SONNY BRISKO was just happily enjoying his time with you in a simple cafe, he had an off day and wanted to spend it with you!

"yeah no haha,, tomorrow i'll probably just be streaming- oh! have you seen that new ga-"

"are you guys ready to place an order?"

the waiter had abruptly cut him off, not he minded though. he had only payed attention to the obvoius fact that when he said "guys" he clearly only meant you, evident with the way he was staring at you.

sonny in response rolled his eyes, but he refused to say anything. he was quite.. unsure if he should piss off a waiter. "what if they spit in your drink or something!" was what you had said to him one late night while cuddling, he was quick to brush it off but now..

as soon as the waiter left with his smile, sonny was quick to try and get your attention back on him. "anyway.. hey maybe after this we head home?" the way he subtly bit the inside of his mouth made your brain come up with an answer as to why his mood seemed to have faltered.

- with a smirk you leaned forward and gave him the biggest doe eyes you could muster, "oooh.. i smell jealousy..~

- he's quick to deny, his eyebrows quick to lower. "jealous? pfft.."

- a small silence comes over him before a quiet "no.." comes out.

- smiling softly, your quick to remind him that he's the only one fitted for you. the only blondie that you'd ever love. and that you'd choose him over any other forms of egg

you look back up at him and you see his eyes visibly widen as a soft tint of read paints across his face. "y-yeah.. let's."

giggling, you hold his free hand and drag it into the nearest jewelry store. stopping as soon as you come into the just, oh-so-cute bracelets that were had just a tint of gold in them. "luc' look!" "they look nice yeah.."

his answer seemed so dull to the thoughts rushing into his head.. holding your hand as the bracelets stay near eachother, kissing the back of your palm as he sees the bracele-

"ah you do have quite the eye!" a woman with her brown hair down comes over to you, smiling softly. "as expected from someone so pretty looking~"

luca immediately clears his throat, looking at the woman directly in her eye. "oh! i apologize,, you must be their partner.. anyway,, the bracelet.."

- luca quickly payed for the bracelets before walking out with you.

- noticing the silence, you decide to speak up "i'm not interested in her luc'"

- he glances in your direction before looking back forward, "i know that"

- "so why are you jealous hm?" a giggle escapes your lips, the lips that he wants to oh-so kiss to just shut up before he explodes.

- "jealous? pfft! no! why would i be?" he laughs, but the laughter is short lived before he goes silent and looks down.

- "..." you smile before grabbing his hand to intertwine, the bracelets clinking together. "you're the only one for me luc, i promise."

- he stays silent, but you know that his face is red <3.

it's alban's first day at college. recently, he just moved to a different country, causing him to have to move colleges. (i'm pretty sure that's not how stuff works but it's okay lol)

he and his family moved there for business with their full family.

there, he was welcomed by many friendly people, like a girl named maria and another guy named ren.

although he didn't expect to fall in love with another guy, his name was sonny.

"he had bright yellow hair, with white colored tips. his eyes were a gorgeous sky blue, and had fair skin." was how alban explained his new crush to his older brother, luca.

since luca went to the same college as him, he knew exactly who alban was talking about.

he & sonny got along very well, so luca knew lots about him. he offered to help alban get close to him, and maybe win his heart.

alban accepted immediately, wanting to try his luck at his love life.

alban never actually had a partner, sk he wanted to try dating for once. he would always get teased by his friend, uki, that he didn't have any bitches, and he wanted to change that.

luca taught alban whatever he knew about sonny, starting from what his favorite food is to his previous girlfriends or boyfriends, which he somehow didn't have any.

alban thanked luca. he said that he would treat him to lunch, wherever he wanted. he knew it was a bad idea, but no amount of money would be worth as much as how much luca just helped him.

then alban just went on with his day and did the usual stuff he did. read, play games, eat dinner, whatever he does before bed, brush his teeth and go to bed.

alban's alarm went off. alban woke up and rubbed his eyes, tired. however, he had to get up for college.

he slowly for out of his bed and went to he bathroom to freshen up. he washed his face with some water.

when he felt like his eyes were no longer glued together, he left the bathroom and made his way to he kitchen.

since his parents were out on a business trip, it was only his older sister yotsuha, his older brother luca, and him.

it turned out that his older sister had cooked for the 3 of them. she cooked them some eggs and bacon. although she wasn't the best cook, at least she could make them breakfast.

"yotsuha? when did you get up?" alban asked, a little confused. "oh, hey alban! i got up at 4 to cook for us." yotsuha said with a smile.

"you know you could've just let us cook, right? you didn't have to do this." alban spoke, a bit grateful that she wanted to cook for them though.

"it's okay! i'm way better at cooking than you guys. besides, who knows if the first thing i wake up to is the smoke detector going off? we wouldn't want that, would we?" yotsuha jokingly said, grinning.

"hey—! we're not that bad at cooking!" alban said, defending him and luca.

"if washing the flour is good at cooking, then i guess i'm the gordon ramsay in your standards." yotsuha joked again. alban just pouted and called for luca.

luca went down. it seemed like he just woke up earlier.

"oh? who cooked?" luca asked. "oh, yotsuha did." alban answered, and yotsuha just smiled. "really? pog! that looks good. good job!" luca was proud of yotsuha, even if she's older than him.

luca sat down at the table as they all dug in. the breakfast was definitely great. they all got ready for class and went together.

since they were all in different classes, they parted ways and agreed to meet during lunch and to tell each other if they had any plans.

alban grabbed his books and made it to his classroom where he saw maria running to alban.

"hey alban!! how are you?!" maria greeted alban, she sounded excited. "hey maria. i'm good. you seem to be in a good mood today, what happened?" alban greeted back before asking maria why she seemed so happy today.

"oh! i heard that doppio and ver-senpai got together! you know, the third year in your brother's class? i'm really happy for them!" maria told him happily.

"oh! speaking of your brother, i heard from pomu that your older brother and shu-senpai got together as well? is it true? if so, then can you tell them i said congratulations?" maria added, telling alban the latest gossip.

"oh really? even i didn't know. guess i'll have to ask him myself." alban paused,

"hey, i have a secret to tell you. but you have to promise you won't tell anyone! okay?" alban added, whispering to maria. he wanted to share who his crush was to maria.

"sure! what is it?" maria wondered what the secret could be. it looked like she had sparkles in her eyes.

"i have a crush." alban whispered, blushing a little bit. "oh? who is it?" Maria whispered back, she sounded even more excited, wondering who this secret person is.

"it's a second year, sonny brisko. promise not tell anyone though!" alban gave out his pinky finger, signaling maria to pinky promise with him.

"i promise! i won't tell anyone! besides scarle though~ don't worry, she can keep secrets." maria winked.

"if you say so... but you can't tell anyone else! only her!" alban whispered. he trusted maria & scarle with his secret, hoping they won't tell anyone else.

they were about to talk before the bell rang. they decided they were gonna talk during break and went to their respective seats.

the bell finally rang signaling lunch time is starting. the professor let them leave the classroom to go to the cafeteria, or wherever or whoever you need to go to.

alban and maria decided to have lunch with their own groups. alban went to the cafeteria to find his older siblings, and he spotted them near a table.

"hey guys!" alban shouted out, getting both yotsuha's & luca's attention. "hey alban!" luca & yotsuha said in unison.

"did you wait long?" alban asked, with luca & yotsuha shaking their heads as an answer.

they went to the lunch lady and got their lunches. they went to a table and ate together.

yotsuha & luca were just chatting, while alban was thinking about the information luca gave him yesterday about sonny.

he decided he was gonna ask sonny to be his friend later when they're about to go home.

after lunch, alban left the cafeteria leaving yotsuha and luca behind to get his books and go to his classroom once again.

it seemed maria hasn't came back from lunch yet, so alban just sat around and waited for class to start.

another few boring hours of class, and the college day ended. every student packed up whatever they needed and left the classroom when the professor dismissed them.

alban made his way to yotsuha's classroom, which is also where sonny's classroom is.

he saw that sonny hadn't went home yet, along with a few students. he bravely went up to sonny.

"h-hi! my name is alban knox. do you wanna be friends?" alban introduced himself to sonny.he stuttered a little during the 'hi', but hoped sonny wouldn't notice.

"oh, hi! i'm sonny brisko. and sure!" sonny introduced himself after alban introduced himself. it seems he didn't realized alban stuttered a bit.

"cool! nice to meet you!" alban said, happy that sonny wanted to be friends with him.

"nice to meet you too, alban." sonny said back, a little bit confused but happy that someone asked to be his friend.

it seemed they were both too happy to realize a few stares from the class, they weren't just normal stares though. they were stares that came from a few students who were jealous of sonny or alban.

as time went on and on, sonny & alban became close friends. they hung out often and basically became best friends.

maria, scarle, and others who alban told sonny was his crush started shipping them together.

day by day, alban felt more attracted towards sonny. the more he got to know him, the most attractive he seemed to alban.

as for sonny, he never told anyone about his crush, which is alban. he also got more and more attracted to alban as time went on.

eventually, sonny decided to ask alban out for a coffee date. and of course, alban accepted.

11:15 AM, 15 minutes before the coffee date.

alban got ready for the plans he had with sonny. he wore some casual clothing; a white shirt, some baggy beige pants, and a small bag where he can store his wallet and phone. he also wore some cologne.

yotsuha insisted that she wanted to do his hair, and alban didn't refuse since he knew that yotsuha would keep insisting.

she did his hair neatly, saying "ta da~!" when she finished styling his hair.

alban looked in the mirror, seeing his hair in a curtain mullet style.

he thanked yotsuha and said that he needed to go now. he grabbed his bag and went out to go to the cafe near their house.

when he made it, he saw sonny outside, waiting for alban. he called sonny's name and waved at him, receiving a shout of his name and a wave back.

"sorry to keep you waiting. did you wait long?" alban asked, worried if he made sonny wait.

"not at all! i just made it here a few minutes ago." sonny reassured.

"okay! let's go in, shall we?" sonny said, giving out his hand for alban to take. alban took his hand and they went in together.

"hello! welcome to umai cafe! i'm going to be your waitress, you can sit over here." the waitress greeted in a friendly voice, walking over to a table, signaling them both to follow her.

when the waitress seated them, she gave them a menu and patiently waited for them to be ready to order.

sonny ordered some ramen and alban ordered a dark chocolate mousse since he already ate something at home. the both ordered a portion of sushi to share.

when they finished eating, they talked about future plans and how their days have been going.

"hey alban... 𝙞 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙛𝙚𝙨𝙨." sonny said, surprised he didn't stutter. he was already nervous, and he didn't even say what he wanted to say yet.

"yeah?" alban said, wondering what sonny wanted to confess. he thought of a confession that he likes alban, but he just ignored that thought knowing he's probably not up to sonny's standards.

"ever since we became friends, i've always loved your company. i always loved how positive you are. i always loved how cute you are. i couldn't imagine how i would be right now if you hadn't asked to be my friend. but for some reason, ever since i met you, i could never get you out of my mind. i tried talking to some friends about it, and they all answered the same thing. so i've come to a conclusion. 𝘪 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶. 𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦 𝘣𝘦 𝘮𝘺 𝘣𝘰𝘺𝘧𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘥." sonny confessed, glad that he didn't stutter. "oh, and if you don't want to, that's totally fine too. i understand, i'll get over it if you don't like me back." sonny added, feeling a little sad after.

"𝘪-𝘪 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘰𝘰..!" alban said, blushing and immediately turning red after he said that, covering his face.

"you do..?!" sonny's eyes widened, not believing what alban just said.

"𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘺-𝘺𝘦𝘴... 𝘪'𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘣𝘰𝘺𝘧𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘥.." alban added, blushing even harder. and it was obvious he was blushing.

sonny pulled him in for a hug, he felt like the happiest man alive right now. he couldn't believe it. 𝘢𝘭𝘣𝘢𝘯'𝘴 𝘩𝘪𝘴. 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘩𝘦'𝘴 𝘢𝘭𝘣𝘢𝘯'𝘴.

his kisses are very playful in nature. he’ll pull you in a little roughly and press his lips to yours with a smirk as he mumbles something about how much he loves you. pull him by his tie into a kiss and printer man will be in HEAVEN. something about it is so attractive to him in a way he can’t explain.he just loves it nearly as much as he loves you. wait no, he loves you way more.

as for your first kiss with printer man (formerly printer boy before he got his glow up), it was really an accident at first. it had been a few days since you confessed your feelings for each other, and now you and him were working with the rest of the iluna gang to decorate for a school dance. kyo was hanging directions when he began to teeter off the stool he was standing on, causing you to run up behind him in case he fell. he turned around to say hi before the stool mysteriously fell (not like maria was standing right behind it and kicked it out from under him haha what are you talking about of course not). in true fanfiction written by a teenager fashion, he ended up on top of you with his lips on yours. it really was an accident. but when he pulled away, he simply looked in awe and asked, “can we do that again?”.

“Not the horse!” you cried in horror, watching one of Sonny’s Minecraft videos before bed.

As part of your nightly routine, you laid in bed on your phone catching up on streams you may have missed at work as you waited for your boyfriend to get ready to sleep. Tonight, you just so happened to skip around to the wrong part. Right when you skipped through and pressed play, you saw Sonny completely slaughter his own horse for everyone to see.

With your jaw dropped wide open, you turned as you heard the sound of the bathroom door opening.

Sonny tilted his head when he saw the look on your face, gently tapping the bottom of your chin to shut it. “You’re catching flies,” he said in jest. “What’s that look of terror for?”

“It’s because of you!” you said indignantly. “Your poor horse! How could you?”

He was momentarily stunned to confusion until realization dawned on him. “Oh— You mean the horse in Minecraft?”

“Yes! He’s been through so much with you— You even had armor on him! Then you just strip him of his armor and then murder him once a new horse came around?” you fumed, folding your arms across your chest. “Then what if you find a horse with even better stats? Will you murder your current one too?”

As someone who solely relied on sweet berries and bread as food when playing Minecraft, you never slaughtered an animal. They were too cute, and the noises they made when they died were too sad. How could anyone want to make those precious pixels disappear?

Trying to hold in a laugh at your pouty face, Sonny pinched your cheek. “It’s only a game, baby. You know I’d never do something like that in real life.”

You shook him off you, brows still furrowed. “Maybe Minecraft horses have feelings too. And the dogs! And pigs and cows and sheep—”

His adorable laughter interrupted your train of thought. “They’re just pixels, silly. They don’t have feelings.”

“But… What if they do?” you protested meekly, losing some of your fighting spirit as you rested your head on his shoulder. “They’re too cute to be expended like that.”

“Okay,” said Sonny with a chuckle, conceding once he heard your dejected tone. “I guess you can say they are cute pixels.”

You peered at him, hopeful. “So you won’t ruthlessly murder the Minecraft animals anymore? Especially your horses.”

“If it’ll make you feel better, I won’t.”

Everyday you wrote letters to the infamous novelist,Ike eveland. You had a crush on him and only liked him from afar. You did have many mini conversations with him but never really hung out with him at all.

You always came to school early to stick on the letters on his locker but your best friend Yugo Asuma suggested that you should give him some random sweets or his favorite soda with the letter. Which you did decide to do. You thought it was a cute idea so you took the thought on after a week of giving him letters.

You have been writing him letters for 2 weeks so far. One letter everyday unless you were sick. He was one of the main reasons why you go to school so early,the other reason why you go to school is because you just loved writing in the library. The early morning air always gave you a sense of comfort.

Each letter Ike received from you made him so curious who you were.He was asking many people with similar writing styles if they wrote the letter to him,to which all of the denied. You wrote usually in print writing in school while when you were writing the letters for Ike ,you wrote in a fancy joint writing so that you could stay as anonymous for a long time.

He had attempted to find out who you were by going to school early but he was never early enough.

You woke up at 4 am everyday,regardless of it being weekend you still left the house before 5 am. You did this because your parents would always fight at 5 am. They took a really early morning shift at their work and would find something to disagree on. They told you recently that they might get a divorce because of how unhappy they were with their current marriage.

You were happy for them as long as you were still going to attend the school you currently are attending.

-Time:05:03am-

You made it into school just as usual but this time you saw a certain someone sleeping at the lockers with their back resting on the blue lockers. Their bag was leaning beside him.

You could hear his soft snores as silence surrounded the both of you.You chuckled in a quiet matter as you made your way to your crush. Holding the letter and a mini bag of gummy bears in your hands,the air was crisp and you felt cold even though you were in the school building already.

Your finger tips were cool at the touch.You placed the bag of gummy bears and the letter on his lap knowing that you could potentially wake him up.

'So,you were here waiting for me huh?'You smiled to yourself as you just plopped yourself beside the snoring boy.You decided to just sit beside him for only 5 minuets before heading to the library.

You sigh in anticipation as you stood up from your resting position you put on your bag and left.

Ike was frustrated because the letter you had written this time was much sweeter than usual. Shu laughed at his friend's whining.

"We all know you want to find out who they are,I just can't believe you fell asleep and woke up with the letter on your lap" the raven haired boy chuckled. Ike was pouting in the most cutest way ever.

You had witnessed the whole thing and started blushing.You covered your face with your hand after you were done and made your way to the outside basketball court. Shu's attention to the way you ran and noticed how red you were and took suspicion that you were behind the letters.

Shu smirked that he had found a clue on who it was but continued his conversation.

It's been 2 weeks and you still write letters to Ike but you felt like your feelings have only gotten stronger by the time. It was lunch time and Yugo had to practice in the music room with Alban,Fulgur,Uki and Sonny.They were a band in our school,their band name was 'noctyx'.

You just decided to eat your lunch in the school library. As you entered the library the smell of books surrounded you. You waved hello to the school librarian to which they had smiled in return.

You swore under your breath as you ran all the way over to your locker,leaving all the rest of your belongings in the library.Your sweat was cold and you felt like you were going to cry out all your anger if you didn't find your key soon.

When you reached your locker,you saw that your key was gone.You were going to burst into tears so you went back to the library to grab your belongings.

As you arrived to where you left your things,you saw Ike there. You were tense and Ike noticed how panicked you were so he smiled at you,attempting to cheer you up.

"Oh!Hi Y/n,is this yours?" in his hands was your locker key and the keychain in perfect condition. You sighed in relief and happiness.You smiled at the ombre haired boy.

The subtle breeze was refreshing as it hits your face.Your body seated on the wooden bench of the enchanted kingdom's garden.

You were playing the lyre while humming.Your fingers brushing off each string. The wooden instrument was rested on your lap as you played it. The song you were playing was about the stars never connecting the way you wanted which was a metaphor of you will never get everything the way you want in the end.

The garden was truly enchanted.The illuminating lanterns lit up the place,the greenery and flowers surrounded the area and many different statues of animals and historical people scattered beside the plants. There were fireflies during the darkness of the day.

It just turned midnight a few minutes ago and you still were enjoying the scenery of the apple garden.The garden was named after the legend of 'Adam and eve'. Regardless of the title,the place was still your favorite area of the whole kingdom.

You were staying for the next month before leaving to go home to your family's kingdom.

Chuckling at his desk.Sitting at his desk with the window wide open to hear your lovely tune.He could see your shadowy figure on a bench. Ike rested his head on his arms smiling at how one can make such alluring music.You encouraged him to write more stories,you were mysterious and flourishing as an individual.You fed his curiosity each night.

Your performance only lasted till the sunrise was visible.Once Ike saw your shadowy figure leave,he would plop himself into bed.Finally sleeping after listening to you for 6 hours straight. Although it was long,he didn't mind being sleep deprived. His sleeping schedule was already ruined by his friends. Stumbling into the unknown of darkness, they stood still at that very moment and saw their usual place. As if the whole universe is filled with sparkling bits of dust. Just the two of them. The woods were too strong to identify which direction they ran off. But not too far from their car. The taller guy lends out his hand to offer the latter some help in climbing a small hill they found.

He might've wanted to refuse his offer. Yet no one is there to watch. No one will be judged. Uki smiled timidly and thankfully grabbed unto the arms of his man. The guy let out a small chuckle as both of their skin came in contact. They both know they got electrocuted by their own desires. It can be seen in their eyes and through the beats of their hearts. Once the blonde guy reached Uki's hand he grabbed him down and off they go to the ground. "What the fuck, Sonny-" Uki blurted the curses because he was too stunned by what happened. Now he's on top of the gullible sunshine, who's smiling foolishly.

Sonny hugged Uki. "I can finally hug you freely like this. No one is looking, right? Then I can do whatever I want with you Uki." He whispered while sniffing the latter's neck, exactly where Uki's beauty mark is placed. "S-sonny where are you sniffing...This-!" "No, please don't stop me. I have been holding back these past few weeks."

"But-" Uki replied in disbelief. But Sonny's eyes were expectant; anticipating that the guy in his arms will agree to whatever he'll say.

"Hear me out, Sonny, the road ahead of us is just too impossible to reach; I don't even know what will happen all the way on our journey. I'm a coward, and that's obvious. But even if I'm like this, will you still accept me?" Uki's words meant a lot to both of them he just found himself in an unexpected relationship with the one he love.

Sonny's eyes sparkled. "Pfft- what are you saying. I love you, Uki Violeta. You captured every single thing in me, you took my breath away from this world full of chaos, you are my star, my worl-"

"Alright! Alright... Geez, aren't you embarrassed saying those to me boldly? God..." Uki paused for a moment still looking away, all flushed in light red. Sonny immediately cut the silence between them. "Look at me. D-do you love me too?" Sonny's face is pure red from his own words, and his cheeks were hot through his ears you can see his embarrassment. Instead of melting on the spot, he locked eyes with the man he loves and eventually brushed off the icky shyness with a loving smile.

Uki was starstruck at Sonny's face, his lips froze as his mind became blank. The purple-haired guy gently caressed Sonny's face and titled his head. "Took you too long to notice dumbass." His body moved on its own.

His lips tasted like honey. A sweet, sweet flavor of nectar he harvested and owned.

Under the starry sky, they made a history that only both of them knew. Bodies twisting and turning in a bed of grass, their vision was blurry and pure psychedelic as if they drank a whole bottle of aphrodisiac. The definition of love.

2, 13, 20 for the writing ask game!

HELLO LULU it's been a while since we talked! the good ol' tog days lmao thank you for the ask!!

2. Do you plan each chapter ahead or write as you go?

this is a funny question for me bc it depends on the number of chapters + spontaneity? if i start the au on a whim i don't plan for it and it comes back to bite me in the ass because i run out of things to write about / forget about the order of things... when it comes to fics i've wanted to write for A Significant While i make sure to have at least a 1 sentence summary for every single chapter so that i know where i'm going at the very least, and if it's a fanfic + heavily canon compliant i'll probably make a bullet point plan for every chapter so that i know what to reference and how to deal with it

13. what’s a common writing tip that you almost always follow?

idk if this counts as common but if you can Hear the character saying that thing or See the character doing that thing you're probably characterizing them correctly. idk if you get it i can't really explain it but if you write something, reread it, and go "wow i think i was possessed by the character" you Know you're doing p good

(sonny brisko lives in my head rent free... when i write him he literally tells me what to write... i can hear his voice in my head... i'm not going insane i swear)

not necessarily a writing tip but when it comes to fanfiction i find writing incorrect quotes a good way to understand character dynamics! if it looks real but it's not real then that's definitely good

20. Have you noticed any patterns in your fics? Words/expressions that appear a lot, themes, common settings, etc?

c r i m e

im not even kidding i've written 46 fics on ao3 so far and like 2/3 of them have characters breaking at least 1 law, ranging from piracy to flat out murder... i have a handful of detective fics (at least one per fandom) so i guess that's kind of why

on a slightly lighter note i have a tendency to wax poetic when i do introspection? i would say i tend to write in a style that matches the character (e.g sentence length, word choices, swearing, etc) but most of the characters i write kinda vibe the same... the pattern for Kinnable Writing Characters = moon vibe characters yk? like sun&moon dynamics like hell yeah. did you just realize your best friend brightens up your life and makes you feel happier than you've ever been in your life

It was late dinner time and the food you had prepared for you and Sonny was already getting cold. You checked your phone worriedly, looking to see if he left a message that he would be getting home late.

Luckily, before your fretting could evolve any further, you heard the sound of the front door opening along with the faint clanging of keys. Looking up, you saw Sonny trudging through the door and practically collapsing onto the couch with a sigh.

“How was work today, babe?” you asked, walking over to his body on the sofa and brushing the disheveled hair away from his eyes. “Tiring?”

“Mhmm,” he murmured, lidded eyes fluttering shut. “Can I just sleep here…”

Frowning, you took note of his appearance. His messy hair and wrinkled clothes—clothes that were usually tidy and tucked in—along with the faint dark circles forming under his eyes.

“I know you’re tired, but wouldn’t you feel better resting in our bed?”

Sonny’s eyes opened ever so slightly and a light smile graced his face. “You’re right, babe. Especially if you’re in it.”

You laughed, “Don’t sound so eager yet. You still have to eat and then clean yourself up.” He pouted but your tone was resolute. “You’ll feel worse when you wake up if you don’t take care of yourself now, baby.” Your gaze softened when his head drooped in acceptance. “Aw, don’t look so down. I’ll be here to help you, okay?”

“Will you?” he said, face brightening. “I know you must be tired with your own work and responsibilities—”

You gave him a chaste kiss on the forehead, interrupting him. “Of course I’ll help you. We both have our own responsibilities, that’s true. But when I’m too tired, you always help me. And now, I want to help you. That’s what partners are for, right?”

“Right.”

“Mhm, that’s what I thought.” You grinned. “Now, just stay here. I’ll bring you your dinner, okay? Then we can give you a bath after.”

Sonny groaned. “Wait— You’re making me sound like a dog.”

“Stay, boy,” you teased with a giggle. “Who’s a good doggy?”

“Baaabe,” he whined.

“Kidding, kidding.” You ruffled his already messy hair. “I’ll be back before you know it!”

Swiftly, you went over to the kitchen and heated up the food you had just cooked. You plated the meal, grabbing enough for Sonny to eat and you to munch on as well.

When you returned to the living room, you saw Sonny struggling to keep his eyes open as he waited.

“I’m here with food,” you sang softly, taking a seat next to him. “I made it for you.”

He opened his mouth and you fed him a spoonful.

“Do you like it?”

“Yes, yes! I love it.” He nodded eagerly. “I always love your cooking. And the negi— The negi is very fresh.”

You laughed to yourself, flattered. Sonny and his negi, two things that would always be inseparable.

You continued to feed him on the sofa, taking some bites for yourself as well. Once he was satiated by the meal, you stood up and motioned for him to get up on his feet.

“Sleepy still?” you asked.

“Very, yes.”

“You can sleep soon. Let’s make sure you’re all washed and comfy before you get in bed, okay?” You offered your hand to him and he rose to take it, planting a kiss on it before letting it drop by his side.

Sonny walked beside you, a soft sigh escaping his lips. “You’re an angel, did you know?”

“I know,” you joked. “And you are too, baby.”

You led him to the restroom and started up the bath, even adding some of your favorite bubbles and scents to it to help soothe his senses. He stripped off his work clothes and cast them on a pile on the floor. Sonny rinsed off and plopped down into the warm bath, resting his head on the edge of the tub with a sigh.

“Can I sleep here?” he mumbled sleepily, his chin covered in fluffy bubbles. “You can be in here with me.”

“Compelling offer, but I don’t want to get wrinkly overnight.” You stuck your tongue out at him. “Plus, the water will get cold in an hour or so.”

He pouted, looking at you with pleading eyes. “But I can warm you up.”

You giggled at his insistence, gathering a glob of bubbles and planting it on his head in response. “We might get sick, silly! And your hair is still a mess.”

Meekly, he raised his hand up and let it fall back down. “Hmph. Arm tired.”

“Hmm, does someone need me to wash their hair for them too?” you drawled, running your fingers through Sonny’s wet strands of hair. The dampness turned his bright yellow hair into a darker, less vibrant shade. Still, he looked beautiful nonetheless.

He nodded eagerly, making a noise of excitement. “Please, yes.”

“Okay, since you asked nicely,” you sang.

You pumped the bottle of shampoo and collected the contents in the palm of your hand. You rubbed your palms together until the shampoo became sudsy, only then massaging his scalp. Moving in small motions, you slowly shampooed the entirety of his head, feeling his soft hair wet between your fingers.

A soft groan escaped his lips at the soothing motions of your hands. Once he was all bubbly, you tilted his head back slightly to rinse off the soap without getting it in his eyes. After conditioning, you tweaked his nose gently.

“All done.”

“Aww, already?” Sonny pouted, his bottom lip jutting out. Still, he drained the bathtub and stood up, wrapping a towel loosely around his hips. “That felt really nice, baby. Thank you, thank you, thank you.”

He puckered his lips and you leaned forward to accept his kiss. “Anything for you.”

Sonny yawned, stretching his arm so high it could almost reach the light fixture in the bathroom. “Now I’m ready to get in bed, right?”

“Aren’t you missing something first?” you asked with a raised eyebrow.

He blinked. “No?”

“Your clothes!” you laughed, lightly swatting his chest, resting momentarily on the firm cushion of his pectorals.

Apparently, a moment was enough for Sonny to notice. He smirked. “Like what you’re feeling?”

You gave it a squish despite the heat rising to your face. “Indeed I do. But we need to get it covered so you’re cozy for bed.”

Walking over to your bedroom, Sonny followed behind you, the fluffy white towel threatening to fall off his hips with each step. Opening his dresser, you picked the first soft shirt and boxer briefs you could find.

“Arms up!” you said, lifting your arms along with his.

He followed what you said and sat on the foot of the bed so you wouldn’t struggle putting on his shirt with his height. You slid the light grey shirt over his head as he poked his arms through.

Handing him his underwear, he teased, “Don’t want to help me put these on?”

You turned away, feeling your cheeks get warmer. “Don’t push your luck, mister.”

Sonny chuckled, discarding his towel and sliding his underwear on. When he was clothed, he wrapped his arms around your still turned back, hugging you tightly from behind.

“Thank you for all your help today, baby,” he murmured into your neck. “I feel much better going to sleep well-fed and clean.”

“I’m glad,” you said, cupping the side of his face with your hand. “You deserve a nice rest after all your hard work, and I’ll always be here for you when you need help.”

“I know.” Sonny kissed the top of your head. “And I’m always here for you too. Now… Sleep time?” He tugged you over to the bed, falling into the fluffy blankets with you still in his arms.

You laughed, enjoying the feeling of warmth around you. “Yes, now it’s sleep time.”

SONNY-SHINE MAKES THE BAD DREAMS DISAPPEAR

NOTE. i woke up from a nightmare at 5am and my bf wasn’t awake :’( but sonny happened to still be streaming and it helped calm me down LOL so this fic came about (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)

“Are you okay, baby?” a gentle, concerned voice called out to you as you jolted awake in your sleep.

With heavy breathing and a racing heart, you sat upright in bed, shakily feeling the sheets around you to find your phone to use as a dim source of light.

“Did you have a nightmare?” Sonny asked, sitting up beside you and pulling you into his warm embrace. He rubbed your back, up and down, hoping to calm down your rapid breaths.

You nodded miserably. “Yeah, it was about—” you started, but your voice broke off as you shuddered, the images from your nightmare popping up into your mind.

“Shh, it’s alright, babe. It’s over now, okay? I’m here now,” he promised, planting a soft kiss on your forehead. “You don’t have to think about it anymore.”

Sniffling, you buried yourself deeper in his arms, his body heat and his calming presence helping you calm down. Sonny grabbed your hand and put it over his chest. You felt the steady beating of his heart, constant and firm, a reminder that he was right here with you and would be whenever you needed him.

“Come back to sleep with me?” he asked, patting the pillow and leaning back slowly. “We can cuddle!”

That earned a laugh out of you and you eagerly agreed. “My Sonny-shine will keep the bad dreams away.”

And as you laid back into bed with Sonny’s arms wrapped around you, your back pressing against his warm chest, you settled into a peaceful sleep in his embrace.

OF TWIN TAILS AND TUGS

NOTE. when sonny said he liked long hair in twin tails i got happy bc how cute (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵) reader is gn, but does have long hair that can be put into pigtails!

“You look really cute today.” Sonny gently patted the top of your head, hand lingering for a few seconds longer than normal. “You did something different to your hair.”

He didn’t say it as a question, but you nodded in confirmation nonetheless. Just yesterday, you saw a YouTube clip from Sonny’s stream about his preferences. A viewer asked if he preferred long hair or short hair on girls and he—after some hesitation—admitted to favoring long hair. Especially long hair that was in twin tails (which, through a brief Google search, you realized was another way of saying pigtails).

The long hair part was something you had covered quite easily at the moment, but pigtails weren’t exactly your go-to hairstyle ever since you advanced past the age of eight. Now, you were more of an adult; you wanted to be taken more seriously, at least in your professional life.

However, you didn’t have any qualms about dressing fun and cute on the weekends and free days when you didn’t have work. Thus, it came as no surprise that you ran straight to the mirror and imagined Sailor Moon pigtails atop your head the moment you heard of your boyfriend’s hair preferences on women. You decided you would wear the hairstyle the next time you saw him, no matter how childish you may have looked. It was adorable and bouncy and you figured Sonny must think it’s cute, which was a bigger bonus than you may have liked to admit.

“A little birdie told me you liked twin tails,” you said teasingly, toying with a section of your hair tied with a yellow scrunchie. “How do I look, Sonny?”

The corner of his mouth lifted up into a sideways grin, a faint, light pink dusting the apples of his cheeks as he reached out to tug a pigtail. “Pretty as always, babe. And now your hair is even more fun to play with.”

“Play with or yank?” you laughed, swatting his hand playfully.

He simply grinned wider and continued twirling your hair around his finger before giving it another pull. “Is there a difference?”

“Not to you, it seems.”

“Exactly.”

You stuck your tongue out at Sonny and he pinched your cheek. The two of you laughed at the childish situation you found yourselves in, any tension remaining from your weeks at work melting away. No one else could make you feel more at ease than Sonny, and you were sure he felt the same.

“I like the twin tails on you, but I think you look gorgeous no matter what. You know that right?”

Nodding, you softly pecked him on his lips. He always did his best to let you know how much he was attracted to you and how he treasured your relationship—a surprisingly gentle lover despite the more serious way he tried to present himself at first glance. “I know. And I think you look gorgeous as always too.”

Sonny chuckled, gaze never leaving yours as he gave your pigtail one more tug. “I know.”
