I really do hope they make Sonic catching Shadow one of the most dramatic scenes in the entire movie.

I have a vision: the scene is an exact replica of the SA2 scene, excusing the lines may be slightly different and after Shadow let's go of Sonic we hear Sonic screaming Shadow's name as he is falling to his death, then the scene shifts. Shadow wakes up in a room that reminds of his room on the ARK, He begins to panic but before he gets the chance to the Olive Garden dude comes into the room seemingly to check up on Shadow. Shadow is obviously on the offensive because this is the same dude that caused him a lot of trouble the entire movie but once the Olive Garden man sees he's awake he begins to talk with him calmly. Shadow then asks why he is here and not dead which makes the Olive Garden dude laugh and usher him to follow him out of the room. Shadow hesitates for a moment then follows him outside to another room where he sees Sonic beat up and burned but peacefully asleep hooked up to an IV. Shadow asks the Olive Garden dude why Sonic was here and gets into fighting mode but the Olive Garden dude stops him with a few words, "Because he is the one who saved you,"

We cut back to the scene where Shadow is falling, now he has already breached the atmosphere and as he is falling to the Earth the spin dash noise gets louder and louder until we see a blue figure spinning towards Shadow's falling body. Sonic reached out for Shadow as his super form is fading; they are going so fast that their fur is burning and Sonic's eyes are watering yet he presses in and finally catches Shadow and holds him close. They tear across the sky like a shooting star then crash land on an island. Some time later G.U.N soldiers show up to take Shadow from Sonic but as they were trying to pry Shadow from Sonic's embrace they found that he, even as he was unconscious wouldn't let him go. Sonic in his weak state of consciousness peaks open his eyes at the Olive Garden dude and says hoarsely, "Please, help him,"

If the Sonic Filmverse can still survive the Paramount+ shutdown (if that's ever true, that is)...

Here are my speculations for the future Sonic films:

Espio can be voiced by either Simu Liu, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hardy, Richard Roxburgh, Daniel Craig, Pierce Brosnan, Pedro Pascal, Robert Downey Jr. or Jeremy Renner

Vector can be voiced by Jack Black (though he supports eugenics) or Will Arnett (though he also supports eugenics), David Bautista, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson (though he's a Zionist asshole), Mark Ruffalo, John Lithgow or Kevin Michael Richardson

Charmy Bee can still be voiced by Colleen O'Shaughnessey

Rouge can be voiced by Scarlett Johanssen

Amy Fucking Rose can be voiced by either Mila Kunis or McKenna Grace

Cream can be voiced by Tresi Gazal

Vanilla can be voiced by Elizabeth Banks

Silver can be voiced by either Jesse Eisenberg, Finn Wolfhard, Tom Holland or Michael Cera

Blaze can be voiced by either Emily Blunt, Keira Knightley or Anya Taylor-Joy

E-123 Omega can still be voiced by Aaron LaPlante (seriously, fuck Vic Mignogna and if you don't know what he did, then don't bother)

In the first Sonic film with Amy, Metal Sonic and Team Chaotix in it, Espio will be the first to appear while humiliating Shadow with his ninja-like skills and shurikens during the cold opening; the next scene will start with the G.U.N. agents bringing the just-handcuffed Shadow into the interrogation room. Then Sonic, Tails and Knuckles will head out to find Espio, only to also encounter Vector and Charmy; Team Chaotix will then team up with our heroes to fight against Dr. Eggman, Metal Sonic and Agent Stone while Shadow still remains in prison., only to have Rouge and E-123 Omega bust him out. Meanwhile, Metal Sonic kidnaps Amy and Sonic has to fight him in order to rescue her. As for the mid-credits scene, Silver, alongside Blaze, arrives at Green Hills and meets Deputy Wade Ripple for the first time.

The Minecraft Movie If It Was Good:

(It should've been an artsy stop-motion film in the Wes Anderson style)

Stop Motion wouldn't have been any more expensive than rendering everything in horrifying realistic CGI, the medium would easily work with Minecraft's blocky aesthetic, and it appeals to both old and young demographics. Plus, you don't need a bloated live-action blockbuster for a Minecraft film to get attention, it's already the best-selling game of all time.

For the story, I'd mirror the average player's first experience with Minecraft by focusing on Steve finding himself alone in this vast, strange world. At-first he's focused on surviving through trial and error, then gradually he begins to wonder where he came from and what his purpose is. He explores the world seeking answers, and finally realizes that "purpose" is something he must give himself.

Just like life, Minecraft is a sandbox game where you must make your own fun.

By utilizing minimal dialogue, an ageless medium, and centring around the fundamental human angst of 'why are we here,' the film (just like the game) could have had a universal and timeless appeal.

Okay, ima need you guys to hear me out on this one. Images 2 and 3 (and maybe 4?) appear to be in the same scene, where Sonic looks sad and then angry as he announces that they need Eggman. Sonic seems pretty pissed, hopeless, and lost in this trailer as opposed to the previous ones where he was very quippy and comedic. Like I'm pretty sure image 5 is the angriest he's been in this trilogy. All we see from Tom is the heartfelt talk at the beginning and image 1, where he's screaming for Sonic. Hear me out: I think James Marsden dies in this one.

Secondary theory: Shadow steals Agent Stone's bike.

There's no way they'd kill Shadow in the movie for the same reason they brought him back after killing him in SA2 (he's too popular) but that just makes me worried he could get adopted by the Wachowski family which... yeah that would put a damper on movie!Sonadow.

I hope Shadow kinda just goes off on his own living wherever. Maybe he finds a little empty burrow in Green Hills that feels nice and cozy to stay in that definitely didn't belong to someone else at some point...

Since Sonic 3 is presumably the last time we’re gonna be seeing Robotnik in the movieverse (this is jim carreys last acting role since he’s retiring) I think they should just go all out and let Robotnik and Stone be openly in love. Have them make out on screen for a solid minute or two.
