking our band could be great, but with him on bass there was always something holding us back" and they even very famously had a physical fight on stage: Although Cyn would write about how Stu ‘restrained himself’ when Paul was niggling him, there was one occasion when he didn’t, when the Top Ten witnessed an explosion, and yet another fight: Beatle on Beatle this time, Stu on Paul. It was the second of the two occasions Paul would count when acknowledging he was publicly seen not liking Stuart. That is, in front of an audience.
The fight’s origin is vague or varies in the telling, but everyone agrees that a tease or derogatory mention of Astrid set it off. Klaus says Stuart owed Paul some money, and Paul, nagging to get it back, made a flippant remark about Astrid being able to afford it. As Paul would remember:
“I’d always wondered if he and I ever had a fight, who would win? He was probably wondering too. I assumed I’d win because he wasn’t that big, but the strength of love entered into him or something because he was no easy match at all.”
Everyone was amazed by the manner in which Stu, so manifestly puny, could summon up such power, as if his every muted response so eighteen months of snipes and jibes accumulated in one volcanic eruption. As George put it, “Stuart suddenly got this amazing strength that Paul hadn’t bargained for.“
Klaus says Stu "picked Paul up and put him on the piano."
Pete says Stu "landed Paul such a wallop that it knocked him off his stool. [They] began struggling on the floor, rolling around, locked in the most ferocious battle… a fury of flailing fists.”
Paul always speaks of it being “a silly fight – you just stay locked for about an hour, with nobody doing anything. All the German gangsters were laughing, but it was very serious for us.”
paul/nancy wedding date - “They have been given special dispensation by the council to marry on Sunday and have chosen what would have been the groom’s former band-mate John Lennon’s 71st birthday for their big day. A spokesman for McCartney told Reuters in an email: "We are not commenting.” ... “After the wedding, she [Barbara Walters] says, they all went to Paul’s backyard where a tent was set up for the reception. […] There was a toast that Paul made to John Lennon, whose 71st birthday it was.”
philip norman books - philip norman wrote some. controversial. books. where he said all kinds of crazy shit, the peak of which is probably from his john lennon bio: “From chance remarks he had made, she (Yoko) gathered there had even been a moment when—on the principle that bohemians should try everything—he had contemplated an affair with Paul, but had been deterred by Paul’s immovable heterosexuality. Nor, apparently, was Yoko the only one to have picked up on this. Around Apple, in her hearing, Paul would sometimes be called John’s Princess. She had also once heard a rehearsal tape with John’s voice calling out “Paul … Paul …” in a strangely subservient, pleading way. “I knew there was something going on there,” she remembers. “From his point of view, not from Paul’s. And he was so angry at Paul, I couldn’t help wondering what it was really about.” (copied from here). theres a lot of other wild shit too but this is already so long. do your own research ig.
greek island - "In the summer of 1967 The Beatles, encouraged by John Lennon, agreed to buy a set of Greek islands where they intended to live and work alongside family and friends." They didn't buy them. There are some cute pics of paul being #dadmode with johns son julian you can see a couple on this page or on google.com
tier 4 -
beetles on ram cover - the back of the Ram album cover has a picture of two beetles fucking. paul's been pretty wishywashy on how deliberate it was so make of that what you will (aka it was definitely intentional)
"it's like you and me are lovers" - PAUL: There’s a story. There’s another one – ‘Don’t Let Me Down’. “Oh darling, I’ll never let you down.” Like we’re doing— JOHN: Yeah. It’s like you and me are lovers.
1976 snl - There was great public demand for a Beatles reunion during the 1970s. For example, in September 1976, American promoter Sid Bernstein, who had booked many of the Beatles' historic American appearances in 1964-1966, published a full-page ad in the New York Times publicly requesting the group to reunite and offering millions of dollars.[3] On April 24, 1976, Saturday Night Live producer Lorne Michaels parodied such offers with an on-air announcement that he would pay the Beatles $3,000 if they would perform on his program together. He joked, "divide [the money] up any way you want. If you want to give less to Ringo, that's up to you."[4] John Lennon discussed the Saturday Night Live episode, as well as his relationship with McCartney, in a September 1980 interview for Playboy:
Paul and I were together watching that show. He was visiting us at our place in the Dakota. We were watching it and almost went down to the studio, just as a gag. We nearly got into a cab, but we were actually too tired. [...] That was a period when Paul just kept turning up at our door with a guitar. I would let him in, but finally I said to him, 'Please call before you come over. It's not 1956 and turning up at the door isn't the same anymore. You know, just give me a ring.' He was upset by that, but I didn't mean it badly. I just meant that I was taking care of a baby all day and some guy turns up at the door. [...] But, anyway, back on that night, he and Linda walked in and he and I were just sitting there, watching the show, and we went, 'Ha-ha, wouldn't it be funny if we went down?' but we didn't.[5]
Paul McCartney also remembered the event for an interview: "[John] said, 'We should go down there. We should go down now and just do it.' It was one of those moments where we said, 'Let's not and say we did.'"[6]
"it's only me" - "I remember kind of arguing once about something musical or something, and I remember John kind of just taking his glasses down and saying, “It’s only me.” And putting them back up again. " + many other examples of telling this story + lyrics to No Words from Band on the Run You want to turn your head away / And someone’s thinking of you / I wish you’d see, it’s only me, / I love you.
if i fell valentine - if i fell lyrics written on the back of a valentine given to paul note the dedication
dr. winston o'boogie interview - john interview he did with HIMSELF.
couple highlights:
Q. Yes it does.. take the first track for instance "Going Down On Love," that seems to be saying something.... A. Next you'll be asking me who "Steel And Glass" is about (3rd track side 2..).. I can tell you who it isn't about, for instance, it's not about Jackie Kennedy, Mort Sahl, Sammy Davis, Better Midler... Eartha Kitt, it's not about her either.... Q. It's not Paul again... is it? I mean you two are like... I mean grow up... A. Wrong again.
Q. Have you ever fucked a guy? A. Not yet, I thought I'd save it til I was 40, life begins at 40 you know, tho I never noticed it. Q. It is trendy to be bisexual and you're usually 'keeping up with the Jones', haven't you ever... there was talk about you and PAUL... A. Oh, I thought it was about me and Brian Epstein... anyway I'm saving all the juice for my own version of THE REAL FAB FOUR BEATLES STORY etc.. etc..
john vs. jim - john and jim famously did not like each other lol. jim thought john was a bad influence (well...) and john didnt like jim telling paul what to do all the time "[Paul] liked it with daddy and the brother… and obviously missed his mother. And his dad was the whole thing. Just simple things: he wouldn’t go against his dad and wear drainpipe trousers. And his dad was always trying to get me out of the group behind me back, I found out later. He’d say to George: “Why don’t you get rid of John, he’s just a lot of trouble. Cut your hair nice and wear baggy trousers,” like I was the bad influence because I was the eldest, so I had all the gear first usually.
So Paul was always like that. And I was always saying, “Face up to your dad, tell him to fuck off. He can’t hit you. You can kill him [laughs], he’s an old man.” I used to say, “Don’t take that shit off him.” Because I was always brought up by a woman, so maybe it was different. But I wouldn’t let the old man treat me like that. He treated Paul like a child all the time, cut his hair and telling him what to wear, at seventeen, eighteen.
But Paul would always give in to his dad. His dad told him to get a job, he fucking dropped the group and started working on the fucking lorries, saying, “I need a steady career.” We couldn’t believe it. So I said to him—my Aunt Mimi reminded me of this the other night—he rang up and said he’d got this job and couldn’t come to the group. So I told him on the phone, “Either come or you’re out.” So he had to make a decision between me and his dad then, and in the end he chose me. But it was a long trip."
a toot and a snore - A Toot and a Snore in '74 is a bootleg album consisting of the only known recording session in which John Lennon and Paul McCartney played together after the break-up of the Beatles in 1970. First mentioned by Lennon in a 1975 interview,[1] more details were brought to light in May Pang's 1983 book, Loving John, and it gained wider prominence when McCartney made reference to the session in a 1997 interview. Talking with Australian writer Sean Sennett in his Soho office, McCartney said the "session was hazy... for a number of reasons".
john vs. linda - another topic that's a rabbit hole in its own right. we got john crossing out 'wedding' and writing 'funeral' about paul and lindas wedding, saying "I didn’t think she was particularly attractive, I wondered what he was bothering having her in the car for. A bit too tweedy, you know. But she sat in the car and took photographs and that was it. And the next minute she’s married him", this crazy ass letter where john wrote "So get that into your petty little perversion of a mind, Mrs. McCartney - the cunts asked me to keep quiet about it. Of course, the money angle is important - to all of us - especially after all the petty shit that came from your insane family/in-laws-and GOD HELP YOU OUT, PAUL - see you in two years - I reckon you'll be out then - inspite of it all love you to both, from us two". again please look into it yourselves theres a lot going on there.
real love demo - Was I just dreaming or was it only yesterday? I used to hold you in my arms. And now a baby, and another on the way (laughs) la la la la la farm (laughs) Why must we be alone? Wah wah wah wah wah wah wah. (scats) If it don't feel right, don't do it. If it don't look right, look right through it. If it don't feel right, don't do it. Just call him on the phone.
don't let me down / i'll never let you down - PAUL: There’s a story. There’s another one – ‘Don’t Let Me Down’. “Oh darling, I’ll never let you down.” Like we’re doing— JOHN: Yeah. It’s like you and me are lovers.
marriages 8 days apart - "Hoping to get married in France, John Lennon and Yoko Ono flew to Paris on [16/3/69]. The couple had decided to marry on 14 March 1969, two days after the wedding of Paul McCartney to Linda Eastman; whether it was in response to this event on some level is open to conjecture." They got married March 20.
"i fell for pauls looks" - supposed quote from harry nilsson but i can't find an actual source so alas i don't believe it:  "In a late wee-hour-of-the-morning talk, he once told me: ‘I’m just like everybody else, Harry, I fell for Paul’s looks'"
call me back again - "The song was written by Paul McCartney in the spring of 1974 in California, while he was staying at the Beverly Hills Hotel." note the time would put it around when paul met up with john and they did the jam session mentioned above. "Call Me Back Again’ was recorded on 3 February 1975 at Allen Toussaint’s Sea Saint Studios in New Orleans." aka it was recorded during the sessions that paul had invited john to join for and john very strongly considered. tl;dr it was an obvious message to john to call him lmao.
tier 5 -
jealous guy - Paul: "He wrote ‘I’m Just A Jealous Guy’ and he said that the song was about me."
I was feeling insecure / You might not love me anymore / I was shivering inside / I was shivering inside / I didn't mean to hurt you / I'm sorry that I made you cry / Oh no, I didn't want to hurt you / I'm just a jealous guy
"maybe that would have satisfied it" - Mid-June?, 1972: John talks to Sandra Shevey about having a partner who fulfills both creative and romantic aspirations, and the disorienting experience of working with Yoko for the first time as competitive equals in the recording studio on Some Time In New York City.
JOHN: It’s a plus, it’s not a minus. The plus is that your best friend, also, can hold you without… I mean, I’m not a homosexual, or we could have had a homosexual relationship and maybe that would have satisfied it, with working with other male artists. [faltering] An artist – it’s more – it’s much better to be working with another artist of the same energy, and that’s why there’s always been Beatles or Marx Brothers or men, together. Because it’s alright for them to work together or whatever it is. It’s the same except that we sleep together, you know? I mean, not counting love and all the things on the side, just as a working relationship with her, it has all the benefits of working with another male artist and all the joint inspiration, and then we can hold hands too, right?
apple - idk what this is talking about in particular but apple corps was the company the beatles founded and it's a complicated mess lmao. if someone wants to tl;dr it better than that feel free...
john vs. martha - i think this is about the story that martha bit john while he was play fighting with paul but i can't find any corroboration for that so idrc but i'll instead share this martha-related quote from paul: Anyhow, I got Martha and she was a lovely little dog. I just adored her. One of the unlikely side effects was that John became very sympathetic towards me. When he came round and saw me playing with Martha, I could tell that he liked her. John was a very guarded person, which was partly where all his wit came from… Seeing me with Martha, with my guard down, all of a sudden he started warming to me. And so he let his guard down too.
new orleans - see above. some interesting quotes:
may pang: “I knew that if I got him down there, it would have started something. I knew that it was that close. I knew that he had already been itching for certain things… John was ready. He was just open for hanging out with Paul, at home—in New York, and L.A., but especially in New York. [Paul and Linda] would pop up and visit all the time. We’d go out to dinner around the corner from where we lived, out for drinks, we were hanging out with them.”
"[May] Pang told me the following story: Lennon was making plans to see Paul and Linda McCartney right before Ono pulled her string and brought him home to the Dakota in Manhattan. “Paul and Linda were going to New Orleans to record the Venus and Mars album,” May recalled. “And John found out they would be there. He made plans to surprise them down there. He was in a great mood and he really missed Paul.” Just as Lennon was making this plan, he was also trying to quit smoking. Enter Ono. “She told him she had a method for quitting and he should come over and she’d show him. I had a feeling this was a bad idea. She hadn’t seen him in a while, and I felt something was wrong. John told me not to worry, but I did.” Indeed, Pang was correct, since Lennon did not return to her. Pang can only surmise that Lennon shared his plans with Ono, who feared a reunion with the McCartneys would spur Lennon to leave her forever. Paul McCartney was, and is, Yoko Ono’s prime rival and arch enemy. Case in point: When Linda McCartney died in 1998, Paul didn’t invite Yoko to the memorial service in New York. He did invite May Pang, and she attended. “Linda was wonderful,” she said. At first when Pang told people about Lennon’s plans — after he’d left her — no one believed it. “But then something happened,” she said. “Derek Taylor, the Beatles’ publicist, showed me a postcard he’d gotten from John in England. It said, ‘Going to New Orleans to see Paul.’ And that was it. That was the proof.”
Art garfunkel: “Incredibly disarmingly, he said to me, ‘Artie, you worked with your Paul recently. I’m getting calls from New Orleans that my Paul wants to work with me and I’m thinking about it, and I don’t know. How did it go when you worked with Paul?’ I said, ‘John, remember that there was a musical blend that was a great kick. if you can return to the fun of that sound and the musical happenings with your old buddy, and ignore the strands of complication and history, what I found with my Paul is the harmony and the shound happenings are a full agenda and they’ll keep you busy and you’ll have fun.’ [Did he seem like he wanted to get back together with McCartney?] I thought he did.”
key west - "We were in Key West in 1964. We were due to fly into Jacksonville, in Florida, and do a concert there, but we’d been diverted because of a hurricane. We stayed there for a couple of days, not knowing what to do except, like, drink. I remember drinking way too much, and having one of those talking-to-the-toilet bowl evenings. It was during that night, when we’d all stayed up way too late, and we got so pissed that we ended up crying – about, you know, how wonderful we were, and how much we loved each other, even though we’d never said anything. It was a good one: you never say anything like that. Especially if you’re a Northern Man." other tellings here. referenced in here today: What about the night we cried? (What about the night we cried?) / Because there wasn't any reason left to keep it all inside?
dear friend - reconciliatory song paul wrote for john while they were fighting in public in '71 "Often I would think of John, and what a pity it was that we’d argued so publicly and so viciously at times. At the time of writing this song, in early 1971, he’d called the McCartney album ‘rubbish’ in Rolling Stone magazine. It was a really difficult time. I just felt sad about the breakdown in our friendship, and this song kind of came flowing out. ‘Dear friend, what’s the time?/Is this really the borderline?’ Are we splitting up? Is this ‘you go your way; I’ll go mine’?" "I was sort of answering him here, asking, ‘Does it need to be this hurtful?’ I think this is a good line: ‘Are you afraid, or is it true?’ – meaning, ‘Why is this argument going on? Is it because you’re afraid of something? Are you afraid of the split-up? Are you afraid of my doing something without you? Are you afraid of the consequences of your actions?’ And the little rhyme, ‘Or is it true?’ Are all these hurtful allegations true? This song came out in that kind of mood. It could have been called ‘What the Fuck, Man?’ but I’m not sure we could have gotten away with that then." "I would imagine he heard it. I think he listened to my records when they came out, but he never responded directly to me. That was not his way. We were guys; it wasn’t like a boy and girl. In those days you didn’t release much emotion with each other." contains the lines Dear friend, throw the wine / I'm in love with a friend of mine <- make of that what you will
paul reconnecting john/yoko - In an October 2010 interview, Ono spoke about Lennon's "lost weekend" and her subsequent reconciliation with him. She credited McCartney with helping save her marriage to John. "I want the world to know that it was a very touching thing that [Paul] did for John."[275] While visiting Ono in March 1974, McCartney, on leaving, asked "[W]hat will make you come back to John?" McCartney subsequently passed her response to Lennon while visiting him in Los Angeles. "John often said he didn't understand why Paul did this for us, but he did."
PAUL: I was telling you about the marriage thing. When [John and Yoko] broke up, [Yoko] came through London and visited us, which was very nice – Linda and I had just got married a bit before, and we were living in this big old house in St. John’s Wood. And Yoko came by and we started talking, and obviously the important subject for us is, “What’s happened? You’ve broken up, then? You’re here, he’s there. What’s happened?” And she was very nice and confided in us [saying], “Yeah, we’re kind of broken up.” But she was being very strong about it, very – not feminist, but very strong, you know, a strong woman, rather than just submitting to it all. And she said, “No, he’s got to work his way back. If he’s to get back with me, I can’t go—” She couldn’t – which is good. I think she would have been mad to just have gone and prostrated herself at his feet, kind of thing. But she said, “No, he’s gonna have to work at it.”
And I said, “Well look, if I see him – what, are you still in love? Do you still love him?” She said, “Yeah.” I said, “Well, would you be – would you think it was an intrusion if I kind of said to him, ‘Look, man, she loves you and there’s a way to get back, and you can—’” [laughs] Sounds like Beatle songs. Sounds like those – “I send all my loving from me to you.” And I said this to Yoko. I said, “Would that be okay? Would you hate that? You know, we might see him around, and I’d like to be the mediator in this because the two of you have obviously got something pretty strong going.” And she said she didn’t mind. So that was that visit.
Then we went out to visit [John and Harry Nilsson in L.A.] and they were doing Pussy Cats, and it was weird kind of just meeting and everything. But I just said to John, who was in the house with Nilsson, Jesse [Ed Davis], Keith Moon, and a few other guys, and they were all… It was a pretty crazed house there, you know, you hear some of the stories that came out of that that house, and… it was pretty wild days. And I said to [John], “Come on. Come here. Come in the back room, I want to talk to you privately.”
So we went in the back room and I sat him down privately and I said, “Look, I feel a bit like a matchmaker here, but this girl of yours, she really still loves you. Do you love her?” [Like we’re] in the divorce court, you know, a divorce settlement. And he said, “But I don’t know what to do.” I said, “Well, I’ve talked to her,” and so on and so on. “She does still love you, but you’re going to have to work your little ass off, man. You have to get back to New York, you have to take a separate flat, you have to send her roses every fucking day, you have to work at it like a bitch! And you just might get her back.”
Which is sort of what he did. But you’ll never hear that story. You won’t hear that off them because… [pause] I don’t know. It gives me too much – I’m too [much] in the story, then. They don’t want me in the story. They’d prefer to think John – I mean, if you hear it from John’s point of view, it’ll just be that he spoke to Yoko on the phone and she said to him, “Come back,” and sort of worked it out.
john attacking paul's girlfriends - john was a total dick to most girls that were associated with paul lmao. "I remember I had a girlfriend called Celia. I must have been sixteen or seventeen, about the same age as her. She was the first art-college girl I’d ever been out with, a bit more sophisticated. And we went out one evening and for some reason John tagged along. I can’t remember why it was. I think he’d thought I was going to see him, I thought I’d cancelled it and he showed up at my house. But he was a mate, and he came on a date with this Celia girl, and at the end of the date she said, ‘Why did you bring that dreadful guy?’ And of course I said, ‘Well, he’s all right really.’ And I think, in many ways, I always found myself doing that. It was always. ‘Well I know he was rude it was funny, though, wasn’t it?"
George:  One time Paul had a chick in bed and John came in and got a pair of scissors and cut all her clothes into pieces and then wrecked the wardrobe. He got like that occasionally; it was because of the pills and being up too long.
Also he was a dick to Peggy Lipton when she was with paul:
Tumblr media
paul's phone call to hunter davies - “Not long after John’s death, I had some strange conversations with Paul. He seemed so upset by so many things, not least of which was John’s death. This was in May 1981, and I jotted down in a diary some of the things he told me.... very interesting and depressing read...i recommend reading the whole thing
"in bed" - Q magazine 1998:
Tumblr media
paris - "John Lennon was given £100 ahead of his 21st birthday on 9 October 1961. He and Paul McCartney decided to travel to Spain for a holiday. In the end they went no further than Paris. [...] Lennon and McCartney also abandoned bookings which The Beatles had, which led the others to believe that the band may have split up. [...] Lennon and McCartney’s Parisian trip inspired the 1977 Wings song ‘Café On The Left Bank’." very romantic little trip. george was very mad because he needed the money they would've gotten from the canceled gigs. craziest underrated paul quote to me is: There is a very beautiful song called "The End Of The End", the way you talk about your whole ending, and the lyric goes: "It's a start of a journey to a much better place." You mean, better than England? Paul: It's basically a start of a journey to France. Or Spain through France. Yeah, that's what it is. It's a much better place, Paris. long post here about john and paul and paris throughout the years.
tier 6 -
i know (i know) - 1973 song by john. "The curious repetition of the title in parentheses could have been simply one of Lennon’s whims, but it is possible that he was presenting a coded message – not for the first time – to his former bandmate Paul McCartney. Wings’ 1971 album Wild Life had featured the song ‘Some People Never Know’, in which McCartney lamented that some people fail to understand what it means to love. In this light, Lennon’s response saw the pair in agreement, in a marked contrast to their earlier song-based conflicts." compare the opening riff to the opening riff of i've got a feeling. also note the lyrics Today, I love you more than yesterday, And I know it's getting better all the time
"i'd love to turn you on" - "As John and I looked at each other, a little flash went between our eyes, like ‘I’d love to turn you on’, a recognition of what we were doing, so I thought, Okay, we’ve got to have something amazing that will illustrate that."
new york '68 - john and paul went to nyc for a few days to promote apple. absolutely rancid vibes.
In May, John and I went to New York to announce that Apple was starting: ‘Send us your huddled talent.’ We wanted a grand launch, but I had a strange feeling and I was very nervous. I had a real personal paranoia. I don’t know if it was what I was smoking at the time, but it was very strange for me.
I remember sitting up there and being interviewed. John was wearing a bus driver’s or a prefect’s badge, and he was doing well. Linda was there taking photos, and afterwards I said, ‘Couldn’t you tell I was nervous?’ but she said it was fine. For some reason I just felt very uneasy about the whole thing; maybe it was because we were out of our depth. We were talking to media like Fortune magazine, and they were interviewing us as a serious economic force – which we weren’t. We hadn’t done the business planning; we were just goofing off and having a lot of fun.
john's stolen diaries - john lennon's diaries from 1975-1980 that have a storied history. "He wrote about everything, you know, what he ate, what he dreamed, what time he got up in the morning, when he went to the bathroom, what he watched on TV, when he had sex, how much money he was spending, his relationship with Yoko, his relationship with Sean, what he thought about everybody else, especially Paul, just on and on and on. […] On many days, it just seemed like a total stream of consciousness."
lunchroom tapes - bugged conversation during between john and paul and others during the let it filming. there's. a lot going on there have fun.
lsd trip - john accidentally took lsd and paul decided to take it too: "I thought, Maybe this is the moment where I should take a trip with him. It’s been coming for a long time. It’s often the best way, without thinking about it too much, just slip into it. John’s on it already, so I’ll sort of catch up. It was my first trip with John, or with any of the guys. We stayed up all night, sat around and hallucinated a lot.
Me and John, we’d known each other for a long time. Along with George and Ringo, we were best mates. And we looked into each other’s eyes, the eye contact thing we used to do, which is fairly mind-boggling. You dissolve into each other. But that’s what we did, round about that time, that’s what we did a lot. And it was amazing. You’re looking into each other’s eyes and you would want to look away, but you wouldn’t, and you could see yourself in the other person. It was a very freaky experience and I was totally blown away.
There’s something disturbing about it. You ask yourself, ‘How do you come back from it? How do you then lead a normal life after that?’ And the answer is, you don’t. After that you’ve got to get trepanned or you’ve got to meditate for the rest of your life. You’ve got to make a decision which way you’re going to go
I would walk out into the garden – ‘Oh no, I’ve got to go back in.’ It was very tiring, walking made me very tired, wasted me, always wasted me. But ‘I’ve got to do it, for my well-being.’ In the meantime John had been sitting around very enigmatically and I had a big vision of him as a king, the absolute Emperor of Eternity. It was a good trip. It was great but I wanted to go to bed after a while.
I’d just had enough after about four or five hours. John was quite amazed that it had struck me in that way. John said, ‘Go to bed? You won’t sleep!’ ‘I know that, I’ve still got to go to bed.’ I thought, now that’s enough fun and partying, now … It’s like with drink. That’s enough. That was a lot of fun, now I gotta go and sleep this off. But of course you don’t just sleep off an acid trip so I went to bed and hallucinated a lot in bed. I remember Mal coming up and checking that I was all right. ‘Yeah, I think so.’ I mean, I could feel every inch of the house, and John seemed like some sort of emperor in control of it all. It was quite strange. Of course he was just sitting there, very inscrutably."
now and then - beatles song that came out last november with a long history (long post but i recommend looking at the whole thing)
shared dreams - "The teenage Paul McCartney would love the idea of fame. That’s what he was trying to do, that was the dream. But it’s funny – life gives you minor premonitions. You don’t think of them as premonitions until the dream comes true and then you think, ‘Hey, I wonder if that was a sign.’ I remember when John and I were first hanging out together, I had a dream about digging in the garden with my hands. I’d dreamt that before but I’d never found anything other than an old tin can. But in this dream I found a gold coin. I kept digging and I found another. And another. The next day I told John about this amazing dream I’d had and he said, ‘That’s funny, I had the same dream.’ So both of us had this dream of finding this treasure. And I suppose you could say it came true. I remember years later talking about it – ‘Remember that dream we had?’; ‘Yeah, that was far out.’ So the message of that dream was: keep digging, lads."
JOHN: Hey! Did you dream about me last night?
PAUL: [long pause] I can’t remember.
JOHN: Very strong dream. We both dreamt about it. It was amazing! Different dreams, you know, but I thought you must’ve been there. [inaudible] I was touching you. [inaudible]
PAUL: Nothing to worry about, though?
JOHN: Nothing to worry about, no.
carl perkins - "The night before he left, a song came to Carl that summed up his warm feelings about the visit, and he couldn’t get it out of his mind. It was so strong that Carl didn’t even write it down, which he said was strange for him. He usually always wrote his songs down immediately.
In the morning, Carl Perkins sang the song, which he named My Old Friend, for Linda and Paul, saying it was his gift for having him as a guest. Half way through the song, after singing “if we never meet again this side of life, in a little while, over yonder, where there’s peace and quiet, my old friend, won’t you think about me every now and then?” tears streamed down Paul’s face and he stood up and stepped outside.
Not knowing what the matter was, Carl stopped, a bit shaken. Didn’t Paul like the song? Linda warmly put her arms around Carl, and thanked him. She said the song was getting Paul to finally connect with his grief over John Lennon’s death.
Linda explained that the last time Paul talked to John, he had said the same line to Paul: “think about me every now and then, my old friend.”
Carl and Linda were now convinced that the song had been channeled from John Lennon’s spirit, as a gift to Paul."
all my loving - Witnesses noted that the Beatles song "All My Loving" came over the hospital's sound system at the moment Lennon was pronounced dead.
tier 7 - what happened in india? who knows. here's a very long post with quotes about india. it does seem like things were. Different. after the beatles came back from india. a lot of people think Something happened there, like paul rejecting johns romantic advances in some way. i don't buy that even remotely personally. i think everybody spending too much time Thinking and no drugs made everybody go a little nutty. But then again, microphone blowjob

The Completely Unnecessary News Analysis
By Christopher Smart
July 25, 2023
HUNTER BIDEN'S 'JOHNSON' AND THE REAL SCANDAL
There was a surprise witness at the recent House Oversight Committee hearing on an alleged tax fraud coverup — Hunter Biden's schwanzstucker. Nude photos of the president's son are key pieces of evidence entered by Georgia stateswoman Majorie Taylor Green. They show a naked Hunter Biden making porn videos with sex workers, Green alleges. “This is actually the evidence that I believe the American people deserve to see.” No Wilson, you just can't unsee that. Hunter should be tarred and feathered and his father impeached and exiled. It goes back to 2020 when Rudy Giuliani was sniffing out Hunter's business dealings with a Ukrainian energy company as the 2020 election loomed. That led then-President Trump to tell Volodymyr Zelensky to investigate Joe Biden and Hunter or he might withhold $400 million in military aid that was already allocated. Trump was impeached by House Democrats for abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. He was acquitted by Senate Republicans. No wonder House Republicans are so pissed off. The Bidens are so shameless while Trump is getting blamed for silly stuff like insurrection, stealing classified documents, election interference and fraudulent hush money payments to his very own porn star. It's just so unfair.
IS KEN REALLY BARBIE'S GBF?
Hold on to your Barbie. Ken is not her boyfriend. He’s Barbie’s GBF — gay best friend. No Wilson, we are not making this up. That's the word from Barry Levitt writing in The Daily Beast. And he's not the first to say it. When Mattel rolled out Ken in 1961 he was portrayed as Barbie's boyfriend. “Get both Barbie and Ken and see where the romance will lead!” a TV commercial promised. The couple later starred in the 2010 animated film “Toy Story 3,” where they appear as a young couple. Sure, they're good friends, Levitt says, “But through it all, there’s not a hint of sexual chemistry.” When Ken gets his big chance at the DreamHouse he takes Barbie into his closet. (No pun intended.) But instead of going for it, Ken puts on a fashion show for Barbie. OMG! “In Barbie, Ken has found someone who really understands him,” Levitt explains. In 1993 Mattel introduced Magic Earring Ken wearing a lavender mesh shirt, a matching purple leather vest and a necklace with an “O” ring reflecting his sexual preference. Mattel inadvertently made him the essence of '90s queer fashion. Oops! Gay commentator Dan Savage gave him a nice coming out, much to Mattel's chagrin and Earring Ken became a gay icon. Sales were brisk but not just to the parents of little girls. He's was sooo hot.
SLAVERY WAS COOL, PRIMED BLACKS FOR THE GOOD LIFE
Florida is way ahead of the rest of Red States when it comes to rolling back the clock to the good ol' days. Gov. Ron DeSantis and the Florida Board of Education set new standards for African American history that tells the real story of how slavery gave Black people the opportunity to develop skills they could later use when share cropping and running from the Ku Klux Klan. The new K-12 standards put to rest myths by liberal educators that slavery didn't have an upside. What about all that singing? Liberal teachers have been indoctrinating young people into thinking America isn't really great. But now high school students will be taught the truth, like the deadly white mob attack against Black residents of Ocoee, Florida, in 1920, where 35 or more Black people were killed was really violence against African Americans by African Americans. Let freedom ring. DeSantis has been working diligently to create an educational system that protects white students from feeling guilty for bad stuff that might not have happened. Last year he signed the “Stope WOKE Act” to restrict teaching of liberal hogwash. Today many Blacks get big money for things they're forebears learned on the plantations, like smithing horseshoes, digging ditches and picking cotton. Is this a great country or what.
Post script — That's gunna do it for another historic week here at Smart Bomb where we keep track of Mormon history so you don't have to. A new book by Eileen Hallet Stone looks at the history of prostitution in the Territory of Deseret and the early years in the State of Utah. But oddly it was not celebrated in this year's Day's of '47 Parade — there was no “Prostitution Float,” Wilson, and we're not sure why. Salt Lake City, Ogden and Park City have rich histories of bordellos. Regent Street, downtown in the capital city, was a hotbed of such commerce. And a special train ran from downtown Saturday afternoon to the bottom of Heber Avenue in Park City, the mining town's red-light district. It would return to Salt Lake City in time for Sunday services. Men will be men. Speaking of harlots, Barbie is driving the right bonkers. Conservative commentator Ben Shapiro posted a video of himself burning Barbie dolls and then launching into a 43-minute tirade against the “Barbie” movie, saying it is the most woke thing he's ever seen. Texas Sen. Ted Cruz said the movie features Chinese propaganda. And talk radio host Charlie Kirk said the film is “trans propaganda,” and “the most disgusting thing he's ever seen.” Those are the GOP's new ideas on how to tackle the important issues of our time.
Well Wilson, “Barbie” has set the country on its ear with way too much psycho and psychoanalysis. But we know you and the guys in the band won't overthink it. Barbie is a doll for little girls to fantasize about their futures whether they be housewives or astronauts. So let's just skip all the Freudian drama and go back to having fun. Hit it, Wilson:
Well, she got her daddy's car And she cruised through the hamburger stand, now Seems she forgot all about the library Like she told her old man, now And with the radio blasting Goes cruising just as fast as she can now And she'll have fun, fun, fun till her daddy takes the T-bird away Well, the girls can't stand her 'Cause she walks, looks and drives like an ace, now She makes the Indy 500 look like a Roman chariot race, now You look like an ace now, you look like an ace A lot of guys try to catch her But she leads them on a wild goose chase, now And she'll have fun, fun, fun till her daddy takes the T-bird away Fun, fun, fun, 'till her daddy takes the T-bird away Well, you knew all along That your dad was getting wise to you, now And since he took your set of keys You've been thinking that your fun is all through, now But you can come along with me 'Cause we've got a lot of things to do, now And we'll have fun, fun, fun now that daddy took the T-bird away And we'll have fun, fun, fun now that daddy took the T-bird away Wooo-ooo-Aaaah!
