“are you sure about this, minho?” you asked your boyfriend nervously, your fingers anxiously gripping his as the two of you stood in front of his family’s apartment door, shoes taken off and carelessly tossed to the side of the welcome mat. 

“it can’t be that bad,” minho let out a small sigh, turning to look at you. “i’m sure my parents will love you.” 

you nodded, grabbing your boyfriend’s arm as he turned the knob of the smart door, pushing the entrance to the apartment open, with cheerful greetings from his mother and father echoing within the interior of the home. 

“minho, you’re finally home,” his mother made a beeline to the door, pulling her son into a tight embrace, separating you from him. “and i see you’ve brought your girlfriend.”

“hello,” you bowed politely to the elder woman, trying to hide your anxiousness.

minho’s mother smiled at you, returning a greeting before gesturing to the dining table, where minho’s father was waiting. “please, join us for dinner.” 

minho locked his fingers with yours once more, and led you to the dining table, pulling out a chair for you to sit in before he sat down himself. unbeknownst to you and minho, his parents threw each other sly smirks at their son’s antics.

the dinner went more smoothly than you expected, and minho’s parents were delighted that he was dating you, and welcomed you into their family quite quickly. although his father had the same cold exterior minho had when you first met him, he quickly warmed up to you. 

“thank you for the dinner.” you smiled at the two.

“of course! don’t forget to see soonie, doongie and dori on your way out!” she exclaimed as she picked up the dirty dishes from the dining table. 

“soonie, doongie, and dori?” you turned to look at minho, questioning what his mother had just told you. 

“ah,” minho smiled sheepishly, scratching the back of his nape. “i have three cats. let me introduce them to you.” 

he gently led you to a room neighboring his parents’ and slowly opened the door to reveal three cats crowding the entrance to the room, looking up at minho and meowing in delight once they saw their owner. 

“this is soonie,” minho gestured at a ginger cat. “this is doongie,” minho pointed at a ginger cat with more white fur covering him. “and this is dori.” finally, dori was revealed as the brown cat with dark markings.

while soonie and doongie were busy crowding minho, dori approached you and sniffed you curiously. you let dori sniff your index finger first, so that he would become more accustomed to your scent. he paused and sniffed it carefully, before headbutting your knuckles. 

“seems like dori likes you,” minho chuckled as he pet soonie and doongie. “the maknae’s always been a curious baby.” 

you chuckled and watched as dori gently smacked his head against the back of your hand until you pet him, and a low purr rose from his throat as you scratched the back of his ears. 

after bothering minho, the other two cats approached you, with soonie playfully hitting dori on the head with his paw. the two cats tackled each other and scrambled on the floor, play fighting as doongie blinked his round green eyes, watching them fight, his tail wrapped around his paws. 

“we should probably get going soon,” minho rose from the ground, turning to look at you. 

“do we have to? i don’t want to leave them behind,” you chuckled, becoming suddenly attached to minho’s cats. 

“don’t worry love, you’ll see them more often in the future,” he helped you rise from the floor, pressing a small peck on your forehead. “i’ll make sure of it.” 

you chuckled, giving minho a kiss on the lips. “you really seem to care about them, hmm?” 

“of course. they’re my home,” minho smiled sadly as he watched soonie, doongie and dori play as he shut the door behind you two.

daisy’s notes: did you know that cats’ purr has a healing property to it...... wack. then why does my back always hurt.

from the moment minho stepped foot into your shared apartment, he knew something was off. doongie hadn’t run to greet him  like always did with a fussy meow because minho had left him to begin with. therefore: something was wrong.

he called out your name first, because he saw that your shoes were in the entryway and your slippers were still gone. which meant that you did come home from work before he did and weren’t caught up in something else. and then he called for each cat a moment later when calling your name netted him no response. usually, he’d at least get doongie or dori to come running up and fussing at him for abandoning them (he’d learned that soonie was more attached to you at times: he liked curling up in your lap, and you liked pampering him and sneaking him treats).

“honey?” he called out, hoping that calling you by the term of endearment would get your attention. minho rarely used it, after all--and it was usually reserved for moments when he felt extra affectionate... or when he was worried like he was now.

dori came bolting out of the bedroom, chasing a jingly-ball toy that the two of you had bought in a pack. minho watched as dori batted it around for a moment, not caring that his owner and dad was right there, only for the call of your voice--”traitor!”--to get his attention.

and then he made his way to the bedroom, pushing the door open to reveal where you were lying in bed with your phone in your hand. soonie was comfortably curled up next to you, while doongie had curled up on your lower abdomen, eyes closed and purring loud enough that minho could hear it when he grew a little closer. 

he watched you for a moment. “are you okay?” he sat down beside you. “usually you’re playing games when i come home.”

“just bad cramps,” you reached out for his hand, bringing it to your lips so you could press your lips against his knuckles. “doongie decided he’s a better heating pad than the water bottle.”

minho looked over to where you’d draped it near you, and reached out for it. it’d gone cold at some point. “is he helping?”

doongie opened his eyes, looking up at minho with a fussy meow. soongie merely kept kneading into your side, curling back up happily.

you cracked a smile “he is. dori was here until he decided playing was more important than comforting me while i’m dying.”

minho smiled at your dramatics, leaning into press a kiss to your forehead. “did you take more medicine?”

“can’t.” you sighed. “it’s too soon. i set an alarm for when i can take more.”

he reached out to pet doongie, who’s purring grew louder at the action. he’d always been the more vocal one, and apparently that was extending to purring, too. “they say cats purring can help heal you.”

“good thing we have three,” you smiled at him. “four, if we count you.”

another small smile from a man enamored with you in every possible way. he almost wanted to tease you back with some sort of five, because if i’m a cat, then you’re a cat, too. but he instead leaned in to kiss your forehead again, before planting another against your lips. “i’ll make dinner tonight.”

“it’s my turn to--”

“next time i don’t feel like it, i’ll let you know,” he said. “so you can make up for it.” let me take care of you right now. he knew how bad your cramps were. he turned to doongie, taking another moment to pet him again with a kiss onto the top of the kitty’s head and a quiet “stay with her and take care of her,” to him, as if he would fully understand the request.

at least minho knew that you were cared for by more than just him. he could happily devote himself to cooking dinner and dodging dori when he knew you were happy with the other two to comfort you.

Sharing his warmth with you he slowly hugs you. He caresses your back and says the sweetest things. He will not let you go. You have to stay here, safe in his arms.

Hyunjin: Our sweet boy, pulls you away from whatever causes you distress. Even if it's just your own head, he will change the scenery to get your mind to clear up. Peppers you with kisses to take your mind off things, making you laugh with his overbearing love. He gives you the sweetest affirmation and keeps you by his side the whole time.

Jisung: The first half of the joins you duo. He tries to hold back his own tears and makes some bad jokes, to make you laugh with tears in his own eyes. He throws a spontaneous sleepover party at his place, getting snacks for you, ordering takeout, and watching movies with you the whole night. Until you forgot why you were crying in the first place.

Felix: Second half of the joins you duo. He will just openly cry along. Which makes you worried, and then he feels bad about worrying you and makes him cry harder and then you cry because he cries. And maybe both of you just need a deep breath. After you both calm down he stays with you and holds you in your sleep. Bakes you brownies the next day.

Seungmin: The most objective on the outside. Will ask you if you want advice or support. Gives you whatever you need. Talks out the situation calmly, while you lay your head on his chest. But on the inside, he is very stressed and feels like crying too. Seeing you hurt is the most painful thing to him. But he keeps up his tough boy facade to comfort you.

Jeongin: Doesn't know what to do so he just hugs you. Holding you tightly, hiding your face in his neck. Saying sweet nothings, whispering whatever sweet words come to his mind. When he lets you go he gives you his hoodie to put on and wraps you in a blanket so you feel like he is still hugging you while he orders takeout and gets you ice cream.

Srmary: Minho and you have been dating for long time but he never got a chance to Introduce you to his beloved cats and so today ist that day.

There was a small problem. Well maybe not so small. Well, Minho had invited you over to meet his cats for the first time. You two had been dating for a year now and he thought it was about time . The cats were at his parents house, and sense they had already met you, they were out of town for a week. Now the problem was that they absolutely loved you.

Ever since you walked in and Minho introduced you to Soongi, Dori and Doongi they have been all over you. Now technically that was a good thing, but he also invited you over so you two can spend some time together. You were going to order Pizza and have some Ice cream afterwards, but as he glanced over to the living room he saw the girl he adored more than anything...playing with his cats.

As much as he loved being in Stray kids, it meant that you two couldn't be with each other as much as you wanted to. He also couldn't be with you out in public. He has snuck you into his dorm before and all the guys know you, but who could really blame him for wanting you all to himself.

Now the only thing standing, well technically lying, in his way were hia fur babies.

As he stood, with his elbows resting on the kitchen counter, he looked over at the couch. You had dozed off, with Soongi on your lap, Doongi on your chest, and Dori in between them ( I WANT). He felt a strange feeling of jealousy...for his cats.

You haven't kissed, hugged or cuddles him since you walked through the door. To be completely honest, he was tired of it. So he started plotting a way to get his girlfriend away from his cats. After few minutes of deliberating of what he should do, he finally got an idea.

He stalked his way over to you, his socks sliding over the floor. Once he gpt to the couch he gently sat down and pulled the cats off you. It took some effort and he may or may not have been left with few scratches on his hand. Once at your side he took a deep breath. "This is the only way.." he whispered with a sly smirk on his face.

He pressed his lips on yours gently and looked at you lovingly. When he realized that won't wake you up he decided to let his Cat side slide in and gently licked your cheek.

It was warm...and slightly wet!? You weren't sure what it was, and as you slowly opened your eyes you saw the culprit. Minho was sitting next to you, stating into your now open eyes. " Hello my Cheshire cat" you smirked at him.

"Hey kitten ~" A blush krept up on ur cheeks at the nickname. He moved forward nuzzled his face into your neck "I want some love too" he whined. A smile moved to your lips.

"Aww baby, are you jealous?" He sat up and looked at you longingly. His eyes piercing your soul.

"Maybe..." You laughed and opened your arms for hug, cause lets ne honest, theres nothing better than a Minho hug. Well, almost anything.

Instead of hugging you, he brought his hand to your cheek, "Y/N..I love you" you looked at him lovingly, your eyes traveling to his lips. He was looking at you too.

"Can I kiss you? " Youn smiled, no matter how many times you kissed, he always asked if you were okay with it. He wasn't nervous, he just didnt wanted to make you uncomfortable. You nodded.

He titled your head up slightly and brought his lips over to yours, his hands traveled to your waist pulling you even closer and your hand shifted to his neck. He ran his tongue slowly along your bottom lip asking, and you granted his request happily. His to tongue slipped into your mouth, the feeling of his tongue on yours never chased to amaze you.

You played with his hair at the base of his neck, and gave it a light tug. A deep growl came from Minhos throat, then you felt him smirk against your lips. Gently, he bit your bottom lip causing you to moan in return.

Eventually, you both needed to breath and you pulled away, "I love you too Minho~" you looked up at him smiling, "now come here." You opened your arms and Minho moved forward. Your arms wrapped around him, keeping him close. He nuzzled his face into your neck, occasionally kissing it lightly. He traveled upwards, planting small kisses along your jawline, chin and then back down to your neck.

"I dont think ill ever let my cats near you again," he mumbled. You kissed the top of his head and chuckled softly. The two of you stayed like that for awhile. Eventually, you both fell asleep.

A few hours later, you had reluctantly woken up to the sound of the front door closing. Your boyfriend, however wasn't there. With a sight you yawned and stretched your arms. Once you sat up you looked around. Just as you turned towards the door way, Minho walked in.

He was carrying boxes and a small bag. "Did I wake you? Im sorry." You smiled and shook your head.

Dont worry babe, what you git there?" You walked over to your boyfriend and kisses his cheek.

"Well..I didn't really feel like cooking so I went and pick up some pizza. And to make our plans for this evening come true I also bought some ice cream (whats your favourite Ice cream flavour?) And I've got some Cherries." Your eyes lit up with joy, Minho smiled at you " well sense its getting late, why dont yiu stay here for tonight?" He smirked playfully.

Well only if we can cuddle up on the couch and watch frozen" Minho nodded happily and placed the pizza boxes on the counter. He then suddenly picked you up and hugged you.

"I missed you so much, you know that? " You giggled softly before showering his face with soft kisses as you held into him.

"Ive missed you too baby " He smiled and pecked your lips as he sat you both on the couch and prepare the pizza and put ice scream into bowls. Then he turned the move on. You both shared each others ice cream and pizza. You had so much fun together and laughed at Olaf scenes, Minho didnt hesitate to sing Elsa song and bless your ears 🤭.

The cats had managed to get back on the couch, this time with the both of you. Thats where you remained until the next day.
