If when johnny and kenshi met they definitely hated each others gut, I feel in the scenario when sonya and suchin meet they should get along like immediately.

It’s definitely a situation of “matching each other’s freak” and it is shocking because both are the type of people who have so many trust issues it’s hard for them to like easily get along with people, but they click immediately.

I feel it would be in the situation they are chasing the same enemy (black dragon probably) and they are on way opposite sides (sonya and the OIA, the legal way and suchin from a way less legal way) but they already have too much shit going on to add another enemy, so they kinda go “the enemy of my enemy is my friend” route and it works out so well.

suchin admires sonya’s no bs attitude and leadership skills and sonya admired suchin’s fighting skills and quick thinking in kombat

And they both think the other is sooo hot

The mythical continent of Mu, possibly the inspiration for the various mysterious histories in One Piece?

Crediting this tweet that highlighted that Imu uses "Mu" as self-pronoun, because it's what led me to run down the rabbit hole.

I use the fan-translation because the official only says "I". This is not "mu", but "muu" (with a long "u" sound).

This could mean a lot of things since it's katakana and not a kanji, but ムー is the Japanese spelling of the Atlantis-like mythical continent of Mu. ムー大陸 Muu Tairiku, to be precise (is this related to the Riku royal family name in Dressrosa?).

You can go ahead and read the Wiki page for yourself, but the brief description:

In our journey westward across the Atlantic we shall pass in sight of that spot where once existed the pride and life of the ocean, the Land of Mu, which, at the epoch that we have been considering, had not yet been visited by the wrath of Human, that lord of volcanic fires to whose fury it afterward fell a victim. The description of that land given to Solon by Sonchis, priest at Sais; its destruction by earthquakes, and submergence, recorded by Plato in his Timaeus, have been told and retold so many times that it is useless to encumber these pages with a repetition of it.

Some people says Mu is the same place as Atlantis itself, and so on. We do have a mysterious missing history being a running theme in One Piece too... I think there's a pretty large chance that the legend of Mu is used as inspiration in One Piece.

I looked up what has Japanese people written about this, what I read in this Japanese site seemingly relates to some of the One Piece plot points:

The people of Mu has technology more advanced than modern civilisation --> The mysteriously advanced robot that Dr Vegapunk has

The people of Mu's national symbol is the sun --> Sun god Nika

The land of Mu was struck by disaster and vanished in an instant, leaving everything about the land still a mystery to this day --> The 100 years missing history

The king of Mu, La Mu, is seen as the manifestation of the supreme god on Earth --> Imu? Or something else we haven't seen.

Plato described Atlantis as alternating rings of sea and land. with a palace in the center 'bull's eye'. The Capitol of Atlantis Timaeus begins with an introduction, followed by an account of the creations and structure of the universe and ancient civilizations. In the introduction, Socrates muses on the perfect society (as described in Plato's Republic) and wonders if he and his guests could come up with a story which puts this society into action. Nas folhas mais velhas, há distorção do limbo, bolhosidades, rugosidades, e o mosaico apresenta alternâncias do verde com o amarelo. Já os frutos apresentam-se deformados, rugosos e com redução de tamanho, além do endurecimento no albedo (parte branca interna da casca), que se torna espesso e com baixo rendimento de polpa, tornando-o impróprio para o comércio.
