I’m really excited for Caleb, I’ve always liked him and believed he’d be an LI so the fact he’s around the corner after so long is very exciting.

His trailer was amazing, I enjoyed every scene. It left us with more questions than answers, which I don’t mind because I like theorising about him. I cannot wait for the games update and discover what Caleb is up to.

Caleb looks good af btw. I always thought he was good looking and I know others disagreed, but everyone seems to like his appearance now. Idk if they changed his face at all because he looks different and the same. His airforce/military outfit is definitely a contributing factor, his new wardrobe is doing him a lot of favours. If the MC gets a matching outfit I’ll be really happy. But I feel like his face has also changed alongside his demeanour. At first he was your sweet, boy next door and now he’s…whatever that is. I’m not sure what to describe him as now but I’m not complaining, I like both sides of him equally.

This new side of him is dangerous though, which is a huge contrast to how he was perceived at the start of the game. He took down a man with his Evol without moving a finger, or even looking at him - he’s clearly very powerful and I wonder how he compares with the other LI’s. And he possessed this power before the explosion, and we literally see his eye in the sky as well - what is he capable of? I always believed he and MC were both experimented on and this trailer seems to confirm some of that theory was true, after all, what was grandmas reasoning to care for Caleb?

Ever since Sylus released, although he was initially advertised to be morally grey or an antagonist, I always felt that he was a red herring and instead Caleb was the more morally skewered LI, after all, even before the explosion you could tell he was involved in something. I don’t think Caleb will be a villain, but I believe he’s doing bad things for a good cause, something that ultimately ties to the MC. I also think he was the target in the explosion, not MC or the grandma. And I think he always knew this explosion was going to occur.

For his initial myth, I think he’ll use no weapons like Zayne, and for the following myth, he’ll end up being a claymore user. I also wonder if the MC’s story with Caleb started in the past, or this is the first timeline they’ve met, and one of the myths will be set in the future? If so, what type of mythical creature is/was Caleb? I hope I manage to pull both sets of myths when they release so I can find out!

Also, I’m glad people are finally switching up on Caleb. For the past year I’ve seen people hate on him endlessly, especially this week. I’ve been in the trenches for months saying they’ll switch up when he releases. I haven’t seen anyone say anything bad about him since this trailer so maybe I was right.
