How I feel about this character

Long before I made the questionable decision of getting into Marvel, I talked about it with one of my former clients. Who, while popculturally very aware, was Not a fandom girly. And this grown ass man looked me straight in the eye and went "Oh you're gonna love Tony Stark a ridiculous amount. You stand no goddamn chance."

Suffice to say, he was right. He's a disaster he's an asshole he's kind he's a lil cunt he cares too much he carries the weight of the world on his shoulders he's a genius he's a fucking idiot he made all the wrong choices he's never done anything wrong ever in his life. he IS the moment. and so on and so forth (<- biting biting biting)

My unpopular opinion about this character

I don't think it's overly unpopular but he does sometimes get the "self-loathing as anxiety" treatment that I just find flat and boring. Like yes he kind of hates himself, no he wouldn't turn into a blushing uwu baby about it. That's a grown-ass man of questionable morality with a self-destructive saviour complex. Like.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

I have beef with the MCU about a lot of things but generally speaking and in the broad sense I did really like Tony's whole arc tbh. I do wish he and Steve had got to hatefuck at least once though, of course. On screen. As a treat for me 😌

From that moment on, Garreth becomes (sometimes embarrassingly) outspoken of his love for her.

Valentine's POV: The moment she knew she had feelings for him was when she was caught off guard that Garreth was actually a good listener. Yes, he's always goofy and all that. This probably isn't surprising at all, but I love Fushiita!!! Something about stoic guys melting and being affectionate with bright, kind, mischievous boyfriends just tickles me yk

2. Nobamaki

A strong upperclassman who watches her cheeky, abrasive underclassman with fondness and interest-- there's more to their relationship that I like of course, their connection as 'the girls' that draws them closer, Nobara's instant respect and softness in regards to Maki, and how protective she becomes of her at the exchange event. I like to think Maki is protective towards her in a different but no less meaningful way. Protectiveness is one of my favourite tropes-- ik it's cheesy but it is!!!

3. Chosoyuki

Now, these two man... These two... I just love how she's so confident and outspoken, and how she saw Choso and went 'yeah. That one.' -- I loved their little date, even if he cried ((LOVE a good pathetic man)), and how she made him think differently about himself and his situation.

4. Satosugu

The soulmatery of these 2... The homosexuality of these 2..... They're unmated. A real Sasunaru descendant.

5. InuIta

I wasn't that into them, to be honest, but my friends and I quote that 'Inumaki-senpai! Shake!' scene in s2 all of the time. Eventually, I started to think of them as kind of cute, and then I tried writing them and found Inumaki is a really fun character to write! I love his mischievousness and dedication to protecting his friends (relegated to a life of speaking solely in onigiri ingredients... nah that's probably one of the perks for him).

JJK BrOTP

It's GOTTA be Nobara and Yuuji. The friendship between these two is awesome, I love how she started out thinking of him as an idiot, and then got to know him and realised that yeah he's an idiot, but he's also a little bit fun to have around sometimes. Nah jk, I love how they're 2 peas in a pod, both crazy, both from the countryside, both just as silly as each other. I really love watching them hang out in the few eps we get of that, and the juju strolls they're both in-- they're just awesome!

Kagehina Height difference, moody x cheerful, sunrise x shadow mountain-- names with symbolism but also it's the sunrise that puts the shadow on the mountain and I say all that^^ but the second Atsumu appeared on screen...... IM A DISLOYAL PERSON!!! And the reunion?? "Tobio-chan!! Don't talk to my spiker like that :)" WHEN I TELL YOU I ALMOST CHOKED ON MY SCREAM...

OH OKAY UM

The thing is that I rarely ship romantically. Like, at all. There's a small number of ships that I'll always ship (and/or have been for decades) and the rest is tiers of "yeah, that's nice" to "eh, apathetic" to notps. So... I guess?? In vaguely order of current rotation in my brain, kebab-style??

Pike Trickfoot/Scanlan Shorthalt (Critical Role, Vox Machina campaign/The Legend of Vox Machina) My heart, my soul, my liver. I love them with a determination inversely proportional to the small place they seem to have in the fandom. It's a relationship that evolves over time (slow burn? do you slow burn?) because the individuals evolve over time. Character development first, relationship development second! And there's hesitation, and Fucking Up, and so much love and hand-holding/taking before both seriously consider the other as a romantic partner/equal (as opposed to on a pedestal). Also they're pure chaos separately as well as together and I respect that.

Evelyn Carnahan/Rick O'Connell (The Mummy films) Speaking of chaos! And love! And respect and growth! I've loved them since 1999 and even more since 2001's The Mummy Returns gave us battle marrieds who support each other and clearly can't keep their hands off each other. They perfectly complement one another, they build up each other's strength, they have inside jokes, and they love one another so much they constantly annoy their brother(-in-law) and kid. Those films are my comfort food. Also very pretty and nice/fun to draw.

Reginald Jeeves/Bertram Wooster (P. G. Wodehouse's Jeeves short stories/Jeeves & Wooster) We're leaving canon and entering fanon and what a fanon, ladies and gentlefolk. Over 100 years old and in love with rapier wit, art deco, and smart men and their (not quite) idiots. The thing with this ship is that it should be entirely unbalanced: Bertie is Jeeves' employer and above him in social status. Bertie should have all the power, and Jeeves none. But Wodehouse excels at showing us how much that isn't true, because Jeeves is very, very smart, and Bertie, while the smartest of his social circle (...yes, really) and as pure of heart as he is dumb of ass, relies on him 100% (and is basically the Jack Black pointing meme. He loves his manservant SO MUCH). I love a loveable idiot with a dose of self-awareness and self-esteem issues and an unflappable brain going "...ah. yes. unfortunately that is my idiot."

Chel/Tulio/Miguel (The Road to El Dorado) Come on, I HAD to sneak in an OT3 :3 I shipped them before I even really knew what shipping was. I love me an OT3, and this is a perfect example. You start with a dreamer with Determination (all open heart and sunshine) and an insecure flamboyant conman who is very good at lying (especially to himself) who would die for each other a thousand times, and you add a jaded cynic stifled by her environment who sleeps with (and catches feelings for) one and gets on well with the other and BAM, perfect recipe! Because Tulio and Miguel are ride or die for each other and I don't see that changing with Chel in the picture! ANYWAY. Love them and only want good for them.

Scrooge McDuck/"Glittering" Goldie O'Gilt (Carl Barks and Don Rosa Disney Ducks comics) Ooooh them. I have a soft spot for asshole pairings, and they deliver. Reading The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck (and other comics) really bring into focus all the might have beens and the missed opportunities either by way of fate or one or both of them being dumbasses. They can't live with each other, they are 100% incompatible, but also they carry each other's heart and they will probably never love anyone else That way. Will they get a happy ending? I don't know! Do I want them to? I have no idea!! I just love them in a "Le Tourbillon" (the French song) way: people who find each other, lose sight of each other, find each other again, and the whole cycle starts once more. Sometimes it's not about having, it's about wanting and yearning and reminiscing <3

3. How would you describe your writing style?

I would say it is prose heavy, poetic, introspective, very descriptive and emotionally charged.

8. How slow is a slow burn?

A true slow burn needs to have a good burning period, but there needs to be teasing following by small rewards for the reader. Little treats, if you must. Even if you move forward but then go backwards after said treat. But I think that is the key to keeping the fire burning. It’s like the name suggests, you have to feed the fire to keep it going. YES. I love them. They are what got me into fanfiction years ago. They are what I love to write. Sometimes I want to read something in one sitting and be changed even if I never look at it again. I like to write that so much.

It’s called hyperfixation and I don’t know. I’ve had the same OTPs all my life. They just plant themselves in my soul and live there. I think it feeds my demons too. But god am I so glad to participate in it.

For Valentine's Day (yay!). My favorite idiots in love. Thought I'd do something for the occasion, so here's a bit more on the couple....

1. Who fell for the other one first?

Meti, and hard. Rocket wasn't long soon after, but Meti knew from the second he made eye contact with Rocket that he was the one. When Rocket screamed at him and called him an idiot seconds later? Well, that just sealed the deal.

2. Who made the first move?

Hard to tell since they both went in for a kiss at the same time, but I'm going to give this one to Meti again since he greeted Rocket at the door with apology flowers. He already was making an attempt to shoot his shot, whether he realized it or not. The first "official" move though was them kissing one another, so that's a tie there.

3. Describe their first date.

That's also questionable, and they can't agree on it! But their first one after the dust settled and Meti's home world was safe was a simple, albeit somewhat awkward once since they'd also accidentally gotten married during that time.

4. What’s a perfect date for them?

They can really be homebodies! Perfect date would probably be getting takeout and watching old movies together. Meti would wear something maybe a little too fancy for the occasion, but they have to do something with *all* that makeup. If they aren't at home, trips to nature-themed places are always a hit with the two, like beaches and forest preserves.

5. What do physical trait do they love the most about each other?

Rocket's a solid 11 out of 10 in terms of looks on Fauntera, so for Meti it's a lot of things, from his sharper features to fluffy tail. But it's ultimately his eyes. Rocket loves Meti's shoulders, even though Meti hates how they're a little too broad for some of his dresses. Rocket also likes making Meti's claws retract in and out on his paw when they're in bed together, so his hands are really up there.

6. What personality trait do they love the most about each other?

Meti loves the kindness Rocket has underneath his brashness. Rocket loves how accepting Meti is, and how truly curious he is about the world around him.

7. What’s one way their personalities complement one another? (Is it opposites attract or are they pretty similar?)

Oh, I like this question! There's a lot of ways in which they're opposite, in terms of surface stuff at least. But when you dig down deeper, they click with one another, like pieces of a puzzle. They're good at filling in gaps for one another. They do also have a similar sense of humor. so that goes pretty far in terms of making them work.

8. What are some things they don’t agree on?

There's some butting of heads when it comes to their kids, although they do their best to talk it out with one another and remain respectful. Rocket also doesn't always agree with some of Meti's traditions, or at least is confused by them, and Meti sometimes thinks Rocket acts a little bit too much on emotion without looking at something from all sides.

9. What is each member’s love language?

For Meti it's gift giving. He's from a culture that didn't have a lot, so being able to be a provider for his love is a huge thing for him. It can be anything from tools Rocket's been eyeing to buying him some new clothes. For Rocket it's acts of service. This can be in the form of fixing up a squeaky door that's been driving Meti nuts, to making sure Meti's prosthetic leg is functioning as best it can.

10. What’s each member flirting style?

Meti's a lot more outwardly flirty, with double entendres and swaying his hips just so, but Rocket is no slouch, either. His flirting can come in the form of something as simple as the way he looks at Meti from across the room. He'll also riff off Meti if they begin flirting. Peter has begged more than once for them to knock it off.

11. Who’s the bigger tease?

Giving this one to Rocket. He knows it drives Meti nuts in a good way, so he's happy to tease the poor guy a little bit while they're out, or even in bed. Meti's happy to be the cat chasing the mouse here.

12. What is their favorite place to kiss the other? (Cheek, hand, closed eyelid, neck, nose, etc.)

Rocket likes kissing Meti on the tip of their nose, although he’d explode from the embarrassment if this were discovered; Meti loves the crook of Rocket's neck.

13. What was the most surprising thing they learned about one another once they started dating?

I had to think on this one! I think for Meti it was how soft Rocket was-- The dude cried at least once every movie AND in the Christmas special. You can't tell me he isn't a little bit of a softie underneath the hard exterior. Rocket was shocked at how much Meti was hiding of himself for fear of judgment. Anything from the small things, like what movies he watched, to bigger things like his accent and gender expression. The good news? Meti was able to open a lot more, and Rocket was given a place where he knew he wouldn't be punished for being "soft".

14. Do they like public display of affection?

Yes, but Rocket can sometimes use it as a form of messing with Peter. He's still Rocket, he's still a dick when he wants to be. :,) So yeah, they both are into it when they're not doing Guardian stuff. When it's a mission you wouldn't even know they were dating. They need those boundaries there so they don't look more like targets to their nemesis. Outside of that, though? Sure, they're holding hands. Oh, Quill is around? Rocket will slide rightttt onto Meti’s lap. Meti’s too wrapped up by what Rocket’s doing and plays along every time, whether he realizes it or not.

15. Are they jealous/possessive of each other?

Ah. This is a little more complicated. Meti still deals with self-esteem issues, so there are moments when he feels a little insecure if someone is looking at Rocket. He won't make a big show of it, though. He's getting better by adopting the mindset of "ah. You think my husband is beautiful? Me too. :3 Bask in his beauty. I'm so lucky!". It's a process! Rocket has absolutely been a bit jealous at some of Meti’s exes, but he'll be less outright hurt. That being said he'll play more into his jealousy because he know Meti is kinda into that. He does it for *both* of them. <3

16. Can they sit side by side without touching the other or are they handsy? (lacing fingers, touching knees, etc.)

They can for the sake of professionalism, but it isn't the preference. There's a lot of small interactions with one another. It isn't a big deal for one to lean over the other for something or nudge the other to get attention.

17. How do they comfort each other?

It can be a lot of physical touch, hugging, sitting quietly together, etc.. Just allowing time for either of them to fall apart and come back together once they're ready.

18. Who’s the primary protector of the two?

This is an interesting one, and it reminds me of a Tumblr post I had sent to me about the "sword and sheath" couple. Rocket is the sword, the outwardly ready to fight one, but even a sword needs protecting. Meti is that; he's the one to protect the normal protector. So while Rocket is louder, Meti is the one to quietly make sure no bodies are found. No one bothers his husband.

19. Who is more sentimental?

I feel like they *both* are in their own ways, even if it's shown differently. They both match another nicely in this regard. There's a lot of meaningful songs, gifts, etc. from both sides.

20. Who worries more?

Meti is the more "loud" worrier, and will over-analyze. Rocket will quietly stew from his side.

21. What articles of clothing do they "borrow" from one another?

Usually bathrobes. Other than that, Rocket has a collection of Meti’s old shirts that he likes sleeping with. Meti is never getting these back, which they are 1000% fine with.

22. Who is the big/little spoon?

Meti is the big spoon, Rocket the little one. Again, Rocket would die a thousand deaths if this were to be spoken about in public.

23. What reminds each of their partner?

There's certain flowers that remind Rocket of Meti. So it's a lot of visual things. For Meti it's more smells/feel. So like, the smell of motor oil or certain fur textures. And of course there's songs that remind them of one another. They each have ever-evolving playlists.

24. Are they sentimental about gifts they’ve received from each other?

Yes! Rocket’s favorite thing is the gift of Meti figuring out his birthday (with science!). Meti’s favorite is the engagement ring Rocket made with a bit of a machete that had been a gift from Meti’s parents. Meti had been stabbed with this same blade, and he'd thought everything from his parents was gone.

25. What holidays do they like?

Rocket makes a big deal about birthdays because he went so long without one. Meti loves that he can celebrate the holidays of his home planet, Fauntera. Notttt a big fan of Christmas, but Meti deals with it for the kids. Rocket is becoming more and more a fan of Halloween.

26. What happens if one of them gets sick?

So they've been through minor and major stuff at this point! Rocket has a rough time asking for help, but Meti isn't above getting reinforcements (aka: Nebula and Drax) to help convince Rocket to relax. Meti refuses to admit when he's ill, and Rocket will physically carry him to bed if they need it.

27. Can they stay up all night just talking?

Definitely. They've done it before, for both good and bad reasons. The first night they were together, actually, Meti thought they'd be sleeping together but they ended up pouring out one another’s hearts to each other. This is kinda when Meti knew he was screwed and this wasn't going to be a one-time thing. <3

28. Do they get along with each other’s friends and family?

Meti and Nebula had a very rough patch :,) She didn't think he was good enough for Rocket, and Meti honestly agreed with her! Rocket didn't like some of the new friends Meti met on Knowhere, and yeah, it was with good reason. Now things have settled down a lot more.

29. How likely are they to have fur babies? How many and what kind?

You'd think they would, but nothing permanent. Lots of fostering though. The reason being that between family and work there wouldn't be time for this. That, and Meti’s definition of "fur baby" would include things like crocodiles. Rocket had to put his foot down early to prevent a potential issue where they were eaten by a "fur baby".

30. Are they interested in marriage? Why or why not?

So, uh. Hosa clocked them as having cold feet, and that's part of the reason for his "blessing". He knew these two would shuffle their feet if he didn't work quick. I feel like it would've gotten put off otherwise. Here they married within a few days' of knowing one another. They then worked backwards, dating and getting to know one another better, and then had another wedding to basically cement that yes, they loved one another and were in this together. Neither of them were really against it otherwise, I just don't think it would have been on one another’s radar as high, or they would have been at different points. I think there would have been a lot of Meti longingly sighing at wedding dresses at one point otherwise.

31. Are they interested in having children? Why or why not?

Lollllll so this is a thing. Meti doesn't even think kids are on the table until he falls in love with Rocket. Rocket was going back and forth on it -- Excited! Then worried. He thinks about the ethics of him having children a lot, and worries. After the dust settled they did start having kids. They currently have Groot, their adopted sharklike alien daughter Rook, and Skye, their biological daughter (yay science!). Meti also has a biological son, Lir, but uh. That's a special surprise for later for them.

32. What do they do turn the other on/put them in the mood?

Meti will wear something special that they know Rocket will love -- whether it's perfume or clothing. Rocket will start to get flirier and lay on more compliments. Meti will also brush his tail over Rocket’s legs, which is like first base on his home planet :,).

33. What is their sex life like?

Another question I like! I feel like I could do more questions on this just because I find it interesting. :") It's healthy, that's for certain. Meti takes the lead, and also is a self-proclaimed Dom. Rocket likes that he has an area of life where he's respected, but doesn't always have to make decisions, so sub? Sure, yes. Thank God. And he's proud to be a sub. I could do a whole article on his reclaiming the word "bitch" as a point of pride, but that's for another post, and probably will be. Because that and the F-bomb are two words I chose to use VERY carefully from the get-go. Also there's a lot of kink, but to a point. Due to past traumas, there are things neither of them are comfortable with, but BOTH are respectful of this.

34. Do you have other ships that resemble your OTP?

I think they're very Aziraphale and Crowley coded, but that's just me. Others may have a different take. I'd also say Stede and Blackbeard, but that's actually a relationship dynamic reserved for a *different* couple. But that's another story.

I Decided to Do This for Zekina Even Though No One Asked Me To. I’m Gonna Answer All of Them Whether You Like It or Not!

OTP HC Questions

🌈 - What were their first impressions of each other?  Tina - She thought he was an annoying, loud, obnoxious, gross obstacle to Jimmy Jr.'s affection. Zeke - Thought she was creepy, weird, and a goody two shoes. Despite that, he still thought she was overall a nice girl and still considered her a friend. Even with her flaws, Zeke knew that Tina was a girl worth hanging around.

☀️ - Did they both want children/How many children did they want? 

Both want children but the amount of children is a whole different story. Tina initially thinks 1 or 2 will be enough, meanwhile, her eyes immediately widen when she hears Zeke say 4. He wants one child per arm between the two of them to form the ultimate group hug. A very cute dream, but Tina tries to make him see reason because she knows how much her mom and dad struggled with 3 children, even if their home was always full of love.

Zeke ends ups getting what he wants in the end because they have a VERY healthy marriage.

🐬 - Who made the first move? Technically it was Zeke since he made that declaration of marriage in "Midday Run" and the rest of the time he is just him waiting for Tina to make the next move. Though he probably tries to subtly make the first move again so Tina can get the message that he was serious the first first time.  

🌹 - Who initiated the first kiss?  Tina. Whether if the "Hormoniums" end credits are canon or not, Tina gave the first kiss regardless. Zeke is the king of consent (at least when it comes to kissing, not so much for the consent of poo being at random places in school XD) and wouldn't initiate a kiss unless he's absolutely sure Tina's okay with it.

🥀 - Do they both get jealous?  Zeke is definitely not the jealous type, even when he finally has her. He spent years longing for Tina to see him like he sees her only to be outshined by his best friend or the next long-necked, tall boy with a nice butt and endearing accent every, stinkin' time. He knew he wasn't entitled to her feelings and that he was not her type anyway. So there's no use in getting angry over Tina being happy with someone else because her happiness is more important than her being with him. Tina originally did have jealous tendencies but her morals always overcame her jealousy. That was mostly when she was pining for Jimmy Jr. because he didn't help relieve her own insecurities which bred her jealousy. Now that she's with someone, who in her mind is basically a saint for how long he waited for her, in spite of herself, she's all the more motivated to eliminate any jealousy she could have. She's with someone who she can absolutely trust, so she has no reason to get jealous. Still, anxiety is a witch and she slips back into jealous tendencies. Nothing a little conversation can't fix though. Even so, Tina still can't help but feel guilty for feeling jealous because of how much stronger Zeke is about it in comparison to her.

😒 - Do they get jealous easily?  Zeke trusts Tina too much to get jealous easily. Unless something specifically triggers her anxiety and insecurities, Tina doesn't get jealous easily. As long as she's brave enough to talk about it with Zeke she'll be fine.

😚 - When one gets sick, what does the other do?  Zeke becomes a full-blown nursing home nurse when Tina is sick. Tina finds it very sweet, but it can get a bit annoying and - WHAT THE HECK, GET THAT BED PAN AWAY FROM ME ZEKE! She appreciates it but sometimes a girl just needs her sleep. Meanwhile, Tina has considered strapping Zeke to the bed when he's ill because he refuses to let being sick stop him from going about his day. She pulls him by the ear back to bed because she refuses to carry him back to bed when he's passed out on the ground because he rather be a stubborn idiot than admit he's sick. Laying in bed and not being able to do anything is his personal hell. Even though he hates being useless, deep down he appreciates all that Tina does for him and loves all the love she is showing him. Tina knows how much Zeke hates being still and having nothing to do, so she tries to bring stuff to the bed that will help stimulate his brain but not exert too much energy. She also stays with him for a bit until he either falls asleep or is distracted enough for her to continue to do the daily tasks.

👉 - Who is better at giving directions?  As confirmed in "The Bleakening" every one of the Belcher family is bad with directions, including Tina. So Zeke is the one that saves the day on that front.

😊 - Where do they want to go on vacation?  Tina wants to go to Paris, France to fulfill that wish she made in "Comet-y of Errors". Zeke is a simple guy and would have fun wherever he goes with Tina. However, he thinks it would be cool to do a road trip across the states at least once in his life. Though if you had to twist his arm about it he probably would say either Brazil or Japan.

🍁 - How was their first kiss?  Best 2 seconds of Zeke's life and he couldn't wait for the end of the world again just so Tina would kiss him again. Or if you subscribe to the spin the bottle being their first kiss. Zeke was so excited about how smoothly their first kiss went that he opened his eyes immediately just to see how Tina would react to it.

🐕 - Who is the most affectionate?  Zeke hands down. There's not much need to explain with that one because you can see how affectionate he is with just his friends in the show. Tina is very affectionate too but sometimes she feels insecure about how Zeke is so much more so than she is. She loves the affection she gets but she doesn't want to be a selfish lover and wants to be able to give as much as she takes.

❄️ - Who worries about the other the most? Despite his low impulse control, Zeke is the one that worries more about Tina and not the other way around. With all the crazy shenanigans she and her family get herself into whether intentionally or not, it's no wonder he worries more. Though he tries to mask his worry because he doesn't want to freak people out by showing he's freaking out.

🕸 - What does one do that scares the other?  Finding out that Tina thrashed in her sleep scared the crap out of him at first. Thankfully, Tina woke up before he thought to call an ambulance and explained it. Zeke laughed it off in relief after that scare. He holds her in his arms while sleeping now and that stops her thrashing. He doesn't care if it makes his arm fall asleep, as long as he doesn't have to see or hear her flopping around like a dying fish. Other than that, the danger she somehow finds herself in scares him as well. He would want nothing more than to always be near Tina just to be able to carry her away bridal style away from the danger. His lack of impulse control combined with his tendency to sacrifice himself for the greater good is something that Tina admires but also something that pisses her off and scares her. Would it kill him to think a little and come up with a plan with her before he runs off to sacrifice himself!?

🐇 - Who wants to cuddle the other longer in the morning?  Zeke and he's an absolute baby about it if he doesn't get a little cuddle time before fully waking up. Normally Tina wouldn't mind, but sometimes you're in a hurry and you just have to deal with it like an adult.

🍀 - Who is better at comforting? I think both are equally good at comforting each other but maybe Zeke is a bit better because of how immediately affectionate he is.

🥄 - Who is the big spoon and who is the little spoon?  Pretty obvious but Zeke's big spoon and Tina's little spoon.

🍭  -What are their nicknames for each other? Along with the nicknames he already has for her, Zeke also calls her sweet t, darlin', baby, hon, t cake, t cups, Tina turn on, cinny buns, and starshine (this one is probably too cute for Zeke to say but who cares Tina likes stars and I like this one the most) Tina isn't really good at coming up with good nicknames, so she just leaves them for Zeke. She likes calling him by his full first name Ezekiel every now and then when the mood is right though that's the opposite of a nickname.

🔥 - Who realized they were interested in who first?  Zeke. A part of him always felt sort of drawn to Tina but he didn't really realize he had a crush on her until after "Tina and the Real Ghost"

🥂 - How was their first date?  It started out as a cute, little picnic date at the park. Then Zeke tried to cap off the date with a nice row boat ride in the park lake. He even brought an acoustic guitar with him to play a tune on the water (choose whatever acoustic song you want but this is my placeholder song https://open.spotify.com/track/5erH5r100PHxQGTWNUrxqo?si=0ab5c826a4244187 ). Unfortunately, things go bad in the middle of his song when he feels pain in his stomach. He's been ignoring and pushing away his nerves all day and thanks to the spicy pasta salad he made for Tina and himself, it's finally biting him in the butt. The pain becomes so great that he doesn't even bother to row back to shore. He immediately out of the boat, jumps into the water, makes his good jeans soaking wet, and runs to the nearest bathroom. All of that left Tina confused and worried as she rows back to dry land by herself. She uses her intuition and detective skills to figure out that Zeke probably went to the bathroom and is pleased with herself that she got it right on the first try. As for Zeke, his butt is on fire and the fact that Tina found him so soon is making his pain so much worse. From the outside, Tina asks through the door if Zeke is okay. Knowing that Tina is coming from a place of concern, he admits that he has stress diarrhea and he's been ignoring it all day until now. He didn't want to admit to himself that he was nervous and wanted to remain confident and believe he had everything prepared. Unfortunately, his body betrayed him in the worst way possible. For once he wanted to be more than the trailer trash people think he is. Not that he cares what people think but he wanted to prove to himself that he could romance it with the best of them. He wanted so bad Tina to see him the way he sees her. No matter what he does though, he can't avoid the Zeke up looking right at him. Tina immediately reassures him that this isn't the first time she dealt with stress diarrhea and it won't be the last. She also tells him that she knew what she was getting into when she gave Zeke a shot. He may not be the kind of guy she usually goes for, but surprisingly she finds that she's okay with that. She's not sure how she'll feel in the future but she likes where things are going. More importantly, she likes him, a lot, diarrhea and all. Zeke is reminded why he loves that girl and tries to salvage what's left of their date. Once he puts on the emergency shorts he keeps in his truck, they decide to spend the rest of their time at the touch tank aquarium. Zeke is disappointed that they don't have any tiny sharks or sting rays to touch but still enjoys his time with Tina. They got tacos later after they had their fill of touching fish and kissing. Overall, it's definitely one of the better dates Tina has had over the years.

🎉 - How did they propose?  Zeke does a Frankenstein/Zombie-themed proposal in the cemetery during Halloween.

🖐 - Who can’t keep their hands to themself?  Zeke of course, his love language is physical touch. So not being able to have his arms around Tina or even simply holding her hand when he needs it (which is almost always) is torture to him. Tina isn't as touchy as Zeke is but never protests when he initiates it and loves every moment of it. When she does initiate though, it's much more intimate and surprises Zeke in a good way, such as when she gives him a good slap on the butt or has her fingers graze his muscles for example.

🍥 - Who was (insert character)’s first crush?  Tina's is Jimmy Jr., which I don't even need to say but oh well. Who knows with Zeke. The most we get from his past before Wagstaff is the implication that he had no idea how to deal with girls he had a crush on, so he pushed them to the ground. I'm sure this is something he regrets constantly. He definitely would have issues talking about his behavior before Wagstaff in detail because he doesn't like to think about how much of a jerk he was. He may be a troublemaker in Wagstaff but at least he's not a bully anymore.

✈️ - How do they celebrate anniversaries?  Zeke spends a lot of time making the perfect romantic dinner. Tina sets up fun bedroom activities for later (maybe she gets inspired by some of the erotic stories she made or read idk). They either do a nice sunset walk or horse ride on the beach (I headcanon that she eventually gets her horse farm so she can make her horse-riding beach dreams a reality). Probably on some anniversaries he brushes up on his guitar skills and plays her an acoustic cover to one of the songs she loves or heck sings her some original songs if he had the time prior to compose one. Zeke is impossible to buy a gift for but she still tries to give him something thoughtful to show she cares. Some years they might keep it simple by giving each other thoughtful cards, ordering a pizza, and spending all day watching movies as well as cuddling on the couch or when they realize what's on tv sucks they just make out until commercials come on and they look for something better. Whether the gestures be big or small they'll still love each other through it all.

🐀 - Who steals the covers?  Despite Zeke being the one that takes up the most space in bed, Tina is the blanket thief. It is caused by the thrashing moving the sheets around so much. Zeke is usually a heavy sleeper so he doesn't normally notice. He keeps a spare blanket stashed under his side of the bed just in case though.

💤  - Who falls asleep first?  Zeke and Linda are both gifted with the ability to fall asleep super fast that Tina and Bob both envy.

⭐️ - Who is a morning person?  Tina mostly is by force of habit due to working at her dad's restaurant for years. Though, she sometimes fails at being a morning person when she accidentally pulls an all-nighter because inspiration struck her at the worst possible time.

🌙 - Who is a night person?  Zeke and Tina are both night people but more so Zeke. Zeke hates getting up early and needs to stay in bed snuggling with Tina for a bit before he's ready to start the day. Sometimes he wakes up in the middle of the night to find that Tina is in the zone again. When that happens he groggily carries her to bed, embraces her to get her comfortable for slumber, and reminds her she needs her rest darn it.

🥞 - Which one makes breakfast? Tina tries to split breakfast duty with Zeke because she wakes up earlier than him. Zeke mostly does it though because even though Tina wakes up earlier than him, he is very clingy in the morning and it is nearly impossible to escape his grasp. The man needs his t cuddles before getting up. Zeke likes to get creative with breakfast while when Tina makes breakfast she keeps it basic with pancakes, eggs, and bacon or really simple with just cereal on those days they are both in a rush.

🍰 - Which one bakes/cooks?  Zeke. Tina tries to share the work but Zeke insists because he loves doing it. Tina is not a bad cook, Zeke is just better and Tina is okay with this.

💋 - Who is more rough with the kissing stuff?  Tina, she's a very intimate person when it comes to kissing. Zeke is gentle with Tina because he's hyper-aware of his strength and doesn't want to hurt her. So, especially when in the mood, Tina is rougher with kissing to communicate to Zeke that she's giving him permission to be at least as rough as she's being. She's not always rough though and enjoys gentle kisses too.

🌺 - Do they send cutesy or grossly sweet/romantic texts to each other?  Yes, absolutely. They are the kind of couple that spends hours saying goodbye when texting. Sending each other memes, videos, or cute pictures just to have an excuse to stay in the chat longer.

💐 - Is one more protective than the other? Both are equally protective of each other. Though it's more hilarious with Tina because of her being in front of Zeke, who is bigger than her as she threatens to punch the person that was mean to Zeke again and again and again and again and again and again and again. Zeke just tries to de-escalate the situation by simply carrying her away from the situation as she says her agains. With Zeke, it takes a much more serious tone. Tina simply tries to get him to not go overboard while she's behind him for protection and comfort. Tina is not used to seeing Zeke look so pissed off. It's very intimidating in a scary but sexy way, much to her surprise.

☔️ - How do they make up after a fight?  They give each other some alone time to blow off steam and think about all that was said. They come back to each other to immediately apologize, cuddle it out, and Zeke assures Tina that she means the world to him and that nothing has changed about that or something along those lines. (since her love language is words of affirmation. At least I think it is? I may be just projecting my love language onto Tina because it makes sense for her character. XD Though my love language is a tie between quality time and words of affirmation so I guess make what you want out of that. It's hard when you kin a character so much and you unintentionally project aspects of yourself onto a character and you're not sure if it's even based on canon evidence even after seeing the character for so long. Let's do Ironwood first for the new ask game

I headcanon Ironwood to be bisexual with a preference for men.

Ironqrow for life. They are just so great as a ship, with all the 'mutual pining, not actually unrequited they're just both idiots, bickering divored-couple-energy that still allows for the spark of new love, the matching color scheme they had in their first looks, the way they look at each other, the freaking hug! It's an amazing ship.

Ironwood and Winter. A lot of people ship them and I can see why, but even though I've long headcanoned them to be the same age, in my head they're just very close friends, close to brother and sister, which makes him accidentally want to favor Weiss and Whitley when he knows them. XD

Ironwood and Robyn. Blegh.

5: first headcanon that pops into my head

James uses the training facility at Atlas Academy sometimes and will indulge students that want to spar with him. He's always careful and takes things easy on them, and always lets them get in hits to build their self-confidence.

6: favorite line from this character

"You have two choices: Defend your kingdom and your school, or save yourselves. ...No one will fault you if you leave."

This line is so very James at his best, aggggh! Because it starts out professional and stern, not exactly harsh but more blunt, and then the students all give each other these worried anxious looks, and he softens so clearly in his tone and tells them no one is gonna think less of them, that it isn't their job or their duty or morally right to endanger themselves, and that if they make the choice to leave they can. These kids are seventeen, this might be one of the only times in the first seven seasons that anybody told these kids it's okay to prioritize their own lives.

7: one way in which I relate to this character

I am also kind of socially awkward! Ironwood with his tie adjusting and struggling in conversations and kind of stiff deliveries of things like 'it's good to see you again'... Me too, buddy, I also have no idea how to talk to people. XD

8: thing that gives me second hand embarrassment about this character

The villain arc, ugh. What a terribly written final arc to have. It's always embarrassing to have to specify that I like Ironwood outside of his stupid badly done rushed villain arc that turned him into a boring two dimensional evil-laughing rando with a giant gun-gun using his two remaining braincells to do pointlessly evil things just to get at teenagers. Like??? Cringe.

9: cinnamon roll or problematic fave?

Problematic fave. Even at IW's very best, he still was flawed in some fun ways, he could do the wrong thing, he could do the right thing but do it in a way that makes you go 'huh.' (Gonna be honest, although I love cinnamon rolls, they're not half as interesting as problematic faves.) XD Aaaand at Ironwood's worst, he was a pointlessly evil stuck up bastard trying to kill and torture people for very little reason, and not in a fun way.

Now for Qrow

1: sexuality headcanon

I headcanon Qrow as bisexual as well, and I also headcanon him as having only realized he was bisexual as a grown adult (partially because Qrow is one of my faves and I project onto my faves, and I only realized I was bi when I was a grown adult. XD)

2: otp

Ironqrow again. XD This ship is just so good that it's my number one fave for both characters.

3: brotp

Qrow and Ozpin. This is a ship that I could see myself enjoying, but what I enjoy even more is them as close friends, with Qrow looking to Oz for guidance and as an authority figure and then the roles reverse when Ozpin gets put into a teenage body and suddenly Qrow is the guide in charge.

4: notp

Funnily enough, this one is also Robyn. Qrow and Robyn started being a ship when she caused a fight and then partially due to her actions, the queercoded Clover was brutally murdered, and then Clover and Qrow spent an entire season doing next to nothing but talking to each other despite their relationship mattering less than any other relationship Qrow had that could've gotten developed, and Robyn compared her problems with her active truth-telling semblance to Qrow's "I hurt everyone around me" problems caused by the passive semblance that makes his life harder despite him not doing anything, and then she was like "don't be sad that your actions helped the Salem worshipper brutally murder your friend, he was probably secretly evil and bad and you're better than that despite the fact that I've known you for like a day." Like, their relationship is nothing but angering for me. XD

5: first headcanon that pops into my head

I have this headcanon that Qrow doesn't realize it, but his bad luck semblance tends to react to large emotions he has. He still absolutely can't control it, but when he's calm and casual and cool, his semblance affects him and the world around him a bit less, and when he's really angry or really sad or even really happy his semblance kicks up and sometimes does really big things like cause unexpected rainstorms and make the electricity in buildings go out and stuff like that.

6: favorite line from this character

Raven: "They were your family." Qrow: "You have a very skewed perception of that word." Maybe it's just because this line fits into my headcanons, but I love it because Qrow's past easily lends itself to him having been abused by the people in the Branwen Camp, and then acquired a found family in Team STRQ and Ozpin, and now he has Yang and Ruby and he was involved in picking up the pieces when Raven left and then again when Summer died, which was probably devastating for him. I also just like Qrow's quippy nature and I like that at least someone was calling out Raven on her BS.

7: one way in which I relate to this character

Despite the fact that I've projected onto Qrow, we actually don't have very many similarities. But I'd say that although it's not nearly to the point of Qrow's own issues, I also struggle with feeling like a burden to the people around me and too much of a mess to deal with. I like writing for Qrow partially because it's a good way to explore those feelings.

8: thing that gives me second hand embarrassment about this character

"The size of the waitress's skirt length" Ulgh, gag me with a spoon. The at the time all male writers and one with a particularly bad past regarding misogyny on a show concepted by a guy who likes animating a seventeen year old woman character's boobs to bounce around to a jeering laughing cheering crowd... Yeah, no thanks. I much prefer writing my version of Qrow to flirt a lot but know where the line is and not do things like talk about how hot he finds miniskirts on service workers to his two underage nieces.

9: cinnamon roll or problematic fave?

Problematic fave for sure. Even at his best, Qrow is a rough-around-the-ages spy with shady connections blindly following a leader and not seeing much wrong with getting kids involved who also picks fights with people and is drowning in his own emotional problems in ways that have negative effects on the people around him. But Qrow also (especially in the third and in the eighth season) like it or not also suffers from the problems of the writers, whether that's never giving a damn about inequality, objectifying service workers in a funny story to his underage nieces, seeming weak willed and hypocritical due to the writer's misuse or retconnings or making him go along with whatever Ruby says after Argus, or actively aiding a servant of Salem in volume seven and losing all his braincells in the process so the writers can force it to happen. Either way, Qrow is very problematic, in some fun and interesting ways and some not so fun ways.

Ans: Conan has a whole nickname for her ; the evil eyed yawny girl lol. Haibara considers him a corpse magnet, coz he manages to find dead bodies wherever they go. The I love you part is difficult coz it depends on when they get tgt like it could either go *not surprised at all coz the whole town knows at this point including the person being confessed to;oh yeah took you long enough* or down the *very surprised, screams in their head : they could like me!?!?! ME?!?!?* path coz they both lowkey consider each other their of their league which is sad but like fluffy too? (and that's so frustrating coz they are literally one of the most compatible otp I have ever seen and are soulmates)

6. They are the pros at speaking through eye contact so they definitely don't avoid it unless they're actively avoiding/ignoring the other person for some reason.
