ellie with da bunny!reader requests once again !!!! could u do an alastor x bunny!reader where they were married in life, and alastor always called her a little rabbit, and now that thwyre in hell... he finds it soo amusing that shes a bunny demon :3c
an : bunny reader gives me life,, domestic alastor is just so dreamy nd cute n i love our big loser deer man
— 𝜗𝜚 alastor x female reader sfw. marriage. domesticated alastor. blood. gore. stabbing. alastor was a big scary serial killer.
domestic life with alastor was your favourite thing in the world, you didn’t need anything as long as he was by your side. and that reigned true from the shitty expanse of the earth where you and he made yourself a home to the dark depths of hell where you found peace with him in all the chaos.
up on earth, alastor always called you his ‘little rabbit’, so small and fragile, he thought it fit very well. especially considering how you met.
you met in a forest, with muddy feet and hair awry, tears streaming down your soft cheeks and alastor in front of you with a knife to mans throat. how romantic?
it was the 1930’s. alastor, the dexter-like serial killer he was, was saving your life. the fightening scene before you having you paralysed, gawking in horror as he slashed a mans throat. you knew you should’ve run, should’ve screamed, should’ve done something, anything. but you didn’t. alastors eerie smile plastered on his face as he looked at you, letting his strained voice resonate through the trees. “run rabbit, run rabbit, run-“ stab. “run-“ stab. “run-“ stab. reiterating all the words with a fatal prod to the man’s throat.
such a scary song when sung to you like that.
you stepped back, hands over your mouth, your feet moving without thinking, backing up, going further into the trees, too afraid to take your eyes away from what was in front of you. your head a mess with a frenzy of worrying thoughts going wild. so loud you didn’t notice a branch in the path, tripping and falling into a dizzying state. the white dress the man had put you in browning from the soil as you collided with the dirt, a soft sob slipping past your lips. the first noise you’d made since alastor arrived.
your vision blurred with the pounding of your head and time became subjective. you didn’t know if it had been a few minutes or thirty. barely able to keep your eyes open when you were brought out of it by the faint sound of footsteps moving toward you.
“my, my. what a clumsy little rabbit,” alastor muttered, bringing his face into your line of site. waiting with a soft smile for you to come to and look at him. “hey, little one, no, stay with me, no blacking out on me, sweetheart.” his fingers coming up to click in front of your face in attempt to ground you. his calm demeanour doing everything to contradict his blood splashed slacks and white shirt. he looked vicious. a soft sheen of sweat on his forehead and all the veins in his forearms bulging from his brutal attack.
your eyes unglazed ever so slightly, piecing your vision back together looking down as your voice broke, whispering, not daring to look at the man in front of you. “a- are you going to kill me too?” it came out weak and hopeless, exactly how you felt.
alastor dropped his smile, faltering before fully kneeling down to your height in attempt to seem less frightening. “heavens no, little rabbit,” his features now switching to that infamous grin he still wears to this day. “im here to save you. to protect you from that monster. he should’ve thought twice before attempting such filthy things on a pretty girl like you.”
you looked up to him with big doe eyes, brimmed with unshed tears that threatened to spill with the ones already dried out on your doughy cheeks. “i’m so- i’m- i’m sorry, i- i should’ve helped more, should’ve ran.”
a look of hurt, from your words, shone in alastors eyes before returning to his stoic mask, “don’t worry about that,” he promised then paused, choosing his next words very carefully for your vulnerable state. “can i touch you?” he elongated both his arms inches away from you but gentle as not to make contact. “i need to make sure youre not hurt, little one.” another pause, his eyes searching your own. “please?” you pulled the flesh of your bottom lip between your teeth before nodding subtly, anticipating his touch.
alastors hands lowered to you slowly, carefully skimming over your face, fingers tracing your features as he looked for any cuts or bruises. he trailed down, letting his featherlight touch move your malleable body to inspect every inch of you, only stopping briefly before coming to your knees. his thumbs rubbing soft lines over the bloodied joints that were no doubt from the impact of being forced to kneel and your fall. but alastor didn’t want to think about that.
“may i take you somewhere? my home, more specifically, to tend to these cuts? i wont hurt you anymore than i have to, i promise, little rabbit.”
it was hard to focus with his fingers still brushing over your knees, “o-okay.”
surprise filled your eyes as alastors hands shifted, hooking his arms under you and scooping you up into his embrace. you wrapped your limbs around him in return, immediately feeling a wave of safety in his arms. “i need to make sure youre out of harms way before i take care of this body, i can’t leave a little thing like you out here with dangerous men lingering.” he said it so casually like he wasn’t talking about disposing of a body. but your thoughts only lingered on the part of him prioritising your safety. “im already dangerous enough for you.”
a thought ran past your head, a pang of irrational jealousy bubbling up your throat, “do- do you take everyone you save back to your home?”
alastor sighed, taking his gaze elsewhere, to the moon in the distance as he played with the tattered dress scrunched up on your plushy thighs. “no,” he mumbled, “they usually run from me. i’ll follow them until i know they’re safe but my intent is never to scare them more.” he returned to look at you again, “why haven’t you ran from me? you may be hurt but you’re still capable of running and i am a man with a knife who you’ve just seen kill whilst smiling with no remorse. makes me question if im the sane one between the three of us.” he gestured his head back to the dead body behind him. hearty smile easing you even more from the corner of your eye.
“i don’t know-“ you whisper and he looks at you in a way that makes you feel like you hung the stars. his hands now under your dress to the tops of your thighs to rub circles in attempt to calm your nerves, lulling you into a sense of comfort for the first time tonight.
“sweetheart, try and get some sleep, can you do that for me? i’ve got you, you’re safe and i can see you fighting so hard to keep those pretty eyes open, i promise you’ll be okay.” you stammered a soft ‘okay’ past your lips as the dizziness from finally moving started taking over you, involuntarily nuzzling into his neck from the fleeting adrenaline. “besides,” he whispered directly into your ear, pressing an uncharacteristically tender kiss to your temple.“you need all the rest before we get there. my ma is going to love you, little rabbit. she’s always wanted me to bring a girl home.” you didn’t even register his words as the world became dark with your head on his shoulder.
“and i think ive found the prettiest one,” he whispered once he saw your breaths go from being heavy to a minimal rise and fall. your first encounter with him becoming one you’ll never forget.
now to your arrival in hell. the unexpected meeting where a man and his wife were reunited years and years after parting before being inseparable in their past lives.
alastor always thought you ended up in heaven so imagine his surprise, long after his death when you stumbled to his feet in hell, looking just how he left you. but now with soft bunny ears that mingled with your hair, cute little cotton tail above your ass and a nose twitching so nervously with those big, wide eyes staring up at him like you did all those years ago in that forest. a chuckle slipping out from alastor beyond the shock, “so you really are meant to be my little rabbit forever, aren’t you, my pretty bunny?”
a soft huff and a pouty expression crept onto your face, “been your bunny since you saved me in those woods and you know it.”
alastors finger rested under your chin, lolling your head back to look up at him. “precisely, now come here and give your husband a kiss, its been far too long without you,” and so you did, spending the rest of your life in hell sounded perfect if it was with the love of your life, the man that saved you, your, now, radio demon.

Unedited
The other half of the bed is cold.
It usually always is, but it still causes a sleepy frown to pull at the edges of your lips. The covers, thick and warm, slide down your shoulders as you sit up in bed. Goosebumps scatter across your skin, the cold penetrating through the thin material of your night gown. The room is dark, the only light being a sliver of silvery moon through a crack in the heavy drapes.
You turn to your night stand, blinding searching the surface until your fingers brush against a box of matches. The sound of matches shifting fill the quiet room as you open the box, pulling a single match and striking it. The yellow light flickers, creating a small glow. You use it to find the candle lantern on the bedside, opening the small window before lighting the wick. You wave your hand to extinguish the flame, discarding the burned match into a dusty ash tray.
You shiver when your bare feet hit the cold floor, your hand grabbing at the handle of the lantern. You use the dull light to guide you, walking to the wooden door of your chambers. You hesitate before opening it, the wood protesting with a groan. When you peak your head out, you're met with nothing. The vast hall is brighter than your sleeping chambers, the curtains drawn back to let the moonlight in. You step out quietly, keeping a steady hand on the door to prevent it from slamming shut.
The stone floor is lined with a long carpet, muffling your steps. The material is slightly scratchy, and you get distracted from the feel whenever you hear a strange noise. You stop before hesitantly continuing again, trying to will away the paranoia clawing at your nerves. The castle's halls are eerie at night, making you uneasy. You try to rationalize your fears away, pushing ahead.
As if to justify your paranoia, a large arm suddenly tugs at your waist. Your gasp is muffled by a gloved hand placed over your mouth, the strong body pulling you into a dark corridor. Your wide eyes are forced to look straight ahead, body stiffening against the metal pushing against your back. You can hear the plates of armor shifting as the body leans forward, warm breath hitting your neck.
"You should be in bed, princesa."
Your body instantly slackens, the arms around you loosening. You lift the lantern higher up as you turn. You glare at the shadowed features of your husband.
"And you should be in our bed."
Miguel's in his knight's armor, sword sheathed at his hip. The clunky metal adds to the largeness he already possesses, making him frightening to everyone but you. You don't remember a time you haven't seen him in his armor, a saddening thought for a wife yearning for closeness. This man is your husband, yet you don't even know what he looks like dawning anything but metal and chain mail.
"You shouldn't walk around at night unattended." Miguel's eyes are focused on your face, but they shift downwards. "Especially not in your current attire."
Your eyes follow his gaze, looking down at your chest. You let out a scandalized gasp as you see your hardened nipples- sensitive to the cold- poking through your thin gown. You quickly throw an arm over your chest, cheeks flaring. You turn your back to Miguel, clearing your throat.
"Well," you squeak as you turn your head to look back at him, "good thing my husband is here to escort me back to our room."
Miguel makes a gruff noise at the back of his throat, but he doesn't protest as he gently takes the lamp from your grasp. He lifts the lantern high enough to illuminate your path, but he still places his hand against the small of your back to guide you. You shiver at the warmth radiating from his palm, unused to his touch. His hand applies slight pressure to encourage you to walk forward, and you stumble on your first step before composing yourself.
The walk is silent, only your dull steps filling the space. Your eyes stray to Miguel as you walk, taking him in. The lantern casts harsh shadows against his face, and his own attentive eyes focus straight ahead. They dart from side to side, accessing the space for any threats. He looks stunning, a gorgeous knight.
Miguel's eyes shift down to you, eyes squinting in question as he catches you staring. You turn your head sharply, thanking the darkness for blanketing your blush. You're lucky to stop in front of the chamber doors, watching as Miguel pushes the door open with a hand to let you enter. You mumble your thanks as you pass, heading towards your bed.
Miguel sets the lamp on your nightstand as you sit on the edge of your bed, silently watching him. Miguel turns to look at you, sighing before he walks over. He towers over you, pulling the covers back to reveal a space for you to lay in. You sink into the empty spot, eyes trained on Miguel's face as he fixes the covers over your body. You sigh softly as the furs instantly give you warmth, snuggling into the bed. Miguel lingers for a moment before he moves to turn.
Your hand shoots out quickly, wrapping around his wrist. He stops, his eyes dropping to your small hand before turning his head to you. You gulp nervously, opening your mouth and then closing it. Your eyes divert to the still-lit candle before meeting his eyes again.
"Stay? Please?"
Miguel's lips thin, looking down at you. A heavy pang of disappointment slams into our chest as he shakes off your hold, turning his back to you. You watch as he walks towards the door, only for him to stop. He turns to his side slightly, heavy hand reaching out until it grabs at the wooden chair that rests beside your vanity. He lifts it effortlessly with a single hand as he turns back towards you, setting it down near your side of the bed. Your heart skips a beat as his heavy body causes the wood to creak, shifting in the chair. His legs are spread, arms crossed as his eyes fall to your astonished face.
"Only until you fall asleep. I have duties to attend to."
A protest scratches at your chest, but you hold it back. This is already much for him, something he was never done before. You are willing to settle for this small peace. You nod, mumbling your agreement before you sink back into the bed. Miguel's hand comes up to fix the covers again, making sure they are snug against your shoulders. His hand comes to trace the shape of your jaw, caressing the soft skin before pulling away. Your eyes close at the affectionate gesture, blinking slowly open.
You can feel sleep tugging at your eyes, but you fight against it as you stare at him. You don't want to sleep through this moment. You want him to stay as long as possible. You want this to last.
Some emotion flashes across Miguel's face as he pulls his hand away, something you can't decipher. Your brows furrow as you try to figure it out and simultaneously fight away sleep. Your tiredness must be obvious as Miguel's eyes soften. He hesitates for a second before his thumb reaches up to smooth over the skin between your eyes. His fingers move higher up, pushing hair away from your forehead. He pauses before he leans down, placing a tentative kiss to your skin.
"Sleep. I will be here when you wake up."
He whispers it so quietly that it almost gets swallowed by the silence. But, it's enough to sooth any anxiety in your body. You don't try as hard to fight the tiredness, letting your eyes flutter one final time.
__________________________________________
When you wake, the first thing you see is the empty chair.
Something ugly pokes at your chest as you remember his words. A promise unkept. Your room is still dim from the drawn curtains, the maids not yet arrived to wake you. Your eyes shift up to the candle, the wax melted down to the wick. It must have burned throughout the night. You sigh heavily as you go to push yourself up and out of this disappointment.
You are met with resistance, an arm once again wrapping around your waist.
You turn your head quickly, looking down at the sleepy eyes of Miguel. He's in a light linen shirt, the sight causing you to blush ferociously. He hums in his sleep, arm tightening to coax you back into bed. You slowly settle back down, turning your body to face his chest. He sighs, something relaxed and content, as he pulls you closer to his chest. You're hit with his scent, something that makes your heart race.
His grip on your waist lightens, his other hand sliding between your neck and pillow to play with your hair. You hide your face in his chest, not wanting him to see how the sleepy gestures affect you.
"Stay." Miguel mumbles into your hair, lips brushing against your scalp. "It's still early."
You don't respond, only snuggle closer.
"You kept your word," You can't help but mumble, a wondrous undertone to your words.
Miguel stiffens a bit, before letting out a dismissive hum and relaxing.
Always, he thinks in his head, I'll always keep my word to you.

Floating in The Blue Lagoon
. . .
. . .
Summary: Another day stuck in this world, another shady job from Crowley to Yuu, this time surrounding the aware, eerie Octavinelle. What can possibly go wrong?
Inspiration: The new tweels cards- Come on nOw
Side note: Between me and u, I was first going w the faceless first POV Yuu so everyone could imagine whatever. But then I saw M Yuu fanarts and I was like fck... another fandom where I imply gay rel!! 🤧
...
"Thank you soo much dear!" The familiar nasal voice spoke behind Yuu as the tall man nudged him toward his office door. "You're such a treasure for doing this, truly!"
"M-Matte-" Yuu began to protest, but before he could say more, Crowley pushed him out, Grim swaying in his arms with the mysterious box Crowley had trusted into his paws moments ago.
He spun around, hoping to be fast enough to stop the door from closing - even considering sacrificing Grim by throwing him like a Pokémon at the madman in the crow mask.
Yet before Yuu could do just that, Crowley was already giving them a wide grin, bidding them, Au revoir~ , and, Good luck, with a little wave before shutting the door in their stunned faces.
The sound of the door closing echoed through the empty hallway in the upper tower, leaving Yuu and Grim blankly staring at the bold golden letters spelling 'The Greatest Headmaster' on the dark wood.
They both blinked, bewilderedly, as the reality of their newly assigned 'homework' fully sunk in, making them soon grimace in annoyance.
'Maybe if I wish hard enough the chicken will combust into crispy KFC.' Yuu thought, glancing briefly at Grim in his arms once he spoke up.
"Soo..." Grim trailed off, his piercing blues peered up at Yuu, who kept glaring at the door. "Are we doing this or-"
Before he could finish, Yuu cut him off with a flat voice, "You think we can pass the RWA entrance exam?"
Silenced followed his 'question' until Grim spoke again, his voice resigned. "We are doing this."
Not a question, but a statement that simply stated the fact of the matter. Feeling there was no need to verbally confirm and make the situation that much more annoying, Yuu simply nodded with a blank face.
Choosing not to comment on Grim's swishing tail or how the Hades flames raised just so from his ears as he huffed and grumbled, the soft noise of sharp claws damaging a tough surface sounded through the halls right after.
Seeing no sense in standing around and prolonging the inevitable, Yuu let out a long sigh. Turning to leave, he fully accepted that instead of proper sleep, they'd return to their dorm around one AM.
'If luck enables us that is.' He grumbled internally, 'Should probably avoid Vil for two days…' Even the mental image of Pomefiore's house warden seeing his panda eyes brought chills down his spine.
And don't let him start on Riddle. Ugh...
Yuu trailed off with his thoughts to the potential scenarios they could experience if not careful in avoiding certain house wardens, not minding the feeling of Grim's tail encircling his hand as the grey furball continued throwing foreign words under his breath.
A slightly twisted thought crossed Yuu's mind - how bad would it be to let Grim unleash his irritation on the headmaster? But before the bitter seed could flourish into a poisons flower, Yuu quickly shook his head.
'This world is getting to me the longer I stay.' He mused. Part of hin started to feel comfortable in this magical world they were thrown into, and yet...the other part still longed to return to the warmth of his home.
Truly...Yuu truly didn't know what was the thought process when he oh so optimistically thought that, hey! I have friends, right? Me and Grim don't need to share this 'experience' alone.

Before Yuu could follow up with a replay that would ask the Ignihyde brothers to come down and help them, the bold letter spelling 'Chat restricted until 10 AM, tomorrow' flashed over the screen.
'Fair.' Yuu thought.
Attempt NO3, aka the last resort, shows just how desperate he was at this point and regretted the second after sending the message to them.
Die Schönheit und die Süßen
- So... (11:20 PM 1)
- Anyone up? (11:20 PM 1)
For a hot second, Yuu thought no one would thankfully respond, but alas, that ping made his heart stop, and the message made his body tensed up.
Vil S.: What in the seven are YOU doing up at 11PM!? (11:21 PM 1)
- What are YOU doin up at 11PM?! (11:21 PM 1)
The three dots were far more threatening than they should have been, and Rook with Epel sending gravestones emoji did not help one bit. Yuu saw only one way out.
Without a second thought, Yuu left the group chat. There was no need to try to ask the group for the house warden only; Yuu wasted no time in leaving his phone on the shore with his blazer, putting his focus on helping Grim push the boat into the calm waters before jumping in.
"We are indebted to you they said. We'll support you when needed, they said," Yuu grumbled, rowing in sync with Grim, who stood on shaking paws before him. "Bullshit!" He threw his hands up in frustration - unaware his sharp movement made Grim wobble a bit before he glared at him.
With just the two of them, they started paddling across the lake nestled behind the lounge, the cursed box safely placed on the seat between them.
.
The oars fell with a heavy thud on the side of the boat, thankfully secured by the iron rod. His attention was more on the wildlife startled by his outburst. Frogs jumped into the water, and wings flapping filled the air, drawing Yuu and Grim to turn in the direction.
Familiar pink and blue flamingos were taking off and landing further away from the rowdy noise.
"Aren't those..." Grim began, pointing at the grooming flamingos in the distance. "Aren't those the ones Riddle is lookin' for?"
Yuu's eyes widened; knowing the implications of finding the lost Heartslabyul pigeons, he whirled his head towards Grim. "We didn't see anything, got it?"
Grim nodded vigorously, grabbing their individual oars they resumed rowing towards the lagoon that was getting closer much faster than before.
Once the flamingos were covered by the lake flora, they started to slow down, muscles starting to strain from the unplanned evening exercise.
"What do ya think is in it?" Grim asked, nodding at the box. His paddling may have slowed down, but by the strained expression, he refused to stop trying to help.
Unable to help it, Yuu gave his friend a small smile, knowing if he were to voice his appreciation, Grim would grumble and stop altogether, 'Stupid tsundere.' He thought, shrugging at his friend's question.
"Don't. know." Yuu grunted out each word, having to put more strength into his paddling, "Documents, money, dismembered body-"
"What?"
"What?" Yuu repeated, meeting Grim's wide-eyed stare. They both paused, silently eyeing each other for two different reasons.
Grim looked him up and down, his eyes settling on Yuu's gaze, narrowing suspiciously into slits. "You had a tea party with that old geezer," he growled, showing his small pointy teeth.
If this was past Yuu, he would have backed away and maybe fallen into the deadly yet enchanting water, but the present Yuu knew the reason behind Grim's irritation.
So, to spare some of his friend's feelings, Yuu discreetly turned his gaze to the side, mumbling, Maybe...
That, however, had the opposite effect. "And what did I say about that?!" Grim cried out, throwing his little paws up into the air with the oars dropping by his side.
Yuu hung his head, sighing at the familiar dance. "Not to go?" He replied in an even voice.
"And what did you do?" Grim asked back with an annoyed voice.
Prompting Yuu to look up, noting how his friend was now standing in the middle seat, closer to him. "Hey, now!" He shot back with furrowed brows, "I'm not going to limit myself just cause you're jealous!"
Grim gasped theatrically, a paw over his heart with wide blues gazing at him in horror before they narrowed in anger. "Am not!" His screech sent the remaining wildlife scattering with the sound of splashing and ruffling feathers.
Ignoring the commotion, Yuu playfully smirked, leaning on his palm, gazing mockingly at Grim's priceless reaction. "Oh, you so are." He moved his head left and right, leaning close with a sharp smile.
Their expressions mirrored each other, both showing their own set of teeth in a laughable display of dominance. However, it was just a matter of time before Grim would- Heh.
Yuu watched fondly as Grim averted his large eyes, huffing and crossing his paws. "I thought we were a team!" Grim said, bordering on whining, "A duo!"
He won't lie; his heart almost melted when Grim turned, his blues shining with feigned hurt that still made his eyes glitter. 'Stupid cat charm.' Yuu thought, biting his bottom lip to resist falling for Grim's antics as he continued dramatically,
"Where I go, you go, and where you go, you take me with you!"
Alright, the charm was broken, freeing Yuu to groan into his hands, his whining muffled. "But Lilia's teacakes are soo tempting~"
Something shifted in the air, making Yuu raise his head, only to meet Grim's disgusted expression as he tried leaning as far away as possible.
"We can't be that poor..." Grim muttered, making Yuu wince at his friend, offering him a wobbly smile.
"It's not so bad..." He said, trying to ignore the judgmental look he was getting, adding almost desperately, "It's just...he has a bitter taste.
Yuu kept up his awkward smile, partly focusing on the lulling rocking of their boat before Grim's sour expression caught his attention. "You're disgusting."
Blowing strands of hair from his eyes, Yuu was quick to retort back. "And you're just salty."
In a blink of an eye Grim was nose-to-nose with him, growling, Am not.
Yuu pressed back, eyes blazing. " You. Are." He emphasised. " It annoys you that Lilia doesn't invite you because you're hairy!"
The response was immediate as Grim recoiled back with an offended gasp. "How dare you! It's not my fault that geezer's allergic to my greatness!"
Feeling a surge of fondness, Yuu was unable to help but reach forward to boop Grim's nose, which scrunched up in response. "More like your-!"
Yuu felt his eyes widen together with Grim's, neither expecting the music that suddenly started filling the air. Both he and Grim turned cautiously to the side, trying to pinpoint how music could be playing in a middle of a fucking lake.
With their cheeks pressed together, they instinctually reached to embrace the other, watching in reality shuttering disbelief as five frogs appeared at the edge of their boat, jerking back when the frogs began singing along to the melody.
You and Grim exchanged a glance, but before they could voice the question of their sanity or check the lake's toxicity level, something started pushing their boat towards the lagoon hidden within the willow trees.
Shocked by the unfolding events, neither of them had the time to process as two seagulls pulled back the long branches, letting them into the lagoon - too entrance to notice the subtle harsh nudge to their boat.
They could only gape more at the number of animals joining in, with the music intensifying and the boat getting gently turned in the water.
The singing grew louder with the music while fireflies started to illuminate the space inside, making the water seem like a starry night outside.
"Sha-la-la-la, let the music play, do what the music says. You gotta kiss the- gwak! "
The sharp noise of something shooting from the water cut through the un-natural concert, snatching one of the seagulls mid-flight. The bird let out a distress cry before being dragged into the depths, all in the span of a second.
Frozen in shock, silence fell over the lagoon, everyone staring at the spot where the seagull had disappeared. Yuu barely had time to blink before the chaos erupted.
Water splashed, feathers ruffled, and leaves rustled. Yuu and Grim stood rigid as the previous silence returned, thick with tension.
Without hesitation, they embraced each other, holding on tightly. When no sound entered their space beside their breathing, Yuu thought in passing how the lagoon would seem enchanting if they hadn't just witnessed a murder.
He restrained himself from glancing at the spot, which Yuu could only assume would be a red mixed with rich blue by now. Instead, Yuu willed his wide eyes to move around, searching for any sign of danger as their boat slowly rocked in place.
"We are not getting paid enough for this!" Grim cried out, his twitching whiskers tickling Yuu's cheek as the cat spoke, his words echoing in the quiet space.
Tightening his hold on Grim, Yuu cried out next. "I can't go down for a shitty box!"
As a response, both of them stilled when they felt something heavy bump into their boat, rocking it harder. Yuu swiftly covered Grim's mouth as the cat prepared to screech in fear, hoping to avoid drawing attention from whatever lurked beneath the surface any further.
With bated breaths, Yuu bit his bottom lip as Grim's claws dug into his skin. 'I just clipped them!' Was his last train of thought before his mind went blank.
Yuu's heartbeat thundered in his ears, the rapid rhythm a stark contrast to the ominous silence that filled the lagoon. The boat hadd ceased its unsettling rotations, coming to an eerie stop.
His breath, shallow and rapid, stirred Grim's fur, the soft rumble of the feline's growls offering the only semblance of comfort.
Grim unconsciously leaned further into his chest, large blues sharpening into slits with his fur rising in alert as his forked-tail swished back and forth.
Splash. Two sets of eyes snapped to the rippling water, both braced for what was to come when-
"Heya!"
Yuu screamed, a high-pitched, girlish sound that echoed through the still air. The familiar boyish voice behind him and the cold, clammy hand on his shoulder sent a jolt of terror though his body.
In his panic, Yuu jerked away, inadvertently tossing Grim into the air right as he was yanked back into a slimy, wet chest, his shirt absorbing the icy droplets that clung to the perpetrator's skin.
"Grim!" Yuu shouted, his voice thick with horror as he watched his yowling friend tumble through the air.
For a fleeting moment, he twistedly hoped that a hungry seagull would snatch Grim, mistaking the cat for a sardine. Anything was better than what- who was lurking in the lake's depths.
But such hope was snapped the instant Grim hit the water with a resounding splash, plunging the lagoon back into an uneasy silence.
Yuu's mind raced as he stared at the spot where Grim had vanished. He was too distracted to notice the two webbed cyan hands creeping over his chest - the now see-through shirt thoroughly drenched.
Only when he wanted to instinctually move towards the edge of the boat to check the surface did Yuu quickly realise he couldn't move a muscle.
The grip was firm yet deceptively gentle, with cold fingers pressing against his skin, sending a chill down his spine as they began to squeeze just so. The sharp nails dug in just enough to threaten without breaking the skin.
Yuu tensed when hot breath tickled his ear, sharp teeth grazing his earlobe, making him shudder involuntarily as blood flowed to his ears - no doubt taunting the predator with the promise of live prey.
His breath hitched as the grip on his chest tightened, a possessive hold that made it hard to breathe as he spoke in a low voice, making his heartbeat quickened.
"Shrimpy~"
The nickname was unmistakable, uttered with a boyish tone laced with a dangerous edge. There was no questioning which Leech twin had ensnared him.
"F-Floyd." Yuu stammered, his voice trembling as he forced out the name, a shaky smile plastered on his face.
His pulse pounded underneath his skin as Floyd's grip tightened, pulling him closer against the merfolk's cold, smooth chest. The wet fabric of his button-up clung to his skin uncomfortably, but he knew better than to squirm or complain by now.
Any sign of resistance would only aggravate the eel that had meticulously twisted around its prey. Not yet intending to harm only to play.
Floyd's chest vibrated against Yuu's back, a low rumble that sent a shiver down his spine. "You should know by now ya can't just come here uninvited," Floyd murmured, his voice carrying a subtle threat that made Yuu's breath hitch.
He opened his mouth, fully indenting to explain their nightly visit, but the words on the tip of his tongue were swallowed down as Floyd's nose brushed against the side of his neck.
Familiar tingly of electricity travelled from his neck down to his fingertips. The merfolk's breath was hot against his skin, and Yuu had to fight the urge not to flinch away. Any movement, any sign of weakness, would only provoke Floyd further.
Instead, he tried putting the focus on more pressing matters as the merfolk started to move Yuu backwards little by little, where he had to dig his hands into the wood underneath him to prevent Floyd from pulling him into the cold waters.
"Could you- I don't know, could you maybe go down and...you know," Yuu's voice faltered as Floyd paused to study him, his heterochromatic eyes unredable with his right faintly glowing within the dimmed lagoon.
Yuu forced a nervous chuckle, his eyes darting around as he tried to avoid Floyd's gaze. "Go down and get him?" Yuu suggested weakly, quickly adding, for a price of course! with a strained smile when he saw Floyd's unchanged expression, webbed ears twitching in clear irritation with his hold tightening just so.
Their eyes locked in a silent exchange, an unspoken conversation that sent a shiver down Yuu's spine. He watched, heart pounding, as Floyd's hands slowly slid down his arms to the edge of the boat.
The eel merfolk used it to lift himself up until he was looming over him. Sharp fins flaring in a clear challenge with dual eyes locked with his flittering gaze.
Droplets of water landed on Yuu's face, cold and startling, but instead of listening to the alarms in his head to look away and accept defeat, he squared his shoulders, his gaze hardening with determination.
Floyd leaned closer, a soft growl escaping his throat, revealing a razor-sharp canine poking from his lips. A gesture meant to threaten, to send fear through the body, freezing it in place. And yet...
Yuu knew all too well that if Floyd wanted to, he could easily flip the boat and trap him in the dark, cold depths of his domain, where he was rendered useless more than he already was on land.
But Yuu had spent enough time with the moody twin to understand his twisted sense of 'fun'. He didn't flinch as he watched the golden eye seemingly gleam even more. He didn't let his heart's frantic rhythm distract him when Floyd's longer strand of hair tickled his cheek.
He held his ground, calmly staring into Floyd's golden eye, not paying much attention to how the eel's body slid into the boat, inch by inch.
In that tense moment, Yuu could only prey that Grim's lazy brain had paid some attention during Mr Vargas's lessons on holding one's breath underwater.
Either that, or Yuu would have to find a way to win in Floyd's game without losing a limb, or-
A sharp splash of water and a loud gasp shattered whatever bubble Yuu was willingly drowning in. Both he and Floyd snapped their attention forward just as his vision was suddenly obscured by a ball of grey fur.
Grim, shaking more from fear than cold, clung to Yuu's face, his little heart pounding against his forehead. Yuu groaned, prying the terrified creature off his face, all while ignoring the irritated tut behind him.
He was about to ask Grim whether they would have to sneak into the collages infirmary again when his attention was stolen by the second twin, who Yuu notated was already half way in their boat.
Jade's smile feigned charm, which was nothing if not sadistic, with heterochromatic eyes glinting with amusement as he moved closer, using the middle plank which Yuu was sitting on to prop himself up.
Grim, still shivering, clung to Yuu's now drenched shirt, the fabric clinging to his ski nearly see-through, with the realisation settling in that they were now trapped between the two merfolk.
Yuu could do nothing but wait for either of them to speak as he was the one intruding on their territory with his heart hammering against his chest. 'If only the ghosts in Ramshackle were this territorial.' Yuu thought, desperately trying to keep his wits about him.
Jade tilted his head to the left, his eyes scanning them as they were once more clutching the other, the left eye glowing eerily, deepening the melted gold.
"Well, if it isn't the little Prefect..." Jade's voice was smooth, almost calming to the situation, served as a further threat by the way his sharp teeth peeked through his empty smile. "May I inquire as to your reason for being here?"
Yuu was more than aware of the strict policy every dorm oblige to. Every having their own set of rules and habits with only one being shared between them. The Entry policy.
Unless a member of said dorm or invited by the housewarden personally a student could only get in if send by the principle. Which Yuu was, naively thinking would be taken care of by said chicken!
Feeling his brows furrow, Yuu was quickly reminded of his current predicament when he felt Floyd move behind him, a large hand reaching over to grab Grim, who immediately started squirming and protesting about, how dare you treat the great Grim like a rat!
Yuu's mind provided an image of a trashing Grim facing a grumpy-looking Floyd who dangled him in the air like a wet socks.
He bit his tongue, knowing all too well what would follow if he were to turn around in a fruitless attempt to help. Instead, Yuu stayed still, his eyes never trailing away from Jade's inquisitive ones.
Taking a deep breath, Yuu nodded towards the box that was now underneath Jade. "Sir Crowley tasked me- us. Tasked us with delivering this to Azul," he explained, trying to stay calm despite the snickers and hisses behind him and the feeling of another body sliding closer to his right
The way Jade looked down and Floyd stopped tormenting Grim to peer over his shoulder in almost puppy-like curiosity helped Yuu ease up some of his nerves. Yet it never fully lost its guard, which heightened once more when the silence that followed was heavy.
Even Grim seemed to sense the unease in the air when he stopped trashing in Floyd's hold. Not being able to stay silent no more, Yuu quickly added in a dire attempt to smooth over the tension.
Not noticing how both eels' spins flared, eyes narrowed, and their webbed ears flattened or ruffled, he started spouting elaboration.
"I would have left it at the lounge, but he said Azul asked for it to be delivered immediately! I thought he sent notice to you guys before I-"
But before he could finish, the boat suddenly flipped over. The realisation of what had happened came too late, and Yuu found himself plunged into the cold water with a mouthful of it before he could have a chance to react accordingly.
With blurry vision and pounding hear, Yuu's other senses heightened almost immediately where he jerked away from the feeling of the familiar smooth muscles gliding over his back.
The sensation had prompted Yuu to shook off the shock and quiclky swam upwards, partly noting the smooth muscle of one of the twins tails ssliding under his feet.
Being in no position to think whether it was meant to help or strain him more, his sole focus was on the faster approaching surface.
Gasping for air as he broke the surface, Yuu pushed his wet hair out of his eyes, only to feel a cold present settle behind him with tail coiled around his feet, immobilising him and forcing him to sit on the powerful muscle.
"Our apologies, we didn't account for the heaviness of this form. I hope you can forgive us, Mr Prefect." Jade's smooth voice sounded behind him, his hands easily sliding over Yuu's arms, settling under his palms with a deceptive gentleness.
Blaming the cold water for his tremble, Yuu fight to ignore the soft electric feeling under his palm, opting to glance over his shoulder and narrowing his eyes at Jade's insincere smile.
"Oh, I'm sure you both feel so guilty," Yuu glowered, voice dripping with sarcasm. "Why did you push it over?"
Jade blinked at him 'innocently', but before Yuu could press for an answer, the sound of cackle behind him followed by something slimy brushing against his exposed arm, drew his attention to Floyd, who was now lazily circling them in the water, with shivering Grim on his chest as the twin leisurely yet roughly patted him.
Yuu winced in sympathy at the ministration, his eyes widening when Floyd's hand emerged from the water, the silver box in his hand as the twin rattled it with a mischievous grin.
"Lookie, Jade!" Floyd called out to his brother, who in turn smiled knowingly at his twin. "It's that."
Floyd stopped before them, ignoring how Grim cringed in his hold with his body partly submerged under the water. 'At least I won't have to bathe your stinky arse.' Yuu thought, refocusing on the question he and Grim wondered about before.
"What's in that box?" Yuu asked, nodding at the silver box in Floyd's possession. Yet, instead of answering, the twins exchanged a glance before focusing all their attention on him.
Yuu instinctively retreaded a bit, unintentionally pressing closer to Jade, who tightened his tail around Yuu's legs in response.
A gesture that could be either threatening or comforting settled at the back of his mind when he fought the shiver induced by Jade's low voice near his reddening ear.
"If you're so curious..." He began smoothly as Floyd swam closer with Grim tightly pressed against his chest, rendering the creature speechless as Floyd mimicked his twin's looming presence.
"Why not come down with us?" Floyd finished with a boyish voice. Both brothers peered down at Yuu who felt the tip of Floyd's tail effortlessly take off his shoes with both the twins working down the buttons of his blouse to-
"N-No, we good! But thanks for the offer, truly!" Yuu stammered, his smaller human hands pushing theirs away, no doubt letting him to; otherwise, Yuu was hundred percent sure he and Grim would already be dragged into the water half way on their way to the Octavinelle dorm.
The twins exchanged another look, Jade had his usual calm expression while Floyd was clearly dissatisfied with his rejection of their proposal.
What followed next was a bunch of chatter sounds where mostly Floyd was showing his annoyance through soft glowers with his sharp spine fin occasionally flexing.
But whatever they were discussing in their own language that Yuu couldn't even phantom to decipher, it was clearly affecting Jade as well as his tail tightened more than once around his legs where Yuu started to stop feeling his feet.
Thankfully, the brothers cleared their disagreement pretty fast, with Jade turning to him with a tight smile and Floyd huffing, letting go of Grim as he crossed his arms with the box in his left hand, enabling Grim to quickly try paddling to Yuu only to be caught by the ever smiling Jade.
"Very well then," Jade said, his golden eye glowing briefly as he began to unwarp his long tail from around Yuu's legs. Thinking he was being let go, he got ready to start kicking his stocking feet that would otherwise make him grimace if all his clothes were not wet as well.
You could only internally groan at the prospect of laundry once he and Grim returned to their dorm, which sounded heavenly right now.
But instead of the freedom he hoped he was granted, Yuu found himself being pulled into a suffocating embrace. Floyd grinned in satisfaction with one glance at Jade telling him this was planned.
With a stretched smile, Jade continued. "It wouldn't do you good to swim all the way to shore. Please, let us escort you Mr Prefect." A command that was poorly disguised as a question.
'It wouldn't do me good to swim with you two either!' He wanted to say out loud, but instead, he let his eyes fall on something behind the ever-patient Jade.
Yuu paid no mind to Floyd's hands slipping around him, the eel nuzzling into his neck once more, sending waves of soft electricity down his arms and leaving iron taste in his mouth.
Glancing between the flipped boat and Jade with large, hopeful eyes, Yuu pointed at it with a wobbly smile. "Eh..You could just turn it around-!"
He should have expected it Jade's respond, truly, it was his fault.
Before Yuu could finish his suggestion, Jade, without turning around, brought his powerful tail down, smashing the boat into pieces with a single blow. THe sharp sound echoed in the quiet lagoon, the silence only broken by Jade's silver voice.
"You were saying?" He asked 'innocently' with a tilted head.
Making a quick eye contact with Grim who froze in Jade's hold, thankfully unharmed from the flying pieces of wood. Yuu knew it was either yes and a gentle ride home with a clingy leech or no and a forced ride back to shore with water entering his nose-
"I was saying that I'd be grateful for your assistance." Yuu replied with a strained smile, which Jade returned with a much more charming one while Floyd let out a short huff.
As if all the patience Floyd had to stay silent through their back and forth was finally all used up, the merfolk submerged underwater before Yuu had the chance to see his expression.
His tail slid under Yuu's legs before disappearing entirely. Unsure of what Floyd was planning, Yuu looked to Jade for answers, but the other twin only smiled back, moving forward and smoothly sliding into the water as he let Grim walk over his shoulder onto his back, continuing onwards.
Yuu didn't know what to say or do as he watched the Leech brother getting farther away, sharing a confused look with Grim Yuu sighed. Seeing no other reason for Floyd's disappearance other than boredom, he was not surprised by the eel's whimsical nature.
With no other choice left, Yuu started to follow Jade who was already a good distance away from him, his drenched clothes not making the swimming any easier.
"Stupid chicken with his stupid tasks and his stingy-!" Grumbling under his breath without choking on the water, he was suddenly pushed upwards by a strong and refine muscle which moved him faster forward.
With legs on both sides of what was moving under him, Yuu blinked away his short-lived surprise. It didn't take a genius to understand that he was sitting on Floyd's waist who flashed him a crooked grin, with hands behind his head, as his powerful tail pushed them forward.
"Were ya thinkin' of swimming away from me, Shrimpy?" Floyd teased, his voice playful, clearly waiting for his response.
Yuu let out a tired sigh, his expression softening into a reluctant smile. "How could I when you would clearly catch me no matter what." Yuu replied, hand curiously spreading on Floyd's smooth, cyan-white skin, which shimmered under the moon's light.
The merfolk rumbled in response, the vibration travelling through Yuu's fingertips as Floyd's annoyed tut finally drew his attention back to his face. Yuu only saw Floyd's furrowed brows just as webbed hands grasped his and pulled him closer.
Sprawled over Floyd, his nose barely brushing against Yuu's forehead. "Ya wouldn't make the chase boring though, right Shrimpy?" Floyd asked in a low voice, his other hand brushing Yuu's hair behind his ear, claws lightly grazing his sensitive skin, sending shivers down Yuu's spine. "I know you wouldn't, right?"
Yuu swallowed nervously, his wide eyes meeting Floyd's duals. The golden eye seemed to glow brighter under the open starry night. Knowing one wrong move or word could trigger a different mood with a different response where Yuu would either end up safely on the shore or drowned in the peaceful lake.
He couldn't help the relieved sighed when Jade's stern voice interrupted the charged air between them. "Floyd."
Floyd's gaze dropped, lazily meeting his twin's disapproving stare. "I thought you wanted him to enjoy the ride back in peace." Jade reminded him.
Yuu and Grim exchanged wary glanced, their eyes darting between the two Leech brothers, settling on Floyd's sharp grin which grew as he locked eyes with Jade.
Without another word, Floyd lowered his head on the water's surface, his teal hair fanning out as he swam just a little faster, ahead of his brother.
"Ya never asked for my definition of peace, now did ya." Floyd quipped cheekily. Jade easily let his twin have the last word, recognising that his brother's appetite for chaos was, for the moment, satiated.
Knowing what the other Leech brother did, Yuu waved his hand to gain Jade's attention, which the more composed twin immediately gave.
A brief but genuine smile crossed his lips as Yuu mouthed a silent, thank you. Jade nod in respond, redirecting his focus to the path ahead.
Determined to maintain the fragile peace, Yuu subtly motioned for Grim to stay quiet. The little feline rolled his eyes with a huff as he crossed his paws, but wordlessly complied. Not daring to challenge the Leech twins' unpredictable nature.
Satisfied, Yuu turned his attention forward, observing Floyd's unexpectedly peaceful expression. Here he was, sitting on a merfolk, a being capable of tearing him to pieces, snapping his bones as if made of porcelain.
Yet instead, Floyd had chosen to help with his brother. To protect, in their own twisted way.
'Even if you may be seen as morally grey, selfish, animalistic and twisted. I...' Yuu thought, his fingers absently tracing the smooth skin, barely feeling the hidden scales. 'I can't help but admire the authenticity of your actions.'
Be it the Leech twins, Azul or other students he met in NRC Yuu never felt he was being lied to. Tested or even secretly deceived. Hell! The trio never hid their scheming nature when they tried luring students into making deals.
'This place truly lives up to its name.' Heh. A bitter smile tugged at Yuu's lips when, instead of the expected fear, disgust or resentment, all he could feel was...peace.
Throughout their serene ride, Yuu couldn't help but return to the same old thought. Was this world changing him, or was he letting it change him?
How long until he would fully forget about returning back to his home, to his family and life? How long until he would stop fighting the pull and let himself drown in the murky waters.
Yuu felt his eyes dim with each question, hands fisting before he willed them to relax. He truly needed sleep.
.
The journey back to shore was much quicker with the twins' assistance than when he and Grim rowed on their own.
The moment they reached the dark-sandy beach encircling the lake, both Floyd and Jade swam as close as possible allowed them to, their massive forms gliding effortlessly though the water.
As soon as they hit the shallows, the brothers settled on the sand, allowing Yuu and Grim to slide down.
Wasting no time in staying longer than needed, Grim leapt from Jade's back, muttering a quick, Thanks! Just as Yuu drilled into him, scurrying to the safety of the shore, far from the water's edge.
Yet when it was his turn, he didn't get far. Choking on his thanks, Yuu stumbled forward with a jolt of fear travelling through him when a webbed hand clasped around his ankle, causing him to crash to the sand.
Heart pounding, Yuu instinctively braced himself for the fall, intending to turn and yell at Floyd. But before he could, the merfolk was already flipping him over with ease, his golden eye glinting with playful malice.
"Floyd, what the hell-" Yuu's words died in his throat as he saw the sharp, glinting teeth inching closer to his foot. His breath quickened, and a primal fear gripped him. He squeezed his eyes shut, bracing for the painful feeling of teeth tearing into flesh.
But instead of pain, he felt a strange, tickling sensation. Confused, Yuu slowly opened his eyes to find Floyd nibbling on his ankle, his sharp teeth grazing the skin without breaking it.
A familiar heavy feeling of guilt settled on his heart as he watched Floyd finish his ministration that was probably meant as a goodbye for him, tail softly thumbing behind the brother as he gave him a large grin, oblivious to what Yuu thought he would do.
'And right after I thought you shouldn't be seen as mindless monsters.' Guess old habits do die hard, Yuu thought solemnly. He is still not used to some of the 'cultural' differences between his world and theirs it seemed.
"Let's play like this again soon, alright?" Floyd's question interrupted Yuu's self-demeaning thoughts, his voice unusually soft, but with an undeniable edge to it.
His tail flicked water playfully onto the shore with Jade next to his twin, silently regarding Yuu with an unsettling intensity, his duals gleaming with an eagerness that could be seen as a predatory curiosity from a different angle.
"Please take care and get home safe, Mr Prefect." Jade said, his expression already washed down by his empty smile as he respectfully bowed his head while his twin nodded vigorously, his expression equally unreadable.
"Hai, hai! The land is far more dangerous than water anyways." Floyd followed, his usual playful demeanor fading into something more serious. "If ya get into trouble, don't hesitate to jump here."
"I'm sure we could make an...expectation for you if you're in dire danger." Jade added, slowly moving closer. Yuu's eyes shifted between the two twins, whichever spoke, noting that both were now looming over him on each side.
Yuu took into account their uncaring nature, reasoning no matter how long they lived ashore, they wouldn't care for something obvious like personal space.
"Azul might even allow you to stay in Octavinelle for a while too..." Floyd said next, bending so his duals with his gleaming gold would easily lock with Yuu's hesitant gaze that slowly melted into a more interested look.
"Indeed..."Jade followed next, mirroring his twin's posture as well as expression, "For a price, of course. But don't fret, it won't be too hefty, I promise you that our little Prefect."
Yuu felt the weight of their gazes, the two pools of melted gold gleamed with a mix of amusement and something more possessive.
He barely registred the feeling of their webbed hands - one gentle, the other more forceful - clasping his own, nor did he hear Grim's muffled panicked cries.
All Yuu could focus on was the two glowing golds and the subtle pressure of being pulled back towards the water when an arrow suddenly whizzed through the air, landing inched from Yuu's groin, easily pushing the two eels from him.
The shared shock between them broke whatever chain was encircling Yuu's neck, making all three turn their heads sharply in the direction the arrow that nearly castrated him had come from.
Yuu's breath hitched, the low sound of growls ignored as his brain settled on far greater danger than those two merfolks' that retreated further into the waters.
There in the distance, a familiar figure marched towards them with a scowling expression and scary speed, considering the heels that seemed sharper than usual.
The peaceful night was shattered. Without a second thought, Yuu scrambled to his feet, the adrenaline surging through his veins as his eyes locked with blazing amethysts; Grim's loud voice going ignored as he shouted, Rook!?
Yuu couldn't decipher whether it was from excitement or fear as his friend pointed up at the trees with heavy foliage, his attention solely on,
"V-Vil! What are you doing here at this fine hour?" Yuu stammered, his voice trembling slightly as the blond bore down on him. Vil seemed like a man on a mission, his dress robe adorned by fur fluttering behind him like a royal robe.
Seeing movement in his peripheral vision, Yuu quickly glanced to the side, seeing the two twins slowly sliding away from him before his focus was turned back due to the familiar scent of caramel apple engulfing his senses.
"Fine? Fine, you say," Vil's voice was low, dangerously calm, with an edge that sent chills down Yuu's spine that was not from the wind brushing against his drenched state.
Suddenly, the taller teen grabbed Yuu by the collar, yanking him closer, their faces mere inches apart. "Do you have any idea what time it is?" Vil demanded, his amethysts burning with a fury that Yuu felt only he was privileged to see from the 'perfect' male standing before him.
Yuu forced an awkward smile at his senior, raising his hands in surrender. Out of the corner of his eye, Yuu caught sight of Epel, panting heavily as he tried to catch his breath.
The lavender-haired boy who was bent over still found the strength to furiously shake his head with a paled expression, motioning with his thumb a cutting gesture over his neck.
But Yuu, despite knowing better, couldn't stop himself from speaking. "Somewhere around eleven-"
"Twelve. Thirty. AM." Vil's voice cut through the night like a blade, dripping with venom from the usually composed 'Queen' of Pomefiore.
Feeling the unusual statick in the air, Yuu willed himself to take a deep breath in, scanning Vil's flawless face that was adorned with faint lines of stress.
His heart sank at the thought that he was the cause of the blond's distress. Eyes softening, Yuu opened his mouth in an attempt to soothe the blond, but before he could say anything, Vil huffed a shaky smirk, speaking of Yuu's inevitable doom.
Too slow to react, Vil turned on his heel, tugging Yuu forward with surpsiing force. Tumbling over his stocking feet, Yuu tried to regain his balance, but Vil didn't give him the chance.
With a firm grip on the back of Yuu's drenched shirt, Vil marched forward, dragging him along the ground like a beat-up plushy that was about to get thoroughly washed.
The pompous 'Queen' whistled a short tune as they passed Epel, who had just caught his breath only to realise he had to go through all that again.
However, before he could ask his friend why he was even out here, his head snapped to familiar yowl of Grim. Scanning his around where he heard him, Yuu didn't had much time to pin point where he was as Vil's voice dragged his attention back to him.
"Going on some evening endeavour this late at night, leaving the chat and then daring not to answer any of the calls. I hope you know I expect you to sit obediently once we get back to Pomefiore and not make a peep while I try to save this disaster."
Vil looked over his shoulder, peering down at Yuu with amethysts that gleamed with the promise of punishment if defiance were to be noticed.
Feeling wronged for nothing, Yuu stupidly tried to explain his and Grim situation before Vil's tense voice easily cut through his voice. "Do you understand?"
Wide eyes searched the hardened violet gems before he let out a long sigh. Slumping his shoulders, Yuu replied with a short, aye, sir.
Clearly satisfied with his respond, Vil humped as he continued listing all that they would have to go through to ensure neither of them would get dark circles or dry skin once they woke up.
Hearing the torture they would have to go through, his eyes swiftly locked with Epel's wide ones, I expect full compensation the boy's gaze said which made Yuu promptly snap his attention at his only salvation.
Yet when his fearful eyes met two pairs of duals shining with sadistic mischiefs in the moonlit night, he found no solace - only the eerie, synchronised wave of the two merfolk, making Yuu rethink his previous thought before all this.
'I take it all back. All of you are sadistic bastards!'

“She’s probably the one that played that stupid prank on us.”
That was the sentance written on your wrist for about 16 years. You have no idea what it means since you weren’t the type to prank people since you thought those kinds of things were stupid and childish. You walk through the streets of Savannah, staring down at your phone. You were in Savannah for a school trip, another school coming along with you for 2 days. While you were lost in thought you feel someone crashing into you. Groaning, you put a hand on your head since they kind of hit you in the head pretty bad. “Oh my gosh! I’m so sorry!” A girl with short black hair and tattoos says to you, quickly getting up and looks you up and down; “Maybe as a sorry I could give you a tour of the Sorrel Weed house?” She says and eagerly waits for your answer; “A group cancelled on me so I have some free tickets left?” You look down at your phone, seeing that you still have about an hour left before having to go back to meet up with your class. “I um, sure? I have time.” She smiles and hands you one ticket and drags you to what looks like a very, very old house. She tells you to look around for a bit and that she will be back with some more people in a few minutes and to not touch anything.
A few minutes pass and she comes back with a group you noticed when you were walking to your room at the motel. You notice a boy with dark red hair and a girl, who is most likely his twin look at you. The girl smiled at you so you did so as well to not seem rude, but the boy just.. glared?? You shrugged it off and admired the old architecture of the house. It was a cozy but creepy looking house, it had some hidden details you wondered about. You liked imagining about what kind of memories the people that lived here had. Maybe they were a noble family that were secretely some sort of criminals? Or maybe it was a big family that struggled to keep themselves on their feet? You follow the others as the black haired girl, whos name you couldn’t remember lead you into an eerie looking room. You get chills down your spine and put on your hoodie, a really evident drop in temperature being in the room.
A phone ringing echoed through the room, the black haired girl excusing herself and left the room in a hurry. You eye the group who were whispering something to each other, the boy from earlier still eyeing you as you were some sort of pray. You hear the ginger girl talk about some sort of sensitivity to sound, the blonde boy and the grumpy one were fascinated by it. You walk past them and turn towards them, eyeing them from behind. You notice a strange figure behind the ginger girl, getting creeped out you gasp, alerting the others as well. “Ashlyn.. Behind you.” A boy with glasses says and you shiver, your whole body tensing up.
The girl flinched and falls to the ground, the mysterious figure disappearing in a heart beat. “What was that thing?” “A ghost maybe?” The blonde boy says as if this whole encounter was the most hilarious thing ever. The brunette boy scoffed, crossing his arms over his chest. “Yeah as if, ghosts aren’t real.” He looks towards you and his brows furrow. He steps closer to you and pushes you towards the group. You stumble back, tripping on your feet but catch yourself before you could fall on your ass. “Rude much..” You mumble but immediately shut up when you see his pissed face.
“She’s probably the one that played that stupid prank on us.”
Your face goes pale, a tingly feeling welling up in your arm. He was your soulmate. You don’t say anything and just push past them. leaving the creepy house and hurry back to meet with your class. You were quiet the whole time at your hotel room, your roommates doing their own thing as you just layed there on your bed. It was about 11:43pm and you couldn’t get that boy off your mind. The other school, which they were from was just on the floor below yours. You wonder what your first words to him will be. You decide to go and speak to the ginger haired girl, thinking that she looked pretty nice you went downstairs and went to what you think was their room, at least that’s where you saw them enter. You knock on the door and pray for them to not be asleep when you hear the door open, and there she was. “Hey um, I was the one that was at that weird house with you guys.. I was wondering if we could um.. be friends?” You ask and mentally face palm at your shyness. She looks you up and down and yells some girls name. The girl, AKA the grumpy boys twin appears behind her and speaks up; “Hey! I remember you! You were with us at that house. Come in!” She says with a smile and you nod, walking in. “We were about to go to sleep but we could have a sleepover.” She says and you nod, introducing yourself; “Oh and by the way, I’m Y/N.” You say and they introduce themselves as Taylor and Ashlyn. You sit down on the floor and when you go and speak, your whole world goes black.

The old Oscorp laboratory that sits on the outskirts of New York wasn't exactly the place most college students expected to spend their Friday night. Even y/n, who usually spent her time alone or developing old photos in her university's old darkroom instead of hanging out with nonexistent friends, didn't make a habit of visiting dilapidated buildings alone with only a camera and a flashlight.
The lab was in the middle of the forest, surrounded by a rusting chain link fence—a ‘CAUTION! ELECTRIC FENCE!’ The sign was on the ground beside said fence, having long since fallen off. Normally this would have made y/n turn around and try to find a less dangerous place to take pictures for her photography class, but it just so happened that a large, y/n sized hole had at somepoint been cut into the fence, leaving the perfect entrance for curious (and borderline suicidal) university students to slip through with relative ease.
The laboratories walls were covered in vines, the plants wrapping themselves around anything their tendrils came into contact with. The door to the lab was gone, leaving just a gaping hole as an entrance, and y/n entered easily, snapping a few pictures of the outside as she did. The inside was, much like the outside, a complete mess. The walls, once a pristine and clinical white, now a dirty, greenish-gray, with splatters of what y/n could only hope was just some random chemical and not blood. Blue double doors lined the hall, a small rectangular window on each one. After opening a few doors and taking some photos of the old science equipment, she finally found herself standing in front of the last door at the end of the hallway. Through the small windows she could see it was a stairwell, and pushed the door open, entering the well and taking some pictures of the eerie stairs leading into the complete darkness of the second floor.
Pointing her flashlight up the stairs, she began to climb. She stopped at the second level door which was marked with a large ‘2’, and gave the handle a rough shove to push the door open. The hallway itself was much the same as on the first floor, though it was certainly worse for ware. The walls were covered in an oozing black, ink-like substance, and a couple doors were completely gone. y/n took a step back, only managing to snap one or two pictures of the bizarre scene before she felt something under her begin to shift. The floor below her made an awful cracking sound and some debris crumbled from the ceiling above her. She took a shuttered breath and was about to turn and run when the ceiling suddenly gave out, and everything went dark.
A heavy pressure was the first thing she felt. Then, an excruciating pain shot through her entire body. She tried to scream, but the ruble covering—or rather, crushing—her made any noise impossible. All but her head was trapped. Above her, she could see the hole she had fallen through just barely in the dim light and dust filled air. She coughed, and felt the pressure compress her chest. She wondered, in a hazy and distinctly concussed way, if she was going to die here. Alone, crushed by the heavy cement ceiling of an abandoned building she was never meant to be in. Tears welled in her eyes, and she let them close for a moment before she felt something drip onto her face. ‘Blood?’ she wondered. Her eyes fell on the hole she'd fallen through to see that the inky black stuff was dripping down from the floor above and landing directly on her face.
If she could move, or even feel, her arms, she would have immediately tried to wipe the strange goo off her cheek, but she was immobilized and could only watch in disgust as the black sludge dripped onto her. Then, she felt the inky stuff move. And she froze. The slime wriggled against her skin and she could only hope it wasn't some sort of poison as she felt the thing be absorbed into her skin.
Something changed at that moment. Y/n couldn’t tell what, but something did. She felt her arms twitch, and then her legs—which she was certain were completely broken—seemed to snap back together. She cried out in pain as her body's bones corrected themselves, her scraped skin gluing itself back together before she felt the same black sludge engulf her entire body.
Something was definitely wrong with her. That's the first thought that passed through y/n's mind when she felt herself standing, the rubble that was crushing her now light, and her body, which had previously been torn apart by the fall and subsequent cruising of all her bones, now felt strong, mended and somehow improved. She moved, though she felt as though it was both not her own movements and completely of her own volition. She lifted her hand and- oh. Yes, something was in fact very, very wrong with y/n. Her own hand was gone—or rather, covered by a longer and, well, sharper one. Her skin was instead a black inky mass of sorts—the inky sludge that had covered her no doubt—and her fingers were longer and clawed. She looked down at herself and was met with the same sight. An inky black mass was now replacing her once distinctly human form.
She must’ve passed out then, because when she finally came to, she was once again in the forest, laying on her back and staring up at the stars. She lifted her hand, which was shaky and scratched, but no longer broken or made of slime, so she supposed that was an improvement.
“It's about time you woke up.”
A voice said, and she sat up, looking around frantically for whatever had spoken, but found only forest. She tugged at her sleeve nervously. “Jesus, I must be losing it..” she muttered, trying to steady her rapid heart beat.
“Think again, kid,” the voice spoke again, this time accompanied by a…head? It seemed to be emerging from her back. She turned, but there was no one behind her. That was, apart from the head, now grinning. Its mouth, which was put on full display thanks to that damned smile, was large and full of sharp teeth. its eyes were white and angular, staring into her very soul.
“
“W-what…” She could feel herself break out in a cold sweat, goosebumps covering her skin. “What the fuck are you…?” She asked, because what else could she even say?
“We are Venom.” it said, and her brow furrowed.
“We?”
“You and I, kid. We are Venom. And we are hungry.”
She shook her head, forcing herself onto her feet. “For what? People!?” She stared at the head.
“You learn quickly.” it—Venom—replied, and y/n’s heart dropped to her feet.
“No. Absolutely not.” She took a step back, but Venom, of course, wasn’t exactly going anywhere. “I'm not doing any of this little shop of horrors bullshit!” She was practically screaming at this point. ‘this whole thing is crazy!’
“You owe me, kid. I saved your skin; now it's your turn.” Venom said, its grin growing impossibly larger.
“I-i never asked for your help! I didn't even know you were…alive.” She shuddered at the memory of the inky slime covering her.
“Come on, y/n. You scratch my back, I scratch yours.”
she froze, her blood running cold. “H-how do you know my name…?” She asked, and Venom made a noise that was probably supposed to be a laugh.
“Oh, I know everything about you, y/n l/n. I'm inside your head.” She flinched as venom leaned closer, its black tendrils brushing against her skin. “I know you want power. You want to be seen. I can give that to you.”
she shook her head. “No, no! You’re… you‘re not real…”
She turned and began to walk, ignoring the voice that continued to speak.
“Come on, kid. I know you want to.”
“Shut up! You don't know anything about me!” She forced herself to walk faster, stepping over logs and roots as she finally made her way out of the forest and onto a street. “This is fucking insane. I’m losing my god damn mind…” She muttered to herself, walking down the sidewalk. She didn’t recognize the part of town she was in, but that was the last thing on her mind. She must've been walking aimlessly for quite a while, because when she stopped, she realized she was in the middle of the sidewalk in an area of town where a young woman definitely wouldn't want to be alone at such an hour.
“Don't be scared kid, you have us now.”
She startles, glancing around to try and spot the head of Venom, but not seeing any sign of it. “God, don't do that shit!” She hissed, rubbing the nape of her neck as though to remove Venom from her all together.
She moved to start walking again when a noise stopped her dead in her tracks. It definitely sounded like a cry of some kind. She looked around, and wrapped her arms around herself nervously. Y/n slowly walked forward, not making it very far before she heard the noise again, and turned to stare into an alley.
She narrowed her eyes; somewhere in the darkness she can see the form of two people, one cowering on the ground and the other standing menacingly over them. She bristled. ‘A mugging?’ That was probably the best case scenario all things considered.
“We could help.” venom said, its tendrils curling around her arm. “You want to. Just give me control.”
She took a sharp breath. She could save them, but would the cost be worth it?
She didn’t get to finish thinking, because the looming figure pounced causing the person on the ground to shriek, and then something inside her snapped and she became Venom.
The fight, if you could even call it that, didn't last long. Venom wasn't lying when it said it was hungry, and the assailant was no match for its jaws. The person huddled on the ground—a woman who looked to be in her mid-twenties—had run the second the person attacking her was distracted. Good.
Y/n tried not to think about what just happened, even as venom retreated back into her and she ran from the alley, not stopping until she was standing in front of her dorm building. She unlocked the door, stepping inside and letting out a sigh of relief as she collapsed onto her creaky bed, burying her face in her pillow, and then promptly getting back up to go vomit in her toilet.
Venom was quiet for a while, and she hoped it was because it knew she needed time, but maybe it was just digesting. She didn't sleep much that night.
────────────
Spider Man landed on a roof near the alley he had heard the screams from. It was quiet now, but he knew that wasn't necessarily a good sign. He dropped into the alley, looking around for any signs of someone in danger, and froze. A puddle of blood, some black, inky looking substance, and a woman's purse were the only things in the alley. He picked up the bag and cracked it open, retrieving a wallet and then an ID. He looked around—whoever left the blood was gone, but they obviously weren't looking to rob anyone, considering the wad of cash still in the woman's purse. He was about to investigate further when he heard sirens and carefully placed the purse down; they would have an easier time returning this to its owner after all. He swung out of the alleyway, still unsure what exactly went down in the small amount of time it had taken him to get to the scene.

Morningstar family redesigns
I kinda wanted to expand on my choices for my redesigns for fun
So first, Lucifer. I really don’t have a lot of issues with his original design, I think it’s fun and fits within the Hazbin universe! I just wanted to reimagine him.
I always liked the idea of Lucifer having curly reddish hair, something about his fall turning his hair red (this design isn’t 100% biblically accurate as it is just for fun), but I toned down the red to be closer to his original blonde since I also like blonde Lucifer, and I figured he’d liked to keep his hair neat so I decided to put it up and take away the hat
I wanted to keep the ring leader theme in his outfit, but I wanted to further incorporate the snake element in his design since I think he’d be proud of his fall (hence why his suit looks burnt and torn, and he shows off his burnt arm, I figured he’d do this intentionally to remind others of his rebellion)
Lastly I changed the entire family’s main colors to purple, as biblically out of the 7 sins Pride is purple and since he’s supposed to rule pride in the show I figured he’d be more purple themed then red, pretty simple🙏
Next Lilith, I think she was the only one out of the three where I didn’t really like her original design. Not only because she didn’t have much going on, but she also looked really similar to Lucifer, to the point where they almost look blood related.
I think Viv’s choices for Lilith were a bit odd, as she had SOO much potential that just wasn’t used.
I kept her blonde hair but I gave it some tan undertones and I put it up into a semi-low slicked back pompadour inspired by some hairstyles you might see young women have in the early 1900s or late 1800s, but I gave her a little down section that fades into a dark purple and looks somewhat feathery due to one adaption of her describing her as a “screech owl”. I kept the purple theme somewhat like the original and plus she technically rules over pride as well, I would have loved to have given her a red theme if pride was red.
Based on these different adaptations of Lilith a took inspiration from each, giving her a flame-themed dress and the upper body of a beautiful women yet still somewhat demon-like, I also put some fluff at the bottom of her dress since I thought it looked kinda like smoke puffs and clouds. Her stomach is covered with gold rings that look somewhat like a snake belly, and I gave her a necklace with a style inspired by some eastern jewelry, the jewels on her necklace are each the color of one of the 7 sins which I thought would be a fun touch and a little bit of a “showing off” of her role as the queen of hell.
lastly I kept her horns since she is meant to be a succubus, but I stylized them a bit to look less like those big ram-like ones since I didn’t really like how odd they looked against her head. I also gave her long slender fingers that faded to a black naturally as in biblical lore she steals babies from mothers and I thought making her hands that she stole the children with look creepy and eerie yet still beautiful was a nice touch.
Lastly, Charlie! Again, I didn’t really have a problem with the original design. I changed her suit color and theme to prides color, put I made her hair curlier and more red/orange like her dads, and I wanted some parts of her suit to resemble his a bit hence the buttons and the back of her suit going out like her dad’s (but a bit shorter for convenience.)
I imagine her being a bit showy so I kinda decked her out in silver, I thought it’d also be a fun mirroring of how her mom is covered in gold. Her shoes are pretty similar to the original, I put a little split at the front of the shoes in the dark purple since Viv has said she has little hooves which I’m not sure is true but I thought it was a fun idea so I kinda hinted at it with that
I changed her irises (is that what they’re called?) to look more snake-like like her dad, and I gave her little horns since I thought they were cute and I wanted her to maybe show them on purpose because she wanted to blend in more with the citizens of hell so they might feel less intimidated by her presence as the princess, that’s also why I didn’t give her a crown :]
Overall this was just a fun little project I did out of curiosity and boredom, these designs aren’t made to criticize or taunt vivziepop since like I said I love her designs already

Spooktober Day 7 - "Stop breathing at my ear, Dipper--" and turning around to find nobody beside you.
The full moon hung high above the horizon as you, Soos, Dipper, and Mabel stood at the iron gates of the old Flagstone Manor, Gravity Falls’ infamous haunted house, which sat on the edge of town. Its towering structure loomed over you, casting long, ominous shadows on the ground. The stories surrounding that place had always been shrouded in mystery: disappearances, ghostly apparitions, unsettling whispers that seemed to come from nowhere.
“Guys, I’ve got a bad feeling about this place,” Soos said, his flashlight flickering in his unsteady grip.
“Oh, c’mon, Soos! What’s the worst that could happen?” Mabel chirped, flashing her signature grin as she skipped ahead, her sweater sleeves flapping like wings.
Dipper adjusted his cap, staring up at the mansion. “I’m not sure we should be doing this at night. Stan says people vanish in here. But, you know… for science.”
"Dipper," Mabel called from over her shoulder, "since when have you been afraid of ghosts?"
You were caught between Dipper’s cautious excitement and Mabel’s gleeful enthusiasm, deciding to stick close to the group. The wind howled through the broken windows. The house seemed to creak and moan in response to your arrival.
As you pushed open the massive front door, the hinges screamed in protest. The inside of the mansion was dusty, dark, and decaying. The old wooden floors groaned beneath your feet and cobwebs filled every corner.
“So, which way?” You asked, glancing down both ends of the dimly lit hallway.
Mabel chimed in, bouncing on her toes, “I say we head toward the attic. That’s where the spooky stuff always happens!”
Soos nodded, though his face looked pale. “Yeah, sure, totally. The attic. Awesome.”
All of you made your way through the labyrinthine halls of the manor. Every step you took seemed to echo as if the house was listening, waiting for something. Faint whispers could be heard, but you couldn’t tell if it was just the wind or something far more sinister. A painting of an old man with dark, hollow eyes seemed to follow you with its gaze as you passed.
“Creepy,” you muttered under your breath.
About halfway up a narrow staircase, Dipper stopped, holding up a hand. “Wait. Did you hear that?”
Everyone paused, ears straining in the silence. You heard faint noise, like the creak of a door or perhaps a floorboard. Once you realized the sound had come from behind you, the hairs on the back of your neck stood on end.
“Probably just the house settling,” you said, trying to sound confident, though your pulse quickened.
As you all resumed your journey upward, you became engrossed in the eerie atmosphere, glancing over your shoulder every now and then to make sure the twins were still behind you. The air suddenly felt heavier.
“Guys?” you called out, your voice echoing through the mansion.
No response.
You took a step forward, the floor creaking beneath your feet. In the eerie quiet, you could hear every sound, the soft rustle of your clothes and the distant whistling of the wind, and then. What was most distracting, however, was the slow, rhythmic exhale on the back of your neck. You stiffened, goosebumps rising on your skin.
“Stop breathing at my ear, Dipper-” you started, turning to face him, but there was no one there. Soos, Mabel, and Dipper were no where to be seen. Your heart jumped into your throat. You whipped around in all directions, the narrow hallway stretching into darkness. “Guys?”
The only response was the sound of the old house groaning and settling around you. The hallway suddenly felt much longer than it had before. It was as if the walls themselves were pressing in. The breathing came again, louder now, as if it was right beside your ear. The air felt colder, suffocating.
“Stop messing with me! Seriously, this isn't funny!” you shouted, taking a shaky step back.
Then, out of the corner of your eye, you caught a glimpse of something. It was just a shadow, but it moved unnaturally, darting around the corner of the hall.
Your breath caught in your throat as you began to move. Your steps were slow at first, cautious, slowly getting faster and faster. You ran, your footsteps pounding against the creaky floorboards. You had to find the others. You had to get out of here.
Suddenly, the faint voices of Dipper, Mabel, and Soos came through the walls, as if they were calling from somewhere far away. But, they weren’t words you understood. It was an unintelligible murmur, distorted, like someone speaking underwater.
Your heart was racing in your chest, the mansion’s layout warping and twisting around you. The hallway stretched on forever. The shadows were alive, creeping closer, pressing in from every direction. The breathing, always there, behind you, beside you. It never stopped.
Finally, as you rounded a corner, you saw them. Dipper, Mabel, and Soos were standing together in the dim light of the ballroom at the end of the hall, their backs turned toward you.
Relief flooded through you as you ran toward them. “There you are! You scared the hell out of me.” As you got closer, something was wrong. Their figures were unnaturally still, and the air around them was colder than before.
“Dipper,” you pleaded. You looked at Mabel, her back still toward you, "Please stop, You're really freaking me out."
None of them turned around.
You reached out, your hand trembling, and touched Dipper’s shoulder. He slowly turned to face you, but his eyes were empty, hollow, and his mouth was twisted into a cold smile.
“Welcome home,” he whispered, his voice not his own.
The lights flickered, and then everything went black.

kenjaku is genuinely so creepy and i think that’s one of the reason why i love him SOOO much !! ive always had a liking towards characters who are insanely messed up and grotesque and kenny is like the perfect example of that. hes gross like — actually. i think hes a good example of how genuinely fucked up jjk is, and as much as people hate him i think he’s such an amazing character. gege’s dark writing when it comes to him and sukuna is so IWHSHSBSHEWJW !! sukuna being a cannibal and his entire thing revolving around cooking is so cool to me. like his entire character circles around things like that. he can use fire which.. cooking! when you cook you can eat! sukuna eats ppl.. his malevolent shrine is just a bunch of slashes which cut you to death and when you cook you’re usually cutting and chopping things.. with kenjaku and the whole pregnancy thing as well.. the womb.. it’s like disturbing and honestly it makes ppl a little sick but i find it so interesting because that kind of writing i LOVELOVEEE SMM!! kenjaku was willing to do the most nasty things just to get his plan to work. he’s such a scum of the earth guy sigh.. that’s why im so SOO happy i found this blog because you also like kenjaku and i can safely talk about my love for him without getting jumped 💔 im really sorry this is so long!! im just really happy it’s a safe spot to talk about these things! i love horror :3
i love kenny 🐑
THIS THIS THIS THIS . GOD. THIS.
i literally love you so much lambnon you worded this perfectly….. i loveeeee horror elements in fiction and i agree that jjk does it so so SO well!!!! sukuna & kenjaku are such great examples because not only are they morally reprehensible in really disgusting ways, they also … feel literally no shame over it. they never try to justify it . morality doesn’t even exist to them, and i think villains like that are sooo fun <33
sukuna’s cannibalism and general thematic ties to food & eating is SO tasty especially since it all goes back to him eating his twin in the womb … it’s like eating is a curse that follows him around but he’s made it into a point of pride. you know? he’s so unabashedly awful and i loveeee that about him…..
AND KENJAKU. i agree on all points!!!! everything!!!!!! he’s soooooo creepy and so eerie and so gross. i find it really funny and fitting that even sukuna thinks of kenjaku as a freak LMAO. which is . extra interesting when you remember that the womb is a special place even to sukuna… and kenny sort of… perverts it. he makes it into his own science lab. it’s so twisted and sickening and tasty because kenjaku doesn’t just impregnate that woman from the kamo clan, he impregnates himself!!!! and i can only imagine that he did it partially just out of worldly curiosity which is….. sooo . him? he’s so insane? 😭
literally nothing is off limits to kenjaku, and that makes him such a fun villain….
^ i think he says it best himself :3c
the womb motif in general is also so . Good… the motherism of it all….. i’m forever bitter that we never got to see his domain in action because the fact that it’s basically a manifestation of a womb realm is soooooo fucking sick oh my god. body horror is so scary to me but also so insanely tasty and the fact that kenjaku’s whole character revolves around it just!!! scratches my brain. no pun intended.
anyway …. this ask made me a little insane. i’m so happy to have you here lambnon!!!! :’3 this blog will always be a safe space for lovers of the grotesque / of kenjaku in general <333 our beloved scum!!!
#he’s soooooo awful . dreamy sigh#THANK YOU FOR THIS LAMBNON!!!! and pls never apologize for the length of your asks <3#this was such a joy to read#I LOVE HORRORRRR#i’m a scaredy cat but it’s fine when it’s manga …. usually……#phdjdhdh .#also . i am forever bitter that kenny got left in the dust :///#that will always be my biggest complaint against jjk…..#i would’ve loved an entire arc just about the heian era sorcerers because i truly love them all :’)#ask tag ✩#🐑 anon !! ✩#kenny !! ✩

"let him in."
(lj x fem! Reader<3 this is kinda inspired by the film "let the right one in" this is just pure cliche, angst and fluff, also this is my first time writing stuff like this so it's kinda shitty+really short so lmk if u want a part 2)
(inspired by the movie "let the right one in" <3 this is basically angst + fluff since u and lj recently had a argument,u being upset him getting scared that u will leave him )
It was a gloomy day,it has been raining all day long and u wanted to go outside badly.to get ur mind off the argument with jack. U were telling him that he can't be with you 24/7 .u had work to do. But he just wouldn't understand so u just left him and stayed in ur room all day, eyes bloodshot from crying, dark circles under ur eyes.,it was all too much, was it guilt? For talking to jack like that?or was it because u were mad? Who knows. But all u needed at times like this now was someone to comfort you. Normally ,jack would be there with you, comforting you, fulfilling ur needs, telling how much he loves you,how much u mean to him, wipping ur tears like no other, you really missed him.u wanted to apologise and got off ur bed where u were rotting in,only to be startled by someone knocking at your door, the voice calling out your name seemed oddly familiar, "y/n..?" a/n: GUYS GUYS GUYS !!!!!! ITS SOO VERY FUCKING SERIOUS FOR MEEEEE!!!! 😫😩 TODAY IS SKZPALOOZA AND IM ABOUT TO FUCKING KMSSSS!!!! 😭😫 okay anyways, back to our regular programming... this episode was a lot heavier and darker than all the others ones, and it will only get worse from here. I didn't want to make it very long and drag out the scene for this, or to make light of it. I wanted to treat everything that happens to Felix in this as delicately and gently as I can. I hope you guys are enjoying this lil series of mine, and I can't wait for ya'll to read the next few parts! 💗

Thankfully, the campus was pretty dead and deserted on the weekends, since everyone was sprawled out across the place or getting lost somewhere in the city.
Minho did run into a few of his classmates in the practice hall while he worked over that weekend, but since there were a handful of rooms for each class year, he didn’t have too much trouble finding time to himself.
So that’s how he spent his entire weekend, sweating off all of his problems and shoving down all of his feelings with gallons of water. By the time Sunday night rolled around, he was completely exhausted. His legs felt like jelly and his arms trembled each time he tried to do that certain part of their routine that he was having so much difficulty with.
He had started getting a headache earlier in the afternoon — probably from all of the stress of classes — so he had turned off the studio lights. With it being so late at night on a random Sunday, everyone had gone home and he was the only one left in the Technical Dance Studio building.
The waning crescent moon shone outside the studio window like a toenail, offering enough light on the hardwood floors for Minho to see his steps and what he was messing up. Besides, he had an unusually exceptional vision in the dark, so if having the lights off helped his head, he was able to put up with it.
“Fuck— why can’t I get this right?!” He exclaimed in a frustrated tone, stopping his movements and staring at himself in the mirror. His shoulders heaved with each breath he took, with his entire upper half drenched in sweat. The white t-shirt that he always wore for luck to practice was completely see-through from how much he had been dancing.
Silence ensued across the practice room, as Minho blew out a few deep breaths to regulate his racing heart. The dark shadows curled around the corners of the wooden floors, making the place seem eery in a calming kind of way.
“You shouldn’t push yourself so much.”
Just like that, his body was completely freezing up. Pulling taught like a bowstring, he could feel his entire spine going rigid and pin-straight. In the reflection of the mirror, his eyes searched the darkness behind him.
There, he found the source of the voice.
A soft, light, familiar tone.
In the shadows, it was hard to make him out entirely, but the blonde locks that were slightly messy were unmistakable.
Minho yanked his eyes away from the reflection as Felix neared the moonlight slowly. “What are you doing here?” He asked, reaching down to the ground and grabbing his towel to wipe off the sweat that was dripping down his forehead. “I thought you never wanted to see me again.”
Felix was quiet for a few beats after that- like he was calculating and deciding his next words. Then, “I never fucking said that… I just meant that I—”
Dropping the towel back on top of his bag, Minho turned around to face Felix. “That, what? You’ll always hate my guts and I’m a horrible person? Trust me, you don’t have to tell me twice, I already fucking know.” He ground out, giving Felix a deadpan stare without any bit of mirth.
But he was trying to put up a front. Because inside, the concern was burning him up. Eating him alive, from how thin Felix looked since the last time he had truly seen him at the party a few weeks before.
Almost like… he hadn't been eating.
His clothes weren’t as put together as Minho was used to seeing him wear around campus. His dark blue hoodie and matching sweatpants hung off his limbs like if the autumn wind blew hard enough, they’d rip right off.
Felix shoved his hands into his pockets roughly, finally meeting Minho’s gaze. The pain Minho saw there, the disheveled hair and the wrinkly eyebrows, Minho didn’t know how to process it all. “I’ve never hated you, Minho.” He said, a little quieter than before. “I don’t know how I ever could.”
“Well, you should. Because I’m a horrible person.”
“Don’t say that, you’re not. If anything, I’m the shitty one here— I fucking invited you to that stupid party when I knew how it would be and I don’t know why I thought it’d be a good place to—”
Minho canted his head to the side just a tiny bit, leaning his back against the mirror behind him. In the moonlight, Felix’s blonde tresses shone like spun golden starlight. “You don’t have to explain yourself. I shouldn’t have gone in the first place, it was a bad decision and I should’ve listened to Chris.”
Felix’s eyes darkened a little bit at the mention of his older brother like he had some personal vendetta against him. “Why, because my brother said I’m a bad boy these days and my choice of friends are shit?”
Shrugging slowly, Minho’s eyes scanned down the expanse of Felix once more. And he could feel the younger’s eyes tracking him, as Felix subtly shifted his stance so that his shoulder was leaning against the wall right beside the floor-length window. Like he was self-conscious and he didn’t want Minho to study him too well.
“No, Chris never said anything like that. He just— didn’t think it was a good idea, with the opposite grade years and stuff. Maturity-wise, I guess.” Minho’s voice had grown a little quieter in the silence of the practice room, watching as his words changed the emotions displayed on Felix’s face. They went from anger to sadness, to defeat rather quickly.
Felix hit the side of his head rather roughly with a fist, “I’m so fucking stupid— I just wanted to— I just wanted to be with you. And I couldn’t even do that right because I can’t do anything right and—”
“Felix, hey— stop. It’s okay, you’re not stupid. It’s not a big deal so don’t worry about it,” Minho said, waving a hand in the air to try and dismiss some of the tension in the room. But he was lying right through his teeth. Because the things that had happened that night at the party still stuck with him, even weeks later. “I’m over it, so it’s fine.”
By then, Felix was covering his face with his hands, sighing so deeply into them that his fragile shoulders were shaking incrementally. “But I’m not! I fucked up like I always do! I ruined everything and I know that you hate me— and that you’re lying!” His outburst forced Minho to freeze in his place, waiting for him to continue. And then Felix was pulling his hands away from his face and Minho watched as the rivers started running down his cheeks. “I just— I really missed you and I—”
Minho didn’t afford him any more words. He was crossing the small expanse between them and enveloping Felix in a hug before anything else could happen. It was muscle memory, truly. He didn't think about anything else at that moment - about himself or his own emotions. And instead, all that rang out in his brain was: comfort him, comfort him, comfort him.
It was their first hug since Felix had started at the university. He felt so light and fragile in Minho’s grasp, and he made careful work of wrapping his arms around Felix’s waist. Slowly, he brought a hand up to Felix’s neck, stroking the back of his head in a soothing motion.
“It’s okay, Lixie. I’m not upset, really,” Minho said, completely being truthful. Because how could he be any more upset than Felix was? How could he continue to be, when Felix was breaking down in his arms? Felix’s shaking hands clawed at his sweaty back, small fingers gripping the damp fabric there. “Please, don’t cry. I hate seeing you cry.”
Those were the same words he had told Felix the day he broke the news that he was moving away from their small hometown in Busan to university hours away in Seoul. He always remembered that day, like it had only happened recently.
He remembered the look on Felix’s face, happiness shattering completely and the tears already clouding the corners of his eyes.
Fourteen-year-old Felix was a sight to behold, with his midnight-black locks and rosy cheeks.
Even still, eighteen-year-old Minho watched Felix’s heart break that day, as he reached forward to him and desperately grabbed for Minho’s waist. He remembered the ear-piercing wailing, the shaking from Felix that day. The way he couldn't stop crying or beating at Minho's chest. Just begging him not to go- begging him to say sike and stay with him there.
And the way that Felix was holding onto him in the practice room, it felt like that day to Minho all over again. But not as loud and not as open. Like… Felix was holding himself back.
Felix was muttering something into the crook of Minho’s neck, over and over again between his tears. His shaking overtook Minho’s entire body, making it hard to breathe from how badly his heart was breaking. He just wanted Felix to be okay, no matter what. That’s all he had ever wanted.
With gentle hands, he hoisted Felix up onto the windowsill that was just behind him. The small alcove afforded enough room for Felix to perch on it easily, and with the added leverage, Minho was slowly able to start pulling him away from his form to talk.
But the moment he grasped onto Felix's wrists to peel him away from his body, the younger man flinched unmistakably, yanking his arms out of Minho’s reach.
Minho could feel the blood in his system grow cold instantly. Running chilled in his veins, his heart slowed down inside his chest. Beating weakly against his ribcage, Minho’s lips were moving before he could even process the words. “Did someone hurt you, Felix?”
Through his tears, the younger man had the sense to shake his head in a reply. But the way he was cradling his arms told Minho something a lot different. With slow movements, like a hunter not wanting to scare away a deer, Minho took hold of Felix’s wrists again.
He brought them close to him once more. Felix was completely frozen in front of him, spine rigid as a board, eyes screwed shut as the tears raced down his freckled cheeks in silent despair. “Please— d-don’t—” He begged, tone breaking and cracking like a shattered piece of glass, the desperation so palpable, Minho could taste it on his tongue.
But the pleas were completely irrelevant, both of them knew. Minho was going to, anyway. Like he had always done in the past.
Then, he found himself pushing up the thick sleeves of Felix’s hoodie, all the way up to his elbows. The darkness of the room made everything go incredibly quiet and hushed, but the moonlight afforded enough light for Minho to decipher the redness and fresh lines there, imprinted into Felix’s normally milky-smooth skin.
“How long?”
Is all he asked, focus still on Felix’s arms and on the way he had been hurting so much without Minho even knowing. Without anyone knowing, like always.
“I-It doesn’t matter, I’m going to stop.” Felix shook in his arms, and Minho slowly covered up his arms again with his sleeves.
“It does matter though, Felix. You always matter.” Minho spoke softly so that only Felix was able to hear his words. And no one else, ever.
Felix wiped away his tears, the tip of his nose red from crying so much and his cheeks still wet. “Since the party, I guess… I just couldn’t—”
Minho could feel his heart break even more at the confession. Since the party. Since everything had blown up in their faces and Minho had ruined it all. “I’m sorry— I never meant to hurt you like this…” He whispered, bringing Felix closer to him again and squeezing his sides in a hug.
“It’s not your fault. It’s no one's fault, Min. It’s my stupid issues… after everything, it’s how I cope sometimes.” Felix said, nuzzling his head into Minho’s shoulder like a kitten seeking attention from its owner.
Moving his head to the side, Minho closed his eyes and breathed in the scent of Felix. Of his floral perfume and the hidden smoke of weed and the fruitiness of his shampoo. His lips hovered over Felix’s head, not touching, but not backing away either. Yet he couldn’t force himself to kiss his head, either. There was still so much time lost and feelings unknown that was stopping Minho from doing anything else than giving comfort just then.
“I guess, I assumed because you’ve changed so much since our childhood, you’ve worked through everything,” Minho started, sighing against Felix in defeat. But that notion was flawed, to begin with. Because the fact that Felix was so changed didn’t necessarily signal a good thing. “That’s a stupid thought, I know. I shouldn’t have assumed it.”
Pulling away from Minho again, Felix stared up at him with gaping, wide eyes that were puffy from crying so much. He bit down on his lips, focus going everywhere in the room except Minho. “Yeah, I— high school was a lot, when you guys left. But I don’t really… wanna talk about it.” Then Felix’s eyes were landing back on Minho’s.
When their gazes met once more, Minho caught the bit of hurt that Felix tried to hide away. It was tiny and waning, but he still noticed the dim light nonetheless. He had noticed it the first time they had met in the campus gardens, and again at the party. It was so small and sheltered, that anyone else would have never even caught a glimpse of it.
But Minho did, like Minho always did when it came to Felix. Just like every time he knew when Felix had turned to harming again during their childhood. He could read it on his face, on the way he carried himself. They were two depressed boys who sought refuge in each other for a time. And it seemed like even into adulthood, they were still two depressed boys seeking out one another in their lowest moments.
Lee Minho was not stupid. He could read people similarly to how Hyunjin could. He knew when something was amiss, and when someone was hiding things from their past.
He knew that Felix was doing that exact thing. But Minho had yet to figure out what exactly he was hiding. Felix put on a good show — wore a pretty, popular mask — but Minho had a sneaky suspicion that underneath all of the smiles, glitter, and sex, there was a lot of darkness and scars.
“You don’t have to tell me anything, ever. I just want to know that you’re okay and safe and that you’ll work on stopping again.” Minho said, motioning with his head down to Felix’s arms again. He had seen him do it before — fall into bouts of depression and turn to cutting, but then pull himself up with the help of Minho. “If you ever need to talk, ever need to distract yourself from it, you tell me, okay?”
Felix was shaking his head in agreement, blinking back the last bit of his tears and tucking a few messy strands of his hair behind his ear. “You… don’t have my phone number though. So how can I—”
Minho waved his words away with a nonchalant hand, “It’s still the same one ending in 0325, right?”
“Uhm… yeah?”
“Then I have it.”
At that, Felix’s body froze again. Eyebrows rising in surprise and pupils sparkling just a tad bit, he couldn’t help but crack a tiny smile. “You mean you saved my contact from all those years ago?”
Minho didn’t know how to reply to that. Should he tell Felix how he felt, after all of the years that had passed? Or should he wait for things to happen naturally and let everything slide into place, however that happened? He decided on the latter, at that moment. “Yeah, I figured I’d run into you at some point since you’re my best friend’s little brother.”
Felix glared his way, rolling his eyes just a tiny bit in exasperation. “Don’t fucking remind me.”
Chris was an amazing brother to Felix, but Minho knew how rocky their relationship was at times. Chris knew a small bit about Felix’s struggles with depression and anxiety growing up, but he had no idea about the cutting. The first time Minho found out about it when they were in high school, Felix had begged on his hands and knees, face wet with tears and snot, for Minho not to tell Chris.
And ever since then, Minho had kept to his promise. So Felix never had to worry about Minho tattling, since he was a man of his word.
“But, it’s really late now. You’ve been practicing all day and you’re exhausted so I should let you go…” Felix’s voice drifted off into the hushed space between them, pulling Minho out of his thoughts.
“I’m not exhausted.”
Reaching out, one of Felix’s hands ran up the length of Minho’s damp bicep. Tracing across his shoulder and brushing against the back of his neck, Felix stared up at Minho with slightly hooded eyes. “Then why are you shaking so much?” In the darkness of the room, the shadows seemed to dance underneath his eyes, curling around his face and making his bleached-blonde hair look smokier.
Taking in a deep breath, Minho held it in his chest, watching the way that Felix’s eyes ran over the length of his face. He could feel his fingers moving behind his neck, brushing against the nape there before going into his hair and combing through Minho’s locks slowly.
“You and I both know nothing can happen, Felix. It never can, not again.” He decided to not answer Felix’s question but instead lay down the boundary line of what they were. He was saying, in a masked, gentler kind of way, that they could only just be friends.
Felix’s fingers froze in his hair, and Minho watched as the look on his face melted into a puddle of sadness. The disappointment flashed in his eyes just as his shoulders slumped a little bit in defeat. “Why… because you think I’m too far gone these days?”
“No, it’s not that,” Minho started, but couldn’t find the right words with Felix still touching his bare skin. So he reached behind his neck and grabbed his hand. Taking it into his own, he squeezed Felix’s fingers lightly. “I just— I think we both need time to process everything. We’ve been through a lot in the past few years and we both need healing from it all.”
“But we can help each other. We can heal together."
“Not in the way you think, Lixie.”
At that, Felix was gradually pulling his hand out of Minho’s grasp. “I’m sorry… It’s getting late, we should both head home.” And just like that, the atmosphere was changing again. Minho could sense Felix shutting himself in again, hollowing out his shell and hiding once more. He stared up at Minho, offering him a bright smile. But the older man knew that it held little mirth beneath it. “Besides, you probably have to practice again tomorrow, so you should let your body rest.”
Then Felix was moving away from Minho’s presence entirely, slinking towards the studio’s doors. The soft, calming energy surrounding them snapped like a rubber band in an instant. Minho could hear his heart beating in his ears, his blood thrumming through his veins with fiery-white heat. “Please don’t be upset, Felix. It’s for the best, trust me.” He said, trailing after Felix as he quickly grabbed his things from the floor and slipped through the front door.
“I’m not upset, I promise,” Felix said, turning to him and reaching out to squeeze Minho’s hand comfortingly. “Besides, now I know your phone number is still the same from our high school days. So I can text you to hang out whenever I want. As friends.”
Then he was pulling away from Minho’s side entirely, turning in the direction of the freshman’s dormitory which was on the other side of the campus.
“Call me, please. I’ll always pick up and I’ll always text.” Minho shouted in the wake of Felix leaving him. The younger man turned around after that and flashed him a thumbs-up with a bright smile. “Text me when you get home safely!”
Minho watched the entire time, as Felix slinked into the foggy night ahead. The chilled air bit at Minho’s sweat-slick skin, but he stood there until he could no longer decipher Felix’s blonde locks from the golden leaves around campus.
And as he turned around and made his way home, he had the distinct feeling that he had royally fucked up. Even though he had put down a boundary, and spoke his mind about what he wanted in that moment, he was quickly realizing that Felix possibly wanted something entirely different.
But Minho would rather sweep everything under the rug — as in, their true feelings for each other — instead of deal with the problems at hand. That was his specialty.
It’s just too bad that Felix wanted the exact opposite of that.
And it was too bad that they were too far apart in age and maturity and… their journeys in life, to ever come together again.
To be back in the same place that they shared during childhood, which was suspended in time. But there was no turning back the clock, so Minho thought there was no use in pondering over it any further.

NOTES:
(1) while everyone else was rather straightforward to translate, i named chikage's character ラノイア ranoia in an attempt to match it to paranoia
(2) i took the roles everyone gives themselves (eg abyss the magician) from their cards' borders, even though they don't all call themselves that, mostly because i thought it'd be cool to reference the cards; chaos's literal introduction of melancholy is 'melancholy, the music player', rather than soloist
(3) lunadi doesn't call the troupe the grim reaper circus in all uppercase, so i thought doing that too would be excessive, despite the event title, probably a bit contradictory considering the previous note, lol. (what lunadi actually calls the troupe is 死神サーカス団 (shinigami circus troupe), but we've got grim reaper circus right there, so)
#a3!#translation#a3! translation#citron#chikage utsuki#muku sakisaka#omi fushimi#tsumugi tsukioka#tasuku takato#izumi tachibana#ps if someone would rather i use grim reaper circus in uppercase for what lunadi uses in the story you can ummm tell me your reasoning

Hiiii gio ❤ it's downright impossible to narrow it down to only 5 so i'm doing a top 10 fuck u
1. Ludwig the accursed / The holy blade
Pristine gameplay, cool lore, spectacular music, the PRESENTATION in both cutscenes?? Truly doesn't get better than this.
2. Father Gascoigne
Thee best tutorial boss in the series don't @ me. This bossfight marks the moment i fell in love with BB <3 Also we don't talk about his daughters' quest.
3. Lady Maria
Peak tragic fromsoft character. The way each phase blends into the next one as she gets more and more desperate to stop you is amazing both gameplay-wise and from a characterization perspective. Also i am gay for her.
4. Artorias
Hey it's the blorbo in law! Another peak tragic character, plus this fight is soo fun <3 Very challenging but never unfair and soo fast-paced, my man living in ds3 while everyone else is stuck in ds1.
5. Ornstein & Smough
The way fromsoft created the perfect double bossfight in the first dark souls and then went "aight that's it. you're never getting this level of quality again lol". Slay.
6. Darkeater Midir
Finally a good fucking dragon fight...... but also shoutout to my beloved Kalameet, like ik midir is objectively better but i love kalameet and felt bad not mentioning him :(
7. Mohg lord of blood
Nihil nihil NIHIL 🩸
8. Great shinobi Owl
Tbh it's a toss-up between him and Genichiro but ultimately i have to give points for parricide big fan of parricide <3
9. Sif
Oupy........ 🥺
10. Micolash
Ok HEAR ME OUT. He has no buisness being in the top 10 but i'm sick and tired of people calling him a bad boss!!!! He is FUN the atmosphere is EERIE he goes WOO when he jumps thru the mirror what more do u want....

Soo I went outside to look for the northern lights and then tried to spook a friend with a dark selfie but now I'm like... The more I look at this the more ghosts I find in this picture? And you can't even hear the eerie wind...

The Wig (2005) directed by Won Shin-yeon
genre: horror age rating: 15+ duration: 1h 46m country: South Korea language : Korean screenplay : Cho Sung-won, Do Hyun-jung, Won Shin-yeon
major stars: Chae Min-seo, Yoo Sun, Lee Jung-sung
plot summary: Two sisters are haunted by a strange wig with dark secrets. Soo-Hyun (Chae Min-Seo), a young woman battling cancer, receives the wig as a gift from her mute sister Ji-Hyun (Yoo Sun). But as Soo-Hyun’s health mysteriously improves, eerie happenings suggest the wig is more than just a beauty accessory.
The Wig had the potential to be a solid horror flick, but it just doesn’t quite hit the mark. the story centers around two sisters: Soo-Hyun, who’s battling cancer and starts wearing this cursed wig, and Ji-Hyun, her older sister who’s lost her voice after a car accident. while the emotional depth is there, the horror elements don’t really land, and the pacing makes it hard to take the whole "evil wig" concept seriously. it’s a directorial debut by Won Shin-Yeon, and I’ve got to say, it was a risky one.
the plot gets pretty tangled (pun intended), especially when they start mixing in flashbacks with the present-day story. the story doesn’t flow smoothly enough to keep me engaged. on the scare factor, it’s pretty tame. no terrifying ghosts, just a couple of creepy moments — like that eerie scene on the train where Ji-Hyun’s reflection starts staring back at her, or the one where she gruesomely scratches her scalp until medicine capsules start spilling out of her scalp. the visuals have their moments, but overall, the movie lacks the tension and fear that a good horror should have. I found myself checking the clock more than gripping my seat.

ㅤalan often wonders, not about which parts of himself he left behind in the lake, but what he managed to salvage. what little scraps of his old self he managed to bring back. hero or villain? good or evil? light or dark? it’s all become so jumbled in his head as of late, the remnants of the late dr. hartman’s claws still digging painfully into his shoulders, coaxing words still whispered into his ear.
ㅤthere are times when he feels like the darkness’ influence has become less of a lingering touch and more of a gripping vise with each moment of self - doubt he allows himself, like it’s waiting to grow exponentially every time he shuts his eyes, ready to seep through his teeth at every smile.
ㅤaching fingers, caked with dirt and blood, unfold and grip the papers as he stares at the printed words with an intensity comparable only to seeking answers from biblical text. in a way, they did serve as a guide, paving a path he’d written but had yet to traverse; every event was unfamiliar, yet unfolded exactly as he’d described. written readiness had become his shield, his one saving grace against the darkness waiting to devour him.
ㅤhe'd been certain that this was where the page had been leading them, but the eerie silence stretching along the desolate street didn't bode well. normally, there was a sign. where did the issue lie — within the conceptualization of his writing, or his dwindling understanding of himself?
@survivall : ' soo... back to square one. '
ㅤfrustration is evident on his features, even beyond the ever-present weariness, as he turns to jordan with a sigh. " yeah. back to square one. "
#i am so rusty with writing i scream........#anyway take this and forgive me.#survivall#𝒊. alan wake.

since no one asked here's the uni/college AU
Rose is a painting/fine arts major in uni and befriends Meg and Jammes in her first year during general education for liberal arts courses she's now in her third year and completing several paintings a week which means she has to sign up to use the painting studio provided by the university
enter the music department's ghost!!!
usually she would use it at random but after a couple times using it at late night and hearing beautiful music from the piano room next door she starts to use the same painting schedule thinking it's any other student practicing and tells her friends Meg and Jammes that the best thing the university did was putting the painting studios next to the music rooms because she gets a free concert while doing her work the music plays every tuesday and thursday like clockwork ! but Meg and Jammes know someone in the music department (wink wink!) who says that it's the music department's ghost playing at night and rose doesn't believe any of it
"be so for real right now a ghost???"
so when Rose goes back to the same schedule for painting in the borrowed studio she slowly walks up to the piano room door when it was playing open it and finds... no one there !!! it spooks her so bad she ignores it and decides to finish up and leave the next time she's with her friends she recalls the incident and Meg who is especially supersticious and believes in this stuff is extremely adamant that yes this is a ghost! but she's still not convinced Rose still is deathly afraid of actual supernatural forces and she has to believe its not a ghost for her own sanity and the next time she's there she pleads to the ghost
"please miss maam.. mr... mx person ghost don't haunt me!"
she really speaks to the ghost like any person asking them to not haunt her and that she loves their playing KJBAJKSBD she obviously gets no responses but then later she starts hearing weird noises and the piano music has stopped what's worse she gets the eerie feeling of being watched and rose is soo fucking spooked she couldn't take it anymore! one last noise in the dark corner hallway fucks her up when she was cleaning up her painting stuff and she lets out a scream and runs down the hallway breaking a couple of her brushes in the process
but the next time she's there someone left her repaired brushes!
Rose was so ready to believe it's a real ghost haunting the entire art department but ghosts definitely do not leave free gifts with a strange red hardwriting of her name even so she asks Meg and Jammes if it were either of them and obviously they're like wtf no girl you're being haunted and Rose is so exasperated like !!! I specifically asked him not to haunt me !!! they go talk to the friend in the music department Christine and she confirms it is indeed the music department's ghost but she is quite uncomfortable when talking about it...it's a bit weird !!
and then Meg and Jammes want to bring a ouija board...l
It's so stupid when Rose is painting they just barge into her studio without warning when the music was playing next door and hauls the board into it and Rose is like fuck no!!! but whoever the ghost is thinks it's quite amusing that a couple young girls is messing with him kind of... the music stops the sounds intensify and the "ghost" messes with them however he pleases only stopping when Rose is clearly upset and bids her friends goodbye she just wants the strange happenings to stop that is until the next time she is painting she thinks its time to face her fears and go see for herself who this ghost really is and opens the piano room door to see a black shadow in the darkened room hitting the piano's notes... there's only two yellow stars that stare at her from where the head of the body should be..
"you! You're the ghost!"
