very...VERY unpopular opinion but...

Sometimes underdeveloped characters are the best of the series because you can project yourself on them or develop interesting headcanons for them.

If you're a vocal synth fan and disagree with this...Idfk what to say, You probs have headcanons of your favourite vocal synth character which ironically has no "canon", "personality", or stuff, it's all just fanon. Checkmate~!

Idk if this counts as lost media or not but this had been bothering me that I can't find this artist's work--

So, There's this artist called Can Sinda. I've heard their music "You are a pink candle" in some videos (one youtube, another a Flipnote animation--). So I saw @neokungachakid1's Edits with Funshine and Goodluck in Variety jackets a while ago and I wanted to draw them-- hope you like it Neo!

So have the Bois in their new jackets--also trying a new shading technique so yea-- I personally think I did well but I can see many mistakes lol

Sonic art dump!!!

I've drawn a lot of sonic characters this past month so I figured I would share ^^

none of these are really in order but the first five are from atleast two weeks or so ago at most and from then on after are from yesterday and today!

the colored shadow and espio I colored with a random color pallet with my computer in greyscale and it happened to be their colors fdgdfgdf

I like drawing a wide variety of characters cuz i wanna get better at it. (ignore the fact almost a third of it is silver) It's a nice exercise to get out of my comfort zone.

I'm also taking requests if anyone wants to request a specific character by any chance ^^

Before you come at me: These categories are not perfect. Some of them are sub-categories of a bigger family (Indo-European), some languages are in the same category but sound really different etc etc. I had to leave out or group some of these together in a way that I felt made most sense for what I wanna know & the demographics of this site. I'm not a linguistics expert.

Maybe controversial, but on posts about being dumb where girls are like saying ‘but I’m actually smart.’ Like tbh, I don’t really believe them. Like if you’re smart why does feeling dumb feel so good or hot or whatever to you then? I kinda feel like it’s having an excuse to let go of trying as much as you would be when you’re saying your smart. If you’re like really actually smart, I don’t feel like a break from ‘being smart’ would be such a relief or like as appealing.

i was wondering what would have happened if ianthe had successfully cut her own arm off and regrown a flesh magic one on her own, so i did some doodles to play around with different concepts for it.

my thoughts on the matter below....if u even care

my initial idea was like, to do a very noodley string of flesh. something very rubbery, sticky, and stretchy. because anything she created wouldn't have the support of bones, i thought maybe it could be very flexible to compensate. she doesn't have a regular hand, and so the "string" wraps around the base of objects to give her a grip on it. for heavier objects, she fuses the veins on the string to the handle of the object, as well as adds more veins on the "shoulder" and "elbow" sections for more support. also i thought it'd be funny to watch her try and slap someone, so she winds her shoulder back and smacks them like an arcade sticky hand which is hilarious to visualize for me LOL

anyways, i figure she made the noodle arm as a Oh My God I Just Cut My Arm Off I Need To Replace It Quick type of solution. it's temporary, but sort of works. then it's like. okay we need more muscle on this because this is kinda impractical, so she adds onto the base (near the shoulder), and it eventually forms into a weird tentacle thing, throbbing and veiny and gross, that tapers into a thin strand near the end, to keep the whole Wrapping Around Objects To Grab Them (although this sacrifices some of the stretchiness in favor of strength) but it is kinda interesting to have her switch between the two (and perhaps other shapes i didn't think of yet) based on which is more appropriate for the situation, sort of like a swiss arm knife but made of meat.............. and so yea that was just my idea on how she would have done a flesh arm as opposed to having harrow's bone arm (: lots of fun concepts and much more to explore but this is just my first attempt .. for now maybe
