UH well you see... nnnNNNNNOTTT inherently... but... well back in 2022 SonicHeritagePosts basically did a funny bit where they tried to make uh [checks notes] "Sonic for real justice 2", so a bunch of tumblr users joined with a tumblr url shaped like [sonic character]heritageposts, it became really... silly real quick, and it sorta both exploded and imploded, but after it was over, some of the mods... didn't just give up the url or left the blogs abandoned, we just... kept it going, making a silly server and eventually we decided "lets add lore to this", and, it became actual rp...

i personally got so caught up on it that, and because of irl stuff, I forget often to queue actual heritage posts to some of the blogs, since... their point *IS* to also work as actual heritage archives... but we're not exactly... the best at that sometimes... </3

I said to myself, there are no way I can find 6 characters I can relate to Hunter lmao. I am the fool. I manage to figure it out! I swear I'll make a ref sheet for Hunter lmao

Inspiration List:

Starved Eggman ( Sonic Creepypasta) Since I went through a huge pasta brainrot. I was watching through videos of what if Sonic went through what Starved Eggman did. But that what if expanded my brain and take that inspiration of Hunter's feral state and obsession with human flesh. So this fucker was the one that started it all of me creating Skyler's villain verse.

Paxton Fettel (F.E.A.R. Series) Another cannibal character theme whee and also there is a lot of hints of that unhinged personality depends on certain upcoming verses I am planning. But Paxton really inspires me from his feral attacks and just vibes of just at the edge of creep and insanity as Hunter gets slowly pushed into that direction. Again depending on which verse he falls into it's gonna get worse.

Jason Todd ( Behind the Red Hood/Batman.) Ironically I rp this character lmao. Honestly a lot of the spotify playlists of Todd gets me into the mood of writing Hunter as well. Also both are pretty relatable on the hostility and at the edge of unhinged and do whatever it takes to get what they want. Both are really tragic characters for their different reasons.

Steve (Fresh 2022 Horror Movie.) Can I stop picking villians with cannibalistic tendencies? Nah. Steve isn't over the top like Paxton, but he is at the right level of sounding like normal, but there is a sense of red flags going on. This character really inspired me to go deeper for Hunter and just dives into more ideas of make this muse even more miserable.

Nimona (Nimona Movie) God....I don't want to spoil this movie, but personality wise this is when Hunter gets more open to certain people, but a lot more gremlin. It's one of those you gotta work really hard to get to like him so far only one person did that so good luck fam!

Dustswap Sonic ( Dustswap FNF) Okay yeah Duster Ring is a banger song, but this Sonic design just made me scream that really gives me Hunter aesthetics. It's pretty close to what just needs a punk vest underneath. I was thinking that since he tends to hide away so him wearing a hoodie makes sense.

Didn't see your og post (timezones/work) but seeing your post about tumblr replies, a lot of people will not do that - tumblr can sometimes be a really 'negative' space where if someone makes a post and they have a reasonable size following, anyone who directly disagrees with them gets torn apart. I think that's why a lot of people will make passive aggressive posts or send asks to others who they think will disagree almost on their behalf. It's not a good thing but it's how it's come to be over the years sadly. But don't let it tear you down there are some great parts, keep persisting, some of us have been here years. I don't know who it is you'd like to follow from 03 or if you are yet but my fave is sassatello (if you need anyone cool to follow).

Yeah, Tumblr can be a pretty horrendous. My original run was from around 2011/2012 until around 2018/2019 when I migrated to Twitter because I had so many bad social experiences here, whether it was getting random anon hate in my inbox, elitists in the RP communities, or trolls being obnoxious in the tags of stuff I enjoy. Lo and behold, Twitter turned out to be just as bad if not worse and I ended up coming back here in November of 2022, just after Elon bought it. Most of my experiences since then have leaned more towards positive than negative, though I think that's because some features like muting tags/hiding posts and blocking blogs are actually effective now.

I just want to be able to have fun and interact with people, ya know? It's funny looking back and knowing as a kid I didn't like the 03 turtles (I was more interested in watching Winx Club and Sonic X on the 4Kids block, haha), but 20 years later I'm not only floored by how good the 03 series is, but extremely delighted to see that TMNT as a whole is alive and thriving, especially knowing how far it's come since its conception in the 80s. Definitely planning to watch both 2012 and RotTMNT at some point when the time and energy allows.

PS: I follow sassatello via my main! Absolutely adore all the 03 fanart (it's inspired me to work on learning how to draw the turtles, but adapting from my usual anime style to a more cartoon one is haaaaard * sobs *)

In 2022 in a stormy evening James was getting on his pc computer to play Roblox with his friends they were playing the rp game called Ronald town rp game made by the dev it was a pretty normal town but until then his friend was driving around the map and saw a gravestone next to the Roblox headquarters

The gravestone has a dead teenage boy’s name

Jake Elliott

1974-1997

He was buried underneath the Roblox headquarters

James: why is there a gravestone here

Aaron: maybe this kid died years before Roblox existed

They left the game in fear so James check his friend list on Roblox and see the strange account name Jake_404 the avatar has blonde hair, shark teeth, bloody tears and black eyes, he was wearing a torn shirt , jacket and pants was from the 90s

The bio that says I’m still trapped let me out

It’s like this 16 year old boy was trapped inside the website and all of the games James exit out of the game and play a different game on steam

The page appears on screen that shows the black screen with red text that said what are you doing

James sees his image of a boy dead on the ground while hiking with his friends back in 1997 that’s were he found the date was from

Jake was falling off the cliff and his friends ran away in fear and Jake’s parents found out that their son was found dead so Jake’s friends Simon and Kyle had to buried Jake somewhere that’s the same spot where the Roblox headquarters was built on top of him

A lot of players died irl and trapped within the website Jake trapped his friends and everyone else in the website and games

In 2006 James got bored of playing Mario n64 and sonic the hedgehog games on his console so

He got his family’s computer to play games on Roblox the blonde hair boy was standing in the dark void and cuts back to the normal website

All the to the present day 2022

James called one of his friends to log off the Roblox website and but Jake is still out there in the real world…..

Powerpuff Girls (2000-2003) :: this is on a lot of lists huh? Baby’s first steps on the internet and first look at fandom, made lots of OCs, jumpstarted my love for drawing and for cartoons

Sonic the Hedgehog (2003-2005) :: taught me to draw a little better since I could only draw like. PPG. again many OCs, loved to do art trades with other fans on deviantART

Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends (2004-2006) :: I used to RP a lot on oekaki boards with friends. ALSO made ten million OCs and had a ton of lore for them

Chowder / The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack (summer 2008) :: they go hand in hand but Flapjack especially introduced me to a lot of people, some I still talk to today. we spent a whole summer online together and it was my first big fandom experience I’d say

Adventure Time (spring 2010) :: early AT days only!! a lot of my Flapjack friends were still there and again we had such a wild time on iScribble when that was a thing. I met @mishacakes during this time!

Phineas and Ferb (summer 2010) :: this one like…launched my fame on deviantART lmao. I don’t know why. I guess the previous two fandoms helped but people went wild for my anime-esque PnF art lmao

Kick Buttowski: Suburban Daredevil (summer 2010-late 2012) :: uhh yea obviously this is the biggest one. met my best friend @agithahime and a bunch of others. Yes it’s a very small fandom at all times but I got to be a big name fan and honestly that was fun as hell. this show literally kept me alive in a bad time I will love it and the experiences that came with it for the rest of eternity

Invader ZIM (2001-2002, then 2005, then 2019 and on and off until 2022-2024 where it got the most intense LOL) :: welp the space bug has been with me a long fucking time. but it wasn’t influential (except for some early drawing inspo as a kid) until 2022 when I started interacting with the fandom for real. I really want to make a silly 'night of the 1000 grandkids' image with every single OC who is a future relative of Knuckles (ABSOLUTELY including fankid OC's including from Knuxouge, Soknux, etc) so if you have one, send them my way. I say 'grandkids', but just regular kids is great, too XD
