my blog title is indeed from superman (it's not easy) by five for fighting!! waiting for superman is another one i love though (i love most daughtry songs in general honestly!) but honestly, if it's a song about superman then i probably love it no matter who it's by because he's my first love and i am unhealthily obsessed with him even if i don't show it all the time haha

there were a solid couple years when i walked to school and i would take my moms ipod nano to listen to music and it was just full of assorted 2000s rock/grunge/alt rock/etc so thats what i would listen to every day lol it had a lot of daughtry, some theory of a deadman and three days grace, a lot of nickleback (which they got some bangers it just became cool to hate them), and then on the more pop rock end Marianas Trench and Hedley (and google just told me the lead singer went to jail for SA yikes 😬) man next time im at my moms i gotta go excavate that ipod and revive my old laptop w itunes to check it out 😂

also i totally meant to answer this yesterday but i got absolutely side tracked by thinking hey, superman (it's not easy) was totally in Zoom (2006) right? i wonder if theres a way to see all the movies a song has been used in.... and then i was lost down internet rabbit holes 😂 the song was indeed in Zoom tho! and looking at that movie soundtrack im like yeahhh absolutely tracks with my music tastes 😂😂

I don't have a specific style, but it's just very cozy with lots of pastels and fuzzy textures and blankets and pillows. There's a lot of random cute knickknacks too, like a set of shell windchimes I got at the beach last summer and some candles and a little statue of two cats.

First one up this time is "Waiting for Superman" by Daughtry. I got obsessed with it a while back and it ended up on a bunch of my playlists! I just really like the lyrics, they're kind of that "hurts in a good way" type and relatable at certain times. I also associate it with Spy X Family because I made an AMV with it a couple months ago!
