OKAY SO HERE IS THE DEAL
NOIR is a nine-member boy group under Luk Factory
(Not really pleased with how they are promoting my boys but imma get over it one day!)
Our fan name is Lumiere (or Lumi) and we don’t have any official colors or a lightstick yet.
Noir debuted on April 9th of 2018. With the mini-album Twenty’s Noir. Their title debut song was Gansta (SUCHA GOOD VIDEO)
They also had a predebut song called As a Star and it makes me so soft.
Their next comeback is on the 27th (THIS MONDAY!!!!!!) The album is called Up the Sky and the title track is called Lucifer

● Name something you lost or gave away that can never be replaced. A lot of time wasted.  “I wasted my time...”   ● What 5 websites do you visit often, and why? Tumblr, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, and Pinterest.  ● Name a totally useless possession and how you came to acquire it. Some would consider knickknacks and collectibles and stuff useless, and I mean yeah they just sit on a shelf, but I like stuff like that.  ● What music album would be used for a movie about your life? I don’t know. ● List your bad habits and/or addictions and what you have tried to rid yourself of them. I got a lot of bad habits. As for addictions, caffeine and my pain medicine. I don’t abuse it, I take it as prescribed, but after so long your body develops a dependency. I remember several years ago I tried to cut out caffeine. It lasted a couple days, I think. haha. The headaches are no joke.
● If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be, and what would you do if later on you changed your mind? There’s a long list of things I’d want to change, but I mean if I could have good health (mentally and physically) that would make a big difference. I think some other changes would follow. I can’t imagine I’d ever change my mind about that. ● What are your religious beliefs? Have they changed, or have they always stayed the same? I’m a Christian now. Up until 4 years ago I was atheist and then agnostic.  ● When was your last food craving, and what did you crave? I’ve been wanting Doritos tacos from Taco Bell lately. ● Who was your first crush and what made them special? This kid named Philip when I was in 3rd grade. He was a grade or two above me. He and I were turning the jump rope for people during this event my elementary school had every year called, Jump Rope for Heart. It was to get people active and raise awareness. Anyway, he was across from me holding the other end of the rope and I just thought he was cute haha.  ● Name your most cherished childhood memory. I have a lot of those. I loved my childhood. It wasn’t without struggle or obstacles, but for some reason those things aren’t what stand out the most. I was a strong, resilient kid. Kid me would be so ashamed of how weak I am now. ● Turn to an entry in your journal or diary from a year or more ago. What has changed and what has stayed the same since then? I don’t feel like looking back on old surveys right now. ● What is one thing nobody knows about you because nobody ever cared to ask? Hmm. ● Robert Frost write a poem titled The Road Not Taken. Name a road you’ve always wanted to travel. Where do you hope it takes you, and what might you see on the way? Wait, literally or metaphorically? I mean, metaphorically I’d like to take the road that takes me to working on myself and leading to some happiness and success. That’d be nice.  ● Name one thing you always wanted to do, but haven’t. What has prevented you from doing it? Uhh there’s a lot of things. I feel like I’ve wasted so much time in my life each passing year. I’m just wasting away. I want to just...live. Travel more. Do something with my life. My physical health has been a contributing factor, but ultimately it’s me. It’s my mental health. That affects me more than anything else. ● Write about your first kiss. Was it everything you wished or hoped it would be? It happened behind the drama department at my high school. It unexpected and awkward, but it was my first kiss so it was all I knew. I was so giddy about having had my first kiss it didn’t matter haha. ● What was the worst mistake or decision you have ever made in life? What could you have done differently? Oh jeez. I have a lot of regrets. One that weighs heavily on me in recent years relates to my health. I’m very stubborn. I should have taken better care of myself. I should have neglected certain things. Some things don’t just go away, they get worse. And here I am, still not taking care of myself like I should be. Each passing year... ● What song was stuck in your head recently, and what were you doing at the time that made you think of it? I Love Me by Demi Lovato. I just really like the song.
● Write about something you now know that you wish you knew earlier in life. How could this knowledge have helped you? Just going back to the big thing that’s been weighing heavily on my mind these past few years that I talked about up there. ● Write about your greatest fear. Death, losing loved ones, never getting better/getting worse, and never doing anything with my life. ● Name one thing you feel brings out the good in people. Hmm. ● Describe a time in your life when everything turned out fine, despite the odds. I mean, there have been some times where things turned out to be not as bad as I thought they would be.  ● If you invented a device that could fix one problem you are facing right now, would you use it? What problem would you like to solve? I’ve talked about it enough.  ● Write about the last time you spoke to your best friend. What did you talk about? Last night when my mom got home from work. She was just telling me about stuff that happened at work and the latest Coronavirus news. It’s a wild time right now. All the cancellations of events, school campuses closing, and empty shelfs because people are stockpiling on hand sanitizer, face masks, and toilet paper. Italy is quarantined. I’ve never witnessed anything like this. ● Describe a time you felt alone. I feel that way a lot. I don’t spend a lot of time physically alone, but I still feel alone a lot. ● Name something you found; what was it and where did you find it? Uhh earlier I found a new ASMR channel on YouTube to watch haha. ● What’s on your calendar for tomorrow? I have a doctor appointment.  ● What is the most annoying sound you have ever heard? Eating sounds make my skin crawl.  ● Describe your first job. I’ve never had one.  ● What is the one thing you cannot live without? Besides oxygen, food, and water; my family. And coffee. That doesn’t get lumped into food or water, coffee gets its own honorable mention.  ● Quote the nicest thing anyone has ever said about you. Lane said I was strong, beautiful, brave, and rocked red hair like nobody’s business. :D ● Are you afraid of the dark? Why or why not? I can’t sleep if it’s completely dark or quiet, which is why I sleep with the TV on. I’d be scared if the electricity went out and it was dark if I was home alone. I wouldn’t go anywhere alone at night. Even with with someone I’m heightened alert. ● Describe the longest amount of time you have ever been away from home. A week. ● Write about a recent adventure or travels. I went to Disneyland for a few days last month. It was awesome. ● Who did you idolize growing up? My mom and grandma. And some celebrities at the time that were around my age like Hilary Duff. ● Name a celebrity or famous person you wish would take you out on a date. Alexander Skarsgard. ● Describe your daily routine when you get out of bed in the morning. Take my medicine, use the restroom, have coffee.  ● Name one thing you have always been good at doing. Jumping to the worst case scenarios. ● What is your favorite season, and why? Fall and winter. I love the weather, the clothes, the scents, the holidays, and just the coziness of it all. ● What was the title of the last book you read? I’m currently reading, “The Girl That Vanished” by A.J. Rivers. It’s the sequel to, “The Girl in Cabin 13.” ● List your biggest regrets. I talked about one of them already. That’s enough for today. ● Have you ever seen a ghost? No. ● Describe your note-taking style and habits. Bullet points, underlining, asterisks, and highlighting.  ● Do you believe that we are all here for a reason? What might the reason be? Yes. You have to figure that out for yourself, we all have a different purpose. I’m still trying to figure mine out. ● What comes to mind when someone uses the phrase prolonging the magic? I’ve never heard that phrase. ● Have you ever done something just to feel the danger, or to feel alive? Drinking, smoking weed, and taking a ride in a truck at night on a backroad at night near a levee. That was scary, but definitely an adrenaline rush.  ● What is your favorite cliché? Actions speak louder than words. ● What are all your thoughts on god? I believe in God.  ● How do rainy days make you feel? I love rainy days. I do the same things I do any other day, but it’s just cozy. The sound is relaxing. ● What is the most amount of money you have had at one time? A couple grand. ● Write a celebrity crush list. Alexander Skarsgard. ● What is the most amazing thing you have ever seen, heard, or experienced? I couldn’t pick just one thing. ● What effect does music have on you? It can perk me up, it can give me a little energy if I need to clean, it can make me sad, it can make me zone out, it can make me relax.  ● What did you learn today? What did you learn yesterday? Uhhh. ● What 5 traits do people first notice when they meet you for the first time? I’m sure the very first thing they notice is I’m in a wheelchair. Then probably how thin I am. Then perhaps my hair and my black rimmed glasses. Maybe my freckles. ● Have you ever carved your name or initials into a tree or stone? No. ● Does Never Never Land really exist? No, sadly.  “Cause Neverland is home, to lost boys like me...” ● Where is a great place to get breakfast? This local place that’s known more for their burgers, fries, and shakes, but actually have bomb breakfast, too. I love their country gravy. ● List 3 things that went right (or wrong) today. It’s only 2 in the morning, but so far I had ramen, I’m finishing up my Starbucks Doubleshot energy drink, and I’m watching/listening to an ASMR video. Not a bad start, but we’ll see how the rest of the day goes... I have a doctor appointment later that I’m not looking forward to. Afterwards my mom and I are going grocery shopping and I’ll probably pick up Wingstop on the way home. It’s been hot lately and I’ve had a nagging headache the past couple days, so I hope that isn’t the case today. ● What is the best method of travel, and in what ways have you traveled? Car and plane.  ● If you could give the world just one thing, what would it be? Peace. ● What were your best and worst subjects in school or college? English throughout school, with the addition of psychology in college. My worst was always math. I struggled with science, too. Philosophy was really fucking hard. ● Describe the most outrageous thing anyone has dared you to do. I haven't really been dared to do anything too outrageous.  ● Ice cream: chocolate, vanilla, or strawberry? Strawberry, but vanilla is good as well.  ● What historical events happened the year you were born? Ted Bundy was electrocuted.  ● Pick up a random object that has special meaning to you and describe it in as much detail as possible. I’m on my bed and there’s 2 giraffe stuffed animals, one is a big squishy one. I love all my giraffe stuffed animals, which there are a LOT of. ● Write about a recent visit to a museum or art gallery. I visited a Walt Disney museum a couple years ago. It was really cool. ● What food items do you consider staples in a well-balanced diet? I’m the wrong person to ask about well balanced diets. Well balanced for me is Wingstop, ramen, this pizza from my favorite local pizza place, scrambled eggs, and coffee. haha. ● Describe your feelings in regards to an issue in todays society, and what would be done to fix it. I talked about the coronavirus, which is a big issue and hot topic currently, and my feelings to it already. ● If you had only one wish, what would you wish for? Cures for all diseases. ● If you could tell the world just one thing, what would you say? Wash your hands!  ● Share a dirty little secret about yourself (or someone else). Nah. ● Have you ever gone skinny dipping? Noooo. ● Name something you would like to devote more time to seeing or doing. I need to devote time to taking care of myself and taking some necessary steps. ● What is the name of your favorite book, magazine, or publication? I have too many favorite books. ● Describe your first car. I’ve never had my own car. I don’t drive. ● Thunderstorms… Inspiring or scary? I love them.

music: never loved interview
Never Loved Interview--Toronto, ON In the final stretch of their summer tour supporting Like Pacific and Sleep On It, I sat down to enjoy a cup of coffee in the beautiful city of Toronto with Florida rockers, Never Loved-- comprised of Cameron Knopp (vocals, guitar), Kevin Blackburn (drums), and Jay Gayoso (Bass) to chat about aliens, their favorite menu items from Taco Bell, and what’s next on the horizon for the group after a hectic and successful 2019. I’m a big fan of icebreakers, and I feel one of the best ways to get to know someone quickly is to find out what they’ve been listening to--what have you guys been listening to most recently?
Cameron Knopp: “I was about to listen to the new Drake album that came out today, but I didn’t get a chance to.”
Kevin Blackburn: “I think he knew we were in the six, in Toronto, and he was like ‘Yo, we need to drop an album for Kevin and Camm.’ Jay doesn’t like Drake that much.”
C: “I’ll pull up my Spotify and look up the last played thing. The new Cage the Elephant record, actually.”
Jay Gayoso: “I was listening to Venetian Snares.”
K: “I’d say my number one most played artist for the past couple months has probably been Daniel Caesar.”
What do you listen to on your drives?
C: “I’ll make a playlist of stuff that I really like, and once I get sick of that I’ll chart into old playlists I used to have. [I’ll] chart into bands--not on this tour specifically, but on other tours we’ve done, there’s been local bands that have played the shows, so I’ll check them out. We bounce around from rap, to pop punk, to alternative rock, to pop, to Taylor Swift..”
What has the experience on this tour been like for you guys compared to other tours you’ve done?
C: “Incredible, actually. The first tour that we did we only had one song out, so no one really knew us. Second tour, which was with In Her Own Words on the west coast, we released our EP the day of the first show on that tour. So again, no one really knew us, but as that tour picked up towards the last few days, we had some kids come out who knew us. We took a week off and went to the east coast, where we met up with another tour, and on that one kids were coming out that knew who we were after only a few weeks [of the EP being released]. This tour has been incredible because the EP’s been out for about three months now, and we just released a new song before this tour, so we’ve had a lot of kids coming out who knew who we were, knew the words, so it’s been really awesome seeing that and seeing where its going.”
K: “It’s also fun playing new songs, and meeting new people, and going to new countries like Canada, shit’s crazy! I’d say this is probably the most fun I’ve had on any of the tours, because I feel like we’re getting more into a rhythm and we’re kinda getting the hang of it you could say. It’s been a lot of fun! That new song that you guys put out right before this tour--there was a lot of blow-up aliens involved in the music video, and I’ve noticed it’s been a theme at some of your shows as well. There has to be a story there--where did that come from?
C: “So, the aliens are more of a metaphor in that song. That song talks about a few different things, but mainly feeling out of place in certain situations and moments. The aliens represent [that]--they’re out of place, on a different planet. Then, we just figured ‘Hey, why don’t we bring one and throw him in the crowd for some shows?’--and it’s actually been pretty fun. He’s been beaten up a little bit--”
K: Paul’s (the blow up alien in question) been going hard, he’s gotten tatted up, he’s stage diving, crowdsurfing--”
C: “We only bring him out for some shows that are maybe bigger venues, the few shows he has gotten brought out to he’s been taking a beating, so we don’t want to have him die.”
What’s been your favorite song to play live this tour?
K: “I would say I really like playing the new one because it’s fresh and new. Even sometimes when we play it I still get anxious, because it’s like oh shit, we’ve only played this song like maybe 10 times total live, so it’s one of those things where I’m nervous to do it, but as soon as we start it I feel good about it.”
C: “The obvious is probably ‘Goddamn’, for me it’s because everyone knows that song...it’s really fun singing it with everyone in the front row, second row, but that set aside, I would say “Gone”, because of the circle pits; it’s one of the more under the radar songs we have, and it’s really fun to play live, it’s very high energy.”
Any standout moments from creating and recording your EP?
C:"Just when it was released, in all honesty. It took us a long time, it was a lot of work, there were some songs that didn't make the cut that we really wanted on there... it's just a long process. A lot went into it...each song was written at different times, so when it actually came out it was nice, because at some points it felt like 'Is this thing gonna come out or not?' It was a long road-- even though it's brand new, there was a lot of behind the scenes that went into it." With you guys being newer faces in the scene, what do you want people who aren’t familiar with your band to know about you and your music?
K: “That this is real. We want to have a good time, we want other people to have a good time and feel like they’re not alone.”
C: “We’re all gonna have shitty days and some tough times, but it’s just temporary. There’s peaks and valleys and we all go through it and I think our songs kind of highlight that. If you listen to that, hopefully it helps the rough days feel a little bit better, and show that there's light at the end of the tunnel."
What are some bands you'd like to tour with in the future?
C: "Super Whatevr would be really cool. I like IDKHOW a lot, Cage the Elephant would be really cool, Dreamers would be sick."  K: "I would like to do something in a different realm almost, kinda like the whole Lil Wayne x Blink-182 Tour--not on that scale, obviously. I think it would be tight to do something with somebody that's way out of left field, that way we get different crowds, but everybody's there for the same reason, to have a good time, so I think that would be cool. No specific artist for me, just a rapper or an indie band would be tight."
What are your goals for the rest of this year, personally, musically, in any sense? What's next for you guys?
K: "Hopefully we'll start working on new music pretty soon, hopefully hitting the road again, hopefully coming back to Canada, because it's a good time up here. Playing shows, making new music, doing what we do best."
C: "I'll rip the bandaid off; there's another tour being announced and a new song coming out as well. Personally--the song that is coming out before the end of the year--is my favorite one that we have in our catalog, at least out of [what's currently released]. There is a full album, too, that's gonna be worked on. I think for us we just wanna close out the year strong--it's been a very, very, very big year for us. In January, we only had one song out and no one knew who we were, and from that time until now, we've toured the full US, we've gotten to release some sick songs, and I think we've really cultivated a nice foundation--shoutout to JALAPENO GANG (referring to the group’s fans)-- we're excited. "
K: "I will put it out there that when I first heard all the songs-- when I first met Camm and Jay, Camm showed me all the songs in his Volkswagen. He showed me all the songs that were gonna be on the EP, then he showed me some other ones that he was thinking about putting on the EP but didn't make it, or that he wanted to release later--the one that's coming out in the fall, from day 1 that's been my absolute favorite song. Disclaimer, it's not 'Autumn'-- it's, in my opinion, probably the best stuff that I've ever heard come out of Camm. It's the only song that I would listen to [while] not trying to learn it. I would literally sit there and just listen to that song because I liked it.
C: “What he’s saying is he hates the rest of our songs.”
K:”No! Usually when I listen to the songs it’s like ‘oh I have to learn this part, this is this drum part, I have to remember this and that’, but with this song.. it's a bop, let's put it that way."
I wanted to ask you about 'Dead Inside'--the song deals with being stuck in a routine, tell me more about what inspired it and where you are now versus when you wrote it.
C: "That song was actually written before Never Loved was a band, before it was even an idea, before..anything. It was written at a time where I was just coming out of [being in] other bands, and was writing music just to write music. I wasn't writing music exactly like that at the time, it was a little bit more mellow. That song was just me kind of not having any qualms, and letting whatever comes out come out. That was a very tough time, because I had really no idea what the game plan was or what was gonna happen next, or what I was gonna do with all this material I was working on. Ironically enough, when I went to go work with our producer--shoutout to [Matt] Squire, he's awesome-- we were going through demos and that song was on the back burner, I never even really thought anything of it, and that was the first song he picked where he was like 'You've gotta do this song.' So, where I'm at now versus where I was then-- [it's a] night and day difference. I mean, it's incredible how far we've come, even just from the start of this year to now. So, at the end of the day I think you're always going to have those battles. No matter what phase you're at, there's always gonna be something that'll power you through."
I've got some fun short-answer questions for you to finish up with, starting with: What's one song you can rage to no matter what?
K: "For me personally, 'September' by Earth, Wind, and Fire."
C: "’Legend Has It' by Run the Jewels." What’s your favorite thing to do when you’re not doing music?
C: “Watch Hockey.”
K: “Look at Luka,” Blackburn shared with a giggle as tour mate, Luka Fischman (Sleep On It, drums) wandered into the coffee house. “If I’m not playing music, I would still just like to be playing drums, but I don’t know if that counts. Hanging out with my dog.”
What’s your favorite place to eat when you’re on the road?
J: “Taco Bell! Favorite place to eat? Dude, that’s where we eat the most!”
C: “It’s hard to tell because I don’t wanna eat at the same place in different cities, I try to get out and explore and see what each city has to offer, but if I had to default to a chain that’s like ‘Ok, I’m gonna eat this and I’m good for the day’, it’s probably Chipotle.”
K: “I really like Taco Bell. It’s cheap--”
J:”--I like Taco Bell better than Chipotle.”
K:”--If you get the right stuff, it’s not that bad of quality, so I would say Taco Bell for me.”
What do you get at Taco Bell?
K: “Shredded Chicken Burrito. I think that’s a little bit more real than anything else they have on the menu, and it’s pretty basic. It’s cheap, it’s good--that’s all that really counts for me.”
If you could jam with any musician for a day, dead or alive, who would it be and why?
K: “I’d have to go with [Dave] Grohl. Because the thing is with Grohl is, he be playin’ sick riffs, but then he’d also sit down behind the kit and show me a thing or two. Plus, I would like to pick his brain, and just ask him like, ‘how are you..you?’”
C: “Honestly, I wouldn’t. I know it’s a weird question, but I think there’s this facade, when you look at these musicians you idolize and look up to-- I don’t want to possibly jam with them and ruin that image that I have of them.”
J: “Y’know, the person I’d like to jam with is Kevin, because I can play a bass riff for like 3 hours and he’ll just play drums to it.”
K: “Aw I love you Jay, that was so sweet.”
J: “We actually did that.”
K: “We actually did do that. He played--What was the bass-line? Express yourself by N.W.A, he was playing that bass line and I was just laying down a simple groove for like an hour, two hours straight. It’s a good time.”
Tongue Tied has a signature question that we close every interview with, which is, If you had to describe your music to a deaf person, how would you describe it?
C: “Resilient.”
K: “I would say spicy. Spicy and resilient.”

Day 06 - Shopping, Take II
TLDR: Change of plan from Volcano Bay, due to its alarming popularity we ended up on a pool/shopping day. Kids loved the pool and didn't want to leave. At the shopping malls, the kids spent more of their money with Gracie getting 2 out of 3 if the things she planned to buy - result! Ann & Myself never really bought anything, so the five full bags of kids toys went to the car for the lift home. Decided on Golden Corral buffet for dinner, just us and the folks - wasn't disappointed. Rolled home. Hatched a hatchimal.
Change Of Plans...
So I explained yesterday that we found out Volcano Bay, Universal's new water park, was VERY BUSY, and it was at capacity most days at opening. We had this park on the schedule today, but with it being full in the morning and it scheduled to rain in the afternoon, we decided to scrap the plan and do our own things instead.  Well have to wait for a good day and maybe hit the park in the afternoon for our best chance at it. As it was pretty much a free day, we allowed ourselves and the kids to sleep a little later. Our first proper trip to the hotel pool was long overdue, so once everyone was up and ready, we headed off for a swim with very happy kids. The kids absolutely love the water and after some swimming practice (, cannonballs, underwater antics and chilling by the pool-side, we decided it would be good day for shopping, especially if it was likely to rain later in the day. Here are some snaps from the GoPro which is yet to be utilized to its fullest, so will need to try harder.

Shopping, again!
We'd seen a Toys R Us on our way to Best Buy the other day, so headed back to the same shopping mall to spend a few hours this time. We hadn't had any breakfast yet, so pretty much bypassed all the shops on the way to the Food Court. There was pretty much every type of food available, but we had set our sights on Taco Bell, which was our fast food guilty pleasure from last time. We loaded up on burritos, tacos & nachos (with the exception of Robert, who went for a foot long Subway - which was his first one and was pretty stoked about it). I’m not sure if it was tiredness, but Ann tried to pay with our hotel room key card - LOL - unfortunately were not that technologically advanced yet... :P
We mostly hit shops for the kids, including Disney, Gamestop (3 different ones) and the aforementioned Toys R Us, though we did manage to pick up a few gifts for people along the way. Grace, who had here heart set on ANOTHER Hatchimal and a Furby, got both, with the Hatchimal being a rarer Draggle type (according to her, she is very knowledge about that kind of thing I led to believe). She was really really happy and couldn't wait to get home. Robert settled on Pokemon cards for the most part, and Patrick was a little more reserved. I did get a cool Star Wars Decal for the car back home so now everyone will know we a geeky family! :P
Heading back to the car, via the restaurants, Gracie recalled my promise of getting her some sushi (y'know one of those promises to kids, where you dont actually have any intention of doing the thing in the hope that theyll forget about it). Oh well, a 'promise' is a promise I suppose. So she picks a seafood platter (obvs) and the next thing I know she's sitting down with chopsticks in hand, ready to tuck in. I said she could probably just pick them up with her hands and she didnt need to struggle with the chopsticks. She just shook her head and began eating away, as if she'd been using them all her life. We were all staring in amazement at this wee 6 year old, masterfully wielding two bamboo sticks to eat her lunch. Now, we dont actually eat that much sushi (save for me and P), and I think we've used chopsticks once, through our make you own sushi phase - so Im bewildered where she has picked this up. Watching too much Kung fu Panda, maybe?
Last stop before home is Walmart to get a few essentials and it is here where we were enlightened by Patricks Fun Fact Of The Day. And with this, Ill give you an example of how Patrick Fun Facts come about. We were in Walmart, walking past the freezer isle and see ice lollies. One brand which are called popsicles, to which he responds out of the blue:
Y'know the Popsicle was invented by an 11yr old called Frank Epperson? When he was wee, he put a stick in a can of soda and left it overnight.  He called them Eppsicles but when his kids came along, they began to call them Pops' sicles and the name stuck...
And this happen at least once every single day. We'll just be blethering about something and Patrick will pipe in with his wee Fact and then carry on as if nothing happened, its really funny and astounding at the same time.
Dinner, dinner, dinner, dinner... BATMAN!
We'd planned dinner for Golden Corral, a buffet place (or rather palace), and were joined by my mum and dad. The other guys had had a later lunch so weren't ready for a full on buffet yet. It was just as awesome as I remember, but I have to call particular attention to the Steaks, these things were absolutely massive!!! Ill pop a pic of some of the *smaller* ones I managed to snap below, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen steaks so big. And they just go and cook them to order for you right there and then, its brilliant!

I did also manage to grab my first dessert here - Pumpkin pie, which is one of my absolute favorites but don’t normally get to eat it because well I don’t live in America. Everyone was satisfied from starter to dessert including little Gracie who still seemed to have a passion for chocolate covered strawberries...

And now tonight...
Tumblr media
We noted the time in the UK had turned midnight as we finished up which marked the official time for Patrick’s birthday (not when everything turned back to a pumpkin. though wont be fully celebrated here in until tomorrow). He was pretty content and was now really looking forward to tomorrow :) On our road home (to apparently hatch a Draggle, dont ask), we were treated to a rendition of of the song 7 years, performed by Grace Gaffney (originally by Danish pop group, Lukas Graham). Its here song of the holiday and shes been practicing ever since we got here. I’m pretty sure she'll have this perfected by the end of the three weeks and Ill likely have a video of the finale performance for your pleasure. Watch this space.
Tomorrow Universal Studios and more importantly the not so wee Patrick officially turns 11. Eeek.
