The Final Countdown (Europe)
We're leaving together, * But still it's farewell. * And maybe we'll come back * To Earth, who can tell?
Aftermath (Muse)
States are crumbling * Walls are rising high again * It's no place for the faint-hearted * But my heart is strong
Point of No Return (UNSECRET, ft. Sam Tinnesz)
Pins and needles, facing evil * When all lines are drawn * Screams of violence pierce the silence * Like a raven's claw
In The Passage (Dan Fogelberg)
There's a sound in the wind that blows * Through the wild mountain holds * Like the sighs of a thousand crying souls
Galaxies (Owl City)
Call back the cap com * Tick off the time bomb * Let felicity fly * Armor the air lock * Blanket the bed rock * And kiss the planet goodbye
Traveller in Time (Uriah Heep)
If I could go back the same way I got here * And see the people that I once held so near * I'd do my best to find an answer for you * But first I must wait 'til I'm set free
This Is War (Thirty Seconds to Mars)
It's the moment of truth, and the moment to lie, * The moment to live and the moment to die, * The moment to fight, the moment to fight, * To fight, to fight, to fight!
Something Wicked This Way Comes (James Warburton & Diana Haunts)
Fall down to your knees * Pray for sweet salvation * As the gloaming slowly creeps * Comes while you are sleeping * Until nothing's what it seems * There's nothing left to believe
End Of The World (Aphrodite's Child)
You should come with me to the end of the world * Without telling your parents and your friends * You know that you only need say a word * So end my play with the end of the world
Fire On the Mountain (Rob Thomas)
How do you sleep while the city's burning? * Where do you go when you can't go home? * How do you drink when there's blood in the water? * Where do you turn when the world moves on?

My favourite ADHD coping mechanisms that baffles and horrifies everyone I tell about it too is ‘see and hear morse code’ looped
This youtube video has gotten me through so many work days. Theres just something about asynchronous beeping layered with music and white noise and also sometimes distant siren ambience that keeps me seated at my desk on task! Is it pleasant? Absolutely not. But its effective. 10/10

Who am I dealing with in these discussions on the veterans' modernity? I agree, I really put a lot of different musicians in the category I talk of. I mean, Rick Springfield may have had an access to the similar venues as, say, Sting at one point, but this is where their similarities end. Still, his latest works, well, work. As I have said before – he's well aware he cannot achieve the heyday of his 80's, so he does his records for … fun, I guess? Look, nothing's really wrong with them, they are just there, yet you are not insulted. Actually, you have to admire him for doing his thing – the tune on the link shows he could be a great duet partner for a nu metal band –, though I do wish he would've let himself off the leash more, his dog would be fine with that.

Must be getting early * Clocks are running late * Paint by number morning sky looks so phony * Dawn is breaking everywhere * Light a candle, curse the glare * Draw the curtains, I don't care 'cause it's alright
Silent Running (On Dangerous Ground) (Mike + The Mechanics)
Take the children and yourself * And hide out in the cellar * By now the fighting will be close at hand * Don't believe the church and state * And everything they tell you * Believe in me, I'm with the high command

I just learned that the JP name of tide goes out is スミソアエの夜. Is there a pun here that I'm missing? why is it Vinagared Miso??? Very confused about it since トキメキ☆ボムラッシュ is pretty direct.
(スミソアエの夜=Night Dressed with Vinegared Miso)
I think its a reference to the firefly squids of Toyama bay.
Marie's JP name is Hotaru, in reference to hotaru ika, or firefly squid. on spring nights in Toyama bay, millions of firefly squids come up from the depths to breed, and people start dropping nets for some squid dinnar 🔥🔥🔥🔥
freshly caught firefly squid with a sauce of vinegared miso is a local specialty of Toyama. So catching firefly (hotaru) squids at night and putting vinegared miso sauce on them = スミソアエの夜 !
As for the english name, my best guess is that it has to do how with how the squid get very close to shore, and get washed up when....the tide goes out. It works considering the specific vinegared miso reference isnt well known outside of japan.

I guess you could have said the current works by those who were the popular members of whatever their scenes were depend on a musician's perception of oneself. For instance – Rick Springfield is removed from his heyday, though his latest records betray someone who appears to be more interesting than his past would've suggested. I mean, he does his own thing and he doesn't seem to give a damn about the reception of his modern pieces. While you shouldn't understand this as him going full Scott Walker – that would have been intriguing –, he does channel his own view into the latest music he makes. There's something incredibly laissez-faire about him at this point, he went into a pop version of Todd Rundgren, if I would dare to make a comparison.
