The pyro incident: Luke Holland and Christian Thompson injured

Falling In Reverse had to stop and restart their last song of the set, the new release "Ronald" because of the stage pyro getting too big and hot by the blowing wind.

The wind blew the fire in the back of the stage and towards right where the drummer Luke and guitarist Christian were playing. The flames were almost reaching them.

Ronnie Radke was aware of the situation and kept in touch with them each and every second. They agreed on trying to play the set as they should, hoping the wind was being quiet already. They did, and only the last couple of seconds were crucial.

You can see on the footage Ronnie's concern even before he stops the show. The wind was getting stronger.

Ronnie tried to explain the situation and keep it on a humorous level.

Not much later the media joined in and helped in clarifying the causes and effects. Luke Holland also kept informing the fans about their status.

Falling In Reverse playing Sonic Temple Fest in Columbus/OH, 5/17/2024

Falling In Reverse's appearance at Sonic Temple was planned on the 2nd day of the festival, Friday, May 17th, 2024 - 7:30, Temple Stage. They were right before the last band (like in Rockville) that day.

The show was over all a real blast!! They had to stop and restart their last song, "Ronald" like 2 times because the severe wind blowing the stage pyro too close to the performers, nevertheless Luke Holland and Christian Thompson did burn their arms at the end. [This incident will be detailed in a separate post.]

Probably because the stressing situation and the huge delay with the last song, Ronnie was speaking even much more to the crowd than the usual. There are videos containing only the speeches he made to the crowd on different subjects. He was joking a lot and clearing the mood while they were all waiting to be able to continue the show. I choose to share these speeches in separate posts.

Falling In Reverse has no stage performances waiting in line for the next few months. Until Aug 18th, when the Popular MonsTour begins they haven't got anything else scheduled than the release of the "Popular Monster" album on July 26th. Looking forward a quiet creating period again.
