Professor Digory Kirke is delighted to tutor the Pevensie children for a term, he makes that very clear to their mother.

'Delightful children,' he calls them. 'A pleasure to associate with.' And he means it.

He learns them well in the months following their adventure in the wardrobe.

Peter's handwriting is quick, slanting, rounded, normally legible, unless he is in a true hurry, and then only his siblings can decipher it. His signature is always large and clear, and he does not need to look at the paper as he does it.

He loves history, adventure, languages. He is a delightful debating partner on the merits of battle strategy and treaties, by turns serious and merry. He spends hours with Fiona the driving mare, learns how to harness and hitch and drive, teaches himself to ride her bareback with a few bruises and scrapes. If he is struggling with a Greek translation or looking like he'd rather pitch his mathematics text out the window, the Professor learns to send him out for a run or a ride, to give him something vigorous to do with his hands. He likes to sing.

Susan's writing is smooth, graceful, slow loops, thoughtful. She cares about what it looks like, as much as what she's saying, and it is always readable.

She likes beautiful things, has an interest in paintings and art, gravitates to the romantic poets, and frets often about 'getting it right'. She is cautious, not one to attempt something unless she believes she can do it well. She enjoys helping Lucy when her little sister gets stuck on something, and she and Edmund linger over long deliberate games of chess that drive Peter to distraction.

Edmund writes quickly, but carefully, clear lines, a little squared off, as if he is accustomed to fitting what he wants to say into a precise space, and spelling mistakes are rare for him. He crosses his 't's in bold strokes, dots his 'i's with a little flick. He can write with either hand, but the Professor can't tell if it's natural or learned, and Edmund can't remember either.

He is a quick reader, good at memorization, picks up on the unspoken. Sharp eyed, and sharp tongued, but he's careful about it, or at least he tries to be. To him history is a tapestry to be unraveled, science and engineering are mysteries to be solved. He appreciates the precision of mathematics. He is clever, good at disappearing into the woodwork, good at listening, good at finding weakness and exploiting it. He and Peter tell tall tales of what they would do in the many battles they read about, bicker over games of chess, pass their work back and forth for the other's assessment.

Lucy, ah Lucy, she writes in a hurry, choppy, round, smudgey, hand never quite keeping up with her thoughts. She dots her 'i's with a circle, draws little pictures in the edges of her paper.

She learns swiftly, when it comes in story or song, when she can hear the voices of the ancient kings, or feel the tree bark, or taste the desert air. She loves the rhythm of words, memorizes poetry with a kind of hunger. She learns in spurts, reading about nothing but medicinal herbs for a week, and nothing but the wildlife of Africa the next. She sings hymns like a bird, dances with her brothers, gets annoyed by mathematics lessons. She's fascinated by mythology—Greek, Roman, Norse, Briton—and often begs the Professor to read them aloud; she says he has the best voice for it.

"Oh, yes, they are delightful," the Professor assures Mrs. Pevensie, when she comes for Christmas. "Quite extraordinary." And he smiles gently into her worn and worried face, presses her hand. "I have not had this much fun in years."

The snow outside covered the streets and the yard of the house, you looked over at the snowmans made the night prior under the freezing weather. Ellie's nose got so red it made you laugh but she refused to get inside before finishing two snowmans - drinking made her a little bit more stubborn. You just complied and helped her, doing some snow angels yourself later.

Now she was hugging you from behind, warm clothings and murmuring some Christmas song. You stretched on the bed, turning to hug her back and kiss her face over and over and receiving a grumble.

"Good morning, sweet girl", you said resting your cheek on her forehead.

"Morning, babe", she sounded sore due to the sleep, her hands around your waist under the clothes were comfortable as she cleared her throat. "Slept well?"

"With you here, yes I did", you pushed away some hair strands from her face, caressing the brown hair. "You seemed to sleep well too"

"Yeah, I guess all those Christmas songs and drinks got me."

The party was generally chill the night prior, but you both decided to go ahead and walk around with some friends, laughing and drinking. It ended up with a drunk Ellie trying to stand but failing very much, doing so many bad jokes and whining about snowmans. "They won't come to life because we don't have hats to put on them", she murmured when you both were getting inside. It was a busy night, but she enjoyed nevertheless.

"I'm pretty sure you cried because the snowmans wouldn't come to life", you remind, getting a small pinch on your waist that made you laugh.

"It's a secret!" Ellie said back, locking you inside her embrace.

"There's no shame darling, it's a pity they won't be alive this Christmas morning...!"

"Oh it's already Christmas morning!" Her green eyes widened, a smile growing on her lips. She was so precious. "Merry Christmas, babe", she kissed your face and neck calmly, spreading shivers through your body.

"Don't try to keep me in bed today, we have to get up", Ellie grumbled, rolling to top of you while you laughed. "C'mon, I'm hungry! I'll bite you!"

"Hey", the woman looked at you with that grin, the pun grin, and you was ready to what came next. "Don't be rude-dolph!"

"Oh, Lord!" She chuckled, giving more kisses on your neck while you laughed. "This is so bad. Why do I keep letting you do this?"

"Because you love me", her lips reached the skin of your abdomen when she pulled your shirt up and got lower, love biting your flesh and caressing your skin. She then bit your hips, touching your covered thighs. The covers were gradually falling from you both and the cool air soon reached your body. "And because you love my jokes"

"And who said that?" You smirked, hands covering hers as she continued to worship you while between your legs.

"Ahm..." Ellie looked up faking a reflective demeanor. "You"

"Hm. I don't remember that", you smirked, getting another bite in response. "Hey!"

"Come on", she then got up, stretching while you looked at her. Her belly appearing when she stretched the arms, patterned sweatpants. "I thought you were hungry." Ellie pulled you by the legs, dragging your hips to the edge of the mattress.

"Okay, okay, okay!" You shouted when she started to tickle your ribs, laughing and leaning over to blow you belly, making noises and more tickles. "Stop, you're ridiculous!" She loved to make you breathless, being from sex or simple playful times. How come this girl is so fucking silly, you thought once, realizing that it made you love her even more.

"Let's go baby, I wanna go to Joel's to open presents!"

The gifts were all in Joel's house, where you agreed to go in the morning. It was a tradition at this point and he really liked to see his daughter all happy and excited about opening gifts or seeing othe people finding out what she got them.

After you got up it the routine was calm, but you had to remind Ellie to not keep snuggling you all the time or you'd be late. She only agreed when you guaranteed to go shower with her. Dressing properly to that cold day, the walk to Joel's was filled with greetings to the neighbors and children - and even a quick snowball fight. By the time you arrived Tommy and Maria were already there.

"They're here!" Tommy said while you hugged him and then Maria.

"Did you got smaller, kiddo?" Joel asked when you hugged him.

"Why the hell this family keeps disrespecting me?!" Maria shook her head while sipping a drink, probably accustomed to that.

"I don't disrespect you!" Ellie almost sound offended, holding back a grin.

"Joel be careful, one of those days you can wake up and this girl will have disappeared", you murmured, being pulled by the waist by your girlfriend that gave you more kisses while she laughed.

"Let's just open this gifts before Ellie gets exposed", Tommy said.

The five of you seated near the fireplace, you on Ellie's lap, and the gifs exchange started. A song was playing in the background and the mood was light. Throughout the whole morning Ellie couldn't stop smiling, and that made your heart flutter a little bit.

At some point while she was drinking hot chocolate you got lost in her sight. Admiring her eyes and the freckles spread around her face, the little scars and the one that create a line on the eyebrow. The pretty lips, so warm when she kisses you, the brown hair that you loved to caress and that tickles your skin when she lays her face against your neck.

"I know I'm beautiful but you can aways take a picture to keep looking at me", she whispered to you, leaving a kiss on your shoulder. You just smirked, holding her chin between your fingers before pecking her lips.

"I love you so much", that got a timid smile from her. Ellie could always joke around and be as silly as she could, but in those intimate, almost secret moments a blush would grown in her face as she tried to not make so obvious how your words affected her.

"I love you too, babe", the woman held you closer.

"Hey, not on my watch, don't get all over each other!" Joel shouted playfully, making you both laugh and Ellie hold you even tighter.

"Deal with it, old man!" She snorted, making him shake his head and drink his bear.

"They grow up so fast", Maria laughed loud at this.

Guess I'll also rank all the Glee Christmas songs

I blame you, @thnxforknowingme. Although, I will switch it up a bit. First off, I am sober, second off, I am completely fucking ignoring Previously Unaired Christmas' songs (except for one) cause that entire episode is dead to me, and third off, I do want to rank the album ones as well cause I always listen to the albums.

I am also vaguely ranking them on song choice, quality of the performance, and simply whether I like it. This is very unprofessional and biased. It might not make sense.

Let's start with the two separate songs, that fall outside of the ranking.

Hounourable mention: Hanukkah, Oh Hanukkah - Glee, Actually

I also think it should kind of be its own thing, since it's not a Christmas song. It is catchy, though, and Puck and Jake sound great together. And it's nice of the show to acknowledge that there are characters who do not celebrate Christmas (looking at you, Rachel!) (I mean, Tina is also canonically Jewish, but she was never positioned as the big Christmas lover, like Rachel).

(Dis?)Honourable mention: Rocking Around the Christmas Tree - Previously Unaired Crisis

Aka, the only PUC song that I willingly listen. It's not the best song, but it is fun enough.

35. River - Extraordinary Merry Christmas

Boring. The only song that is basically an instant skip for me. It isn't even on my Glee Christmas Spotify playlist. I don't know why. It just doesn't do it for me. Even when I first heard it at the episode's FLF, it just felt like a big pot of meh. Add this to a storyline of Rachel just... showing off... and it's not my thing. Like, I know I shouldn't care about the storylines for these episodes, since it's all about album sales at the end of the day, but it doesn't make it any better.

34. God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen - A Very Glee Christmas (album)

This song is just kind of weird? But it's also just fine. I do like hearing everyone sing on this one. And is this the only time Dianna appears on the album?

33. Merry Christmas, Darling - AVGC

Huh. It almost seems like I have a vendetta against Rachel Christmas ballads. It's just also a bit meh to me and to be honest, I can't take it seriously cause I keep playing the SIMGM Finchel break-up scene in my head while listening to me. ("You said you'd never stop being friends with me!!!!" "I never thought you could make me feel like this." "NOOOOOO-" "Hey, town down the autotune." "Oh. Sorry. Nooooo.")

Yeah. My vendetta continues. I actually didn't realise it until this moment. I like it. It's just fine. But that's it. It's just fine.

Same here. It's just fine. Matt sounds great, but there isn't much to say.

And same here. Look, we've reached the section of "fine, just fine" songs. I am ranking them mostly on how much I like the voices at this point, cause at the end of the day, all are just fine.

Also just fine. This does that the benefit of having a touchy storyline attached to it.

Same here. Fine. Melissa sounds fine.

27. Do They Know It's Christmas - EMC

I am a sucker of group numbers and it sounds great, but yeah, the song itself is kind of questionable. I agree with Jenna that it's very white saviourism. As if people in Africa don't know the concept of Christmas exists.

26. You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch - AVGC

k.d. lang sings this as a special guest and it's never acknowledged it the episode. I don't have much to say, but I just find it genuinely funny and it fits the whole Sue the Grinch vibe.

25. Last Christmas - AVGC

This song fits the storyline but for inside-joke reasons, I cannot take any version of this song seriously. But it sounds nice and Lea and Cory sound great.

Another song that's just nice to listen to. It's better than the "just fine" category, but this one (and the next two) are also just in the same category of "I like listening to it, it's good, that's all I gotta say".

It's a nice opener. I think from all the openers, it's my least favourite, but it's just fun. I do prefer to listen to the episode version, mainly because I think Dianna sounds great in it. Like, I obviously also love Chris's voice, but Dianna's little additions are adorable.

Look, Glee made it a Christmas song, now. It's just very cute.

19. White Christmas - Glee, Actually

Yeah. Here is my big unpopular opinion. White Christmas just feels fine. The main reason it's not lower is because I am a Klainer 12. I think this duet just feels a bit unbalanced, as in, it's mostly Darren, so it's not really a duet. I do like the jazzy sound, but it's just nice.

18. Christmas Eve With You - EMC (album)

Yes, they wrote another original song that year. Honestly, this one is surprisingly good. Can't believe it made me care about Wemma for once, but Matt and Jayma sound really good together.

It does work in the story! That's the main reason I like it. It wraps up everything nicely. But apart from that, it's also just nice to listen to. It's really soothing.

Same for this one. It sounds nice. The chorus is great. That's it. Also, this song isn't on the album!

This one just makes me very happy. I also just dance along like they did in the episode. It is funny to me.

14. O Holy Night - AVGC (album), Swan Song

The triumphant return of the Rachel solo. Questionable storyline aside, I actually think Lea sounds really good here. It feels like this was the emotion she was aiming for with the other ballads. (But also... Rachel, you're Jewish.)

13. Happy Xmas (War Is Over) - Glee, Actually (album)

Ah. Cory's solo. After he died, this passed around with people freaking out about a "hidden Cory solo!", but no, it was just always on the album. He sounds really lovely here, together with the chorus in the back.

12. Santa Baby - EMC (album, cut from episode)

Naya sounds great and God, I wish they had kept it in, cause the performance is really well done as well.

11. Jingle Bells - AVGC (album)

Look, this is just a lot of fucking fun. I am a bitch for upbeat songs and this is just a bop. Like, the glee ladies had that dreadful ballad on this album, but the guys got to party.

10. Jingle Bell Rock - Glee, Actually

I just like this song in general and Chord sounds fun. The accompanying storyline was... weird, though, but it's season 4, everything was weird here.

9. Santa Claus Is Coming To Town - EMC

Sure. Why not. I like how Cory and Mark sound together and I really like the instrumentals of this song as well.

8. Let It Snow - EMC

This is just a lot of fun. Darren and Chris sound great on it and there's the nice instrumental and it's just jolly! And of course, I am a Klainer 12.

7. Christmas Wrapping - EMC

I unironically adore this song. Like, it objectively isn't the best song, which is partially because Hemo was never the strongest singer in the cast, but for some reason this one is really doing it for me.

6. Feliz Navidad - Glee, Actually

I am a sucker for Kevin's voice. It's weird. I know. But I think you need to see it as an intentional goofy thing. I always want to dance along to this one.

5. Extraordinary Merry Christmas - EMC

I vaguely recall Darren saying he dislikes this song, but I disagree. It's fun, it's upbeat, but it also doesn't sound like some trashy pop Christmas song (in my opinion) and Lea and Darren sound great together.

Now it's getting difficult. These four are just amazing.

4. Silent Night - Glee, Actually (album)

This is my favourite song of this album. I just remember being moved when I first heard it and that feeling has always sticked. I am usually not the person who likes ballads. I like the upbeat stuff more, which might've become apparent in this list, but this one just got me in the feels for some reason.

3. Deck the Rooftop - AVGC (album)

A mash-up! It's just a really good mash-up and it sounds like everyone is having fun while singing it. I think this is my underappreciated gem.

2. All I Want For Christmas - EMC

This song was made for Amber. She sounds so fucking good in it. It's also a great opener (even though we know it was supposed to be the closing number).

Baby, It's Cold Outside - AVGC

Come on. I am a Klainer 12, after all. But I think even without the Klainer aspect, this is just a really good cover, which is probably why stores still play it. And honestly, it's ballsy to have two men sing this universally known love song in 2010. They sound so good together, too.

Could you write a Brittana song fic based on "Baby It's Cold Outside" please?

How I wish we got to hear Brittana singing this to each other! So many missed opportunities for Brittana duets. This is set sometime during S3E09 - Extraordinary Merry Christmas. M-Rated but nothing too raunchy.

Santana had never been a big fan of Christmas but now that she was dating Brittany, she got swept up in the fun of it almost as much as her Christmas elf girlfriend. Brittany playfully chided her for taking bites out of the snowman-shaped cookies that had been freshly baked and placed on the Pierce family's kitchen table to cool while Lord Tubbington watched the two bakers with baleful eyes from the corner.

"Santana! You know those are for Santa."

"Sorry. I'm sure old fatso has had more than enough of these to last him a lifetime. Besides, I can't help it - your cookies are so tasty, Britt." Santana smirked, kissing Brittany on the cheek as she sneakily got behind her, wrapping her arms around the blonde's waist. Brittany smiled, dipping her head bashfully.

"Mmm, all thanks to someone's help," Brittany turned around in Santana's embrace to face her, adjusting the Santa hat she had placed on the darker girl's head. "Such a flatterer. I can't resist you when you're dressed like this."

Santana raised an eyebrow, as she never knew what to make of her girlfriend's odd attraction to her in a Mrs. Claus outfit but she didn't complain one bit because it got her plenty of sweet kisses and more. Their lips met and Brittany smiled into the kiss, which made Santana smile as well.

"You taste so good. Delicious."

"And you look so good in that apron..." Santana flirted, pulling Brittany closer by her hips as her voice dropped low and husky while she leaned in for another kiss. "I think it would look even better on your bedroom floor."

At that moment they were interrupted by Whitney and Pierce Pierce loudly moving into the kitchen, smirking when they saw the position the two were in. Santana's face turned a deep shade of red and Brittany giggled, her own face flushed as she pulled away from the kiss but remained in the embrace, not taking Santana's hands off of her.

It wasn't like it was anything new to the Pierces that Brittany was dating Santana now and they had walked in on the two girls so many times that Santana could barely look Whitney in the eye. There was no way to really erase the embarrassment of your girlfriend's parents catching you getting frisky with their little girl on the living room couch.

"Oh my! I hope we're not interrupting anything," Whitney chuckled, putting on her coat. "You two are just so cute. Dad and I are going out, since well... someone forgot it's Christmas and we have some last minute shopping to do. We trust you to hold down the fort when we're gone."

"Sure, Mom. You got it." Santana grinned at how breathless Brittany sounded when she answered her mother. Whitney winked at them.

"Have fun... but not too much fun!" The older blonde woman yelled as she grabbed a confused looking Pierce's arm and pulled him out to her car in the driveway. “We’re not ready for grandkids just yet.”

"Where were we?" Santana husked into Brittany's ear seductively when the parents had driven off finally. Brittany shivered at the hot breaths against her neck but tried to resist the temptation, putting her finger against Santana's full lips.

"Uh uh, Babe... not just yet. We still have presents to wrap."

"Hmm there's something else I'd like to unwrap instead..."

"Santana!" Brittany giggled, slapping her on the arm lightly. She moved away before she could give in to the temptation of kissing that dimpled, sexy smirk off of Santana's face. Her girlfriend was irresistible. She went over to put back some decorations on the tree that Lord Tubbington had knocked off for the hundredth time that morning.

“San - Sandtana, can you help me with my snowman?” Tiffany, Brittany’s six year-old little sister chose that moment to run into the kitchen from the front yard and Santana jumped away from her girlfriend who she was in the middle of kissing. “Ew you guys aren’t allow to kiss on the lips!”

Brittany and Santana laughed at the little blonde girl’s offended face and the way she still couldn’t pronounce the dark-haired girl’s name. Santana inwardly groaned but she couldn’t very well deny her girl’s cute little sister anything she wanted.

“Sure, Princess. We’ll build the best snowman ever.”

“Let her breathe, Tiff.” Brittany giggled, shaking her head as the already tall girl tugged on Santana sleeve, pulling her at full speed into the Pierce’s yard and sticking out her tongue at her big sister. Of course, that meant both Pierce girls and Santana spent what felt like a million years having a snowball fight when Tiffany had finished her snowman, the three of them laughing the entire time.

After they finished, they went inside for hot chocolate made by Brittany and the freckled blonde surprised Santana by grabbing the collar of her shirt, pulling her in close and kissing her softly. She pulled away after a few seconds, catching a confused Santana’s eye.

“You’re kissing?!” Tiffany shouted, scandalized but giggling.

“It’s mistletoe. We have to.” Brittany laughed, pointing at it overhead.

Santana didn't get to enjoy the Christmas gift she actually wanted - getting Brittany in bed for some alone time - as the blonde kept her busy with cooking up a storm and asking her for help with putting up some more lights outside the Pierce's house. Of course, Santana never refused but it made her a little grumpy that she didn't get any further than making out with the blonde while her parents were out. Tiffany being around only made it even more difficult to get up to any hanky panky with the hot blonde as they had to keep it G-rated.

"This is the best Christmas I've ever had. A million times better than the last one." Santana admitted as they sat around drinking some wine later in Brittany’s bedroom after dinner with the Pierces. She was lazily lying on her back on Brittany’s bed while the blonde sat perched on the edge. Her expression darkened as she thought of the depressing previous year when part of her thought she had lost the blonde for good. "You and Artie..."

"Oh, Santana. That could never even compare to us," Brittany kissed her reassuringly, climbing onto Santana's lap and leaning over her. “You know I always loved you the most.”

"Me too. What do you say we make this Christmas even more special, Beautiful?" Santana's smiled turned lustful, raising her eyebrows as she looked over Brittany's body. The blonde knew exactly what she was thinking and rolled her eyes with a giggle when the darker girl put her hands on her waist. Brittany heard the robotic meow tone that told her someone sent her a new text and pulled away from Santana, reaching over to pick up her pink flip phone that was on her bedside table.

“Who’s that?”

"Huh. The Glee Club invited us to their party tonight." Brittany said, reading the texts on her phone that were suddenly coming in. Santana’s mood darkened and she made a sound of annoyance, shaking her head. It was already seven and the last thing she wanted to do was go back out. Besides, there was something way better she could be doing.

“Kind of late notice and it’s not as if I want to spend my Christmas Eve with those tone deaf losers,” Santana muttered grumpily, crossing her arms behind her head as she lay back against Brittany’s pillow. “Don’t any of them have a life outside of Glee Club?”

“I don’t know San... maybe we should go. Mr. Schue is going and Rachel’s going to be singing.”

“Fuck Schue and Rachel! Who the hell cares about them? They can all go get stuffed up a chimney for all I care.”

The blonde couldn’t stop laughing at how infuriated her girlfriend was.

“What? I want you alone okay. We have plans.” Santana insisted, nipping Brittany’s ear and toying with the waistband of her tight jeans when the blonde moved closer.

“Oh really? What plans are those?” Brittany acted coy, batting her eyelashes.

“Plans for you and me, Babe. You know you want it.”

“I don’t know if we can do that... my parents and sister are just down the hall. Not to mention, what would Santa Claus think if he saw?”

“What? Britt, they’re not gonna know. To hell with the dumbass Glee Club and everyone else.”

Brittany smiled at Santana’s annoyance at the others. She knew how much Santana had been looking forward to getting her in the bedroom all day and teased her by singing a familiar tune.

I really can't stay

Santana’s lips curved upward at the sound of Brittany’s cute, clear and sweet voice. She joined in smoothly with her raspy, smoky voice and they went back and forth.

Brittany smirked coyly as Santana played along, singing in a low voice and practically chasing her around the bedroom whenever the blonde teasingly skipped away. It was all a pretense on Brittany’s part as the blonde had no real intention of leaving, nor was she as innocent as she was acting and they both knew it.

This evening has been (Been hoping that you'd drop in) So very nice (I'll hold your hands, they're just like ice) My mother will start to worry (Beautiful, what's your hurry?)

Brittany sat down on the bed and Santana slid in next to her, slipping an arm around her shoulders with a lustful look in her eyes. Brittany pretended to play hard to get, slipping away from the Latina yet again and going over to put on her jacket. Santana pouted when the blonde moved the Latina’s hand off of her ass and pulled away with an innocent smile.

My father will be pacing the floor (Listen to the fireplace roar) So, really, I'd better scurry (Beautiful, please don't hurry) But maybe just a half a drink more (Put some records on while I pour) The neighbors might think (Baby, it's bad out there) Say, what's in this drink? (No cab's to be had out there)

Brittany didn’t know how Santana managed it but before she knew it, her pink ugly sweater had been pulled off and the Latina got her back into bed, crawling up to kiss her. Brittany playfully put her hand on her face, pushing her away and Santana laughed as she lost her balance, falling off of the bed. She recovered from that and smoothly took Brittany into her arms, the tension increasing between them as their eyes drifted to each other’s lips. Brittany thought there was nothing sexier than the way Santana was trying to seduce her and singing in her low, smooth voice.

I wish I knew how (Your eyes are like starlight now) To break this spell (I'll take your hat, your hair looks swell) I ought to say, "No, no, no, sir" (Mind if I move in closer?) At least I'm gonna say that I tried (What's the sense of hurtin' my pride?)

Brittany gave her a quick peck on the lips and Santana grinned, obviously thinking she had “won” their game but then Brittany danced away once again, making it clear that the song wasn’t over. Santana was confused but followed along. 

I simply must go (But, baby, it's cold outside) The answer is no (But, baby, it's cold outside) Your welcome has been (How lucky that you dropped in) So nice and warm (Look out the window at the storm) My sister will be suspicious (Gosh your lips look delicious) My brother will be there at the door (Waves upon the tropical shore)

Brittany loved how persistent Santana was being and ever time the Latina came near her with those intense, almost black eyes filled with consumed lust or caressed her skin, the taller girl would shiver as she found it increasingly difficult not to give in to temptation. Santana smirked mischievously, knowing the effect her actions had on the girl.

You've really been grand (I thrill when you touch my hand) But don't you see? (How can you do this thing to me?) There's bound to be talk tomorrow (Think of my lifelong sorrow) At least there will be plenty implied (If you got pneumonia and died)

They sang the last part together perfectly, their voices harmonizing sweetly and by the time they were done they were both breathless. Santana kissed Brittany long and hard when she finally got the taller girl into bed after that, chasing any thoughts of the Glee Club, little sisters, candy canes, elves, sugar plums, Santa and anything else that could distract her from her head. Santana got both of their clothes off so fast that Brittany wondered whether she had some kind of super power.

“You like?” Brittany smirked, noticing the way Santana froze and stared at her body with interest with those ever so dark, lustful eyes when she noticed the new lacy, red lingerie she was wearing that she had never seen before. Apparently Brittany had been planning this all along as well, the little tease. “Merry Christmas, Babe. It’s all for you.”

The Latina glanced at Brittany’s bedroom door, making sure it was locked before stripping the lacy, silk fabric of the thong away, moving her hand and showing her girl exactly how much she appreciated her Christmas gift.

“Oh, oh, oh, Santana!”

“Shh, Sweetheart.” Santana chuckled against her skin, kissing her cheek as Brittany had to muffle her moans against her pillow, a pink flush working its way up her chest to stain her pale, cheeks prettily.

The blonde rested her head against Santana’s chest a few steamy love making sessions later as both of them were sweaty and sated. She closed her eyes, tracing a heart on Santana’s skin and smiled against her, feeling warm and cozy nestled against her girlfriend as the snow continued to fall heavily outside.

I rewatched Extraordinary Merry Christmas, the two deleted scenes and the bts videos in preparation for the next recap episode.

Rachel gives Finn a wish-list and is really pushing it.

Sue is volunteering at the Lima homeless shelter. She wants the glee club pitch in by giving the gift of song. (Blaine's first scene in Sue's office.)

The local station manager of Lima's PBS wants the Glee club to do a holiday special with Artie as director. Artie agrees and wants it to be inspired be The Star Wars Holiday Special and a hommage to the Judy Garland Christmas Show.

The taping of the show is at the same time as the Homeless shelter thing and only Sam and Quinn show up for that. The rest of the New Directions come later to the shelter, but only because their last number was cut.

Cringe moment: Sue: Wheels, Procelain, other gay.  Sue called Blaine later young Burt Reynolds which is more a compliment than an insult. In season six we learn Sue is a Klaine fan.

best song: It's an impossible choice. I can say that I'm happy Darren had 2 duets and  a part in My Favorite Things. And I want to mention that River is on his Christmas album.

best dance move: Christmas Wrapping

performance mvp: Chris, Darren, Lea and Amber in the Christmas Special. They all managed to talk and perform like this show was really from the 60's. (I'm pretty sure I heard Darren was watching Judy Garland Shows on YouTube as preparation.)
